THINKING ABOUT MY HERITAGE…


Recently I spent time reflecting on my heritage and how to describe my parents and grandparents, and one word kept coming to mind – S T R E N G T H.   I learned a lot from each of them. But the overriding quality was their strength; it is one of the most lasting visual remembrances indelibly imprinted upon my memory.  There were good times and tough times; they demonstrated incredible strength in both.  I never saw them cower in fear, and they found a way to overcome whatever obstacle they found blocking their path.

My maternal grandfather C.R. (Randolph) Kellum, was one of the most intelligent, integrity-filled, loyal, and courageous men I have ever known.  He earned the respect of everyone, and even some whom I learned did not particularly like or agree with him respected him and knew his word was his bond. 

My maternal grandmother Bertha Bell Kellum was one of the kindest, gentlest women I have ever encountered, and her love for my grandfather was storybook quality, as was her love for her family.  She was unassuming, gentle, and a strong believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, as was my grandfather.  They expressed it differently, but both were genuine in their faith.  In diverse ways, I saw STRENGTH in them that have inspired me through the years.

My father, W.P. Beaird, Jr., was incredibly creative and could accomplish virtually any task before him with little education or formal training.  He knew how to think something through to a valid conclusion and did not know the word defeat or quit.  His love for family was without question. 

At times he manifested a granite-like exterior, but we knew his heart.  He did not verbalize his love much, but his actions spoke volumes. I knew he would die for his family if necessary, and I found comfort in that.  After I had been in the ministry for a number of years, he came down the aisle during a revival and confirmed or reconfirmed his faith in receiving Jesus, and for that, I rejoice!  In him, I saw tenderness behind the veil, but in all things, I saw STRENGTH.

My mother, Elva M. Beaird, was the most loving and caring mother a person could ever have hoped for.  She willingly sacrificed for her family and would have it no other way.  Once before her departure to heaven, I received word that she was hospitalized. As I drove to see her, I reflected on how she demonstrated godliness at all times.  She had my grandmother’s heart and my grandfather’s strength.  She was truly a Proverbs 31 woman, and we treasured her.

She, as did my father, fought for my survival as a child when the doctors were not sure I would ever live to be an adult, and then her heart was crushed when I deployed to Vietnam.  Twice in her life, she feared losing me; her most powerful battle in those times was prayer.  I know she prayed for me throughout my tour of duty in Vietnam.  I have seen her discouraged and disappointed, but always in those challenging times, she manifested STRENGTH.

Reflecting on my heritage, it has been one of firm faith in God!  A strong commitment to family!  It embodied a willing acceptance of responsibility for personal actions!  It taught me a willingness to work to provide for my own, and a determination never to quit! 

My heritage and the legacy they have given me is S T R E N G T H.   After becoming a Christian and over the fifty-plus years, I have learned the source of that strength and know that “the Joy of the Lord is my strength.”  I have come to understand that “The Lord is my strength, and I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”   My heritage gives me a foundation upon which to build, the courage to continue, and the strength to finish the course and finish it in faith that I will.

I have a rich heritage through natural lineage but an even greater heritage in Jesus Christ.  Without Him, I not only could do nothing, I would be less than nothing.  My significance is not in what I have done, possess, or the accolades of man; it is in my acceptance in the Family of God through the New Birth.  When I was in total rebellion, God loved me enough to work on my life to bring me to an encounter with the Living Lord!  Thank God for loving people and God’s Agape Love!  I am truly a richly blessed man.

My heritage as an American is also rich, and it would behoove each of us to reflect on what those valiant souls did in securing our independence and the system of government that was established. We need to return to being One Nation Under God! We need to return to being staunch defenders of ALL our Inalienable Rights. We need to restore our Republic!

Thank you for allowing me to speak of personal things from my heart!  You are all valuable gifts and recognized treasures from the Lord to me, and I deeply appreciate each of you, although I do not know all personally.  You are valuable and encourage me daily!   

God bless each of you.  I share a bit of my heritage and hope that it inspires you to remember all the blessings and lessons you were taught by your parents and grandparents!  Loving families are wonderful blessings, and I am a rich man in that area!

AMERICA –ALL OF US ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPUBLIC


It is the responsibility of every generation to refresh the Tree of Liberty!  Not necessarily with the blood of her patriots but in the spirit of liberty espoused by our founders.  That is especially true today for those of us who love liberty and a Constitutional Republic in America in contrast to the voices, forces, and ideologies seeking to destroy it. 

I am convinced that our founders based the Constitution, our system of government, and our judicial system on the presumption that those in leadership would work toward preserving the principles of Freedom.  I am not so naïve as to think they did not foresee the potential tyrannical despotism.  I believe they attempted to place safeguards and sound warnings loudly enough that we would hear them centuries later.

Our founders faced serious problems forming a new government for our fledgling nation. I believe they did a remarkable job addressing those issues and attempting to insert adequate safeguards against despotism.  Like most systems of government, theory is not always practiced; thus, we have the problems our nation faces today. 

Although some wanted to make the office of the President a Monarchy, the majority recognized the problem of placing too much power in the hands of one individual.  They also wanted a strong court system but not one legislating from the bench, so they sought to develop a system that gave the court strength but not extreme power. 

At the time of the Constitutional Convention in 1787, many were predisposed to developing a government that would provide a ‘separation of powers’ where three branches were ‘co-equal’ in responsibility and power.  This was certainly not a new idea but one that had never successfully been established as it would be in America.  Its roots can be traced to the 4th Century with Aristotle, championed by John Locke, refined, and expanded by Baron de Montesquieu. 

The writings of those men and others influenced many of our founders greatly, as did the desire to safeguard against the monarchial system.  They wanted a strong executive held in check by a defined legislature balanced by a judiciary that reviewed matters from a constitutional basis.  That worked splendidly for decades but has been incredibly eroded over the past few decades, especially in the past few years. 

In our present condition, we have an administration pushing the limits of presidential authority, a congress abdicating responsibility, and a court where nine black-robed persons virtually decide what is legal and what is not. 

Instead of having a ‘balance of power’ where three branches are ‘co-equal’ providing checks and balances, we have blurred lines and distortion.  Our founders warned us of the dangers of any of the three branches becoming too strong or weak and laid the ultimate responsibility at the feet of WE, THE PEOPLE!  If every generation does not ‘refresh the tree of liberty,’ we will find that we are truly ‘one generation’ away from losing our liberty.

  • When the president, attorney general, and other major political figures encourage the disregard for our justice system from a purely racial perspective, we invite disruption of the peace. 
  • When they encourage people to disturb the Peace in protest rather than attempting to educate about the process and the facts and maintain civil decorum, it is an invitation to lawlessness. 
  • When a president exercises power outside the constitutional scope of that office, ignores Congress, and disobeys the courts, it is rightly called tyranny. 
  • When Congress abdicates its responsibility to exercise the power of the purse, pass legislation, and give oversight to the lawful exercise and observance of those laws, we can rightly call them impotent. 
  • When the courts render decisions that can only be understood as rewriting laws, we can rightly accuse them of abuse of power. 

We have each of those happening to a greater or lesser degree in present-day America.  I do not wonder what our founders would say, for I believe they demonstrated that in the American Revolution, Declaration of Independence, and Constitutional Convention. 

The president, attorney general, and some major political figures continue to call for those of a particular ethnicity to create havoc because they perceive a wrong has transpired.  Those in leadership are fanning the flames of hatred and racism, which will result in incredible chaos if WE, THE PEOPLE, fail to unite our voices. 

We must all realize that while our system is not perfect, the Constitution must be respected.  I am not calling for watering the tree of liberty with the blood of patriots, as did Jefferson, but I am calling for watering the tree of liberty with our unified voice, demanding a return to Constitutional Republicanism and lawfulness. 

America needs, no requires, our United Voice of Support for liberty in contrast to the voices of hate.  America needs leaders who protect and defend the Constitution, even if it is not what they would prefer.  America needs leaders who will follow the law, working to change all bad laws and serve as representatives of the people, not purveyors of power and position.

America, we have a man in the oval office that is not cognitively capable of guiding our ship of state.  His handlers are making republic-destroying decisions and imposing impossible restrictions upon our liberties.  We are being incrementally destroyed, and it is up to us to unite and fight the good fight of faith for Faith, Family, and Freedom.

The overly corrupt FBI, the weaponized IRS, and the abuses by many of the bureaus within the federal government are dangerous, if not deadly.  The blatant disregard for the non-WOKE elements in our society and the forced acceptance of those following the toxic liberal agenda make it impossible for our republic to survive.  We must rekindle the spirit of patriotism and return to Constitutional governance, or we will see our republic disappear. 

My heart breaks for America, and I plead, God bless America, and God bless you!

SELF-INFLICTED WOUNDS ARE THE WORST…


A few weeks ago, we celebrated Memorial Day 2023, and I truly hope that everyone engaged in some deep introspection and examined the reason for the celebration.  It was not about fireworks, barbeques, the lake, leisure, and time off work.  It was about the incredible sacrifice of our fallen heroes.  It was about Freedom and the incredibly high price tag it carries.  It was about those fallen, their families, and in a measure, those who suffered incredible wounds but did not die.  It was and is about Freedom, America, and Love!

I often weep as I reflect on where we are as a nation and how far we have drifted from our origins.  The lack of gratitude and awareness of what we are supposed to be all about and the sacrifices to make it a reality is alarming.  I am a Vietnam Veteran, but this is not about me.  It is about those who paid the ultimate price.  It is about their families that were left to suffer the grief and loss of their loved ones.  It is about those crippled by PTSD and other physical and mental wounds incurred in the fight for freedom.  It is about love and forgiveness.  If we miss that, we miss our purpose as America!

I have often reflected on the warning of our predecessors and founders about self-destruction.  Some today are so captivated by the abnormal, perverse, and antagonistic that they detest what we identify as normal, decent, good, and peaceable.  Some are more interested in the fight than the solution.  Some are more fixated on differences than similarities and possibilities of unity. 

We have drifted or abandoned absolutes in much of America. That condition is nowhere more apparent than in academia and politics.  It is creeping into religion and will prove far more destructive than all the others combined.  We have created a self-devouring monster in America, and those of us who are watching are horrified at the rapidity of the creeping, cancerous thinking being advanced, embraced, and lauded. 

When we allow deviant thoughts and preferences to force compliance to their deviancy, we inflict wounds on ourselves.  When we give preferential treatment to select groups at the expense of decent, hardworking, family-oriented people, we inflict deadly wounds on ourselves.  When we strip those who want the American ideals presented in the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution of more and more of what they have earned, we guarantee our own destruction. 

The idea of entitlement, foreign to the Constitution, destroys incentive and encourages more deviancy in thought and action.  We inspire people to be uninspired and allow power-hungry elitist politicians and powerbrokers to shred our republic.  What do they want to replace it with?  Totalitarianism in which they are the totalitarians.  They want power and control and believe nothing immoral or unethical in achieving that goal. 

In America, every citizen is entitled to the same rights under the law.  No group, individual, or organization is entitled to special consideration, promotion, or remuneration.  The incredibly dangerous idea that no one should ever be offended is a pathway to an impossible societal condition where destruction is guaranteed.  The view of our founders that shaped our formation is that “All are created equal and have been granted certain inalienable rights by our Creator.”  The right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness without infringement and usurpation by the government or the WOKE snowflakes are included.

If we do not return to absolute values, biblical precepts, and moral standards and demand our politicians’ ethical behavior, we will finally inflict a death blow to the republic.  The rights of one cannot be demanded at the expense of the rights of others.  None of us have a right not to be offended.  The Bible speaks of offense and uses the phrase “takes offense.”  It is a choice to be offended, and if you value Freedom, including freedom of speech for yourself, you must also defend it for others.  Failure is to inflict wounds on ourselves that guarantee our destruction. 

The political elitists of today and the cognitive deficiency in the current president are creating a world where they are self-absorbed and isolated from the world around them.  They do not see us as co-equals but as necessary pawns to achieve their designs.  They are not public servants but public overseers and masters, in their view. 

Our Western and American culture’s bedrock is Freedom of Speech.  The founders understood that the right and privilege to think one’s own thoughts and express them peaceably was essential for the republic to survive and thrive.  If we cannot question or even criticize the government, how are we different from the despotic regimes of totalitarians and authoritarians of the world?  If speech is not free, we are not free!

The day we disallow Freedom of Speech is the day we cease to be the Free Constitutional Republic of our founding.  I am appalled at the PC Police’s power and the ability of the WOKE world to force those who disagree to have a voice.  The pronoun police insisting that we call self-described gender deviations by the desired pronoun is anathema to both America’s founding and the Bible. 

During the COVID pandemic and paranoia, we watched the devastation of Executive Fiats.  The implemented mandates destroyed lives, businesses, and relationships and weakened our republic.  The drastic measures deemed necessary crossed party lines and, rather than saving the nation, weakened it perceptibly. 

History is replete with examples of how power-thirsty rulers gained ultimate control and power.  One of the most visible was by creating emergencies and taking actions to ‘save the people.’  However, their purpose was not the salvation or safety of the people but power and control.   When these despots create their emergencies, they use propaganda and the perception of immense danger to create a situation where the people beg for relief.  They transpired by giving up freedom for perceived safety, and as Benjamin Franklin warned, “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” 

Liberty and safety do not have to be at odds with each other. Still, if we cede our liberties and inalienable rights for government protection, we will discover, as did Germany under the Nazis, that we have lost both.  When we succumb to the imposed mandates without questioning and demanding more information and verification, we inflict wounds on our republic.  Self-inflicted wounds are the deadliest. 

America, will we recover our reason and revive our spirit of freedom sufficiently to restore the Constitution to its rightful place in our government, or will we continue to inflict wounds on ourselves?  If we return to reason and unite, we will survive.  If we do not, we will watch the systematic reversal of our history and our republic.  We must return to moral sanity as the Bible teaches and right behavior and freedom as described in our Constitution.

WHERE ARE WE SOCIALLY, MORALLY, ECONOMICALLY, AND POLITICALLY?


Okay, I realize that is virtually impossible to answer, and with all four of those elements inserted into the equation, it becomes even more daunting.  I am a born-again Christian, a believer in the God of the Bible, in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Most-High, a natural-born American citizen, a patriot, a Vietnam Veteran, and a lover of Freedom!  Does that qualify me to address these issues?  Not on the surface.  I am not an expert in anything except my own opinion.  By that, I mean I have an opinion and know what it is more than anyone else, so that qualifies me as an expert, right?  (Tongue firmly planted in cheek).

However, with all the self-proclaimed experts in Washington, the Media, Hollywood, Entertainment, and a multitude of activist groups, I am unafraid to venture into the troubled waters of today and offer an opinion.  I readily state that what I offer, although backed up by some pertinent data, is my view not to be viewed as infallible.  Only God is infallible!

I keep reading and seeing reports of a significant decline in religion in America.  I do not want to split hairs about religion vs. relationship as being the true determiner of Christianity.  I use the term religion because it is easily understood as being connected to Church and those who hold the Bible as relevant.  I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God rather than simply being a book that contains some of the Word of God and then filled with errors and fables.  I reject that.  If that offends you, then your issue is not really with me, the messenger, but the originator of that thought, God.

We are told that in the Millennials and Gen Z’ers, there is a marked decline and rejection of the Bible, Christianity, the Church, and the precepts taught in the Bible.  I am sure there is an element of truth in that, but is it as widespread and pervasive as we are being told?  I do not know, but if it is not, the objective in presenting that idea is to influence more of those generations and discourage the rest who are Christians.

The 2022 General Social Survey (GSS) reported that the question posed in this survey has been asked annually since 1972.  That would give a lengthy track to evaluate the trend.  In this report, the Silent Generation and Baby Boomers who profess faith in God decreased by 5 percent since 1988. The Silent Generation dropped from 70 to 65 percent, and the Boomers from 65 to 60 percent.  It seems that the percentage of believers has declined with each successive generation.  There are a thousand reasons for that condition, which is more to my point in this article.

The younger generations’ declaration of faith in God is even less and has fallen more rapidly, per this report.  We are told that only 43 percent of the Millennials believe in God today compared to 53 percent in the late 90s. The Gen Z group is dropping more dramatically from 45 percent to 31 percent.  Again, each successive generation has lost its faith in God, the Bible, and the tenets of Christianity.

Between 1972 and 2022, those who never attended increased by 24 percent.  Those who attend weekly have dropped by 19 percent.  That is not a good sign when academia is working overtime with the government, activist groups, and other entities to discredit and discount the Bible and God.  The more God is dismissed, the more moral failure increases, including crime and lasciviousness.

Politically we are informed that 46 percent of Biden supporters in 2020 identified as non-religious. The projection is that the Democrats and liberal politics will gain ground in suburban areas that are predominately white but with a fading religious base. That points directly to states such as Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.  Texas and Florida will likely hold off the leftist advances, but for how long?

The reality is that the culture war that is being engaged is truly a battle to restore religion of faith in God to America.  Failure to achieve that objective will result in more of the lunacy we are witnessing with gender confusion, sexual deviancy, lack of moral turpitude, and an increase in crime, including sexual assault and murder.  Drugs will become more prevalent, and absolutes will disappear even more.

Anyone with even one eye open should acknowledge that there has been a dramatic decline in morals in America.   We need a miracle to restore the republic, salvage the home and family, and restore even a semblance of safety and security in America.  I am appalled at what is happening today and the lack of concern that young children are being exposed to lewdness and depravity on the airwaves and in our public schools.

I do not mean to be crude and vulgar, but I was apprised of an electric sign at a subway platform with the caption – “We Love Vaginas.”  Those words were posted above the photograph of a woman’s lower half, wearing skimpy black panties, knees raised, and separated.  There is no sense of shame anymore.  I have heard some argue that pornography is an art and must be protected and made available without restraint to anyone.

Television programs and newscasts refrained from obscenities not long ago, but they are the norm today.  Today, there is nothing off-limits for school libraries.  The overt descriptions and pictorial accounts of virtually every form of perversion are deemed acceptable and appropriate.  I do not, but then I am one voice. 

I am reminded of an English preacher and polemicist who led the fight in 1833 England against slavery but established the Society for the Suppression of Vice earlier in 1802.  The SSV had a long list of offending vices that needed to be expunged from British society.  One was “Profanation of the Lord’s Day (Sunday), profane swearing, publication of blasphemous, licentious and obscene books, false weights and balances, and many others.” 

Wilberforce was concerned with publishing and distributing “licentious and obscene books.”  Today that is deemed normal and even acceptable by many in society and some in the church.  The “F-Word” is common today and bandied about by both sexes with no restraint. 

Corporate America has launched an unmistakable war on religion, and if we do not choose sides and stand for what is right, we will watch our children be sucked into the black hole of depravity.   Everyone is aware of the Bud Light commercial that enlisted a trans woman to sell their beer.  Target hired a Satanist to design LGBT clothes for kids and began selling ‘binding’ and ‘tucking’ swimwear targeting children ages 2-7.

We know that June is now identified as “pride month.”  Many corporate brands have pushed their chips to the center of the table, joining the rainbow cause.  The time has come to not only choose sides but possibly even religions.  There are only two sides in this war.  I align with C.S. Lewis’ side called Tao, which was his ecumenical shorthand for objective moral truth.    He said, “The Tao, which others may call Natural Law or Traditional Morality or the First Principles of Practical Reason or the First Platitudes, is not among a series of possible systems of value.”  He said, “It is the sole source of all value judgments.  If it is rejected, all value is rejected.  If any value is retained, it is retained.”

The contrast is what has been called “The Machine.”  Its roots are deeply embedded in the Nietzschean rebellion against God, which is truly a “rebellion against everything: roots, culture, community, families, and biology itself.”  Both streams date back to the Garden of Eden and the Fall of Man.

Corporate America has entered the fight; even if some go broke, they will not retreat.  We must resist them and refuse to relent.  We must reject them and rethink the value of our Faith in God and our religious foundations.  It will require sacrifices and may mean some have to redevelop their professional pathways.  But be assured that no one will be able to straddle the fence.  This will be a fight to the finish, and we either get in or get run over.   I am ALL IN for Jesus and America!

WHAT DOES INDEPENDENCE DAY MEAN?


Tomorrow is July 4, 2023, and the day we celebrate Independence Day in the United States of America.  This is the 247th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence from Great Britain.  The formal declaration that the American colonies would no longer deem themselves to be under the governance of the King of England, George III.

The long struggle for Independence, which was nothing short of a miracle, was fought from 1775 to 1783.  The armed conflict was jumpstarted in April 1775 when colonial militiamen in Lexington and Concord engaged the British troops.  It was not until 1778 that France entered the war on the side of the colonists, turning what could be called a civil war into an international conflict.  It was in 1781 that the British forces surrendered to the Continental Army at Yorktown that signaled the end of the war.  However, the formal recognition of Independence was not achieved until 1783.

The Second Continental Congress convened in Philadelphia, where they voted to form a Continental Army led by George Washington.  The Battle of Bunker Hill ended with a British victory. Still, the Continental Army inflicted heavy damage on the British forces led by General Howe and encouraged the colonists immeasurably.

Almost from the outset, General Washington had to be creative and endured incredible difficulty keeping his army intact and supplied.  The many obstacles that were overcome testify to and solidify the belief of those men and many of us today that failure would have been the outcome without God’s divine providence. 

History records that the British strategy in 1777 was to advance a two-pronged attack to split New England and make it impossible for the Continental Army to survive.  British General John Burgoyne’s forces marched from Canada southward to meet General Howe’s forces on the Hudson River.  But the best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.

General Burgoyne suffered incredible losses in retaking Fort Ticonderoga.  At the same time, General Howe moved his forces south from New York to confront General Washington near Chesapeake Bay.  The battle of Brandywine Creek in Pennsylvania occurred on September 11th, when the British defeated the Americans and entered Philadelphia on September 25th.  General Washington recovered and counterstruck Germantown in early October before withdrawing to Valley Forge for the winter.

The move by General Howe, a strategic blunder, hindsight reveals, left General Burgoyne’s forces exposed near Saratoga, New York, and on September 19th American General Horatio Gates defeated the British at Freeman’s Farm in the first Battle of Saratoga.  On October 7th, a second defeat at Bemis Heights, called the Second Battle of Saratoga, caused Burgoyne to surrender, which proved to be the ultimate turning point in the war. 

Many more battles transpired. Finally, General Cornwallis retreated to the Yorktown peninsula in Virginia, where the York River empties into the Chesapeake Bay.  With the backing of the French under General Jean Baptiste de Rochambeau, Washington moved against Yorktown.  The thirty-six French ships prevented British reinforcements from arriving, and Cornwallis was trapped.  He surrendered his army on October 19th

Cornwallis, ever the narcissist and refusing to suffer personal embarrassment to the upstart colonists, who were lesser in his mind, claimed to be ill and could not attend the formal surrender.  He sent his second, Charles O’Hara, who approached General Rochambeau in another slight to the Americans. Rochambeau deferred to General Washington, who astutely recognized the situation and sent his second, Benjamin Lincoln, to accept the surrender sword.  Bravo, Generals Rochambeau, and Washington! 

In 2023, July 4th is on a Tuesday, giving millions a four-day weekend.  Unfortunately, many in America today only see this as a day off work rather than reflecting on the holiday’s significance.  It is more than picnics, boating, and fireworks.  It is about the birth of a Republic that championed individual rights and freedom. 

Independence Day is It is about the birth of a Republic that recognized the inalienable rights of all men and led to a constitution that sought to guarantee the protection of those rights.  We are in another war today, but it is not a war with outside forces but a war within to maintain our status as the Free Constitutional Republic where God is honored and man’s inalienable rights are recognized.

Before 1776 the colonists were accustomed to celebrating the King’s birthday with ringing bells, fireworks, parades, and speeches.  In 1776 the colonists celebrated differently by holding mock funerals for King George III to symbolize that the monarchy’s hold on America was over. 

The typical festivities included concerts, bonfires, parades, and the firing of canons and muskets with a public reading of the Declaration of Independence.  General Washington celebrated by issuing double rations to his troops in 1778 and 1781.  Then politics entered, and the Federalists and Democratic-Republicans held separate celebrations in many larger cities.

You might be interested to know that the first recorded fireworks were used as early as 200 BC.  But, in the colonies, on July 4th, there would be massive celebrations, and the ships in the harbors would fire a 13-gun salute to the Thirteen Colonies that made up the New United States of America.  Celebrations grew even more prolifically after the War of 1812 when we faced down the British a second time. 

In 1870 the U.S. Congress made July 4th a federal holiday, and in 1941 the provision was made to grant a paid holiday to all federal employees.  In the 19th century, the holiday became more focused on leisure activities, family get-togethers, and barbeques.  The importance and meaning were on the decline.

The American flag, the symbol of freedom, and the Star-Spangled Banner’s playing, still marks the holiday in many places, but that too is on the decline.  Many do not know that two prominent presidents died on July 4, 1826, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams.  They died within hours of each other, and I have heard some insist it was planned.  By whom?  God?

America has enjoyed a long history of freedom, and our liberties, freedoms, and rights are in the balance today.  The globalists, fundamental transformists, and anti-American sentiment that is alive and well in America seek to rewrite our history and leave future generations ignorant of our history and purpose.  They desire that so they can manipulate thinking and thereby control the masses. 

We must remember that Freedom is always one generation away from extinction, and it is up to us to fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom.  Our duty and moral obligation is to stand up for America, the America of our Founding.  It is time for us to take back our government!

How?  We can only do it with prayer and a return to God.  We cannot do it at the polls alone or politically with laws, regulations, executive orders, or mandates.  We need to vote, but voting alone will not change people’s hearts.  We need God’s divine help and His face to shine upon us again.  I ask that you join me as we celebrate Independence Day, commit to intercede for America, and stand up and be counted!

MAMMA, HE’S CRAZY or MAMMA; I SEE CRAZY EVERYWHERE…


I am not referring to the Judd’s song from 1984 but to the lunacy of modern American politics.  The lunacy is pervasive in Washington, oozing out and engulfing a large swath of our society.  Sir Isaac Newton said, “I can calculate the motion of the heavenly bodies but not the madness of people.” 

Just reading the headlines of various blogs and news media sites reveals the utter lunacy and madness prevalent in our world in 2023.  I wish I could say this is a passing trend, and a return to sanity and normalcy is around the corner, but I believe this is the new normal.  I also believe this new normal will become darker and open the door for our self-destruction as a republic.  It does not have to happen, but when those in the asylum run the institution, nothing productive results.

I want to wade through a few headlines and reports to validate my contention that craziness is the new norm in America and American politics.  The Supreme case Tingley v. Ferguson is revealing.  Brian Tingley, a 20-year marriage and family counseling veteran, appealed to the SCOTUS to hear his challenge to a discriminatory law passed by Washington State in 2018.

In almost fifty percent of the states and the District of Columbia, when a counselor legally guides a minor patient to embrace his or her God-given biological sex when that boy or girl is buffeted by the winds of transgender hysteria and confusion is banned.  That is called “conversion therapy.”  Tingley argues that the law violates his inalienable right of speech and his religious liberty.  He argues that the Washington law is “anti-religious” and violates “his right to live his faith.”

Based on this law, a licensed counselor is not permitted to encourage minors to fight through their mental, emotional, and spiritual turmoil and embrace their God-given gender identity.  However, the law does allow licensed counselors to encourage and guide them in the other direction and embrace a transgender identity.  If that is not discriminatory, then I must not know the definition of discriminatory.

Research by the CMDA indicates that about 80 percent of minors who experience gender confusion “naturally align” their thinking to their biological sex over time.  That would mean that the Gender-transition procedures (GTPs) pushed by those counselors would be devastating and, if followed through, medically irreversible.  That could and does lead to an increase in suicides and other adjustment issues that makes life a living hell for them and those around them.

The gender confusion being pushed is madness, and to prevent licensed counselors from following their core convictions and the minors from resisting the push to pursue irreversible action is a violation of our inalienable rights and our moral mandate.  I believe there are two genders as created by God, male and female.  To insist that young children are mentally, morally, and socially mature enough to make those decisions is idiotic and dangerous. 

Another evidence of the pervasive lunacy and madness in today’s world is Peter Singer’s insistence that AI (Artificial Intelligence) should have human rights.  What?  This illustrious ethics professor at Princeton University also argues for abortion and euthanasia.  He gives AI more favor than the life of the unborn in the womb and the right for people to live until God takes them home.

He said: “They say, “Well, you know, do we know whether a lobster is really conscious?” and I would say look, there is some evidence that a lobster is conscious and capable of feeling pain, and even if we’re not completely sure, we should give the benefit of the doubt.”  However, the scientifically and medically documented fact that the baby in the womb can feel pain is inconsequential to him.  Lobsters are more valuable than human life, it would seem.

He, like most of the pro-choice or pro-abortion contingent, does not believe that the babies in the womb are people.  He said, “Killing a newborn baby is never equivalent to killing a person, that is, a being who wants to go on living.”  To confound the matter even more, he acknowledges that he admits that life begins at conception but argues that a human life is not worth preserving or even simply not actively destroying just on the basis of it being a human life.  That is beyond lunacy and madness!  He said, “I don’t think that the fact that an embryo is a living human being is sufficient to show that it is wrong to kill it.”  I have no words to describe my horror at that attitude!

Another is a current contention that ‘Waking up Early is Racist.’  That’s right; if you thought that rising early, being productive, and being industrious was a good thing, you are deemed wrong; it is racist.  That’s the contention, and it is utter madness.  The purveyors of this idea contend that by getting up early, you are affirming a system that’s roots are embedded in white supremacy.  You are, therefore, part of the problem and must change or be punished.

The contention was that slaves were forced to get up early; therefore, anyone who wakes up early is racist because they are perpetuating the system that produced slavery.  Do not try to argue that for centuries and millenniums, people have gone to bed and arose with the sun out of situational necessity.  Forget the fact that multiplied millions, if not billions, of people throughout human history have had to wake up early and put in a hard day’s work to survive and provide for themselves and their families; it is racist.

What seems to be missed in all this craziness and lunacy is the undercurrent seeking to tear down every shred of our societal framework and make everything racist.  If you get up early, exercise, labor, and do things to be healthier and wealthier, you are racist.  If you participate in home exercise and outdoor sports, seek to maintain a healthy weight, eat a healthy diet, be on time, and wake up early, you are racist.  Personal responsibility is also racist.  This is beyond madness; it is diabolical, destructive, and deadly.

I believe in God!  I am a follower of Jesus Christ, a Christian!  I get up early and have all my life.  I strive to be on time all the time.  I do not exercise as I should nor eat as healthily as I should, but I believe those are good things.  I hate no one and begrudge no one what they have acquired through their labors and even inheritances.  I am not a racist, but according to the modern WOKE mentality, I am because I am a white male of European lineage. 

America, if we continue to allow the lunacy being advanced and imposed on us to prevail, we are destroying ourselves.  If we allow our children’s continued indoctrination and brainwashing, we are destroying ourselves.  We will destroy ourselves if we continue to demand tolerance of everything that violates our core convictions and the Bible. 

It is time that we return to our moral moorings and reestablish our commitment to and value of morality, ethics, family, and faith.  We can salvage this republic, but only by casting off the lunacy that is being demanded, returning to God, and uniting as a singular voice that says, NO MORE!

GOD, GOVERNMENT, AND AMERICA’S HISTORY…


I realize I am standing on the edge of a chasm that separates people, especially in the political world.  Including God, the Bible, and Christianity in any discussion regarding government and politics frequently opens the door to hateful vitriol.  It becomes a hotbed of dissension, and almost immediately, we are told that our founders wanted an impenetrable wall of separation between the church and the state.  By that, most assume that means nothing of God, Christianity, or the Bible can be included in government.

I have been asked and asked, “Did America have a Christian Founding?”  I have asked that in church circles, academic groups, and liberal and conservative gatherings, and a stunning majority of the time, I hear – NO!  Those on both sides of the answer use flawed logic and presentations to prove their point. 

Let me state that I believe we did have a founding rooted in Christianity, the Bible, and faith in God.  I believe that the founders wanted to have a separation between church and state not to prevent anything of God from influencing governmental decisions but to prevent the state from infringing upon the religious liberties of Americans.  The 1st Amendment was designed to prevent the government from usurping our inalienable rights of speech, assembly, religion, and press. 

Simply, we were to be free to say what we thought, gather peaceably, worship according to our beliefs, and write what we believed without undue obstruction by the government.  Keeping anyone from being offended at what we said, thought, or wrote was not the objective; ensuring that we would always maintain that right was. 

Today, this administration and previous administrations, at the behest of the globalists, and activists of various sects, have placed our religious and other liberties in the crosshairs.  If they could, they would censor all pulpits that preach biblical precepts and principles that are counter to their particular ideology and agenda.

The America of today does not resemble the America of the late 1700s or even the America of the 1950s.  During the past couple of decades, our identity as a Christian nation with a Christian and biblical foundation has been significantly eroded.  History is replete with declarations by our founders of their view regarding the providence of God and how it was by His guidance and grace that we became a nation and then became arguably the greatest nation known to man.  We were a beacon of freedom and hope shining into the darkness of hopelessness.

What was the view of the masses in 1776?  Historically, we find that almost every European American, except for about 2,500 Jews, identified as a Christian.  I would say all, but that is doubtful, although virtually everyone expressed a belief in God.  Historical records indicate that about 98 percent of the colonist were protestants, and the remaining 1.9 percent were Roman Catholic. 

I acknowledge that statistic is almost meaningless because we do not know the depth of their Christian commitment or adherence.  They may have been like some of the GOP, identified as RINOs; they may be CINOS (Christians in name only).   The argument that most of our founders were Deists is countered by some of their writings and other historians. Who is right, and who is wrong?  No amount of detail would fully persuade those who are persuaded.  It is almost, “My mind’s made up, don’t confuse me with the facts.” 

Just as it is possible for a nominal Christian to be influenced by Christian ideas, it is equally possible for an orthodox devout Christian to be influenced by non-Christian ideas.  I believe the case is easily made that the Bible highly influenced our founders and that Christianity profoundly influenced them. 

If we make 1776 the beginning place of the founding of the nation, we err and subject ourselves to a skewed view of the true American founding.  I agree with historians such as Gary De Mar that our “nation begins not in 1776, but more than one hundred fifty years earlier.”  If we go back to the beginning, we are much more likely to understand how God, the Bible, and Christianity influenced our founders and defined our republic.

The Puritans were serious in their desire and attempted to create “a shining city upon a hill.”  Early colonial laws and constitutions actually incorporated entire biblical texts.  Therefore, dismissing the influence of the Bible, God, and Christianity is impossible. 

In the late 18th century, the American Republic was brought to a new place of establishment through the War for Independence.  For many, that is entirely unbiblical based on Paul’s discourse in Romans 13 about subjection to civil authorities.  But history reveals that in the 12th century, Christian scholars allowed for citizens to overthrow evil kings.  John Calvin, possibly the most politically conservative of those of his era, contended that it was mandated by God to do just that in some cases.

Those views predated Locke’s “Two Treatises of Government,” which profoundly influenced colonial America.  The “Black Robed Regiment” (dissenting clergy) actively participated in the War for Independence.  They preached it from their pulpits, threw off their clerical robes, and took up arms fighting for freedom in the name of God.

The Declaration of Independence makes it impossible to dismiss the influence of God, the Bible, and Christianity on the founders.  “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”  The text makes references to the laws of nature and of nature’s God, appealed to the Supreme Judge of the world, and expresses their reliance on the protection of divine Providence.  How could we not conclude that Christianity was a significant, if not a supreme, influence on our founding?

Christianity is not mentioned in the Constitution or Bill of Rights. Still, it is inescapable, and the repeated reminders by our founders of the value of morality, ethical behavior, and sinfulness of man substantiate the view that we were founded as a Christian nation. 

In Federalist 51, James Madison famously declared, “If men were angels, no government would be necessary.  If angels were to govern, neither external or internal controls on government would be necessary.”  Obviously, we are not angels and not governed by angels in America.  The moral standards of the Bible were lauded, and we have a mountain of evidence in the laws passed that affirm that reality. 

In 1947 we took a significant shift in the wrong direction, slowly eroding our Christian foundations and transforming America into something unrecognizable by the founders.  The Supreme Court decision in Emerson v. Board of Education.  Justice Wiley Rutledge expressed the view that the founders desired an impenetrable wall of separation between church and state to prevent anything of God in the government.  But that is inconsistent with the written expressions of the founding fathers.

The founding fathers believed that religious liberty was a right that had to be protected.  I encourage you to read George Mason’s 1776 draft of Article XVI of Virginia’s Declaration of Rights.  James Madison argued for an amended wording to clarify that “the free exercise of religion” is a right, not a privilege granted by the state.  It is inalienable!  Even our first Congress, the body of legislators that crafted the 1st Amendment, as their first act was to appoint and pay congressional chaplains.  Does that sound like they wanted to ban God, the Bible, and Christianity from Government?

I do not wish to make this treatise overly lengthy, but it must include a letter written by Founder Benjamin Rush in 1791.  He said: “To the arguments I have mentioned in favour of the use of the bible as a schoolbook, I shall add a few reflexions. The present fashionable practice of rejecting the bible from our schools, I suspect, has originated with the deists. They discover great ingenuity in this new mode of attacking Christianity. If they proceed in it, they will do more in half a century in extirpating our religion than Bolingbroke or Voltaire could have effected in a thousand years. I am not writing to this class of people. I despair of changing the opinions of any of them. I wish only to alter the opinions and conduct of those lukewarm or superstitious Christians who have been misted by the deists upon this subject. On the ground of the good old custom of using the bible as a schoolbook, it becomes us to entrench our religion. It is the last bulwark the deists have left it; for they have rendered instruction in the principles of Christianity by the pulpit and the press, so unfashionable that little good for many years seems to have been done by either of them.”

America, our moral fiber has been severely damaged, and we have lost sight of the value of every human life and the benefit of the moral, ethical, societal, and governmental guidelines found in the pages of God’s Holy Writ.  We need, no, we must return to our moral moorings, or we will lose the Republic.

THE 2024 DOOR…


I believe that 2024 will be pivotal for the Republic known as the United States of America.  Of course, it will; every election is; however, I believe we are at the precipice of the exaltation or elimination of our Republic.  We will either see Constitutionality and the Rule of Law return along with a righting of the ship of moral sanity, or we will see the darkness of a failed republic.  Yes, that is apocalyptic, but I hold that view with a ray of sunlight and hope.

I believe in God!  That is a stand-alone statement!  My faith in God and belief in the principles and precepts taught in the Bible shape my view of life.  My Christian faith shapes my worldview.  My interpersonal relationships are based on my religious convictions.   I say that unapologetically.  I do not feel I have to defend God; He is far more capable than I am.  I must give the reason for the hope I hold in my heart and do it with civility and the love of God. 

I will address a minor segment of the revelations or confirmations of the Durham report regarding what has been going on and how it could affect the 2024 election.  If anyone still has any measure of faith in and trusts the Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Internal Revenue Service, or any of the federal bureaus, I would be stunned.  However, the history of the voting public and the superfluous diatribe in regurgitating the rhetoric of toxic liberalism opens the door for there to be some.  I hope they are few and far between, but politics is politics, and partisanship is alive and well in 2023.

The handwriting is on the wall, and if Congress (both parties) do not reign in the rogue FBI, a coup could also target them.  Those who use people are not excluded from being used by people.  Many of the players in Congress and the global fundamental transformists use people, and once their usefulness vanishes or expires, they are trashed or targeted.  What we are seeing is beyond Orwellian; it is a nightmare happening before our eyes.

The DOJ cannot and will not police itself, so Congress must assume that role if we are to survive.  The FBI cannot and will not police itself, so Congress must assume that role if we are to survive.  Congress cannot and will not police itself, so We, the People, must assume that role if we are to survive. 

We know what we need to do but do not know how to do it.  We are fragmented; the transformers know it and use it effectively against us.  We are biased, prejudiced, and sectarian on many fronts, which renders us easily manipulated as a nation.  A house divided against itself cannot stand, and we are a divided or fragmented house.

There are many theories why Donald Trump is so hated by those on both sides of the political aisle.  I dare not attempt to tell you why that hate is so prevalent.  I acknowledge that some may be self-inflicted.  However, the major reason those in power hate him is the threat he poses as an outsider and not a member of their fraternity.   Love or hate him, I believe he desires to see America great and is not afraid to act in the face of opposition.  No human that I have observed always makes the right decision every time, so I do not elevate Trump to infallible.  He has flaws like the rest of us.

The FBI whistleblower Garrett O’Boyle has placed his life and future on the line to come forward with hidden information.  If he is accurate and is relating the accounts accurately, we should all be deeply concerned.  He said, “I never swore an oath to the FBI; I swore an oath to the Constitution….”  That is how it should be. 

I did not swear an oath to the branch of the military I served in; I swore an oath to the Constitution.  My oath has no expiration, and my allegiance to the Constitution and God is unflappable.  When any bureau of agencies of the federal government becomes weaponized, we need the patriots to step forward and expose it.  That is the spirit of 1776 needed in today’s America!

We knew and now have it confirmed in the Durham report that the FBI played loose and free with facts and truth and ignored the rule of law in the 2016 election cycle.  It has been confirmed that they dropped four probes into Hillary Clinton and her family’s non-profit just before the 2016 election.  Why?  The only logical conclusion is corruption.  The desire and attempt to sway the election and insulate Hillary, the darling of the Left, drove their decisions.

The Little Rock and New York offices were investigating claims that an outside commercial industry “likely engaged a federal public official in a flow of benefits scheme. Namely, large monetary contributions were made to a non-profit, under the federal public official’s direct and indirect control, in exchange for favorable government action and influence.”  That should have been pursued with diligence because if any of it was true, crimes had been committed and were a potential threat to our national sovereignty. 

The DC investigation was based on allegations that the Clintons accepted millions in donations from foreign governments as well as very large Russian corporations in an attempt to influence U.S. foreign policy dating back to Hillary’s tenure as Secretary of State. 

The fourth investigation was looking into allegations made by what was called a “well-placed” source that Hillary continued accepting illegal donations throughout her presidential campaign. 

Why were these dropped?  Among other reasons was the presumption that she would be the Oval Office’s next occupant and have the power to upset their apple cart.  They were afraid of her.  I did not say they feared being another of the numerous suspicious suicides, but it cannot be ignored.  During their two years inside the Clinton camp, the FBI dragged its feet and refused to get wiretapping warrants for their ‘well-placed’ informant.

The matter of the fifty-one signatories of the bogus Hunter Biden Laptop letter still needs to be addressed.  The Hunter Biden Laptop was real, and every signer of the letter knew it; Biden knew it, the Democrats knew it, and the media knew it.  It was a part of the plan to destroy Trump, protect the Bidens, and shift the election.  The rampant corruption and fraud make it highly unlikely that any future election will be truly legitimate.

At this point, I could throw up my hands, throw in the towel, become a hermit, and try to hide from Big Brother’s all-seeing eye.  I could, but I refuse to do that.  I still believe in the American people that there will come a time; hopefully, before it is too late, they will realize we have been played and reject the chains of servitude being imposed incrementally. 

Beyond that, I believe in God and take 2 Chronicles 7:14 seriously and believe that IF we will repent, pray, seek the face and direction of God, and return to moral sanity, we will see God move to help us providentially.  There will be patriots rise up who can articulate and actuate the issue, the solution, and bring it into being.

We cannot solve the issue and save the republic via the ballot box alone, but on our faces before God.  I ask you to join those of us who are committed to interceding for America and willing to stand up and speak out as we sound the alarm and call to action.

HAVE WE LOST THE REPUBLIC?


I detest feeling the urge to be pessimistic regarding our Republic, but I ask, “Have we lost the republic?”  Has the ship of republicanism (system of government) sailed, never to return to the harbors of freedom again?  Has the fundamental transformation that Barack Obama salivated to achieve reached a point where it is inevitable?  Have we, the people, totally abdicated our constitutional, moral, ethical, and biblical responsibilities governmentally?  Is America still America?

Before you blast me with both barrels blazing, pause for a minute and ponder where we are and how little the Constitution means in today’s American government.  How little it means in the halls of justice, the bureaucracies, and virtually every sector of our American life.  If you can genuinely assess where we are and the abridgments and infringements that have transpired and say we are okay, what I say will either irritate you or dismiss me as a conspiracist cook.  Either way, another nail will have been driven into the coffin of the American Constitution and Republic.

I have had little to say about the Durham report because nothing will likely be done with the findings.  It exposes and then gives cover to the violators or enough cover that those in power will talk about it but do nothing.  That is business as usual in Washington from both sides of the political aisle. 

The 306-page report that took too long and cost too much revealed the egregious abuse of power and only exposed what has happened, is happening, and will continue to happen.  Unless there is a transformation of the human heart of those seeking to seize total control over our lives and government, it will continue.  That is not very optimistic, is it?  However, I will state that although I see the handwriting on the wall and the obvious dangers, I still believe in God. If God’s people and the lovers of freedom unite and return to moral and ethical sanity, we can salvage the Republic.

The incredibly blatant partisanship of the FBI is appalling. The knowing disregard of exculpatory evidence and the deception and lies advanced to obtain warrants on the Trump campaign are more than a little troubling.  The reality that our federal law enforcement could and would break the law and disregard the moral and ethical duty to follow the Constitution does not bode well for our Republican System of Government.

It has been said that power corrupts, and ultimate power corrupts ultimately.  That is apropos in Washington today.  I am not sure what each of the elements of the corruption thinks they will gain, but it involves money, power, position, and insulation from prosecution should the winds shift.  I believe that they believe they are betting on the winning horse or holding the winning hand and therefore have hitched their wagon to that star.  I pray they are wrong!

The FBI’s guiding principle statement is ‘Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity.’  The Durham report exposed the hypocrisy of the agency.  I do not want to throw every member of the FBI under the bus. Still, all who participated in and facilitated the fraud, corruption, distortion, lies, and deception are not worthy to carry that shield.  Those supposed guiding principles are not rooted in the hearts of many within that agency, especially those at the top.  It was blatant partisan politics seeking to shape, shift, and determine the election(s).

One thing John Durham did was lay out the abuse of power in unmistakable terms.  The fact that little is being said and little action is being taken should be terrifying to every American.  If they can do what they did to Trump and other Conservatives, they can do it to all of us.  If the FBI deems itself above the law and not subject to the moral, legal, ethical, and constitutional guidelines, they are a modern Gestapo.   That is not the America of our Founders nor the America many of us grew up loving.

If it were just the FBI, we might have a greater sense of optimism, but the CIA, DOJ, NSA, Homeland, IRS, and other agencies have been involved.  The DOJ and the FBI in this investigation are the most obvious, but the others were not innocent and without guilt.

When a self-determined elite hierarchy operates as they have, you cannot maintain a republic of free citizens with a government of, for, and by the people.  If we wonder what the founders would say about this, we only have to read some of their many writings.

John Adams eloquently stated, “Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.  It is wholly inadequate to the government of any others.”  George Washington concurred in his farewell speech, “’Tis substantially true that virtue and morality is a necessary spring of popular government.”  Those are only two of the many quotes we could cite.  The founders would align with Jefferson and call for “the tree of liberty to be watered with the blood of her patriots.”  They would not be milquetoast cowards!

Those who know me know that I base all I believe governmentally, socially, morally, and economically on the writings and teaching of the Bible.  I am a follower of Christ and believe the Bible to be The Word of God, not simply containing the Word of God.  I believe that without God’s providential help, there would be no America, and without his guiding hand, it cannot survive.  2 Chronicles 7:14 resonates with me. I believe the declaration of scripture that if we return to Him, He will return to us.

So how do we fix the problem?  We, the people, must determine that we will return to our moral moorings and reject any politician that plays free and loose with the Constitution regardless of party affiliation.  We must demand ethics, morality, truth, observance, and obedience to the Rule of Law and the Constitution.  If it is good for the goose (us), it is good for the gander (politicians, bureaucrats, justices, etc.).

Congress can pass a myriad of new rules and regulations, and they will be sidestepped and ignored like the previous ones were.  Unless we, the people, unite under the flag of freedom and recover our moral virtue and allegiance to the Constitution and thereby demand it from the political elitists in Washington, we will have lost the Republic. 

The FBI whistleblower Garret O’Boyle, one of three testifying to the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, warned others who might come forward – Don’t Do It!  He said that the FBI would destroy those who dared. His words, “They will crush you!  The government will crush you and your family if you attempt to expose the truth about the things, they are doing wrong….”  He said those like him are examples of what the government will do to those who spill the beans.

The verifiable reality of what they did to him should be enough to send chills down the spine of every citizen.  It invokes images of the Tsars in Russia, the diabolical tyrants of China, the Nazi regime in Germany, and more.  It is Idi Amin, Pol Pot, Porfirio Diaz (Mexico), Genghis Khan, Stalin, and a host of others.  The pathway to power is similar in each of them, and the abuse of power is evidenced in them all.

America, we MUST return to God and UNITE, or we will witness the final nails being driven into the coffin of the Republic.  I cannot and will not allow that in silence and compliance.  As Queen Esther responded to her Uncle Mordecai, “If I perish, I perish,” I avow the same.  Maybe we have come to the kingdom for such a time as this.  We must stand fast for Faith, Family, and Freedom, or we lose everything!

WHATCHA GONNA DO WHEN THE WELL RUNS DRY?


I am not talking about Fats Domino’s song “I’m Walkin’” or any songs with the theme of a welling running dry; I am talking about the United States of America as the Free Constitutional Republic.  There is only so much water in the Well of Liberty, and if it keeps being siphoned off and reclassified and redistributed to everyone but Americans, the well will run dry.

America was established to be a government for of and by the people.  It was designed to be a Republic governed by the consent of those governed.  That we no longer reflect that system of government is, in a great measure, our fault.  We allowed the infringement of our inalienable rights.  We allowed the usurpation of our Constitution.  We allowed the politicians to become overlords rather than amenable to us, the citizens.  We allowed a monster to be created; slaying that giant will be no small undertaking.

One of the many tactics to gain total control of our lives and livelihood is global warming, climate change, climate disruption, or whatever they are calling it these days.  The incredible paranoia and fear engendered by the superfluous diatribe and rhetoric are destructive in numerous ways.  One is the complete loss of hope among the gullible youth who believe the hype and see no hope for the future.  That has driven some of them to suicide.  That is tragic but deemed by the advocates of this agenda as acceptable collateral damage.  It is not!

The cost economically is astronomical, and we are not being told that solving the problem by 2030 will cost $50 Trillion.  However, they cannot tell us exactly how they will make that happen, but they need the money, so we should comply; otherwise, we will die due to climate disruption.  Man will cease to exist, and the planet will be unlivable.  The propagation of fear is driving people into a state of depression where they are unproductive in any sector of life.  The sky is falling, and they have resigned themselves to experiencing doomsday!

The cost socially is reflected in the complete disruption of relationships, including families and friendships.  If you disagree with the rhetoric and do not bow at the altar of Climate Change, you are deemed unworthy of any civility or even the air required to sustain life.  I have people who will no longer speak to me because, to them, I am a member of the flat earth and entirely out of touch with reality.  The planet’s climate is more important than the people on the planet.  They disregard valid scientific data and reject all biblical references to the earth’s sustainability.

The cost politically is experienced in continually eroding our rights, liberties, and freedoms.  We have effectively created an oligarchy of elitists and globalists incrementally gaining power. The more power they gain, the more we lose. The more they are able to demand behavior modification and dictate what we drive, wear, eat, housing, etc., the more we are being dominated by totalitarianism.

There are two versions or presentations of reality in this matter. There is the right (true) and the wrong (false).  The theories regarding carbon emissions and the hype that we will all die unless we end carbon emissions are flawed.  If we were to eliminate all carbon dioxide, we would die.  The hype over greenhouse gases is based on fallacious and manipulated data slanted to further the agenda.  The agenda’s core desire is not controlling the climate but controlling the masses of people.

I will not attempt to explain the fallacies involved but declare that I believe God created the heavens and the earth.  That means God created climate!  One of the promises of God found in Genesis 8:22 reveals His control.  Ecclesiastes 1:4 declares, “Generations come, and generations go, but the earth remains forever.”  We know from the Book of Revelation and other passages that there will be a global catastrophic occurrence that has nothing to do with climate change.  That being said, God is still God, and He was wise enough and knowledgeable enough to know what technology we would have.  I will not fear!

Another reality is that issuing a government fiat will not automatically make green energy viable or affordable.  It will not make electric vehicles viable or practical as the primary mode of transportation.  The costs involved and the need for fossil fuels to produce the equipment needed to manufacture the wind and solar plants or the modes of transportation reveal the need for all our energy sources.  Just throwing money at something does not make it valid; it makes it expensive. We must remember that with every government handout, there is a measure of government control demanded.  That again brings us to the core objective – Control, not of the climate but of the people.

In April of 2023, we encountered the misnamed “Inflation Reduction Act.”  It was advanced in a time of runaway inflation.  It followed the Alinsky modus Operandi of never allowing a crisis to go to waste.  Politicians attempted to give the American people a magic pill to cure our economic ills.  Multitudes were duped and bought it lock stock and barrel or hook, line, and sinker. 

I was appalled when Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen admitted the core purpose of the Inflation Reduction Act.  Did anyone hear what was said?  It did not seem so because we have continued to allow the politicians to do what they do best – break what is not broken and repair nothing.  She said, “The Inflation Reduction Act is, at its core, about turning the climate crisis into an economic opportunity.”  But for whom? 

The spending bill was so massive that no politician and virtually no citizen read it or will read it in its entirety.  Even if we did, we would need a gaggle of lawyers and constitutional experts to decipher what was beneath the surface properly.  It was a feel-good action used to placate the fears of economic collapse by millions of Americans and worldlings. 

Politicians have learned that they can insert anything they desire in their spending bills, thereby manipulating people and driving their agenda unimpeded.  It is always promoted in a manner that causes politicians to fear voting no because that would seem they did not care about the crunch the citizens or voters are feeling.

This Act seized the opportunity to advance their New Green Deal and thereby line the coffers and bank accounts of the elitists and advocates while stripping the citizens of our liberties.  They have become astute at the sleight of hand and the gradual fundamental transformation of our Republic.

One day the well of money will run dry.  They can only tax to a certain limit before we can no longer tolerate it and survive.  When they cross that demarcation line, we will either revolt or become literal slaves of the federal government and subsist on whatever they deem needed.  We will watch euthanasia become practiced as a necessary action, and America will die as the Free Constitutional Republic. 

Those are only a few dangers I see, and I believe it is time and necessary that we return to our moral moorings, biblical roots, and constitutional foundations.  We cannot survive this without God’s help and are not likely to have His divine intervention without returning to our roots and Him.  The choice is ours; what will we decide?
