WHAT, WHY, HOW, and WHO – Behind the Scenes Regarding Religious Freedom.


As a Christian, a natural-born American citizen, a patriot, a believer in the Constitution, a Vietnam Veteran, and a father and grandfather, I am deeply concerned about the trend of attacking Religious Liberty in America! 

I have asked myself and others, why? Who is behind it?  I ask, what is happening? How is it being facilitated, and what is the methodology being used?  I am more than a little concerned; I am moved enough to sound the alarm as loudly as possible and everywhere possible. 

The directive God gave Ezekiel is relevant for today and resonates with me.  I try not to self-identify as anything other than a child of God and a Christian.  I hope the fruit of that is evident, and I need not belabor the issue.  However, I do feel that God has called me to be a Watchman.  That is not to elevate me, but to indicate His love for humanity and wants us to stand in the gap, seek to salvage lives, and even protect nations for His purposes. 

God told Ezekiel that if he saw the danger, he was to sound the alarm and give a warning.  If he failed to do so, the blood of those who perished would be on his hands.  If he did and they rejected the warning, it was on them, and if they received it, they would be spared.  I believe God is calling many today to stand up and speak up for what is right and good and fight the good fight of faith. 

Some insist that as a preacher and a Christian, I must not be involved in politics, but since politics is life and I am a living being and involved in life, how can I not be involved, invested, and interested?  In our American Constitution, the First Amendment, our Founders sought to ensure that the government would NEVER infringe upon our religious rights and freedoms.

The interpretation of that amendment and expressed view of the Founders has morphed into protecting the government from religion.  That is not the declaration or the purpose of the protection in the Constitution.  It was not to keep all religious views out of government but to keep the meddling hands of government out of the church and religion.  It was to prevent the government from imposing its interpretation of religious thought upon the citizens. 

When we allowed God to be evicted from our public schools, government, and the public square, we invited what we have today.  Without fully embracing the gloom and doom view and scream the sky is falling, I sound the alarm.  Religious Freedom is under attack today in America.  Yet, the reality is that this is not new but has been transpiring historically since our inception as a nation.  It has been happening in the world since the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.  It is as old as man!  When Lucifer rebelled, it began and has not ceased.

It is verifiable that the number of violent attacks on churches and religious groups is increasing.  Protesters and rioters are either openly being encouraged or via subliminal messaging and suggestions to engage in that type of activity.  That is troubling, and the guilty should be held accountable.

The Biden administration, possibly to a greater extent than any previous, is waging war on our religious freedoms.  Why?  What is the motive?  How are they doing this?   Sadly, with the shift in the view of the courts and many in America regarding the so-called wall of separation between church and state, they are allowed to do so with impunity. 

The Biden administration has recently begun moving toward revocation of the Religious Liberty and Free Inquiry Rule, making it more difficult for campus religious groups to exercise their religious liberties.  Why?  I cannot answer that exhaustively, maybe only exhaustingly, but one reason is that religious thought counters the ideological rhetoric and agenda the Left desires to advance.  It reinforces views of the traditional family, gender, morality, and biblically!

Politicians and the diabolical know they will lose footing and power if they allow biblical, morality, and true science to counter their arguments and agenda.  If people are allowed to think and hear the truth, they will reject the distortions of those following the toxic liberal globalist agenda.  Thinking people are a threat to totalitarianism, globalism, and toxic liberalism.

America’s religious freedoms are under attack more than ever in our history! It has been documented that in 2015 there were 1,285 attacks on religion. That was double what transpired in 2012.  Several groups were targeted, including Christians, Jews, and those of Native American faith. 

Kelly Shackelford, president, CEO, and chief counsel of First Liberty, said, “Hostility to religion in America is rising like floodwaters…The flood is engulfing ordinary citizens who simply try to live normal lives according to their faith and conscience.  It is eroding the bedrock on which stand vital American institutions such as government, education, the military, business, house of worship, and charity.”   He continued and warned, “It has the potential to wash away the ground that supports our other rights, including freedom of speech, press, assembly, and government by the consent of the people.”  I agree!

If we lose and continue to fail to protect our religious freedom, we will watch the nefarious followers of totalitarianism and globalism fully achieve the fundamental transformation of our republic.  We will discover that our inalienable and previously believed untouchable rights have been infringed and rescinded.  The government will have effectively replaced God (not literally but legally), and we will be forced to comply or face the full brunt of the power of the government to suppress us.  That is not the Republic for which we stand!  That is not the Republic created and established by our Founders.  That is not a biblical view that any believer can embrace.

Religious freedom and living according to one’s core convictions were precious to our Founders.  Let me remind you of something that predates the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.  One year before the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Continental Congress passed a resolution exempting individuals with pacifist religious convictions from military conscription.

“As there are some people, who, from religious principles, cannot bear arms in any case, this Congress intend no violence to their consciences, but earnestly recommend it to them, to contribute liberally in this time of universal calamity, to the relief of their distressed brethren in the several colonies, and to do all other services to their oppressed Country, which they can consistently with their religious principles.”

I cite that to declare that our Founders believed one of the most sacred rights was one’s core convictions or religious beliefs.  They understood and held a deep reverence for our inalienable rights and recognized that there was a Creator, and He gave rights that no human government had the authority to tamper with.  Today, that ship sailed long ago, and those in power believe they and they alone have that power.  They are wrong!

Fearing that I am being too lengthy, I must cite two more references and conclude.  In 1789 George Washington, in a letter to the United Baptists in Virginia, promised that he would fight the efforts of the government to threaten religious liberties.  He wrote:  “If I could have entertained the slightest apprehension that the Constitution framed in the Convention, where I had the honor to preside, might possibly endanger the religious rights of any ecclesiastical Society, certainly I would never have placed my signature to it; and if I could now conceive that the general Government might ever be so administered as to render the liberty of conscience insecure, I beg you will be persuaded that no one would be more zealous than myself to establish effectual barriers against the horrors of spiritual tyranny, and every species of religious persecution—For you, doubtless, remember that I have often expressed my sentiment, that every man, conducting himself as a good citizen, and being accountable to God alone for his religious opinions, ought to be protected in worshipping the Deity according to the dictates of his own conscience.”

Previously in 1785, in his Memorial and Remonstrance Against Religious Assessments, James Madison wrote: “The Religion then of every man must be left to the conviction and conscience of every man, and it is the right of every man to exercise it as these may dictate. This right is in its nature an unalienable right…. It is the duty of every man to render to the Creator such homage and such only as he believes to be acceptable to him. This duty is precedent, both in order of time and in degree of obligation, to the claims of Civil Society…. [T]he equal right of every citizen to the free exercise of his Religion according to the dictates of conscience is held by the same tenure with all our other rights. If we recur to its origin, it is equally the gift of nature; if we weigh its importance, it cannot be less dear to us….”

Why are Joe Biden and the Left so hell-bent on destroying our religious freedoms?  I can only speculate, except where they have been open.  I believe it is an admission that they realize that religious freedom, thought, and speech impede their ability to control.  Therefore, it is imperative that we, as Americans, vote out all who hold the views of those who want all religious freedom squashed.  If we lose any of our inalienable rights, we are in danger of losing them all.

THE QUESTION – WHEN, WHAT, WHERE, AND WHY?


Recently I had a conversation with a group of people of diverse political ideologies, and we agreed on little.  We solved none of the world’s problems and yet remained on speaking terms and friends (I use that term loosely).  However, we agreed on a few things, and I believe it could be classified as a significant breakthrough. 

Everyone agreed that the economy is a disaster, but that is not what I am referring to as a breakthrough.  We agreed that the border was creating an untenable condition for the law-abiding, taxpaying public, but I am referring to something else as a breakthrough.  There were a few other things, but one loomed more significant than all the rest.

We all agreed that the federal government, Dr. Fauci, the CDC, the WHO, and many other entities had not been honest with us during the COVID-19 pandemic.  We disagreed on the viability of vaccines, boosters, and treatments. Still, we all agreed that the federal government was duplicitous in reporting on the virus, especially its origin. We did not agree on the source but agreed that the federal government had failed to be forthcoming with the public and had hidden facts that the public deserved to know.  

Included was the concern that there would be additional outbreaks of Wuhan-Style Viruses soon.  We agreed that many of the mandates had the appearance of trial balloons, and bureaucrats and politicians seized upon the opportunity to grab power and control.  Imagine that even some ideological leftists and staunch members of the Donkey Brigade politically agreed.  One even said, “We have been lied to from the start.” 

Have you heard of China’s Frankenvirus experiments?  We know that COVID originated in Wuhan.  We do not fully understand exactly how that transpired and if it was a biological weapon being devised.  I have an opinion; some will insist they have concrete proof, but I do not.  The evidence points to a lab-manufactured virus that was either accidentally or intentionally released.  The preponderous of evidence supports the theory that it was manufactured.

I am confident that China and other world entities have been deeply involved in creating biological viruses. There is no valid reason to do that unless the intent is to use it as a weapon of war.  We also know that China has been conducting research and experiments, one known as “Frankenvirus.”  The genetically modified insects were infected with the virus to study.  Why create a non-existing virus to study?  Why not study actual viruses seeking to find a cure? 

Dr. Shi Zhengli, known as “Batwoman,” was one of the key researchers in China, and it is documented that she supercharged hybrid “Frankenviruses” using HIV in experiments years before COVID.  The manipulation of bugs to make them more infectious to humans was part of that process.  In 2007, she and her colleagues published a paper in the Journal of Virology that showed how viruses could change to attack human cells by splicing them. 

In 2010 her team conducted additional research on how coronaviruses could infect humans by tinkering with the spike protein.  She and her team appear to have been conducting gain-of-function research on coronaviruses in another effort to soup them up and supercharge them just months before the COVID pandemic.  Is that a smoking gun?  It is more like a smoking howitzer.  It would be an invitation to disaster, even if it were not diabolically planned.

Many ethical scientists have called for banning super-bugs that are highly infectious and deadly to humans because of the danger of a lab leak.  If this were part of a diabolical plan to produce a bioweapon, there would be no concern about a leak, for that would give them more proof of their product’s effectiveness.  If there is no concern or value for human life, then this would present no problem for the researchers and those funding or ordering it. 

Lab leaks have been a part of China’s history.  In 1977 the H1N1 flu was believed to have been leaked from the Tianjin, Liaoning, Jilin lab.  In 2004 in Beijing, two SARS lab leaks led to researchers’ hospitalization.  In 2020 in Lanzhou, the Brucellosis leak from a vaccine facility infected at least 6,000 people.  None of this is new, so when playing with deadly viruses in a lab, leaks are not uncommon or unexpected. 

A peer review scientific paper in 2010 suggested that the H1N1 virus reappeared after a twenty-year absence.  These things tend to go dormant, mutate, and reappear, often far more deadly than before.  Those desiring to see the world population reduced by one-fourth to one-third should be ecstatic about the prospects. The only concern is that the bug might bite them too.   That is not part of their plan.

The paper said:  “Genetic analysis indicated that this strain was missing decades of nucleotide sequence evolution, suggesting an accidental release of a frozen laboratory strain into the general population.”  The lab from where the leak could come has been identified.  You guessed it, the Wuhan Institute of Virology.  Why?  Because they have the most extensive collection of horseshoe-bat viruses, the possessors of and closest relatives of COVID. 

In my research, I came across a disturbing tidbit of information on a virus that is reported as potentially 75 times more deadly than the coronavirus and would possibly, if not likely, be the new pandemic the world faces.  It is called the Nipah Virus (Brain Swelling and Deadly).  It was first discovered in 1999 in Malaysia, and the death rate is reported as being between 40 and 75 percent.  That is beyond disturbing! 

There is even a pathogen labeled as ‘Disease X.’  It is said to have a long incubation period and would be worse than the Black Death of previous centuries.  Man’s toying with deadly diseases is opening pandora’s box. Rather than finding a cure, the nefarious who desire to control the world and eliminate entire populations see this as a perfect weapon.

Antibiotic resistance already causes more than 700,000 deaths yearly, with more than 200,000 infants in that number.  However, there are no known drugs for the Nipah virus or Disease X.  It is estimated that there are 1.67 million unknown viruses, and over 800 thousand could affect humans and animals.

In the 1300s, there was the Black Death; up to 200 million died.  In 1918 the Spanish Flu killed twice as many people as WWI, with estimates of up to 100 million.  The Plague of Justinian, believed to be the same bacteria as the Black Death, took over 100 million in 541 and 542 AD.  HIV/AIDs has taken more than 35 million lives since 1981.  The Third Plague (Bubonic) struck China in 1855 and spread, killing over 15 million.  Add to that mix Ebola, SARS, MERS, Rift Valley Fever, and now COVID, and you see our history of deadly viruses. 

What that says to me is not only the diabolical nature of some humans but our need to become totally dependent upon God and return to Him.  I believe that much more dire diseases, pandemics, and disasters are coming. Some of them will transpire naturally without man’s interference in genetics.  Others will be the result of a diabolical plan to control mankind.  In America, we have exorcised God from the public and many of our lives, and when we did, we hung out the open for business and welcome sign to the evil of the satanic.  Dismiss that if you choose, but I believe GOD is our only real hope. 

If we will return to God and make 2 Chronicles 7:14 a cornerstone of our daily lives, I believe we can see divine intervention.  If we do not, we will see plagues, famines, and disasters of epic proportions transpire shortly. I have written a much too-long article, but I am concerned about what is happening and the abject idiocy of our world, especially in politics.  The question of What, When, Where, and Why may not be answerable, but I believe manipulated disaster is coming!

SCOTUS LEAK – Who, What, and Why?


I have an opinion and a sense in my heart of hearts that the leak is designed to subvert the preliminary vote of the court to overturn Roe v Wade and send it back to the individual states.  It is my opinion and a cause for concern, but I believe the leak was a planned coup against the vote of the Constitutionalists on the court.

I believe that this leak came from sources within the inner circle of the SCOTUS, maybe a staffer or aide for a multi-pronged reason.  I do not believe Justice Alito or the other four who signed on to the opinion of the majority leaked this, and if they did, they were either dumb or were looking for a way out of their initial vote. 

I believe the leak came from someone within the information circle of the court to alert the rabid radical leftists and Democrats to engage in what would border on an insurrection.  I suspect the intent was to fan the flames of radicalism and create such confusion and chaos across the nation that some of the justices might be tempted to change their vote. 

However, I believe that there is an even more dangerous and sinister motive.  I believe this was to provide immediate ammunition to the Democrat activists and radicals to demand and possibly secure the abolition of the filibuster in the Senate.  But, beyond that, I suspect this will cause an immediate call if not action by the Leftist to ‘Pack the Court’ with 2 or more justices of radical activist persuasion. 

If the vote stands, as it should constitutionally, it will be referred back to the states and each state’s voting public will decide how they proceed regarding abortion.  While I detest the idea of genocide in abortion and the slaughter of the unborn who are the most vulnerable and innocent of our society, I believe it is a States Rights Issue as are most issues facing us today.

I also suspect that this leak was an attempt to arouse the base of the Democratic Party and ensure that they vote in November.  As the polls stand right now, the Democrats are poised for a shellacking in the mid-term elections, and they must find something that will provide a rallying cry to light the fire in their base.  Is this it?  I do not know, but I can see how it could become a catalyst for more liberal votes in November and a dedicated effort to commit fraud in those elections.  Therefore, I do not believe this leak was from those voting to overturn Roe.

The Democrats have only a few months to generate enthusiasm and create a rift in the GOP and they will pull out all stops.  Dirty tricks, sneaky tactics, and violations of federal law have never prevented corrupt politicians in the past and will not in 2022.  I must state so that no one accuses me of being blind to past violations by the Republicans. I know that there are dirty politicians on both sides of the political aisle.  I would love to see all the corrupt in elected offices shown the door, but I realize that is not going to happen, so I must stand for what I believe and call what I see as I see it.

The leak is being called unprecedented and there are rumors that Chief Justice Roberts is calling for the FBI to investigate the leak. He has and based on recent history, that is a guarantee that the report from their findings will be that it was from the conservatives side of the equation and will give more ammunition for the Left to take extra-constitutional actions in the name of “Saving Our Democracy.”  No one will note that we are a Republic, not a Democracy but the myth and deception will continue.

The case of Dobbs v. Mississippi (2022) gives cause to evaluate whether Roe v. Wade (1973) the legalization of abortion nationwide, can be overruled.  If Roe v. Wade is overturned then, as I stated earlier will revert to the individual states to decide how to proceed within their respective states.  That is how the Constitution intended things to work.  States’ Rights are an issue in this and if the Left manages to Pack the Court with liberal activists, we will no longer be a Republic, but a Statist nation ruled by a political oligarchy that will eventually become a dictatorship.

The Democrats insist that Abortion is a Civil Right.  Of course, they only focus on the Right to Choose of the woman (although that is no longer a politically correct term).  They never focus on the Right to Life for the Unborn Baby in the Womb.  No, they call it a fetus, a blob of tissue, or something to soothe their consciences and speak of the autonomy of the female. 

The leak restores abortion to the forefront of the upcoming elections and will divert attention from all the other pertinent issues and make this a Pro-Life or Pro-Choice election.  I can predict that there will be non-Democrats coerced into voting in such a manner as to show they have no stomach for a moral fight for the Life of the Baby and moral principles. 

I really am not concerned about what anyone thinks of me on this issue, I believe it is an issue and one which the Bible stands for the Right of the Life of that Baby.  There was a choice in most pregnancies to not engage in sex or unprotected sex.  I concur that there are cases of rape, but even then, I must ask, is adoption, not a more humane response than slaughtering the unborn for convenience’s sake or whatever reason? 

I suspect that we will see a massive increase in fundraising for the Left and the fanning of the flames of paranoia and fearmongering will reach a level not yet witnessed in previous elections.  Republicans will be called haters of women, haters of Democracy, haters of the Constitution, and labeled as demons from the pit of hell (a place most of the left do not believe in.) 

The desire for unrestricted abortion on demand at any time during the pregnancy and even post-delivery will become their rallying cry.  I also believe that this could reignite the already motivated Pro-Life voters and we could witness the largest turnout in American history in November. 

I am concerned about the leak for many reasons and since the Democrats follow the Script of Saul Alinsky’s ‘Rules for Radicals’ I suspect we are in for a wild ride throughout the remainder of this year and beyond.  The expressed operational method of “Never let a crisis go to waste” will be the modus operandi of the Left and the idea that “the end justifies the means” will be their motto.  Believing one is superior to others does not make them so but makes them willing to do whatever they desire and justify it in their own minds.

America, we are standing on the brink of the abyss of destruction, the loss of our inalienable and constitutional rights, and our Republic.  I believe that abortion is a violation of the civil rights of the unborn.  I believe that life in the womb is created by God and is the most vulnerable and innocent life that demands we fight to save their lives.  God help us if we fail.
