GOD, GOVERNMENT, AND AMERICA’S HISTORY…


I realize I am standing on the edge of a chasm that separates people, especially in the political world.  Including God, the Bible, and Christianity in any discussion regarding government and politics frequently opens the door to hateful vitriol.  It becomes a hotbed of dissension, and almost immediately, we are told that our founders wanted an impenetrable wall of separation between the church and the state.  By that, most assume that means nothing of God, Christianity, or the Bible can be included in government.

I have been asked and asked, “Did America have a Christian Founding?”  I have asked that in church circles, academic groups, and liberal and conservative gatherings, and a stunning majority of the time, I hear – NO!  Those on both sides of the answer use flawed logic and presentations to prove their point. 

Let me state that I believe we did have a founding rooted in Christianity, the Bible, and faith in God.  I believe that the founders wanted to have a separation between church and state not to prevent anything of God from influencing governmental decisions but to prevent the state from infringing upon the religious liberties of Americans.  The 1st Amendment was designed to prevent the government from usurping our inalienable rights of speech, assembly, religion, and press. 

Simply, we were to be free to say what we thought, gather peaceably, worship according to our beliefs, and write what we believed without undue obstruction by the government.  Keeping anyone from being offended at what we said, thought, or wrote was not the objective; ensuring that we would always maintain that right was. 

Today, this administration and previous administrations, at the behest of the globalists, and activists of various sects, have placed our religious and other liberties in the crosshairs.  If they could, they would censor all pulpits that preach biblical precepts and principles that are counter to their particular ideology and agenda.

The America of today does not resemble the America of the late 1700s or even the America of the 1950s.  During the past couple of decades, our identity as a Christian nation with a Christian and biblical foundation has been significantly eroded.  History is replete with declarations by our founders of their view regarding the providence of God and how it was by His guidance and grace that we became a nation and then became arguably the greatest nation known to man.  We were a beacon of freedom and hope shining into the darkness of hopelessness.

What was the view of the masses in 1776?  Historically, we find that almost every European American, except for about 2,500 Jews, identified as a Christian.  I would say all, but that is doubtful, although virtually everyone expressed a belief in God.  Historical records indicate that about 98 percent of the colonist were protestants, and the remaining 1.9 percent were Roman Catholic. 

I acknowledge that statistic is almost meaningless because we do not know the depth of their Christian commitment or adherence.  They may have been like some of the GOP, identified as RINOs; they may be CINOS (Christians in name only).   The argument that most of our founders were Deists is countered by some of their writings and other historians. Who is right, and who is wrong?  No amount of detail would fully persuade those who are persuaded.  It is almost, “My mind’s made up, don’t confuse me with the facts.” 

Just as it is possible for a nominal Christian to be influenced by Christian ideas, it is equally possible for an orthodox devout Christian to be influenced by non-Christian ideas.  I believe the case is easily made that the Bible highly influenced our founders and that Christianity profoundly influenced them. 

If we make 1776 the beginning place of the founding of the nation, we err and subject ourselves to a skewed view of the true American founding.  I agree with historians such as Gary De Mar that our “nation begins not in 1776, but more than one hundred fifty years earlier.”  If we go back to the beginning, we are much more likely to understand how God, the Bible, and Christianity influenced our founders and defined our republic.

The Puritans were serious in their desire and attempted to create “a shining city upon a hill.”  Early colonial laws and constitutions actually incorporated entire biblical texts.  Therefore, dismissing the influence of the Bible, God, and Christianity is impossible. 

In the late 18th century, the American Republic was brought to a new place of establishment through the War for Independence.  For many, that is entirely unbiblical based on Paul’s discourse in Romans 13 about subjection to civil authorities.  But history reveals that in the 12th century, Christian scholars allowed for citizens to overthrow evil kings.  John Calvin, possibly the most politically conservative of those of his era, contended that it was mandated by God to do just that in some cases.

Those views predated Locke’s “Two Treatises of Government,” which profoundly influenced colonial America.  The “Black Robed Regiment” (dissenting clergy) actively participated in the War for Independence.  They preached it from their pulpits, threw off their clerical robes, and took up arms fighting for freedom in the name of God.

The Declaration of Independence makes it impossible to dismiss the influence of God, the Bible, and Christianity on the founders.  “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”  The text makes references to the laws of nature and of nature’s God, appealed to the Supreme Judge of the world, and expresses their reliance on the protection of divine Providence.  How could we not conclude that Christianity was a significant, if not a supreme, influence on our founding?

Christianity is not mentioned in the Constitution or Bill of Rights. Still, it is inescapable, and the repeated reminders by our founders of the value of morality, ethical behavior, and sinfulness of man substantiate the view that we were founded as a Christian nation. 

In Federalist 51, James Madison famously declared, “If men were angels, no government would be necessary.  If angels were to govern, neither external or internal controls on government would be necessary.”  Obviously, we are not angels and not governed by angels in America.  The moral standards of the Bible were lauded, and we have a mountain of evidence in the laws passed that affirm that reality. 

In 1947 we took a significant shift in the wrong direction, slowly eroding our Christian foundations and transforming America into something unrecognizable by the founders.  The Supreme Court decision in Emerson v. Board of Education.  Justice Wiley Rutledge expressed the view that the founders desired an impenetrable wall of separation between church and state to prevent anything of God in the government.  But that is inconsistent with the written expressions of the founding fathers.

The founding fathers believed that religious liberty was a right that had to be protected.  I encourage you to read George Mason’s 1776 draft of Article XVI of Virginia’s Declaration of Rights.  James Madison argued for an amended wording to clarify that “the free exercise of religion” is a right, not a privilege granted by the state.  It is inalienable!  Even our first Congress, the body of legislators that crafted the 1st Amendment, as their first act was to appoint and pay congressional chaplains.  Does that sound like they wanted to ban God, the Bible, and Christianity from Government?

I do not wish to make this treatise overly lengthy, but it must include a letter written by Founder Benjamin Rush in 1791.  He said: “To the arguments I have mentioned in favour of the use of the bible as a schoolbook, I shall add a few reflexions. The present fashionable practice of rejecting the bible from our schools, I suspect, has originated with the deists. They discover great ingenuity in this new mode of attacking Christianity. If they proceed in it, they will do more in half a century in extirpating our religion than Bolingbroke or Voltaire could have effected in a thousand years. I am not writing to this class of people. I despair of changing the opinions of any of them. I wish only to alter the opinions and conduct of those lukewarm or superstitious Christians who have been misted by the deists upon this subject. On the ground of the good old custom of using the bible as a schoolbook, it becomes us to entrench our religion. It is the last bulwark the deists have left it; for they have rendered instruction in the principles of Christianity by the pulpit and the press, so unfashionable that little good for many years seems to have been done by either of them.”

America, our moral fiber has been severely damaged, and we have lost sight of the value of every human life and the benefit of the moral, ethical, societal, and governmental guidelines found in the pages of God’s Holy Writ.  We need, no, we must return to our moral moorings, or we will lose the Republic.

THE 2024 DOOR…


I believe that 2024 will be pivotal for the Republic known as the United States of America.  Of course, it will; every election is; however, I believe we are at the precipice of the exaltation or elimination of our Republic.  We will either see Constitutionality and the Rule of Law return along with a righting of the ship of moral sanity, or we will see the darkness of a failed republic.  Yes, that is apocalyptic, but I hold that view with a ray of sunlight and hope.

I believe in God!  That is a stand-alone statement!  My faith in God and belief in the principles and precepts taught in the Bible shape my view of life.  My Christian faith shapes my worldview.  My interpersonal relationships are based on my religious convictions.   I say that unapologetically.  I do not feel I have to defend God; He is far more capable than I am.  I must give the reason for the hope I hold in my heart and do it with civility and the love of God. 

I will address a minor segment of the revelations or confirmations of the Durham report regarding what has been going on and how it could affect the 2024 election.  If anyone still has any measure of faith in and trusts the Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Internal Revenue Service, or any of the federal bureaus, I would be stunned.  However, the history of the voting public and the superfluous diatribe in regurgitating the rhetoric of toxic liberalism opens the door for there to be some.  I hope they are few and far between, but politics is politics, and partisanship is alive and well in 2023.

The handwriting is on the wall, and if Congress (both parties) do not reign in the rogue FBI, a coup could also target them.  Those who use people are not excluded from being used by people.  Many of the players in Congress and the global fundamental transformists use people, and once their usefulness vanishes or expires, they are trashed or targeted.  What we are seeing is beyond Orwellian; it is a nightmare happening before our eyes.

The DOJ cannot and will not police itself, so Congress must assume that role if we are to survive.  The FBI cannot and will not police itself, so Congress must assume that role if we are to survive.  Congress cannot and will not police itself, so We, the People, must assume that role if we are to survive. 

We know what we need to do but do not know how to do it.  We are fragmented; the transformers know it and use it effectively against us.  We are biased, prejudiced, and sectarian on many fronts, which renders us easily manipulated as a nation.  A house divided against itself cannot stand, and we are a divided or fragmented house.

There are many theories why Donald Trump is so hated by those on both sides of the political aisle.  I dare not attempt to tell you why that hate is so prevalent.  I acknowledge that some may be self-inflicted.  However, the major reason those in power hate him is the threat he poses as an outsider and not a member of their fraternity.   Love or hate him, I believe he desires to see America great and is not afraid to act in the face of opposition.  No human that I have observed always makes the right decision every time, so I do not elevate Trump to infallible.  He has flaws like the rest of us.

The FBI whistleblower Garrett O’Boyle has placed his life and future on the line to come forward with hidden information.  If he is accurate and is relating the accounts accurately, we should all be deeply concerned.  He said, “I never swore an oath to the FBI; I swore an oath to the Constitution….”  That is how it should be. 

I did not swear an oath to the branch of the military I served in; I swore an oath to the Constitution.  My oath has no expiration, and my allegiance to the Constitution and God is unflappable.  When any bureau of agencies of the federal government becomes weaponized, we need the patriots to step forward and expose it.  That is the spirit of 1776 needed in today’s America!

We knew and now have it confirmed in the Durham report that the FBI played loose and free with facts and truth and ignored the rule of law in the 2016 election cycle.  It has been confirmed that they dropped four probes into Hillary Clinton and her family’s non-profit just before the 2016 election.  Why?  The only logical conclusion is corruption.  The desire and attempt to sway the election and insulate Hillary, the darling of the Left, drove their decisions.

The Little Rock and New York offices were investigating claims that an outside commercial industry “likely engaged a federal public official in a flow of benefits scheme. Namely, large monetary contributions were made to a non-profit, under the federal public official’s direct and indirect control, in exchange for favorable government action and influence.”  That should have been pursued with diligence because if any of it was true, crimes had been committed and were a potential threat to our national sovereignty. 

The DC investigation was based on allegations that the Clintons accepted millions in donations from foreign governments as well as very large Russian corporations in an attempt to influence U.S. foreign policy dating back to Hillary’s tenure as Secretary of State. 

The fourth investigation was looking into allegations made by what was called a “well-placed” source that Hillary continued accepting illegal donations throughout her presidential campaign. 

Why were these dropped?  Among other reasons was the presumption that she would be the Oval Office’s next occupant and have the power to upset their apple cart.  They were afraid of her.  I did not say they feared being another of the numerous suspicious suicides, but it cannot be ignored.  During their two years inside the Clinton camp, the FBI dragged its feet and refused to get wiretapping warrants for their ‘well-placed’ informant.

The matter of the fifty-one signatories of the bogus Hunter Biden Laptop letter still needs to be addressed.  The Hunter Biden Laptop was real, and every signer of the letter knew it; Biden knew it, the Democrats knew it, and the media knew it.  It was a part of the plan to destroy Trump, protect the Bidens, and shift the election.  The rampant corruption and fraud make it highly unlikely that any future election will be truly legitimate.

At this point, I could throw up my hands, throw in the towel, become a hermit, and try to hide from Big Brother’s all-seeing eye.  I could, but I refuse to do that.  I still believe in the American people that there will come a time; hopefully, before it is too late, they will realize we have been played and reject the chains of servitude being imposed incrementally. 

Beyond that, I believe in God and take 2 Chronicles 7:14 seriously and believe that IF we will repent, pray, seek the face and direction of God, and return to moral sanity, we will see God move to help us providentially.  There will be patriots rise up who can articulate and actuate the issue, the solution, and bring it into being.

We cannot solve the issue and save the republic via the ballot box alone, but on our faces before God.  I ask you to join those of us who are committed to interceding for America and willing to stand up and speak out as we sound the alarm and call to action.

HAVE WE LOST THE REPUBLIC?


I detest feeling the urge to be pessimistic regarding our Republic, but I ask, “Have we lost the republic?”  Has the ship of republicanism (system of government) sailed, never to return to the harbors of freedom again?  Has the fundamental transformation that Barack Obama salivated to achieve reached a point where it is inevitable?  Have we, the people, totally abdicated our constitutional, moral, ethical, and biblical responsibilities governmentally?  Is America still America?

Before you blast me with both barrels blazing, pause for a minute and ponder where we are and how little the Constitution means in today’s American government.  How little it means in the halls of justice, the bureaucracies, and virtually every sector of our American life.  If you can genuinely assess where we are and the abridgments and infringements that have transpired and say we are okay, what I say will either irritate you or dismiss me as a conspiracist cook.  Either way, another nail will have been driven into the coffin of the American Constitution and Republic.

I have had little to say about the Durham report because nothing will likely be done with the findings.  It exposes and then gives cover to the violators or enough cover that those in power will talk about it but do nothing.  That is business as usual in Washington from both sides of the political aisle. 

The 306-page report that took too long and cost too much revealed the egregious abuse of power and only exposed what has happened, is happening, and will continue to happen.  Unless there is a transformation of the human heart of those seeking to seize total control over our lives and government, it will continue.  That is not very optimistic, is it?  However, I will state that although I see the handwriting on the wall and the obvious dangers, I still believe in God. If God’s people and the lovers of freedom unite and return to moral and ethical sanity, we can salvage the Republic.

The incredibly blatant partisanship of the FBI is appalling. The knowing disregard of exculpatory evidence and the deception and lies advanced to obtain warrants on the Trump campaign are more than a little troubling.  The reality that our federal law enforcement could and would break the law and disregard the moral and ethical duty to follow the Constitution does not bode well for our Republican System of Government.

It has been said that power corrupts, and ultimate power corrupts ultimately.  That is apropos in Washington today.  I am not sure what each of the elements of the corruption thinks they will gain, but it involves money, power, position, and insulation from prosecution should the winds shift.  I believe that they believe they are betting on the winning horse or holding the winning hand and therefore have hitched their wagon to that star.  I pray they are wrong!

The FBI’s guiding principle statement is ‘Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity.’  The Durham report exposed the hypocrisy of the agency.  I do not want to throw every member of the FBI under the bus. Still, all who participated in and facilitated the fraud, corruption, distortion, lies, and deception are not worthy to carry that shield.  Those supposed guiding principles are not rooted in the hearts of many within that agency, especially those at the top.  It was blatant partisan politics seeking to shape, shift, and determine the election(s).

One thing John Durham did was lay out the abuse of power in unmistakable terms.  The fact that little is being said and little action is being taken should be terrifying to every American.  If they can do what they did to Trump and other Conservatives, they can do it to all of us.  If the FBI deems itself above the law and not subject to the moral, legal, ethical, and constitutional guidelines, they are a modern Gestapo.   That is not the America of our Founders nor the America many of us grew up loving.

If it were just the FBI, we might have a greater sense of optimism, but the CIA, DOJ, NSA, Homeland, IRS, and other agencies have been involved.  The DOJ and the FBI in this investigation are the most obvious, but the others were not innocent and without guilt.

When a self-determined elite hierarchy operates as they have, you cannot maintain a republic of free citizens with a government of, for, and by the people.  If we wonder what the founders would say about this, we only have to read some of their many writings.

John Adams eloquently stated, “Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.  It is wholly inadequate to the government of any others.”  George Washington concurred in his farewell speech, “’Tis substantially true that virtue and morality is a necessary spring of popular government.”  Those are only two of the many quotes we could cite.  The founders would align with Jefferson and call for “the tree of liberty to be watered with the blood of her patriots.”  They would not be milquetoast cowards!

Those who know me know that I base all I believe governmentally, socially, morally, and economically on the writings and teaching of the Bible.  I am a follower of Christ and believe the Bible to be The Word of God, not simply containing the Word of God.  I believe that without God’s providential help, there would be no America, and without his guiding hand, it cannot survive.  2 Chronicles 7:14 resonates with me. I believe the declaration of scripture that if we return to Him, He will return to us.

So how do we fix the problem?  We, the people, must determine that we will return to our moral moorings and reject any politician that plays free and loose with the Constitution regardless of party affiliation.  We must demand ethics, morality, truth, observance, and obedience to the Rule of Law and the Constitution.  If it is good for the goose (us), it is good for the gander (politicians, bureaucrats, justices, etc.).

Congress can pass a myriad of new rules and regulations, and they will be sidestepped and ignored like the previous ones were.  Unless we, the people, unite under the flag of freedom and recover our moral virtue and allegiance to the Constitution and thereby demand it from the political elitists in Washington, we will have lost the Republic. 

The FBI whistleblower Garret O’Boyle, one of three testifying to the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, warned others who might come forward – Don’t Do It!  He said that the FBI would destroy those who dared. His words, “They will crush you!  The government will crush you and your family if you attempt to expose the truth about the things, they are doing wrong….”  He said those like him are examples of what the government will do to those who spill the beans.

The verifiable reality of what they did to him should be enough to send chills down the spine of every citizen.  It invokes images of the Tsars in Russia, the diabolical tyrants of China, the Nazi regime in Germany, and more.  It is Idi Amin, Pol Pot, Porfirio Diaz (Mexico), Genghis Khan, Stalin, and a host of others.  The pathway to power is similar in each of them, and the abuse of power is evidenced in them all.

America, we MUST return to God and UNITE, or we will witness the final nails being driven into the coffin of the Republic.  I cannot and will not allow that in silence and compliance.  As Queen Esther responded to her Uncle Mordecai, “If I perish, I perish,” I avow the same.  Maybe we have come to the kingdom for such a time as this.  We must stand fast for Faith, Family, and Freedom, or we lose everything!

WHATCHA GONNA DO WHEN THE WELL RUNS DRY?


I am not talking about Fats Domino’s song “I’m Walkin’” or any songs with the theme of a welling running dry; I am talking about the United States of America as the Free Constitutional Republic.  There is only so much water in the Well of Liberty, and if it keeps being siphoned off and reclassified and redistributed to everyone but Americans, the well will run dry.

America was established to be a government for of and by the people.  It was designed to be a Republic governed by the consent of those governed.  That we no longer reflect that system of government is, in a great measure, our fault.  We allowed the infringement of our inalienable rights.  We allowed the usurpation of our Constitution.  We allowed the politicians to become overlords rather than amenable to us, the citizens.  We allowed a monster to be created; slaying that giant will be no small undertaking.

One of the many tactics to gain total control of our lives and livelihood is global warming, climate change, climate disruption, or whatever they are calling it these days.  The incredible paranoia and fear engendered by the superfluous diatribe and rhetoric are destructive in numerous ways.  One is the complete loss of hope among the gullible youth who believe the hype and see no hope for the future.  That has driven some of them to suicide.  That is tragic but deemed by the advocates of this agenda as acceptable collateral damage.  It is not!

The cost economically is astronomical, and we are not being told that solving the problem by 2030 will cost $50 Trillion.  However, they cannot tell us exactly how they will make that happen, but they need the money, so we should comply; otherwise, we will die due to climate disruption.  Man will cease to exist, and the planet will be unlivable.  The propagation of fear is driving people into a state of depression where they are unproductive in any sector of life.  The sky is falling, and they have resigned themselves to experiencing doomsday!

The cost socially is reflected in the complete disruption of relationships, including families and friendships.  If you disagree with the rhetoric and do not bow at the altar of Climate Change, you are deemed unworthy of any civility or even the air required to sustain life.  I have people who will no longer speak to me because, to them, I am a member of the flat earth and entirely out of touch with reality.  The planet’s climate is more important than the people on the planet.  They disregard valid scientific data and reject all biblical references to the earth’s sustainability.

The cost politically is experienced in continually eroding our rights, liberties, and freedoms.  We have effectively created an oligarchy of elitists and globalists incrementally gaining power. The more power they gain, the more we lose. The more they are able to demand behavior modification and dictate what we drive, wear, eat, housing, etc., the more we are being dominated by totalitarianism.

There are two versions or presentations of reality in this matter. There is the right (true) and the wrong (false).  The theories regarding carbon emissions and the hype that we will all die unless we end carbon emissions are flawed.  If we were to eliminate all carbon dioxide, we would die.  The hype over greenhouse gases is based on fallacious and manipulated data slanted to further the agenda.  The agenda’s core desire is not controlling the climate but controlling the masses of people.

I will not attempt to explain the fallacies involved but declare that I believe God created the heavens and the earth.  That means God created climate!  One of the promises of God found in Genesis 8:22 reveals His control.  Ecclesiastes 1:4 declares, “Generations come, and generations go, but the earth remains forever.”  We know from the Book of Revelation and other passages that there will be a global catastrophic occurrence that has nothing to do with climate change.  That being said, God is still God, and He was wise enough and knowledgeable enough to know what technology we would have.  I will not fear!

Another reality is that issuing a government fiat will not automatically make green energy viable or affordable.  It will not make electric vehicles viable or practical as the primary mode of transportation.  The costs involved and the need for fossil fuels to produce the equipment needed to manufacture the wind and solar plants or the modes of transportation reveal the need for all our energy sources.  Just throwing money at something does not make it valid; it makes it expensive. We must remember that with every government handout, there is a measure of government control demanded.  That again brings us to the core objective – Control, not of the climate but of the people.

In April of 2023, we encountered the misnamed “Inflation Reduction Act.”  It was advanced in a time of runaway inflation.  It followed the Alinsky modus Operandi of never allowing a crisis to go to waste.  Politicians attempted to give the American people a magic pill to cure our economic ills.  Multitudes were duped and bought it lock stock and barrel or hook, line, and sinker. 

I was appalled when Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen admitted the core purpose of the Inflation Reduction Act.  Did anyone hear what was said?  It did not seem so because we have continued to allow the politicians to do what they do best – break what is not broken and repair nothing.  She said, “The Inflation Reduction Act is, at its core, about turning the climate crisis into an economic opportunity.”  But for whom? 

The spending bill was so massive that no politician and virtually no citizen read it or will read it in its entirety.  Even if we did, we would need a gaggle of lawyers and constitutional experts to decipher what was beneath the surface properly.  It was a feel-good action used to placate the fears of economic collapse by millions of Americans and worldlings. 

Politicians have learned that they can insert anything they desire in their spending bills, thereby manipulating people and driving their agenda unimpeded.  It is always promoted in a manner that causes politicians to fear voting no because that would seem they did not care about the crunch the citizens or voters are feeling.

This Act seized the opportunity to advance their New Green Deal and thereby line the coffers and bank accounts of the elitists and advocates while stripping the citizens of our liberties.  They have become astute at the sleight of hand and the gradual fundamental transformation of our Republic.

One day the well of money will run dry.  They can only tax to a certain limit before we can no longer tolerate it and survive.  When they cross that demarcation line, we will either revolt or become literal slaves of the federal government and subsist on whatever they deem needed.  We will watch euthanasia become practiced as a necessary action, and America will die as the Free Constitutional Republic. 

Those are only a few dangers I see, and I believe it is time and necessary that we return to our moral moorings, biblical roots, and constitutional foundations.  We cannot survive this without God’s help and are not likely to have His divine intervention without returning to our roots and Him.  The choice is ours; what will we decide?

WHEN IMBECILIC RULES…


Someone said, “Joe Biden is an idiot.”  The person they were talking to said, “No, he’s not that smart.”  I am firmly convinced that much of what is happening, though imbecilic, is rooted in the diabolical rather than the lack of measured intelligence.  Some of those pulling the strings are very intelligent, although imbeciles when it comes to reasoned logic.

The border is a crisis!  The fact that this administration has no plan to solve the problem nor a desire to do so screams imbecilic.  Even some of the Democrats are reaching the point of being fed up.  Democrat Representative Henry Cuellar of Texas said, “Look, I believe in immigration, but when is enough, enough?” 

There is no consensus on how many immigrants to grant entry into the USA each year.  There is no common view of how to prioritize those allowed to immigrate or even how to deal with the unknown millions here illegally.  Yet, most, if they are honest in their assessment, know that what we have is not working and is a disaster.  The imbecilic method of handling this situation by the Biden team is dangerous, if not criminal.  It is assuredly an encouragement to lawlessness and beyond incompetence.  Thus, not being smart enough to be an idiot seems apropos.

We have been watching since May 11, 2023, at the impossibility of the task assigned to the border patrol agents.  When Title 42 went away, the impossibility of any semblance of keeping our republic from being overrun by illegals grew exponentially.  Those illegals being processed at the border for illegal entry can only be removed under Title 8, an arduous and lengthy process.  It is eerily akin to evicting a bad tenant.  The illegals or the coyotes know it, and so does this administration. 

Mr. Mayorkas, you insist that everything is under control.  I agree, but the control it is under is the drug cartels and the human trafficking agents flooding our borders with illegals.  It is controlled by those entities and individuals who want to strip America of its sovereignty.  It is not under the control of our law enforcement and border patrol agents.  That is dangerous and incompetent.  It is imbecilic!

Although not an entirely new policy, the Biden administration plans to and is releasing those illegals into the interior of the U.S. with no way to track them.  On May 9, 2023, there were over 11,000 illegals that crossed our southern border.  Where are they?  For the most part, they have been transported to locations in the U.S. with zero chance of tracking them or bringing them to a hearing needed for deportation.  They are here, and here they will stay.

We know from documentation that 79% of the more than 8,000 who cross our borders daily over the past few weeks and months have been released into the U.S.A. under the guise of seeking asylum.  But Mr. Mayorkas insists the border is secure and all is under control.  If you believe that, your intelligence could be a category just below what was previously thought to be the bottom rung on the ladder of intelligence. 

What did the deployment of 1,500 members of our military accomplish?  That is not even one per mile of our 2,000-mile border.  But that is not the issue.  The issue is that the military members deployed do not have the legal authority to determine the citizenship of the migrants (illegals). They are not legally allowed to take sworn statements.  They cannot legally issue Notices to Appear for formal removal hearings.  So, what have we achieved in sending them regardless of the number?

Under Title 42, a border patrol agent could expedite removal and achieve the status in 15 minutes or less but under Title 8; it takes a minimum of an hour, if not more.  We have neither the time nor the manpower to handle that massive workload.  Therefore, as mandated by this administration, what we are seeing and will see is not ‘catch and release’ but ‘ignore and release.’

Those on the Left and some RHINOs in the GOP desire to eradicate our southern border.  They know that a nation without a secure border is not a sovereign nation.  That seems to be the objective, and unfortunately, it is working to help facilitate the ‘fundamental transformation’ expressed as the desire and goal by Barack Obama.

When you couple the border disaster with the corruption, infringement of our rights and liberties, and the shattered economy, some are waking up.  Will it be enough, and will those awakened to the disaster find the courage to cross party lines and oust the Leftists pushing this agenda?  They have not, thus far, and I would like to be more hopeful than I am.  We are in trouble and are allowing the imbecilic to rule, and that is a notch below idiocy. 

The debt ceiling debate is insane.  There is no willingness by the Left even to consider a reduction in spending, yet they demand a blank check to spend, spend, and spend.  That will mean tax, tax, and tax.  Eventually, the government will run out of pathways to fill the federal coffers.  The work ethic is being destroyed, and the imbecilic policy to incentivize slothfulness and lack of productivity is destroying our nation. 

We have known that the FBI was complicit in coverups and attempts to shape and shift elections to advance the toxic liberal agenda.  Now, they are refusing to provide Congress (Republicans) with the requested documents that appear to implicate, if not prove, the corruption of the Bidens and at least one foreign national.  Why?  You are intelligent enough to answer that without my attempt to elaborate.

The FBI should provide Congress with the requested documents if they have nothing to hide.  It is believed that the FBI has been holding and hiding key documents that detail the Biden bribery scheme.  If the FBI whistleblower’s revelation is valid, the FBI is committing a crime in hiding Biden’s criminal behavior and possible treasonous actions. 

There have been nine Bidens implicated in corruption.  Those include Joe’s son, Hunter.  Joe’s brother and sister-in-law.  Hunter’s girlfriend, Beau Biden’s widow, Hunter’s ex-wife, and his current wife.  Three children of the president’s son.  We are talking about family down to grandchildren.  This is so incredible that it must be examined, and if there were no wrongdoing, it would behoove the Biden’s to insist that it be thoroughly investigated and documented. 

The obsession with Donald Trump but the blatant willingness to ignore the Bidens, Obamas, Clintons, and other prominent Democrats is unacceptable.  It is imbecilic to allow it to continue. We have a constitution and are supposedly a republic of laws, so when do we see the constitution followed and the law enforced?  When?  I suspect when hell freezes over, and pigs fly over the unicorns on the Whitehouse lawn.

God help us to realize how far down the tube we are and do everything in our power to rectify this situation.

HAVE WE LOST OUR EVER-LOVING MINDS?


If I were to take the headlines of some news stories, blog posts, and politicians’ declarations, it would prove my title question’s validity.  I am beginning to embrace the reality that our world has gone stark, raving mad, and completely lost touch with reality.  If I did not take it that way, I would be forced to declare that our world has become irreparably diabolical, devious, and nefarious.  I fight to maintain as much optimism as possible.

Let me walk through a few things that cause me to ask this probing and troubling question.  I hope that I am able to link these together in a manner that resonates and elicits enough disturbance to our sensibilities that we pay attention and become involved.  Unfortunately, the time has passed when we could trust the politics to politicians if there ever was a time like that.

One of the more recent mass shootings has uncovered that the shooter, the evil or deranged individual in Louisville, Kentucky committed the crime to get firearms banned.  That is beyond lunacy.  This individual killed multiple people to motivate lawmakers to ban firearms. 

I cannot fathom how any rational person could think it is justifiable to use the tool they believe should be banned to commit murder.  Yet, the Left is trying to oblige and use this incident as a reason to ban firearms.  The shooter’s manifesto, uncovered by the Daily Mail but suppressed by most of the media and ignored by most politicians, revealed the motive.

Motives are always important in addressing problems.  The 13-page manifesto contains material that suggests the shooter believed guns are too easy to obtain and wanted to draw attention to mental illness.  The shooter’s parents revealed he was on medication to prevent him from killing himself.  He was of sound mind, right?  No!  How can you use the lunacy and illogical thinking of someone who is not thinking right to advance your cause for gun control? 

That individual and his heinous act would justify my question, but what really triggers it is the reaction of the Left, Hollywood, and the Media to give him more sympathy than empathy for the victims and their families.  That is either crazy or reveals the depth of our current depravity in America. 

When we give the 15 minutes of fame sought by these murderers, rioters, looters, and purveyors of mayhem, we encourage like behavior in others.  The Left seems to believe many of those acts are justifiable means to an end.  No!  Damaging other people’s property or themselves is not justifiable except in self-defense.

The Louisville shooter’s act was called a deeply fearless act of compassion!  What world does Dr. K. Kritee live in to make that kind of illogical statement?  The fact that the shooter was a Shambhala Buddhist does not make his act compassionate, loving, or fearless.  What I am told about the beliefs of the followers of his religion is that his actions are anathema to what they believe. 

It was not fearless. It was deranged and cowardly.  If you research, you discover that this incident was somewhat of a copycat of another suicidal climate zealot who doused himself with gasoline and burned to death in 2018 in a park in Brooklyn—the New York Times published an article oozing with admiration for his act.  Seriously? 

We live in a world today where there is a massive push to not only allow but encourage transgenderism and sex changes in children.  Those same people insist that 17-19-year-olds are not mature enough to understand the details of their student loans, but a 7-8-year-olds should be allowed, without parental consent to opt for sex change therapy or surgery.  That is a slap in sanity and God’s face! 

There are estimates that biological males who self-identify as female are replacing women in women’s sports!  A homosexual website proudly proclaimed that “20 trans women have won national or international competitions or championships.”  Whoopie!  They could not compete with the men, so they sought to compete with the women.  That is insulting to women everywhere, insulting to men, and insulting to God. 

A transgender weightlifter competed as a woman in the Olympics.  In a London marathon, a transgendered athlete defeated 14,000 female competitors.  Prisons in various states indicate that over 5,000 men identifying as women are incarcerated in federal prisons.  Have we lost our ever-loving minds?  What is going on?  We have reached the place where some churches and national ministers are endorsing this as normal and natural.  It is neither!  It is an abrogation of God’s creation.  He created two genders and did not make a mistake.

I believe that sports are the tip of the iceberg, and this will extend to every sector of our society.  The loss of masculinity will not be a benefit to families, and the result of the absence of either parent in the home is well documented.  Children need nurture and training to be responsible, socially, and relationally healthy, and learn a work ethic needed.  We saw the assault on two-parent families take a big step during the Johnson administration.  We are reaping the harvest of our bad decisions and tolerance.

We have governmental officials engaging in corrupt endeavors designed to build their financial bottom line and gain power and influence.  Most of those are not only overlooked by the DOJ, FBI, Congress, the Courts, and Media.  Suppressing the evidence and attacking those seeking to expose them is creating a fertile field for more of the same.  No, it is creating a condition where the politically powerful will be above the law and the rest of us their serfs.  Have we lost our ever-loving minds?

Joe and Hunter Biden and the Biden Family, as well as the Bill and Hillary Clinton and Barack and Michelle Obama, to name a few, have been deemed insulated by Section 6103 of the IRS Code.  However, Congress violated the Law in releasing Donald Trump’s Tax Returns.  But that was justifiable in their minds.  Section 6103(f)(4) allows the chairman of the Ways and Means Committee and the Finance Committee to designate or appoint an agent to inspect the tax returns and return information.  What does that mean regarding the Bidens? 

The committee, now under Republican control, could appoint the whistleblower’s attorney to inspect the tax material.  That would bring to the fore the information hidden from the public and Congress’s eyes about the dealings of the Bidens and the apparent criminality of Hunter Biden.

Lastly, not the last of what needs to be said, but the last I will state at this time the fallacious claim that all Islam is a Peaceful Religion is another evidence of our modern lunacy.  Just because someone claims to be peaceful, and the desire is to believe them and demonstrate acceptance and tolerance, does not make it so.  Islam’s holy book is replete with demands that they kill, dominate, and subjugate non-followers in any way possible.  Killing the infidel (to them) elevates them in the afterlife. 

Islam has been making inroads into our American government at high levels.  Remember Barak Obama’s statement that sent chills down my spine?  “If the political winds turn sour, I will side with the Muslims.” 

If we let down our guard and ignore danger, it does not mean danger goes away; it means it has free access to achieve its purposes.  That would be like making it illegal to own a firearm, thinking that the criminals would also lay theirs down.  What part of criminal, evil, diabolical, and destructive do they not understand?  You cannot make a non-aggression pact with evil. 

America, if there are any people left who actually think and can see the handwriting on the wall, I pray that you will unite and join those of us praying, working, and seeking to restore sanity to our American government and society.

SOMETIMES THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE PROBLEM…


Yes, I am aware that my title could be viewed as nonsensical.  The problem is always the problem, right?  Sometimes, what is deemed the problem is not the real problem but only superficial.  I believe that is happening in American politics today.

The Left and the Right have a propensity to focus on the superficial because they do not want to address the core issues and find genuine solutions.  The Establishment continually engages in ‘wag the dog’ and ‘sleight of hand.’   They want us to focus on what they want us to focus on, like many magicians.  If they can divert our attention, they can work their magic and achieve their purpose without anyone being aware.

When we become aware and sound the alarm or ‘blow the whistle,’ they call us every derogatory name under heaven and insist that we are engaging in conspiracy theories.  That label causes multitudes to dismiss our contentions and revelations until it is too late to rectify the situation.  I am deeply concerned that we have allowed this ploy by the political elite to push us so near the precipice of destruction that going over the edge is the only likely result.

Some in the GOP are harping that Biden’s age is the problem.  I do not know if they genuinely believe that to be the problem or are engaging in diversion to shield themselves from scrutiny.  As a believer in God and the Bible and a lover of history and freedom, I cannot dismiss the exploits of some very seasoned citizens in the Bible and history.  Age is not my concern – cognitive ability is.

It should be impossible to miss the continual cognitive decline that Joe Biden is experiencing.  His often-bizarre behavior cannot be relegated to Joe being Joe and folksy. I realize that some people are incapable of giving an off-the-cuff speech or even cursorily reading their notes in giving a speech. 

Joe’s inability to read the teleprompter without including the encrypted instructions is important.  His flying off the handle in anger, when challenged, is important.  Those are just a couple of the myriad of things that suggest a severe and progressive cognitive decline in the man.  I empathize with anyone in that condition; it must be hell on earth for them and their loved ones.

Another concern (problem) that cannot be overlooked is the abridgment and avoidance of the Constitution by elected officials, bureaucrats, and even justices.  Our system of republican government is only legitimate ‘with the consent of the people.’  If there is no consent, it loses its claim to legitimacy.  Sadly, both sides of the political aisle have flawed views of the federal government’s scope. 

The history of America is the poster child of the Fight for Freedom!  The colonist in the late 1700s dared to throw off the chains of tyranny because of their conviction that God created us to live in freedom.  The bedrock convictions of our founding were that there was a God (Creator) and that He gave us inalienable (uninfringeable) rights that no government, group, sect, or person had the right to usurp.

We are not without kinks in our armor.  Every action that America has taken has not been righteous and just.  We endured a revolution, a civil war, two World Wars, and many other conflicts and wars.  Amazingly we managed to maintain our reference for the Constitution, the Bible, the family, and moral sanity.  Well, for the most part, we did. 

We were not offended that men would be masculine and women feminine.  We were not threatened by little boys being little boys and little girls being little girls.  We viewed marriage and the family as a wholesome, if not sacred, institution.  We viewed working for what you had not only good but the only acceptable pathway to prosperity.  We respected our elders and were expected to respect the rights and property of others and their right to an opinion.  None of those things threatened us. We viewed them as right and normal.

Today and for more than a decade, there has been the unveiling of the ideology and agenda to achieve cultural sabotage and rewrite our American history.  Those saboteurs have gained a foothold in our educational, political, entertainment, sporting, business, and even religious sectors.  The common view by the indoctrinated is that our history is replete with racism, murder, hate, and inequity.  They have sought to brainwash the young and the ideologically susceptible and cause them to lose sight of who we are.  I weep over that.

We are rapidly finding ourselves under the Iron Curtain of Control, where tyranny, socialism, and the redefinition of America are becoming the definition of who we are.  I reject that, and even with our flaws and failures, we are still a beacon of Hope for the world.  Our Constitutional System of Government is a system that promotes individual liberty and freedom.  Are we still “One nation under God?”   

In this coming presidential election in 2024, age is not an issue for me; purpose is!  The ideological agenda of the party and the candidate are of paramount importance.  The restoration of our American sovereignty and addressing the needs of the citizens are.  Returning to a government by the “consent of the people” is.  Returning to constitutionalism is.  Reducing the debt and deficit is.  Restoring the constitutional checks and balances is. 

We have been moving toward an abdication of our constitutional structure where each branch performs specific roles.  Today, our Legislative Branch has, in a great measure, delegated or ceded its authority to the unaccountable and unelected administrative State.  Having bureaucrats with no amenability to the voters running the government is anathema to the founders’ intent. 

We have a Judicial Branch that has morphed into legislating from the bench and rewriting our laws rather than ruling on their constitutionality.  We have an Executive Branch that, by its actions, advances the idea that it is an Imperial Branch.  That is not “consent of the people.” It is Tyranny!

I have been accused of being extreme regarding resistance to tyranny and obedience to God, the Constitution, and moral sanity.  I do not believe it is extreme to decry the illegitimate authority of the federal government when it refuses to follow the Rule of Law and the Constitution.  I include ignoring biblical precepts and principles, but some find that objectionable and not germane. 

I applaud my home state and every state that takes a stand to secure the border and protect the citizens.  Texas has not only fought the insane open border policy of both Obama and Biden.  Recently the Texas Senate passed a bill to deny the right or ability of citizens of countries that pose a threat to the United States from purchasing farmland.  Bravo, Texas!  That needs to be a national law as well.  Farmland is a national security concern and a survival concern. 

One more quick reflection that concerns me far more than a candidate’s age is the border and the many crimes committed by illegals.  Everyone is aware of the illegal invader in Texas that murdered five Honduran nationals in Cleveland, Texas.  Even the FBI asked, “What was this monster doing in this country?”  I immediately responded, “Ask Joe Biden and the Democrats demanding open borders.”

This individual had been deported FIVE TIMES!  His ability to avoid capture may speak of a network that enabled him to come and do what he did or for other illegal purposes.  It may speak of his knowledge of the system due to his frequent illegal entry into the USA.  His ability to secure a firearm with a criminal record speaks to the ineffectiveness of the gun control demands.  Criminals and the diabolical will get a weapon no matter what laws are passed. 

America, we either unite to demand a return to governance by the “consent of the people” and restore the Constitution as our rule, or we will cease to be America as we know it.  In a measure, the decision is up to us.  We may not be able to attain that goal through voting alone. Still, we must begin the process of evicting from office all those who advance any governmental and ideological agenda that is not based on the Constitution and the “consent of the people.”   What will we do?

THE VALUE AND NEED FOR FREEDOM OF SPEECH…


Some view me as somewhat of a broken record, continually discussing the assault on our liberties, freedoms, and inalienable rights.  Others consider me a conspiracy theorist and alarmist and have disassociated themselves from me, saying I am too extreme. 

I have those who laugh at those charges and say, “Roy is not extreme enough.”  Your opinion of me depends on your preference, position, and worldview.  But I am not the subject; the issues confronting all of us are.  I am just a voice, albeit sometimes I feel like a lone voice.  But, when I get into that mindset, I am reminded of the prophet Elijah, lamenting to God that he was the only one left.  God said, “Sorry, son, but I have 7,000 here who have not bowed their knee to Baal.”  Sometimes, I need that reminder. 

Are our days numbered as the Free Constitutional Republic formed by our Founding Fathers?  Have we become so intimidated by the potential charges hurled at those who dare not march to the politically correct drummer?  Have we become so obsessed with tolerance that we have abandoned reason, conviction, and foundational understanding of the Bible and the Constitution?  Have we willingly checked our freedoms at the door of the fact-checkers, PC police, and governmental activists?  Have we lost sight of the danger and damage doing so can produce?

It is time to press the Freedom of Speech issue and insist on an open, honest, and thoughtful discussion.  The level of censorship we have endured for the past few years should be profoundly disconcerting to all lovers of freedom.  It should cross political party lines and resonate with every American who wants to have what our Declaration of Independence recognized and sought – “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.” 

In today’s politically correct WOKE world, the various arms of the federal government are used to investigate, intimidate, and eliminate any who would dare question the ideological and actual pursuits of the followers of toxic liberalism.  That should cause the hair on the back of every American to stand up and should cause concern.  The fact that it does not seem to bother many and is even applauded by some is doubly frightening to this American.

If one suggests that the government is corrupt, they are immediately placed on the watch or hit list of the various federal agencies and bureaucracies.  I recently heard a preacher tell how all his bank accounts were frozen because the FBI was investigating everyone who used credit cards during the January 6th timeframe.  He had to submit to a line-by-line audit of every item of expenditures and justify them.   Even a bank vice president investigated and could not explain why it happened and why the overreach occurred.  That VP is a Christian and has left the bank over excessive aggression toward anyone questioning the Left’s position.

The government today seeks to quash all reports and facts that expose corruption. They have even been guilty of planting seeds of false narratives to damage the truth and confuse the public.  The media has been complicit.  I do not like false narratives, regardless of which side of the political or ideological equation they come from.  Truth should be our objective, and the freedom to discuss everything, and I mean everything, must be protected.

If one questioned Dr. Fauci and the veracity of the information he, the WHO, the CDC, and the government presented, they were labeled as anything but human beings.  They hated grandma, hated, women, children, ethnicities, and more.  The government’s censorship arm shifted into high gear and did everything possible to silence all who questioned their actions.  We were called kooks, right-wing conspiracists, racists, homophobes, etc.  The names and labels attached to our dissent are almost endless.

When the government has incentivized groups who bury the truth, the need for freedom of speech is exemplified prolifically.  When the claim that the candidate the power brokers wanted to win did not, it was deemed plausible that foreign manipulation was the cause.  If you challenged that, you were silenced in whatever way possible.  There were threats of IRS investigation, descending 501-C-3 status, revoking government contracts, and crippling private enterprise. 

Social Media rapidly became a censoring arm of the federal government and the toxic liberal agenda and WOKEISM.  Our republic was established on recognition and protection of citizens’ inalienable rights.  That ship has sailed for those seeking to control speech, thought, activity, spending, and travel.  For the most rabid of that ideological philosophy, it is “Comply or Die!”  The latter seems to be their preference, and they are no longer satisfied with trying to intimidate; they want to eliminate.

If we do not resurrect the open debate regarding Freedom of Speech, we will soon see the Conglomerate of Censorship entities quash all unauthorized speech.  That is not the United States of America as founded but will be like every despotic regime where the Thought Police are actively monitoring all speech.  

I am not sure whom to credit with this, but I believe it is apropos, “Without freedom of thought, there can be no such thing as wisdom; and no such thing as public liberty, without Freedom of Speech.”  The First Amendment had more than a dual purpose but was at least dual in the reasons for its inclusion.  The founders wanted to ensure that the federal government would NEVER be able to infringe upon religious freedom and to guarantee that the government would not establish a state-sponsored church. 

The clergy was among the most influential, and their advice was the most sought after by our founders.  The founders understood that morality and religion were necessary ingredients to have a stable society.  James Madison’s clarion cry should resonate with each of us.  He said, “The people shall not be deprived or abridged of their right to speak, to write, or to publish their sentiments; and the freedom of the press, as one of the great bulwarks of liberty, shall be inviolable.” 

They also wanted to ensure that the government WOULD NEVER be able to prevent people from discussing issues.  After all, had they not had open debate, they would never have arrived at the consensus required for the American Constitution and our System of Government.  They did not want the government to be granted the ability to quash discussion.  They wanted the public to have the freedom (a healthy requirement) to speak openly about issues of concern they had with the government.  It was considered the lynchpin for continued freedom as a republic.

America, we either protect Freedom of Speech, or we will witness the disappearance of all our inalienable rights.  We must press this issue, make it a public forum, and require all politicians to address it.  If they support the suppression of this Freedom, we must not allow them to attain the office they seek.  Our Freedom depends on our faithfulness to this cause.

THE DIVIDE IS WIDE – Can We Survive?


On Memorial Day 2023, I would like to have written an article on the sacrifices and the value of those sacrifices. However, I feel compelled to write something else. Happy Memorial Day, and Never Ever Forget the Sacrifices or be Thankful!

I do not want to be a Gloom & Doom Prognosticator, but neither do I want to bury my head in the sand or somewhere and ignore the issues prevalent in today’s America and world.  I want to be a realist with an optimistic view because of my faith in God.  I want to be pragmatic and take a practical approach to life’s problems and benefits.

We are a deeply divided people.  Saying that makes me Mr. Obvious to some, but it is a starting place to consider the problems and potential solutions we are facing today.  It is imperative that we admit there is a problem.  Failure to acknowledge the divide and the issues resulting from that condition is to doom us to even greater divisiveness and the fruit of the vitriolic hate that it embodies and advances. 

Those exposed to modern propaganda through our educational system, media, Hollywood, entertainment, and failures by the Church to address some basic principles of life are both victims and causes.  I do not want to throw all Millennials and Gen Z-ers under the bus and on the trash heap of life. 

Yet, the reality of being a follower of the modern philosophers of WOKISM and Entitlement is being viewed negatively collectively.  I saw a survey of 1,300 managers who opined that 3 out of 4 of the Gen Z crowd are harder to work with than any other group.  Why?  To find a resolution, we have first to determine the reason.   Those managers said that the issues with the Gen Z crowd are so extreme that they have to fire them more often than any other group.  The percentage of companies that agreed was 65.  That is disturbing.

Many in the work world have lamented that poor communication skills are one of the biggest problems with the Gen Z crowd.  If you use run-on unpunctuated sentences, emojis, and acronyms as your base communication, switching gears is difficult if you have another gear.  Many employers affirm that this younger group lacks professionalism and office decorum.  Many have never been exposed to demands for productivity, and dealing with an office hierarchy is beyond their scope of understanding. 

Unlike previous generations, this new generation of workers fails to grasp the concept that they are expected to do what they are told in the workplace.  They believe they are entitled to not being offended by anything; for some, work and performance expectations offend them.

To be fair, they are not the only ones, and the problem is growing more pronounced with each passing year of governmental subsistence to buy their support.  If it is more economically beneficial to sit on your gluteus maximus than to work, why work?  Hey, if everybody is supposed to have an equal share of the pie, regardless of investment or work, then why not be difficult?  Demand what you believe to be yours.  It is not to be earned but deserved, so stand your ground, right?  (I am being sarcastic.)

As we enter the next electoral cycle, we are in grave danger of enhancing our own destruction by ignoring some real problems and dangers.  Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President, warned us of the threat of fundamental transformation that politicians and outside influences seek.

He said: “At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected?  I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us.  It cannot come from abroad.  If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher.  As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.”

One of the gravest dangers to the survivability of the Republic is those within the government who are implementing policies of destruction and shredding our ability to live free.  I do not mean to make this a campaign speech extolling the virtues of a Donald Trump presidency.  However, some things transpired from the outset of his first bid to become the nominee and president.

He had no sooner announced his candidacy than the Democrats, Media, Establishment, and RHINOs went on the attack.  We were told he was a maniacal lunatic that would endanger our American Democracy.  He would plunge us into nuclear war and destroy our economy. (None of which happened.)  What has transpired under the Biden administration has shuddered our economy, divided the nation more along multiple lines, and pushed us nearer nuclear war than we have witnessed in a long time.

Tyranny is a universal threat to any nation.  The despotic tyrants of history have all been ruthless.  They have all sought to strip the citizens of all rights and subjugate them to subservience.  They sought to strip them of any reasonable ability to defend themselves and advance their pursuit of a better life.  They have all sought to destroy religious liberty and evict God from the public square.  Censorship was the norm, not the exception.

Love or hate him, Donald Trump did not seek to destroy our religious liberty.  He sought to protect it, unlike the current administration.  Our economy was the most robust in decades; it has gone into the proverbial tank in less than two years.  He sought to put America and the interest of the American people before that of other nations, the exact opposite of this administration. 

We witnessed the restoration of America’s position of influence in the world, and our enemies once again feared us and tempered their aggressions.  Today, that has vanished, and like the Obama administration’s legacy, we are no longer feared but often the laughingstock of the nations.  Paper tigers are never feared nor respected.  We must, once again, be willing to speak softly and carry a big stick.  If we allow the drift or push toward tyranny and globalism, we will see our greatest fear come to fruition, and the desired fundamental transformation will transpire.   

However, I refuse to be that negative and focus solely on what is wrong.  I choose to place my trust and confidence in God and the God-fearing of the American people.  I choose to cling to the hope that America’s patriots and those who love freedom and believe in the Republic’s Constitutional authority will overcome their personal biases and unite to see restoration.  Without a miracle of God, it will not transpire in one election or possibly ten, but it can become a reality, and there remains hope in my heart.

We have outside threats, but they pale compared to those from within.  However, those within who are linked to the Chicoms are vigorously working as enablers of a foreign takeover of dominance.  We always have choices, and choices have consequences or benefits.

America, it is time for those of us who are believers in God, the Bible, and followers of Jesus Christ to embrace and implement the directive and solution found in 2 Chronicles 7:13-14.  We must humble ourselves before we are humiliated and humbled by outside forces.  We must pray intercessory prayers, realizing that we are talking about life or death nationally and maybe personally.  We must become seekers of God, giving our total allegiance to Him, and acknowledging our need for Him.  We must reject and turn from evil individually and nationally. 

God’s promise is to help us, pouring in the healing balm that is desperately needed. He promised to forgive our failures (sins) and heal us and our land.  He promised to keep His watchful eye on us and, as Psalm 91 declares, provide us with the protection we need.  I ask that you join me and the millions of people who are so inclined.  It is, effectively, in our hands.  We need divine help, not political wrangling!

WHAT, WHY, HOW, and WHO – Behind the Scenes Regarding Religious Freedom.


As a Christian, a natural-born American citizen, a patriot, a believer in the Constitution, a Vietnam Veteran, and a father and grandfather, I am deeply concerned about the trend of attacking Religious Liberty in America! 

I have asked myself and others, why? Who is behind it?  I ask, what is happening? How is it being facilitated, and what is the methodology being used?  I am more than a little concerned; I am moved enough to sound the alarm as loudly as possible and everywhere possible. 

The directive God gave Ezekiel is relevant for today and resonates with me.  I try not to self-identify as anything other than a child of God and a Christian.  I hope the fruit of that is evident, and I need not belabor the issue.  However, I do feel that God has called me to be a Watchman.  That is not to elevate me, but to indicate His love for humanity and wants us to stand in the gap, seek to salvage lives, and even protect nations for His purposes. 

God told Ezekiel that if he saw the danger, he was to sound the alarm and give a warning.  If he failed to do so, the blood of those who perished would be on his hands.  If he did and they rejected the warning, it was on them, and if they received it, they would be spared.  I believe God is calling many today to stand up and speak up for what is right and good and fight the good fight of faith. 

Some insist that as a preacher and a Christian, I must not be involved in politics, but since politics is life and I am a living being and involved in life, how can I not be involved, invested, and interested?  In our American Constitution, the First Amendment, our Founders sought to ensure that the government would NEVER infringe upon our religious rights and freedoms.

The interpretation of that amendment and expressed view of the Founders has morphed into protecting the government from religion.  That is not the declaration or the purpose of the protection in the Constitution.  It was not to keep all religious views out of government but to keep the meddling hands of government out of the church and religion.  It was to prevent the government from imposing its interpretation of religious thought upon the citizens. 

When we allowed God to be evicted from our public schools, government, and the public square, we invited what we have today.  Without fully embracing the gloom and doom view and scream the sky is falling, I sound the alarm.  Religious Freedom is under attack today in America.  Yet, the reality is that this is not new but has been transpiring historically since our inception as a nation.  It has been happening in the world since the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.  It is as old as man!  When Lucifer rebelled, it began and has not ceased.

It is verifiable that the number of violent attacks on churches and religious groups is increasing.  Protesters and rioters are either openly being encouraged or via subliminal messaging and suggestions to engage in that type of activity.  That is troubling, and the guilty should be held accountable.

The Biden administration, possibly to a greater extent than any previous, is waging war on our religious freedoms.  Why?  What is the motive?  How are they doing this?   Sadly, with the shift in the view of the courts and many in America regarding the so-called wall of separation between church and state, they are allowed to do so with impunity. 

The Biden administration has recently begun moving toward revocation of the Religious Liberty and Free Inquiry Rule, making it more difficult for campus religious groups to exercise their religious liberties.  Why?  I cannot answer that exhaustively, maybe only exhaustingly, but one reason is that religious thought counters the ideological rhetoric and agenda the Left desires to advance.  It reinforces views of the traditional family, gender, morality, and biblically!

Politicians and the diabolical know they will lose footing and power if they allow biblical, morality, and true science to counter their arguments and agenda.  If people are allowed to think and hear the truth, they will reject the distortions of those following the toxic liberal globalist agenda.  Thinking people are a threat to totalitarianism, globalism, and toxic liberalism.

America’s religious freedoms are under attack more than ever in our history! It has been documented that in 2015 there were 1,285 attacks on religion. That was double what transpired in 2012.  Several groups were targeted, including Christians, Jews, and those of Native American faith. 

Kelly Shackelford, president, CEO, and chief counsel of First Liberty, said, “Hostility to religion in America is rising like floodwaters…The flood is engulfing ordinary citizens who simply try to live normal lives according to their faith and conscience.  It is eroding the bedrock on which stand vital American institutions such as government, education, the military, business, house of worship, and charity.”   He continued and warned, “It has the potential to wash away the ground that supports our other rights, including freedom of speech, press, assembly, and government by the consent of the people.”  I agree!

If we lose and continue to fail to protect our religious freedom, we will watch the nefarious followers of totalitarianism and globalism fully achieve the fundamental transformation of our republic.  We will discover that our inalienable and previously believed untouchable rights have been infringed and rescinded.  The government will have effectively replaced God (not literally but legally), and we will be forced to comply or face the full brunt of the power of the government to suppress us.  That is not the Republic for which we stand!  That is not the Republic created and established by our Founders.  That is not a biblical view that any believer can embrace.

Religious freedom and living according to one’s core convictions were precious to our Founders.  Let me remind you of something that predates the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.  One year before the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Continental Congress passed a resolution exempting individuals with pacifist religious convictions from military conscription.

“As there are some people, who, from religious principles, cannot bear arms in any case, this Congress intend no violence to their consciences, but earnestly recommend it to them, to contribute liberally in this time of universal calamity, to the relief of their distressed brethren in the several colonies, and to do all other services to their oppressed Country, which they can consistently with their religious principles.”

I cite that to declare that our Founders believed one of the most sacred rights was one’s core convictions or religious beliefs.  They understood and held a deep reverence for our inalienable rights and recognized that there was a Creator, and He gave rights that no human government had the authority to tamper with.  Today, that ship sailed long ago, and those in power believe they and they alone have that power.  They are wrong!

Fearing that I am being too lengthy, I must cite two more references and conclude.  In 1789 George Washington, in a letter to the United Baptists in Virginia, promised that he would fight the efforts of the government to threaten religious liberties.  He wrote:  “If I could have entertained the slightest apprehension that the Constitution framed in the Convention, where I had the honor to preside, might possibly endanger the religious rights of any ecclesiastical Society, certainly I would never have placed my signature to it; and if I could now conceive that the general Government might ever be so administered as to render the liberty of conscience insecure, I beg you will be persuaded that no one would be more zealous than myself to establish effectual barriers against the horrors of spiritual tyranny, and every species of religious persecution—For you, doubtless, remember that I have often expressed my sentiment, that every man, conducting himself as a good citizen, and being accountable to God alone for his religious opinions, ought to be protected in worshipping the Deity according to the dictates of his own conscience.”

Previously in 1785, in his Memorial and Remonstrance Against Religious Assessments, James Madison wrote: “The Religion then of every man must be left to the conviction and conscience of every man, and it is the right of every man to exercise it as these may dictate. This right is in its nature an unalienable right…. It is the duty of every man to render to the Creator such homage and such only as he believes to be acceptable to him. This duty is precedent, both in order of time and in degree of obligation, to the claims of Civil Society…. [T]he equal right of every citizen to the free exercise of his Religion according to the dictates of conscience is held by the same tenure with all our other rights. If we recur to its origin, it is equally the gift of nature; if we weigh its importance, it cannot be less dear to us….”

Why are Joe Biden and the Left so hell-bent on destroying our religious freedoms?  I can only speculate, except where they have been open.  I believe it is an admission that they realize that religious freedom, thought, and speech impede their ability to control.  Therefore, it is imperative that we, as Americans, vote out all who hold the views of those who want all religious freedom squashed.  If we lose any of our inalienable rights, we are in danger of losing them all.
