THE HANDWRITING ON THE WALL…

I realize that some will officially place me on the list of doomsday prophets with this post.  I have prayerfully and carefully watched the economic events of the past few decades with concern.   I am concerned about the health of the U.S. dollar.  I have concerns due to world conditions, which have been decades in development, will cause the collapse of the U.S. dollar.

If that happens, the world economy could be plunged into the tank.  That would leave millions of Americans and people worldwide in financial ruin.    I do not know when, but I am convinced there will be a dramatic economic shift soon.

If we continue the economic course, the U.S. has been on for decades.  If we continue feeding the insatiable appetite of Congress for spending.  If we continue allowing our nation’s debt and deficit to grow exponentially, a collapse is imminent and guaranteed.  The path we have been on is unsustainable.  That is something that most economic forecasters agree with, and it seems to be a planned destruction.

I do not know how anyone could assume that the United States government can continue its unbridled spending.   Allowing the Federal Reserve to continue printing money is rendering our currency more and more worthless.  The continuation and expansion of ‘entitlement programs’ and ‘wasteful spending’ can only have dire consequences.

Those feeding at the government trough of entitlements seem to believe that the ‘Golden Goose’ of the Nanny State Federal Government has an endless supply of money.  In order to provide for them, they are okay with printing money at an insane rate.   It is more than a problem; it is a disaster waiting to happen.   It is just a matter of time.

I’ve had some argue that this will not happen because the ‘power brokers’ of the world will not allow it to happen.  Those high-rollers need the American dollar and will protect it.  If you genuinely believe they have not ‘hedged’ their bets, you are living in Wonderland, and you should see the Tin Man any moment now.   I think that the ‘money people’ of the world will make money if the U.S. dollar remains or if it goes by the wayside.

I believe that it is just a matter of when it becomes economically, politically, nationally, and internationally profitable to them.  America is virtually, if not literally, owned by other countries, the money and power brokers of the world.  If they deem it in the interest of their power, profit, and position to destroy the U.S. dollar, it is gone.

We have reached or are dangerously close to the point of no return.  If we do not rein in this spending and debt train quickly, we could see what Willard Cantelon, a preacher, wrote about decades ago.   He wrote a book called The Day The Dollar Dies, which many believed theoretically but not practically.

That is the same philosophy many have regarding the prophecies of the Bible.  They accept the idea that it will happen, just not to them or in their lifetime.  Therefore, no real change in practices or lifestyles is needed.  If those prophecies are accurate, some generation will see their fulfillment, and the collapse of the World Economy will become a reality.  The only question is which generation?

I read a report by one economist who said the talk of ‘hyperinflation’ regarding the British pound and the U.S. dollar should be viewed not as if it happens but in hindsight that it has already happened.   He cited that if you bought a house for $20,000 in 1913 using U.S. dollars, you would need $1 million in today’s dollars.

If that is accurate or even remotely accurate, we are looking at a devaluation rate of 98.5 to 99.5% of the British pound and the U.S. dollar, and if we are already there, where do we go to salvage either?  The Federal Government has been making plans to take your money, including your retirement accounts, and redistribute it to themselves, not struggling people.   Hopefully, that will be averted under this administration.

The government shutdowns or slowdowns are not about people but about power.   If the government does not continue operating at its recent rate, the lobbyists, consultants, and special interests will not get what they want.  That would mean that the legislators would not continue to become more and more powerful and wealthy personally.

It has never been about us; it has always been about them!   There would be ample funds to help the truly needy and do the government’s true constitutional duties if it were not for the incredible excess and waste that we have today in government.

If in your personal finances each month you charge much more than you bring in, you will find that in a short time, you are barely and basically just paying the interest on your debt. If that continued to the point that the interest was more than you brought in, you would have a complete economic collapse and be destroyed financially.  The Federal Government is operating that way, so what is different?  NOTHING!

Based on what I see politically, nationally, internationally, and biblically, I believe a crash of epic proportions is dangerously near.   If a collapse happens, the headlines will read:  “Panic in the Streets,” “Rioting and Looting Rampant,” “Chaos and Anarchy in America,” and many other descriptive headlines.

In an economic collapse, hunger and fear would drive people to looting, murder, and viciousness that would be beyond anything most of us can fathom.   I believe that we face a greater danger economically in America than through a direct military-type attack.   When you couple that with the porous borders, incredibly inept foreign policy, and attention to terrorism of the past few years, there is cause for concern.  Again, hopefully, we will enjoy a respite under this administration.

My message may not cheer you up.  However, I am sounding the alarm now, hoping to forewarn and forearm.  Hopefully, we will take steps to ‘hedge your bets’ financially against the decreasing and dying dollar.

Even more importantly, I urge everyone to look to God.  I believe that we are soon to see a time where, unless God sustains us, we perish individually and collectively.  I believe this time will be one of the greatest times of revival and trouble the world has ever seen.  I want to be on God’s side when it comes, and at the same time, I recall the words of the Bible spoken by the Lord, “Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.”  We must do what we know to do, yet we must become so utterly reliant on GOD that we live without fear!

The federal government has demonstrated a lack of trustworthiness, and I do not mean just the Obama and Biden administrations.  We have a very small window of opportunity and chance, hopefully, and we must reclaim our nation!

God bless you, and God bless America!
