WITH GRATITUDE – – D-DAY REMEMBERED…


It causes my heart to hurt as I am painfully reminded of how little is remembered regarding the events of WWII and the incredible sacrifice made by the Greatest Generation.  Their sacrifices are in the same ballpark as those of the Revolutionary War era.  The fight was for Freedom, not just for us but for much of the world.

With the revised history taught in our primary and secondary educational institutions, few of the present generation know what transpired.  Some have been so indoctrinated and brainwashed regarding the atrocities of the despots of that era that they deny the horror of the Holocaust, the purging in Russia, and the genocide of other regimes.  Denying something does not make it no longer a part of history; it only makes us ignorant of reality. We are a society that has begun calling good evil and evil good.

The Allied Forces, under Supreme Commander Dwight David Eisenhower, devised a plan to land 156,000 Allied troops on the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944. Over 4,000 paid the ultimate price, and in a few days, more than 326,000 troops, over 50,000 vehicles, and 100,000 tons of equipment were on the beach. That was an amazing feat pursuant to our Victory!

By August 1944, all of northern France had been liberated, and by the Spring of 1945, the Allies had defeated Hitler’s Nazi forces.  Historians have called ‘D-Day’ the beginning of the end of WWII.  I am eternally grateful for the sacrifices of those in uniform and those on the home front who tirelessly and sacrificially did what was required.  Their valiant commitment to freedom will always inspire me.

The Allies conducted an ingenious deception operation to hide the true target of the invasion.  They hoped to convince the Germans that the main invasion target would be Pas-de-Calis (the narrowest point between Britain and France).  They attempted to convince the Germans that Norway and other locations would be potential invasion points.  The plan had some success and was incredibly creative and well-orchestrated.

They used fake equipment, a phantom army commanded by General George Patton, supposedly based in England, across the channel from Pas-de-Calis.  They employed double agents and fraudulent radio transmissions in their efforts.   Deception has always been a significant part of warfare.  The devil uses it powerfully on us, and sadly, those who want to fundamentally transform America are engaged in it daily. 

Our American prosperity and freedom have resulted in many developing a level of unappreciative ness. We have moved from a sense of gratitude and thankfulness to a sense of entitlement and allowed political correctness to tarnish our entire system of government and life. 

General Eisenhower told the troops that eventful morning, “You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven for many months.  The eyes of the world are upon you.  The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you.  In company with our brave Allies and brothers-in-arms on other Fronts, you will bring about the destruction of the German war machine, the elimination of the Nazi tyranny over the oppressed people of Europe, and security for ourselves in a free world.    Your task will not be an easy one.  Your enemy is well-trained, well-equipped, and battle-hardened.  He will fight savagely…”

That is precisely what we need to hear today in America and in the Body of Christ.  Our enemy will fight savagely, is well trained, well equipped, and battle-hardened, but we will be victorious IF… The “if” is the key.  IF we unite and refuse to give up or give in.  Freedom must be for everyone!  Freedom of Speech, Press, and Religion must be valiantly protected if we are to remain Free. 

We must stand against tyranny, no matter what suit it is dressed in.  We must stand against oppression, no matter where it comes from.  We must stand against the dismantling of our constitution and republic, no matter who is seeking to do so.  All enemies, both foreign and domestic, must be opposed.  

Thank you to all who served, those who survived, and those who died for us!  Your sacrifice will never be forgotten by this American Vietnam veteran, father, grandfather, Christian, and lover of freedom!

NONCITIZEN VOTES WILL HAVE A MAJOR IMPACT…


I have been concerned for some time about the true reason for allowing the flood of illegals to cross our southern border.  I believe that one of the major reasons is to replace the lost votes from moderates, independents, and liberals through Biden’s incompetence.  I believe that they have a multipronged approach to stealing the election in November.

I list only some of the prongs on the fork of destruction:

  • Sully Trump in the Minds of Voters Through the Courts and Media.
  • Utilize the Voting Machines to Skew Results.
  • Use the Federal Law Enforcement Agencies to Threaten the GOP members of Congress.
  • Silence As Many Conservative and Christian Voices as Possible.
  • Give the Illegals a Pathway to Voting in the National Elections.

Those are just a few of the prongs on this fork of destruction that are being implemented and expanded by the Leftists, Globalists, and Establishment power brokers.

It would not be possible to fully examine even those few prongs that I mentioned, so I would like to address the issue of ‘Noncitizen Votes.’  If this is not prevented, it could well and will likely be the determining factor in the election in the so-called ‘Swing States.’  That is one of the reasons for the relocation of illegals to various portions of the nation.

Recently, Jen Psaki, the retired Biden Press Secretary, used her new gig with MSNBC to attack those fighting for America to have legitimate elections.  She attempted to shape the narrative and present the imagery that the GOP ‘SAVE ACT.’ This Act would require “proof” of citizenship and eligibility to vote.  She lamented that this was the latest chapter in the MAGA playbook to spread unsubstantiated doubt as to the integrity of our elections.   It is anything but unsubstantiated.

We have documentation that there are many, possibly millions, of illegals who are being groomed and given a pathway to vote in November.  She ignored the facts, but that has never mattered to the adherents of MSNBC or any of the Leftist media outlets and their listeners.  If it is on the News or the Internet, it must be true, right?

Senator Mike Lee, one of the co-sponsors of the SAVE Act, wrote an enlightening piece for the Federalist:

“Those making this argument [that noncitizen voting in federal elections is already illegal] ignore a glaring problem: the government officials who register voters and conduct federal elections aren’t allowed to require proof of citizenship. It’s, therefore, shockingly easy for noncitizens to vote in federal elections, leaving our elections dangerously vulnerable to foreign interference. Anyone — even an illegal alien or other noncitizen — can register to vote in federal elections just by checking a box and signing a form. This is all on the honor system. No proof of citizenship is required.”

They have already made inroads in allowing the illegals to vote, after all we are simply citizens of the world and borders are immoral, right?  Cities such as Oakland and San Francisco, California, DC, Burlington, Vermont, and NYC and others have already approved measures to allow them the right to vote.  Right?  Well, the ability or opportunity to vote!

Congressman Chip Roy released information that detailed the plan in Washington, DC, to ‘train’ illegals to vote in local elections.  The Left argues that this voting access is only for local elections.  Has anyone seen the flying pigs and unicorns that are prevalent in the delusional world of the Left?

Think about it: we are asking people who are already violating our Laws to be law-abiding and refrain from voting in the national elections.  We are supposed to believe that although they are beholding to the federal ‘sugar daddy’ and urged to support all leftist causes and candidates, they would suddenly become honorable and not vote.  Seriously?  If you believe that, you may be more delusional than Biden himself.

The report shows that approximately 54% of the illegals who have crossed our borders since 2022 still do not have jobs, which makes this even more dangerous.  Those illegals realize that if the Democrats lose power, the GOP and if there is a Republican in the White House, their gravy train would either end or be greatly reduced.  Therefore, they have every incentive to vote early and often, like many others.   The dole, sugar tit is too tempting not to elicit their willingness to walk through the open door presented.

Add to that equation the reality of some of Biden’s handlers (not Biden) that the incompetence and destruction of this administration’s policies are enabling some voters to overcome their fear of Trump.  Biden seems oblivious to the damage his mouth and pen are doing, even in the strongholds of the Left. 

Biden’s abandonment of Israel is impacting the Jewish community negatively.  His devastation of the economy has motivated some in the Black community to abandon him.  Even rapper Macklemore, an old-school hip-hop banger, has turned on Biden.  Other Blacks of note have joined in and declared that there is no way they would vote for him in the fall.

Polls indicate that Trump is leading Biden in 5 of the 6 ‘swing states’ due to the shift of political winds and the migration of young Black and Hispanic voters.  My question has been, “How did it take this long for people to begin waking up?”   However, I realize that history suggests that millions will vote for the Democratic ticket regardless because it is ingrained in them that a vote for a Republican is the ultimate evil. 

God help us to wake up.  I believe that if the truth is presented articulately and the economy remains in shambles, no matter the spin, people see the truth at the gas pump and grocery store.  Inflation numbers are meaningless when the cost of goods is beyond the availability of funds for voters. 

If we are going to reclaim our Republic, we must embrace 2 Chronicles 7:14 and return to moral, fiscal, and relation sanity.  We can see America restored and preserved, but not by pursuing the path that brought us to the juncture.

REMEMBER THAT LIARS LIE, AND LIE, AND LIE, AND LIE…


It is one thing for someone to lie and another to develop a pathological condition that produces perpetual fabrications, distortions, and misrepresentations.  It is one thing for an individual who has no political clout or authority to do so, but it is dangerous for those in positions of power.

I sometimes wonder if only pathological liars run for political office.  Yes, that is using a broad brush and painting everyone with the same stereotypical stripe.  No, I do not believe every politician is a pathological liar, but far too many are in this age we live.

I have reached the place where nothing that comes out of Joe Biden’s mouth surprises me.  I do not know if it is simply being a pathological liar or diminished brain function that causes him to tell his whoppers.  I tend to think it is the former since he has always done this for his five decades in politics.  Therefore, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it just might be a duck, applies to Joe Biden.

He made a speech some time back addressing mental health.  That is almost ironic, but I don’t want to go there.  He said something everyone should have challenged, but the media let it slide.   He said: “One of the things I’m always asked is why Americans have sort of lost faith for a while in being able to do big things. If you could do anything at all, Joe, what would you do? I said I’d cure cancer. They looked at me like why cancer? Because no one thinks we can. That’s why, and we can. We ended cancer as we know it,” the president declared.”

He was perplexed that a broken arm and a mental breakdown were treated differently and said, “There is no distinction” between the two in his mind.  That screams of a loss of contact with reality and reason—no distinction between a broken arm and a mental breakdown.  Anyone who has experienced or been near those knows that there is a dramatic difference.  But Old Joe, who ended cancer as we know it, is unable to make that distinction.  I have to wonder if his claim of ending cancer as we know it has some hidden meaning.

Focusing solely on Joe Biden is not my intent, but his cognitive decline and propensity to abuse the truth are key elements in our political environment.  It would take more space than we have available to walk through several blunders that individually might not suggest a diminished mental state but collectively do.  His mental lapses are so frequent that they appear non-stop.

 It is part of the political animal to accuse the other side of what you are doing, and Biden did just that with regard to Social Security and Medicare.  He claimed that Republicans were gutting the programs when the truth is that his actions are hurting millions by targeting Medicare Advantage. 

Through Biden, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that they were going to claw back $4.7 billion from 2023 through 2032 in overpayments.  I am not opposed to that idea.  The problem is that it will escalate the cost for people who are already in a financially strapped condition.  It will reduce benefits and increase costs.  It is not the Republicans but Biden who initiated that.  Under this move, Medicare Advantage insurers will face an average of 2.3% cut to baseline payments in 2024.  I am not necessarily arguing that the action is not needed but that he continues to lie about who is doing what.

Biden and the Democrats insist that spending at the insane rate is necessary and that the economy is doing splendidly.  I cannot fathom that even a first-year economics major would not realize that no nation can sustain spending $1.7 trillion more than the annual revenue and survive.  

The national federal debt is around $34 trillion, 1.2 times the GDP.  Biden is calling for $17 trillion in additional debt over the next decade.  That means our national debt will climb about 4.2% per annum, and the national debt will soar to $50 trillion or more in ten years!  That is disastrous, but who do they blame? The GOP, of course?  There is only so much other people’s money that can be confiscated to continue the insane spending. 

Tim Kane, the former Vice-Presidential candidate on the Hillary Clinton ticket, advanced the idea that it was OK for the FBI to place informants in churches.  Informants?  He was in favor of the FBI planting people in churches to identify extremism.  Of course, extremism is anything that disagrees with the WOKE, Politically Correct, Leftist agenda.  The claim was that this would protect Americans from ‘white supremacy.’   The basis of that claim was that Catholics who preferred the Latin Mass were advancing ‘white supremacy.’ 

The outright lies by the Director of the FBI and other high-level agents reveal that the agency has become a Super Pac for the Democrats and is a weaponized arm of propaganda targeting political opponents.  They celebrated Pride Month while targeting Catholics as domestic terrorists.  What many feared would transpire under J. Edgar Hoover has become a reality under Biden.  The FBI has become weaponized and the strong arm of those seeking to impose a tyrannical government on us. 

Let me insert something that may sound like an aside but is germane.  The increase in Artificial Intelligence (AI) usage is producing some disturbing realities and admissions.   The algorithms used enable the prediction of a person’s political ideology by analyzing their facial characteristics.  That is a short step from predicting a crime they might commit in the future and preemptively arresting them for the crime.

With the push for globalism and control, the United Nations has introduced an ‘automated fact-checking tool’ to combat what they deem misinformation.  What is misinformation?  It is anything that is out of step with the approved rhetoric of globalism.  Their desire is to have a global government system where the laws and constitutions of sovereign nations would be subservient to the edicts of that global governing body.   The Bible has something to say about that, which is not a good result.

The Declaration of Independence declares our recognition that “all men are created equal.”  That statement flows from the belief that people are free to do whatever they want so long as it does not infringe upon the inalienable rights of others.  Even without a law forbidding murder, one cannot arbitrarily kill another because that would deny their right to life.  Since people have difficulty controlling their passions, governments were formed to cull those passions and provide an avenue for people to live together in peace.

We live in a world where our government has morphed into an activist’s haven for the agenda of toxic liberalism.  The glaring disparity between the prosecutions of those rioting and looting and the January 6 participants’ screams of a judiciary and government that has ceased functioning Constitutionally.  The targeting of Trump while ignoring Hillary and Joe Biden is a glaring example of the hypocrisy and weaponization of the courts.

We live in a period where lies are more prevalent than truth and honesty.  Politicians have realized they can lie with impunity and use projectionism to achieve their goals and win elections.  Once in office, they either go full bore in advancing the toxic agenda or seek to line their personal coffers with financial gain.  America is no longer the focus of politicians.  The Constitution is meaningless to them.  Lies are the norm, and the truth is scarcer than a hen’s teeth.  God help us!

I pray for America and all its citizens that we will return to God and moral sanity, creating a condition that God can bless us again!

REVISITED – – YES MICHELLE – – “All This for a D***** Flag.”

 I wrote this for Memorial Day, May 27, 2013, and I feel that I need to revisit it for those who “Hate America” and “Disrespect and are Unappreciative” of the sacrifices our fallen veterans made.  I believe it is still appropriate today! MEMORIAL DAY 2024!

I want to focus more on those who have served, are serving, and who paid the ultimate price for freedom than politics or political figures.  However, having viewed the video of Michelle Obama’s comments at a 9/11 celebration more than a dozen times and reviewing the comments of “lip-reading experts,” I have concluded that she said what is reported – “All this for a d***** flag.”  The facial expressions and body language of both Michelle and Barack Obama belie their attitude toward the celebration and the flag or the honoring of the flag and what it represents.

I submit the following as partial support for my view:

Obama and his wife were attending the 9/11 Memorial Ceremony and watched as the Color Guard folded the flag into a triangular shape, according to custom.

A video camera caught the two from the sidelines.

Obama’s wife leaned over and said to him, “All this for a d*** flag?”

Obama turned to her, smiled smugly, and nodded his head in agreement.

How do we know what was said?

The video was presented for translation to a lip-reading instructor at The River School, a Washington D.C. school for the deaf.

I deeply respect the American flag, not just because it is the flag of the United States but because of what it represents, has represented, and hopefully will represent into perpetuity.  I deeply respect the American Flag because of the many men and women who have served and paid a very high price to obtain and maintain freedom in this country and other parts of the world. 

For this Vietnam veteran, American citizen (naturally born), Christian, and Texan, the American Flag stirs my heart every time I see it. Any time the National Anthem is played, I immediately rise to my feet in respect and place my hand over my heart as I face the flag.  Why do I do that?   This flag is more than just a piece of cloth; it symbolizes Freedom and Liberty, which are precious to me.

This Flag was the ensign under which our forefathers fought in initially winning Freedom from the Tyrannical Rule of the British Crown.  I’m thankful that over the years, Britain has become one of our closest friends and allies in good times and bad, but at that time, they were seeking to oppress and enslave the colonists. 

Those new Americans had tasted freedom and believed that death would be better than the slavery and tyranny that was being pressed upon them, so they rallied around the flag, which represented a cause that embodied Freedom and Liberty as God-given rights.  They committed their property, time, energy, intellect, and persons to prosecute that war that would end in our establishment as a nation called “The United States of America.”

That Flag has been the ensign under which our men and women have fought against oppression and despotism over the last two centuries.  We stood in WWI, and most thought that was the war to end all wars; it was not long until we discovered that evil that had not been stamped out and adequately dealt with raised its ugly head, and we were plunged into WWII. In that war, the men and women in uniform, as well as the citizenry, rallied around the American Flag and stood against the tide of oppression and evil, securing Freedom for our homeland as well as many throughout the world.  It has a special place in the hearts of those who have served and are serving and I say thank you to each one.

There are those in political power in America today who do not see desecrating the flag as a problem, but any offense to Islam is, in their view, criminal.  That alone speaks volumes about the condition of our nation and the issues we face. 

This Flag, which Frances Scott Key wrote about as the British invaded Washington in 1814 and became our national anthem, is a treasure to most of us. With President James Madison’s aid, Mr. Key sought to free his friend from British imprisonment and was taken captive. 

The British feared he would reveal their plans, so they put him on the British Frigate Surprise.  The British commenced an intense bombardment of Fort McHenry, and when the smoke cleared, Mr. Key and the others saw the tattered American Flag still flying over the fort, which inspired him to write “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

On this Memorial Day, I pause to honor the memory of each one who has served in any capacity to gain, maintain, or reclaim our Freedom.  Words will never be sufficient expressions of our gratitude.  I conclude with some words from our Founding Fathers regarding Liberty:

“Any people that would give up liberty for a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” – – Benjamin Franklin

“Government is not reason; it is not eloquence. It is force. And force, like fire, is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.” – – George Washington

Yes, Michelle and all who fail to appreciate what the FLAG stands for, “All this for a d**** flag,” the American Flag!  That flag is a symbol of Freedom for all to see!  May God help us NEVER FORGET and be thankful for what this flag represents and symbolizes.

NEWS ALERT – UTOPIA, THIS AIN’T…


If we focus on what is happening in this world, we will miss what God is doing and wants to do.  If we focus solely on the political and the news of the day, we will almost assuredly become depressed to some degree.  We will limit the vision God desires for us because of the world’s hopelessness today.  However, if we place Him first and seek Him wholeheartedly, we can see His Kingdom come and His will done on earth as it is in heaven.  We can impact our culture rather than our culture impacting us.  We are to be salt and light.  So, let us be the preservative and flavoring that the world needs.

I wish I could say that I have not become somewhat cynical regarding the politics of the modern politician, but I cannot.  If I listened to and accepted the lies (I mean diatribe and rhetoric) of the Liberal Leftist Globalist, Socialist politicians, I would believe that they are in the process of creating Utopia.  I am sure there are unicorns and flying pigs in their fantasy land, as well as money trees.  In fact, I would think there must be a place you can go and all your wishes and wants are made a reality.  After all, they… Well, they are…

Utopia could be defined as the state, land, or nation where the government provides for all your needs.  You do not even have to become a citizen to reap the benefits of the benevolent gravy train.  You only need to be here and vote in the way they desire for you to vote.  You are not allowed to voice disapproval; that would be heretical, and heretics are burned at the stake.  You can hate America, God, and American patriots and devise plans to destroy this nation and her people, and you will still be the beneficiary of the Utopian Freebies.  After all, if you get enough free stuff and we appease you enough, you will love us, right?

In this Utopian creation of the followers of toxic liberalism, the legal citizens happily work to provide for those who choose not to work and are not citizens.  After all, it is our moral duty to be the sugar daddy for the world, right?  How dare we expect anyone to work for their keep and carry their fair share of the load? That is not who we are as Americans, right?  No, No, No, we are the caretakers of the entitled, those who feel threatened and feel they should receive some form of reparation for some past sin on someone.  It does not have to be them, just someone who looks like them; that is sufficient.

When the demands for this benevolence exceed those working legal citizens’ ability to care for their own, too, and object, then ‘reprogramming’ is necessary.  The state is in dire need of those legal citizens’ tax dollars and wages, so they must be re-indoctrinated and forced to get their heads right and be compliant.  We, the legal working-class Americans, may not be able to afford the energy to heat our homes or buy food to feed our families, but it is a small sacrifice to ensure the healthy lifestyles of those on the dole.

If you object to the Leftist’s agenda, ideology, and rhetoric, you are a threat to the Utopian Democracy and, therefore, must be dealt with.  In the Utopia that the Left is creating, the American Dream only applies to the Dreamers and the Entitled, not the working stiffs who have to work two jobs to get by.  There is Free Everything, paid for by the American Taxpayer.  Free Education, Free Healthcare, Free Cell Phones, Free Abortions, Free Food.  If you do not have it, just quit your job and become a liberal voter, and you are immediately granted your heart’s desire. 

There could never be a problem convincing doctors, nurses, and others in the healthcare industry to stay in that profession that provides free care for everyone, right?  The government-regulated and salaried requirements could never cause a shortage of healthcare providers, could it? 

It would be un-American and un-Christian to want to better yourself. We are expected to follow John Kerry’s advice to the Pipeline workers, to make better choices, and to get better jobs, right? There could never be the potential for delays and denials of healthcare in the Utopian system, could there? Fewer healthcare workers, fewer hospitals, and fewer medications could not possibly be a factor; after all, this is the ideological utopia of the Left.

We should trust the government, the so-called experts such as Dr. Fauci, and the WHO.  Their contradictions and failed efforts must not become part of the equation.  After all, in Utopia, the benevolent benefactors who govern are incapable of making errors, right?  We should trust the media, drink the Kool-Aid they offer, and accept their propaganda as truth and light, right?  They have never deceived, misled, or sought to propagandize, have they?   Utopia is such a grand place; fantasies usually are!

In the Utopia the Left is creating, there is no more concern about the so-called imminent destruction of the planet and life on Earth due to Climate Change, Global Warming, or Climate Disruption.  Nope, carbon taxes and the destruction of the fossil fuel industry solve that problem, according to the Utopians.  Those dastardly CO2 emissions will be offset by the glorious carbon tax, and the problem is solved.  The fact that the insiders will make millions, if not billions, on the green energy focus is just a byproduct and a reward from their leadership, right?  The rest of us will pay exorbitant amounts for energy and everything else, but that is a small price to pay for living in Utopia, right?

The sovereignty of the United States is no longer needed in Utopia because we are all citizens of the world; therefore, we are supposed to have no border restrictions.  Being a citizen is not necessary to vote in the elections, receive benefits provided by the taxpayers, and have the full protection of the constitution.  Wait, what constitution? Utopia does not need the United States Constitution, so relegate it to the trash heap and stow it away in the archives of outdated relics.

Also, there is no need for prisons.  They will not call them prisons but re-education facilities for those who resist.  Homeowners are not allowed to question the motives of any unwelcome intruder because, after all, this is Utopia, and whatever anyone wants, they have a right to it.  If you attempt to use the soon-to-be outlawed ‘castle doctrine’ and protect your person and property, you will be violating the civil rights of the thief. 

The government will pay everyone the mandated minimum wage of $15 or $20 per hour.  A rate that will destroy free enterprise and make it impossible for small businesses to operate.  But, have no fear, for in Utopia, there is no such thing as hyperinflation, and the national debt is simply paper accounting and nothing to be concerned about.  The fact that China and other foreign governments own much of our property and hold our debt is not threatening, for none would dare threaten Utopia.

In Utopia, there is no right and wrong, for there are no absolutes.  Each person gets to decide what is right in their own eyes.  Absolutes infringe upon a person’s thoughts and demand accountability and personal responsibility, which is taboo in Utopia.  The antiquated idea of Life, Liberty, Personal Property, and the pursuit of Happiness are not permitted. 

The more I consider what they declare is reality and what I know to be, I am not sure they are creating a Utopia but a Hell on Earth.  If you believe that there is a Free Ride that costs no one anything, you are a prime candidate for the Utopian Society of the Democrats.  If you realize that nothing is truly free and that somebody has to pay for the Freebies, you are unwelcome.

As for me and my house, we opt to follow the King of kings, not some earthly would-be potentate who believes they have the right to dictate how we live and seeks total control of everything.  I know that someday I will live in the only Utopia possible, God’s Holy Heaven.  I will strive to live on earth in a manner that reflects His goodness and righteousness.  I trust God, not the government.  I will bow to no man or woman, only the Living God, the Creator of All Things.  Hey, Alice, Joe, Kamala, Nancy, Chuck, etc., there is no UTOPIA on Earth!

FROM THE MAYFLOWER COMPACT TO THE CONSTITUTION, THE FOUNDERS VIEWED GOD AS ESSENTIAL…


So many people erroneously try to create a separation of Church and State that would prevent any insertion of God or religious principles in the operation of government of any religious practice, prayer, or mention on public property.  People say, “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s….”

Does that mean that everything that the government is involved in is Caesar’s simply because they are involved?  I think not!  The government does not give us our rights.  The Founding Fathers recognized that these were inalienable rights that came to mankind from their creator and not from the government. 

The Founding Fathers did not want to prevent religion from being involved in government but to prevent the government from controlling or dictating religion.  We seem to have taken the bait dangled by the ACLU, the atheists, those on the left, the socialists, and other groups that want to censor and silence all Christian voices and render us a secular nation.

The Mayflower Compact entwined God and the advancement of the Christian faith as part of their purpose, and it was directly and explicitly incorporated into their governmental operations. 

The name Christopher Columbus means “Christ-bearer.”  Then, if you view the places he named, you see God in each of them:  

  • San Salvador means “Holy Savior.”
  • Vera Cruz means “True Cross.”
  • La Navidad means “Nativity” or “Christmas.”
  • Trinidad, which means “The Trinity.” 

There is a direct quote from his log, “It was the Lord who put into my mind to sail to the Indies.  The fact that the Gospel must be preached in so many lands – – that is what convinced me.  Charting the seas is but a necessary requisite for the fulfillment of the great commission of our Lord and Savior.”

William Bradford, a Mayflower passenger and Governor of the Plymouth colony said: “They (the Pilgrims) had a great hope and inward zeal of laying some good foundation or at least to make some way there unto for the propagating and advancing of the gospel of the kingdom of Christ in those remote parts of the world, yea though they should be but even a stepping stone unto others for the performing of so great a work.”  Later, he expressed his grief and sorrow at the growing secularism and the loss of constant faithfulness.

George Washington, our Nation’s first President, said in his farewell address on September 17, 1796 – “The Bible… is the one supreme source of revelation of the meaning of life, the nature of God and spiritual nature and need of men. It is the only guide of life which really leads to the spirit in the way of peace and salvation.  America was born a Christian nation.”   “Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.”  “It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.”

Benjamin Rush, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and founder of five universities, three of which exist today, authored a paper entitled: “The defense of the use of the Bible as a schoolbook.”  He penned twelve reasons not to take the Bible out of the school, but at the end of the paper, he wrote, “If we were to remove the Bible from public schools, we would be wasting so much time punishing crimes and taking so little pains to prevent them.”  (Boy, are we seeing that today, and those who support Separation of Church and State and all the organizations and groups that want to Ban the Bible cannot see it.)

Theodore Roosevelt, President of the United States, wrote — “Progress has brought us both unbounded opportunities and unbridled difficulties. I believe that the next half century will determine if we will advance the cause of Christian civilization or revert to the horrors of brutal paganism. The thought of modern industry in the hands of Christian charity is a dream worth dreaming. The thought of industry in the hands of paganism is a nightmare beyond imagining. The choice between the two is upon us.”

“There is only one morality. All else is immorality. There is only true Christian ethics over against which stands the whole of paganism. If we are to fulfill our great destiny as a people, then we must return to the old morality, the sole morality.”

John Adams, Founding Father – In 1798, he proclaimed that the 9th day of May that year would be a day of solemn humiliation, fasting, and prayer that the people of the US would offer their devout addresses to the Father of Mercies.   Just let the President TRY to do that today.

Earl Warren – Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, 1954, “I believe that no one can read the history of our country without realizing that the good book and the spirit of the savior, have from the beginning have been our guiding geniuses.”

To fail to recognize that the founders and leaders throughout history have recognized the importance of God’s inclusion and involvement in the affairs of man, including government, cannot be missed or dismissed. Yet, we have done it in modern America and to our detriment.

Today, we are seeing a war waged by this administration on the Judeo-Christian Faith, and it is incessant.  He sides with the groups wanting to eliminate all mention of God, religious icons, or symbols from any public property or function.  America, we were founded on the principles of the Bible; we have thrived honoring those principles, and we will fall dishonoring those principles.

As you consider each upcoming election, think about what you want.  Do you want to see America return to what the Founder’s dreamed or what The Leftists, Globalists, Liberal, and WOKE adherents desire?  I like the Founder’s dream of a Free Republic. Therefore, I will vote no on the Leftists each election!

I Remember When


I must be getting older because I can remember better days, but they seem like years ago.  I remember:

  • I remember a time when you did not have to lock your door at night or when you left for the day. I am sure there were those who would have stolen from us, but the neighbors were watchful, and we cared for each other.
  • I remember when you could make a deal with a handshake rather than having a bevy of lawyers write a contract that contained hidden fine print, opening the door for litigation.
  • I remember when being patriotic was commendable and even something to be desired rather than viewed as outdated and obsolete.
  • I remember when everyone stood when the National Anthem was being played. The men removed their hats, and everyone placed their hands over their hearts with pride.
  • I remember when marriage was considered sacred and honorable, unlike today when many choose to test drive the relationship before entering into marriage.
  • I remember when giving a full day’s work for a day’s pay was normal, unlike today when giving as little as possible to get as much as possible is not only acceptable but expected.
  • I remember when there was time to take walks, read books, sit around the table with family or friends, and break bread without a cell phone ringing with another text or call.
  • I remember when we received news about the well-being of others either by letter or personal visit rather than via text, email, Facebook, or tweets.
  • I remember when everyone knew everyone in the neighborhood, and if you had a project or need, they were ready and willing to pitch in and help.
  • I remember when teachers in school cared about educating a child and ensuring that they knew how to read and write rather than just making a grade on a standardized test for Public Relations purposes, federal funds, and grants.
  • I remember when getting a toy at Christmas was a special treat.
  • I remember when you could pray in school and recite the pledge of allegiance to the flag.
  • I remember a great many things that do not seem to exist any longer.

I will never forget returning home from Vietnam in December of 1967.  I was unprepared for what I would experience in San Francisco, California.  Students from Berkley University lined a fence that we had to go past.  They commenced throwing various things, including body fluids, at us.  Everyone but two of us were on gurneys or wheelchairs. 

The incredible anger that welled inside my being was uncontainable.  It was assuredly not righteous indignation, although it was the right thing to feel compared to what they were doing. 

That crowd contained about three hundred protesters, and the two of us were going over the fence into the crowd when the military police stopped us.  They said, “It is a good thing they took your weapons before you boarded the plane to come home.”  Wisdom was not part of my makeup at that moment; anger was!  We were returning home from a war that our country asked us to go and fight.

I lost friends in that faraway land and know many who will be scarred for life, not just from the war but the treatment they received when returning home.  We were not there because we were warmongers but because we were patriotic and found it unconscionable to burn our draft cards, and fleeing to Canada or any other country was not an option.

I am eternally grateful for the honor and love shown to WW II veterans when they returned from that war. The Greatest Generation made a colossal sacrifice to free us, and I am grateful. I was equally thankful when the Gulf War veterans returned home and were honored and shown respect by most Americans.

However, I can still hear the words of people like Hanoi Jane Fonda calling those of us who served in Vietnam baby killers, murderers, and rapists in her broadcast from Hanoi.  In any earlier generation, she would have likely been tried for treason. By that time, America had begun a significant move in the wrong direction in our ideology, views, and morals.

The men and women who served in Iraq and Afghanistan deserved and deserve our full support and respect.  My blood boils, even now, when I hear someone defame or discredit our veterans.  There was a time when burning the American flag was considered a treasonous act, and one committed that atrocity at their own peril. 

Gone are the days when people were expected to make their own way in life and pay for what they got. We have almost reached the point where most of our society expects the government to provide everything free! Gone is the era when the only expectation of the government was to protect and defend this country, maintain domestic tranquility, and allow free enterprise to be just that—free enterprise. 

Gone are the days when we were not taxed to the point of having to work from January to August to pay the taxes. Gone are the days when most in Congress realized that the present system was immoral, illegal, and unconstitutional. The hidden taxes, regulations, and fees are stifling.

There was a time when the Constitution of the United States of America was the governing document of our Republic, and only the Bible held more authority for most.  Today, it seems that this administration intends to completely dismantle and destroy the very document that provided for this incredible Republic, under God, to become a beacon of hope for the world.  The American Dream has been a prize that most people of the world desire and seek to participate in, often at the risk of their own lives.

What happened to the view that communism and tyrannical despots who do not value human life are evil?  When did we lose our value for human life?  Some would insist that my memories are nothing more than nostalgic fantasy and a view of a time that never existed.  We are being told in this modern era that it is time to scuttle the Constitution, cast off our Judeo-Christian values, set aside our ethics, and become nothing more than pawns of a tyrannical government that controls everything and everyone. 

As a Christian and a patriotic Vietnam veteran, I cannot sit idly by and watch this nation be stolen without a fight.  We must use our tools wisely to combat this encroachment on our freedom.  The sinister nature of this growing evil requires our attention.  They desire to dispense of our founding principles and transform America into something other than the Free Constitutional Republic it has been and still is.

It is time for each of us who pray and believe in prayer to begin interceding as never before.  It is time for us all to become involved in the political arena because politics is life.  It is time for us to return to our moral moorings and stand on our principles and faith as never before.  We may never have the “good old days” again, but we can turn the tide and take back our liberty! 

It is truly up to us to fight this fight!  I have four anchors:  My Faith, My Family, My Friends, and My Freedom!  I will not go quietly.  I love America and desire to remain and live free, and I want everyone else in America to have that experience!

AMERICAN POLITICAL REALITY –  GOVERNING via THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL…


During the Obama presidency, it was the first time in American history that we had a person occupy the office of the President of the United States who campaigned 365 days per year even after being inaugurated for a second term and not up for reelection.  One might suppose that it was a desire to solidify a ‘legacy,’ but if you look a little closer, you will realize it is much more than that.

The Statist, Progressives, Liberals, and Democrats have learned, and Barack Obama practiced the philosophy that if you campaign all the time, you are not held accountable or responsible for what you do.  You can even campaign against what you are doing and have a significant portion of the populace believe that you are their friend and fighting for them while you weave a web of deceit and destruction that will be their ultimate ruin. 

Even in that eventuality, they still believe that that politician is not the blame or responsible.  They believe whoever the politician or party labels as the enemy or the obstacle is the blame.  It does not matter what the truth is, what the facts are, or what the reality is; they will believe that their preferred politician is their knight in shining armor and will love them for being on their side.

I find it almost incomprehensible that a huge percentage of voting people cannot see or fail to understand that the very things Mr. Obama campaigned against were the things he and his party were doing.  That has not changed, and it is even more pronounced under Biden.  The Democrats know the Republicans have historically been ‘spineless.’ The Leftists know that their weak-willed opponents will believe whatever ‘fear tactic’ is issued.  Therefore, they continue to spin the spin and watch the milquetoast Republicans run for cover, cowering in the shadows, and offering compromise and concession to whatever the left desires. 

The Republican Establishment has a recent history of waging war on conservative and constitutional values.  They have become one of the Democrat’s best allies in the political spectrum.  They never seem to realize what they are doing; at least, one would hope they don’t realize it.   If they do realize it and are doing it in complicity with the Democrats, they are even worse than we have believed.  That would make them as sinister, if not more so, than the Democrats, whose agenda is American Destruction.

It is a page from the Alinsky playbook and the playbooks of radical despots throughout history.   The plan is ‘divide and conquer,’ ‘stir up emotions,’ and ‘tell your lies frequently enough,’ and people will believe what you are saying.  They have learned that their supporters never face the facts and force them to accept responsibility or accountability – they Blame, Blame, Blame!

Many have said that Barack Obama did not govern because he did not know how.   I suggest that the deviousness of this “Governing via The Campaign Trail” is far more sinister rather than a sign of incompetence.  I believe that Obama and Biden were both unqualified for the job. Yet, the destruction is readily apparent.

I believe that those on Obama’s team and Biden’s handlers realized that if they followed their current path of deception, they would escape without any attachment to them for the destruction that was going on, the destruction that they have largely caused via their policies, ideology, and agenda. 

It is brilliant in a sinister way. The Republicans could tear down this strategy, but no one seems to be able or willing to articulate conservative constitutional values. They self-destruct, implode, and cave on every occasion, and the left is enjoying their ‘newfound’ methodology and pathway to permanent entrenchment on the political spectrum. 

God help America if we do not find people who can articulate, as Reagan did, the real values of constitutional conservatives. That is a value and belief that a majority of Americans would support.  Sadly, since the Republicans repeatedly cower to the Democrats, engage in infighting, and demonstrate an inability or unwillingness to educate the people, it does not happen.  Their hatred for Trump makes them willing partners with the Left in the destruction of our Republic.

I am ardently praying for someone to rise who is capable, willing to do so, and demonstrates honesty and integrity in life and politics.   Donald Trump’s personality can be grating, but his presidency provided some needed protections for our liberties and allowed America to return to a needed place of prominence in the world. 

Will he be returned to office, or will someone with the intestinal fortitude to stand for the Constitution and not kowtow to the old boy system of corruption step forward?  I do not know.  At this point, political correctness, societal confusion, and personality politics seem to say NO!   I see glimpses of hope, but tragically, they often lapse into obscurity as the potential candidates become part of the system, and we have business as usual – Corruption and Expansion in Government!

The planned destruction of our Republican form of government has been in the works for over 100 years, dating back to and even beyond the Fabian Socialists. The globalists desire to transform us into a small cog in the wheel of a One World System and strip us of our rights and liberties. The ruling elite would be in total control, and the rest of us would be their surfs doing their bidding and enabling them to live in the lap of luxury, exerting total control.

May God bless you, and may God provide someone who will stand for God, morality, ethics, integrity, and the Constitution and serve the people. 

LET ME LOOK INTO MY CRYSTAL BALL…


Actually, I look to my Bible, into my heart, and consider what is happening in America politically, socially, morally, and economically and see some things about the future. Could I be wrong in what I believe I see?  Of course, but if I am right, what I am going to say should be both a wake-up call and a call to action for every person who loves Liberty and Freedom and desires to ensure that the Republic called the United States of America is preserved and restored.  

I hope that whether a person identifies as a conservative, constitutionalist, patriot, liberal, or progressive, America remaining a Free Republic will be of the utmost importance.  I realize that is somewhat Utopian, but it is a Hope that keeps burning in my heart.  I keep hoping that America’s citizens will wake up and realize that we have been lied to by politicians and those desiring to “fundamentally transform” this nation into something other than what it was designed to be and has been for a very long time.  I Keep Hoping!

I can see the effect of the Mass Media campaigns by the Left and their surrogates in the Press, Hollywood, and Congress, and it is not a pleasant sight.  I have talked to people who believe in conservative principles, hold constitutional views, and have strong moral values who ceded defeat in the 2020 and 2022 elections. 

Some began to believe the rhetoric and spin of the Left and questioned virtually everything that President Trump did.  Some said, “I want to believe his promises, but look at the chaos, confusion, and corruption in his administration.”  When I asked for specifics, they usually gave me the current media spin, and the talking points of the Left echoed in the Press.  That was troubling and could mean an ominous storm brewing politically, socially, economically, and morally in America.

I talked to some who voted for President Trump in 2016 but became discouraged or complacent. They did not vote in the primaries and have no real interest in voting in the General Election in November.  They sing, “Que Sera, Sera,” and argue that “Politics in America is cyclical.” They argued, “We’ve always survived, and we will this time.”   I hope they are correct long-term about surviving, but I am not convinced, based on what I hear, read, and see coming out of the Democrat Camp.

If the Democrats retain the White House and keep the Senate in the 2024 elections, let me paint the picture I see in America, and you decide what you should do.  The picture I am going to paint is not pleasant, although the allure of the Utopia promised by the Leftists is alluring and has the effect of the mythical Sirens upon sailors. 

The allure is blinding, and the effect is the same as a lobotomy, which shuts down the cognitive reason in the brain, and the emotional tug is more powerful than reason. What will happen if the Democrats retain the White House and keep the Senate in 2024?

There will be an immediate move to censor and silence all conservative voices that will include indictment and jail time for anyone daring to violate their politically correct mandates.   There will be a continued barrage of charges leveled against Donald Trump and any Republican who sided with him.

Politicians are, for the most part, far more interested in getting elected and reelected than they are in America. That would result in members of the GOP linking arms with the Democrats in seeking to restore the cronyism and good old boy power structure hiding it from public view.

If the Left also retains control of the Senate, there will be a renewed effort to pack the Supreme Court and every appellate and Federal Judgeship in the nation with Leftist Activists. How many RINOs and cowardly Republicans would side with them?  That depends on the effectiveness of the MSM in painting Trump as Genghis Kahn, Hitler, or Lucifer. 

Taxes will continue to soar, and inflation will become the death knell in our economy.  The decades-long desire of the Leftists to confiscate our retirement funds and all our monies will have a new footing and an open door to proceed.  We will see worse than Obamacare become the norm in our healthcare system.

Amnesty will become a reality, and the massive influx of new Democrats (illegals) will prove to be an insurmountable obstacle to Liberty and Freedom.  Fair elections will be a forever-forgotten hope! 

Our sovereignty as a nation will be severely destabilized, our national security jeopardized, and our 1st, 2nd, and 4th Amendment Rights in grave jeopardy.  We will discover that the charges of “Hate Speech” will become more readily applied to anything conservative, constitutional, or biblical.  The Second Amendment and our Right to Keep and Bear Arms will become a clear and present danger. 

The above actions will facilitate the expansion of new Democratic voters, and the likelihood of any Republican or Conservative winning a national election would become difficult, if not impossible.

However, there is another side to that coin: the one I am praying for, fighting for, and hoping for. That side is that Conservatives and Constitutionalists, regardless of party affiliation, will awaken from their slumber, realize the truth, and become engaged and involved. 

If we awaken and genuinely appreciate our Freedoms and Liberties and find the courage to stand, we will defeat them.  But that requires us to become involved and vote!  Not vote early and often as some on the Left, but Vote!  

If we want a secure border, a safe nation, a growing and robust economy, tax reform, reduced government, spending, and debt nationally, more control of our healthcare, the problem of illegal immigration dealt with, and everyone to be held equally accountable under the law, we must become involved.  That is more than a need but obligatory if we are true American Patriots and want to “Keep the Republic.”

What must we do?  Pray!  Yes, that is how we arrived at the place where Hillary Clinton was kept out of the White House in 2016, and Joe Biden must be evicted in 2024.  However, I believe that we must also work! 

We cannot sit like birds in the wilderness waiting to be fed and expect God to do it for us when He tells us to labor and pray. Scriptures enjoin us to work and tell us to “whatever our hands find to do, do it with our might.” If you pray, then we need you to join the massive and growing army of Prayer Warriors, praying for America and the World. 

If you are a Lover of Freedom and Liberty, we need you to invest yourself in this struggle for the survival of our Republic.  How do you do that?  You talk to others and articulate your views and desires for America.  You inform them of the lies, fabrications, distortions, and failures of the Leftist Ideology.  Begin with those close to you and within your sphere of influence, then branch out to whomever you can gain an audience with. 

You will likely be scorned, ridiculed, and attacked.  I have people say to me, “How can you claim to be a Christian and vote for Trump or any Republican?”  I often turn the tables on them and ask, “How can you claim to love America and claim to be a Christian and vote for Biden or any of the Leftist Ideologues or Agendas?” 

But more often, I tell them, “Donald Trump is not my pastor or spiritual leader, and God has used some incredibly flawed human beings in the facilitation of His purposes in the world. I vote for the proposed policies I believe are good and right for America and vote against those I believe would damage and destroy the Republic.”  That is How I Can Vote for Trump or a Conservative!

One of two things will result from these upcoming elections: a hard-left turn or an awakening. If we allow the Left to retain the White House and the Senate, we will see America backtrack and take a hard left turn politically, which will impact us morally, socially, economically, and, in some ways, spiritually. 

If we defeat the Left, we will see a shift in some Republicans and even Democrats whose constituencies desire a Restored America and want to maintain our inalienable and constitutional rights.  We will see America begin to move toward what we have been praying and fighting for.  It is up to us, so “What is our Decision?”

AMERICAN POLITICS – Is it Neurotic or Monomaniacal?


No matter how you see it, it is out of sync with reality and showing no signs of improving.  I saw a quote by a Law Professor at the University of Tennessee College of Law, Glenn Reynolds, that caught my attention. He said, “Looking around at our politics, it’s hard not to feel that there’s an increasingly neurotic strain to them.”  He included COVID and ‘safetyism’ and the developing phenomenon of single women voting in blocs for the Democrats.  It seems he may have a point.

I added the possibility of being monomaniacal because of the obsession with singular pet issues that make the person incapable of considering any ideas other than their own.  They are oblivious to the plethora of issues facing America; their issue is “The Issue,” and they are willing to destroy anyone disagreeing.  That is dangerous, but that is where we seem to be.

I am unwilling to take the bait and, as some have, relegating it to differences in the sexes and how men and women think and react.  I have found that although books like Pride and Prejudice, Great Expectations, or George Eliot were the eternal worrier, Lisbeth was a chronic worrier.  Men frequently do the same thing, even if they hide and deny it.  It is a modern dilemma. 

Today, many males and females, liberal, progressive, conservative, and even Christian, are showing signs of falling prey to the neurotic or monomaniacal.  It extends far beyond politics, but since politics affects our Republic and our lives dramatically, it is something on which to focus.

During my childhood, PTSD was unheard of by the public, but the term ‘shell shock’ was common.  I have those I knew who had served in WWII and Korea and were diagnosed with ‘shell shock.’  They were neurotic at times and could be dangerous.  Someone offered an interesting observation regarding combat stress reaction. 

“It is said, for instance, that a man cannot endure more than 100 days in combat.  He goes through three stages:  thinking ‘It won’t happen to me,’ then thinking, “It’s bound to happen to me,’ and finally, “Why hasn’t it happened to me?’  After 100 days, the combat soldier goes mad – battle fatigue, shell shock, mental issues, PTSD take over.”  

I don’t know if that is a scientific diagnosis and determination, but the stress of war or life that is non-stop takes catastrophic tolls on people’s psyche.  What we are watching in America today is akin to that condition.  No, I am not saying that politics in any fashion compares to being in combat.  I served in Vietnam and would never diminish my experiences or those who served in much worse conditions than I did.  War is hell, and that hell, when experienced, produces lasting effects that only God can cure.

Not only is the voting public suffering, but the sinister plots of the diabolical politicians and handlers are fanning the flame of the neurotic or monomaniacal.  We are witnessing the demise of our Republic from within.  We are entering a stage of tyrannical government.  I wish I could paint a rosy picture and declare that all is okay, but it is not.  It is a fantasy to believe that man can somehow fix the condition now existing.  Only God can repair and restore us.  ONLY GOD!

A couple of decades ago, most Americans considered Tyranny a bad thing and something to be stopped at all costs.  It was un-American and a direct threat to our freedoms and liberties.  Today, that view has shifted, and we are witnessing a dangerous condition that has become the norm in America.

America was born in opposition to tyranny.  The founding fathers considered resistance to tyranny the hallmark of their labors.  Today, despotism is on the rise with the revisionism of history, the vilification of our founders, and the continual shift to an entitlement mentality.  People willingly subject themselves to tyranny out of a desire for personal gratification (freebies), the insanity of political correctness, and the flawed philosophy that everything must be equal.

Today, we are watching tyranny gain footholds within the institutions, bureaus, and governmental arms established to prevent it.  Let me offer a simple definition of tyranny, and you determine if you believe it applies to today’s America.  “By definition, tyrants are those who, for whatever reason, have been empowered to write, interpret, and enforce any such laws as they alone may feel are even remotely necessary and appropriate for them to protect and retain their power.”

This may agitate some, but the efforts of people like Fani Willis, Alvin Bragg, and Jack Smith, all politically motivated prosecutors who are doing the bidding of their political overlords, scream we are in danger.  I do not care what you think of Donald Trump or anyone associated with him. Still, if you cannot see the political hypocrisy in his indictments and the absence of similar indictments for anyone on the left, you are not being honest.  If that angers you, I am sorry, but it is the truth.

In today’s America, we are witnessing government officials (holding office legitimately or illegitimately) misusing their political power (offices) to unilaterally declare that it is illegal for anyone even to consider questioning publicly whether those officials were elected legitimately or not. 

It is a dangerous condition that opens the door to tyranny when those officials are empowered by ideologically sympathetic judges who charge only their political opponents with crimes while giving the regime a free pass.  Ignoring evidence and probable cause to investigate and indict is symptomatic of the neurotic condition, which I believe exists today in American politics.  The voters are willingly blind or blatantly ignorant.  Either way, we are in deep trouble in America.

The outrage over Oliver Anthony’s song expresses our descent into the dark tyrannical abyss.  The words of his song should resonate: “It’s a d*** shame what the world’s gotten to for people like me and people like you.  Wish I could just wake up and it not be true.  But it is, oh, it is…”

I am reminded of the dire warning of the 19th-century French economist Frederic Bastiat in “The Law.”  He said, “When law and morality contradict each other, the citizen has the cruel alternative of either losing his moral sense or losing his respect for the law.”   Both are catastrophic for a Free Constitutional Republic and an invitation to the tyrannical.

The tyranny that is rising in America is the precursor to Totalitarianism.  I see what is happening from the biblical light and believe we have traversed too far to rectify what is happening at the polls alone.  It will require a concerted effort of unified intercession and restoration of our moral and spiritual moorings.  I believe the directive of 2 Chronicles 7:14 is our hope. 

I ask that you continue doing all you know to do to restore America. If you are not already doing so, please add intercession for America. We must find a way to drop our monomaniacal politics, which leads to further polarization and division. I will always stand for Faith, Family, and Freedom!
