BLOG POST 8 - Nose and Face

I’m sure most have heard the phrase, “Don’t cut your nose off to spite your face.”  It is documented that the phrase has been used since the 12th Century and may have been used even before that.  Some legends report it as the result of an actual event by the nun, Saint Elba, the Mother Superior of the monastery of Coldingham Priory in 867 AD when Vikings from Zealand and Uppsala landed in Scotland.  She reportedly instructed the nuns to disfigure themselves in an attempt to appear unappealing to the Vikings.  Her solution was to cut off her nose and upper lip and the nuns followed her example.  Thus, the birth of the phrase was born, so it is reported.  It became a blanket term directed at what was deemed unwise and self-destructive actions often motivated by anger, desire for revenge, and hate.  There were reported incidents where a man would become so angered by his wife that he would burn down their house to punish her.  The lunacy of that action is clear.  In burning down the house to punish his wife he also punished himself and the rest of the family.

The Democrats and those Republicans, Conservatives, and those identifying as Constitutionalist who are part of the resistance and Never Trump movement seem to be doing just that, “cutting off their noses to spite their faces.”  Their desire to punish Trump and rid themselves of their nemesis and perceived menace is prodding them to actions and positions that not only could hurt Trump but EVERYONE!  That is absolutely insane in my humble opinion.  When celebrities, Democrats, Media Talking Heads, and those not Democrats who are filled with animosity toward this president can openly pine for our economy to fail, is that not an example of this flawed logic?  Are they so insulated from economic conditions they will not suffer if our economy goes in the tank?  Are they so insulated from the threat of terrorism that should our borders be thrown open and terrorist openly and freely enter this nation, they will not be endangered?  Are they so insulated and isolated that in advancing the idea of censorship, the loss of our 1st, 2nd, and 4th Amendment Rights they will never suffer the tyranny of whatever despotic powers that gain oversight of the nation?  I believe their actions are a clear example of “Cutting off their nose to spite their face.”  In hurting Trump and anyone who voted for or supports him they hurt themselves too.  That is lunacy!

Freedom of Speech must be Freedom for Everyone or it is Freedom for No One!  Our Inalienable Rights cannot be stripped away from some, whom we disagree without opening the door to the loss of those rights for everyone.  If anyone is so naïve as to believe that Politicians, Oligarchs, and Despots will honor those who helped them gain power and afford them the Rights they have destroyed for others, I weep for that person.  If we allow the assault on the 2nd Amendment to come to the fruition desired by the Leftists and Liberals of America, we will find that EVERYONE is placed in greater danger.  The Right of Self-Defense is not simply a Constitutional Right it is an Inalienable Right and one that MUST be protected in order to protect the other rights and freedoms we now enjoy.  The Right to Pursue Happiness and Worship according to the dictate of our hearts in a peaceable fashion and the Right to have and voice an opinion MUST be protected or we will plunge into the abyss of Tyranny where the only rights allowed are those deemed by the State or Despotic Head of the nation.  That is “cutting off the nose to spite the face” and it is ludicrous.

When I consider the options in our current electoral process I consider a vote that enables the Left to reclaim power or control of Congress an exercise in “cutting off the nose to spite the face.”  Millions refused to vote for Mitt Romney in 2012 resulting in Barack Obama being awarded a Second Term as President.  Those millions were, “sending a message”, so they declared and were willing to allow Obama a Second Term rather than vote for a candidate they did not like.  That, in my view, was “cutting off the nose to spite the face.”  Who was harmed by that action?  Not simply Mitt Romney or the Republican Party but EVERYONE or the vast majority of Americans not on the dole.  The Entitlement Crowd may be deemed to have benefitted from Obama’s Second Term but not America.  The sponsors of Terrorism and the Islamic Terrorist benefitted from his Second Term but not America.  BUT, millions decided that in order to express their dissatisfaction in the General Election they would “cut off their noses to spite their faces.”  Patriots and lovers of Freedom the time to send a message is in the Primaries, not the General Election if we want to keep America from plunging further into the darkness of Socialism, Liberalism, and Globalism.

I am 100% behind any effort to defeat the RINOs in the Primaries and to award the nomination to candidates who stand on the principles that made America the Great Nation she has been.  I am 100% behind seeking and electing candidates who are truly Constitutionalist and will staunchly defend and stand for the Rule of Law in the Primaries.  I am not saying abandon all principles and violate your conscience in the General Election but consider the consequences of our actions.  We must avoid, “cutting off our noses to spite our faces” in allowing the Liberal Leftists to regain power and continue the “fundamental transformation” that Barack Obama declared was his objective.  We must prevent the continued erosion of our Constitutional Rights and its recognized place and authority in our Republic.  I believe that doing anything other than DEFEATING THE LEFTIST in 2018 and beyond qualifies as “cutting off our nose to spite our face” because the harm is to EVERYONE, not just those we want to hurt.

If you are so filled with hate or hold to such opposition of this President that you are willing to do harm to America and yourself in order to defeat him, I ask that you stop and think of the consequences.  Who are you hurting?  You are hurting all of us and I beg you to reconsider that position.  America, we dare not “cut off our nose to spite our face” if we hope to fully restore Constitutionality to the Republic, Drain the Swamp to any measurable degree, and Dismantle the Deep State.  If we truly want Limited Government, then let’s prevent the Democrats and Leftists from reclaiming power in 2018 and then become devotedly and doggedly engaged in the effort to find, nominate, and elect true American Patriots in 2020 and begin the marathon of RESTORATION.  We can do this, but it will require us to stop self-destruction.  Some will protest and call me vile names even accuse me of being part of a Trump Cult but if you honestly evaluate what I am saying you will realize that I am PRO-AMERICA and willing to do whatever I can to protect and defend this Republic.

BLOG POST 7 - Unforgivable

Donald Trump has committed the Unpardonable Sin, in the minds of Democrats and Never Trumpers.  What is that sin?  Not it is not the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, for most of the Democrat politicians seem to have no interest or knowledge of the Bible.  So, what is his sin?  What is his crime for which he must be impeached?  His crime:  Obstruction of Liberalism.  That is the worst possible sin in the minds of those following the toxic brand of liberalism, progressivism, socialism, and globalism.  THAT IS UNFORGIVABLE and UNPARDONABLE!  Well, to them but not to millions of us who want that to transpire.

They are befuddled because he does not play the political game like previous Republicans and those in Congress.  He does not run from his own shadow as certain members of Congress and former administrations.  He has achieved some very impressive things despite the lack of support by members of his own party in Congress.  One of his accomplishments has been to virtually dismantle and obliterate the Obama Legacy and expose it for what it truly is.  Republicans claimed to want that, but the members of the House and Senate who are part of the RINO resistance and Never Trump coalition never meant what they said.  They made those promises and claims to elicit votes and win election or reelection.  Someone said, “Silence is golden, but when your Freedom is at stake it is yellow.”  Sadly, too many are exposing the yellowness of their spine rather than goldenness.

The Left believes that the policies they embrace are a birthright.  They believe that the Constitution is an antiquated dinosaur that must be revised, reinterpreted, removed, and ignored.  It, as lamented, the former president “prevents them from doing what they want.”  THANK GOD!  Liberalism has become a religion and a type of opioid that drugs the liberal mind to the point that they can worship at no other altar and pursue no other objective.  Never mind the failures of their policies and agenda.  Never mind the inadequacy of their ideological pursuits.  Never mind, the damage it does to the Republic – IT MUST BE OBEYED or ELSE!

The Left and too many on the Right are left in shock at the failure of the Leftists, the activist, the MSM, Hollywood, etc. to shake Trump from his agenda.  He is accused of being incoherent and unfocused but when I consider what has happened in less than two years under his administration that claim seems a bit out of step with reality.  They cannot understand how this non-politician’s behavior is not dictated by the opinion of others especially the Democrats and media.  He does not embrace the Code of Politics that seems to be an unwritten law in Washington, adhered to by both Republicans and Democrats.  He came from the outside and he has become their mortal enemy.  Their hate of anyone and anything that dares to refuse to worship at the altar of liberalism and Donald Trump has refused, thus far.  They take out their hate on anyone surrounding him, his nominees, and every policy he puts forth.  It does not matter that the Tax Cuts have given new life to the Economy.  Their objective and agenda are to REMOVE TRUMP first and focuses on America second, if at all.  His campaign slogan and motto, “Make America Great Again” is so infuriating to them some, like Andrew Cuomo declares, “America was never that great” or Meghan McCain, “America was always great.”  Acknowledging his accomplishments is beyond them.

The Left and some on the Right have decried his tariffs and insisted they would destroy the economy.  Amazingly, jobless claims fell to a new post-1969 record of 203,000 recently.  His trade negotiations with China and others seem to be opening the door to new agreements that are good for America.  However, the Left finds it impossible to give him credit for his business acumen and his resolve to address issues with America’s interest at the forefront.  NOPE, He is not one of them, and is impeding their progress, therefore, HE MUST BE DESTROYED!

They find it impossible to acknowledge a Truth that Conservatives and Constitutionalist have believed for a long time, Lowering Taxes does increase revenue.  It has provided nearly one-third of a trillion dollars in six months after the cuts in investment in employee training and infrastructure by American companies.  THAT IS AMAZING and worthy of praise.  The federal government collected a record $1.3 TRILLION in income taxes through the first nine months of FY18, beating the previous record by $71 BILLION.  THAT IS AMAZING!  Who knew that about half of all Americas were Nazis before he won the White House.  ABSURD, of course by that is the position of the Leftists.

Another inconvenient truth is that the Racism problem is the Left’s problem, not the Right.  Before you scream obscenities at me, take a look at who is spouting the Racist Comments and ascribing to Racist positions.  It is not the Right, by and large, but the Left, almost totally.  President Trump’s approval rating among Blacks has soared to 36% which is unheard of for any Republican since possible Abraham Lincoln.  His support among Hispanics has climbed an impressive 10 percentage points since summer, even while he and his family have incurred some brutal and heartless criticism and accusations.  The problem for the Left is Trump’s sound economic policies that benefit EVERYONE are hard to tear apart and people on both sides of the aisle (the rank and file) are realizing this is GOOD and WANT MORE.

Also, if anyone still argues there is no Deep State and Political Swamp in America they are surely blind and incapable of cognitive thought, but some of those exist.  When we consider the incredible corruption and collusion by the loyalist to Hillary and the Democratic Party in the FBI, CIA, IRS, DOJ, and State Department we cannot ignore the reality of the Deep State’s existence.  Trump has stirred up that hornet’s nest and the Hornets are determined to sting him to death.  The Russian collusion fabrication is a fraud and farce, yet, Mueller and his team continue and will continue UNTIL they find something to discredit Trump or fabricate it or UNTIL the GOP develops enough spine or Jeff Sessions does his job and says ENOUGH of this madness.

America has been Great and can be Great again and even Greater than at any time in our history.  Donald Trump with all his bluster, bravado, flying thumbs, and shooting from the lip has been good for America economically.  He has been good for America regarding securing our borders and in our dealings with foreign governments.  He has been good for the cause of protecting our Freedoms and Liberties.  Is he flawless?  ABSOLUTELY NOT!  He is a flawed vessel but protecting our Freedoms, defending the Constitution, and restoring America to her rightful place in the world and making life better for all Americas is in his heart.  I believe that, even if you do not.  I believe that He loves America, unlike the most recent president who preceded him.

We have the choice of allowing America to fall into the hands of the Left who want to complete the task of ‘fundamental transformation’ or we can elect Republicans and prevent the Blue Wave and the Government takeover they desire.  I stand firmly on the side of Faith, Family, and Freedom and ask that you join those of us who have taken that stance.  REMEMBER NOVEMBER and make the wave RED not BLUE.

BLOG POST 6 - Skunk

I never cease to be amazed at the Liberal Leftist Socialist Progressive mindset in American politics.  I am daily appalled at the covert and overt attempts of those following the toxicity of liberalism in driving wedges between sectors of our society in order to gain an edge.  We have endured the “fair share” and “share the wealth” mantra, rhetoric, and diatribe for so long, most seem to accept it as normal rather.  America, “the rich” are not your enemy simply because they are rich, nor are they your friend based on that criterion.  If they are your enemy or your friend, it is because of who and what they are individually not as a class of people.  I, for one, am happy that we have a system of economics that enables people to become rich and even what some call ‘filthy rich.’  I am not one of those individuals monetarily but believe me I AM RICH.  I’m rich in my faith, my family, my friends, and my sense of self-esteem.  I have riches that NO ONE, no government or individual can strip from me.  You may impoverish me, restrict my freedom, and describe me in the basest of terms but you WILL NEVER take my Joy or my sense of Liberty and my Internal Riches.  But, that is another story for another time.

I have determined in my heart that the Liberal Leftist Socialist Progressives, especially the national Democrats, have never met a tax they did not like.  But, that would go with the ideological territory of ‘freebies’, ‘entitlements’, and the desire to ‘buy votes’ and ‘loyalty’ to their agenda and cause.  They must have MONEY and since the government does not make a dime the only money the politicians must use for their schemes is OUR MONEY and they acquire it via TAXATION, FINES, and LEVIES!  It has been so long since we had taxation with representation, I’m not sure it is even a possibility any longer.  We elect people who make promises to represent us in Washington only to find that they are more interested in their bottom line, cronyism, personal power, and becoming a lifetime member of the ‘ole boy network.’  I don’t know if they have secret classes on the process or not, but they all seem to be cut from the same cloth.

Something that smacked me in the face recently was the latest attempt of the Liberal Leftist to rebrand the so-called ‘Sin Taxes’ as ‘Health Taxes.’  WHAT IS THAT?  I laughed when they branded it a Tax on Sin but am completely perplexed by the new idea that it is a Tax on Health or a Tax to have Health.  Whichever descriptor they might mean and which goal they are aiming.  I doubt they know either.  I’m quite sure this is just another way to make the distasteful more palatable and their hope is that it will resonate with the voters and be embraced.  The taxes on alcoholic beverages (sin tax) is being rebranded as a health tax.  I’m not making this up.  This is the brain-child of Leftists such as New York Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, and other prominent Democrats.  They claim that higher taxes on alcohol, tobacco will reduce the consumption of those products.  SERIOUSLY?  No, the reality is that rather than reducing usage but creates a heavier burden on those on the lower end of the economic spectrum.

How many people do you know who drink, smoke, etc. that quit because of the higher rate of taxation?  I would venture very few if any.  Who do those taxes hurt?  Not the rich, they can afford to pay the tax.  It hurts the poor and tragically many of them provide a lower quality or quantity of food and medicine for themselves and their families in order to enable them to continue their consumption of the former items under the “Sin Tax” umbrella.  How is that a good thing?  Understand, I am not advocating for people to abuse alcohol or use products that are harmful to them physically.  The desired stigma of consuming a product subject to the “Sin Tax” never materialized and now to rebrand it as a “Health Tax” is ludicrous if not laughable.

What happens if you tax a product to the point that people have difficulty obtaining it?  In the case of alcohol, you brighten the prospects of “illegal booze” such as moonshine because it is “untaxed.”  The inherent dangers of the nectar of the moonshine are enormous.  Creating a Tax Structure that beckons “black markets” is economically negative.  I am convinced, and statistics will prove me right, that the worst abusers of alcohol, those who consume the most and inflict the most costs on society, are IMMUNE from Sin Taxes.  They don’t care!  They want what they want and will do whatever it takes to get it.  Rather than being promoted in the interest of health or a reduction in the consumption of those products, politicians have a propensity to determine the level of “Sin Taxes” or “Health Taxes” based on the size of the budgetary hole they wish to plug.

Those taxes have a price tag for society and government that the politicians cannot calculate and ignore.  The true cost of those taxes on society and the government are usually hidden by the politicians because revealing them would expose their hypocrisy.  I saw an illustration that is apropos.  If a man punches someone in the face and does serious bodily injury, the police will charge him with assault.  But if that same man had a couple of beers before the incident, it would be recorded by the police and media as an alcohol-related assault.  The question is, “did the two beers actually have any real bearing on the incident?”  Possibly but probably not.  However, it would allow the authorities to facilitate their argument to “Tax” consumption as a deterrent to violence, etc.

The government has a long history of trying to spin their confiscation of our money as being in our best interest and for our own good.  I wonder when they will decide we need to have our pay sent directly to them and they then dole out the portion they decide we need or deserve?  Taxation is, in the truest sense, is legal theft by government.  Is not our money, our property?  Is taking people’s property without their consent theft?  Before you argue that we agreed to the Income Tax via the Sixteenth Amendment.  It was adopted on February 3, 1913, and in my view is one of the worst amendments we have allowed to our American Constitution.  American history before Congress enacted the income tax in 1913 (first imposed the following year) demonstrates that the federal government was able to pay its bills, keep the nation largely out of debt, and respect the privacy of American citizens. Even during wartime, Congress had a method of imposing direct war taxes that respected states’ rights and American citizens’ privacy. I suggest you do a bit of study and see how we operated and I believe you just might realize that we were more efficient and honored the idea that ‘personal property’ was considered sacred to our founders and framers.  The Income Tax has allowed the government to expand its intrusion into our lives and control more and more of every segment of society.

 Sin or Health Taxes are simply extensions of the government’s insatiable thirst for OUR MONEY and thereby TOTAL CONTROL of our lives.  That is another reason that I VOTE NO on the Liberal Leftist in each election and will do so again in November 2018.  I ask that you consider joining me in sending a message to Washington – ENOUGH!

BLOG POST 5 - Gun Control

I’ve said it before and I say it again, “The Objective, Agenda, and Plan of the Leftists Liberal Socialist Globalist Progressive Democrats is GUN CONFISCATION!”  They are smart enough to know that trying to use government, law enforcement, or even the military to go door-to-door in a massive confiscation effort would result in full-blown war.  Therefore, they are trying back-door tactics that the Media is not talking about, politicians are deaf, dumb, and mute, and few even know it is happening, but it is.

Have you heard of ‘Corporate Gun Control’?  Before, you blast me as a lunatic and conspiracist hear me out, research this for yourself and then present your arguments or take the appropriate action.  Hopefully, we can stir the pot for enough people that we will ensure the defeat of the Leftists this November but if not, then hopefully we can beat the drum loud enough that many will awaken before November 2020.  I sometimes feel like I’m shouting to myself in a closed room with no one around, but I keep trying because I consider the Second Amendment first in essentials for keeping all the Rights recognized by our American Constitution and Bill of Rights.  You can detest the current president to the point that you cede some of your inalienable rights, but that dog won’t hunt for me.  I make no argument that President Trump is a saint and without flaws, failures, and shortcoming.  His checkered history and membership in the ‘cut-throat’ business community and his moral failings may make him so undesirable and unacceptable to you that you cannot see the inherent dangers in allowing the Leftists to regain power, but I hope you stop and muse on the matter long enough to truly count the costs of your position and actions.  I ask nothing more of you.

Before I talk about what ‘Corporate Gun Control’ is and how it is currently and designed to operate let me say, this is another of the myriad of reasons we MUST HAVE conservative originalist on the Supreme Court.  I believe that confirming Brett Kavanaugh to the SCOTUS might well be a death blow to the draconian forms of ‘gun control’ proposed, designed, and desired by the Leftists.   If we can somehow increase the number of ‘red states’ and see state legislatures enact more uniform constitutional laws regarding ‘concealed’ and ‘constitutional’ carry of firearms as well as protecting our ‘right to keep and bear arms’ we can place another roadblock in the path of the diabolical plan to ‘rid America of guns’ as is the desire of the Left.

However, there is something happening outside of government that is possibly the most sinister we have witnessed and demonstrates the length those embracing toxic liberalism are willing to go.  What they are attempting, and proposing is cut from the same cloth as imposing their will regarding ‘climate change’ on businesses and individuals.  What is happening as a forerunner of a full-blown effort is seen in the banking and communication industries.  Citigroup took an action in March of 2018 that few even knew about and some might say, “Roy, this is benign, so don’t worry about it.”  What did they do?  They announced a new policy prohibiting the sale of firearms to customers who have not passed a background check or who are younger than 21.  It also bars the sale of bump stocks and high-capacity magazines.  What that means is their clients who offer credit cards backed by Citigroup or borrow money, use banking services or raise capital through the company MUST COMPLY with those demands.  They are telling business what they can and cannot do in order to get their money, use their credit services, etc.

Bank of America joined the attack on the so-called ‘assault weapons’ declaring that they will stop lending money to gun manufacturers that make ‘military-inspired’ firearms for civilian use, such as the AR-15-style rifles that have been used in some of the mass shootings.  Facebook has restricted any links to a website called codeisfreespeech.com, which contains downloadable plans for a number of entirely legal firearms, including the 3D-printable firearms at the heart of the Obama war with Cody Wilson.  YouTube has instituted its own restrictions and prohibits any content that “intends to sell” firearms. Reddit has banned certain gun forums.  But let’s not omit Amazon Web Services which has removed codeisfreespeech.com from its web servers and Shopify denies space for ‘the kind of products intended to harm.’

What they want to do is place such economic pressure on businesses large and small as to force them to comply with the Leftist Agenda of Gun Control.  Economics causes people to do things they would not otherwise do and even violate their principles and convictions.  However, I argue that if we allow the Leftists to regain control of Congress they will coerce those Liberal CEOs running the major banks, communications outlets, and other businesses to force the public into compliance allowing them to ‘restrict’ our ability to ‘keep and bear arms’ which is a forerunner to full-blown GUN BAN and GUN CONFISCATION. 

How many are aware of the effort in New York to force insurance companies to ‘blacklist the NRA?’  That is not fiction but fact.  We are all familiar with Dick’s Sporting Goods and the statement of their Chief Executive, Edward Stack regarding gun control.  He said, “This is an issue that is not going away, we need to take a stand.”  Walmart and Kroger followed his lead.  I agree with Rush Limbaugh that if ‘impeachment’ was to succeed and President Trump removed from office the Democrats would go full-bore into GUN CONFISCATION MODE.  Rush explained to a caller ‘Corporate Gun Control’ as “the leftists who run corporations, CEOs, the leftists who run the big banks and financial institutions are banding together to deny investment income, investment money, loans or whatever to anybody that has a gun, anybody that supports the Second Amendment.  They are seeking to impoverish the NRA or any individual devoted to the Second Amendment.”  Rush explained that private banks and the liberal CEOs are going to discriminate against everybody that is from a gun-rights organization or is a gun-rights individual.  If you own a gun or support gun-rights and go to a bank, you will be denied until you get rid of your gun.  Consider how that could play out for people in desperate financial situations and needing money for their business to survive!  Before you argue that they can’t do that consider who would be in control if the Leftists regain the House and Senate.  They can and will refuse to do business with anyone they choose, and nothing will be done about it.  They can refuse to hire you, lend you money, or make life miserable for you if they choose and choose they will.

America, if you believe you have certain inalienable rights that come from God and you want to keep them then it is IMPERATIVE that you join those of us diligently and devotedly working to STOP THE LEFTIST in November at every level of Government from Dog Catcher to President.  REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER and VOTE NO on the Liberal Leftist Democrats!

BLOG POST 1 - Projectionism

Recently former President Barack Hussein Obama gave a speech at the University of Illinois and demonstrated his narcissism, nihilism, egomania, and demagoguery.  Yes, I said it and I stand by that assertion.  His speech while calling for civility and a move away from divisiveness was laced with vitriolic hateful language, innuendos, and accusations directed toward President Trump and those of us who voted for him.  Hillary called us DEPLORABLE and he has often referred to us as BITTER CLINGERS, clinging to our Bibles and our Guns.  He is angry, not because he believes that Donald Trump is necessarily doing harm to America but because Donald Trump is shredding his legacy.  Obama envisioned his legacy as the savior of the world but has been and is being exposed as the troubler of America and in that, the world.

He said that November’s elections are the most important in history, and for once I totally agree with him, but for different reasons.  He also said, the consequences of us sitting on the sidelines is direr than ever, and again I agree with him.  Wow, two things in one speech I agree with Barack Obama on.  He could not restrain himself and seems to have forgotten that during his presidency, he and the left insisted that we respect the Office of President and their insistence included showing respect to the President.  He told those students and the world watching by television or replays of his speech, that the dark days in our history did not begin with Donald Trump.  He called the President a symptom, not the cause.  Imagine that!  That language coming from the man who sought to ‘fundamentally transform’ America and threatened Congress at every turn with his ‘pen and phone’.  The man that used Executive fiats to govern rather than following the constitutional process of legislation through Congress.  The man that sought to divide this nation along racial lines, and often pitted blacks against the police, and other things of that nature.

Mr. Obama accused Donald Trump of capitalizing on resentments that politicians have been fanning for years!  AMAZING!  The man that followed the philosophy of not letting a crisis go to waste and played the race card so often it seemed it was his only card.  He tried to take credit for the economic recovery we are experiencing, saying, “I’m glad it has continued.”  Seriously, CONTINUED?  It never began under your administration, so how did it continue?  It began once your policies were rejected and American business and American people to once again pursue the American Dream without the heavy weight of unneeded and undue government interference and restrictions.  CONTINUED?  Sorry, but you fail on that argument.  He argued that his administration could not reverse 40-year trends in just 8 years but failed to acknowledge that President Trump’s administration has largely done that in less than 2-years.

He made the snide comment in an accusation that the Republicans and Donald Trump were appealing to “the tribe” as if that is not exactly the tactic of the Democrats.  Projectionism on full display!  He takes what he and they are and projects it upon his opponents.  It failed for Hillary and I pray that it will fail for Obama as well.  His claim that Congress or the Republican-led Congress has championed the unwinding of campaign finance laws to give billionaires outsized influence over our politics while systematically attacking voting rights making it harder for the young, minorities, and the poor to vote.  THAT IS A BLATANT LIE and he knows it.  Voter ID does not restrict because anyone can get a voter identification card FREE.  He knows that what that does is help ensure that our elections are legitimate and not skewed by voter fraud.  Why is that a problem?  It seems to be a major problem for the Democrats because they need some fictional cause to rally support and engender the mindset of victimhood in people.  Also, those committing voter fraud, have been far more Democrat than Republican.  Maybe that is the real issue.

He used the tired argument that with Republicans in control of Congress and a Republican in the White House there are no checks and balances.  Does anybody remember how he vociferously argued for the voters to keep Congress and the White House in the hands of the Democrats?  I find it interesting, no hypocritical, that he would now argue for a return of Democrats to control Congress so long as Trump is president.  He even argued that people are tired of ‘toxic corruption’ meaning Republicans.  What about Fast & Furious, Benghazi, the IRS targeting conservatives, the FBI and DOJ hiding the scandals and illegalities of Hillary and other Democrats?  What about the releasing high-ranking Taliban leaders for a deserter? What about illegally and unconstitutionally sending billions to Iran and the Nuke Deal with that hater of America?  What about so many other items of corruption within your party and your administration sir?  REPUBLICANS CORRUPT?  I won’t argue that many are not, but to try to project the moniker of corruption on the Republicans and award sainthood to the Democrats would be laughable if it were not so serious and dangerous.

He said, that he complained plenty about Fox News but never called for them to be shut down.  Mr. Obama, how about your attempt and plea to SHUT RUSH LIMBAUGH DOWN and your effort to destroy him through advertisers?  Sir, you are again taking what you are and attempting to project it on your enemies.  His inference that Republicans and Trump are Nazi sympathizers makes my blood boil.  However, he makes no mention of his support of ANTIFA and other radical leftist groups that destroy public property, attempt to stop commerce and shut down businesses.  He makes no mention of instructing or agreeing with Eric Holder to refuse to prosecute members of the New Black Panthers who sought to intimate voters to keep them from voting.  PROJECTIONISM on display again!

He said, “We won’t win people over by calling them names, or dismissing entire chunks of the country as racist, or sexist, or homophobic.” What do the Democrats do? He chided Republicans for calling for ‘civility’ on the heels of his saying we needed that and then he justified the riots and demonstrations as being patriotic.  He said to be silent when something is said or done that seems outrageous, they must do something because to fail to do so would not be civility but an abdication of responsibilities.  What did he do then, he played the race card again talking about how blacks had difficulty succeeding in WHITE RURAL AMERICA.  This man has demonstrated his disdain for those not of his ethnicity, although he is half-white, his own writings reveal his rejection of any whiteness which is reflected in his rhetoric and policies.  He mentioned promises of simple solutions to fix problems as being a tactic of Republicans and yet he was the one that gave us the simple promise of Fixing Healthcare via Obamacare.  His Promise to fix something that resulted in destroying our healthcare system.

He continued his rant by trashing Republicans, and those who support Donald Trump.  His call to move away from that kind of rhetoric was replaced with his doing exactly what he accused Republicans of doing.  He decried the use of fear-mongering and engaged in it.  He decried using race as a platform and used it.  He decried being divisive and then became divisive.  He said some things that were 70% truth and 30% distortions and that 30% so outweighed the 70% it was terrifying.  Terrifying should the followers of liberalism and the Kool-Aid drinkers at the trough of Socialism and Progressivism believe it, and they do.

AMERICA, this election in November IS the most important we have ever faced.  PLEASE, do not allow apathy or complacency prevent you from going to the polls and vote.  If you desire Freedom and Liberty and the Constitutional Republic to be just that VOTE and Vote to prevent the Democrats from regaining control of Congress.

BLOG POST 4 - Forgive Them

Those words of Jesus, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” are germane to today’s Democratic Party and their nonsensical pursuit of Socialism, Open Borders, Abortion on Demand, and shredding the Constitution.  I cannot believe they truly understand the “can of worms” and the “demons” they are unleashing in their pursuit, so I pray that prayer.  However, if they know and are doing it willfully and intentionally I have a different prayer as identified in Romans 16:20.  I pray, “Lord, our God of Peace, please crush Satan under your feet and do it quickly.”

Some time back, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) wrote an article for VOX explaining the movement’s objectives which included ENDING CAPITALISM and BRINGING ABOUT RADICAL CHANGE TO AMERICA.  An extension of Barack Obama’s desire to “fundamentally transform” this Republic into something other than the Constitutional Republic established by our Founders and Framers.  That article and declaration, in normal times, would not elicit much notice coming from a fringe party, but in today’s political climate, it demands notice.  WHY?  Because people within the Democratic circle including Bernie Sanders, and their new proclaimed face of the party, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez touting the virtues of Socialism it bears watching.  Include in that number the DNC announcing that Ocasio-Cortez is the new face of the party, it bears watching.  Polls have been released that indicate that 57% of Democrats prefer Socialism to Free Market Capitalism yet only a smidgen of them can define either, it makes it important to note.

Bernie Sander’s brand of Socialism in 2016 caused me to take note of the incredible support he received from Democrats across the board and had it not been for the corruption of the DNC and the Clinton campaign he might have won the nomination and possibly the election.  THAT MAKES IT SIGNIFICANT and worthy of watching.  The VOX article was a ‘manifesto’ of sorts for the Socialist and is being embraced by the Democrats on a national level.  Megan Day, a member of the DSA took exception to the MSM attempting to identify the Democratic Socialism as simply a rebranding of New Deal Liberalism.  She openly declared that unlike the New Deal Liberalism the Socialist want to END CAPITALISM!  She stated, “Social democratic reforms like Medicare-for-all are, in the eyes of DSA, part of the long, uneven process of building that support, and eventually overthrowing capitalism.”  WOW!  No more hiding, I guess, and we will see how this plays out in November and beyond.  I pray that America will reject Socialism regardless of what package it is wrapped in and recognize the inherent dangers and failures of that product.

Ocasio-Cortez expressed an amazingly illogical and dangerous ideology, “capitalism has not always existed in the world, and it will not always exist in the world.”  In their attempt to win acceptance of Socialism, Sanders, Day, and Ocasio-Cortez must use the tactic that engenders them to basic human greed and envy – Redistribution of Wealth.  They have for a very long time, attempted to paint anyone with money as being inherently evil, uncaring, and failing to pay their ‘fair share.’  They ignore the reality that those at the upper echelon of the tax bracket pay the lion’s share of all taxes and are the providers of jobs for those on the lower end of the spectrum.  The idea that someone will “take from the rich and give to the poor”, a Robin Hood of sorts, appeals to human greed, envy, laziness, and a sense of entitlement.

Not only do the Socialist and many of the Leftist Democrats want to end Capitalism they have little regard for our American Republican System of Government or any Democracy for that matter.  In fact, there are hints from this bunch that they are going to drop “democratic” from their name and simply be known as Socialist or American Socialist.  Ms. Day, is a writer for the New York-based Socialist magazine called “Jacobin”.  Why is that significant?  The Jacobins were the most violent and radical political group of the French Revolution.  They were led by Maximilien Robespierre and executed anyone their so-called Committee of Public Safety deemed insufficiently loyal.  HOW DOES THAT GRAB YOU?  I hope it grabs you by the neck, shakes you and causes you to wake up and say NO, NO, NO!

History indicates that almost 40,000 people were killed by these self-proclaimed enforces of societal safety.  They purged those who disagreed with them or posed a threat.  I hope that is sounding eerily familiar and you connect some dots as to what is transpiring, or the groundwork is being laid.  The play, “Dialogues of the Carmelites” is a moving true story of the Carmelite nuns who refused to denounce Christ at the peak of the Reign of Terror. The French Revolution was essentially anti-Catholic and many churches were closed and reopened as “Temples of Reason” presenting the Jacobin propaganda.  The nuns were beheaded and just before the guillotine dropped, they displayed the power of God’s love by singing hymns and renewing their vows.  I am not Catholic but am moved by anyone naming the name of Christ demonstrating that resolve, faith, and commitment.  Another account in Christopher Hibbert’s “The French Revolution” the Jacobins charged a woman with the heinous crime of weeping at her husband’s execution and was forced to lay several hours with the blade of the guillotine suspended over her dropping her husband’s blood on her before they killed her.

History records that the Jacobins eventually turned on their leader, Robespierre and executed him.  I guess it is possible that this tyrannical despotic group known as the DSA with followers such as Bernie Sanders, Margaret Day, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Keith Ellison might find they implode as the pressure to fulfill their promises caves in on them like an old mine shaft.  All, I can say for certain is that if America is so foolish, misguided, ignorant, and/or greedy as to elect Socialist to Congress or the White House, we deserve what we get.  NO, I will never vote for them and pray that you will not either.  However, if the Never Trump Crowd, and the Republicans that choose to stay home because they don’t like the candidate or Trump succeed in their efforts allowing the Leftist to reclaim power, we just might get that very thing.  Hate me if you please.  Call me any name that you find in your vocabulary, but know please THINK ABOUT IT.  Consider the Cost of Withholding your Vote and by that action allowing the Leftists to regain control.  My prayer is simple – WAKE UP AMERICA!  My hope is clear – A CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT where the Rule of Law is followed, and the Constitution kept intact.

TWO WARS IN AMERICA…


BLOG POST 3 - War in America

No, I am not referring to Iraq and Afghanistan, I am on a completely different front and realize that some will call me an alarmist in what I will address, but I believe it is current reality and a future danger.  We had a literal Civil War in America between 1861 and 1865 and from all historical accounts, it was horrific and incredibly divisive.  In fact, for some, it still divides today and that is tragic.  We have had more than a few volatile civil uprisings in America since that war including some during the 1960s that pressed us dangerously close to a full-blown race war and had the potential of becoming a second Civil War.  Thankfully, they did not escalate to that point.  In more modern times, since the election of Donald J. Trump, there have been groups such as Black Lives Matter, Occupy Wall Street, ANTIFA, and Unite the Right Rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.  It has, largely, been one-sided but the heat of anger, the fire of animosity, and blindness of prejudice are being exploited by those who want to inflict a ‘death blow’ to our Constitutional Republic, the United States of America.  Sadly, we are anything but UNITED and have ceased to be “One Nation under God, indivisible…”  Some would argue that is because there is not “liberty and justice for all.”  But, those arguments are frequently rooted in a blind bias, prejudice, and hate rather than concrete realities.  That makes the issue even more dire.  When facts and truth take a back seat to prejudice and hate, there is usually no resolution short of bloodshed.  THAT I DO NOT WANT!  I RESIST THAT with all that is within me.

The Two Wars of which I refer are The Coming Civil War and the Spiritual War that is now being waged in my beloved America.  The original anarchist, rebel, and protester was Lucifer (the devil or satan) himself.  From the time of his eviction from heaven and fall to the earth, he has waged war against the children of God, God, and everything right, good, and moral.  He is, as is reflected in numerous passages of Scripture (Genesis 3:4-5; John 8:44; 2 Corinthians 11:3, 14; Ephesians 6:11; Revelation 12:9; Revelation 19:20 to list a few).  Paul warned in 2 Timothy 3:13, “But evil men and seducers will wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”  The scripture of the blind leading the blind comes to mind because in this hour we are witnessing the deceived deceiving.  No wonder both Jesus and Stephen could pray, “Father, forgive them…”  Jesus added, “for they know not what they do.”  You may not believe in God and consider those of us who do, as fools, but ONE DAY, you will come face to face with the reality that GOD IS.  It may come after you have experienced the destruction of Evil and suffered loss beyond your imagination.

I believe the devil, the great deceiver, has gained inroads into the minds of men and women, most of whom would be appalled at the idea they are being used by the devil.  They have been indoctrinated by the media, politicians, Hollywood, and most of all through our Educational System.  That tool became readily available to the destroyers because WE SLEPT when we should have been CAREFULLY WATCHING.  Parents for the past several generations placed unwarranted trust in the Educational System and failed to carefully filter their children’s education or indoctrination.  NO, I am not declaring that ALL TEACHERS are bad, they assuredly are not.  BUT I AM declaring that the objective of far too many within the System has been to reshape the thinking of generations and thereby achieve the stated objective of Barack Obama, “fundamental transformation” of America.  Not only have parents been negligent but so has the CHURCH or more specifically the CLERGY.  Much of the Church world bought what the liberal, progressive, globalist was selling and took a “hands-off” approach to matters of government or politics.  We sat silently as the curriculum shifted to a revisionist position, stripped our schools of any offering of moral foundation and biblical truth.  Too often, we lamented the change to our congregations but offered no clear-cut warnings or pathways to combat the atrocity we were witnessing, and our children have been deceived.

It is my firm belief that without divine intervention we are witnessing the demise of our Republic.  YES, I believe it is critical that we get out the vote, go to the polls and cast our ballots, inundate our elected officials with email, text, faxes, letters, and phone calls expressing our desires.  YES, I believe it is vital that we speak to everyone we have any influence with and to those with whom there is a door of opportunity, presenting truth, facts, and reality with civility.  YES, I believe it is imperative that we demonstrate a willingness to listen and have an open discussion regarding issues, problems, and solutions.  BUT, I do not believe that we currently have the level of involvement, enlightenment on a large enough scale, or the manpower to stem the tide of evil WITHOUT God’s divine intervention.  That may sound “doom and gloom” to some, and all I say rejected as a result.  BUT, please, please, please, HEAR ME – I believe that we win this war if we follow some basic guidelines.

First, those who are given to prayer must become INTERCESSORS.  Without prayer, we will find that our efforts are like rain on a tin roof, noise with little substance.  Prayer energizes with supernatural strength, endurance, courage, and wisdom like few other things we can do.  Therefore, the first step in turning this tide is PRAYER!

Second, we must INVEST ourselves in the war.  We will not do that until we fully believe there is a war and grasp the intensity and reality of that war.  I declare to you, that if the Left succeeds in the Mid-Term Elections they will immediately come after your Liberties and Inalienable Rights including Freedom of Speech, Right to Keep and Bear Arms, your Right to follow the Convictions of your Faith and demand at the threat of prison or worse unless you COMPLY.  I sometimes feel that my warnings are falling from my lips or my pen and going no further than my lips or the page upon which they have been written.  You are not simply becoming involved in politics but the Fight for Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.  This is the Second American Revolution and could become the Second Civil War if the spiritual forces of darkness are successful in heating the pot to the point of boiling over.

Third, we must RETURN to our founding principles and our national moral moorings.  Parents, you must reassert your parental authority and assume your parental responsibilities.  You are mandated by God to oversee the upbringing of your children.  In fact, Proverbs 22:6 instructs parents to “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it.”  That is not the government, the educational system, or the community’s job IT IS YOURS!  Likewise, Pastors, you must once again become “Watchmen on the Walls” and SOUND THE ALARM when there is a danger.  You must not only inform of the danger but detail a strategy and provide a shelter for the people to run to and to stand firm against the flood tide of darkness that is coming.  NO, we are not to hide behind the four walls of the church but take up the armor and weapons of spiritual warfare and STAND using those weapons to pull down strongholds.  Again, some will take exception to this strategy, but it is what I believe and if it resonates with you embrace it and join those of us fighting for America and for Faith, Family, and Freedom!

I do not vote for the Republicans simply because I believe them to necessarily be godly or of impeccable moral character.  I vote for them because when I view the platform of the Democratic Party, I find it impossible to reconcile my faith or my patriotism with that party platform.  If it were only the issue of abortion, that would be enough to repel me and prevent me from voting for the Democrat, but if you want any hope of limited government, secure borders, Freedom of Speech, Religion, and the Right of Self-Defense, you cannot vote Democrat.  If you have any desire to see the federal bureaucracies brought to a place of accountability you cannot vote Democrat.  I pray that the blindness that has afflicted many will be healed and the scales and blinders removed.  My prayer has been for a long time, “God expose the corruption in Washington.” 

Please forgive me for this lengthy article which some will call Roy’s Rant, but please take to heart the dangers we are now facing in America and join the fight for freedom.  America needs her patriots more today than possibly anytime in history.  WHAT IS YOUR FREEDOM WORTH?

WHAT ARE THE THREATS FOR AMERICA and OUR REPUBLIC???


BLOG POST 2 -

Clearly, I cannot name them all or do an exhaustive treatise on every threat that our Republic faces but I would like to list a few and hope they will resonate with you and cause you to step up your involvement in the fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom.  If I succeed in securing that response, I have been highly successful and achieved a much needed and greatly desired objective.

Someone said, “Just because you are paranoid doesn’t mean that somebody is not out to get you.”  That is funny but incredibly accurate, especially in today’s political climate and condition of ‘resistance’ and ‘agitation’.  America has faced some incredibly ominous threats in her short history since our founding in 1776.  Throughout the 19th century we faced threats from the nation from which we won our freedom, Great Britain and in the 20th century we faced grave threats from the Nazis, Imperial Japan, and the nuclear-armed Soviets not to mention the threats in the latter part of the 20th and thus far in the 21st centuries from Islamic Terrorism and Despotic Regimes lead by deranged heads including Iran and North Korea but dare not omit the Peoples Republic of China.  The external threats are very real and cannot be ignored but are they the most serious threats we face in this hour? 

I believe that the internal threats are being coupled with the external threats somewhat like adding glycerol to concentrated nitric and sulfuric acids to form nitroglycerin a highly explosive mixture.  Political Correctness, Toxic Liberalism, Progressivism, Socialism, Racism, and the intense Hatred that is now being boiled in the Caldron of public relationships and politics is about to boil over and chaos ensue that is impossible to contain.

What are some of the threats facing America as the Free Constitutional Republic?  You would have to include the Politicians who are greedy, duplicitous, and corrupt, Radical Islam, the Fake News or the MSM that is nothing more than a propaganda arm of Liberalism, and Identity Politics including Political Correctness.  You must also add, the assault on Christian values, the Second Amendment, the Opioid epidemic, the decimating of our military under the former administration, Illegal Immigration, and Education.  But, I have become convinced that the single greatest threat to our Constitutional Republic and our Form of Government is APATHY or INDIFFERENCE.  That is not a new condition and one that I hope is being eliminated but I continue to meet people who tell me, “I don’t worry about politics, I just leave that to the politicians.”  SERIOUSLY?  Would you leave the care of your children to a known pedophile?   Would you leave an alcoholic in charge of the local pub?  Would you leave a rapist in charge of the dressing room of the girl’s gym?  Would you leave a serial killer in charge of the local gun store?  HEAVEN FORBID! 

Leaving Politics to Politicians would be like leaving the rules of family life and discipline to your pre-teen and teenagers.  Would you leave the bank funds in the hands of a habitual gambler or undisciplined shopper?  There are polls and surveys available for viewing today that suggest that almost 70% of all Americans admit to losing sleep worrying over their finances and potential retirement woes.  Yet, those same Americans find time to recreate, work, follow their hobbies but ALMOST NO TIME for Politics?  If you understand that Politics and the result of the actions of Politicians affects our bottom line and every other detail of life, you will realize that it is sheer insanity to attempt to extract yourself from the Political.

The Educational Threat is very real and foreboding yet often ignored.  We (collectively) have contented ourselves with allowing the Educators to shape our children’s thinking, philosophy, and ideologies.  That is disastrous, and we are paying a very high price and that price will result in the loss of Liberty and Freedom if we do not wake up and become involved in the political.  The Progressive Liberal Leftists on the Democratic side of the aisle know the importance of the Educational System.  Unfortunately, we have become too accustomed to a microwave world and taking the easy road.  We have, too often, failed to become involved in the curriculum being taught our children and not paid enough attention to the moral values or lack thereof they are being taught in school.  Hillary Clinton once said, “It takes a village to raise a child.”  That embraces the view of the Leftists that the government knows more and better how to raise our children that we the parents.  That is contrary to the biblical view and the view that Americans have held for hundreds of years.  The basic responsibility of our children is us, the parents.

A caller called into the Rush Limbaugh show shortly after Donald Trump was inaugurated and said, “You have Trump for a short time; we have your children (then broke out in a maniacal laugh).”  I find that so disturbing I can hardly contain my anger and frustration.  For decades our high school students have been taught little to no history and even less patriotism.  We have all seen the street interviews where young people (and some not so young) which demonstrate the complete ignorance regarding basic historical facts that most of us learned in elementary school decades ago.  One of the greatest dangers our Republic has been and is an uneducated and uninformed public who then are charged with electing those who will serve in Congress.

I don’t have time to detail the dangers of Illegal Immigration, the Homeless problem, and the increasing violence in many of our larger cities under the governance of Liberal Leftists Democrats.  San Francisco now has funded “poop patrols” to pick up the feces left on the streets by the homeless.  Los Angeles is spending almost ½ Billion dollars on the homeless and Los Angeles County alone plans to spend almost $400 Million.  Violent Crime is reaching an epidemic level in cities like Chicago where almost 700 were killed by homicide in 2017 and thus far in 2018, almost 400 have already been documented.  Gun control is being pushed by the leftists, but Chicago has some of the most stringent gun laws on the books of any city in the world and is at the top of the list for gun violence.  The Leftist have no clue how to deal with the problem because it is a heart and head problem, not a gun problem.  It is a moral and spiritual problem and so long as there is the continued assault on Bible-based morality and the family while ignoring the real problem, the human condition it will only grow worse.

With the Main Stream Media, Hollywood, the Activist, and Leftist Politicians waging 24/7/365 war on this President, everything Conservative and Constitutional any hope of a resolution is remote, at best.  It is important for people to be INFORMED but dangerous for them to be INDOCTRINATED with a twisted and distorted version of Truth and Facts.  So long as there is avarice and greed in the human heart and politicians are allowed to prey on the clueless, enslave the weak, and distort reality we will continue down the road to destruction.  Can we Prevent the apparent Doom and Destruction?  YES!  We can, BUT ONLY IF we wake up and become involved at every level of government and life.  From the School Board to the White House we have a responsibility and duty to be informed and involved.  Government affects our Lives, therefore it is our RESPONSIBILITY to oversee the government and fire them when they don’t do what we hired them to do.

Will, you wake up and join me in this Fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom and VOTE NO ON THE LEFTIST in November?  I pray that you will and if you do we can begin the process of Restoring the Republic to its lofty and rightly place.

I am angered and amused by the hypocrisy of the Liberal Leftists on the Democrat side of the political ledger.  They are clamoring for TRANSPARENCY with Judge Kavanaugh and talking about the great travesty of our political and constitutional system if EVERY SINGLE DOCUMENT connected to him in any manner is not revealed.  Before you scream, “What’s wrong with that?” I ask you to turn back the pages of history just a few years and consider the position of the Democrats.  For example, Senator Durbin you are attempting to make it sound like not having every single document regarding Judge Kavanaugh the end of the world.  However, your position regarding Benghazi, Hillary’s emails from an unsecured server to a foreign government was possibly nothing more than her signing up for Yoga. I’m not sure what foreign government she would have needed to contact for that purpose, but alas that was the position of the Left.  NOW, it is the difference between life and death if EVERY SINGLE DOCUMENT is not brought to the light and the time required by the Left to peruse them would be years, not months.  THERE YOU HAVE IT, that is the plan – DELAY, DELAY, DELAY. If the Democrats had a history of TRANSPARENCY I could accept their diatribe and rhetoric now, but they have not been.

Senator Durbin had the audacity to say to Judge Kavanaugh, “If you believe that your public-service record is one that you can stand behind and defend, I hope that at the end of this you will ask this Committee to suspend until we are given all the documents, until we have the time to review them, and then we resume this hearing.  What I’m saying to you is basically this: if you will trust the American people, they will trust you.  But if your effort today continues to conceal and hide documents, it raises a suspicion,” Durbin said.  “For the sake of this nation, for the sanctity of the Constitution that we both honor, step up.  Ask this meeting, this gathering, to suspend until all the documents of your public career are there for the American people to see.”  HYPOCRISY is too kind a word, but I don’t use profanity so it’s the best I can muster for Senator Durbin and the Leftist howling that is taking place.  His qualifications are not their focus but his UNWILLINGNESS to be a Leftist Political Activist on the Court that troubles them.  His stance on the Constitution that is similar to Justice Antonin Scalia is what troubles them.  His belief that Judges are not players, but umpires troubles them.  In short, he is not one of them, so he is unacceptable and unqualified in their minds.  Their hypocrisy over how they treated Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the nominees of the former president reflect their true view of transparency.

Now regarding the much-discussed New York Times’ release of the so-called White House Senior Official Memo I have several observations.  First, if this a real memo from a real person who is a Senior Member of the Trump White House, the person is a liar.  Before you lose your cookies over that statement let me explain.  That person, presuming it is a man, if he is, in fact, a Senior Member of the Trump Staff, he had to LIE to the President regarding his political position.  If you are okay with a person doing that to gain an inside track to shipwreck this president, then you are devoid of the very things you accuse Trump of lacking – Character and Integrity!  Get mad at me if you please, and unfriend me on Facebook, stop reading my blogs, and don’t give me the time of day, that’s your choice.  I do not believe that “the end justifies the means.”  This person acknowledged themselves as being part of the ‘resistance’ and ‘Deep State.’  If you can applaud the desire to unconstitutionally overthrow a president in a political coup then you need to pause and rethink your position.  Do you really want to open that can of worms?

I do not believe any president would employ a person that is adamantly against him as a Senior Member of his staff.  That would be suicidal politically, and I don’t believe any of our former presidents wanted to commit political suicide.  Second, the assertions or allegations are laughable and could have been written by anyone and would not require Insider Information.  They are generalities, for the most part, and parroting of the Liberal Leftists talking points.  The president is painted as being ‘amoral’ with no discernible moorings to ‘first principles.’  The assertion that he is anti-trade and anti-democratic is amusing.  He has helped trade and if anti-democratic is being Anti the Leftist Democrats I can buy that be if the assertion is that he is Anti our system of government that is absurd.  This so-called memo brings up the favorite song of the Democrats regarding Trump and would sing that song about any Republican President who did not dance to their tune, THE 25TH AMENDMENT.  The lines that are the most troubling are, “Given the instability many witnessed, there were early whispers within the cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment, which would start a complex process for removing the president. But no one wanted to precipitate a constitutional crisis. So, we will do what we can to steer the administration in the right direction until — one way or another — it’s over.”   That last sentence is more than a little troubling it is alarming!  The claim that their effort to overturn and overthrow a sitting president is not the work of the Deep State but the work of the Steady State is astounding.  Steady State?  This individual, if he/she exists, deems him/herself as the guardian of democracy and the Real America resisting Tyranny and like Mighty Mouse, rushing to save the day.

The Democrats love this because it is a feeble attempt to paint themselves as the true patriots and guardians of liberty who are willing to work with the other side to achieve what is best for America.  Seriously?  Look at how they are dealing with Judge Kavanaugh, and how they have addressed every item the Republicans have presented to Congress.  WILLING TO WORK TOGETHER?  In what world?  When have they done that?  They think bipartisanship is the Republicans signing off on what the Democrats want and even then, they trash the GOP and all of us who do not vote Democrat as more evil than Lucifer himself.  This memo then takes a shot at the millions of us who voted for Donald Trump saying, “The bigger concern is not what Mr. Trump has done to the presidency but rather what we as a nation have allowed him to do to us. We have sunk low with him and allowed our discourse to be stripped of civility.”   SERIOUSLY?  Who has stripped the discourse of civility?  Who, The Democrats, the Activist, the Resistance, that’s who!

In my view, and that of some Constitutional Scholars and Legal Experts that I have talked to and read their opinions, this memo constitutes or borders on TREASON.  It is an attempt to overthrow a legitimate president and is a direct assault on our System of Government.  You may disagree, and that’s your privilege but before you call me names, look at the good things that have happened in the first two years of this president and the fact that this was a legitimate election!  The Economy alone should be enough to be thankful Hillary Clinton was not allowed to continue the destructive economic policies of Barack Obama.  There is more, much more, but I will leave it at that.  November 6, 2018, is a day that may well live in Infamy for America.  What we do on that day will determine our Republic’s future.

MY COUNTRY, ‘TIS OF THEE…


Blog Post 3 - My Country

The classic written by Samuel Francis Smith in 1831, begins, “My country, ‘tis of thee, sweet land of liberty…”  It speaks of the land where our fathers died, the land of the pilgrim’s pride and called for Freedom to ring from every mountainside.  It is a song that embodies patriotism and love for America and recognizes God’s hand in our Liberty and Freedom.  It recognizes that Liberty and Freedom are the work of God through inspiration in the hearts of men and women everywhere.  This song, calls upon the Almighty God of Heaven to PROTECT us and to let our land long be bright with Freedom’s Holy Light.   WHAT A PRAYER through song! 

Today, we have politicians, Hollywood liberals, the Media, and Pro-Athletes using such vitriolic language and rhetoric they are inciting violence and fanning the flames of hate to epic proportions.  At the same time, they claim they are the ones who are trying to stamp out the fires of discord.  I suppose they believe they are fighting fire with fire, but the problem is the incessant diatribe is coming from the Left not those on the Right.  I expect to be attacked for that statement, but for the most part, those on the Right have not engaged in the vitriolic nastiness and malevolence of the Left.  Yes, there are some on the Right who want to dive into the same cesspool and wallow therein, but most of us do not want to stoop that low and would prefer an open and honest conversation about the issues.  We will not cave to the demands of Toxic Liberalism and give up our rights or kowtow to the whims of the so-called resistance, but we will discuss the issues and seek viable solutions.

Those on the Left are demanding censorship of any opinion not consistent or compatible with their own while at the same time insisting they are the champions of Freedom of Speech.  If Speech is not Free for everyone it is Free for no one!  If we are to defend the 1st Amendment, then everyone on both sides of the aisle MUST know what it provides.  The 1st Amendment states: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people to peaceably assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”  It is my belief that far less than 50% know what is provided in the 1st Amendment of our American Constitution and therefore cannot argue for or against it intelligently.

Congress has no business in matters of religion UNLESS the practice of that religion endangers the populace and those practicing it.  The Framers and Founders sought to ensure that the Government, unlike that of Great Britain did not establish a national church.  They wanted everyone to have the liberty to follow their conscience and worship according to the dictate of their heart.  They wanted churches to be free to proclaim their faith and that would include churches proclaiming a faith other than Christianity.  We cannot censor anyone without opening the door to censoring everyone!  It is those religions that seek to physically harm or enslave everyone not adhering to their doctrine and method of government and life that require closer scrutiny and may require limitations due to the dangers they present to other citizens.  EVERYTHING must be done PEACEABLY.   Those on the Left have demonstrated a desire to coerce people of the Christian Faith to cede their beliefs and accommodate beliefs and lifestyles that violate their conscience.  That is wrong and violates the Constitution.  Those same people are willing to all the followers of religions such as Islam to refuse services when it violates their doctrinal beliefs.  That is more than hypocritical it is a direct assault on the 1st Amendment Rights of Christians and IT IS WRONG!

Congress MUST NEVER abridge our Right to our own opinion and the expression thereof publicly or privately.  No, it does not allow for anyone, members of Congress, Activist Groups, the MSM, Hollywood, or any other group to incite riots and call for the physical harm of those disagreeing with their ideology.  That is happening today with the continual calls for violence against any of the supporters of Donald Trump and the Conservative agenda.  They are excused and even invoke the name of God claiming to be messengers of the Creator when their actions and words are converse of the teachings of the Bible, especially the New Testament.

There is, in my view, nothing that President Trump or anyone on the Right can do that would appease the proponents of Toxic Liberalism.  Nothing short of death would appease them and then that would probably only be satisfactory if the death was the result of violence and much pain was incurred in the process.   The song, ‘My Country, ‘tis of Thee’ gives us a pathway and identifies a mindset required for us to have HEALING IN AMERICA!  During the 8 years of Barack Obama, many of us were terribly distraught and discouraged about the direction of our Republic.  There was not the immediate and continued demand that he be harmed, his family harmed, nor the expressed desire for the economy to fail as there is today.  I am stunned at how many express their desire and willingness for America’s economy to collapse simply to harm the President.  What about the millions of Americans that would also suffer?  How is that justifiable and how can that be ascribed as righteous?  IT IS DIABOLICAL.

Let’s look back at the song and consider what it offers and calls for:

  1. My country, ’tis of thee, Sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing; Land where my fathers died, Land of the pilgrims’ pride, from ev’ry mountainside Let freedom ring!

[What a powerful and wonderful attitude and expression.  From every mountainside – LET FREEDOM RING!  But, for Freedom to Ring throughout the Land it must ring for all.]

  1. My native country, thee, Land of the noble free, thy name I love; I love thy rocks and rills, thy woods and templed hills. My heart with rapture thrills like that above.

[The Love of Country and the awareness of her beauty and provision should prompt everyone to desire and demand that Freedom for All be desired and acquired.]

  1. Let music swell the breeze and ring from all the trees Sweet freedom’s song; Let mortal tongues awake; Let all that breathe partake; Let rocks their silence break, the sound prolong. 

[Freedom is sweet music but hate deafens the hearing.  Freedom’s song must be sung by all and for all or it not sung at all.]

  1. Our fathers’ God, to thee, Author of liberty, to thee we sing; Long may our land be bright with freedom’s holy light. Protect us by thy might, Great God, our King!

[This verse identifies what our Founders and the Framers alluded to time and again, the Provision and Providence of God.  Our Rights come from Him, not from government.  Therefore, it is imperative that we cease the vitriolic rhetoric and accept the truth that EVERYONE has certain inalienable rights.]

We can disagree politically, socially, morally, economically, intellectually, and spiritually but we MUST NEVER seek to silence all opposition, THAT IS NOT AMERICA it is DESPOTISM.   I believe that those following the Toxicity of Liberalism expressed in the National Democratic Party are ANTI all that America stands for and I oppose them and will VOTE NO on the Democrats in November.  My Country, ‘tis of thee, I will stand and defend you so long as I draw breath.
