Please understand I readily acknowledge that there is hypocrisy on both sides of the aisle in Washington, DC but the never-ending hypocrisy of the Democrats is astounding.  I posted a picture with a caption that is accurate and descriptive of the antics, attitudes, and actions of the leftist and the never trump crowd.  The caption read: “At this point, if President Trump cured cancer liberals would complain that he is taking work from the grim reaper.”  That is terrible but is being manifest in today’s political climate.

I won’t attempt to go into the long list of Democrats and Liberals who argued before and after the election that FBI Director James Comey should be fired.  They wanted his head.   They blamed him for Hillary’s loss and expressed that he had overstepped his boundaries, violated his oath of office, and may have committed crimes in the process.  NOW, he is suddenly transformed into sainthood and is such an honorable, adept, and efficient officer of the court.  SERIOUSLY?  I understand that you do not like Donald Trump and had he fired James Comey on the very day that Senator Schumer and the myriad of other Democrat politicians called for his ouster, they would have railed against the firing.  The only way James Comey could have been ousted without them crying foul would have been for Barack Obama to have fired him or Hillary to have won and fired him.  THEN, they would have deemed his being fired as just and the right thing to do.  WHO fired him is more their focus that his being fired.  Their outcries and antics reveal a level of hypocrisy that exposes the greater problem in Washington than anything President Trump might or might not have done or does.

The ludicrous rambling of Senator Elizabeth Warren, a presidential wannabe is sickening and the fact that many who drink at the trough of the Leftist will agree and accept her assertion without thought or examination.  She said that President Trump’s firing of Director Comey showed the President’s “disregard for the rule of law.”  Could we back up just a wee bit Senator Warren and consider how your fearless leader Barack Obama repeatedly “ignored and disregarded the rule of law.”  He used Executive Fiat to bypass the Constitution and Congress and even the courts agreed that he had gone beyond his legal limitations.  Is that not “disregarding the rule of law?”  When Loretta Lynch met with Bill Clinton on the tarmac just hours before the FBI released its statement on the Hillary email scandal was that not “disregarding the rule of law.”  When Attorney General Eric Holder declared that he would not prosecute the New Black Panthers who stood outside polling places in their full militant regalia with Billy Clubs to deter voters, was that not a “disregard for the rule of law?”  The list is almost endless of times that the Democrats have demonstrated “disregard for the rule of law.”  Is it not a bit hypocritical for you to accuse Donald Trump in this manner when even the Democrats just days before his action wanted Director Comey gone?  The continued insistence that this is to prevent a full and complete investigation in the Trump administration’s connection to the Russians in the 2016 election.  The CIA, NSA, and FBI have all said there is no evidence of collusion but the Democrats won’t let it drop.  WHY?  Casting dispersion and raising doubt is their only hope and they are tireless in their pursuit of the destruction of Donald Trump.

Chris Matthews views President Trump as a tyrannical hybrid of some historic “strongman” in the vein of despots of history.  He fans the flame of the “Trump Derangement Syndrome” and marches to the drum of liberal leftist rhetoric that Donald Trump is the most serious and dangerous threat to America today.  Sadly, there are millions who believe or want to believe that distortion and diabolically politically motivated assertion.  It is interesting that Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz expressed his belief that President Trump was within his rights to fire Director Comey and that the cries for a ‘special prosecutor’ into the possible collusion of the Trump Administration and the Russians unnecessary.

There are some, including myself, that believe that FBI Director James Comey was fired for “just cause”.  James Comey, in my view, tarnished any reputation the FBI might have when he ignored the evidence, disregarded the law and refused to allow a Grand Jury to fully evaluate the evidence in the Clinton email scandal.  It was a sham, called an investigation.  Director Comey insisted that there was no reason to go after Hillary and later after her chief aid Huma Abedin because of the “lack of intent” or “knowledge that a crime was being committed.”  SERIOUSLY?  Try that in court if you are accused of a crime and see how far it gets you.  The Statute that Comey supposedly used does not allow for INTENT to be the determining factor.  He should have, as any honest and ethical law enforcement officer pursued the evidence, presented it, and let the chips fall where they might. HE DID NOT and that was a “disregard for the rule of law.”  He usurped the authority of the DOJ but a DOJ that would never have sought the prosecution of Hillary Clinton.  All reasons and justification for his firing.  The Swamp is now in turmoil and the drum is beating loudly “Impeach, Impeach, Impeach.”  The Democrats will not rest until they have made that a reality.  Impeachment is not conviction and ouster but it is damaging to any President and they want damage for political purposes as they focus on 2018 and 2020.  They believe that if they continue this HATE and WAR on Trump they will regain the House and Senate in 2018 and the White House in 2020.  God help us if that becomes a reality.

James Comey’s firing is just one of many examples of HYPOCRISY by the Left and it will not end with this.  Tomorrow will bring a new objection and the day after that another and another and another.  They have vowed to continue this WAR for the full four years of Donald Trump’s term of office.  This is a condition that reveals a problem in America that if we do not rectify will destroy our Republic.  I say to the Democrats and the Never Trump Crowd, Donald Trump is not the problem the refusal to accept a peaceful transfer of power is.  Additionally, the willingness to destroy to gain your objective or to satisfy your thirst for his blood is a far greater problem than his over the top brashness.  We have severe threats from without and within that require all of us to WORK TOGETHER for the Good of the Republic not attempt to defend our position, power, and fill our purses.  America is worth more than any political party or personal preferences.  Love me or hate me, I want and am willing to Work for America and I will work with anyone who truly wants America’s Best.
