We are nearing the final decision time for America in the 2020 elections. What we do in this election will, in my view, determine the fate and future of America. Could we survive if the Democrats win the White House, keep the House of Representatives, and reclaim the Senate? Possibly, but at what cost and what would be left to recover and work with after the disaster that would ensue? I am deeply concerned that the destruction seen under Obama would appear minuscule compared to the cataclysmic destruction to our Republican form of government.
When I say Republican form of government, I have people say, “Well, I’m not a Republican.” Hey, Alice, this is not Wonderland and I am not talking about a political party but a system of government. I am speaking of being a Republic versus being a Direct Democracy, a Totalitarian Dictatorship, a Monarchy, or any other form. It is what our founders established, and it has proven to be the best system of government known to man. I am not suggesting that it is better than God’s Kingdom and Rule but of the governments established by man, it is the best and one all should desire to maintain and preserve. Sadly, the indoctrinated by liberalism do not, and I believe that is out of historic ignorance.
There are many who blast me regarding how I vote and that I have and will again vote for Donald John Trump and the Republicans. They claim that I am abandoning principles when I do. I believe it is the reverse and I am standing on principles and seeking to preserve the Republic.
A Never Trumper accused me of being a cultist and a worshipper of the man from New York, Donald Trump. I am neither. I am, first and foremost, a Christian. I am an American (natural born) and a lover of this country and freedom. I am a Vietnam veteran, a patriot, a conservative, a constitutionalist, and one who believes in limited government. I believe that our Inalienable Rights, given by God not the government, must be protected and preserved. I vote in a way that gives us the best chance of achieving those objectives.
I borrowed something from a Facebook Friend, Dennis Goose Lansberry, and adapted it to detail why I vote as I vote. I hope it resonates with you because we need millions to turn out in force on the first Tuesday of November and VOTE for AMERICA!
When I am quizzed, challenged, even castigated for voting for Donald Trump, I sometimes hear things like Dennis listed. I have been challenged by fellow ministers, Christians, Democrats, and those on the Right who so deeply detest Donald Trump. They will say something like, “I can’t believe that you would vote for such a narcissistic, evil, jerk. How can you maintain any semblance of integrity and maintain your faith by voting for a person that your children could never look up to?” I resist, asking the same question about Obama, Clinton (both), and Biden.
They usually continue saying, “If you are for Trump, you are a racist, un-Christian, a bigot, homophobic, Islamophobic, xenophobic, stupid, and supporting evil.” Of course, they ignore the good Trump has done. They ignore the fact that God has used people of less than pristine integrity and character to benefit His people and purposes. They ignore the many kinks in the armor of the Democrats past and present. It is all about Trump and their animosity toward him. Facts are inconsequential and reality is missing in their analysis.
I do not bring up the personalities of the Democratic candidates past or present. I could talk about Benghazi. I could talk about the sexual impropriety of Biden and Bill Clinton including Clinton’s time on Epstein Island. I could bring up the blatant misuse of government agencies to target political opponents as did Obama, Clinton, and Biden. I could talk about Chinese money or Ukrainian deals afforded Hunter Biden through Joe’s position as Vice President. I could talk about many things, but I try to stick to reality and facts. That usually infuriates them even further.
I vote for Policy, Platform and that is a vote for my Principles. Let me offer the following small list for your consideration:
✝️ I’m voting for the right to praise my God.
🔫 I’m voting for the Second Amendment.
🇺🇸 I’m voting for capitalism and the American Dream.
🚔 I’m voting for the Police, and for law and order.
🇺🇸 I’m voting for the military and the veterans who fought for and died for this country.
🗣 I’m voting for the right to speak my opinion and not be censored.
🏗 I’m voting for secure borders.
👶🏻 I’m voting for every unborn life.
🇺🇸 I’m voting for the Flag that is always missing from the Democratic Party.
❤️ I’m voting for good and against evil.
✝️ I’m voting for one nation under God.
When you attack my Christianity, patriotism, morals, and ethics with your vitriol I ask that you consider the many things that are hanging in the balance in this election and then tell me that I am not voting correctly. I was born and raised in America and taught to fear God, love America, value freedom, and respect everyone’s right to believe what they choose and to say what they believe.
I see this election as a referendum on America and argue that Trump is not the cause of the riots, looting, lawlessness, and mayhem that has been going on for months. No, it has been going on for the entire time he has been in office. The Democrats are causing the destruction of America and if allowed to reclaim control of the government they will infringe upon our liberties and rights and systematically strip America of her founding pillars.
I want limited government, not more government. I want lower taxes not higher taxes. I want freedom of speech, assembly, and religion for everyone, not just the politically correct. I want the right to keep and bear arms kept intact. I want to ensure that the Supreme Court will not be packed with political activist leftist jurist which would guarantee that the federal government becomes our lord and master. I bow to God, not man. I will resist the ‘fundamental transformation’ and the destruction of America. You must decide what and why you vote as you do.
I, Roy Beaird, a Christian, and an American Patriot, lover of God and Freedom declare that I vote as I vote based on Policy, Platform, and Agenda, not Personality. That means I am voting my Principles! I stand unashamedly for Faith, Family, and Freedom and therefore voted NO on the Democrats in an early vote and will do so in every election in the future unless they dramatically change their ideological views.
God bless you and let’s keep America the America of our Founding in November! I request your help in making it so!
