I am serious, asking about politicians being Chameleons.  They seem to have the ability or propensity to adapt to their current surroundings and either become invisible or change their projected core values with regularity.  It seems that some members of the House of Representatives and the United States Senate are more parasitic than beneficial. 

Someone defined the word politics in this manner – “Politics: “Poli” a Latin word meaning “many” and “tics” meaning “bloodsucking creatures”.”  It seems that too frequently that definition is apropos and fitting.  I remember hearing most of my life, “If the shoe fits, wear it.”  So, I say to the politicians and the followers of the Chameleons, “if the reality bites, rub it, wake up and remove the parasites and interlopers.”

There are far more than two members of the GOP who could rightly be called “in name only” members of that party but two that Nancy Pelosi is using are Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) and Liz Cheney (R-WY).  Pelosi added them to her partisan investigation that can rightly be called a set-up to damage Donald Trump should he seek to run in 2024.  Secondarily, she and the Left are desirous of polluting the waters of public opinion sufficiently so that the GOP has little chance of reclaiming the House and Senate in the mid-term elections. 

If Americans are eating the green cheese from the moon, dodging the flying pigs, and riding on the unicorns they just may buy what the Chameleons are selling.  I keep telling myself that nobody is that dumb.  However, I have heeded the advice of whoever said, “Stop asking how stupid can you be? They are taking it as a challenge.”  I do not believe that all politicians are as severely deficient in brain cells as sometimes seems, but some are, and I won’t take time to name them.

The investigation of the events of January 6, 2021, might be warranted if it was a legitimate attempt to discover or uncover the truth.  However, with the many irregularities involving the DC Police, the FBI, and a myriad of other intelligence and law enforcement agencies it is questionable.  Couple that with the complicity or seeming complicity of Pelosi’s office, the Mayor of DC, and others in Washington, it has an odor that is not aromatic.

Where were the investigations and outcry when Puerto Rican nationalists opened fire from the House gallery and wounded five congressmen on the floor of the House?  When was that?  It was March 1, 1954.  Three men and one woman entered the visitor’s gallery above the chamber and quietly took their seats.  All four belonged to the Puerto Rican Nationalist Party and had traveled from New York City to Washington just hours earlier.  They wanted an independent Puerto Rico.  Puerto Rico had been annexed by the United States in 1898 and these nationalists disliked that status.

What about the 1968 riots where national guardsmen lined the steps of the Capitol armed with automatic weapons?  That event transpired after the assignation of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  What about the events of 1998 when a crazed gunman invaded the Capitol and shot to death two Capitol Police officers?  I would be remiss if I failed to mention the protests and violence during the Vietnam War and the more recent events in support of Black Lives Matter. 

The Capital, unlike the claims of Pelosi, Romney, and the consortium of Democrats and RINOs or Republicans seeking public approval and to demonstrate their Anti-Trump sentiment, has experienced breaches.  I am not downplaying the events of January 6^th but to call it the worst thing since whatever is ludicrous.  The reality that some of the lead figures in the breech of the Capitol were not even at Trump’s speech but already at the Capitol should raise questions.

I agree with Newt Gingrich regarding the antics and unconstitutional actions of Speaker Pelosi.  He said, “As a 20-year member of Congress and four-year Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, let me speak bluntly and directly.  Speaker Nancy Pelosi is the greatest threat to constitutional liberty in our lifetime.  With the passive support of an apparently cowardly caucus, she is behaving as a dictator more like Fidel Castor, Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin, or Nicolas Maduro.”  Speaker Gingrich, I applaud your willingness to step forward and make this assertion.  I agree, you may or may not, that is your choice.

In my view, this is what can rightly be called a Show Trial.  I borrow the definition from Wikipedia: A show trial is a public trial in which the judicial authorities have already determined the guilt, and/or innocence, of the defendant. The actual trial has as its only goal the presentation of both the accusation and the verdict to the public so they will serve as both an impressive example and a warning to other would-be dissidents or transgressors. Show trials tend to be retributive rather than corrective and they are also conducted for propagandistic purposes. The term was first recorded in 1928.

I have contended that there are some Republicans that are a threat to our system of government and our Representative Democracy.  The Democrats, en masse, rallied around the Russian Collusion hoax and the Republicans were severely divided.  The documented evidence debunking the claims did not deter the Democrats and the Republicans rather than rallying around the Trump agenda dug their heels in the dirt and resisted. This allowed further erosion of our foundational fabric and weakened our system of government.

COVID has been weaponized and that was the work of the Left and some on the Right.  Please note, COVID is real and real people have died as a result.  One would be too many but many more than one has died.  The scandals under Obama should have been exposed and investigated but the Republicans sat on their hands and allowed the Democrats to continue.  Now the scandals and dangers posed by the Biden administration demand investigation but there is and will be none.

How do the Republicans justify the silence of far too many within their party?  How do they justify their playing to the galleries but when push came to shove went into hiding?  How do they justify theatrics over substance?  When the Republicans could have acted on Hunter and Joe Biden’s involvement in Ukraine, China, and now his art scandal they opted for silence and cowardice. 

At the G7 meeting, French premier Emmanuel Marcon called Joe Biden a ‘part of the club.’  That is part of the problem, he is and when American needs to stand strong and stand for dismantling the ‘old boy system of global cronyism’ Biden has his hands in the till.  The club is part of the reason there is inaction by Republicans they too are members of the club and do not want to kill the goose that lays their golden eggs.  America and Americans be damned, full speed ahead to power and profit for individual politicians.

The Durham report should have been released and should have exposed much corruption, possibly on both sides of the political aisle, but then AG Barr appears to be a member of the same club and kept it under wraps.  Will it ever see the light of day?  Not if the Democrats and Republicans who are Club Members have their way. 

Thus, I ask again, “Are Politicians Chameleons?”  If they are, and I believe they are, what do we do about it?  We have several choices and armed rebellion is not my recommendation.  Voting in a bloc to oust the Swamp denizens, Deep State adherents, and Statist is necessary.  We will have to out vote the fraud and illegal votes, but it is possible if ALL who love freedom, fear God, and believe in moral sanity will band together.  That will never happen UNLESS we see a massive return to God, with deep personal and national repentance, and much prayer!  Will you join me in this effort?
