I have over 70 years of experience living on planet Earth.  I am heading toward the designation of Octogenarian, and if the Lord tarries his coming, I hope to live many more years and proclaim the goodness of God and the value of freedom. 

My title is based on a biblical quote of Jesus’ words in Matthew 15:14 – “Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”  He was speaking about spiritual matters, but it is applicable to every facet of life.  When someone clueless and out of touch with reality tries to lead, it is disastrous for everyone. 

There is an old adage that some use, “Even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then,” attempting to lessen the danger we face today.  The old saying, “Even a broken clock is right twice per day,” could also be used, but neither lessens the reality that we live in a time of overwhelming political and societal ignorance, corruption, and evil.  We live in a time relatable to the Bible’s decree of the characteristics of the Last Days.  We need a corrected course if we are to survive.

I do not mean for this to be a political ad for any candidate, but I saw Ron DeSantis’ plan to rectify the situation in the Department of Justice and found it intriguing.  Would his plan ever be implemented?  I do not know because I do not know how loyal to the Constitution and the rule of law the members of his party in Congress are.  If they are spineless and feckless, it would be nothing more than campaign rhetoric and fluff without substance.  We do not need more of that.

One reason I am not hopeful about many of the campaign promises and suggestions is the recent action of members of the GOP in Congress allowing Adam Schiff’s protection from censure.  There were twenty Republicans in the House of Representatives that initially sided with the Democrats to insulate Congressman Schiff for peddling the hoax that Donald Trump colluded with the Russians to win in 2016.  Why did they do that?  I guess you will have to ask them, but do not expect honest answers.

His party and the globalists tasked Adam Schiff to run one of the most extensive and massive disinformation smear campaigns in modern political history.  He may have been duped by radio hosts claiming proof of the charges, but I doubt he was duped.  I suspect he was part of the ploy to provide plausible deniability for his nefarious actions if he was exposed.  The Left always protects its own. 

I want to provide a readily available list giving the names of the twenty Republicans who were willing to protect Schiff.  They are Thomas Massie, Kelly Armstrong, Lori Chaves-DeRemer, Juan Ciscomani, Tom Cole, Warren Davidson, Brian Fitzpatrick, Kay Granger, Garret Graves, Thomas Kean, Kevin Kiley, Young Kim, Michael Lawler, Tom McClintock, Marcus Molinaro, Jay Obernolte, Michael Simpson, Michael Turner, David Valando, and Steven Womack.  I suggest you remember them in the next election and offer them the opportunity to find other employment.

If the Democrats were truly a political party rather than an extremist faction seeking to censure and silence all political opposition. That is not the Free Constitutional Republic we were given nor the one we have been.  It has all the earmarks of a despotic, tyrannical regime and a banana republic.  Are we willing to allow that?  Are we so blind that we are willing to be led by the blind?  No, I do not believe that they are blind but devious.

I ask that voters judge candidates by their actions, not merely their words.  Words are easily spoken. Promises are easily made.  But fulfilling those promises requires courage and commitment to the republic’s founding principles.  When politicians become two peas in the same pod and seek their own ideological gains rather than representing the people, we are being led by the blind, and the ditch of destruction is our only possible destination.

Representative James Comer has revealed that the Biden bank records indicate that the Biden family received between $20-30 million from foreign nationals.  Why isn’t that being discussed in the news, investigated by the DOJ, and exposed by the FBI, CIA, and Homeland?  Why are only a few Republicans beating this drum and asking for full disclosure? Why?  Because the swamp is deep and the deep state far more expansive and powerful than most realize.  They hope we are blind to their tactics.  We have been, but can we receive the miracle of sight, reject their agenda, and save the republic?

We know that the facts of the Biden bribery and corruption investigation have fully exposed the collusion and corruption of the media, New York Times, FBI, DOJ, and more.  Far more evidence is available than is needed to launch a full-scale investigation and result in indictments.  Sadly, the insulation of the Leftists remains fully intact, and the complicity of RHINOs makes it virtually impossible to dismantle the corrupt entities.  Are we that blind?

The blindness of many in America was further evidenced in the debacle at the White House that included a topless trans activist who appeared in videos of the event.  Biden said the behavior was over the line but did nothing to stop it and reveals his utter disregard or being devoid of common sense and proper protocol disrespecting parents everywhere, exposing our children to nudity and unacceptable behavior. 

Larry Elder made a succulent statement regarding the event.  He said, “This is yet another example of the radical left shoving trans propaganda in the face of the American people.  In our schools, at the White House, where does it end?  The fact that this happened on the White House grounds makes Biden look like the real boob.”  Vivek Ramaswamy said this was “very revealing about where we are as a nation.”  They are correct.

We have a world about to boil over in chaos, and this type of thing happening at the White House and the partisan politics being played in the DOJ, FBI, CIA, Homeland, and more, we are heading for the ditch of destruction blindly.  China is pushing to militarize AI, and many fear that Big Tech is not on the side of America.  They seem to value profit more than America or the American people. 

Big Tech uses centralized control to prevent startup companies from being able to become viable. They prevent acquisitions that would threaten them and blatantly steal their competitors’ functions through their app stores.  They control the digital markets and arbitrarily inflate prices to get rich and destroy competition.  Congress does nothing, possibly because Big Tech pays big bucks to keep them from acting.  Money talks and blindness prevails.

The Left actively seek to restructure the Supreme Court to enable them to advance their ideological agenda.  However, a Wall Street Journal poll recently revealed that 91 percent of Americans desire an independent judiciary.  Those polled expressed their belief that an independent judiciary is a vital safeguard to our civil liberties.  Are we waking up?  I hope so!    A Maxon-Dixon poll indicated that 72 percent of Americans believe that politicizing the SCOTUS threatens judicial independence.  Additionally, 59 percent oppose the attacks on the integrity of some of the justices. 

America, we are being led by blindness to what is good and right, and if we keep following that blind leadership, we will destroy ourselves.  We do not have to allow this; if we pray, seek God’s face, and invest ourselves in the cause of freedom, we can prevail.  We cannot with mere partisan politics or at the polls alone, but if we unite for America, we can.  I ask you to join us in this fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom!

I am only superficially talking about the Rainbow tyranny being imposed on America and the world today.  The thought came from the gospel song – “Give Them All to Jesus,” where the opening line is, “Are you tired of chasing pretty rainbows?  Are you tired of spinning round and round?  Wrap up all the shattered dreams of your life, and at the feet of Jesus, lay them down.”  Great advice: too bad it is not being heeded by many today.

The second stanza says, “He never said you’d only see sunshine.  He never said there’d be no rain, no, no.  He only promised a heart full of singing about the very thing that once brought pain.”  I have contended for a long time that America’s only hope is Jesus!  I believe that we, as a nation, have drifted away from our biblical and moral moorings and allowed the insanity of totalitarian activism to rule our day. 

The tendency is to hide cowardly in the shadows, fearing being called derogatory names.  Are we adolescents and consider being called a name the epitome of things to be avoided?  Have we ceased using logic and divested ourselves from all semblances of cognitive reason and critical thought?  Have we succumbed to the demand to violate our core convictions to tolerate the prevalent modern insanity? 

I keep praying and hoping to see something that will encourage me that we have not sailed too far from the shore and lost all hope of restoration.  I see a flicker on the horizon that suggests that, just maybe, we have not.  I have been utterly amazed over the past decade and especially over the past three years at how easily people are persuaded to embrace lunacy.

During the COVID pandemic and paranoia, I watched America and the world willingly go into lockdown and allowed, without sufficient evidence, the destruction of our economy and many lives.  I could not believe the lack of pushback and the docile compliance.  It made me rethink the takeover by the Man of Sin (Antichrist) in the Bible.  I thought that his takeover would encounter resistance, but now I wonder.  I can understand why Jesus lamented that He might not find faith on the earth when He returns.  Can we be moved from our faith and convictions so easily?

Barack Hussein Obama proudly declared that we were days away from the “fundamental transformation of America” as he prepared to be inaugurated.  That was not new to Obama, the Democrats, RHINOs, or activists. It has been in the works for over one hundred years, dating back to the Fabian Socialist.  However, they were not the originators of destruction that dates back before the Fall of Man in the Garden of Eden.  It was birthed in the heart of Lucifer, who became satan.  

We are seeing the fruit of those efforts in today’s insanity.  Will we reach the place where we grow tired of ‘Chasing Pretty Rainbows’ and run to the foot of the Cross in repentance?  Will we reach the place we are no longer willing to tolerate and comply with the demands of activists and political elitists as they destroy our freedoms?  Will we?  I can only pray that we will. 

At the end of Trump’s term as president, we watched the economy rendered impotent.  We watched blatant election fraud that was dismissed, swept under the rug, ignored, and denied.  We watched judges refuse to judge according to the Constitution and the Rule of Law.  We have watched as anti-Americanism has become openly popular and chic in Washington.  We have watched violent acts of domestic terrorism in riots, looting, burning, and destroying called justifiable peaceable actions, while peaceful protests were called terrorism.

We have seen elected officials abandon their oath of office and corporations abandon their investors seeking to be WOKE.  The banking industry has become so corrupt and inept that investors’ money is anything but safe.  We are watching the insanity of the claim that climate change or global warming is the root cause of every negative thing in the world.  We have come to the place where medical doctors have boarded the politically correct train and moved from healing to complying with the talking points of liberalism and globalism. 

We are watching the increasing demands for reparations to people whose ancestors were mistreated by another group’s ancestors.  We have reached the juncture in society, politics, and often from the pulpit where Freedom of Speech and Religion are not deemed inalienable but malleable at the whim of those in power politically. 

When will the American people reach the point that we are no longer willing to endure suffering, the loss of liberty, and the destruction of our dreams?  What do we do When we can no longer trust the electoral system to produce fair elections?  Our American contract becomes violated, and rather than elections being an expression of the will of the people, they will become charades attempting to appease the gullible.  When will we grow tired of Chasing Pretty Rainbows?

How can we recover our nation and our freedoms?  How can we see a return to constitutional governance and the rule of law equally applied to all, including politicians of all stripes?  How can we protect our property, defend ourselves without fear of prosecution, receive true and accurate news, and protect our children?  How? 

I believe that we do so via a multifaced endeavor:

• We return to God (2 Chronicles 7:14).
• We become vocal about the abuses of our system, the constitution, and the law.
• We become those who “see something, say something,” exposing corruption and hypocrisy.
• We use our most potent voting tool, our wallets, and many in the corporate and political world will hesitate if they feel the pinch sufficiently.
• We become involved; some may even become candidates for change and restoration.

We can reclaim our republic and restore our freedoms, but not without God’s help.  We can, but not without a 1776-style commitment to the cause of freedom.  We can, but not without holding the feet of all the politicians to the fire of freedom and unitedly evicting them when they refuse to follow the Constitution.  Will we grow sufficiently tired of ‘Chasing Pretty Rainbows’ to salvage the Republic?  Only time will tell, and only God knows.

We are the United (questionable) States of America.  United seems to be a bit of a misnomer because we are divided into Blue States and Red States. Frequently by the Mason-Dixon Line and other points of difference.  We are United, in that we are America, and each state is part of the union, but we are divided far more than united on virtually every issue.

My last point is not necessarily problematic unless it reveals a trampling of our freedoms and our ability to pursue Life, Liberty, and Happiness.  Then, it becomes a problem. It is a constitutional problem because each state is authorized to address and decide issues for itself.  I support the idea of States’ Rights.  I also staunchly support the ideals advanced in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution that we are created beings, and our creator granted us inalienable rights that no government or entity has the right to touch or infringe upon.

Two particular areas of infringement are religious freedom and the freedom to pursue our dreams, and peaceable economic ambitions vary dramatically from state to state.  I saw a new ‘Faith and Freedom’ index that ranked each state on its laws protecting faith-based nonprofits.  It ranked all fifty states and the District of Columbia, and I am sure some of the freest and the most restricted might surprise some.

In this ranking, states with explicit constitutional provisions for religious freedom were awarded more points than states without.  States with well-developed religious corporation laws received higher scores than those without.  States that had laws incorporating sexual orientation and gender identity were given lower scores than those that did not.  Some might find that a negative.

The shocking thing was that only one state ranked 80 percent or higher in both categories (Alabama 86 percent), and thirty-two states had scores lower than 40 percent.  The two states that ranked the highest regarding religious and regulatory freedom were Alabama and Texas.  The state at the bottom was Michigan.  They were closely followed by Maryland, Nevada, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Maine, Hawaii, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, and West Virginia.  Some of those surprised me, but probably should not have.  Nevada scored 18 percent for religious freedom, while Michigan had the most regulations.  Oregon had the highest score for regulatory freedom coming in at a shocking 90 percent.

That is one area that reflects how free we are.  If we lose our Freedom of Speech and Religion, we will discover that none of our freedoms are safe.  When we are regulated in our faith, we will be controlled in every aspect of life and relegated to puppets disallowed from engaging in cognitive thought.  It will become comply or die! 

When any administration or arm of the federal government ignores the Constitution and the courts’ decisions, including the SCOTUS, we realize that Freedom might be only a word, not reality.  Once again, the Biden administration has received a slap down from the Appeals Court on their unconstitutional plan to release illegals into the interior of America without court dates.   Unfortunately, even if they have court dates, most are untraceable and ignore the court dates with no follow-up by the federal agencies.  That is known by the illegals and this administration.  The SCOTUS should also reject it and uphold the denial by the Appeals Court. 

Under the previous administration, were had achieved energy independence and had amazingly low gasoline prices and energy costs.  That disappeared on day one of the Biden term and has only worsened.  We are informed that one of the nations we depend on for our oil supply (Saudi Arabia) has announced a reduction in oil supply. What will that do?  It will, without question, mean we will feel more pain at the pump, a condition that should not exist.

We are not free when we are dependent on nations that are part of an ideology that chants “Death to America.”  Saudi Arabia has theoretically been an ally, but are they indeed our friends?  We are seeing the insane attempt by this administration to totally destroy the fossil fuel industry in favor of the New Green Energy Plan.  A plan that is not ready for implementation and results in higher costs of everything.  We could be Free and have been, but the moves of this administration render us anything but free.

Let me highlight something that is a clear and present danger to our freedoms and inalienable rights.  The current president is willing to nominate anyone who will actively advance the globalist, WOKE toxic agenda.  When you have a president that is a toxic liberal and the Senate controlled by the same party, we have a recipe for disaster.  In the 2022 elections, it seemed as if Mitch (the turtle) McConnell and his cohorts wanted to lose the Senate.  Partly it was because of their hatred of Donald Trump, and partly because they are swamp denizens.

We have a Secretary of State, Tony Blinken, whose father was a devoted follower of the Soros agenda.  In 2021 Secretary Blinken declared that the former President of Albania, Sali Berisha, and his immediate family were ineligible for entry into the United States.  Amazingly, Berisha claimed that Blinken had acted at the behest of George Soros. 

Blinken’s failures in foreign policy negotiations are not without visibility.  He has advanced the idea that climate change is the driving force behind all the world’s problems.  He confronted (sic) the Chinese delegation in Alaska, causing former CIA analyst and National Security Council chief of staff Fred Fleitz to declare, “It was one of the most incompetent displays I’ve ever seen by an American diplomat.  I think they were just virtue signaling before the lapdog American media.  It was a serious mistake, and it set back our policies, and it made them look inept because they weren’t ready for the counterattack by Chinese officials.” 

Blinken waived sanctions on Iran’s oil trade to allow Japan and Korea to infuse billions of dollars into Iran’s failing economy.  That is one example of America being relegated to the back burner as this administration enhances and seeks to bolster the economies and abilities of our enemies. 

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ failure regarding the border reveals that our freedoms are not safe as he allows the flood of illegals to pour into our republic.  That threatens legal citizens on so many fronts that it would take several articles to articulate and identify. 

The more anti-Constitution and anti-America activists are placed in positions of power, the more damage will be done to our republic and the less freedom we will enjoy.  Those people will eventually fade into the shadows, but the damage of their ineptitude and activism will last for generations.  America, it is time that we elected officials who actually know what the Constitution allows and forbids and have the backbone and ethical fiber to follow the Rule of Law and fight for America, the Free Constitutional Republic.

A definition would be apropos: “Chicanery: Mean or unfair artifice to perplex a cause and obscure the truth; stratagem; sharp practice; sophistry.”  We could use many synonyms to describe the political morass and the depth of our political depravity in 2023.  Words like trickery, deception, deceit, duplicity, dishonesty, double-dealing, deviousness, underhandedness, skullduggery, monkey business, flimflam, and many more.  All fit what is happening in America today.

We are in a sad state where hate is more prevalent than love, and violent dissent is more acceptable than peaceful dialogue.  Finding real and lasting solutions to societal, political, and economic issues seems less important than eliminating the dissenters.  Freedom of Speech is selective to the point that only the speech that agrees with the Leftist’s ideological agenda is deemed allowable. 

If you believe the Bible and true science’s definition of gender, you are somehow worse than the most heinous despot of history.  If you believe in the biblical definition of marriage, you are homophobic and unworthy to breathe the air needed to survive.  If you oppose an open border, you are xenophobic.  According to the PC World Activists, you are a misogynist if you believe in the right of life for the baby in the womb.  If you support the idea of America first and want limited government, lower taxes, and conservative principles, you are deplorable and a prime candidate for euthanasia.

Our political scene is more like that of a third-world banana republic or despotic communist country than that of the Free Constitutional Republic defined in our Constitution.  The Constitution makes no provision for using the bureaus of the federal government as political weapons.  Yet, that is happening under this administration as they continually target Donald John Trump for alleged crimes that Obama, Hillary, and Biden have allegedly committed. 

If our current American Justice System were truly blind and treated everyone equally under the law, we would see multiple indictments against those Democrats and others.  We do not and will not UNLESS something dramatic transpires in Congress, the Courts, and the voters’ actions.  The Left has effectively commandeered the justice system, the intelligence community, and federal law enforcement to act as shields and shills for the Democratic Party.  That is political chicanery!

It is far more than political chicanery; it is devastatingly destructive for the republic.  It is the active actions of the fundamental transformists and will be the end of our republic if we do not stop it.  What I am saying is not an attempt to be a Trump apologist, but the targeting of him is beyond reason.

Trump reportedly said, “If Biden truly received 81 million votes, the Democrats would not be so worried about me.”  I believe that is correct.  If there were that many people in America who desire the Leftist agenda to be advanced and support Joe Biden, there would be no reason to go after Trump using every tool available, including the MSM. 

I believe the Trump indictments and impeachments are about more than simply destroying Donald Trump. I believe it is a warning shot across the bow, hoping to show every politician that they will be destroyed if they do not dance to the music of the Left.  It is an attempt to silence every voice of dissent and place enough fear in the hearts of potential whistleblowers and witnesses to keep the Leftists safe from scrutiny. 

The American economy roared back under Donald Trump’s administration, and there was greater stability in the world than previously or currently.  Most of us are experiencing the pinch financially due to the reversal of many Trump policies and the advancement of the Globalist WOKE agenda of the Biden administration.  We have lost religious freedoms at an alarming rate, and gender confusion is bearing fruit that is not healthy.  In my view, the situation in our elementary schools is an overt attempt to confuse our children and convert them to homosexuality. 

The Trump indictments reveal how distorted and corrupt our justice system really is.  It indicates the impotence of Congress, the courts’ activism, and the partisan nature of our federal intelligence and law enforcement communities.  I am not attempting to argue the case of Trump’s indictment for handling classified documents, but his indictments demand that Biden, Obama, and Hillary also be indicted.  Otherwise, this smacks of political chicanery and gamesmanship.  It is dirty politics rather than an attempt to follow the rule of law.

Many of us face the censors and fact-less checkers daily as they attempt to silence our voices and question the validity of our assertions.  We have a situation where almost 100 percent of the political contributions made by the ‘fact checkers’ go to the Democratic candidates.  That makes the claim of neutrality almost impossible to accept. 

Everyone has the right to hold whatever view they please, including political views.  However, when those engaged in a particular employment, such as checking the validity of facts, are almost 100 percent Left-Wing supporters, how can we, on the other side, believe their declarations?  One investigation reported that 99.5 percent of the contributions from the ‘fact-checkers’ went to Democrats.  That gives validity to identifying them as ‘fact-less checkers’ and agents of the Democrats. 

When LGBTQ Activists engage in terroristic threats against Target and the media and politicians pretend it was from conservatives, we see the chicanery clearly.  The Hill and Washington Post offered articles headlined – “Bomb Threats Over Pride Items.”  The Hill’s headline – “Target Stores in at least five states received threats over Pride items.”  That’s all people see, not the true story.  

Most only see the headline and never read the entire story.  The second paragraph revealed that the threats were accusations that Target had “betrayed” the LGBTQ+ community.  That was not right-wing or conservative, but proponents and activists for that cause that issued the threats. 

The spin and misinformation or disinformation are designed to paint anyone and everyone on the Right as phobic and dangerous.  When LGBTQ ideologues manipulate impressionable children, the activists in the media paint the picture of parents being transphobic and dangerous.  When lawmakers take action to protect children and parental rights, they are labeled as flat earth society members and a danger to themselves and the world. 

America, the political chicanery must end.  Everyone on the Right and the Left and anyone in the Middle should be incensed by this type of activity.  We no longer have a political environment where facts or discussed.  We have identity politics prevailing, and hate is the driving force in the actions of many. The bottom line of the political power brokers is CONTROL.  We either wake up or we watch our republic destroyed.  I will not do that passively.

That seems to be the attitude of the followers of toxic liberalism, globalism, and extreme leftism.  Corporations, politicians, and federal bureaus are pushing their chips to the center of the table and going ‘all in’ to achieve the WOKE Globalist agenda.  The Constitution is moot to them, and the majority opinion is of little significance. 

Maybe they believe the majority are so intimidated and willingly silent that there is nothing to fear. They may think that, given time; they will be able to indoctrinate sufficient numbers to offset any pushback those who oppose might offer.  Maybe, they are so blind by their distorted views and so captivated by the thought of ultimate power and control that they are willing to risk everything to achieve their purposes.  I suspect there is an element of all those involved.

When corporations such as Target are willing to risk their very existence to become activists and enablers of the deviant, inane, and often insane agenda, we know we are on the cusp of civil war or dismantling the republic.  Target is now backing an organization that advocates and pushes for America to demilitarize and for Mt. Rushmore to be closed permanently for being a symbol of ‘white supremacy.’ 

Target began its journey to full-blown activism in 2020 with the protests after George Floyd’s death.  They have gone all-in in their corporate diversity, equity, and inclusion workforce.  They have moved far beyond their stated objective of bringing equality to marginalized groups and fully embraced the far-left overtly political agendas. 

Targets diversity chief – Kiera Fernandez has issued a demand, not a suggestion but a demand that ‘White Women’ become actively involved as activists to combat what Fernandez claimed was systemic racism in America.  They are funding the push to give away federal land such as Mt. Rushmore, calling it an “international symbol of White supremacy.”  Wow!  They also call for demilitarizing the “violent” U.S. military.  They want to destroy Israel’s Jewish character through the Palestinian “Law of Return.”  Economic Sanctions and Boycotts to ‘Free Palestine.’  How is that for non-partisan business? 

Add to that the overt, covert, and filled-with-dirt activism of the FBI; we see storm clouds gathering and the winds of destruction blowing strongly in 2023 America.  Recently, a source deemed ‘highly credible’ has revealed that the FBI’s election interference is more damning and dangerous than the Biden bribery scandal. 

The source cited several criminal activities by the FBI dating back to Obama’s time in office.  Senator Chuck Grassley made an interesting and revealing statement during a public interview.  He was speaking about FBI Director Christopher Wray’s refusal to comply with the congressional subpoena for the FD-1023 form. 

Grassley said, “We aren’t interested in whether or not the accusations against [then] Vice President Biden are accurate but about the FBI’s knowledge and cover-ups.”  The form, dated June 20, 2020, included detailed information from CHS to the FBI regarding an agreement by now-President Biden to deliver preferred foreign policy positions for a $5 million payment. 

The involvement targeting the GOP candidate and protecting the Democrat candidate is demining and dangerous.  It reveals that the FBI and other federal agencies are actively engaging in propaganda and activism in shaping and securing elections.  That is unethical and counter to their purpose, but illegal constitutionally.  But when did being unconstitutional stop the leftist activists and globalists?

There are those in the GOP who are so adamantly anti-Trump that they would rather see the complete destruction of our electoral system than allow him a chance for a second term.  There are active efforts to make the Republican primaries so disorganized and ineffective that Trump would be severely hampered in the general election if he wins the nomination.  One of the avenues being pursued is to alienate many GOP voters so that they would refuse to vote, preventing the Republicans from winning. 

Borrowing from Shawn Fleetwood in The Federalist, we have a highly politicized intelligence community that openly targets conservatives and protects Democrats.  Federal departments, bureaus, and left-wing nonprofits are openly interfering with our elections.  We have an administration seemingly pushing us toward WW III. 

We have major corporations acting as activists glorifying gender dysphoria.  We have some red states acting like blue states.  We have the Left actively indoctrinating and trans-ing our children.  We have Congress acting like a drunken sailor on a three-day pass, spending us into oblivion.  We have a non-existent southern border.  We have open attempts to destroy the Supreme Court.  We have an economy that is under the destructive thumb of runaway inflation and a military that is being systematically dismantled and, to a great measure, dying.

If the GOP gets into a war that alienates candidate backers from candidate backers with such a divide that they effectively destroy all hope in the general election, defeat is assured, and America will be irreparably damaged.

The media is flabbergasted about how unpopular Joe Biden is.  However, they hold out hope because Obama was unpopular but still managed to be reelected or reinstalled as President.  One Leftist podcaster, Matt Robinson, lamented that Biden had a list of ‘massive achievements’ and his unpopularity did not make sense.  If he had such a list of actual accomplishments, Mr. Robinson might be correct, but he does not!  They are all smoke and mirrors.  He has an extensive list of ‘massive failures,’ which is one reason for the unpopularity. 

The ‘Fourth Estate’ might be better served to stop worrying about Biden’s unpopularity and try to understand why they are.  But what is the ‘Fourth Estate’?  It is appropriated as shorthand for the DOD’s agencies and activities, not part of the military branches.  It is the “DOD components” contrasted with the “military components.”

The ‘Fourth Estate’ has field activities that include over 380,000 people, according to the 2018 GAO report.  The ‘Fourth Estate’ is a massive arm of the Department of Defense that is actively involved in spying on citizens and has dramatically increased the technological abilities of that group. 

Does that sound eerily like the term “Third Reich”?  It is not, but it allows the nefarious seekers of total control to push us down that pathway.  America, we have a president being managed by those with an extreme anti-American agenda and a pro-globalism ideology.  We are being systematically stripped of our constitutional guarantees and protections.  We dare not be blind to what is happening and cannot allow it to continue.

We must return to moral sanity, ethical governance, biblical precepts, and strong families, redevelop our work ethic, and reinstall the Constitution as the final guiding authority in American government.  For me, that final authority is God, but it is the Constitution for our system of government.  Vote, work, pray, educate, and become involved.  Our freedom depends on each of us.

I make that assertion with a broken heart because I love America!  I love the America I have known for most of my seventy-plus years.  I remember asking my grandfather about some of the changes he had seen.  He was born in 1878 and died in 1979, just days short of reaching the age of 101.  He had a unique ability to adapt and embrace change, but he had little tolerance for corruption or laziness.  Now, I am in my seventies and reflecting on the changes I have seen.

I am not referring to technological changes but people’s attitudes and the openness of corruption in politics.  I have discussed some of like ideological views and some with diametrically opposing views about this issue.  We do not all agree, but we all agreed that the founding fathers would not recognize America.

They repeatedly warned us and had the foresight and wisdom to know that the government they were establishing was viable, only so long as corruption was kept to a minimum.  They believed in citizen representation, and although some became career politicians, they believed those making the laws should live under those laws.

Thomas Jefferson quoted Montesquieu’s declaration in Spirit of the Laws, “When once a republic is corrupted, there is no possibility of remedying any of the growing evils but by removing the corruption and restoring its lost principles; every other correction is either useless or a new evil.”  Jefferson, as were most of our founders, was highly suspicious of government.   They had lived under the heavy hand of a monarch whose methods revealed the dangers of tyranny in government.

The America that was borne from the valiant efforts of those in that era has had close calls with tyranny.  Some would argue that the most prolific example was the administration of Franklin D. Roosevelt and his internment of thousands of Japanese, German, and Italian Americans during World War II.  Others cite Woodrow Wilson and the Palmer raids in the World War I era, where over 4,000 people were seized in a single night, arrested without warrants, and sent to prison for their views.  Wilson deemed the people affected as those who were hostile to “American values.”  Does that sound eerily like a philosophy advanced today? 

Thomas Jefferson warned, “Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government, those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.”  George Washington echoed that sentiment, “Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins of liberty and abused to licentiousness.”  They warned us, and we slumbered while the fox raided the henhouse of liberty and transformed our government into something our founders would not recognize. 

FDR and Wilson were not the only abusers; there have many others, even the more recent actions of Clinton, Bush, and Obama in pushing the limits of government beyond the Constitutional allowances.  I will not try to deal with each violation, only say that corruption and the thirst for power, and the graft that flows to the powerful is a temptation many are unable to resist. 

Corrupt politicians have polluted our American political system, and today, we are seen as the bumper crop or fruit from our allowing it to become the norm.  We are supposed to be governed by our consent.  That ship sailed many moons ago, and those in power in Washington and the world power brokers believe they do not need our consent.  They do not if we are unwilling to rise up in the Spirit of 1776 and become a united and consistent voice and force. 

The corruption of the Biden family, the current administration, is off the charts, and almost daily, there are new revelations of the extent and depth of that corruption.  The House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) revealed evidence that the Biden family opened over 20 shell companies to hide payments and launder money.  How is that not front-page news and a grand jury immediately empaneled and seated?  That is the tip of the iceberg and evidence of pollution through corruption.

Much is being said about Justices Thomas and Alito and the conservatives on the court’s purported ethics violations, but what about the “wise Latina” Sotomayor’s surge of wealth?  Some of it is legitimate, but if we want to demand some of them to be squeaky clean, we must demand that all of them are.

We are facing what George Washington called one of our greatest dangers.  He said, “If the freedom of speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.”  Jefferson observed, “When the people fear the government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.”  They do not fear us but have given us reason to fear them.

When the FBI has been exposed as a weaponized arm of the Leftists and globalist agenda, we know we have a polluted government that links back to corrupt politicians and greed.  Representative Troy Nehls (R-TX), a former sheriff, questioned Director Wray; he asked about reassigning agents from child sex-trafficking investigations to investigate the January 6^th incident; Wray said none were reassigned.  That was not the truth.

Representative Nehls challenged him and revealed that the previous month, Steve Friend, a domestic terrorist investigator for the FBI, testified that he had been told by one of his supervisors that January 6 was a higher priority than pursuing child pornography cases.  Wow! 

Some revelations from FBI Director Chris Wray’s testimony is that foreign intelligence agencies worked with Big Tech to silence speech.  The Director’s claim of ignorance on many things suggests that either he is the wrong man for the job, or he is involved in a cover-up of monumental proportions.

My concern is that we have reached the point where the warnings of Benjamin Franklin are applicable today.  His warning was that no people can remain free if they become wicked and immoral. When a sound society decays to the place where people begin to fear for their lives and property, the demand for a police state is inevitable.  We are dangerously on the cusp of such a state, and many are willing to trade freedom and liberty for presumed safety.  

The warnings of George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and others spoke to our time when the nation’s moral fiber has declined significantly.   The Bible speaks of rampant and prolific moral depravity, corruption, violence, hatred, and evil as a condition of the Last Days.  But, not to deal with Bible prophecy, I restrain myself and say that for America to survive as the Free Constitutional Republic, we must deal with political corruption, or we will allow the pollution to destroy our republic.

America needs her patriots to stand up and be counted.  We need to fall on our faces before God and become involved, informed, and active in the needed government clean-up.  It begins with each of us and then extends to Washington.

Regarding the last part of my title, I am not speaking of erectile dysfunction but about being powerless to prevent chaos and destruction.  I will try to explain that more as we proceed.  I am more than a little concerned about America, and that concern increases exponentially when I realize how much apathy and belief that political impotence prevails. 

Accepting a negative outcome or defeat before the battle has been fully waged is insane.  It guarantees the defeat of principles, robs the republic of all semblances of republicanism, and relegates us to socialism at best and totalitarianism at worst.  We invite the nefarious, diabolical, demonic, and anti-American cabals to take over. 

The ability of the followers of toxic liberalism to silence the majority of people is telling.  The ability to send normally reasonable and patriotic people, believers in God and lovers of freedom, into the shadows in fear is telling.  The desire and not the infrequent ability to indoctrinate our children, shape their thinking, and render parents and pastors powerlessness is telling. 

America, we are living in troubled times.  The Bible speaks of it in numerous passages.  In 2 Timothy 3:1-7 – “But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear]. ² For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, ³ [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, ⁴ traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, ⁵ holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them. ⁶ For among them are those who worm their way into homes and captivate morally weak and spiritually-dwarfed women weighed down by [the burden of their] sins, easily swayed by various impulses, ⁷ always learning and listening to anybody who will teach them, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

I know that is a long quote from the Bible and may be too much for some, but the Bible has a long history of amazingly accurate predictions, revelations, and warnings that need to be heeded.  I believe in the Bible and the God of the Bible, but I want to take a slightly different approach and use some happenings to validate my contention that we are facing death by apathy and impotence in America.

Our Republic is on the cusp of destruction, and far too few are paying sufficient attention.  Far too few patriots are willing to put their lives on the line and risk everything in the Spirit of 1776 to salvage the Republic.  I am not saying there are none, but too many believe that there is nothing we can do.  That produces a deadly apathy and a belief that we are powerless.  We are not!  The task before us is daunting, and without both God and total commitment to the cause, the looming societal death will become a reality. 

Enough gloom and doom, Roy; say something positive!  Okay, we are killing ourselves, but we do not have to!  We have the tools and the backing to overcome this destruction plot.  The backing is God and the American Constitution.  However, unless we unite sufficiently to get the attention of the elitists and political politicians, we will watch the continued erosion of our Republic.

The continuing clamor for reparations is rapidly exposing itself for what it really is.  It has virtually nothing to do with slavery.   The Democrat Representative Cori Bush’s proposed reparations totaling $14 TRILLION reveals a truth most are unwilling to see.  Reparations, but to whom?  Is it to be paid to each of the forty-five million Blacks in America?  That would mean that at least 4.5 million who immigrated after Jim Crow was gone would get money too.  How does that make any sense?

What about the thirty-three million under 50 who have lived all their lives since the Voting and Civil Rights Acts were passed?  How about the Black families whose ancestors were from the northern states and never experienced slavery?  What about those who earn more than $200,000 per year? What about the 1.5 million Black millionaires?  Where does it start, and where does it stop?

I suggest that the real desire is not reparations, not for the purveyors of the idea.  Yes, many who might receive the money may be salivating over it, but those pushing the idea are driven by revenge or misguided shame, not about reparations. It is to punish America and anyone non-black.  What about the American Indians? The Irish were horribly treated as immigrants, and the list goes on.  Slavery is wrong and bad!  No excuses, no justifications!  Yet, America had a smaller number of slaves than many other nations. 

Whites fear addressing this issue for fear of being called racist, insensitive, unfeeling, and uncaring.  I am none of those, but I am not afraid to address the fallacy of requiring people who had nothing to do with that horrific condition to pay for the failures of previous generations.  In Deuteronomy 24:16 and Ezekiel 18:20, the Bible does not allow the children or the parents to be put to death for the sins of the other.  Each is responsible for their own actions. 

Today with Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and drones becoming more prevalent and used by the military, we see an incredible display of might.  However, we should be asking who holds the power.  Whoever controls the AI has an advantage, but who is that truly?  The dangers of system failures or diabolical formatting scream danger for humanity.

We watched the Terminator movies and laughed at the ludicrousness of it, but like many things from the comic books of ages past, things have a way of becoming reality.  When an idea is formulated in the minds of humans, the drive to make the truth becomes visible.  Could the robots or robotic tools go full Terminator?  I do not have the answer, but with all things technological, the data input has a significant bearing on the output.  Who is behind the scenes formulating the plan?

Today, we are watching, with horror, the overt attempts to subvert our electoral process and establish irreversible changes that make elections a moot point.  I am concerned that a four-year term for Joe Biden and his handlers might be sufficient to implement and solidify changes that are difficult, if not impossible, to overcome. 

The federal agencies, the public schools, professional organizations, unions, and much of the scientific community’s research arms have all become tools to serve the interests of the Democratic Party and the Globalist agenda. 

Go back to March 2021, and the Biden Executive Order directing all six-hundred-plus federal agencies to help “get out the vote” was and is alarming.  The federal government is constitutionally barred from running elections; local governments are charged with that responsibility and authority.  The order by Biden is designed to tilt the elections in favor of his party.  It is unconstitutional, and we are not powerless to address it, yet too many Republicans and conservatives sit in fearful silence.

Some insist that everything political is cyclical and not to worry.  I say, “Wrong!”  That mindset is part of the problem and, if followed, will result in Death by Apathy and Impotence.  I cannot watch America be destroyed without voicing dissent and calling for the patriots to arise and reclaim the republic.

What I am about to say will likely have mixed reactions from all sides of the political and ideological aisle.  Some believe that what we are experiencing in America is simply another of the historical cyclical political evolutions, and it will return to the center or right soon.  Others believe the handwriting is on the wall and the proverbial fat lady has begun singing; it is over.  Others believe that we should just let politicians handle political matters and not be concerned; after all, the debt is just paper, not real.  I believe all of those are wrong, at least in a measure.

The founders of this Republic believed that this was a government of the people, for the people, and by the people.  They believed that the citizens or voting public were responsible for giving oversight to the politicians.  If those representatives misused their office and did not pursue the wishes of their constituents, they should be evicted at their next election.  Allowing politicians to handle political matters is what has placed us between this rock and a hard place.  We did it to ourselves through our apathy or ignorance.

The followers of toxic liberalism are actively engaged in pushing the envelope to the point of no return.  They have pushed their chips to the center of the table and are willing to have a shooting civil war, if necessary, to achieve their agenda.  That is one of the reasons the Left is so determined to ban firearms from the public.  If they render us defenseless, they can suppress all resistance with relative ease, as have despots in history.

We are in a cultural war where the activists on the Left are seeking to destroy everything foundational to traditional America.  They are Maoist, and someone said, “They are often as absurd as they are terrifying.”  One of the things the Durham report did was expose the corruption and activism of the FBI, CIA, and DOJ.  We could throw in any number of alphabet agencies and not miss the mark.  However, that exposure means little if there is no action by the public and the politicians in Washington. 

When federal law enforcement officers can openly and willingly perjure themselves before Congress, we have a vision of the real America in 2023.  We have the founders’ vision contrasted against the fundamental transformists’ desire.  When the federal bureaus and agencies become political activists and propagandists, we have a view of where we are in 2023.  The revelations do not speak well of the Republic’s health.

The lunacy of California’s Leftists regime speaks of the condition prevalent in the Leftist camps and is a microcosm of the elitist attitude and lunacy in Washington.  California is facing a deficit of $32 billion and yet wants to advance an $800 billion-dollar ‘reparations’ payout to the state’s Black residents.  That is nonsensical on every level, but to the followers of toxic liberalism, it is the only logical conclusion they can see.  That speaks of America in 2023.

Osama bin Laden told his followers, “The people want to follow the strong horse and will abandon the weak one.”  Our nation, the United States of America, is being systematically destroyed and rendered weak by the powerful demons in DC.  Our hope is three-fold; we must return to God and our moral moorings, become involved and engaged in what is happening, unite and demand that politicians of all stripes honor the Constitution and their oath of office, and follow the rule of law.  Anything less will produce a fundamentally transformed America without liberty, justice, or hope for the American dream. 

The founders exhibited incredible wisdom and embraced God’s divine providence in producing the Constitution.  That document gives us a legal pathway to save the republic.  We dare not abandon provisions to help us return to sanity because the Left abused those provisions.  Just because something has been abused does not mean it has no place in government.  Impeachment is one of those provisions.  However, it must be incredibly rare in its use and for legitimate purposes, unlike the Left’s abuse regarding President Trump.

The Biden family’s and other politicians’ corruption must not be overlooked and left unaccountable.  The criminality and possibly treasonous activities must be addressed.  If Congress is unwilling, the DOJ too partisan, and the FBI and CIA too dirty, we must take the matter into our own hands.  How?  There are many avenues, but one of the most significant is on our faces before God.  Another is through litigation, basically a class-action lawsuit by the American people.  Another is at the polls and diligently seeks to send people to Washington that believe in the Republic and our system of governance.

IT IS PROBLEMATIC when FBI Director Chris Wray is willing to lie to the American people and Congress.  He denied the 1023 form with damning evidence regarding the Joe Biden bribery scheme.  He denied it until Senator Grassley publicly declared that he had seen the unredacted document and knew precisely what was in it.  Then Director Wray admitted its existence.  But he gave no indication that the agency would take any action.  If Congress does not move to charge him with contempt of Congress, they should be charged with dereliction of duty.

This administration has weaponized the DHS through an anti-terror program to target Christians, conservatives, and the Republican Party.  How is that for politics and dirty politics at that?   Biden’s team took the program implemented under President Trump, the “Targeted Violence & Terrorism Prevention Grant Program” (TVTP), and revamped it for their nefarious purposes of political activism.

The program has been modified to no longer prevent or target actual violence and terrorism to target an entire spectrum of the political right and Christians.  They are doing so through “media literacy and online critical thinking initiatives.”  They are utilizing this in an attempt to force America into a One-Party System politically.  The silencing of conservatives and anyone who disagrees with the WOKE agenda and globalism is the goal. 

When no dissenting voices are heard, the masses believe the propaganda offered by the approved venues.  If you only hear one side of an issue, you have no basis to disprove and even argue against it.  You may know in your heart and by using your cognitive ability that it is inane, if not insane, but you do not have the information.  If you are not allowed to voice your view, then those whose minds are already mush from the brainwashing that has been ensuing for decades will parrot the points and drink the Kool-Aid.

The ball is in our court, America.  If you love freedom and value our system of government as prescribed and described in the Constitution, then you must become involved.  You cannot sit on the fence.  You may not agree with everyone seeking to preserve the America of our Constitution on all points, but if you value freedom, there is room for you in the movement to save America.  God will help us, but only if we repent and return to Him and show backbone.  If we are willing to live in forced servitude, He will allow us to take our chosen path. 

Let us band together for Faith, Family, and Freedom!  America needs her patriots more than at any other time in our history.

Many things come to mind when I ask or am asked that question. I am sure that everyone has their own perspective and idea.  As I have been praying and musing on America, where we are, where we have been, and where we are going, some agonizing thoughts have come to mind.  

When I witness, what, in my mind, is an assault on our American foundation, the pillars of freedom, and the principles upon which America was founded, I become agitated.  I wish I could say that it was always ‘righteous indignation,’ but sometimes it is unadulterated blood-boiling anger that could quickly morph into hate, and I fight against that with a passion.  

I do not want hate to be filled my heart; although I hate sin and the result of sin, I do not want to hate the sinner.  I hate the attempts to dismantle and unravel our constitutional framework and diminish the principled fabric of our society. Still, I do not want to hate those who disagree with me about what is best and the direction we should take. Hate will never produce genuine and lasting victory and progress.

What is the greatest need of America today?  HEALING!  You may disagree, and that is your right and privilege.  I will not argue that there are not some incredibly imposing and threatening dangers facing our republic; there are! 

Yet, from the Bible and history, I know that a house divided against itself cannot stand, become incredibly weak, and open to invading ideologies and forces that would dismantle and destroy us.  I do not believe that we genuinely want that!

The Bible offers us a prescription for Healing found in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “and My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.”  [Amplified].

I watched the MSM, the political pundits, activists, and the protests in the aftermath of the 2016 election in which a Republican defeated a Leftist Democrat.  That was a sad reflection of our divide.  We will expand the divide if we allow ourselves to focus on our particular ideology, pet agenda, personal preference, or pet peeve.  If we allow ourselves to be drawn into Hate and continue to fan the flames of discord, we will fail as a nation and suffer individually and collectively. 

When I reflect on the inaugural speech of President Trump in January 2017, I find something that is vitally important.  He said that United America is Unstoppable!  He said other things about setting aside our prejudices and biases and realizing that we are All Americans and America should be first, not personal preference.

I do not suggest anyone abandon their convictions or principles.  I would never do that, but I suggest we resist and reject Hate!  I suggest we seek common ground through which we can work together for the good of America and Freedom at home and abroad.  We both lose if you hate me, or I hate you based on skin color.  

If I hate you or you hate me solely based on personality, we both are reduced to incredibly small people.  If I hate you or you hate me based on which side of a political issue we stand on, we dig a chasm that will prevent us from finding a solution to our nation’s problems. 

I watched the signs carried by the protesters, “Love Trumps Hate,” and next to that sign was a call for assignation or some other incredible act of violence and hate.  Love does triumph over Hate, but we dare never forget that Hate and Love do not flow out of the same fountain or heart simultaneously. 

I believe that America’s greatest need is Healing!  I could say repentance, but that will only come as we have a measure of healing.  I am convinced that Healing can only truly come from God. 

Looking back on history, I was appalled when Barack Obama won in 2008 and significantly discouraged when he won again in 2012.   I was disturbed by the visible fraud and discrepancies that elevated Joe Biden to the Oval Office.  Yet, I did not stop being an American and wanting what was best for America.  

I opposed Barack Obama, and I oppose Joe Biden.  Have I been vocal?  Yes, I have!   Yet, I have never called for Barack Obama or Joe Biden’s murder or the Obama girls or Biden family to be harmed.  I have never called for the rape of their spouses or children.  I have never sought to destroy the framework of our society, government, commerce, or community. 

The policies of Obama and Biden have offered me almost nothing to praise.  Some found nothing good in the policies of Donald Trump. But if we love America, are willing to suppress our prejudices and biases, and resist the tendency to Hate that which is different, we can survive and thrive as a nation.  Healing is America’s greatest need, and it is my greatest need as a human being.

I hate the message and actions of Islamic jihadism.  I hate the murder of innocent babies in the womb.  I hate the attempts to strip all references and mention of God from our public stage.  I hate the gender confusion and destroying the lives of the innocent.

I hate the ‘fundamental transformation’ of America into something other than the nation we were established to be and the principles upon which we were formed.  I hate the works of evil no matter what form that comes.  However, I do not want to be filled with Hate and thereby prevented from having Love for my fellow man.  I want to be a part of the Healing of our Nation, not a part of the perpetuation of division. 

Some will not receive my sermon well, but I hope you hear my heart.  I Do Not want anyone to abandon their principles and discard their core convictions.  I want you to protest what you believe is wrong but do so in a civil, peaceful, constitutional, and legal manner.  I want all of us to be able to stand up for what we believe is right but to do so as rational and mature people.  I am praying for Healing in our land and am committed to interceding for America.
