CORRUPT POLITICIANS HAVE POLLUTED THE VISION OF THE FOUNDING FATHERS…

I make that assertion with a broken heart because I love America!  I love the America I have known for most of my seventy-plus years.  I remember asking my grandfather about some of the changes he had seen.  He was born in 1878 and died in 1979, just days short of reaching the age of 101.  He had a unique ability to adapt and embrace change, but he had little tolerance for corruption or laziness.  Now, I am in my seventies and reflecting on the changes I have seen.

I am not referring to technological changes but people’s attitudes and the openness of corruption in politics.  I have discussed some of like ideological views and some with diametrically opposing views about this issue.  We do not all agree, but we all agreed that the founding fathers would not recognize America.

They repeatedly warned us and had the foresight and wisdom to know that the government they were establishing was viable, only so long as corruption was kept to a minimum.  They believed in citizen representation, and although some became career politicians, they believed those making the laws should live under those laws.

Thomas Jefferson quoted Montesquieu’s declaration in Spirit of the Laws, “When once a republic is corrupted, there is no possibility of remedying any of the growing evils but by removing the corruption and restoring its lost principles; every other correction is either useless or a new evil.”  Jefferson, as were most of our founders, was highly suspicious of government.   They had lived under the heavy hand of a monarch whose methods revealed the dangers of tyranny in government.

The America that was borne from the valiant efforts of those in that era has had close calls with tyranny.  Some would argue that the most prolific example was the administration of Franklin D. Roosevelt and his internment of thousands of Japanese, German, and Italian Americans during World War II.  Others cite Woodrow Wilson and the Palmer raids in the World War I era, where over 4,000 people were seized in a single night, arrested without warrants, and sent to prison for their views.  Wilson deemed the people affected as those who were hostile to “American values.”  Does that sound eerily like a philosophy advanced today?

Thomas Jefferson warned, “Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government, those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.”  George Washington echoed that sentiment, “Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins of liberty and abused to licentiousness.”  They warned us, and we slumbered while the fox raided the henhouse of liberty and transformed our government into something our founders would not recognize.

FDR and Wilson were not the only abusers; there have many others, even the more recent actions of Clinton, Bush, and Obama in pushing the limits of government beyond the Constitutional allowances.  I will not try to deal with each violation, only say that corruption and the thirst for power, and the graft that flows to the powerful is a temptation many are unable to resist.

Corrupt politicians have polluted our American political system, and today, we are seen as the bumper crop or fruit from our allowing it to become the norm.  We are supposed to be governed by our consent.  That ship sailed many moons ago, and those in power in Washington and the world power brokers believe they do not need our consent.  They do not if we are unwilling to rise up in the Spirit of 1776 and become a united and consistent voice and force.

The corruption of the Biden family, the current administration, is off the charts, and almost daily, there are new revelations of the extent and depth of that corruption.  The House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) revealed evidence that the Biden family opened over 20 shell companies to hide payments and launder money.  How is that not front-page news and a grand jury immediately empaneled and seated?  That is the tip of the iceberg and evidence of pollution through corruption.

Much is being said about Justices Thomas and Alito and the conservatives on the court’s purported ethics violations, but what about the “wise Latina” Sotomayor’s surge of wealth?  Some of it is legitimate, but if we want to demand some of them to be squeaky clean, we must demand that all of them are.

We are facing what George Washington called one of our greatest dangers.  He said, “If the freedom of speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.”  Jefferson observed, “When the people fear the government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.”  They do not fear us but have given us reason to fear them.

When the FBI has been exposed as a weaponized arm of the Leftists and globalist agenda, we know we have a polluted government that links back to corrupt politicians and greed.  Representative Troy Nehls (R-TX), a former sheriff, questioned Director Wray; he asked about reassigning agents from child sex-trafficking investigations to investigate the January 6th incident; Wray said none were reassigned.  That was not the truth.

Representative Nehls challenged him and revealed that the previous month, Steve Friend, a domestic terrorist investigator for the FBI, testified that he had been told by one of his supervisors that January 6 was a higher priority than pursuing child pornography cases.  Wow!

Some revelations from FBI Director Chris Wray’s testimony is that foreign intelligence agencies worked with Big Tech to silence speech.  The Director’s claim of ignorance on many things suggests that either he is the wrong man for the job, or he is involved in a cover-up of monumental proportions.

My concern is that we have reached the point where the warnings of Benjamin Franklin are applicable today.  His warning was that no people can remain free if they become wicked and immoral. When a sound society decays to the place where people begin to fear for their lives and property, the demand for a police state is inevitable.  We are dangerously on the cusp of such a state, and many are willing to trade freedom and liberty for presumed safety.

The warnings of George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and others spoke to our time when the nation’s moral fiber has declined significantly.   The Bible speaks of rampant and prolific moral depravity, corruption, violence, hatred, and evil as a condition of the Last Days.  But, not to deal with Bible prophecy, I restrain myself and say that for America to survive as the Free Constitutional Republic, we must deal with political corruption, or we will allow the pollution to destroy our republic.

America needs her patriots to stand up and be counted.  We need to fall on our faces before God and become involved, informed, and active in the needed government clean-up.  It begins with each of us and then extends to Washington.

God bless you, and God bless America!

DEATH BY APATHY AND IMPOTENCE…

Regarding the last part of my title, I am not speaking of erectile dysfunction but about being powerless to prevent chaos and destruction.  I will try to explain that more as we proceed.  I am more than a little concerned about America, and that concern increases exponentially when I realize how much apathy and belief that political impotence prevails.

Accepting a negative outcome or defeat before the battle has been fully waged is insane.  It guarantees the defeat of principles, robs the republic of all semblances of republicanism, and relegates us to socialism at best and totalitarianism at worst.  We invite the nefarious, diabolical, demonic, and anti-American cabals to take over.

The ability of the followers of toxic liberalism to silence the majority of people is telling.  The ability to send normally reasonable and patriotic people, believers in God and lovers of freedom, into the shadows in fear is telling.  The desire and not the infrequent ability to indoctrinate our children, shape their thinking, and render parents and pastors powerlessness is telling.

America, we are living in troubled times.  The Bible speaks of it in numerous passages.  In 2 Timothy 3:1-7 – “But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear]. For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them. For among them are those who worm their way into homes and captivate morally weak and spiritually-dwarfed women weighed down by [the burden of their] sins, easily swayed by various impulses, always learning and listening to anybody who will teach them, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

I know that is a long quote from the Bible and may be too much for some, but the Bible has a long history of amazingly accurate predictions, revelations, and warnings that need to be heeded.  I believe in the Bible and the God of the Bible, but I want to take a slightly different approach and use some happenings to validate my contention that we are facing death by apathy and impotence in America.

Our Republic is on the cusp of destruction, and far too few are paying sufficient attention.  Far too few patriots are willing to put their lives on the line and risk everything in the Spirit of 1776 to salvage the Republic.  I am not saying there are none, but too many believe that there is nothing we can do.  That produces a deadly apathy and a belief that we are powerless.  We are not!  The task before us is daunting, and without both God and total commitment to the cause, the looming societal death will become a reality.

Enough gloom and doom, Roy; say something positive!  Okay, we are killing ourselves, but we do not have to!  We have the tools and the backing to overcome this destruction plot.  The backing is God and the American Constitution.  However, unless we unite sufficiently to get the attention of the elitists and political politicians, we will watch the continued erosion of our Republic.

The continuing clamor for reparations is rapidly exposing itself for what it really is.  It has virtually nothing to do with slavery.   The Democrat Representative Cori Bush’s proposed reparations totaling $14 TRILLION reveals a truth most are unwilling to see.  Reparations, but to whom?  Is it to be paid to each of the forty-five million Blacks in America?  That would mean that at least 4.5 million who immigrated after Jim Crow was gone would get money too.  How does that make any sense?

What about the thirty-three million under 50 who have lived all their lives since the Voting and Civil Rights Acts were passed?  How about the Black families whose ancestors were from the northern states and never experienced slavery?  What about those who earn more than $200,000 per year? What about the 1.5 million Black millionaires?  Where does it start, and where does it stop?

I suggest that the real desire is not reparations, not for the purveyors of the idea.  Yes, many who might receive the money may be salivating over it, but those pushing the idea are driven by revenge or misguided shame, not about reparations. It is to punish America and anyone non-black.  What about the American Indians? The Irish were horribly treated as immigrants, and the list goes on.  Slavery is wrong and bad!  No excuses, no justifications!  Yet, America had a smaller number of slaves than many other nations.

Whites fear addressing this issue for fear of being called racist, insensitive, unfeeling, and uncaring.  I am none of those, but I am not afraid to address the fallacy of requiring people who had nothing to do with that horrific condition to pay for the failures of previous generations.  In Deuteronomy 24:16 and Ezekiel 18:20, the Bible does not allow the children or the parents to be put to death for the sins of the other.  Each is responsible for their own actions.

Today with Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and drones becoming more prevalent and used by the military, we see an incredible display of might.  However, we should be asking who holds the power.  Whoever controls the AI has an advantage, but who is that truly?  The dangers of system failures or diabolical formatting scream danger for humanity.

We watched the Terminator movies and laughed at the ludicrousness of it, but like many things from the comic books of ages past, things have a way of becoming reality.  When an idea is formulated in the minds of humans, the drive to make the truth becomes visible.  Could the robots or robotic tools go full Terminator?  I do not have the answer, but with all things technological, the data input has a significant bearing on the output.  Who is behind the scenes formulating the plan?

Today, we are watching, with horror, the overt attempts to subvert our electoral process and establish irreversible changes that make elections a moot point.  I am concerned that a four-year term for Joe Biden and his handlers might be sufficient to implement and solidify changes that are difficult, if not impossible, to overcome.

The federal agencies, the public schools, professional organizations, unions, and much of the scientific community’s research arms have all become tools to serve the interests of the Democratic Party and the Globalist agenda.

Go back to March 2021, and the Biden Executive Order directing all six-hundred-plus federal agencies to help “get out the vote” was and is alarming.  The federal government is constitutionally barred from running elections; local governments are charged with that responsibility and authority.  The order by Biden is designed to tilt the elections in favor of his party.  It is unconstitutional, and we are not powerless to address it, yet too many Republicans and conservatives sit in fearful silence.

Some insist that everything political is cyclical and not to worry.  I say, “Wrong!”  That mindset is part of the problem and, if followed, will result in Death by Apathy and Impotence.  I cannot watch America be destroyed without voicing dissent and calling for the patriots to arise and reclaim the republic.

God help us, and God bless you, and God bless America!

WHAT IS AMERICA IN 2023?

What I am about to say will likely have mixed reactions from all sides of the political and ideological aisle.  Some believe that what we are experiencing in America is simply another of the historical cyclical political evolutions, and it will return to the center or right soon.  Others believe the handwriting is on the wall and the proverbial fat lady has begun singing; it is over.  Others believe that we should just let politicians handle political matters and not be concerned; after all, the debt is just paper, not real.  I believe all of those are wrong, at least in a measure.

The founders of this Republic believed that this was a government of the people, for the people, and by the people.  They believed that the citizens or voting public were responsible for giving oversight to the politicians.  If those representatives misused their office and did not pursue the wishes of their constituents, they should be evicted at their next election.  Allowing politicians to handle political matters is what has placed us between this rock and a hard place.  We did it to ourselves through our apathy or ignorance.

The followers of toxic liberalism are actively engaged in pushing the envelope to the point of no return.  They have pushed their chips to the center of the table and are willing to have a shooting civil war, if necessary, to achieve their agenda.  That is one of the reasons the Left is so determined to ban firearms from the public.  If they render us defenseless, they can suppress all resistance with relative ease, as have despots in history.

We are in a cultural war where the activists on the Left are seeking to destroy everything foundational to traditional America.  They are Maoist, and someone said, “They are often as absurd as they are terrifying.”  One of the things the Durham report did was expose the corruption and activism of the FBI, CIA, and DOJ.  We could throw in any number of alphabet agencies and not miss the mark.  However, that exposure means little if there is no action by the public and the politicians in Washington.

When federal law enforcement officers can openly and willingly perjure themselves before Congress, we have a vision of the real America in 2023.  We have the founders’ vision contrasted against the fundamental transformists’ desire.  When the federal bureaus and agencies become political activists and propagandists, we have a view of where we are in 2023.  The revelations do not speak well of the Republic’s health.

The lunacy of California’s Leftists regime speaks of the condition prevalent in the Leftist camps and is a microcosm of the elitist attitude and lunacy in Washington.  California is facing a deficit of $32 billion and yet wants to advance an $800 billion-dollar ‘reparations’ payout to the state’s Black residents.  That is nonsensical on every level, but to the followers of toxic liberalism, it is the only logical conclusion they can see.  That speaks of America in 2023.

Osama bin Laden told his followers, “The people want to follow the strong horse and will abandon the weak one.”  Our nation, the United States of America, is being systematically destroyed and rendered weak by the powerful demons in DC.  Our hope is three-fold; we must return to God and our moral moorings, become involved and engaged in what is happening, unite and demand that politicians of all stripes honor the Constitution and their oath of office, and follow the rule of law.  Anything less will produce a fundamentally transformed America without liberty, justice, or hope for the American dream.

The founders exhibited incredible wisdom and embraced God’s divine providence in producing the Constitution.  That document gives us a legal pathway to save the republic.  We dare not abandon provisions to help us return to sanity because the Left abused those provisions.  Just because something has been abused does not mean it has no place in government.  Impeachment is one of those provisions.  However, it must be incredibly rare in its use and for legitimate purposes, unlike the Left’s abuse regarding President Trump.

The Biden family’s and other politicians’ corruption must not be overlooked and left unaccountable.  The criminality and possibly treasonous activities must be addressed.  If Congress is unwilling, the DOJ too partisan, and the FBI and CIA too dirty, we must take the matter into our own hands.  How?  There are many avenues, but one of the most significant is on our faces before God.  Another is through litigation, basically a class-action lawsuit by the American people.  Another is at the polls and diligently seeks to send people to Washington that believe in the Republic and our system of governance.

IT IS PROBLEMATIC when FBI Director Chris Wray is willing to lie to the American people and Congress.  He denied the 1023 form with damning evidence regarding the Joe Biden bribery scheme.  He denied it until Senator Grassley publicly declared that he had seen the unredacted document and knew precisely what was in it.  Then Director Wray admitted its existence.  But he gave no indication that the agency would take any action.  If Congress does not move to charge him with contempt of Congress, they should be charged with dereliction of duty.

This administration has weaponized the DHS through an anti-terror program to target Christians, conservatives, and the Republican Party.  How is that for politics and dirty politics at that?   Biden’s team took the program implemented under President Trump, the “Targeted Violence & Terrorism Prevention Grant Program” (TVTP), and revamped it for their nefarious purposes of political activism.

The program has been modified to no longer prevent or target actual violence and terrorism to target an entire spectrum of the political right and Christians.  They are doing so through “media literacy and online critical thinking initiatives.”  They are utilizing this in an attempt to force America into a One-Party System politically.  The silencing of conservatives and anyone who disagrees with the WOKE agenda and globalism is the goal.

When no dissenting voices are heard, the masses believe the propaganda offered by the approved venues.  If you only hear one side of an issue, you have no basis to disprove and even argue against it.  You may know in your heart and by using your cognitive ability that it is inane, if not insane, but you do not have the information.  If you are not allowed to voice your view, then those whose minds are already mush from the brainwashing that has been ensuing for decades will parrot the points and drink the Kool-Aid.

The ball is in our court, America.  If you love freedom and value our system of government as prescribed and described in the Constitution, then you must become involved.  You cannot sit on the fence.  You may not agree with everyone seeking to preserve the America of our Constitution on all points, but if you value freedom, there is room for you in the movement to save America.  God will help us, but only if we repent and return to Him and show backbone.  If we are willing to live in forced servitude, He will allow us to take our chosen path.

Let us band together for Faith, Family, and Freedom!  America needs her patriots more than at any other time in our history.

God bless you, and God bless America!

WHAT IS AMERICA’S GREATEST NEED TODAY?

Many things come to mind when I ask or am asked that question. I am sure that everyone has their own perspective and idea.  As I have been praying and musing on America, where we are, where we have been, and where we are going, some agonizing thoughts have come to mind.

When I witness, what, in my mind, is an assault on our American foundation, the pillars of freedom, and the principles upon which America was founded, I become agitated.  I wish I could say that it was always ‘righteous indignation,’ but sometimes it is unadulterated blood-boiling anger that could quickly morph into hate, and I fight against that with a passion.

I do not want hate to be filled my heart; although I hate sin and the result of sin, I do not want to hate the sinner.  I hate the attempts to dismantle and unravel our constitutional framework and diminish the principled fabric of our society. Still, I do not want to hate those who disagree with me about what is best and the direction we should take. Hate will never produce genuine and lasting victory and progress.

What is the greatest need of America today?  HEALING!  You may disagree, and that is your right and privilege.  I will not argue that there are not some incredibly imposing and threatening dangers facing our republic; there are!

Yet, from the Bible and history, I know that a house divided against itself cannot stand, become incredibly weak, and open to invading ideologies and forces that would dismantle and destroy us.  I do not believe that we genuinely want that!

The Bible offers us a prescription for Healing found in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “and My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.”  [Amplified].

I watched the MSM, the political pundits, activists, and the protests in the aftermath of the 2016 election in which a Republican defeated a Leftist Democrat.  That was a sad reflection of our divide.  We will expand the divide if we allow ourselves to focus on our particular ideology, pet agenda, personal preference, or pet peeve.  If we allow ourselves to be drawn into Hate and continue to fan the flames of discord, we will fail as a nation and suffer individually and collectively.

When I reflect on the inaugural speech of President Trump in January 2017, I find something that is vitally important.  He said that United America is Unstoppable!  He said other things about setting aside our prejudices and biases and realizing that we are All Americans and America should be first, not personal preference.

I do not suggest anyone abandon their convictions or principles.  I would never do that, but I suggest we resist and reject Hate!  I suggest we seek common ground through which we can work together for the good of America and Freedom at home and abroad.  We both lose if you hate me, or I hate you based on skin color.

If I hate you or you hate me solely based on personality, we both are reduced to incredibly small people.  If I hate you or you hate me based on which side of a political issue we stand on, we dig a chasm that will prevent us from finding a solution to our nation’s problems.

I watched the signs carried by the protesters, “Love Trumps Hate,” and next to that sign was a call for assignation or some other incredible act of violence and hate.  Love does triumph over Hate, but we dare never forget that Hate and Love do not flow out of the same fountain or heart simultaneously.

I believe that America’s greatest need is Healing!  I could say repentance, but that will only come as we have a measure of healing.  I am convinced that Healing can only truly come from God.

Looking back on history, I was appalled when Barack Obama won in 2008 and significantly discouraged when he won again in 2012.   I was disturbed by the visible fraud and discrepancies that elevated Joe Biden to the Oval Office.  Yet, I did not stop being an American and wanting what was best for America.

I opposed Barack Obama, and I oppose Joe Biden.  Have I been vocal?  Yes, I have!   Yet, I have never called for Barack Obama or Joe Biden’s murder or the Obama girls or Biden family to be harmed.  I have never called for the rape of their spouses or children.  I have never sought to destroy the framework of our society, government, commerce, or community.

The policies of Obama and Biden have offered me almost nothing to praise.  Some found nothing good in the policies of Donald Trump. But if we love America, are willing to suppress our prejudices and biases, and resist the tendency to Hate that which is different, we can survive and thrive as a nation.  Healing is America’s greatest need, and it is my greatest need as a human being.

I hate the message and actions of Islamic jihadism.  I hate the murder of innocent babies in the womb.  I hate the attempts to strip all references and mention of God from our public stage.  I hate the gender confusion and destroying the lives of the innocent.

I hate the ‘fundamental transformation’ of America into something other than the nation we were established to be and the principles upon which we were formed.  I hate the works of evil no matter what form that comes.  However, I do not want to be filled with Hate and thereby prevented from having Love for my fellow man.  I want to be a part of the Healing of our Nation, not a part of the perpetuation of division.

Some will not receive my sermon well, but I hope you hear my heart.  I Do Not want anyone to abandon their principles and discard their core convictions.  I want you to protest what you believe is wrong but do so in a civil, peaceful, constitutional, and legal manner.  I want all of us to be able to stand up for what we believe is right but to do so as rational and mature people.  I am praying for Healing in our land and am committed to interceding for America.

God bless you, and God bless America is my prayer and desire!

THINKING ABOUT MY HERITAGE…

Recently I spent time reflecting on my heritage and how to describe my parents and grandparents, and one word kept coming to mind – S T R E N G T H.   I learned a lot from each of them. But the overriding quality was their strength; it is one of the most lasting visual remembrances indelibly imprinted upon my memory.  There were good times and tough times; they demonstrated incredible strength in both.  I never saw them cower in fear, and they found a way to overcome whatever obstacle they found blocking their path.

My maternal grandfather C.R. (Randolph) Kellum, was one of the most intelligent, integrity-filled, loyal, and courageous men I have ever known.  He earned the respect of everyone, and even some whom I learned did not particularly like or agree with him respected him and knew his word was his bond.

My maternal grandmother Bertha Bell Kellum was one of the kindest, gentlest women I have ever encountered, and her love for my grandfather was storybook quality, as was her love for her family.  She was unassuming, gentle, and a strong believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, as was my grandfather.  They expressed it differently, but both were genuine in their faith.  In diverse ways, I saw STRENGTH in them that have inspired me through the years.

My father, W.P. Beaird, Jr., was incredibly creative and could accomplish virtually any task before him with little education or formal training.  He knew how to think something through to a valid conclusion and did not know the word defeat or quit.  His love for family was without question.

At times he manifested a granite-like exterior, but we knew his heart.  He did not verbalize his love much, but his actions spoke volumes. I knew he would die for his family if necessary, and I found comfort in that.  After I had been in the ministry for a number of years, he came down the aisle during a revival and confirmed or reconfirmed his faith in receiving Jesus, and for that, I rejoice!  In him, I saw tenderness behind the veil, but in all things, I saw STRENGTH.

My mother, Elva M. Beaird, was the most loving and caring mother a person could ever have hoped for.  She willingly sacrificed for her family and would have it no other way.  Once before her departure to heaven, I received word that she was hospitalized. As I drove to see her, I reflected on how she demonstrated godliness at all times.  She had my grandmother’s heart and my grandfather’s strength.  She was truly a Proverbs 31 woman, and we treasured her.

She, as did my father, fought for my survival as a child when the doctors were not sure I would ever live to be an adult, and then her heart was crushed when I deployed to Vietnam.  Twice in her life, she feared losing me; her most powerful battle in those times was prayer.  I know she prayed for me throughout my tour of duty in Vietnam.  I have seen her discouraged and disappointed, but always in those challenging times, she manifested STRENGTH.

Reflecting on my heritage, it has been one of firm faith in God!  A strong commitment to family!  It embodied a willing acceptance of responsibility for personal actions!  It taught me a willingness to work to provide for my own, and a determination never to quit!

My heritage and the legacy they have given me is S T R E N G T H.   After becoming a Christian and over the fifty-plus years, I have learned the source of that strength and know that “the Joy of the Lord is my strength.”  I have come to understand that “The Lord is my strength, and I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”   My heritage gives me a foundation upon which to build, the courage to continue, and the strength to finish the course and finish it in faith that I will.

I have a rich heritage through natural lineage but an even greater heritage in Jesus Christ.  Without Him, I not only could do nothing, I would be less than nothing.  My significance is not in what I have done, possess, or the accolades of man; it is in my acceptance in the Family of God through the New Birth.  When I was in total rebellion, God loved me enough to work on my life to bring me to an encounter with the Living Lord!  Thank God for loving people and God’s Agape Love!  I am truly a richly blessed man.

My heritage as an American is also rich, and it would behoove each of us to reflect on what those valiant souls did in securing our independence and the system of government that was established. We need to return to being One Nation Under God! We need to return to being staunch defenders of ALL our Inalienable Rights. We need to restore our Republic!

Thank you for allowing me to speak of personal things from my heart!  You are all valuable gifts and recognized treasures from the Lord to me, and I deeply appreciate each of you, although I do not know all personally.  You are valuable and encourage me daily!

God bless each of you.  I share a bit of my heritage and hope that it inspires you to remember all the blessings and lessons you were taught by your parents and grandparents!  Loving families are wonderful blessings, and I am a rich man in that area!

AMERICA –ALL OF US ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPUBLIC

It is the responsibility of every generation to refresh the Tree of Liberty!  Not necessarily with the blood of her patriots but in the spirit of liberty espoused by our founders.  That is especially true today for those of us who love liberty and a Constitutional Republic in America in contrast to the voices, forces, and ideologies seeking to destroy it.

I am convinced that our founders based the Constitution, our system of government, and our judicial system on the presumption that those in leadership would work toward preserving the principles of Freedom.  I am not so naïve as to think they did not foresee the potential tyrannical despotism.  I believe they attempted to place safeguards and sound warnings loudly enough that we would hear them centuries later.

Our founders faced serious problems forming a new government for our fledgling nation. I believe they did a remarkable job addressing those issues and attempting to insert adequate safeguards against despotism.  Like most systems of government, theory is not always practiced; thus, we have the problems our nation faces today.

Although some wanted to make the office of the President a Monarchy, the majority recognized the problem of placing too much power in the hands of one individual.  They also wanted a strong court system but not one legislating from the bench, so they sought to develop a system that gave the court strength but not extreme power.

At the time of the Constitutional Convention in 1787, many were predisposed to developing a government that would provide a ‘separation of powers’ where three branches were ‘co-equal’ in responsibility and power.  This was certainly not a new idea but one that had never successfully been established as it would be in America.  Its roots can be traced to the 4th Century with Aristotle, championed by John Locke, refined, and expanded by Baron de Montesquieu.

The writings of those men and others influenced many of our founders greatly, as did the desire to safeguard against the monarchial system.  They wanted a strong executive held in check by a defined legislature balanced by a judiciary that reviewed matters from a constitutional basis.  That worked splendidly for decades but has been incredibly eroded over the past few decades, especially in the past few years.

In our present condition, we have an administration pushing the limits of presidential authority, a congress abdicating responsibility, and a court where nine black-robed persons virtually decide what is legal and what is not.

Instead of having a ‘balance of power’ where three branches are ‘co-equal’ providing checks and balances, we have blurred lines and distortion.  Our founders warned us of the dangers of any of the three branches becoming too strong or weak and laid the ultimate responsibility at the feet of WE, THE PEOPLE!  If every generation does not ‘refresh the tree of liberty,’ we will find that we are truly ‘one generation’ away from losing our liberty.

  • When the president, attorney general, and other major political figures encourage the disregard for our justice system from a purely racial perspective, we invite disruption of the peace.
  • When they encourage people to disturb the Peace in protest rather than attempting to educate about the process and the facts and maintain civil decorum, it is an invitation to lawlessness.
  • When a president exercises power outside the constitutional scope of that office, ignores Congress, and disobeys the courts, it is rightly called tyranny.
  • When Congress abdicates its responsibility to exercise the power of the purse, pass legislation, and give oversight to the lawful exercise and observance of those laws, we can rightly call them impotent.
  • When the courts render decisions that can only be understood as rewriting laws, we can rightly accuse them of abuse of power.

We have each of those happening to a greater or lesser degree in present-day America.  I do not wonder what our founders would say, for I believe they demonstrated that in the American Revolution, Declaration of Independence, and Constitutional Convention.

The president, attorney general, and some major political figures continue to call for those of a particular ethnicity to create havoc because they perceive a wrong has transpired.  Those in leadership are fanning the flames of hatred and racism, which will result in incredible chaos if WE, THE PEOPLE, fail to unite our voices.

We must all realize that while our system is not perfect, the Constitution must be respected.  I am not calling for watering the tree of liberty with the blood of patriots, as did Jefferson, but I am calling for watering the tree of liberty with our unified voice, demanding a return to Constitutional Republicanism and lawfulness.

America needs, no requires, our United Voice of Support for liberty in contrast to the voices of hate.  America needs leaders who protect and defend the Constitution, even if it is not what they would prefer.  America needs leaders who will follow the law, working to change all bad laws and serve as representatives of the people, not purveyors of power and position.

America, we have a man in the oval office that is not cognitively capable of guiding our ship of state.  His handlers are making republic-destroying decisions and imposing impossible restrictions upon our liberties.  We are being incrementally destroyed, and it is up to us to unite and fight the good fight of faith for Faith, Family, and Freedom.

The overly corrupt FBI, the weaponized IRS, and the abuses by many of the bureaus within the federal government are dangerous, if not deadly.  The blatant disregard for the non-WOKE elements in our society and the forced acceptance of those following the toxic liberal agenda make it impossible for our republic to survive.  We must rekindle the spirit of patriotism and return to Constitutional governance, or we will see our republic disappear.

My heart breaks for America, and I plead, God bless America, and God bless you!

SELF-INFLICTED WOUNDS ARE THE WORST…

A few weeks ago, we celebrated Memorial Day 2023, and I truly hope that everyone engaged in some deep introspection and examined the reason for the celebration.  It was not about fireworks, barbeques, the lake, leisure, and time off work.  It was about the incredible sacrifice of our fallen heroes.  It was about Freedom and the incredibly high price tag it carries.  It was about those fallen, their families, and in a measure, those who suffered incredible wounds but did not die.  It was and is about Freedom, America, and Love!

I often weep as I reflect on where we are as a nation and how far we have drifted from our origins.  The lack of gratitude and awareness of what we are supposed to be all about and the sacrifices to make it a reality is alarming.  I am a Vietnam Veteran, but this is not about me.  It is about those who paid the ultimate price.  It is about their families that were left to suffer the grief and loss of their loved ones.  It is about those crippled by PTSD and other physical and mental wounds incurred in the fight for freedom.  It is about love and forgiveness.  If we miss that, we miss our purpose as America!

I have often reflected on the warning of our predecessors and founders about self-destruction.  Some today are so captivated by the abnormal, perverse, and antagonistic that they detest what we identify as normal, decent, good, and peaceable.  Some are more interested in the fight than the solution.  Some are more fixated on differences than similarities and possibilities of unity.

We have drifted or abandoned absolutes in much of America. That condition is nowhere more apparent than in academia and politics.  It is creeping into religion and will prove far more destructive than all the others combined.  We have created a self-devouring monster in America, and those of us who are watching are horrified at the rapidity of the creeping, cancerous thinking being advanced, embraced, and lauded.

When we allow deviant thoughts and preferences to force compliance to their deviancy, we inflict wounds on ourselves.  When we give preferential treatment to select groups at the expense of decent, hardworking, family-oriented people, we inflict deadly wounds on ourselves.  When we strip those who want the American ideals presented in the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution of more and more of what they have earned, we guarantee our own destruction.

The idea of entitlement, foreign to the Constitution, destroys incentive and encourages more deviancy in thought and action.  We inspire people to be uninspired and allow power-hungry elitist politicians and powerbrokers to shred our republic.  What do they want to replace it with?  Totalitarianism in which they are the totalitarians.  They want power and control and believe nothing immoral or unethical in achieving that goal.

In America, every citizen is entitled to the same rights under the law.  No group, individual, or organization is entitled to special consideration, promotion, or remuneration.  The incredibly dangerous idea that no one should ever be offended is a pathway to an impossible societal condition where destruction is guaranteed.  The view of our founders that shaped our formation is that “All are created equal and have been granted certain inalienable rights by our Creator.”  The right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness without infringement and usurpation by the government or the WOKE snowflakes are included.

If we do not return to absolute values, biblical precepts, and moral standards and demand our politicians’ ethical behavior, we will finally inflict a death blow to the republic.  The rights of one cannot be demanded at the expense of the rights of others.  None of us have a right not to be offended.  The Bible speaks of offense and uses the phrase “takes offense.”  It is a choice to be offended, and if you value Freedom, including freedom of speech for yourself, you must also defend it for others.  Failure is to inflict wounds on ourselves that guarantee our destruction.

The political elitists of today and the cognitive deficiency in the current president are creating a world where they are self-absorbed and isolated from the world around them.  They do not see us as co-equals but as necessary pawns to achieve their designs.  They are not public servants but public overseers and masters, in their view.

Our Western and American culture’s bedrock is Freedom of Speech.  The founders understood that the right and privilege to think one’s own thoughts and express them peaceably was essential for the republic to survive and thrive.  If we cannot question or even criticize the government, how are we different from the despotic regimes of totalitarians and authoritarians of the world?  If speech is not free, we are not free!

The day we disallow Freedom of Speech is the day we cease to be the Free Constitutional Republic of our founding.  I am appalled at the PC Police’s power and the ability of the WOKE world to force those who disagree to have a voice.  The pronoun police insisting that we call self-described gender deviations by the desired pronoun is anathema to both America’s founding and the Bible.

During the COVID pandemic and paranoia, we watched the devastation of Executive Fiats.  The implemented mandates destroyed lives, businesses, and relationships and weakened our republic.  The drastic measures deemed necessary crossed party lines and, rather than saving the nation, weakened it perceptibly.

History is replete with examples of how power-thirsty rulers gained ultimate control and power.  One of the most visible was by creating emergencies and taking actions to ‘save the people.’  However, their purpose was not the salvation or safety of the people but power and control.   When these despots create their emergencies, they use propaganda and the perception of immense danger to create a situation where the people beg for relief.  They transpired by giving up freedom for perceived safety, and as Benjamin Franklin warned, “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

Liberty and safety do not have to be at odds with each other. Still, if we cede our liberties and inalienable rights for government protection, we will discover, as did Germany under the Nazis, that we have lost both.  When we succumb to the imposed mandates without questioning and demanding more information and verification, we inflict wounds on our republic.  Self-inflicted wounds are the deadliest.

America, will we recover our reason and revive our spirit of freedom sufficiently to restore the Constitution to its rightful place in our government, or will we continue to inflict wounds on ourselves?  If we return to reason and unite, we will survive.  If we do not, we will watch the systematic reversal of our history and our republic.  We must return to moral sanity as the Bible teaches and right behavior and freedom as described in our Constitution.

God bless you, and God bless America!

WHERE ARE WE SOCIALLY, MORALLY, ECONOMICALLY, AND POLITICALLY?

Okay, I realize that is virtually impossible to answer, and with all four of those elements inserted into the equation, it becomes even more daunting.  I am a born-again Christian, a believer in the God of the Bible, in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Most-High, a natural-born American citizen, a patriot, a Vietnam Veteran, and a lover of Freedom!  Does that qualify me to address these issues?  Not on the surface.  I am not an expert in anything except my own opinion.  By that, I mean I have an opinion and know what it is more than anyone else, so that qualifies me as an expert, right?  (Tongue firmly planted in cheek).

However, with all the self-proclaimed experts in Washington, the Media, Hollywood, Entertainment, and a multitude of activist groups, I am unafraid to venture into the troubled waters of today and offer an opinion.  I readily state that what I offer, although backed up by some pertinent data, is my view not to be viewed as infallible.  Only God is infallible!

I keep reading and seeing reports of a significant decline in religion in America.  I do not want to split hairs about religion vs. relationship as being the true determiner of Christianity.  I use the term religion because it is easily understood as being connected to Church and those who hold the Bible as relevant.  I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God rather than simply being a book that contains some of the Word of God and then filled with errors and fables.  I reject that.  If that offends you, then your issue is not really with me, the messenger, but the originator of that thought, God.

We are told that in the Millennials and Gen Z’ers, there is a marked decline and rejection of the Bible, Christianity, the Church, and the precepts taught in the Bible.  I am sure there is an element of truth in that, but is it as widespread and pervasive as we are being told?  I do not know, but if it is not, the objective in presenting that idea is to influence more of those generations and discourage the rest who are Christians.

The 2022 General Social Survey (GSS) reported that the question posed in this survey has been asked annually since 1972.  That would give a lengthy track to evaluate the trend.  In this report, the Silent Generation and Baby Boomers who profess faith in God decreased by 5 percent since 1988. The Silent Generation dropped from 70 to 65 percent, and the Boomers from 65 to 60 percent.  It seems that the percentage of believers has declined with each successive generation.  There are a thousand reasons for that condition, which is more to my point in this article.

The younger generations’ declaration of faith in God is even less and has fallen more rapidly, per this report.  We are told that only 43 percent of the Millennials believe in God today compared to 53 percent in the late 90s. The Gen Z group is dropping more dramatically from 45 percent to 31 percent.  Again, each successive generation has lost its faith in God, the Bible, and the tenets of Christianity.

Between 1972 and 2022, those who never attended increased by 24 percent.  Those who attend weekly have dropped by 19 percent.  That is not a good sign when academia is working overtime with the government, activist groups, and other entities to discredit and discount the Bible and God.  The more God is dismissed, the more moral failure increases, including crime and lasciviousness.

Politically we are informed that 46 percent of Biden supporters in 2020 identified as non-religious. The projection is that the Democrats and liberal politics will gain ground in suburban areas that are predominately white but with a fading religious base. That points directly to states such as Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.  Texas and Florida will likely hold off the leftist advances, but for how long?

The reality is that the culture war that is being engaged is truly a battle to restore religion of faith in God to America.  Failure to achieve that objective will result in more of the lunacy we are witnessing with gender confusion, sexual deviancy, lack of moral turpitude, and an increase in crime, including sexual assault and murder.  Drugs will become more prevalent, and absolutes will disappear even more.

Anyone with even one eye open should acknowledge that there has been a dramatic decline in morals in America.   We need a miracle to restore the republic, salvage the home and family, and restore even a semblance of safety and security in America.  I am appalled at what is happening today and the lack of concern that young children are being exposed to lewdness and depravity on the airwaves and in our public schools.

I do not mean to be crude and vulgar, but I was apprised of an electric sign at a subway platform with the caption – “We Love Vaginas.”  Those words were posted above the photograph of a woman’s lower half, wearing skimpy black panties, knees raised, and separated.  There is no sense of shame anymore.  I have heard some argue that pornography is an art and must be protected and made available without restraint to anyone.

Television programs and newscasts refrained from obscenities not long ago, but they are the norm today.  Today, there is nothing off-limits for school libraries.  The overt descriptions and pictorial accounts of virtually every form of perversion are deemed acceptable and appropriate.  I do not, but then I am one voice.

I am reminded of an English preacher and polemicist who led the fight in 1833 England against slavery but established the Society for the Suppression of Vice earlier in 1802.  The SSV had a long list of offending vices that needed to be expunged from British society.  One was “Profanation of the Lord’s Day (Sunday), profane swearing, publication of blasphemous, licentious and obscene books, false weights and balances, and many others.”

Wilberforce was concerned with publishing and distributing “licentious and obscene books.”  Today that is deemed normal and even acceptable by many in society and some in the church.  The “F-Word” is common today and bandied about by both sexes with no restraint.

Corporate America has launched an unmistakable war on religion, and if we do not choose sides and stand for what is right, we will watch our children be sucked into the black hole of depravity.   Everyone is aware of the Bud Light commercial that enlisted a trans woman to sell their beer.  Target hired a Satanist to design LGBT clothes for kids and began selling ‘binding’ and ‘tucking’ swimwear targeting children ages 2-7.

We know that June is now identified as “pride month.”  Many corporate brands have pushed their chips to the center of the table, joining the rainbow cause.  The time has come to not only choose sides but possibly even religions.  There are only two sides in this war.  I align with C.S. Lewis’ side called Tao, which was his ecumenical shorthand for objective moral truth.    He said, “The Tao, which others may call Natural Law or Traditional Morality or the First Principles of Practical Reason or the First Platitudes, is not among a series of possible systems of value.”  He said, “It is the sole source of all value judgments.  If it is rejected, all value is rejected.  If any value is retained, it is retained.”

The contrast is what has been called “The Machine.”  Its roots are deeply embedded in the Nietzschean rebellion against God, which is truly a “rebellion against everything: roots, culture, community, families, and biology itself.”  Both streams date back to the Garden of Eden and the Fall of Man.

Corporate America has entered the fight; even if some go broke, they will not retreat.  We must resist them and refuse to relent.  We must reject them and rethink the value of our Faith in God and our religious foundations.  It will require sacrifices and may mean some have to redevelop their professional pathways.  But be assured that no one will be able to straddle the fence.  This will be a fight to the finish, and we either get in or get run over.   I am ALL IN for Jesus and America!

God bless you, and God bless America!

WHAT DOES INDEPENDENCE DAY MEAN?

Tomorrow is July 4, 2023, and the day we celebrate Independence Day in the United States of America.  This is the 247th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence from Great Britain.  The formal declaration that the American colonies would no longer deem themselves to be under the governance of the King of England, George III.

The long struggle for Independence, which was nothing short of a miracle, was fought from 1775 to 1783.  The armed conflict was jumpstarted in April 1775 when colonial militiamen in Lexington and Concord engaged the British troops.  It was not until 1778 that France entered the war on the side of the colonists, turning what could be called a civil war into an international conflict.  It was in 1781 that the British forces surrendered to the Continental Army at Yorktown that signaled the end of the war.  However, the formal recognition of Independence was not achieved until 1783.

The Second Continental Congress convened in Philadelphia, where they voted to form a Continental Army led by George Washington.  The Battle of Bunker Hill ended with a British victory. Still, the Continental Army inflicted heavy damage on the British forces led by General Howe and encouraged the colonists immeasurably.

Almost from the outset, General Washington had to be creative and endured incredible difficulty keeping his army intact and supplied.  The many obstacles that were overcome testify to and solidify the belief of those men and many of us today that failure would have been the outcome without God’s divine providence.

History records that the British strategy in 1777 was to advance a two-pronged attack to split New England and make it impossible for the Continental Army to survive.  British General John Burgoyne’s forces marched from Canada southward to meet General Howe’s forces on the Hudson River.  But the best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.

General Burgoyne suffered incredible losses in retaking Fort Ticonderoga.  At the same time, General Howe moved his forces south from New York to confront General Washington near Chesapeake Bay.  The battle of Brandywine Creek in Pennsylvania occurred on September 11th, when the British defeated the Americans and entered Philadelphia on September 25th.  General Washington recovered and counterstruck Germantown in early October before withdrawing to Valley Forge for the winter.

The move by General Howe, a strategic blunder, hindsight reveals, left General Burgoyne’s forces exposed near Saratoga, New York, and on September 19th American General Horatio Gates defeated the British at Freeman’s Farm in the first Battle of Saratoga.  On October 7th, a second defeat at Bemis Heights, called the Second Battle of Saratoga, caused Burgoyne to surrender, which proved to be the ultimate turning point in the war.

Many more battles transpired. Finally, General Cornwallis retreated to the Yorktown peninsula in Virginia, where the York River empties into the Chesapeake Bay.  With the backing of the French under General Jean Baptiste de Rochambeau, Washington moved against Yorktown.  The thirty-six French ships prevented British reinforcements from arriving, and Cornwallis was trapped.  He surrendered his army on October 19th

Cornwallis, ever the narcissist and refusing to suffer personal embarrassment to the upstart colonists, who were lesser in his mind, claimed to be ill and could not attend the formal surrender.  He sent his second, Charles O’Hara, who approached General Rochambeau in another slight to the Americans. Rochambeau deferred to General Washington, who astutely recognized the situation and sent his second, Benjamin Lincoln, to accept the surrender sword.  Bravo, Generals Rochambeau, and Washington!

In 2023, July 4th is on a Tuesday, giving millions a four-day weekend.  Unfortunately, many in America today only see this as a day off work rather than reflecting on the holiday’s significance.  It is more than picnics, boating, and fireworks.  It is about the birth of a Republic that championed individual rights and freedom.

Independence Day is It is about the birth of a Republic that recognized the inalienable rights of all men and led to a constitution that sought to guarantee the protection of those rights.  We are in another war today, but it is not a war with outside forces but a war within to maintain our status as the Free Constitutional Republic where God is honored and man’s inalienable rights are recognized.

Before 1776 the colonists were accustomed to celebrating the King’s birthday with ringing bells, fireworks, parades, and speeches.  In 1776 the colonists celebrated differently by holding mock funerals for King George III to symbolize that the monarchy’s hold on America was over.

The typical festivities included concerts, bonfires, parades, and the firing of canons and muskets with a public reading of the Declaration of Independence.  General Washington celebrated by issuing double rations to his troops in 1778 and 1781.  Then politics entered, and the Federalists and Democratic-Republicans held separate celebrations in many larger cities.

You might be interested to know that the first recorded fireworks were used as early as 200 BC.  But, in the colonies, on July 4th, there would be massive celebrations, and the ships in the harbors would fire a 13-gun salute to the Thirteen Colonies that made up the New United States of America.  Celebrations grew even more prolifically after the War of 1812 when we faced down the British a second time.

In 1870 the U.S. Congress made July 4th a federal holiday, and in 1941 the provision was made to grant a paid holiday to all federal employees.  In the 19th century, the holiday became more focused on leisure activities, family get-togethers, and barbeques.  The importance and meaning were on the decline.

The American flag, the symbol of freedom, and the Star-Spangled Banner’s playing, still marks the holiday in many places, but that too is on the decline.  Many do not know that two prominent presidents died on July 4, 1826, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams.  They died within hours of each other, and I have heard some insist it was planned.  By whom?  God?

America has enjoyed a long history of freedom, and our liberties, freedoms, and rights are in the balance today.  The globalists, fundamental transformists, and anti-American sentiment that is alive and well in America seek to rewrite our history and leave future generations ignorant of our history and purpose.  They desire that so they can manipulate thinking and thereby control the masses.

We must remember that Freedom is always one generation away from extinction, and it is up to us to fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom.  Our duty and moral obligation is to stand up for America, the America of our Founding.  It is time for us to take back our government!

How?  We can only do it with prayer and a return to God.  We cannot do it at the polls alone or politically with laws, regulations, executive orders, or mandates.  We need to vote, but voting alone will not change people’s hearts.  We need God’s divine help and His face to shine upon us again.  I ask that you join me as we celebrate Independence Day, commit to intercede for America, and stand up and be counted!

God bless you, and God bless America!

MAMMA, HE’S CRAZY or MAMMA; I SEE CRAZY EVERYWHERE…

I am not referring to the Judd’s song from 1984 but to the lunacy of modern American politics.  The lunacy is pervasive in Washington, oozing out and engulfing a large swath of our society.  Sir Isaac Newton said, “I can calculate the motion of the heavenly bodies but not the madness of people.”

Just reading the headlines of various blogs and news media sites reveals the utter lunacy and madness prevalent in our world in 2023.  I wish I could say this is a passing trend, and a return to sanity and normalcy is around the corner, but I believe this is the new normal.  I also believe this new normal will become darker and open the door for our self-destruction as a republic.  It does not have to happen, but when those in the asylum run the institution, nothing productive results.

I want to wade through a few headlines and reports to validate my contention that craziness is the new norm in America and American politics.  The Supreme case Tingley v. Ferguson is revealing.  Brian Tingley, a 20-year marriage and family counseling veteran, appealed to the SCOTUS to hear his challenge to a discriminatory law passed by Washington State in 2018.

In almost fifty percent of the states and the District of Columbia, when a counselor legally guides a minor patient to embrace his or her God-given biological sex when that boy or girl is buffeted by the winds of transgender hysteria and confusion is banned.  That is called “conversion therapy.”  Tingley argues that the law violates his inalienable right of speech and his religious liberty.  He argues that the Washington law is “anti-religious” and violates “his right to live his faith.”

Based on this law, a licensed counselor is not permitted to encourage minors to fight through their mental, emotional, and spiritual turmoil and embrace their God-given gender identity.  However, the law does allow licensed counselors to encourage and guide them in the other direction and embrace a transgender identity.  If that is not discriminatory, then I must not know the definition of discriminatory.

Research by the CMDA indicates that about 80 percent of minors who experience gender confusion “naturally align” their thinking to their biological sex over time.  That would mean that the Gender-transition procedures (GTPs) pushed by those counselors would be devastating and, if followed through, medically irreversible.  That could and does lead to an increase in suicides and other adjustment issues that makes life a living hell for them and those around them.

The gender confusion being pushed is madness, and to prevent licensed counselors from following their core convictions and the minors from resisting the push to pursue irreversible action is a violation of our inalienable rights and our moral mandate.  I believe there are two genders as created by God, male and female.  To insist that young children are mentally, morally, and socially mature enough to make those decisions is idiotic and dangerous.

Another evidence of the pervasive lunacy and madness in today’s world is Peter Singer’s insistence that AI (Artificial Intelligence) should have human rights.  What?  This illustrious ethics professor at Princeton University also argues for abortion and euthanasia.  He gives AI more favor than the life of the unborn in the womb and the right for people to live until God takes them home.

He said: “They say, “Well, you know, do we know whether a lobster is really conscious?” and I would say look, there is some evidence that a lobster is conscious and capable of feeling pain, and even if we’re not completely sure, we should give the benefit of the doubt.”  However, the scientifically and medically documented fact that the baby in the womb can feel pain is inconsequential to him.  Lobsters are more valuable than human life, it would seem.

He, like most of the pro-choice or pro-abortion contingent, does not believe that the babies in the womb are people.  He said, “Killing a newborn baby is never equivalent to killing a person, that is, a being who wants to go on living.”  To confound the matter even more, he acknowledges that he admits that life begins at conception but argues that a human life is not worth preserving or even simply not actively destroying just on the basis of it being a human life.  That is beyond lunacy and madness!  He said, “I don’t think that the fact that an embryo is a living human being is sufficient to show that it is wrong to kill it.”  I have no words to describe my horror at that attitude!

Another is a current contention that ‘Waking up Early is Racist.’  That’s right; if you thought that rising early, being productive, and being industrious was a good thing, you are deemed wrong; it is racist.  That’s the contention, and it is utter madness.  The purveyors of this idea contend that by getting up early, you are affirming a system that’s roots are embedded in white supremacy.  You are, therefore, part of the problem and must change or be punished.

The contention was that slaves were forced to get up early; therefore, anyone who wakes up early is racist because they are perpetuating the system that produced slavery.  Do not try to argue that for centuries and millenniums, people have gone to bed and arose with the sun out of situational necessity.  Forget the fact that multiplied millions, if not billions, of people throughout human history have had to wake up early and put in a hard day’s work to survive and provide for themselves and their families; it is racist.

What seems to be missed in all this craziness and lunacy is the undercurrent seeking to tear down every shred of our societal framework and make everything racist.  If you get up early, exercise, labor, and do things to be healthier and wealthier, you are racist.  If you participate in home exercise and outdoor sports, seek to maintain a healthy weight, eat a healthy diet, be on time, and wake up early, you are racist.  Personal responsibility is also racist.  This is beyond madness; it is diabolical, destructive, and deadly.

I believe in God!  I am a follower of Jesus Christ, a Christian!  I get up early and have all my life.  I strive to be on time all the time.  I do not exercise as I should nor eat as healthily as I should, but I believe those are good things.  I hate no one and begrudge no one what they have acquired through their labors and even inheritances.  I am not a racist, but according to the modern WOKE mentality, I am because I am a white male of European lineage.

America, if we continue to allow the lunacy being advanced and imposed on us to prevail, we are destroying ourselves.  If we allow our children’s continued indoctrination and brainwashing, we are destroying ourselves.  We will destroy ourselves if we continue to demand tolerance of everything that violates our core convictions and the Bible.

It is time that we return to our moral moorings and reestablish our commitment to and value of morality, ethics, family, and faith.  We can salvage this republic, but only by casting off the lunacy that is being demanded, returning to God, and uniting as a singular voice that says, NO MORE!

God bless you, and God bless America!
