BLOG POST 6 - Truth

There has been no concrete documented evidence to support the allegations that Donald Trump colluded with the Russians to defeat Hillary Clinton and enhance his chances of winning the 2016 Presidential Election.  Yet, that has not stopped the Left, the Establishment Republicans, and the Never Trump Crowd and we have been enduring the Special Investigator Robert Muller’s team and tactics for months.  Now, he has begun his indictments of those connected to Trump in any fashion and ignoring Hillary and her cronies whose hands are incredibly dirty with documented evidence.  There was collusion and a conspiracy and I would never say definitively that nobody on the Trump team played dirty, there is NO QUESTION that the Hillary and Obama team did.  Why is that not being investigated and not the headline bulletins in all print publications, on social media, and in the Main Stream Media?  WHY? That is too easy, it is because Trump is the threat to their ideological agenda they fear the most and to expose truth with regard to the Leftist would defeat their purposes.

Of course, you are familiar with the “Trump Dossier” produced by Fusion GPS which has largely been debunked and even the creators have tacitly admitted fabrications.  In that document which John McCain sought to use against Trump the charge of “Golden Showers” among many other fabrications is the prime tool of the Leftist as they insist it is real and shows the mental derangement and collusion of Trump and his team.  Let’s dig a little deeper into Fusion GPS and now they are trying to block investigators from obtaining their bank records?  WHY?  If you are legitimate and have nothing to hide, why hide?  Their representatives have repeatedly taken the Fifth on Capitol Hill.  Their bank records have been subpoenaed but Fusion GPS is seeking court help to prevent that from happening.  On one hand, I understand not wanting to turn over bank records to Congress and on the other, I must ask, “Who are they trying to protect other than themselves?”  Hey, when you release dirt on the Clintons there is a good chance you will meet with an untimely death often via suicide (so reported) or strange natural causes.  It is dangerous to cross the Clintons.  Hey, Chuckie and Miss Nancy and the rest of the Democrats where are your cries for TRANSPARENCY?  Wait, I keep forgetting you want transparency when it does not involve your side.  My bad what was I thinking?

There are many other items regarding Hillary, Podesta, Obama, and the Left but how about the collusion and conspiracy in attempting to STEAL the Election via the Illegal Voters.  I recently saw a report by the Government Accountability Institute that gives credibility to Donald Trump’s Advisory Commission on Election Integrity and reveals how daunting their task is.  The GAI has revealed that thousands of the votes cast in 2016 were illegal duplicates from people who were registered in multiple states.  This Institute managed to obtain voter registration data from only 21 states.  They could not get more because some of those states make it virtually impossible or financially unfeasible to pursue that information.  If you extrapolate the data they were able to obtain to all 50 states it would represent at least 45,000 duplicate votes.  That may not sound like a lot but consider those races or states where the vote totals were a few thousand votes.  A case in point would be New Hampshire where Hillary won by less than 3,000 votes and you see how individual states often hinge on a handful of votes.  My question is, “How many voted in California as duplicates or simply by non-citizens going to the polls?”  It has been suggested that there were several million and I would not be surprised.  This is another reason to maintain the Electoral College now in the crosshairs of the Democrats because voter fraud is much easier if you do not have to deal with 50 separate states only vote totals.

We have Obama administration holdovers in the Trump administration hiding Hillary emails and have been doing so for years.  We know that Robert Muller as the FBI Director and then James Comey in that role hid or swept under the rug information about “Russian bribery” in the Obama/Clinton Uranium Deal with Russia.  It would have been a major feather in the cap of our law enforcement and intelligence communities to have brought down a major Russian nuclear corruption scheme.  It was a scheme that lined the coffers of Obama and the Clintons, placed our national security at risk, and allowed Russian access to sensitive facilities and materials within our borders.  HOW IS THAT DEEMED OKAY?  They had the goods and could have exposed this but MUM WAS THE WORD.  Why?  Again, that is too easy.  It was because our federal law enforcement and the intelligence agencies involved (at least at the top) were nothing more than front men for the Leftist Agenda.  Those same people are now investigation Donald Trump with a dogged abandon but were complicit in the corruption, collusion, and conspiracies of the Clintons and Obama.  This is simply, in my mind, further validation of the anti-American position of Barack Obama and I believe Clinton and the Left.

Another thing that troubles me and some will think this unrelated is the SILENCE of the Church on what is happening.  Silence regarding the Left but much of the Church Leadership is vocal on their distrust and dissatisfaction with the 2016 Presidential Election.  I have long contended with the Church is Silent evil prevails or most assuredly gains a foothold and finds inroads into our society to destroy and damage.  No, I am not asking or calling for every pastor to become a political spokesperson but I am asking that pastors, as watchmen on the walls, sound the alarm when they see danger and expose sin as sin where sin exists.

There is Collusion, Corruption, and Conspiracy but it is in the largely if not completely in the camp of the Left and yet, those on the Left and many on the Right have no interest in pursuing it and uncovering the real truth.  No, they want the person removed from office that is an outsider and not part of the network of political cronies.  If anyone threatens the Deep State, the Swamp, the Ole Boy System and the Status Quo they are deemed Public Enemy Number One.  How dare the voters elect anyone not part of the Establishment.  After all, we are far too stupid, in their view, to know what is best for the country and our insistence on the Constitution being followed is anathema to them.  Yes, we, the Deplorables are the blame and they must rescue us from our error.  Maybe it is time we rescued the Republic from their error and replace them as soon as possible.

YES ALICE, THE POLITICIANS THINK WE ARE STUPID…


BLOG POST 5 - Stupid

I could go dozens of directions from that statement but one of the areas they continue to demonstrate their belief that we are the unwashed ignorant masses is with regard to TAXES.  They fan the flames of public ignorance in hopes of it morphing into full-blown hatred so they can exploit those emotions and advance their cause.  The one thing we must all remember is, their cause is ALMOST NEVER our cause or the best good for the Republic.  Their cause is to solidify their power, advance globalism, and enrich themselves financially and politically.  Neither are good for WE THE PEOPLE who voted for them expecting them to be our advocates in Washington.  The demagoguery in Washington regarding taxation is a particular case in point and illustrates my title statement.

The rhetoric and spin of today and virtually all bygone eras by liberal politicians and some so-called Republicans is that any TAX CUT is a “tax cut for the rich” as they argue the rich do not pay their “fair share.”  It does not take rocket science or exhaustive investigation to learn their diatribe is rooted in ideology rather than fact.  I’ve debated this many times before and every time I hear, “The rich are not paying their fair share” I laugh because it is better than getting angry or crying.

The latest information provided by the Internal Revenue Service regarding the payment of Income Taxes is interesting and not something politicians want you to know or even think about.  WHY?  Because if you truly examine the facts you will see their rhetoric for what it is, political gamesmanship.  The Top 1% of income earners, which is listed as those having an adjusted gross income of $480,930 per annum, pay 39% of ALL Federal Income Taxes.  That equates to 892,000 Americans footing the bill for 39% of all federal taxes.  If we look at the Top 10% or those who have an adjusted gross income of $138,031 per annum, pay 70.6% of ALL Federal Income Taxes. That means that 10% of the population pays over 70% of ALL the federal income taxes paid.  How is that for FAIR SHARING?  The same statistical data reveals that the bottom 50% of income earners, those who have an adjusted gross income of $39,275 or less pay 2.83% of ALL Federal Income Taxes.  We know that 37 MILLION tax filers pay ZERO in TAXES and the estimate is that 45.5% of households WILL PAY NOTHING in federal income taxes this year.

With that information, how can anyone reasonably argue that the rich and I would argue that $140,000 is a far cry from rich do not pay their fair share and those paying nothing are paying their fair share.  This is one of the major reasons I continually argue for a FLAT or FAIR Tax and believe that everyone should have skin in the game even if it is minimal.  The sad reality is that many who PAY NOTHING have ZERO concern about Big Spending and Big Government because it costs them nothing.  I wonder how many in that category view Tax Cuts as threats to their freebies rather than a genuine concern about fair share.

I laugh and cry when politicians talk about the COST of Tax Cuts and how they are going to PAY for Tax Cuts.  If we had a Zero-Based Budget rather than a Base Line Budget that would not be an issue.  However, our Base Line Budgeting system has a built-in increase in the federal budget every year and many of the increase is around 10%.  Therefore, when politicians say they are seeking a 5% budget cut they are saying they are only going to increase the budget by the remaining 5% rather than the full 10%.  That is not a cut it is an increase, as any Economics 101 student would tell you.  What they don’t tell you is that when Taxes are cut for those investing and creating jobs, more money flows to the lower end of the spectrum as well as the upper and middle sections creating more revenue and thereby more taxes.  Rather than costing to cut taxes it is beneficial for the federal coffers as well as American citizens who are working.  Of course, if you are entrenched in entitlements and are on the government dole rather than seeking gainful employment you are opposed to Tax Cuts because they threaten your bird nest on the ground.

Our nation’s corporate tax is a whopping 39.1% which is the 4th highest in the world.  The House has proposed it be reduced to 20% although some members of Congress argue for a 15% Corporate Tax Rate.  Corporations DO NOT pay taxes.  The “tax incident” as it is referred by economist levied on a corporation is passed on to consumers.  One of four responses or a combination of several takes place when corporations are taxed.  They raise the price of their goods or services, lower dividends, cut salaries or lay off workers.  Who bears the burden of the Corporate Tax?  You guessed it, WE DO.  Corporations are merely tax collecting entities for the federal government if you look at it realistically.

Don’t you love it when politicians insist they are not going to tax individuals but corporations?  If you understand that when they tax the corporation we are the ones who ultimately pay the freight, you know their argument is simply political chicanery, not the truth.  The tax code in America is more like an encyclopedia having more rules, regulations, and loopholes than any individual could ever know.  Americans spend upwards of $380 MILLION annually in tax-related accounting costs and in 2011, American spent more than 6 BILLION hours trying to comply with the Tax Codes.  That is ridiculous.

The Internal Revenue Services is a bureaucracy that needs to be dismantled from its present form and strip politicians of this political weapon.  This department is the vehicle for politicians to confiscate our earnings and redistribute them according to their political objective and agenda.  That is a situation we should not be willing to tolerate any longer.  HOW DO WE FIX THIS?  We cannot REFORM the Tax Code or REFORM the Establishment, Corrupt, Deep State Politicians we must REMOVE THEM from office and REPLACE THEM with those who understand they are Citizen Representatives and amenable to We the People and subject to the Constitution.  Anything less will only kick the can down the road and I’m done with can kicking.  I will work to see a CLEAN SWEEP of Establishment Politicians in both parties in 2018 and 2020.  That, in my view, is our only hope of salvaging the Republic and restoring her to the Constitutional Status our Framers and Founders envisioned and established.

GEORGE SOROS’ WAR ON AMERICA…


BLOG POST 4 - Soros War

It is more than simply a war on America it is a war on any Democratic Republic.  He is and has been at war on the ideals of our Constitutional Republic.  He is a globalist billionaire who, I suspect, knows the end of his time on earth draws near and he wants to do as much damage to the Freedom and Liberty America stands for as possible.  I saw a recent report that he has transferred the lion’s share of his vast resources (almost $18 Billion) to his Open Society Foundations to wage his war.  His networks advance the cause of globalism and big government as well as supporting abortion on demand, stirring up racial hatred, enlisting radical anti-American politicians, pressing for nationalized police, Islamic migration, open borders, and dumped a significant amount into the Hillary Clinton coffers and the anti-Trump activist.  HE HATES AMERICA and MUCH OF THE WORLD, especially if it is Free or seeks to be.  His move has been labeled a move to advance his vision of a “New World Order” and it appears that the murderous Communist Chinese regime will likely own or control.  How’s that for something to be concerned about?

His open disdain for the American Constitution, gun rights, the unborn in the womb, Christianity, morality, national sovereignty, self-government, and conservatism all find themselves in the crosshairs of his entities and activist organizations.  Never doubt that Soros has “hands-on” involvement with his foundation so it is not like he is turning the billions over to someone else to manage.  NO, because he is funneling it into the coffers of those entities he controls for his War on America and the Free World.  Some, who are in the know, has stated, “There is no foundation in the world, including the Ford Foundation, that has had more impact around the world than the Open Society Foundations in the past couple of decades.”  They are involved in virtually every part of the world.

Some have declared the Soros, is the Anti-Christ, but some of those have offered dozens of other names as the man of sin.  I emphatically say I do not believe that he is.  However, I do believe he is “anti-Christ” and “anti-Christian” as well as being “anti-individual liberty” in his worldview.  He is a chief player in the “Social Justice” push and “Identity Politics” that is prevalent today in America and much of the world.  His Foundation is a major propaganda organization seeking to advance the ideology and cause of “Globalism” and “Big Government.”  He is a poser when it comes to being a “philanthropist” because he has spent most of his money funding organizations in about 100 countries advancing the anti-freedom, anti-life, anti-Christian, and anti-America agenda.  He has bankrolled incredibly bloody revolutions and terrorist organizations in his pursuit of destroying everything that nations such as America and Israel stand for.

This diabolical individual has openly declared that he has no feelings of guilt or remorse for his role in helping National Socialist (Nazis) steal Jewish property as a youngster.  Yet, the Leftist organizations such as BLM, Occupy Wall Street, Refuse Fascism, Move On, and many other groups gladly take his money and attack everything President Trump has promoted and everything that Conservatives desire calling us NAZIS.  Imagine that!  They take money from a Nazis to fight those they accuse of being a Nazis.  Logical, right?  His organizations have targeted Orthodox ministers convincing them with money, threats, and bribes to agree with the move to surrender national sovereignty and oppose self-government.  If you wonder why much of the Church has been silent in the face of all the unrest, this might give you a clue.

His money has found its way into the coffers of Planned Parenthood, Black Lives Matter, Occupy Wall Street, and entities that are seeking to nationalize local and state police departments placing them under the control of Leftist Globalist bodies.  He dumped millions into the campaigns of both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.  His footprints are seen in Syria, Libya, and the Ukraine to name a few countries feeling his influence.  He has been at the forefront of advancing the Islamic immigration in Europe for years and everyone should be able to see the results of that.  I must remind everyone that in 2009 he made a public cry for the communist regime in mainland China to OWN the New World Order.  In 2010, he reiterated that plea and the worldwide push that includes politicians within our own government for a New World Order is growing at a dangerous pace.  He is the recipient of the “Globalist of the Year” award received from the Canadian International Council.  He deems himself a “god” and has stated as much.

He has, according to documented reports, violated dozens of federal and state laws in his push to advance his Globalist Communist, Socialist, Marxist Cause but it seems no one in our government has the slightest interest in pursuing him.  WHY?  Because there are too many on the Left and Right whose coffers have been expanded by Soros or some entity connected to him.  I agree with William F. Jasper of “The New American” magazine, “It is our contention that the prima facie evidence of criminal activity by George Soros and those he funds is sufficient to demand official investigations – by Congress, the U.S. Department of Justice, and state attorneys general.”  Every American that loves Freedom and Liberty should be concerned and should press their elected officials to INVESTIGATE George Soros, his foundations, and organizations as well as Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch and many others.

ARE POLITICIANS CRAZY or IS THIS SIMPLY A GUN GRAB???


BLOG POST 3 - Trust Me

 

News Flash, Republicans, you are demonstrating the very reason that Steve Bannon’s efforts to “wage war” against the Establishment Republicans have a foundation for success.  After the Las Vegas shooting some Republicans feel compelled to join the effort to enact more “gun control”.  The question I have for those Republicans co-sponsoring a bill supposedly to ban “bump stocks” but in fact opens the door to banning all semi-automatic firearms is, “Are you crazy or is the simply a gun grab?”  If they are that lacking in the arena of mental capability we are in trouble and if they are part of a diabolical scheme to grab our guns and destroy our 2nd Amendment rights we are in trouble?  Either way, it is a bad day in Black Rock for Americans who believe in the inalienable right of self-defense and the right to “keep and bear arms.”

I could not believe what I was reading when I read the details of this proposed piece of legislation being pitched as a bipartisan “bump stock ban.”  This bill was drafted by Florida Republican, Carlos Curbelo and it NEVER mentions “bump stocks” by name.  Rather than attempting to BAN a particular item that has been in the forefront of the discussion it seeks to BAN any person from “possessing” or “making” any part that could be used to increase the rate of fire in any semi-automatic rifle.  Sadly, this is being touted by a former Marine, Representative Seth Moulton, a Massachusetts Democrat, but he is a Democrat.

The bill reads: “It shall be unlawful for any person … to manufacture, possess, or transfer any part or combination of parts that are designed to increase the rate of fire of a semi-automatic rifle.”   Let that sink in for a moment and realize that at no point does this legislation specify a “base rate of fire” that would be required for any increases to be legally judged.  That is a significant error in wording UNLESS it is by design and the plan is to open the door to BANNING all semi-automatic rifles.  This legislation, if passed and signed into law would allow the institution of a federal ban on “any” and “all” parts that would allow the gun to fire at all.  By simple definition, the ability to fire a semi-automatic weapon increases its rate of fire from zero to whatever the shooter can manage.

The design of semi-automatic weapons uses the recoil of the firearm generated by the gas explosion in the chamber when a round is fired to automatically chamber a new round, and prepare the weapon to be fired again.  Therefore, any parts used in this process would be subject to a federal ban.  The gas tubes, gas blocks, buffer springs, magazines, changing handles, ejectors, extractors, and even the triggers themselves could be banned under this bipartisan legislation that is supposedly only targeting the “bump stock.”  I have long questioned the rational reason of politicians but I don’t think they are that stupid and therefore I suspect this is by design to provide an open door for “gun control” and ultimately a “gun ban” on selected types of firearms.  How many of you would love to have a “triggerless” rifle?  It looks imposing but you can’t fire it and it would be an incredibly expensive club.  Legislate us back to the stone ages Congress, that’s what we elected you to do!  (I hope you caught my sarcasm…)

The Left never ceases to look for opportunities to diminish our 2nd Amendment Rights and too many of the Republicans are joining that fight.  The Constitution does not limit the number of firearms a citizen can own and should not.  The issue is not the number of firearms but the purpose of those weapons.  The Constitution does not limit our firearms to 1776 muskets as some would suggest but provided for us to “keep and bear arms.”  The citizens of that era possessed the same weapons as the militia and standing army in their small arms.  I am not arguing for everyone to own a fully automatic machine gun but a semi-automatic is and should be legal and the argument that rifles should have not more than six bullets is ludicrous.  We are not talking about the right to hunt we are talking about the right to “keep and bear arms” and that focuses on “self-defense”.  I like what one former soldier said when asked about high capacity magazines.  He said, “How many bullets do you need in a fire-fight?”  Then answered his own question saying, “One more than the bad guy.”  If you face a situation where you must defend yourself, your family, and possessions any reasonable person would want as many bullets as were necessary to be the last man or woman standing.  I’m sure you would not be asking, “Do I really need more than six bullets?”  No, you are wondering where the police are and hoping you have enough firepower to survive UNTIL help arrives or until the situation has concluded.

Republicans, if you sponsor this type of legislation I can only conclude that you are “anti-gun” and want to repeal or destroy our 2nd Amendment Rights.  I will, at that point, place you on my DO NOT REELECT list and work to see you allowed to go back home and find gainful employment and hopefully employment that will not allow you to infringe upon the rights of others.  Republicans, if you insist on being a Democrat then change your party affiliation and stop claiming to be interested in and a defender of the Constitution.  WE MUST NEVER allow Congress or any politician to take away our inalienable right of self-defense and must protect the 2nd Amendment.

THE DEEP STATE and All Its Tributaries are Corrupt…


BLOG POST 2 - Deep State

That statement should be obvious to anyone who still has the power of cognitive thought and needs no further response.  However, I ask that you allow me to address a couple of revelations that expose it and should demand a Special Prosecutor but won’t.  James Comey, Hillary Clinton, and the FBI have been exposed as deeply partisan and the violations of ethical law enforcement and the commission of crimes in this cannot or should not be avoided.  With the revelations that I will cite and the myriad of other evidence, how is Mr. Muller still seeking to charge the President with Obstruction of Justice in firing James Comey?  How is the investigation managing to have new life infused into it to the point that it has become a larger than life endeavor to unearth something, anything, real or fabricated to use against this administration?  HOW?  The Democrats and the Establishment Republicans are in collusion.  Yes, I used the “C” word with regard to politicians in Washington, DC.

We have documented evidence that James Comey drafted a statement on the Clinton probe MONTHS before the investigation ended and before the FBI interviewed Hillary Clinton.  Documents released by the FBI under the Freedom of Information Act reveal there is a file entitled, “Drafts of Director Comey’s July 5, 2016, Statement Regarding Email Server Investigation.”  Why is that file important?  It contains an email that Comey sent on May 2, 2016, to several FBI officials regarding the Clinton email probe, which was referred to internally by the codename “Midyear Exam.”  This is an example of conclusion first and investigation later, which is what is happening with Robert Muller and his investigation.  I guess that is a longstanding FBI mode of operation, at least with Comey and Muller.  That is tragic.

Comey announced on July 5, 2016 – three days after FBI investigators finally interviewed Hillary Clinton, that he would not be recommending charges against her for mishandling classified information on her private email system.  On May 16, 2016, Comey’s chief of staff, James Rybicki, forwarded Comey’s draft to other FBI officials asking for any comments.  He said, “Please send me any comments on this statement so we may roll into a master doc for discussion with the Director at a future date.”  Comey had decided months in advance of the conclusion of the investigation there would be no charges against Hillary.  My question is, “Why bother investigating if you already know the outcome or determined what you plan to do?”  It was a dog and pony show, not a true investigation.  Likewise, the Muller investigation of the President is not a genuine investigation seeking truth because if it were Comey, Hillary, and Loretta Lynch would be in the cross-hairs and they are not.  I won’t call it a witch hunt but it is most assuredly a fishing expedition as they hope against hope they can find or fabricate something.  It does not have to be factual or proven for those opposing Donald Trump to accept, parrot, and press forward with.

Let me add something else concerning Hillary and the FBI Director that lends credibility to my argument of Corruption and Collusion.  The FBI, we have discovered sat on evidence that tied the Clintons to a Russian bribery scheme.  Why is this not front-page news?  Why is this not a topic of conversation in Congress?  Why is the DOJ not involved in this?  It appears that the FBI buried evidence that connected the Clinton Foundation with a Russian bribery scheme during the time Obama was deciding whether or not to give Moscow control over U.S. uranium reserves?  Why they would even consider this is beyond belief, but they were.  The FBI collected evidence that as early as 2009 the Russians were laying the foundation for this endeavor.  That assertion is backed by “eyewitness accounts and documents” indicating Russian officials routed millions to the Clinton Foundation during the time Hillary was Secretary of State.  Nothing to see there, right? 

The Russians were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion, and more and during the time of the merger with Russian gaining control of 20% of our uranium reserves the chairman of Uranium One donated $2.35 MILLION to the Clinton Foundation.  Bill Clinton also received $500,000 for a speech he gave in Moscow shortly after the Rosatom announced plans to take control of the Canadian mining company.  Vadim Mikerin, the chief Russian overseer of Putin’s nuclear expansion inside the United States was sentenced to 48 months in prison and fined $2.1 million in 2015, but the DOJ’s release on the court case OMITTED any evidence about “Russian nuclear officials trying to ingratiate themselves with the Clintons” although there is evidence they did so.

The Clintons the Obamas and so many politicians are deeply corrupt and have engaged in activities that border on treason if they do not come to that full level.  Yet, the Democrats in collusion with the Establishment Republicans, the Obama DOJ, and the Obama FBI were like the three monkeys, “See no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil” with regard to the Clintons.  After all, Hillary was the designated heir apparent to the Presidential Crown and those dastardly voters opted to deny her that lofty perch.  How dare the “deplorables?”  How dare anyone not realize that Hillary was NEXT IN LINE.  How dare WE THE PEOPLE opt to express our dissatisfaction with the collusion and corruption of the Deep State and take a different path?  NO, I am not saying that President Trump is right on everything or will be right on everything, but when I contrast the possibilities with him as president and Hillary I sigh in relief and thank God Hillary is not the president.

The Director of the FBI, James Comey needed to be fired and probably should have been fired on Day One of President Trumps administration. The Democrats wanted him gone UNTIL Trump dismissed him and now they are using his long-time friend Robert Muller to find some way to rid themselves of their thorn in the flesh, Donald J. Trump.  The wall is not built not because the President does not want it but because Congress won’t allow the funding for it.  Hillary is not in jail because there has been collusion and corruption in the FBI, the DOJ, and Congress.  We have not gotten rid of Obamacare because the Republicans and Democrats continue to play footsies and shaft America in their defense of the Deep State, the Swamp, and their status quo.

What do we do?  WE PRIMARY AS MANY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT POLITICIANS AS POSSIBLE.  We inform as many people as possible.  We work to elect constitutional conservatives.  We fall on our faces and pray!

I WOULD LAUGH IF IT WERE NOT SO SERIOUS…


BLOG POST 1 - Laugh or Cry

Politics today would be a laughing matter if it were not so serious and the danger being imposed on this nation so catastrophic.  I have so many thoughts in my head I don’t know where to begin.  Do I begin with the Establishment Republicans and their insanity and determination to derail anything that President Trump or what the genuinely conservative element of the party seeks to do and has promised to do?  Do I begin with the Late-Night Comedians or Moral Guides as they seem to think of themselves?  Do I begin with the Democrats and their dogged determination to destroy this President and America in the process?  Do I begin with Hollywood and the double standard and hypocrisy?  Do I begin with the NFL and others in the world of athletics?  Do I begin with the Protest Groups such as ANTIFA, BLM, Refuse Fascism, Moveon.org, and a myriad of others?  Do I begin with the FBI, the Obama DOJ, and the blatantly partisan activities therein?  WHERE DO I BEGIN?  Those are not an exhaustive list but sufficient to produce an article a day for the next twelve months.  But, I resist that temptation and hope that I can say something that will resonate with enough people to move the needle toward DEEP STATE Dismantling and SWAMP Draining.

When the President and Mitch McConnell joined in an effort to demonstrate unity in the Republican Party all was well UNTIL McConnell spoke.  The truth was exposed quickly as McConnell sought to solidify the Establishment and trash any Tea Party or Conservative efforts to unseat Establishment Republicans.  He attempted to claim responsibility for the Republican’s gaining control of the House and later the Senate.  Imagine that?  He and the Establishment did not work their magic to bring that about, the Tea Party and other Constitutional Conservative efforts did.  The dissatisfaction of the voting public with the status quo and the disgust with politics, as usual, the Swamp, and the Deep State turned enough stomachs that the voters gave the GOP control of both houses.  McConnell and the Establishment Republicans are squandering that gift and will likely be rewarded with a back seat in the near future if this continues.  That seems to be the handwriting on the wall UNLESS we oust enough of them to place the reins of government in the hands of truly Constitutional Conservatives?  WILL WE DO THAT?  A question that is larger than the egos of the Washington political swamp.

When Late Night Comedians such as Jimmy Kimmel can ignore the scandal of Harvey Weinstein and justify their silence by saying, “I’m not the moral conscience of the nation.”  Really?  I thought that was exactly what you were trying to be with your rants on Obamacare, Gun Control, President Trump, etc.  You were imposing your worldview on the rest of us and your suggestion if not outright declaration was that those of us who do not agree with your ideological position is immoral, unethical, uncaring, unfeeling, and reprehensible is an attempt to be the Moral Voice and Conscience for the nation.  Why is the Liberal Leftist Democrat Donor different?  Wait, I answered the question with the question.  It is because he is a Liberal Leftist Democrat Donor, therefore, he is off limits because he is part of the sect and tribe.  You never attack fellow members of the tribe.

The protests by the world of athletics which began as a protest against America and the police is now being proclaimed as not being disrespectful to the flag, the nation, or the police.  Seriously?  If you were concerned about conditions for blacks why has there been total silence about the incredibly high rate of abortion among blacks and the high rate of homicides against blacks by other blacks?  If you cared about the plight of the black community in the inner cities why have you not protested the Democrat and often Black Leadership in those cities where they suffer the most?  Why criticize the Vice President for leaving a game where members of the teams acted in disrespect for the flag and the nation?  Why accuse him of a publicity stunt and bringing politics into an NFL game?  Are you not doing exactly that as you seize an opportunity to do what you do in front of a camera and millions of people?  Sorry, it is only wrong to protest if you are not in harmony with the Leftist Protests.

When members of the All Woman – All Leftist show argues that we must not go after the comedians because they are important is that not the height of hypocrisy?  I thought everyone was important but I guess only those who are in front of the camera with an audience and platform that can drive the leftist agenda are important.  I don’t know about you, but that tells me that, in their view, I am not only unimportant but unnecessary.  After all, Jimmy Kimmel said that he did not care if those who disagree with him cease watching and he would not want to have a conversation with them anyway.  I wonder what those who count the beans in his network think about the loss of viewers, ratings, and sponsors?  I’m sure that their official statement will be, “We agree” but behind the scenes, they are panicking and trying to do damage control.

America, we are a very troubled nation on multiple fronts and the storm clouds are not giving way to sunshine.  The anger being generated is about to boil over and people on all sides of the issues are rapidly heading toward an impasse that can only lead to anarchy and violence in a catastrophically destructive manner.  I have only scratched the surface on things I see that are destroying the foundations and fabric of this republic.  I would love to laugh it off and say, “this too will pass” but I’m not convinced it is going to pass.  I would love to say, “That’s just politics and people exercising the right to be stupid” but I am convinced it goes much deeper than that.  Our moral moorings have been severed in some areas and whether you are religious or not, surely you see the dangers of the direction we are headed in the continual divisiveness and refusal to look for any common ground.  This is not a one-way street and will require those on both sides to seek the best good of the Republic and demonstrate a willingness to work together for that good.

THE TEETERING REPUBLIC – What Must We Do???


BLOG POST 4 - On the Brink

Many do not agree with my assertion that our Republic is “Teetering on the Brink of Destruction” and I can appreciate that.  I do not want to be a “fear monger” and succumb to the many “conspiracy theories” that run rampant in our modern society.  However, I see some things that scream DANGER and the very declaration of the organizers of the protests of the Left should give us great concern.

The U.S. Code, Title 18, Part I, Chapter 115, Section 2384 deals with “Seditious Conspiracy”.  “If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.”  Then in Section 2385, it deals with “Advocating Overthrow of Government.”  Due to the length of this section I will not give it in full but I must ask, “When the organizers of groups such as ANTIFA and REFUSE FASCISM, BLM, and others express as their objective to OVERTHROW the current administration and replace it with something of their liking does that not fall under both sections of the U.S. Code?”  YES, it does! 

Before you challenge me and argue FREEDOM OF SPEECH I must ask, “If your Freedom of Speech threatens our government, individual citizens, and incites violence is that acceptable, speech under the Constitution?”  I am fully supportive of everyone’s right to SPEAK and express their views but when that speech is Seditious and Advocates the overthrow of our government it is no longer a right but a crime.  That is exactly what is happening with many of the groups today and is becoming prevalent among those of their ideological persuasion.  When groups that are rooted in Racism and elevate one race above others can call for the extermination of those, not like them, that is not Free Speech but a Crime.  It should not be tolerated by Democrats or Republicans, liberals or conservatives, but it is.  Those on the Left are embracing and encouraging the protests and activities of those protesting and many on the Right are cowering in the shadows afraid to condemn the actions fearing being negatively labeled and possibly suffering at the ballot box.  That suggests that our Republic is teetering on the edge of the precipice of oblivion and should be a warning to all who love liberty and freedom.

We have a system of government and a method of electing the President that has served us well for over 200 years.  That system has helped us remain a Constitutional Republic and if it is destroyed will plunge us into anarchy and the ultimate destruction of our cherished Freedom and Liberty in America.  I cannot believe that anyone truly desires that, but many seem to believe the lie that our system is inherently evil and must be transformed into a more socialist system thinking that will produce the desired Utopia.  IT WILL NOT!  It will mean our doom as a Free Republic and open the door for the tyranny of the highest order and the enslavement (literally and figuratively) of the citizens.  I feel compelled to sound the alarm and if no one heeds the warning I will continue to pray for my nation, attempt to expose the dangers and work to preserve the Republic.  I hope my voice and others SOUNDING THE ALARM will be heard and will resonate with enough that we win this war.

The REFUSE FASCISM GROUP is organizing and planning an Occupy Wall Street/ANFIFA type of protest to begin on November 4, 2017.  They are funded by leftist organizations and people such as George Soros and their expressed purpose is to TAKE DOWN the Trump/Pence Administration and remove them from office.  That is subversive not simply a protest and fits the legal definition of “Seditious Conspiracy” and is advocating the overthrow of the government.  Where is the FBI and the DOJ?  This group does not have to achieve their goal for this to be a crime only express it and then organize to bring it about.  This they have and are doing, and that makes them Criminals.  They are not protected by the 1st Amendment in that condition and position.  They have what they call “Seven Indictments of the Trump/Pence Regime” which focuses on things such as Muslims, Civil liberties, people of the world, women and LGBTQ people, white supremacy, police brutality, mass incarceration, the environment, and immigrants (illegals).  They have declared in their advertising and paraphernalia these indictments serve three major functions.  They are to be used to Educate about what they call the fascism of the present administration and the complicity of the federal government to allow the President to continue.  They are to be used to Protest and call for disruption of our government and way of life hoping to enlist support and sympathy and bring about the ouster of the President and his entire administration.  They are to be used to Organize and state that “driving out a fascist regime will require a lot of organization.”  They call on their followers to spread this information everywhere to students, teachers, friends, family, co-workers, places of worship, professional organization, on social media, and beyond.  Organize to overthrow the government is their stated objective. That is justification for indictment and not protected Freedom of Speech.

If we allow this type of activity to continue and if they somehow succeed or even disrupt and damage our economy we will have allowed the Republic’s foundation to be so severely damaged we will not survive.  Many of us were distraught when Barack Obama won the presidency not once but twice but there was not the protest in the streets, the disruption of commerce, and the damage to life and property we see today.  Most of us who were opposed to Barack Obama, not because of ethnicity but ideology and policy, honored the constitution and our system enough that we worked, prayed, and sought to change the direction of the nation at the ballot box and by influencing our elected officials NOT THROUGH SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR.

I ask that you pay attention to what is being planned for November 4, 2017, and the declaration that they will not protest and then go home but will Occupy UNTIL they get what they want.  What is different about that than hostage taking, terrorism, and subversion?  It is all of those and is utterly opposite of the vision and provisions of our Constitution.  Everyone has the right to peaceably assemble and to voice distaste for and opposition to any politician or direction of government.  However, no one has the right, without facing the penalty of law, to organize, incite riots and violence, and seek to overthrow the government or any administration.  Impeachment and elections are the constitutional provisions for removing a president from office, not sedition.  If you are unhappy with President Trump offer an alternative for the 2020 election DO NOT seek to destroy our system.  If we allow any process other than those two to achieve the objective of overthrowing any duly elected president we facilitate the destruction of the Republic.  I WILL NOT SILENTLY ALLOW THAT and I hope you will join me in standing for America and in defense of our Constitution and System of Government and Elections.  To do otherwise is to facilitate the destruction of our Republic.  I would think that even people who do not like President Trump would be opposed to the destruction of our System of Government and Republic.

AMERICA, I WEEP FOR YOU…


BLOG POST 3- Weeping

Before you attempt to castigate me for that statement and attack my personal view and beliefs, let me ask, “Do you not see a deterioration in moral fabric in this beloved nation?”  If you do not, then what I have to say will be like fingernails on a chalkboard to you and I suggest you stop reading now UNLESS you are willing to consider views other than your own.  If you do see the deterioration and are willing to consider other views, I invite you to hear what I have to express and if it resonates you can take the appropriate action but if it doesn’t you can dismiss it.  It is entirely your decision.

I am weeping for my nation because of the hate, the divisiveness, the hypocrisy, and the departure from any reasoned attempts at discussing the problems facing us today.  Rudyard Kipling’s Poem “The Ballad of East and West” contains the infamous line that could be modified and appropriately describe the division between segments of our society.  Kipling wrote, “East is East, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet…”  I suggest that we could adapt that and correctly say, “Right is Right and Left is Left and never the twain shall meet…” or “Liberalism is Liberalism and Conservativism is Conservatism and never the twain shall meet…”  I would not say, “Democrats are Democrats and Republicans are Republicans and never the twain shall meet” because in the Establishment of both Parties they do meet and are often unified in their ideological belief in Big Government.

There are those who seek to create such a division between ethnicities that the only likely conclusion is bloodshed and that causes me to weep.  There are those who want to “fundamentally transform America” from being the Constitutional Republic our Framers and Founders hammered out and that makes me weep.  There are those who seek to so blur the lines of distinction between male and female that there we become a genderless society, and that makes me weep.  There are those who seek to instill such political correctness in America that only the views, ideologies, and agendas of the Liberal Leftist are acceptable and mandate by law that all comply, and that makes me weep.  There are those who feel justified in trashing, vilifying, and attacking any view, not in harmony with their own, and that makes me weep.  There are those who seek to eliminate God and anything from the Bible from society, destroy the traditional family and make morality and ethics an antiquated adventure, and that makes me weep.  There are those who seek to destroy our national sovereignty and make America a borderless nation where constitutional citizenship is meaningless and thereby rob us of our nationality, and that makes me weep.  There are those who would infringe upon our inalienable rights and impose on everyone their narrow views politically, morally, ethically, and societally, and that makes me weep.

In the midst the ever-expanding revelation of the apparent moral atrocities of Harvey Weinstein, Saturday Night Live failed to skewer him as they have the President and others.  That was a bit curious but is reflective of a condition in America that is cause for weeping and concern.  They had gone after Bill Cosby, Bill Clinton, Bill O’Reilly, Roger Ailes, Anthony Weiner, Donald Trump, and others but not one peep about Weinstein.  WHY?  When Lorne Michaels the creator of the show was asked about that, his response was revealing and hypocritical.  He said, “it’s a New York thing” because Weinstein is apparently from New York.  Seriously?  Could I ask, “Where is President Trump from?”  I do believe it is New York so why give Harvey Weinstein a pass and skewer the President at every opportunity?  It stems from the view that only the view of the Liberal Left is acceptable and anything and everything is excusable if committed by a Democrat or Leftist.

The co-hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che demonstrated further cause for weeping at the divisiveness, hypocrisy, and moral deficiency existing in this nation.  They also highlighted the lack of rational reason and used their show to promote “gun control” in a supposititious manner.  They were highly disturbed the Stephen Paddock owned 47 guns and I contend the number of guns is not the problem but the intent and purpose he had for those guns.  Jost in a clearly self-righteous manner said, “No one should own 47 of anything!”  He continued his diatribe saying, “If you own 47 cats you are not a responsible cat owner, you are a crazy cat lady.  And unlike with guns, the government will actually come and take you cats away because everyone agrees that’s insane.”  Do you see his inference?  According to Mr. Jost, if we don’t want the government to take away our guns he deems us insane.  His co-host chimed in saying that someone needs to tell the gun-owing “snowflakes” they can’t buy firearms in excess.  We are the snowflakes?  I laughed at the idiocy of that statement.  He then went on a rant saying, “I mean, why is it so hard to get gun control in this country?  I mean, who are these delicate snowflakes that we can’t just tell, ‘No, you’re not allowed to have 40 guns anymore, Earl.”  He then suggested a gun buyback program and inferred that gun owners were men with undersized male genitalia.  The vulgarity of these self-proclaimed experts on what is best for society is disgusting and reveals a problem in this nation concerning our moral fabric and our drift in our moral moorings.

I weep for America because there are professors in college classrooms telling their students that the problems existing today are caused by white men, conservatives, Christians, and guns.  They provide encouragement and even incitement of violence against that which they do not agree with, and that is cause for weeping.  I weep for America that the former first lady could seriously tell her followers that blacks do not trust the Republican Party because it is “white men” and that any woman that did not vote for Hillary did not like her own voice.  That is sexist and racist and is a cause for concern because it fans the flames of hate that have been growing in an ever-increasing manner over the past eight years.

I weep for America because, in my view, we have drifted from our moral and spiritual moorings and become so self-centered and suffer from such a sense of entitlement many believe they are owed what they do not have and violence is an acceptable means of acquiring it.  Our Founders and Framers possibly never envisioned a time in which there would be such a deterioration of our founding principles we would disintegrate as a Republic.  However, I am convinced they saw it, repeatedly warned against it, and made provision whereby we could avoid it.  I weep because we have not listened and have allowed a morally and ethically deficient mindset to become prevalent.

You may totally disagree with me and that is your right and choice.  My views are admittedly formed from my religious and conservative beliefs.  I long for us to become, once again, that nation where the inalienable rights of all mankind are honored.  We can be that great nation that has been a beacon for the world if we are willing to do what is necessary to return and embrace those principles that made America the America that earned the respect of the world.  The America that was the envy of the world.

IS AMERICA a CHRISTIAN NATION???


BLOG POST 2 - Christian Nation

Some would say, “I hope not,” and others will say “I hope so.”  Over the past few decades, there have been subtle and not so subtle assaults on the Christian values and principles that were evident in our nation’s founding and have been present since.  Like most erosions, there has been a slow removal of various Christian identifiers in our public spectrum and there has been an evolution in some churches which has resulted in a decline in the number of Americans identifying as Christian.  Those who have argued vehemently that there must be a TOTAL SEPARATION of Church and State to the point that nothing of Christianity can be seen in any public building or activity are growing in number.  Yet, over 70% of Americans profess to be Christian.  I somehow wonder about that percentage with the present condition of our world and the political correctness that is running amok.

There was a recent survey that supposedly interviewed or questioned over 100,000 people and the result was interesting and disturbing at the same time.  The number of Americans who, as the survey reported, identify as white and Christian is less than 50%.  This survey was conducted by the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) and they reported that forty years ago, 8 out of 10 Americans were white Christians and now those identifying as white Christians make up only about 17% of the population compared to 23% just 10 years earlier.  There are many possible reasons for this decline and one of them is assuredly the influx of non-white immigrants, legal and illegal now residing in America.  Most mainline denominations have lost membership in recent years and the Southern Baptist Convention, the largest Protestant group in America lost over 15 MILLION members last year, according to Chuck Kelley, president of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

One-third of Republicans say they are white evangelicals, and nearly three-quarters identify as white Christians.  If you compare that to the Democrat Party, you find that white Christians are a significant minority shrinking from 47% ten years ago, to only 29% in 2016.  Over 40% of Democrats declare they have no religious affiliation.  That should come as no surprise in a Political Party that booed God and voted Him out of their National Convention.  In American Catholics, 55% identify as white, compared to 87% 25 years ago, and in the last 10 years the white Catholic population in the United States has dropped from 16% to 11% and white mainline Protestants declined from 18% to 13% of all Americans.

Frankly, the effort to identify the percentage of white Christians is somewhat disturbing because Christianity knows no skin color or ethnicity.  I am far more concerned about the percentage of people in America and the world who are Christians than I am about percentages in any ethnicity.  I attribute many if not most of our societal problems to the decline in our moral moorings and am concerned about my America.  I pray that we are still a Christian nation and will return to our first love.  You may disagree with that and it is your right and privilege but it is my prayer and hope.

I could offer many quotes from our Framers and Founding Fathers regarding their view of the importance of God and the Bible in America but I will restrict it to the Inaugural address of our 1st President, George Washington.  President Washington said, “I dwell on this prospect with every satisfaction which an ardent love for my Country can inspire: since there is no truth more thoroughly established, than that there exists in the economy and course of nature, an indissoluble union between virtue and happiness, between duty and advantage, between the genuine maxims of an honest and magnanimous policy, and the solid rewards of public prosperity and felicity: Since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven, can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained: And since the preservation of the sacred fire of liberty, and the destiny of the Republican model of Government, are justly considered as deeply, perhaps as finally staked, on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people.”  Our founders understood and believed that God’s hand was in the formation and founding of this nation and we had a daunting responsibility to both God and man to be a nation guided by divine principles and offer a moral mooring and hope to the world.

In Leviticus 26, God instructed Moses concerning obedience and in verses 1-13, He gave a promise of His blessing and defense of the nation if they people would honor Him and walk in His precepts.  Then in verses 14 forward, He identifies the problems that will be on the nation and people that reject Him.  If America rejects God and the principles of the Bible, as we have allowed our elected officials to do at the urging of the leftist, liberal, anti-God segment of our society we will suffer.  We are suffering some of the problems identified in Leviticus 26 and missing some of the blessings of protection and provision promised for obedience.

You may reject my Christian argument and that is your choice.  I am unashamedly a Christian, an American, a patriot, and a citizen of this great nation.  I have watched her decline in my few decades on the planet and am now engaged as fervently and actively as I can to see the trend stopped of drifting away from our Christian heritage and a return to those principles and precepts that made this nation, arguably, the greatest nation on Earth.  I wish that all would accept Jesus Christ as their savior.  I staunchly defend and embrace the Constitution and the ideals presented in it and our Declaration of Independence.  I truly believe that all men are created equal in the sense they all have the right to “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”  I want Liberty and Justice for all without regard to their ethnicity, skin color, political, or religious ideology and beliefs.  I stand firmly in favor of our inalienable rights and those affirmed in the Constitution and Bill of Rights.  I am Pro-America and want to see America return to her status of Greatness that is a beacon of hope for the world.  That is why I am vocal and prayerful about matters political and will work diligently to remove from office every politician who does not firmly stand for the Constitution as it was written and intended.

WHEN DID WE BEING LOSING THE CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC IN AMERICA???


BLOG POST 3 - WILSON YEARS

I acknowledge that this will not be an exhaustive explanation or clarification but I can and will point to a time in American politics when our country made a sharp left turn away from the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.  There was a clear point in American politics when the Progressives, the anti-Constitutionalist, and New World Order gained significant inroads and the aftermath of that has been and will continue to be detrimental to the Freedom defined in the Constitution.  It was, in my view, a clear point when we began to lose our Republic.

The slow erosion since that point in time, and over the past eight years the rapid erosion must be addressed by all Constitutional minded patriots and lovers of our Republican Democracy.  If we continue to allow politicians to erode our liberties and rewrite or reinterpret our Constitution, we will pay the high price of tyranny.  I realize that saying, we are guilty of complicity in our apathy and silence will not be well received by some but think about it.  Does not our Constitution place the burden of oversight in our hands?  Are we not supposed to be the owners and overseers of our government?  How did we evolve to the place that we are simply the sheep and the politicians the shepherds?  How did we reach the place that Congress, the President, and the Courts gained supreme authority and our voices effectively silenced?  How and Why did we allow this to transpire?  Questions that each of us must answer within our own hearts and then express our answers at the polls.

I suggest that the decline of America as the Constitutional Republic designed and desired by the Framers and Founders began in 1913 with the election of Woodrow Wilson.  He and his cohorts, as did Barack Obama, quickly took steps to shred the Constitution and advance their particular brand of politics and ideology in America.  Many would argue that Wilson frequently showed bad judgment and his disasters on the international front are among the most prolific examples of his badness for America.  However, Wilson and his cronies selected their targets adeptly and began a systematic attack on the principles of our Founding Fathers and the Framers of our American Constitution.  His policies and actions opened the door for FDR, LBJ, and BHO to easily enact their agendas and further damage the Republic.

The election of Wilson in 1913 brought about the 16th and 17th Amendments to the American Constitution.  We saw the implementation of the Federal Reserve and the flourishing of the Progressive Movement and Era, an era we are still burdened with and labor under.  He broke the pact that the Framers made with the American people and opened the door to a federal government bureaucracy and power that significantly diminished our Freedoms and Liberties.  If one reads the pact that the Framers gave to the American people found in the writings of James Madison in Federalist 45 you can see the truth.  “The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined.  Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite.  The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce[.] … The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State.”

In saying what they ratified is not what we now have, there should be no argument.  The federal government of 2017 is only remotely similar to that described and defined in the Constitution.  Woodrow Wilson, in my view, was a significant starting point in our demise.  Some disagree with me but I contend that the 17th Amendment was and has been incredibly detrimental to our Republic.  Electing Senators by popular vote rather than making them subject to the State Legislature allows them to become engaged in political cronyism and become far more self-serving than they could be if amenable to the State.  The Senators were, according to the Constitution, to represent the State from which they were elected, unlike the Representatives who were to represent their constituents within the District they served.  The purpose of serving the State is realized in the fact that each State regardless of population has two Senators.  They were to be a true check and insurance that the “few and defined” powers of the federal government did not usurp the Rights of the States.  That is only a fleeting memory today, thanks to Woodrow Wilson and the 17th Amendment.

The 16th Amendment introduced the Progressive Income Tax, which is one of the crowning jewels of the Progressive Movement.  This changed the federal government’s revenue base from tariffs, which are largely self-limiting and removed a basic limitation on the growth of the federal government.  In 1910 our federal revenue looked much like it did under President Washington, about 3% of GDP. The 16th Amendment threw open the doors to government expansion giving it, what seemed to be, unlimited revenue and allowing the political opportunist to bribe and buy what they wanted to ensure their continued place of power.  This allowed the federal government to run its tentacles into every facet of the lives of every American citizen.  It brought corruption to the federal government like few other things could or have.  It was a death knell to Limited Government and will continue to be UNLESS and UNTIL we repeal it.

I will deal with the Federal Reserve in a later article but it too has been a destructive force to our Constitutional Republicanism.  Instead of providing liquidity to sound banks during a panic, the FED has taken control of our currency which is an unconstitutional power over America’s wealth.  It is estimated that one 1910 dollar would be worth approximately $24.89 in 2017.  The saying, “sound as a dollar” would indicate anemia and elicit the call to 911 today.  The dollar is not sound and I trace that back to Woodrow Wilson in 1913.  Thanks, Mr. Wilson, for nothing!

We are focused on peripheral issues today and nobody in Washington wants to address the three issues I have raised.  They won’t budge UNLESS we help them get off high center and fire enough of them.  Politicians do not like to alter the status quo because in the status quo they find safety and are able to advance their self-serving agendas.  AMERICA, WILL WE ALLOW THIS TO CONTINUE?
