COEXIST WITH EVIL?

I am unashamedly a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ, an American patriot, a Vietnam veteran, a Constitutionalist, and a defender of Faith, Family, and Freedom.  I will, without hesitation, call evil what it is, EVIL.  What I am watching today on the world scene and in America causes me deep sorrow of heart and disappointment.  We are a chaotic world, heading for trouble like never before witnessed in our history.

In my studies of the Bible, humanity, and history, I have become convinced that it is IMPOSSIBLE to coexist with evil.  Evil cannot be transformed into good via legislation or governmental mandates.  Evil cannot be transformed into good by appeasement, hoping to insatiable demands it makes.  Evil must be recognized for what it is and combated by every legitimate means, or it spreads like cancer and destroys.

The apostle Paul declared in 2 Corinthians 6:14 – “Do not be unequally bound together with unbelievers [do not make mismatched alliances with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” (Amplified Bible) That is a truth that is universal and unchanging.

The struggle in the Middle East is not a new phenomenon and will not be solved via man’s efforts.  This stems from hatred that dates back millenniums.   Some of those engaged in the modern struggle do not know why they hate; it is generational and has been ingrained in their psyche to the point it is who they are, not just what they believe or prefer.

The Bible gives us an understanding of what is happening and why it is happening, but many reject the biblical account as antiquated mythology and pigeonhole it as religious rhetoric.  In Genesis 15:16, God told Abraham that his heirs would not possess the land until the iniquity of the Amorites was complete.  The land was given to the Hebrews by God, and from that time to now, the inhabitants of the Middle East have exhibited an ingrained hate for the Jews.

Just because someone does not believe like we believe does not mean we are obligated to exterminate them and remove all their remembrance from history.  In our world, we live in neighborhoods and cities with an array of ideological and religious views.  If we allow hate to prevail and decide that obliterating everyone not believing or acting like us is the moral objective, we will find a condition of self-extermination prevalent.  The only possible result is chaos, confusion, conflict, and war.  That will make our lives a literal Hell on Earth.

In the Middle East, the followers of what some call ‘Radical Islam’ have vowed to push the Jewish people occupying the Land of Israel into the sea and exterminate them.  They have no desire for peaceful coexistence.  That leaves Israel with no choice if they hope to survive. They must defend themselves.

In the most recent Hamas terrorism, they have demonstrated the depth of evil in their hearts.  In the past, Israel has attempted to deal with their neighbors peacefully, with treaties and agreements that their neighbors violated.  The continual threat of attack forces every Israeli citizen to be prepared for war at all times and to work with one hand on the plow and the other on their sword.  That is a terrible way to live.

The claim that Hamas has taken the Moral High Ground is beyond ludicrous.  What moral and rational person would behead babies?  What moral person would find it acceptable and commendable to rape women in the presence of bloody body parts of their babies?  That is not civilized. It is beyond barbaric, and I call it demonic!  It is sub-human and demonstrates the absence of a moral conscience.  It is abhorrent and cannot be praised!

Hamas and groups like them have no desire for a peaceful coexistence. They have no desire for a two-state solution as has repeatedly been called for.  They have been offered a separate state of Palestine and rejected it each time.  The followers of their brand of Islam have made it blatantly clear that they will accept nothing short of the total extermination of Israel and all the Jewish people.   That makes coexistence impossible.

That brings me to the United States of America and the demand by the Left for tolerance of anti-biblical, anti-American, and anti-constitutional ideologies.  How can we do that?  Many of the followers of those views, like Hamas, want to obliterate those of us who do not adopt their ideological beliefs.  They believe their anger, hate, and violence are justified and we are infidels.  I say infidels because their ideologies have become religions to them, and any failure to bow at the altar of their god is deemed heretical and worthy of death.

Those who hate Israel and chant “Death to Israel” also chant “Death to America.”  They call Israel the Little Satan and America the Big Satan.  They do not desire to coexist with them or us; they want to eradicate us from the planet.  Yet, we watch government officials attempt to appease them, ignoring their heinous atrocities and crimes.  They watch as Americans are placed in harm’s way and slaughtered with little or no response.  That is beyond tragic and is revelatory of the condition of our present world.

The open border has allowed the influx of thousands of men from Islamic nations to enter unvetted and unhindered.  What have they brought with them?  What is taking place is networks are being assembled.  What is the intent and desire of those individuals making their way into the United States?  Our intelligence is aware that many of them have ties to terrorist organizations, and some have actively participated in acts of violence.  Why would we allow this?

Is the misguided belief that we can somehow coexist with and appease evil the driving force behind what our government is doing?  Not only in allowing the massive influx of unvetted illegals but in providing funds and support for organizations and nations that desire our destruction.  The U.S. Border Patrol has reported that in the past two years, they have encountered 72,823 “special interest aliens.”

What and who are “special interest aliens?”  They are largely ‘military-age’ males from Muslim nations in the Middle East.  One has to ask, “How many were not encountered and entered without notice?”    The followers of the Koran believe it is their mandate to press everyone who is not a follower of Islam into dhimmitude.

What is the answer to today’s evil, hatred, and violence?  For me, there is only one Answer – Jesus Christ!  It is God!  John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in Him, will not perish, but have eternal life.”   1 John 4:20 is revelatory – “If someone says, ‘I love God,’ and yet hates his brother or sister, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother or sister whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.”

When will there be genuine Peace on Earth?  When Jesus sets up His Kingdom. When the devil can no longer influence and persuade people to do evil.  In the eternal ages and not until then.   We may make treaties, pacts, and agreements and form temporary alliances, but until the Heart of Man is transformed, evil will exist, and good and evil cannot coexist; evil will not allow it.

America, I pray that we will awaken and realize that the pathway many have chosen to take is the road to destruction, not restoration or preservation.  I pray that we will adopt the directive of 2 Chronicles 7:14 and genuinely return to God’s moral moorings as a nation and individuals.  Hate is destructive and deadly. Hatred will never allow peace.  If we want to be and remain the Free Constitutional Republic established in 1776, we must reject evil and embrace good, which is only found in God.

God bless you, and God bless America!

HERE ARE SOME TRUTHS THAT CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE – – (Number Four)

1 John 4:15-19 – “Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. 17 By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. 19 We love, because He first loved us.” NASB

In these few verses, there are several life-changing truths that I want to highlight and discuss briefly:

  • The Way to God – – “Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.”
  • God Is Love – – “We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us.  God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.”
  • As He “is,” So Are We IN THIS WORLD – – “By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world.”
  • Love Defeats Fear – – “There is no fear in love, but perfect love cast out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.”
  • God’s Love Draws Us to Him – – “We love because He loved us.”  The New King James says it better – “We love Him because He first loved us.”

Today, we will consider number four – “Love Defeats Fear.”

Consider what the passage says: “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts our fear; because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.”

First, we know that God IS Love; therefore, fear cannot reside in God, and God lives in us.  That means that fear cannot reside in us if we allow God to live “in” us and “through” us.  David said in Psalm 56:3 – “Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.” NKJV

Isaiah declared it a little differently in Isaiah 12:2 – “Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For YAH, the LORD is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ NKJV David said when fear comes, “I will trust You, Lord.”  Isaiah said, “I will trust and not be afraid.”  With David, it is as we are most of the time – “Fear then trust.”  With Isaiah, the call was to “Trust and not fear.”

God’s love “banishes” fear, for it is a foreign element in the Kingdom of God!  If God is the ALMIGHTY, then what is there to fear?  If the devil somehow manages to “kill us,” what has he done?  Nothing; we are then translated into our “new bodies” and enter into the presence of the Lord.  If we somehow lose everything we possess here on earth, did God not feed the Children of Israel for 40 years in the wilderness and Elijah with the Ravens and the 5,000 and the 4,000 in miraculous fashion?  God is our source, not man, government, local church, or denomination.  God!

Punishment is gone from our lives in the sense that we will not face eternal punishment because we are “walking with the Lord,” “covered with the Blood of Jesus,” and have our “sins forgiven.”  So, what is it that we are to fear?  If we allow fear to place, it indicates that we need to work on our “view” of God and our “relationship” with Him. Indeed, we can “trust” Him, and if we can “trust” Him, then if God is for us, what difference does it make who is against us?

May the Lord be with you and banish all fear from your life.  Tomorrow, we will consider the last of the five – “God’s Love Draws Us to Him.”

WE ARE IN CRISIS IN AMERICA…

Friends and acquaintances sometimes tell me I am overreacting to what is happening politically in America.  They insist that everything political is cyclical, and if I wait, things will go back to the Right, and all will be good again.  I wish I could believe that, but I do not.

I readily acknowledge that that seems to have been the case in times past.  However, as I review history, I am convinced that rather than simply being a political pendulum swing, it is an orchestrated effort to destroy this nation and bring globalism into power.  It started over a century ago, and the slow, incremental, and veiled infringements of our rights and liberties are now open and rapid.  It is a fundamental transformation on steroids!

There have been warning signs that most ignored for decades.  There were voices sounding the alarm, and most warnings were dismissed as conspiracies or illusional fear.  One example would be Ayn Rand’s ‘Atlas Shrugged.’  She predicted that ‘rotten ideas’ would create ‘rotten outcomes and social upheaval.’  She was right, but she was not the only prognosticator of such dire times; most ignored them.

Today, we have front-row seats to the devastation of the WOKE, Cancel Culture destruction, and havoc.  It would be difficult to argue that the foundational pillars of our Republic have not and are not being weakened.  They are being damaged by the incessant push of the Leftists to force us into compliance with the inane and insane political correctness of today.

Ayn Rand rightly suggested that the government would infringe on parental rights, stifle academic and scientific research, and fuel a dangerous mentality of victimhood.  She nailed that with amazing accuracy.  Ideas generate outcomes, and if the ideas are flawed, the outcomes will be.  If the ideas are sinister and dangerous, the outcomes will produce the fruit of those ideas.

Culture, society, and politics are all shaped by philosophy, and Rand observed the philosophical trends of the 40s and 50s and sounded the alarm.  Sadly, we did not take her warnings seriously enough.  Ayn Rand was only twelve when the Marxist revolution gained prominence and power in Russia. She immigrated to the United States at the age of twenty-one and was the key founder of the philosophy of objectivism.

When a nation allows a centralized educational bureaucracy to control local education, there is a quantifiable decline in education.  One of our glaring mistakes was that once the Department of Education was created in 1979, we allowed the NEA to mandate what and how vital aspects of history were taught.  The move was on to reshape the ideological views of our children and transform them into Leftists.  That has transpired to our detriment as a republic.

When any nation allows the government to infringe upon parental rights and authority, it is a short step from there to tyranny.  I agree with Rand’s declaration, “The government has no right to interfere in the upbringing of a child, which is entirely the responsibility and the right of the parents.”

As a Christian, I believe God gave the responsibility of training the children to the parents.  It is okay to embrace public education so long as it does not usurp parental rights or divert the child from the truth.  The current silencing of all dissent by parents and the objections over curriculum is an outward expression of the view that we all belong to the government.  WE DO NOT!

It is abhorrent for school boards, legislators, judges, or anyone else to pass edicts or laws that prevent parents from participating in life-altering medical decisions regarding gender or anything else.  The argument that 18–22-year-old students who took out massive student loans are not emotionally mature enough to know what they have done, but 6-9-year-old children are capable of determining their desired or true gender is insane.

Our laws insist that before the age of twenty-one, a person is not mature enough to buy alcohol or smoke tobacco products.  Yet, some believe that a pre-teen child should be allowed to decide to have sex-change procedures because they believe they are misgendered.  That is beyond illogical and idiotic.  God did not make a mistake, and the horror stories of many who have opted for those procedures and later have deep remorse and even become suicidal are disturbing.

We live in a world where being a victim is promoted as a badge of honor rather than seeking to help them become free of that mindset and live productive lives.  We have drifted from the reality that life is not always fair and there will always be disparities.  We have morphed from the idea of working for success to demanding that the playing field be level and everyone share equally regardless of ability or effort.  That is beyond illogical and is dangerous and damaging to those imprisoned in the mentality of ‘victimhood.’

When the government becomes a behemoth and gains sufficient power, it stifles all freedoms, including intellectual freedom.  When the government controls the research, the truth becomes obscure, and promoting ideological theories and agendas becomes the norm.  During the COVID-19 pandemic, we were forced to accept censorship and isolation; both were detrimental to intellectual advancement in education and science.  It damaged interpersonal relationships as well.

In America, one of the things that has enabled this nation to become a great nation can be tied to the Free-Market Capitalism that we have embraced and enjoyed.  The American Dream was only possible as people were allowed to pursue their dreams and reap the blessings of their labors without impediment from the government.  Today, we have a cancel culture seeking to destroy that economic pathway and replace it with Socialism or Marxism.

Ayn Rand contended that politicians and many citizens would become paralyzed by the profound conflict between capitalism and the moral code that dominates our culture, the morality of altruism.  We have witnessed the incredible power of altruism, the misguided belief that the government can provide happiness.  We are reaping the harvest of that flawed philosophy and the delusional ideology taught in public education and through various activism sources.

Altruism holds that man has no right to exist for his own sake and that service to others is the only justification for his existence.  It teaches that self-sacrifice is mankind’s highest moral duty, virtue, and value.  (Unless God is the core, any philosophy becomes flawed).  The Bible teaches us to care for others and to allow love to be the driving and defining factor and force in our lives.

But it also teaches the precept and concept of working, producing, and providing for our own.  It teaches that out of what we produce, we consider the less fortunate, not that we become a collective and allow a parasitic mindset of victimhood to destroy initiative.  It teaches that if one WILL NOT WORK, they should not be provided food.  The operative word is WILL NOT rather than COULD NOT!

Those in the condition of “could not” are the ones we are to extend our benevolence.  America became a great nation for many reasons: a willingness to work and pursue dreams was a part of that success.  We are allowing destructive ideological agendas to steal our nation and force us into life under despotism.  We must not surrender without a fight!

Let us unite and fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom.  Let us unite to keep America the Land of the Free!  Let us unite and evict all politicians and bureaucrats who seek to destroy our republic and infringe upon our inalienable rights.

God bless you, and God bless America!

HELLO, AMERICA, WE ARE IN TROUBLE; WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

I could adopt the attitude that no action is necessary because God is Sovereign and controls all things. I do believe that God is Sovereign! That being said, I also believe that God expects us to“do what is right” in every area of life, including the political. If I were to sit idly by and watch America, a nation founded on principles so friendly to individual liberties and the teachings of Scripture, I would feel I had betrayed God’s trust.

Throughout history, we have records of nation after nation attempting to ensure the “inalienable rights” God has given everyone. Repeatedly, those nations fell prey to power-hungry, ambitious people who plunged them into tyranny. A quote from George Santayana is applicable, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” That defines my passion to see as many people as possible informed regarding our government, true history, and the perils of continuing on the path that restricts, limits, and even abolishes our freedoms.

We live in a Free Society, and all Free Societies seek to establish governments designed to protect the rights of individuals, especially the inalienable rights of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” James Madison was right when he declared, “If men were angels, no government would be necessary.”

Sadly, we are not, and some government is necessary; otherwise, we would have total anarchy, and none of us want that. History is replete with examples of how governments restricted or disallowed private ownership of land, redistributed wealth, and censored speech and expression. Each resulted in the collapse of that nation’s economy, the loss of freedom, and ultimately, the end of that nation as a Free Society!

The permanent professional political class has demonstrated a uniform desire to grow government regardless of party. Why? Because it perpetuates their way of life and gives them an incredible amount of power, frequently increasing their personal wealth. When government expands to the point of controlling the lives of every individual directly or indirectly by deciding what we eat, what we drive, where we live, work, and how much we can earn or keep of those earnings, it is out of control.

I believe that this is a time when the public must take whatever measures are necessary to rein in and reduce its size of government to a manageable and constitutional level. We know from history that there is a point of no return in supporting an endless number of so-called good causes.

History has demonstrated that when any society follows that path, it becomes collectivist and then tyrannical.  Upton Sinclair, the author of “The Jungle,” a socialist, and founder of the consumer protection movement, wrote to six-time presidential candidate Norman Thomas of the Socialist Party of America in 1951: “The American People will take Socialism, but they won’t take the label… Running on the Socialist ticket, I got 60,000 votes, and running on the slogan to “End Poverty in California,” I got 879,000… There is no use attacking it by a frontal attack; it is much better to out-flank them.”  We have realized how true those words are in the past few decades.

In Ancient Greece, Polybius said, “Democracy in its turn is abolished and changes into a rule of force and violence as the people grow more accustomed to feed at the expense of others and to depend for their livelihood on the property of others.” The U.S. Government began a deep downward spiral under Barack Obama and is growing exponentially under Joe Biden.  They have pushed us toward becoming a welfare society with complete dependence on the Federal Government for our livelihood.

The Democrats continue that agenda, and it is on steroids under Biden.  They call rights things that are not rights, such as “the right to high-quality education, the right to free or affordable health care and housing, etc.” They promise to provide those things, telling us it will reduce the overall cost. Yet, anyone in their right mind and with an elementary knowledge of economics knows that the exact opposite is true.

If you study Ancient Greece, you find interesting clues as to this country’s fate. Aristotle described the characteristics of a tyrant and speaks so profoundly to our current situation that it is frightening. He said, “Another mark of a tyrant is that he likes foreigners better than citizens, and lives with them and invites them to his table; for the one are enemies, but the others enter into no rivalry with him.”

Additionally, “From democracy tyrants have borrowed the art of making war upon the notables and destroying them secretly or openly or exiling them because they are rivals and stand in the way of their power; and also, because plots against them are contrived by men of this class, who either want to rule or to escape subjection.” Does that sound familiar? The use of class warfare is a perfect example.

Today, we see politicians using class envy, race, gender, sexual preference, and a host of other things as tools to divide people and enlarge their support bases. Frequently, they tell one group one thing and another something dramatically different. It is disturbing that if the mass media supports those candidates and their ideologies, they can commit those inconsistencies with impunity. On the other hand, their opponents are doing the same face vilification as vile, evil, and mean-spirited liars.

Aristotle also taught that a tyrant maintains power in three distinct ways:

  • Humiliation of his subjects. (Wow, is that ever-present today!)
  • Creating mistrust among and between people. (Divide and conqueror.)
  • By Relegating his subjects to a status where they are incapable of resisting. (Does making one totally dependent on the government for their livelihood fall into this category? Would disarming the citizens meet this qualification?)

The history of Ancient Rome also gives us clear warning signs. Yet, for decades, we have chosen to ignore those warnings. Julius Caesar was a skilled politician and orator. To gain the support of the masses, especially the poor, he promised to distribute food and money to them. He would become their source by providing the things they needed to live. He planned to“redistribute the wealth,” creating class warfare against those who had become affluent and prosperous through ingenuity and work.

The Roman Empire fell, among other reasons, due to their increasing “tax burden, confiscation of wealth, devaluation of the currency, attempts to control prices, and regulate virtually every dimension of business and personal life.” Once the rich had either fled or been destroyed, the burden to feed the government’s insatiable hunger and this tyrant fell upon the poor who could not satisfy the demands, thus destroying the Empire.

Ancient Israel had one of the most efficient systems known to man. Most of the Western world’s legal and moral code comes from the Judeo-Christian philosophy, values, and beliefs. They operated with extremely limited government per se and yet had an incredible system of checks and balances.

Their laws supremely protected private property.  This has been a cornerstone in every free society. Our founders understood that this was a critical right whose defense was paramount. Israel’s tax system remained constant for over four hundred years. Somebody explain that to the political class in Washington!

Winston Churchill said of Russia and their system of government, “It is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.” The Soviet Union that emerged advocated for totalitarianism, Marxist socialism, or communism. Their system is another of a long list of proven failures. Alexis de Tocqueville said in 1848, “Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word: equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude.”

Winston Churchill characterized it in this manner, “The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings. The inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.” Today, we have lunatics and tyrants such as Hugo Chavez, whose outlandish statements such as the following are beyond comprehension, “I am a socialist, and I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, who was the first socialist, just as Judas was the first capitalist.”

I do not have time to go into the many other countries which followed the path to totalitarianism and tyranny, such as Italy or Germany under the Nazis and Hitler. Hitler was frequently lauded by well-meaning people and usurpers of power that he was a god. Eventually, he believed it himself.

He envisioned himself as a savior of a “super race” and believed his ideology was the only acceptable approach. That reminds me of many in Washington today.  They envision themselves as gods. The ultimate demise of Italy’s Fascist Government was partly fueled by their efforts to support the economy through increased spending and continually expanding the public works programs. This only increased the deficit, making it unsustainable, resulting in the nation’s economy and political system crumbling.

That brings me to the United States today.   Our founders intended to create a system that encouraged “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” They hoped to promote freedom, national stability, and unrestrained free enterprise. Their vision held that this would result in America becoming the world’s greatest economy and military superpower, spreading liberty and freedom across the globe.

Politicians, in their quest for power, have sought to grow a much larger and centralized government. This action has transformed the representative government envisioned by the founders into a vast interventionist organism that seeks to control every aspect of people’s lives. Who is to blame? WE ARE! We allowed it to happen.

Thomas Jefferson said, “It is the people who are the ultimate guardians of their own liberty.” Alexander Hamilton said, “We are now forming a republican government. Real liberty is neither found in despotism, nor in the extremes of democracy, but in moderate governments.” John Locke said it most eloquently as he identified the government’s role as protecting the “natural rights of life, liberty, and estate.”

In Federalist No. 47, James Madison warned, “The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elective may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.” How we need to heed that warning in today’s America! The use of federal agencies and courts and circumventing the Constitution frequently by the Left meets this definition.

The Left’s determined desire is to implement the ideology of despotism, and they seek to bypass the Constitution, which was designed and defined by a system of “checks and balances.”  They do so unapologetically, and if we allow them to continue in power, we will discover that they become more emboldened with each election. In that state of boldness, they demonstrate their total disregard for the will or welfare of the American people.

So, what do we do? For me, there are several things that I MUST do!

  • Engage in intercessory prayer for the nation, the leaders, and the people. In my view, this is the first order of business, but I understand that the order may differ for others.
  • Diligently work through writing, speaking, praying, and working to convince as many as possible of the dangers inherent in the current path.
  • Attempt to expose the falsehoods told to the American people by this Administration and the left.
  • Attempt to articulate the Constitutional ideology the founders clearly defined in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and their numerous writings, papers, and books.
  • Contribute and seek to raise funds for those candidates whom I believe most nearly embody the principles of liberty that God and the founders envisioned.
  • Go to the polls, exercise my rights, privilege, and duty, and vote.  I believe that if I do not vote, I am voting by abstention to continue the current path.

This is a brief synopsis of where we are today, although not a short post. I hope that as you take the time to read this, you will find inspiration to join the effort to get the message out in support of freedom and liberty!

It is my firm conviction that God will take care of His children. I also believe our responsibility is to labor for our fellow man and future generations. Our responsibility is to ensure they have the privilege of living in freedom and liberty. If you desire to use any or all of this post, please feel free to do so. If you know anyone it might benefit, please forward it to them. I would consider it an honor should you decide to follow my future posts.

May God bless you in your efforts for America and His Kingdom, and may the blessings and favor of God be upon America and the Free World!

WE MUST INFORM OURSELVES THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT…

I do not want to open the proverbial can of worms and release so many potential scenarios so as to distract from my questions. Rather I suggest that it is up to each of us to become informed about things political and governmental.  The government not only will not inform us of the truth, but they may also not know it, and if they do, they would prefer we did not.  If we are ignorant of the Constitution’s actual provisions or the limitations imposed upon the government, those in power will abuse their offices.

The Supreme Court has, in the past, and will in the future, make rulings they do not have the Constitutional power to decide.  The usurpation of authority is not new and will continue until and unless we are both informed and unified sufficiently to demand Congress follow the Constitution.

The Supreme Court is likely to, once again, give itself the authority to rewrite the Second Amendment.  They may not rule against the citizen’s rights, but each time, there is the danger that the SCOTUS will decide that an inalienable right is a governmental right and reduce or remove it.  If that happens, our republic will be in deep trouble.

I believe, as do others far more informed than I, that the Second Amendment was placed in the Constitution for the express purpose of preventing the federal government from tapering with our inalienable right to ‘keep and bear arms.’  The amendment had nothing to do with hunting but was primarily designed to provide citizens with a means of self-defense, even against the government.

The ruling of the Supreme Court will likely be a 5-4 decision, and with the swing votes on the court, who knows how the questionable jurists will rule?  The Leftists will stand in a bloc, but what will Roberts and others who are supposedly conservative do?  I am always concerned when the court ventures into areas they have no authority.

However, if they rule against our inalienable right to keep and bear arms, even in limited situations, the vast majority of the populace will accept it as “the law” and comply.  That fits the definition and condition of tyranny.  Someone said, “There is no tyranny without obedience to the tyrant.”  I believe that our ignorance regarding the actual wording of the Constitution is more powerful than tyrannical force.

I read a quote from Dr. Richard Price, a Welsh minister and friend of the Founding Fathers, and it succulently addressed the issue and need.  He said, “Give them (the people) just ideas of civil government and let them know that it is an expedient for gaining protection against injury and defending their rights, and it will be possible for them to submit to governments which, like most of those now in the word, are usurpations on the rights of men, and little better than contrivances for enabling the few to oppress the many.  Ignorance is the parent of bigotry, intolerance, persecution, and slavery.  Inform and instruct mankind; these evils will be excluded.”

Our Founding Fathers embraced the idea that tyrannical government was evil and that ignorance was the doorway through which it could enter.  Thomas Jefferson wrote to Charles Yancey in 1816 – “If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what has never been and never will be.”  Ignorance may be bliss to some, but to those desiring to control the masses, it is a weapon and a tool.

James Madison argued, “The advancement and diffusion of knowledge is the only guardian of liberty.”  The government will not openly and honestly tell the public what the Constitution allows, even if they know.  Most of those in government continually look for loopholes to infringe upon our liberties and advance their agendas.  We will not be sufficiently armed to combat those usurpations unless we are informed.

The Constitution provides for three branches of government, and each branch has limitations and responsibilities clearly defined in the document.  There is no provision for the Supreme Court to legislate from the bench.  It is a very valuable arm of our government, but like the other branches, it weakens our pillars of freedom if it goes beyond its legitimate authority.

We have been apprised of the incredible overreach of the Biden administration in censorship, using social media and Big Tech to silence all dissent to their agenda.  Judge Terry Doughtry detailed the government’s manipulation of social media in a 155-page memorandum.  If you read it, you will be astounded at what transpired and is, in many ways, still transpiring.

This censorship was not limited to one or two agencies but was a tool used by virtually every governmental agency.  Judge Doughty said the actions were “almost dystopian.”  It is Orwellian and incredibly dangerous. At the same time, I would never argue that there are no situations where the government has not only a right but a duty to monitor posts; silencing opposition does not fall within those narrow windows.

If there are posts involving criminal activities or criminal conspiracies, they should be reported.  If there are national security threats, we need to know.  If there are attempts to encourage voter fraud, it needs to be exposed.  There are some legitimate things to be monitored, but opinion is not one of them.  Our First Amendment Right is to be allowed. We must recognize the right to think what we choose, say what we believe, and live our lives unencumbered by an overreaching and overcontrolling government.

I am convinced that if we want to understand the Leftist ideology and agenda, we need to understand Marxism.  I have been told to pursue logic, and I would understand, but sometimes, that only leads to confusion.  Sometimes, things are so illogical that we become overwhelmed in our pursuit of logic.  The only way to know and understand what is happening today is to recognize and identify the ideology upon which it is established.

Remember the co-founder of BLM, Patrisse Collars, admission, or declaration?  She said the leaders of the movement were “all trained Marxists.”  Sadly, too many paid no attention and failed to connect the dots because of the fear of being labeled insensitive or racist.  Marxism, at its core, is a view of a world divided into two groups: the oppressors and the oppressed.

The Frankfurt School, established in the 1920s, is the key to understanding how Marxism is being used today.  The advancement of the idea of ‘critical theory’ was defined in the work of Max Horkheimer, “Traditional and Critical Theory,” published in 1937.  It expanded Marx’s idea of the “superstructure.”  The superstructure comprises everything influencing our “modes of thought and views of life.”  Indoctrination is slanted to achieve a particular end.

The modern leftist movement has expanded critical theory beyond simply analyzing the bourgeoisie and the proletariat and morphed into numerous causes and power struggles.  We see evidence of that in sexual preference, abortion, gender identity, etc.  It tries to explain all disparate outcomes between the oppressor/oppressed groups.  It equates any unequal outcomes to institutions, not individuals.  It is designed to destroy a free republic and transform it into one controlled by the beneficent dictatory who will make all things equal and fair.

America, if we do not do our due diligence and educate ourselves, we will fall prey to the diabolical and become deceived by the duplicitous diatribe and rhetoric being advanced.  Sadly, many following various causes do not know the end game; they only seek what they desire and perceive as equitable.  They, too, will suffer if this is allowed to thrive and survive.

We must return to moral, social, political, and fiscal sanity, or we will see the Republic shredded and transformed into totalitarianism.

God bless you, and God bless America!

AMERICA, AMERICA, WHEREFORE ART THOU?

The America I knew in my early years and the America of our Founding Fathers seems to be a distant memory.  Things are transpiring in our American political system that we would have thought impossible just a few years ago.  Things are happening that are the characteristics of Totalitarian Regimes and Tyrannical Rule.

Is America a Free Constitutional Republic no longer?  Have we allowed the political elitists, globalists, activists, and seekers of ‘fundamental transformation’ to prevail?  Are politicians and the public so detached from reality and sanity that the fall of our Republic is not only possible but probably?  Has the Republic already fallen?

In my view, the modern Leftists are no longer concerned about the blatant hypocrisy in their policies and actions.  They are no longer concerned about the incredible injustice that is the fruit of their agenda.  They only care about one thing – POWER!  I acknowledge that political elitists on both sides of the aisle are desirous of that plum and willing to do anything to achieve it.  However, the Left have gone full throttle and pushed their chips to the center of the table.  They are All-In!

Recently, I was disturbed by the blatant disparity in justice and the overt targeting of anyone opposing the leftist agenda.  Two women in the 70s, Jean Marshall and Joan Bell, face up to eleven years in federal prison for blocking the entrance to an abortion clinic in 2020.  The charge is that they violated the ‘Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.’  An act that the Biden team has been actively enforcing against all pro-life activists while ignoring actions by the pro-choice activists and other Leftists.

If I compare the possible penalty of these two women to that of the 42-year-old North Dakota man who ran over and killed an eighteen-year-old kid for being a Republican, it should be disturbing.  His sentence was five years in jail.  He was given credit for time served and will spend about four years in prison.  So, if you take the life of a conservative, you get a mild sentence, but if you seek to save the life of an unborn, you get a penalty more than double.  America, what happened to us?

You may hate Donald John Trump more than Lucifer himself, but surely you can admit that the charges against him and the absence of charges against Hillary Clinton scream hypocrisy.  If you question an election as a Democrat, it is honorable, but if you do so as a Republican, you are guilty of Treason or Insurrection.

Compare the sentences of the January 6 participants and the BLM and Antifa rioters; you again must see the incredible disparity and hypocrisy.  At least one of the January 6 participants received a 22-year sentence, but a BLM – Antifa rioter who set a deadly fire in a Minneapolis pawn shop was given ten years.  The prosecutor invoked the name of Martin Luther King, Jr. and asked the judge for leniency.  Wow!

We have the Biden administration with all the power, strength, force, and wherewithal of federal agencies protecting Hunter and Joe Biden.  Even in the light of a recent revelation that more than $250K was wired to Hunter from China, and the beneficiary address listed on the wires was Joe Biden’s home address in Delaware!  At the time of the wires, Hunter was living in California.  It smells like a rat to me, but I am a conservative; therefore, my opinion is invalid (at least to the Leftists).

I saw a poll conducted by RealClear Opinion Research that was enlightening.  74% of Republicans and 61% of Independents believe Speech should be legal “under any circumstances.”  55% of Democrats agreed.  Although that suggests that most voters want Speech to remain free, we must continue to see the accurate picture.

One-third of Democrats believe that Americans have ‘too much freedom.’  That’s right!  Too much freedom!  A majority of them approve of the government censoring social media content.  75% of them think the government has a mandate to limit ‘hateful’ posts on social media.  But hateful posts are deemed anything contrary to the Leftist’s view and ideological agenda.

This lunacy extends far beyond the political arena, and the rabidity of the WOKE mentality is morphing clinical therapy to the point it is becoming worthless.  Have you heard of “Cultural Humility Training?”  I had not, but it is something that is being implemented for therapists and counselors.

The proposed idea is that it will improve the skills of those mental health providers.  This stems from a philosophy that imputes compulsory collective racist guilt to white culture.  The term ‘cultural humility’ is a code word to ascribe to white culture the label of being incurably racist.  It is designed to impose guilt on white professionals, making them feel that they are collectively racists and practice an incurable obsession to oppress non-whites.  They deem that unforgivable, and no amount of repentance can attain forgiveness.  The desire is to humiliate whites and demand self-degeneration permanently.

This is an excerpt from their propaganda materials – “Culturally humble counselors are able to set aside their own beliefs and values and act as allies with clients, working toward positive personal change as well as advocating for larger societal change.”  I contend that anyone who sets aside their core beliefs and values is dangerously close to being psychopathic.

This course confuses or purposefully advances a false narrative regarding the difference between biases and values.  Biases are defined as mental limitations, whereas values are the foundation of human consciousness.  Right valuation based on unchanging truth is a powerful safeguard against bias and prejudice.

As an example of how radically WOKE this theory is and how damaging it is to our Freedom and, any hope of finding a bridge to span the chasm of our divide is found in what should be a laughable example they offered. The author of the material suggested that the reason Irish, Italian, and German immigrant groups assimilated better than the more recent Asian and Latina groups was due to skin pigmentation.

The author totally discounted the Irish, Italian, and German immigrants’ gratitude for being allowed to immigrate.  That gratitude propelled them to learn the language and become English-speaking patriotic citizens.  Their success was often tied to their assimilation and gratitude.  Not so, demands the author. It was simply because the earlier settlers looked at their physical image, and that racist view is the reason.  Wow!

This view insists that if you are white, you are incapable of not being an oppressor.  You will naturally commit “mocroassaults, microinsults, and microinvalidations” on those not like you!  The therapists are encouraged to have a non-white observer sit in on the sessions to watch for one of those micro-in-famines!  Are you kidding me?  Having someone sit in on the therapy session to destroy further the psyche of the person seeking help is not productive.

America, where are you?  What happened to the ideal of the Declaration of Independence that “All are created equal and have certain inalienable rights given by God?”  What happened to recognizing that we are not all the same, but if we are Americans, we have the same rights and privileges guaranteed by the Constitution and God Himself?   If we allow this insanity to continue, America will never recover, and we will be under the thumb of the Dictatorial Tyranny of the Left.

We can rectify this, but not without prayer and forming a united front to fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom!

God bless you, and God bless America!

BLAST FROM THE PAST…

In about 1962, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles released a song entitled “You Really Got A Hold On Me.”  Some of the lyrics are especially interesting, and I want to revisit them briefly.  Join me for a trip down memory lane or ancient history, depending on your age.

They opened with the words:  “I don’t like you, but I love you…”  The message conveyed was that the other person had such a hold on them that they could only think about the other person.  Love blinded the reality of treatment, and the confession of “I don’t like you was overpowered by, but I love you.”

I sometimes wonder if that is not the condition of many in America today.  People Do Not Like many things that the government or political parties are doing, but they love the entitlements and utopian ideology offered.  Reality seems to take a back seat to their visualization of the concept they are presenting or maybe the personal benefit via some entitlement. Perhaps even a commitment due to race, gender, sexual preference, activism, or ideological agenda blinds our minds to reality.  Whatever many today are saying about government and government overstepping its constitutional bounds – “I don’t like you…”

The next verse says:  “I don’t want you, but I need you…”  That is possibly even more revealing about today’s world.  We do not want what is being done to our government, liberties, and freedoms, but we have the misguided impression that we Need Big Government to continue being the Golden Goose laying the Golden Eggs.  The acknowledgment in the song, “You do me wrong,” is clear, but then the offset, “My love is strong…”  Is it love or a sense of obligation, dependency, and fear of having to stand on our own?

The next verse presents an amazing declaration:  “I wanna leave you, don’t wanna stay here.  Don’t wanna spend another day here.  I wanna split now…”  That is the cry of many that I speak to about the present state of our Constitutional Republic, but then I hear the same sentiment as the song:  “I can’t quit now.  You’ve really got a hold on me.”  Once the government or anything creates a condition of dependency, we are hooked and find it virtually impossible to break free of the bondage, dependence, and lack of self-worth or value and are slaves to the system.

The cry of many can be found in the words:  “Baby, I love you, and all I want you to do is just hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me…”  So many live in such a state of desperation and despair that they genuinely want the government, someone, or something to care for them and show them love.

That will never come from the government, for it is an impersonal system manipulated by professional political elitists who are interested in power, not people.  It will not come from uncaring and unloving people who use and manipulate, and it will not come from drugs, alcohol, or even money.  Real Love, compassion, and concern do not come from government, politicians, or selfish manipulators. The sooner we face that reality, the sooner we can hope to be freed from our prison of dependency.

So, what do we do?  I have discovered that abuse is the likely result when anyone becomes overly dependent upon another.  I have seen it in relationships where a woman or man develops such a dependency on another that their significance is tied to maintaining a fictional relationship and opening the door to abuse.

Love does not abuse nor become overly dependent.  I have seen it in economics, churches, and politics, and my heart breaks for those enslaved and blinded by the need to be wanted, cared for, and loved.

Today, I pray that God will help each one break free of that which enslaves.  May the Lord help us to learn to place our trust and confidence in Him and see reality for reality and refuse to be driven by a need that imprisons and be led by love that empowers us to become better!

Our children and grandchildren deserve better than what we are allowing to be left to them. It is time that we wake up and reclaim our Republic as we join the fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom!

God bless you, and God bless America!

FRANKLY, SCARLETT, HE DOESN’T GIVE A D#@#.

Yes, I took that line from Gone with the Wind when Clark Gable’s character Rhett Butler issued the infamous line to Vivien Leigh’s character Scarlett O’Hara.  He said, “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a d…”  That is how Joe Biden and his administration feel about the Constitution and the decisions of the courts ruling against them.  They do not give a rat’s rear end because they believe they are above the law and entitled to do whatever they please.

The question is, “Are they right?”  It seems that they are so protected by the judicial and legal entities of government that they can do whatever they please.  That is a shame and a bad sign for our system of government.  If allowed to continue, our beloved America will be a memory, not a reality.

Even though the United States Supreme Court ruled that his earlier program was illegal, they are doing an end-run around the Constitution and doing it anyway.  The new plan is designed to forgive longstanding debt by students after they have paid 20 to 25 years.  They are seeking to include late payments and payments deferred.  They do not give a hoot about what is legal or illegal.  This is a touchy issue with many, but a debt is a debt, and where we need to focus is on the gouging by the colleges and universities.

Cocaine Gate, as some have labeled it, quickly faded into the shadows even though the Secret Service acknowledged that another substance was also found.  They found both cocaine and marijuana. Marijuana was found twice before the cocaine.  So, is there a drug problem at the Biden White House?

There are 182 lockers in the foyer, and currently, locker number 40, where the cocaine was found, is missing the key.  It vanished into thin air, it seems.  There were over 500 people who went through the West Wing on the weekend when the cocaine was found, and not one was classified as a suspect.  The Secret Service wanted to close the case with no arrests or identifications.  Imagine that!  There are no logs of the lockers and no surveillance of those lockers.  That is questionable, one would think.

The Secret Service did a background check on the 500 individuals who came through that weekend. They searched for prior drug use or convictions for drugs.  What about the staffers?  Democratic Congressman Jamie Raskin insisted it would be ludicrous for the Secret Service to test every potential suspect.  However, there is the acknowledgment that the standing policy for the Capitol Complex is that if drugs are found, everybody gets tested.  Why not at the White House?

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre scolded the media as “irresponsible” because someone asked if the cocaine belonged to Joe or Hunter Biden.  She insisted that the family was not there that weekend, including Friday.  Oops, somebody forgot to give her the memo that the family, including Hunter, was there on Friday before they left for the weekend.  Oh well, if they say they were not there, even if they were there, then they must not have been there, right?

Using the Secret Services explanation for closing the investigation, one has to ask, as has been asked, “What if it was ricin?”  Under their explanation, they would have no way of uncovering who brought it in.  What?  An agency with a $3 billion-a-year budget cannot solve a case that a rookie detective could unravel relatively quickly.  Does that have the aroma of ‘cover-up?’  You tell me!

Joe Biden picked the head of the Secret Service in September of last year.  Is there a connection?  She was on Biden’s security detail when Biden was the Vice President.  She was placed in that position after the Secret Service made some statements to the January 6 Committee that the administration did not like, and the chief retired soon after that.  Coincidence?  Maybe, and maybe, this move was to insulate the Bidens.   Respect the Law?  Why should because they are in control of the law?

Joe Biden, like many of the national Democrats and too many Republicans, considers, as did Barack Obama, the Constitution a nuisance.  The Biden team has used the might of the federal government to censor and suppress our Freedom of Speech and is undergoing a lawsuit by the Missouri A/G.  The Constitution bars the government from censoring; therefore, when Biden and his cohorts coerced social media outlets to do their dirty work, they violated our guiding document.  But, as I said at the outset, “Frankly, he does not give a d….”

We are watching our government become visibly a participant in what could be called institutional lying.  We reached that place due to many factors, including bureaucratic and political ineptitude and corruption.

They spin their spin and do not seem concerned that anyone might use that thing sitting on their shoulders above the neck for what was designed – THINKING.  Thomas Sowell articulately spoke to the flaws of the Affirmative Action Program and, like many of this ethnicity, believed it was demeaning to Blacks.  Sowell and many others believed it was a blight on everyone it supposedly helped.  When the government, business, or institution creates a position for anyone, not based on merit, they are saying, “You could not have achieved this success on your own.”  That is insulting to anyone with any sense of personal pride.

We have watched the federal government, mainly under the Biden administration, trample on our 1st Amendment Rights.  The censorship that transpired almost exclusively targeted conservative speech.  Anything other than the approved rhetoric and ideological speech was deemed hate speech and banned whenever and wherever possible.  That is Orwellian, and they used COVID-19 as their pathway to achieve their objective.  Never let a good crisis go to waste.  But, when they do not give a d…, what do you expect?

I have seen statistics that say that less than ten percent of Americans trust the government.  Why should they?   We are watching the unraveling of our United States as it morphs into a totalitarian cabal given rise because of state-sanctioned lies.

We are in a cultural war.  This administration and the powers behind their throne are working diligently to dismantle America.  They are using fear regarding climate change and many other divisive elements to create a paranoia that people willingly cede their inalienable rights in the hope of safety.  Benjamin Franklin spoke to that, and Ronald Reagan’s succulent words should be remembered, “The nine most terrifying words are I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.”  Please do not help us; your help is destroying us!

We must return to our moral moorings and follow the prescription of 2 Chronicles 7:14. We need God’s help and take action at the polls to ensure that only candidates who will honor the Constitution and follow the Rule of Law are elected when they do not, we need to send them packing, at the earliest possible opportunity.

God bless you, and God bless America!

NO CORRUPTION, NOT EVEN A SMIDGEN, RIGHT?

That is what the Democrats, Media, FBI, CIA, HSA, IRS, and the Biden team would have us believe regarding the Biden family’s questionable activities.  I say it that way because there have been no serious convictions, so alleged is possibly the right word.  However, the preponderance of the evidence is growing larger and larger with each new revelation.

Hunter Biden’s ex-business partner Devon Archer testified that Hunter put then Vice President Joe Biden on the phone with business associates at least two dozen times.  But wait, Joe knew nothing of Hunter’s business deals, right?   In light of his cognitive condition, that still might be true, but not from a legal standpoint.

One of those meetings was in Dubai on December 4, 2015.  You remember that Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company, paid Hunter $83,000 monthly to be on their board.  Nice work if you can get it, right?  Why would they pay a man who knew virtually nothing about the energy business that kind of money?  Could it be because his father was the sitting Vice President and could grant special favors?

It seems that Vadym Pozharski, a senior Burisma executive, phoned Hunter and said that Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, needed to speak to Hunter urgently.  Then he asked, “Can you ring your dad?”  He indicated that Burisma bigwigs needed their support.  They asked for help to shut down the criminal investigation that named Zlochevsky by name.  That is when the amazing revelation that Joe told the Ukrainian government, “I’m leaving in six hours.  If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.”  The $1 billion in foreign aid.  No corruption there, right?

Now we are apprised that the major Democrat donor, Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali, who bought Hunter’s art, was then named to a prestigious commission by Joe Biden.  Interestingly, the art industry is not subject to the Bank Secrecy Act’s (BSA) requirements, which mandate detailed procedures to prevent money laundering.  Imagine that Hunter entered a lucrative business with little scrutiny to identify possible financial wrongdoing.  No corruption, is possibly there, right?

We have been informed that the FBI tipped off the Biden team the night before Hunter faced his tax and gun probe interview.  We are told that on the day of the interview (nice, sanitized term), Federal agents were told to stand by and not approach Hunter Biden.  They had to wait for approval for higher up.  As a result, the IRS and FBI criminal investigators never got to interview Hunter Biden as a part of the investigation.  But there is no corruption to be found, right?

Most of us, if we were in Hunter’s place using drugs and possessing a Colt Cobra .38 Special, would have been indicted on federal firearms charges and sent to prison.  What did Hunter get?  What I would graciously call a slap on the wrist and told, “Bad Boy.”

Merrick Garland, the U.S. Attorney General, is extremely partisan and gave Hunter a sweetheart deal but has thrown the books at others who are conservatives or Trump supporters.  The judge rejected i. I believe it should have been incumbent upon the judge to hold up the deal until he had heard from Garland, Weiss, and the six witnesses that whistleblower Gary Shapley’s legal team had identified.  But, again, there is not even a smidgen of corruption, right?

Even with all the hoopla surrounding Hunter, he has continued to contact foreign agents, including those from China.  The damning revelations suggest that where there is smoke, there is a raging inferno of corruption, influence peddling, money laundering, and possibly treasonous activities by the Biden family.  Their bottom line seems to be their focus, not America or the American people.   We need answers, and we need them now!

The New York Times conceded that one of the bombshell claims made about the DOJ’s mishandling of the Biden probe, but they buried it deep inside their long article.  It was found in the 21st paragraph. That is deep enough that most readers would have abandoned the lengthy article before discovering that revelation or admission.  But, again, there is no corruption or attempt to shield the Biden family.  Not even a smidgen, right?

I was amused by an article titled, “Biden torched for denying knowledge of Hunter’s ‘business deals:’ ‘Even lies about lying.’”  What would you expect? That is what those prone to lying do; they lie!  There are so many smoking guns that one can hardly see for the smoke filling the air.

Almost every U.S. Attorney General has been loyal to the administration that appointed them.  However, we should have a reasonable expectation that they will not violate the law to protect against wrongdoing by their boss.  It appears that the FBI, the IRS, and the DOJ are all colluding and complicit in the overt protection and shielding of the Biden family.

With the immensity of allegations swirling around the Biden family, how is a special prosecutor not named to look into this?  But to be honest, if one were appointed, it would be an exercise in futility, a waste of tax-payer dollars and drag out the matter.  This could be handled quickly, and justice should be done as required by the Constitution and the Law.

Now, let me move beyond the corruption to the health of Joe Biden and say that while I empathize with him and his family over his cognitive and other possible physical conditions, he is sitting as the president. That means we cannot look beyond those issues and dismiss his other actions out of sympathy or empathy.

I believe but have no way of confirming that Joe Biden has some severe medical conditions that make him unfit to be president.  How can anyone think the man has his cognitive reason when he ends a speech giving a diatribe about gun control and says for no apparent reason, “God save the queen, man.”  The queen was deceased.  What was he saying and why?

In that speech, he made some incredibly illogical statements, including, “Put a pistol on a brace, it turns into a gun — makes it more — you can have a higher-caliber weapon, higher-caliber bullet coming out of that gun.”  What are you talking about, sir?  What?  Of course, we dare not forget his ludicrous statement, “We have plans to build a railroad from the Pacific across the Indian Ocean.”   Just a few days earlier, he could not remember Winston Churchill’s name when speaking to the Prime Minister of Britain.

I shudder at the thought of Vice President Kamala Harris occupying the Oval Office, but something must be done.  Can we survive until November 2024 or January 2025?  I honestly do not know, but I know we desperately need some divine help, and we need to unite and back a candidate who has the cognitive reason to serve and will follow the Constitution and the Rule of Law.

God bless you, and God bless America!

ONCE AGAIN, I ASK, WHAT IS AMERICA’S GREATEST NEED TODAY?

Many things come to mind when I ask or am asked that question. I am sure everyone has their own unique perspective and idea.  I have been in prayer and musing on America, where we are, where we have been, and where we are going, some agonizing thoughts have come to mind.  When I witness what, in my mind, is an assault on our American foundation, the pillars of freedom, and the principles upon which America was founded, I become agitated!

I wish I could say that it was always ‘righteous indignation,’ but sometimes it is unadulterated, blood-boiling anger. Anger that could quickly morph into hate, and I fight against that with a passion.  I do not want hate to fill my heart; although I hate sin and the result of sin, I do not want to hate the sinner.

I hate the attempts to dismantle and unravel our constitutional framework and diminish the moral fabric of our society. Still, I do not want to hate those who disagree with me about what is best and the direction we should take. Hate will never produce genuine and lasting victory and progress!

“What is the greatest need of America today?”   I believe it is National Healing!  You may disagree, and that is your right and privilege.  I will not argue that there are not some incredibly imposing and threatening dangers facing our republic; there are!

Yet, I know from the Bible and history that a house divided against itself cannot stand, become incredibly weak, and open to an invasion of ideologies and forces that would dismantle and destroy us.  I do not believe most want that!

The Bible offers us a prescription for Healing in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “and My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.”  [Amplified].

I have watched some of the presentations by the media, political pundits, activists, and protesters over the past several years.  The riots that broke out when Donald J. Trump was elected in 2016 did not occur in 2021.  I am not discounting the events of January 6th, but I am saying that those of us on the Right do not conduct ourselves in the same way as the followers of the toxic liberal ideology of the Left.   I believe there were so many abnormalities, if not outright fraud and criminality, during the election that I cannot be called legitimate.  However, it is what it is, and we must deal with the reality of where we are.

We will expand the divide if we allow ourselves to focus on our particular ideology, pet agenda, personal preference, or pet peeve.  If we allow ourselves to be drawn into Hate and continue to fan the flames of discord, we will fail as a nation and suffer individually and collectively.

I continue to believe what Donald J. Trump said in his inaugural address in 2017.  I believe it is a view that is vitally important for us to focus on.  He said that UNITED, America is Unstoppable!  He said other things about setting aside our prejudices and biases and realizing that we are All Americans and America should be first, not personal preference.

I would never suggest anyone abandon their convictions or principles.  I would never do that, but I suggest that we resist and reject Hate!  I suggest we seek common ground through which we can work together for the good of America and Freedom at home and abroad.

We both lose if you hate me, or I hate you based on skin color.  If I hate you or you hate me based on personality, we both are reduced to incredibly small people.  If I hate you or you hate me based on which side of a political issue we stand on, we dig a chasm that will prevent us from solving our nation’s problems.

I have seen the protest signs over the past few years, and one of those from 2016, “Love Trumps Hate.”   That is the truth!  But it diminishes the sentiment when a sign next to that sign calls for the assignation or some other incredibly vile act of violence and hate.  Love does triumph over Hate!  However, we dare never forget that Hate and Love do not flow out of the same fountain or heart simultaneously.

America’s greatest need, in my mind, is HEALING!  I am convinced that Healing can only truly come from God.  I was appalled when Barack Obama won in 2008 and significantly discouraged when he won again in 2012. Still, I did not stop being an American and wanting what was best for America.

Did I oppose Mr. Obama?  Yes, I did.  Was I vocal?  Yes, I was.  Am I disturbed that Joe Biden is the occupant of the White House?  Yes, I am.  But I have not, nor will I call his murder, the rape of his wife, or seek to destroy the framework of our society, government, commerce, or community.

I found almost nothing good in the policies of Mr. Obama or Mr. Biden. You may find nothing good in the policies of Mr. Trump.  But if we love America, we will set aside our prejudices and biases, and resist the tendency to HATE that which is different; we can survive and thrive as a nation.  HEALING is America’s greatest need, and it is my greatest need as a human being.

What I do Hate is:

  • I hate the message and actions of Islamic jihadism.
  • I hate the murder of innocent babies in the womb.
  • I hate the attempts to strip all references and mention of God from our public stage.
  • I hate the fundamental transformation of America into something other than the nation we were established to be and the principles upon which we were formed.
  • I hate the works of evil no matter what form it comes.

However, I do not want to be filled with Hate and thereby prevented from having Love for my fellow man.  I want to be a part of the Healing of our Nation, not a part of the perpetuation of division.

I suspect that some may not receive my sermon well, but I hope you hear my heart.  I do not want anyone to abandon their principles and discard their core convictions.  I want you to protest what you believe is wrong but do so in a civil, peaceful, constitutional, and legal manner.  I want all of us to be able to stand for what we believe is right but to do so as rational and mature people.  I am praying for Healing in our land and am committed to interceding for America.

I pray and desire that we return to God and become a people who “seek FIRST the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness.”  I pray that we become a people who understand that just as the human body has many different parts, the Body of Christ does as well.  I pray that we realize that we are all descendants of Adam & Eve and that although we have different ethnic backgrounds and skin pigmentation, we are all part of the Human Race.  I pray that we will allow our differences to be aired peaceably, stop focusing on our victimization, and pursue peace.

God bless you, and God bless America is my prayer and desire!
