LET ME REHASH THIS ISSUE AND ASK, “IS A CASHLESS AND PAPERLESS SOCIETY A GOOD THING?”

For those of you who adamantly affirm YES, I ask you to allow me a few minutes to interject some questions.  For those who adamantly insist the answer is NO, I ask for the same consideration.

If I based my concerns solely on the biblical prospect of the Mark of the Beast and some digital and technological mark required to buy and sell, I would automatically align with the “Naysayers” on this issue.  On the other hand, if I were to look at it from a convenience standpoint solely, I would align with the “Supporters.”  I believe many factors in this issue should be considered, including cybersecurity or the lack thereof, as well as cybercrime, which is rampant in today’s technological world.

In 2024, we have reached a technological point where our entire homes can be managed with technology. We can track anything or anyone using a smartphone and a computer. We have camera technology, where a picture from a satellite in outer space can give incredible detail of something on the ground. We are rapidly moving toward “driverless” or “autonomous” automobiles, where we get in, sit down, and pay no attention to the road or what is happening around us, as we often do in airplanes.

Robotics in medicine allows surgeons to accomplish tasks with precision before unheard of, and technological advances allow doctors to see a 360-degree view of the human body without any invasion.  The world of technology is truly amazing, and I am often like a fish out of the water as I am exposed to it.  My grandchildren are much more comfortable in that world than I, and many I know have virtually forgotten how to write a check.  In the 21st Century, we are rapidly becoming a cashless and paperless society, so again, I ask, “Is that a good thing?”

I recently saw a report about cyber breaches in private companies, some of which expose millions of citizens to identity theft.  The breaches, often underreported, if reported at all, are disturbing within our federal government.  This report indicated that in the fiscal year 2016, the federal government reported 30,899 information-security incidents (nice spin on what happened), and sixteen went beyond the threshold of being a Major Incident.

That has increased exponentially in 2024. That does not include the many breaches in state or local governments’ networked systems. There is no magic fix for this problem, and as an I.T. friend of mine said, “If it is software-driven, it is hackable.”

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) spotlighted the inadequacy of our federal government’s defense against cyber-attacks. It is readily apparent that every governmental agency needs to step up its defenses. If you remember the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) breach in 2015, you remember that Chinese hackers stole twenty-two million personnel records.

A second report released in September 2017 revealed that many government agencies continued to be unprepared and lacking in defenses against such crimes. Are they better prepared today? Reports indicate no!  We were told that at least twenty-one governmental agencies continued to be incredibly weak in the five major categories for information-security control: access, configuration management, segregation of duties, contingency planning, and agency-wide security management.  Could I inquire, “How safe does your information feel?”

Let me walk through some of the incidents dating back to November 2016.  The Department of the Navy discovered that a laptop containing the names and social security numbers of 134,386 current and former sailors was compromised.  The laptop belonged to a Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services employee who was a Navy contractor.  WOW!

In December 2016, we were told that the Election Assistance Commission (EAC) discovered a Russian-speaking hacker seeking to sell more than one hundred potentially compromised credentials of the EAC database.   Some of them had administrative credentials, and the hacker, calling himself “Rasputin,” had no known connection to the government agency, so it was an outside job.

This hacker later attempted to sell access to many state and federal agencies even though the government could not identify the hack.  That is comforting, isn’t it?   In January 2017, the Department of Defense (DOD), in conjunction with HackerOne – a bug bounty platform – initiated a series of “Hack the Pentagon” campaigns and was able to access an internal DOD network.  That does not speak well of our security.

In March and April 2017, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the National Security Agency (NSA) acknowledged that any classified information released by those agencies should be held in question due to hacking.  We dare not omit the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), where over 100,000 individuals had their taxpayer information compromised. Until the tool was turned off, hackers filed over 8,000 fraudulent applications and stole $30 MILLION from our government.

To extrapolate further, we know there are continuing issues in the Departments of Labor, Securities and Exchange Commission, State, Energy, Homeland Security, Defense, the U.S. Postal Service, National Institutes of Health, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac. One has to ask, “Just How Safe Are We?”

The FDIC was hacked by Chinese government agents between 2010 and 2013. The U.S. Forces Korea and the Republic of Korea Armed Forces acknowledged that the North Koreans stole joint U.S.-ROK wartime operation plans. I feel so secure knowing this!

Those are just a few of the myriad Hacks or Security Breaches that have occurred over the past few years. The federal government, Credit Reporting Agencies, local banks, and financial institutions all have major issues.

That demands the question, “Is a Cashless and Paperless Society a Good Thing?”  I have long been skeptical about putting more information online than is absolutely required and have incredible trepidation at putting my bank account number, credit card numbers, and social security number online.

I visited a doctor’s office some time back, and the form they had me fill out included my social security number. When the lady at the computer input the information, she threw the document in the trash—not in the shredding bin, but in the Trash!  I saw it and immediately demanded she return the paper to me.  I worked as a fraud investigator for a major credit card company and know how easily identity thieves can gain more than enough information to make life miserable for us.  Can we be 100% Safe?

NO!  Not unless we never open a credit account, use no computer technology, have no smartphones, and pay for everything in cash.  Since that is not practical for most or even possible, we are exposed to it.  If we have a cashless society and someone hacks your profile, you can be penniless instantly, and you may never recover.  We cannot depend on government, financial institutions, businesses, or even our anti-virus software to protect us.  Am I being paranoid?  Possibly, but the caviler attitude some have with their personal information troubles me.

From a Christian perspective, I oppose this technological move because I see how it can evolve into a ready tool for the Man of Sin to impose his havoc economically on our world. You may think that what I’ve written identifies me as a person possessed by Fear, but I argue that identifying reality does not mean being fearful but cautious, and if we are to be good stewards, we should be aware.

Can we prevent a cashless and paperless society from becoming a reality? NO! It is coming, but we need to find as many ways to protect ourselves as possible. The government is not our protector and often poses as great a danger as any thief.

I have delved back several years and assert that the problem is not better but worse today. That should be a warning to each of us of the dangers of adopting a ‘Cashless Society’ or any system that allows hackers and the government to intercept everything we do and steal from us with ease.

God bless you, and God bless America. That is my prayer!

NOTE TO THE AMERICAN VOTER: “If You Believe This… Then…”

I truly hope my title got your attention. The obvious questions are, “If you believe what? Then what?”   Let me follow two streams of political ideology, convictions, beliefs, and desires for America and suggest you vote accordingly based on what you believe or desire for this nation.

As surprising as it may sound, it is not rocket science.  Some argue that it is far more complicated than I will suggest; it is not!   We sometimes complicate and placate within our minds to justify the clouding of personal responsibility and the seriousness of what the nation is facing.  However, it isn’t complicated, and where we stand on the various issues reveals much about us and our personal view of the Republic called the United States of America.

Postulation Number One:

  • If you believe that America is an evil nation because of her past sins and must be revised, reformed, and transformed into a Progressive, socialist, Leftist nation with no borders, then vote Democrat.
  • If you believe that America should be more concerned with illegals than American citizens, children of legal citizens, and our military, then vote Democrat.
  • If you believe that it is your right to expect “redistribution of wealth” earned and amassed by others, then vote Democrat.
  • If you believe that everyone should be forced to comply with the wishes of various ethnic or life preference groups regardless of that person’s convictions, then vote Democrat.
  • If you believe that rights come from government rather than, as our founders believed, from our Creator, then vote Democrat.
  • If you believe that the rich are inherently evil and should be forced to pay for your lifestyle disproportionately rather than everyone paying a proportional share of the expenses of government, then vote Democrat.
  • If you believe that you should receive welfare, entitlements, education, cell phones, houses, vehicles, and healthcare at the expense of those who work and pay taxes while you do not, then vote Democrat.
  • If you believe that there should be no borders, thus destroying our national sovereignty, leaving our citizens subject to harm and danger from unvetted immigrants entering this nation, and support the ideology that we are “citizens of the world,” then vote Democrat.

I could add many more things, but you get the picture.  But if you believe those things and the ideological agenda of the Democrats, then by all means, vote for them.

Postulation Number Two:

  • If you believe that America was founded on sound principles and agree with our Founders and Framers that “all are created equal and have certain inalienable rights, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” you cannot vote Democrat; your most viable option is to vote Republican.
  • If you believe that we should put America first before fretting over the status of illegals, then you cannot vote Democrat; your most viable option is to vote for the Republican.
  • If you believe, as many of our Founders and the Bible declare, that if a person “will not work, they should not eat” and are opposed to the generational, professional lifestyle of “Entitlement Living,” then you cannot vote. Your most viable option is to vote for the Republican.
  • If you believe that what a person earns, amasses, or inherits is theirs and that Property Rights are among the most sacred Rights of Americans, then you cannot vote Democrat. Your most viable option is to vote for the Republican.
  • If you believe that the Free Market System (Capitalism) affords the most viable opportunity for anyone and everyone to succeed economically and Socialism is the antithesis of what America is all about, then you cannot vote Democrat. Your most viable option is to vote for the Republican.
  • If you believe that everyone should be subject to the law, including politicians and citizen representation, rather than professional elitism in politics, then you cannot vote for the Democrat; your most viable option is to vote for the Republican.

Of course, I could add many other things to the list, but for the sake of brevity, I will move on.

Some are so devotedly Democrat or Republican that they vote unquestioningly for the (D) or the (R) behind the candidate’s name without vetting the candidate and discovering what they stand for, if anything.  Others insist that the Democrats and Republicans are peas in the same pod; the only difference is the (D) or the (R).  I contend that this is not entirely accurate, although there are many similarities, and the establishment of both parties’ desires is much the same thing.

However, there are historical and factual differences on which we can focus.  No candidate is a Saint; each of them has kinks in their armor and flaws in their character.  If we allow personality or physical appearance to determine our vote, then we abdicate our American responsibility of choosing the persons to represent us who are the most likely to advance our ideological beliefs and preferences.

The Democrats historically and factually have opposed virtually every “Tax Cut” for the last 50 years and are the Party of Entitlements and Spending.  They have never seen a Tax Increase they did not like and continually fan the flames of hate, division, discord, and distrust.

The Republicans have advanced the desire to Cut Taxes on everyone, which is good for everyone. The Trump Tax Bill demonstrated the distortions, fears, and lies of the Left about evil corporations hoarding money rather than helping our economy. Four years ago, we were seeing jobs and economic investments transpiring at an amazing rate, and from some sources, we might not have expected it.

Some Democrat Liberal Leftist economists now admit this was good for the economy.  Republicans, on platform, desire to secure, protect, and defend the individual rights of all, not the rights of a select few.  They have demonstrated a willingness to advance the cause of the underprivileged and defend the defenseless, including that child in the womb.

Ideologically, the parties are not the same, although individual members of the parties may be.  This is another reason to Prune the Bad Fruit and why I would support Term Limits.

We can allow our distrust and distaste for particular politicians and the government to cause us to withhold our vote in the elections, thereby perpetuating the problem.  We can determine that we are going to fight to the finish in our effort and drive to “Reclaim and Restore” the Republic by voting enough of the Establishment Parasites from office that we can begin the process of dismantling the Deep State and draining the D.C. Swamp.

The task is monumental, and it will not be easy or quick, but if you believe that America is a prize worth fighting for and that we, the people, are the true owners of government constitutionally, then it is imperative that we enlist truly constitutional and preferably conservative candidates to run for office, work to get them elected, and then demand that they do what they were elected to do.

It is imperative that we become teachers, teaching our children the value of personal involvement in government and the consequences of apathy. It is imperative that we refuse to be silent. Although I do not suggest that everyone become a political activist, I do suggest that everyone become aware, concerned, and involved to the level and degree possible as they pursue their vocations and professions.

This is our America, and what happens to her, in a very real sense, depends on us. The question is, “What do you believe, and what will you do about it?”

God bless you, and God bless America. This is my prayer and desire!

ARE WORDS JUST WORDS?

Today, we are inundated with the outrageousness of redefining terms.  Words and terms clearly understood for generations, if not centuries are being transformed to mean what the translators desire to facilitate their ideological agenda.

That fact causes me to ask, “Are words just words without meaning, or are they indicators of character, attitude, agenda, and ideology?”   Do words mean anything today?    To answer that, I suppose it would depend on the environment, the people to whom they are being spoken, and by whom they are uttered.

Words that were innocuous decades ago are not termed evidence of a phobic condition needing immediate reeducation or eradication.  If you disagree with the followers of toxic liberalism, you are deemed to be suffering from some phobia.  To those offended, you are worse than Genghis Khan or Jeffery Dahmer if you use non-threatening terms from bygone eras.  You are on equal footing with Lucifer of the Bible and unworthy of the air you breathe.

If I express my belief that the religion of Islam is anything but peaceful, I am attacked with extreme hate and vitriol and deemed to be Islamophobic.  On the contrary, if they trash Christianity, they are considered within their rights, and their Free Speech is protected and defended.  If I express my belief in traditional marriage between one man and one woman, I am deemed to be homophobic, but if they criticize my beliefs, they are considered heroic and brave.  If I do not want my grandchildren or any children to be exposed to things that would harm their psyche, I am a transphobe, but if they attack my position, they are within their rights and misunderstood.

Therefore, I must ask, “What do words mean today?”  The use of the race card and the term racist is almost meaningless today because it is incredibly one-sided.   If we do not bow at the altar of the shrine of the Politically Correct and acquiesce to the demands of Antifa, BLM, or other activist groups, we are declared racist.  If you question the wisdom of allowing the border to be eradicated, you are a xenophobe and unfeeling to the needs of those less fortunate.

I have been informed that I am considered to be a White Supremacist because I am a Caucasian male who is a Christian and conservative.   Joseph Goebbels said, “The bigger the lie, said often enough, becomes the truth.”   Entomology, psychology, and the Bible all reveal that words have meaning.  Rational people understand that words must be taken in context.   Words taken out of context can be twisted to mean anything.

Let me offer a few pertinent quotes from the Book of Books, the Bible:

Matthew 12:37 – “Your very words will be used as evidence, and your words will declare you innocent or guilty.”  TPT

Proverbs 18:21 – “Your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences.”  TPT

Proverbs 29:20 – ‘There is only one person that is worse than a fool: the impetuous one who speaks without thinking first.”  TPT

Proverbs 13:3 – “Guard your words, and you’ll guard your life, but if you don’t control your tongue, it will ruin everything.”  TPT

Luke 6:45 – “The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of his heart his mouth speaks.”  “People are known in this same way.  Out of the virtue stored in their hearts, good and upright people will produce good fruit.  Likewise, out of the evil hidden in their hearts, evil ones will produce evil.  For the overflow of what has been stored in your heart will be seen by your fruit and will be heard in your words.” TPT

The frequently used tactic of ‘demonization’ is a staple of the followers of today’s toxic liberal ideology.  It seeks to define the person they target as being inherently diabolical and evil.  The objective is to delegitimize their opponent and their position.   It is to disallow any dissent and views freedom of speech and thought anathema.

The Bible is deemed to be hate speech by those on the Left who seek to remove any biblical influence from the public square.  If you quote the Bible, you are thought to be overcome by some phobic condition and are a member of the society of deplorables.

I cannot ignore the feeling of dismay I experienced over those in America celebrating the terrorism conducted by Hamas and other terrorist groups.  The slaughter of innocent children, babies, and women is unconscionable and should be loudly condemned by all.  Some of those celebrating also insist that there was no Holocaust and that Hitler was simply a leader advancing a philosophy that was in the best interest of his country.  That is astounding!

There is a video of CAIR Executive Directory Nihad Awad celebrating the terrorism of October 7th.  He said, “I was happy to see the people of Gaza break the siege on October 7; they were victorious; the people of Gaze have the right to self-defense – Israel does not.”  What?  To launch an attack and brutally murder, rape, behead people while destroying property is laudable but to respond is untenable?  That is beyond lunacy.

Words are important, which is what the Constitution comprises – WORDS!   Words with specific meanings and intents were used to formulate the system of government defined in that document.  Therefore, when the judicial nominee of Joe Biden, Sara E. Hill, pledged to “ignore” Oklahoma’s abortion laws and blatantly lied about it to Congress, we have a problem.

For example, when Ms. Hill was questioned by the Senate, Senator Kennedy (R-LA) asked her to explain the difference between a “stay order” and an “injunction.”   She could not answer the question and finally responded, “I’m not sure that I actually can give you the – uh – that.”  Wow!   Those words have specific meanings, and any law student completing the first year of law school knows the answer.

We are so steeped in identity politics and activism that our courts are almost meaningless and are rapidly becoming nothing more than political arms advancing an agenda.  That is not what our court system was designed to be, nor what we should be willing to allow.

In addition, the modification and redefining of terms are causing us to endure the twisting of science to advance a lie.  That twist is endangering millions of our children.  The lie that a person is born a homosexual is advanced and believed by those of that community and some on both sides of the social, moral, and political aisle.

I was impressed by an ex-lesbian, Robin Goodspeed’s declaration: “I was not born a homosexual. I was not ‘born that way.’  There is no scientific proof, or proof of any kind, that homosexuals are ‘born that way.”  I was sexually molested at the age of two, and I began making choices at that age that led to a life of homosexuality.  I chose that life, and I clung desperately to the lie that I was ‘born that way’ so I would never be held accountable for my choices.”

Walt Heyer, a former transgender, was asked if transgenders are ‘born that way.’  He said: “There is no evidence that transgenders are ‘born that way.’  There is, however, evidence that they are suffering from untreated mental disorders such as bipolar disorder, dissociative disorder, separation anxiety, schizophrenia, and personality disorder.”

Christian minister Janet Boynes opened up about her abusive childhood and the reality that she did not fit the cookie-cutter image of what a woman should be.  She chose to become involved in lesbian relationships.  She wrote: “When I was living in homosexuality, I knew I was sinning.  The Bible told me, my conscience told me, and many people in my life told me.  Unfortunately, I also had many people telling me that what I was doing was simply a lifestyle choice and not a sin. … My own experience as a former lesbian leads me to believe that many in the homosexual community are searching for love and acceptance. …  I desperately needed to find love, to feel loved, and to experience love.”

What does this have to do with words?  Everything, because we seek to define terms based on what we want them to mean.  When children are inundated with theories of gender confusion, they seek to redefine male and female.  They redefine marriage.  They redefine life and search for something meaningful to alleviate their confusion and frustration. What they need is absolute truth.   What tool is being used to confuse the confused – “Words.” Words that are redefined and reoriented to achieve an agenda.

Do words mean anything anymore?   Yes, if we are seekers of truth.  No, if we only desire to advance an ideology.  Words are useful tools to reveal the truth and equally useful to advance misinformation and lies.   I pray that we will return to rational sanity in this world.  Without God, we are like rudderless ships on a raging sea.

God bless you, and God bless America!

The Harris Plan of Destruction…

The immediate question that comes to mind is, “Is Kamala Harris intentionally trying to destroy America?”  I believe I know the answer, but based on her incredible ignorance about government and economics, I am willing to say, “I do not know.”   At the end of the day, intentional or unintentional destruction achieves the same result—the destruction and Loss of the Republic.

Therefore, I cannot and will not vote for her or any of the Leftists, Progressives, Liberal, or Globalist Socialists.  You may hate the GOP candidate so much that you are willing to ignore facts, records, and the clear and present dangers embodied in the Democratic Platform.  If that is the case, you will be incensed by what I am going to say.  However, as you have a God-given and Constitutional right to believe what you believe, so do I.

Even her own party is now begging her not to release her policy agenda before the election.  We officially have a Nancy Pelosi candidate – “We have to elect her to find out who she is.”  No, I do not want her elected and will do everything I can to prevent that from happening.  I may lose friends, become estranged from family members, and become alienated from the church fellowship, but the danger is so ominous I cannot be silent.  Sometimes, to say nothing is to give silent consent, and I dare not do that in this situation.

Kamala Harris is following the Joe Biden campaign strategy and avoids the media, usually her allies.  Why?  There are many possible reasons, but one is that even her own media questions her economic policy.  She has published numerous socialist-style price control plans, subsidies for homeowners, and two policies that copy the Trump-Vance plan: a child tax credit and no tax on tips.  Imagine that!

Her history and that of those she is closely aligned with is to say whatever they believe the voters want to hear and then, once elected, abandon any positive pledges and pursue the leftist socialist agenda.  This is no different.  When the propaganda arms of the Democrats declare that Harris’ economic plans are nothing more than ‘gimmicks’ and are ‘not sensible,’ you have to wonder what is going on.  Are the media finally coming to grips with reality and willing to abandon the Democrats?  I doubt it, so something else must be in the works.

Her plan would put the power of prices in the hands of the unelected Federal Trade Commission and allow them to decide what grocery stores can charge for bread, eggs, butter, etc.  You cannot claim to be historically informed if you think that is a good idea.  Those things have been the earmarks of communist regimes through the ages.  They do not work and will potentially result in ‘Bread Lines.’   Does that sound good?   Please do not say yes!

The Left and some RHINOs are vilifying J.D. Vance, and their favorite term for him is “weird.”  Vance was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth and did not live ‘privileged.’  Imagine a man who served in the Marines, finished college in two years, went to Yale Law School, became the editor of the Yale Law Journal, and wrote a best seller about his life.  He was a clerk for a federal judge, had experience in the tech industry and investing, and became a U.S. Senator.  That sounds anything but ‘weird’ unless you are from the party and do not know what a woman is.

She made a public appearance, and her speech sounded like an ad for the Trump campaign. She admitted the out-of-control prices her administration caused and said she would fix it once she was president rather than doing something now. Wait? What? Why not now?

Let me offer this from a CNN commentator, Scott Jennings – “Harris’ price control plan will cause ‘bread lines’ and recreated ‘The Walking Dead’ economy.”  Wow!  He said, “If you like bread lines, product shortages, black markets, hoarding, and if you want to create the happy economic conditions of ‘The Walking Dead, ‘ then Harris has a plan for you! “  He admitted that it is not price gouging at the grocery store but inflation that is the culprit.  The cause is the policies of the Biden-Harris administration.  She is Vice President now; if she had a plan to fix it, NOW would be the time to begin.  Why in January 2025?  Because she knows she will do NOTHING!

Not to beat a dead horse, but Kamala Harris is either economically illiterate or she is incredibly sinister, or both.  If elected and she is able to enact her plan, the American economic system will be history, and America will be plunged into chaos with looting, rioting, and marauding bands of terrorists seeking to take what any of us have.   Her agenda will create the necessity of Marshal Law, and maybe that is the plan.

She was the number one cheerleader in the trillions of inflationary spending that created this mess.  She is complicit in the destruction and needs to be held accountable.  If anyone’s dislike or hate for Donald J. Trump enables them to vote for Harris and the Left blindly, I weep for you!  The policies of the Left and this administration are directly opposed to many biblical precepts, and on that principle alone, I cannot vote for them.

I am pro-America, pro-life, and pro-God. I am also pro-Constitution and pro-law and Order. I am a natural-born American, a Christian, a father, a grandfather, and a Vietnam Veteran. I stand staunchly for Faith, Family, and Freedom. I plead with you to examine the facts honestly, evaluate the agenda and platform, and vote for America in November!

God bless you, and God bless America!

CLOWARD-PIVEN – – The Continuing Destructive Philosophy of Liberalism…

I am resurrecting ancient political history. Let me reiterate what I have been saying lately: God must be our primary focus first, or we lose sight of the eternal and most important.  If we focus on politics, we will be tainted by the slime of political corruption and lower our standards to the world’s standards.  If we focus on God, His Kingdom, and being the people He desires us to be, we will become salt and light in a darkened world and influence our surroundings and environments.  We should be elements of change for good, not influenced by the bad of this world.

I want my life to demonstrate God’s love in all things and at all times. I want to become God’s righteousness in Christ Jesus manifested to the world. I want to be a man after His own heart and abide in Him and His word in me.

However, in our focus on God and the things of God, we dare not be oblivious to the issues in our world societally, politically, or spiritually.  If we know what is happening, we are better equipped to pray targeted prayers and pull-down strongholds.  Therefore, today, I want to remind you of some things we can and must commit to fervent prayer.

It has been suggested, and rightly so, that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are President Cloward and Vice President Piven regarding where America is heading governmentally.  If that theory is correct, and she becomes president, we are not just in a fight beyond all the fights we have endured in the history of our Republic, including the Revolutionary War. We are fighting for survival, not just to get through a difficult time politically.

Let me briefly rehearse the ‘Cloward-Piven’ political strategy so we will all be on the same page. It is a strategy of calculated chaos to achieve a political end. Columbia University Professors Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven’s theory was published in the extremely far-left news magazine The Nation in 1966.

Their goal, and I believe the goal of this administration and the democrats, is to create a chaotic condition politically. That chaotic condition would provide the pathway resulting in legislation being signed into law that would guarantee an annual income, believing it would end poverty.  Guaranteed annual income for EVERYONE?  Who would own everything and everyone if that became a reality?  THE GOVERNMENT!

As I look back over the past almost four years, I see the incredibly dangerous attempts by the government to seize power. The imported Chinese coronavirus was a major test. As I watched and watched, I cringed! The events directly connected to that pandemic have been questionable elections that, in my view, clearly involved fraud, cheating, and more.

Governmental control in America has shifted to the Left dramatically, and the dictatorial actions of local, state, and national officials have been alarming.  It all happened with little protest from the sheep, and the only protestors were those rioting because of some real or fictional social injustices.

The Cloward-Piven objective was to create massive chaos and turmoil.  In their own words, “A massive drive to recruit the poor onto the welfare rolls.”  That is not the end of their objective, for they desired that action be followed by “A federal program of income redistribution to elevate the poor en masse from poverty.”  Again, if the government takes all we have and redistributes it to whomever and wherever they deem fit, who owns it and us?

We witnessed the draconian lockdowns and the closures of businesses, schools, churches, etc.  That prompted the ruling class to spend trillions of dollars we do not have to alleviate the problem created by the government.  They attempted to throw monopoly money at the problem and repair the damage they did.  Imagine that!

Much of the ‘so-called’ COVID stimulus package and the Harris economic plan is a massive income redistribution effort.  They seek to take from the producers and supply sustenance to the non-producers.  The non-producers’ situation is either the result of their own decisions or through the diktats of the powers running various governmental entities.  It is designed to reduce the ‘middle class’ to a ‘dependency class,’ thereby gaining more control of our lives.

The Cloward-Piven plan defines a crisis as “a publicly visible disruption in some institutional sphere.”  Their plan is to create a crisis is to utilize a spontaneous outbreak of violence or through a planned assault using demonstrations, riots, and protests to generate the desired institutional disruption or bring unrecognized disruption to the public square.  It is insurrection and subversion at its core.  They will utilize any event to launch their creation of a crisis.

I suggest that the pre-planned event at the Capitol on January 6th created a false panic quickly seized upon by the political ruling class to step up their seizure of control.  Congress rubber-stamped an election that demanded investigation due to the known anomalies and disparities in the election and the myriad of sworn affidavits.

The evidence demanded a thorough investigation, but questioning the election was deemed un-American, insurrectionist, and bordered on treason.  The Democrats have been seeking to decertify the Iowa congressional election won by a Republican.  Hypocrisy?  No, it is beyond that and is diabolical.

Cloward-Piven did not begin with Donald Trump, but the idea was given birth during FDR’s New Deal and then given full impetus in the 1960s when it was given a name.  The plan includes Medicare, Medicaid, and the Great Society welfare programs.

  • We have watched government agencies strangle the republic, destroy innovation, and attempt to impede the Free Enterprise System.
  • We have engaged in seemingly endless wars expansion of programs such as food stamps, Medicaid, and other social welfare programs.
  • We are allowing the destruction of our Republic from within.  Who needs enemies from abroad when we have those successfully cracking the pillars of liberty at home?

Their goal was to have, and we are there, a majority of Americans receiving benefits from the government.  A crisis, real or manufactured, led to the creation of those programs.  Seniors and the poor were deemed unable to afford medical care; therefore, we created Medicare and Medicaid.  They seek to create paranoia and fear at the ballot box, strip people of reason, and relegate them to emotional responses and votes.  They have to bring down the current system of economics for their plan to succeed in the total takeover, and we are dangerously near that precipice today.

In some ways, it seems that Donald Trump never had a chance. It allowed the Deep State and Swamp to test their strategies to weaponize the government against all political opposition.  The H.R.1 bill was designed to place the final nail in the coffin of any semblance of free and fair elections in America.  Trump was a speed bump on the Cloward-Piven expressway. Over the past four years with him out of their way, it has been full speed ahead and damn the torpedoes.

We are being ruled not by elected representation but by a senile old man signing executive orders like they were autographs at a rock concert.  He signs whatever is placed in front of him, and I do not believe he has the mental acuity to know what he is doing, if he even cares.  The COVID pandemic provided a speedway for them to implement their agenda, and most Americans have passively complied without voting to stop them or protesting to their elected officials.  That will result in our destruction.

Those who have been the producers will eventually tire of rowing the ship of economics. They will tire of watching the fruit of their labors stolen and given to the non-producers against their wills.  They will tire of watching the ruling class live lavishly while struggling to make ends meet.  When that happens, the proverbial overweight lady will be singing, and freedom will exit stage left. God help us to awaken from our slumber before it is too late.

God bless you, and God bless America! Elections have consequences or rewards; the only question is, which will we vote for in this election?

Morality in America (Politically and Societally)

I realize that what I am about to say regarding the moral condition in America today may rankle some on both sides of the political aisle.  However, I believe that if we honestly evaluate today’s societal fabric, we will find much common ground for this discussion.  Morality has always been an issue, but it seems we have drifted farther from biblical morality and ethics than ever.

The Bible speaks about the conditions of the ‘Last Days,’ and those depraved conditions are prevalent in today’s society, possibly more than at any time in human history.   In many ways, the deviation from biblical morality and ethics appears more egregious than any previous societies, including Sodom, Gomorrah, and the Days of Noah.  You may disagree, but that is my perspective.

Our founding fathers saw the dangers of declining morality, greed, avarice, and politicization of everything within our government and society.  Some of their observations are almost prophetic and quite evangelistic.

John Adams declared, “It is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand.  The only foundation for a free constitution is pure virtue.” He also said, “If ‘Thou Shalt Not Covet,’ and ‘Thou Shalt Not Steal,’ were not commandments of Heaven, they must be made inviolable precepts in every society, before it can be civilized or made free.” That is an amazing but accurate observation by our 2nd President.

Samuel Adams declared, “Neither the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt.” Charles Carroll echoed those sentiments, saying, “Without morals, a republic cannot subsist any length of time.” Benjamin Franklin agreed, saying, “Only virtuous people are capable of freedom.  As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters.”

One of the most powerful and revelatory statements was made by John Winthrop.  He said, “Men, in a word, must necessarily be controlled either by a power within them or by a power without them; either by the Word of God or by the strong arm of man; either by the Bible or the bayonet.”

The recognized Father of our Country and 1st President, George Washington, declared, “Virtue or morality is a necessary spring of popular government.” His writings indicate that he believed that the republic would quickly spiral into tyranny, chaos, or both without a populace grounded in morality.  He insisted that habits of virtue were as critical as the checks and balances of government.

James Madison candidly addressed the issue, saying, “To suppose any form of government will secure liberty or happiness without virtue in the people is a chimerical idea.” He recognized that no matter how detailed or wise the constitution might be, it would fail without personal virtue and morality by the citizens and representatives of government.

The Bible prophesied the conditions that would become prevalent in the ‘Last Days.’ I realize that some reading this do not believe the Bible or in God.  However, I ask you to hear what the Bible declared would be the visible characteristics of people in the era identified as the ‘Last Days.’ If you are still convinced that those conditions do not define our day, I will move on and ask you to do the same.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 – “You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days, there will be very difficult times.  For people will love only themselves and their money.  They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful.  They will consider nothing sacred.  They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control.  They will be cruel and hate what is good.  They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God.  They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly.”

Let’s break that down:

  • The ‘Last Days’ would be exceedingly difficult times.
  • People would be so filled with themselves that they would have little concern for others, and money or possessions would become a predominant pursuit.
  • People would be boastful and proud – narcissistic, arrogant, ungrateful, filled with an entitlement mentality, and irreverent.
  • Nothing would be sacred, and the prevalent attitude would be rejecting absolute truth.
  • Love would devolve into hate, which would be society’s predominant characteristic.
  • People would become cruel and hate what is good.  The time would be marked by those who call good evil and evil good.
  • Loyalty would become secondary to personal ambition.
  • Pleasure would take precedence over God and purity.

The corruption in government is deeply troubling, but beyond that, in today’s America, many city streets are unsafe for anyone, especially for the elderly, women, and children, to be on at night and often even in the daylight hours.  Road rage and hate that is deemed justifiable inspires some to become violent, having lost any sense of the sanctity of life.  If you disagree with their ideology, you are a candidate for extermination.

Issues such as abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism, greed, corruption, and rejection of any mention of God in the public square are things our founders feared would destroy America.  They were justifiably concerned.  We have ignored the issues and insisted that the clergy never mention them in the pulpit (demanding political correctness and the fallacious idea of separation of church and state).  Bill Gothard of the Basic Institute of Youth Conflicts said, “What we allow in moderation, our children will do in excess.”

I realize that this sermonette may not be received by all who read it, but without a return to our moral moorings and a reconstituting of biblical morality and ethics, America is doomed to unwholesome change that can and could destroy her. If you believe in God and pray, I ask you to join me as we intercede for America, the Church, individual souls, and the world. The ballot box will not solve our problems in this world; ONLY GOD CAN!

God bless you, and God bless America!

What Happened to ‘We the People?’

The founding fathers who drafted the American Constitution valued a Republic with a Republican System of Government. They fervently believed that this would require an involved citizenry who gave constant oversight to those entrusted with governance. They did not believe this task could be delegated to a select few people, namely politicians.

Even the colonial ministers were actively involved in the process, speaking from their pulpits about the virtues and evils of various government acts. They believed it was their duty to inform and forewarn their parishioners. The current state of affairs results from leaving politics solely to the politicians, a situation in which we all have a role.

I am not advocating that ministers become political analysts or activists but that they speak to the issues identified in the Bible and when those issues endanger society. We have all heard the phrase “A government of the people, for the people, and by the people” or some variation of that. Usually, it is attributed to Abraham Lincoln in his Gettysburg address as the originator.

In 1850, in a speech to a New England Anti-Slavery Convention, Theodore Parker, an American preacher and social reformer, declared: “…There is what I call the American idea…This idea demands, as the proximate organization thereof, a democracy, that is, a government of all the people, by all the people, for all the people; of course, a government after the principles of eternal justice, the unchanging law of God; for shortness’ sake, I will call it the idea of Freedom…”

Parker was likely inspired by British politician Benjamin Disraeli, who expressed a similar sentiment in his novel ‘Vivian Grey’ in 1826.  He said, “… all power is a trust; that we are accountable for its exercise; that from the people and for the people all springs, and all must exist.”  The idea of self-government demands the involvement of the citizenry.  In a speech to the U.S. Senate in 1830, Daniel Webster said, “…It is, Sir, the people’s Constitution, the people’s Government, made for the people, made by the people, and answerable to the people. The people of the United States have declared that this Constitution shall be the supreme law. We must either admit the proposition or dispute their authority.”

Some even attribute the phrase or idea to John Wycliffe’s prologue in his 1384 translation of the Bible.  This seems to be a misapplication of his narrative.  I mention this only to suggest that self-governance and involvement by the people being governed is not a new phenomenon but an ancient one.  Yet, in 2024, many are so repulsed by politics that they wash their hands of responsibility and let the politicians devour our Republic.  Is that God’s plan?

Our founding fathers, including Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, Madison, and countless others, believed that the Republic’s hope of survival and longevity was active participation by the people.  Our Republic eagerly sought the involvement and guidance provided by the clergy.  Since politics is a part of life, and what the government does affects our lives, I believe that believers must be informed and, where needed, vocal and active in addressing the dangers and values in governmental edicts and actions.

I am not suggesting that ministers become political activists.  NO!  The primary duty of the clergy is the gospel, but that is the prime duty of all believers, according to Matthew 28 and Mark 16.

Thomas Jefferson believed that an informed and enlightened electorate was critical to the survival of the Republic. James Madison believed that civic participation was essential and indispensable. He believed an informed citizenry was a safeguard against tyranny. Alexander Hamilton called for active participation by the people and contended that apathy was a threat to the survival of the Republic.  John Adams believed that liberty and duty were intertwined, declaring, “Liberty cannot be preserved without a general knowledge among the people.”

The Bible teaches that we are our brothers’ keepers, and if we see danger, we are to warn of that danger.  Additionally, the strong are to help the weak, and we are to love one another.  If I bury my head in the sand, ignore the dangers, and insist that those in the church leave the politics to the politicians and erect an impenetrable wall of separation between God and government, is that evidence of love?

I realize that I am opening myself up to being severely criticized and even judged as a minister who has abandoned his call and become a politician. I hope that is not the view! I believe the Bible literally and care enough about this generation and successive generations that I am willing to be targeted in order to sound the alarm when it needs to be sounded.

Today, the current state of affairs in Washington is screaming for an infusion of citizen activity and citizen oversight of the government.  We need to be aware of what the politicians are doing, planning, and hoping to do.  Freedom comes with an incredibly high price tag and requires our investment to preserve it and pass it on to successive generations.

As a believer, a minister, an American citizen, a Vietnam veteran, and a patriot, I ask that those who pray join me and the thousands, if not millions, like me who are interceding for America and the world.  We have a world to win, and having a Free Republic in America will be beneficial!

God bless you, and God bless America!

Part 2 – I OFFER MY PERSPECTIVE FOR REALITY AND PURPOSE IN 2024 …

This will be a continuation of my extended declaration of my purpose in today’s world.  As the foundation for my expressions and declarations, I use the Bible.  Psalm 127:1-2 – “Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain.  2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to retire late, to eat the bread of painful labors; for He gives to His beloved even in his sleep.”  NASB

Too often, we have made the mistake of thinking all we must do is pray with no personal effort to see a change in the federal government. We have allowed the secularization of the idea of Separation of Church and State to censor and silence us when that was never the intent or purpose of the First Amendment.

Psalm 127, usually attributed to Solomon, defines a balanced perspective and affords a foundation for faith and hope in our personal lives, business, and politics. We dare never forget that GOD IS GOD! Much of society today has moved from absolute truth, and many have adopted a mentality and philosophy that there are no absolute rights and no absolute wrongs.

That opens the door to every person being a law unto themselves.

  • If we accept the account of Genesis 1 that “In the beginning God…”
  • If we believe that God is truly the Creator, then we have a sense of moral accountability to Him.
  • If we do not believe that He is the Creator, we have no sense of obligation, accountability, or responsibility to follow His precepts and become laws unto ourselves.

Sadly, that is the attitude of too many in politics, especially those in the Democratic Party hierarchy.

Psalm 127 unveils a powerful truth and revelation that opens the door to a balanced plan and path for politics. It addresses far more than politics, but in defining my purpose and what I believe is my assignment in life, I use it, at this moment, to address the political.  Examine it with me, if you will: The writer begins with the powerful word Unless, which illustrates futility and then offers hope: “Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it…”

In the political sense, the House is our system and mode or method of government.  It is more than just Congress or the White House; it is the entire political system, from the lowest bureaucrat to the President.  Unless the LORD builds that house, our feeble efforts will be in vain or without any substantive result.  We may achieve the objectives we believe are vital and impose or implement our policies, but if we do it outside the will and purpose of God, it will not produce lasting benefits.  It will become nothing more than an exercise in futility.

He says, “Unless the LORD guards the city, the watchmen keep awake in vain…”  In the Amplified Bible, we read Daniel 2:21, “It is He (God) who changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and establishes kings.  He gives wisdom to the wise and [greater] knowledge to those who have understanding.”

For those who argue that God is not interested in politics and that Christians should stay out of the political discussion, I would refer you to that passage and many others.  God is very interested in the Political House and the Political City and has committed Himself to Build and Guard it if we follow the prescription of 2 Chronicles 7:14, “…and My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.”

We have a three-fold responsibility before God.

  • We Are to WATCH and Heed the Warnings of the “Watchmen on the Wall.”

We are to be observant and “Discern the Times” in which we live.  Watching is a vital part of the process; if we are unaware, we will not be forearmed in prayer.  However, I concur that one of the ministries of the Holy Spirit is to pray through us when we do not know how to pray, and God is also very interested in us being aware.  Awareness comes through Observation or Watching!  Therefore, be vigilant!  Be alert!  Be aware!  Be discerning!

    • We Are to Verbalize Those Things We See and Hear Arming Ourselves with the Word of God.

We must utilize the Armor of God to Pull Down Strongholds and Defeat the enemy.   Some might question how that applies to politics, but politics affects life and freedom to preach, teach, testify, and assemble.  If we lose our Freedom, we lose the freedom to proclaim the message of Hope in Christ publicly.

    • We Must Become Involved.

The Bible declares that “Faith without works is dead being alone.”  There comes a time in life when we need to Hear or See what is happening.  We must Discern God’s purpose through Prayer and then act.

That brings me to my initial point or purpose in this presentation.  My Purpose is to faithfully take my position on the Wall and Watch.  What I See, I will Declare, sounding the Alarm when an alarm is required and making a plea when a plea is appropriate. I will use God’s voice to execute my duties of Informing faithfully and forewarning, including politics.

Prayer is a cornerstone of all that I do.  I will not just ask others to engage in that warfare but will enter the trenches with them and fight the fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom.  The Psalm we have used also says, “It is vain for you to rise early, to retire late, to eat the bread of painful labors; For He gives His to His beloved EVEN IN HIS SLEEP.”   I hope you caught that!

We are to Labor, Pray, Watch, and Warn! But if we do not keep everything in the proper perspective, we will be doing all we do in vain. I do not suggest that the Psalmist was suggesting that we disengage from anything political, but that we must make Trusting God the center of all we do.

We approach our battle knowing that God is on the side of Right. God’s providence established the Republic known as the United States of America, and He is the one who built this nation and has guarded her for these 240-plus years.

As America embraced His precepts and followed His moral principles, she flourished and became the Mighty Nation she had become.  The decline can be just as rapid and impressive as that rise has been.  If we do not want America to become a byword among the nations of the world, we must become a nation and a people who Trust God, Follow His precepts, and learn as individuals to become those who “Watch and Pray” and then as we receive His marching orders Invest and Involve ourselves in the matters before us.

My objective and purpose are to be a Voice of Reason and Hope, always identifying the dangers, sounding the alarm, calling to action, and Pointing to Our True Hope!

I take the words of Alexis de Tocqueville as I quote from Democracy in America, “I sought for the greatness and genius of America in her commodious harbors and her ample rivers—and it was not there…in her fertile fields and boundless forests—and it was not there…in her rich mines and her vast world commerce—and it was not there…in her democratic Congress and her matchless Constitution—and it was not there. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did, I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great.”  Also, our first President George Washington’s First Inaugural Address on April 30, 1789, “The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained.”

My Objective is to be a Voice of Warning, a Voice of Hope, and a Voice of Prayer.  I will WATCH carefully, LISTEN intently, PROCLAIM loudly and consistently, PRAY fervently, and LABOR tirelessly for Faith, Family, and Freedom.

We still have a small window of opportunity, but we dare not squander what has been granted to us. America, the Republic, is too important to neglect our duty. If we are Christians, we are citizens of two worlds. While our first allegiance is to the Kingdom of God, we live in the natural world. We must be good stewards of what God has given us and follow His leadership in building, guarding, and laboring.

God bless you, and God bless America! Let’s Pray for America, for Revival, for the Change that God desires and America needs.

I OFFER MY PERSPECTIVE FOR REALITY AND PURPOSE IN 2024 …

This will be an extended declaration of my purpose in today’s world.

As 2023 ended and 2024 burst on the scene, I once again did some introspection and sought to evaluate and define my purpose—the purpose I believe God has assigned me. With 2023 in the rearview mirror and 2024 passing the mid-point of the year, my concerns are even greater, and my commitment to the cause of Faith, Family, and Freedom is even more firmly entrenched than ever.

I believe that the invitation from my friend Dale Gentry to join the other hosts on www.bpnradio.com and become a part of Breakout Ministries was inspired by God and has been an exciting ride.  Dale’s recognition of my call to be a “Watchman on the Wall” has defined my purpose on the radio, in print, on social media, in the streets, house to house, and in the pulpit.  Jesus instructed his disciples in Matthew 26:41, “Keep awake and watch and pray [constantly], that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”  Amplified.

In my view, God would have us embrace a multi-pronged thrust in America over the next few years as we pursue His purposes and fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom. This is an American struggle that impacts the world.

    • There is a continuing furor regarding the Presidential election in 2024.
    • The outcry from the Democrats is the same song, a different verse.
    • The outcry from the Establishment Republicans is disappointing but not beyond what we could or should have expected.  They want ‘business as usual’ to continue facilitating the ‘ole boy network’ of Political Cronyism and Power.
    • The unveiling of corruption and partisanship in the FBI, DOJ, State Department, CIA, IRS, and many other government bureaucracies and agencies is disturbing.

All of this reveals how deep the swamp is and the daunting task we have as we endeavor to drain it and dismantle the deep state. The divide in America is growing more pronounced, and the willingness of many to see America continue down the path of destruction we have been on for some time is disturbing.

God moved upon hearts and granted America a small window of opportunity in 2016. He opened the door for us to begin returning to our moral moorings as a society and correcting some of the errors in the federal government. God was instrumental in helping Donald Trump achieve the victories he has accomplished, although he often had to do it virtually alone, without Congressional backing.

I would never suggest that Mr. Trump was or is a savior, but I do suggest that he offered a contrast that resonated with millions and sufficient numbers in the various states to defeat the leftists.   We were afforded a brief ray of hope that America could be restored to her Constitutional Republican Status.

Sadly, that window has largely closed, and we are experiencing devasting damage to our Republic, freedoms, and lives.  The entire world has been thrown into a precarious position where the real threat of World War is real.  The ineptitude and misguided inaction of many in Congress is telling.

The Holy Spirit compels me to define my purpose and objective. Hopefully, I can encourage, instruct, and elicit your involvement in the necessary task of Watching and Praying for America. I am not naïve enough to suggest that we can see what is happening and pray, doing nothing else, but prayer is assuredly the starting point. It is vital if we are to succeed in our Fight for Freedom!

Those in power never readily, easily, or willingly cede power. Once they achieve a hold on the nation, they fight vociferously to keep it. Government graft and corruption are as vile as any organized crime family or entity. The idea of Citizen Representation has long been tossed on the “trash heap” by those in power and seeking power.

Forces are working 24/7/365 to disrupt, dismantle, and destroy our American System of Government and relegate you and me to the role of servant to the State.  That was not the original intent of our Framers and Founders and should not be acceptable to any true American patriot and Lover of Freedom.

I have been criticized for being vocal on matters political and informed that “A Preacher has no business in politics.  That I should stick to preaching and leave politics to the politicians.”  My response was and is, “That is exactly how we got into this mess.”   It would be difficult for anyone to argue that politicians have done a good job as defenders of freedom and protectors of the Constitution.

We are over $34 Trillion in debt in America (secured debt) and upwards of $100 Trillion in unsecured debt.  We have such a massive bureaucracy in the federal system that the tentacles of that monster could not be pruned in five lifetimes.  We have allowed the original intent of the Framers of the Constitution and the Founders of the Republic to be so eroded and diluted that they would be unable to recognize any semblance of their purpose were they to view it today.

Deeply respecting the need for some semblance of brevity, I will make this a two-part blog post.  So, I ask you to join me tomorrow as I continue this declaration.

God bless you, and God bless America!

    Rebranding Does Not Mean Changed…

There is a massive move by the Left, including their major propaganda arms, the MSM, to ‘Rebrand’ Kamala Harris and transform her image into one of superintelligence, integrity, and compassion.  Based on her history, I fail to see any of that in her; you may disagree.  The media, the Left, and most Never-Trumpers seek to brand Trump as a man with the morals of an alley cat.  What about Biden and Harris?

If we make this about personal flaws or qualities, we would be forced to reject every politician in Washington or almost every politician.  I do not want to throw a blanket over everyone and use that broad brush.  However, it seems that most politicians and most people have kinks in their armor.   We are all flawed vessels.

Yet, when it comes to politics and the government, we are not voting on a pastor or giving nominations for sainthood; we are looking at what is best for the country.  God has used very flawed people to do some very good things.  I won’t make a comparison between Cyrus and Trump, but I will say that when I view politics, I consider the agenda, the platform, and the record.  I attempt to divest the personalities from my consideration.  I would love for all the politicians to be godly people, but they are not.  Therefore, I am left with making a decision based on core values and actions that are beneficial for America.

When I compare Kamala Harris to Donald Trump, there may be some common ground in peripheral areas, but the choice is clear to me when it comes to records, agendas, and ideologies. I try to vote for the candidate whose agenda and platform are closest to my biblical core values and objectives.

The Obama-Biden and Biden-Harris administrations were strongly pro-Islam and anti-Israel. They were strong advocates for the rainbow coalition, transgenderism, homosexuality, abortion on demand, defunding the police, open borders, higher taxes, anti-oil and gas, and ever-expanding entitlements.  They sought to ban the Bible and God from the public square.  They are anti-second Amendment and actively worked to restrict our freedom of speech, deeming any speech they did not agree with ‘hate speech.’  Even quoting the Bible was an actionable offense in their minds.

The recent events at the Olympics with the ‘Last Supper’ portrayal using Drag Queens were beyond troubling.  I cannot imagine any of that group have the audacity or courage to insult and defame Islam in the same manner.  But their actions are being lauded as honorable.  No, they are despicable.  Love me or hate me, that is my view, and I can only imagine how God feels about it.

    • Kamala Harris has strongly supported the ‘Defund the Police’ efforts, whereas Donald Trump strongly advocates for the men in blue.
    • Kamala Harris strongly supports open borders, whereas Donald Trump wants a secure border.
    • Kamala Harris desires abortion on demand (including late-term abortions), whereas Donald Trump views the issue as a State’s Rights Issue, as does the Constitution.
    • Kamala Harris advocates Sanctuary Cities, and Donald Trump does not.
    • Kamala Harris is anti-Second Amendment, whereas Donald Trump is an advocate for our rights to ‘Keep and Bear Arms.’
    • Kamala Harris is a Green Energy devotee at the expense of the fossil fuel industry. In contrast, Donald Trump has stood for utilizing the available resources to produce energy at a lower cost. He has not opposed Green Energy’s potential but sees it as needing time and development to become viable and affordable.
    • Kamala Harris is an Obamacare proponent and seeks to make our medical care in America more of a State-run entity, whereas Donald Trump wants choice in the market.

There are two visions of America on the ballot regardless of which Democrat ultimately tops the ticket.  The America of the Left is one that will destroy our elections by allowing illegals to vote.  Their desire to reject the idea of Voter ID opens the door to fraud and corruption. They desire to have the ability to spend us into fiscal oblivion fighting “Climate Change.”  They desire to mandate electric vehicles and end the use of internal combustion engines.  That policy will plunge America back into the dark ages and make the cost of living beyond the reach of anyone but the super-rich.

The Left wants to “Tax and Spend,” have access to our retirement accounts, and limit what we can spend of our own money.  They deem all money to belong to the state.  They seek to restrict our First Amendment Rights so that anything other than the politically correct speech is ‘hate speech.’  They want to abolish ‘private insurance’ and force us into ‘Socialized Medicine.’

They want a ‘one-party state’ with their party being the overlords.  They want to pack the Supreme Court with liberal ideologues.  They want to decriminalize crime, except crimes against the government.  They want to rule by executive order and give freebies to everyone for everything, including a guaranteed base income for everyone.

The agenda of the Left would destroy all free enterprise and strip citizens of the motivation or inspiration to strive for success.  The agenda of the Left would pit America against the Bible and the God of the Bible.  If you want to criticize me for supporting Donald Trump and the Republican ticket, go ahead.  I am not voting on a person; I am voting on the record and the proposed agendas.

I am a natural-born American citizen, a Vietnam veteran, a parent and grandparent, a patriot, and, most importantly, a Christian. I stand for Faith, Family, and Freedom! I stand for Limited Government and expect the elected officials to honor the Constitution, respect our rights and liberties, and work for us, not against us or for themselves.

I urge you to consider the agendas rather than simply looking at ethnicity, gender, or appearance.  Vote for what is best for America, and be honest in your assessment.  Look at the current cost of living and its potential to worsen, and ask yourself, “Am I better off under the Biden-Harris administration or the Trump-Pence of four years ago?”  If you are honest, unless you are part of the 1%, you will say, “I am not.”  Then vote for yourself and your progeny and send the Leftists home in November.

God bless you, and God bless America!
