BLOG POST 4 - Forgive Them

Those words of Jesus, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” are germane to today’s Democratic Party and their nonsensical pursuit of Socialism, Open Borders, Abortion on Demand, and shredding the Constitution.  I cannot believe they truly understand the “can of worms” and the “demons” they are unleashing in their pursuit, so I pray that prayer.  However, if they know and are doing it willfully and intentionally I have a different prayer as identified in Romans 16:20.  I pray, “Lord, our God of Peace, please crush Satan under your feet and do it quickly.”

Some time back, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) wrote an article for VOX explaining the movement’s objectives which included ENDING CAPITALISM and BRINGING ABOUT RADICAL CHANGE TO AMERICA.  An extension of Barack Obama’s desire to “fundamentally transform” this Republic into something other than the Constitutional Republic established by our Founders and Framers.  That article and declaration, in normal times, would not elicit much notice coming from a fringe party, but in today’s political climate, it demands notice.  WHY?  Because people within the Democratic circle including Bernie Sanders, and their new proclaimed face of the party, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez touting the virtues of Socialism it bears watching.  Include in that number the DNC announcing that Ocasio-Cortez is the new face of the party, it bears watching.  Polls have been released that indicate that 57% of Democrats prefer Socialism to Free Market Capitalism yet only a smidgen of them can define either, it makes it important to note.

Bernie Sander’s brand of Socialism in 2016 caused me to take note of the incredible support he received from Democrats across the board and had it not been for the corruption of the DNC and the Clinton campaign he might have won the nomination and possibly the election.  THAT MAKES IT SIGNIFICANT and worthy of watching.  The VOX article was a ‘manifesto’ of sorts for the Socialist and is being embraced by the Democrats on a national level.  Megan Day, a member of the DSA took exception to the MSM attempting to identify the Democratic Socialism as simply a rebranding of New Deal Liberalism.  She openly declared that unlike the New Deal Liberalism the Socialist want to END CAPITALISM!  She stated, “Social democratic reforms like Medicare-for-all are, in the eyes of DSA, part of the long, uneven process of building that support, and eventually overthrowing capitalism.”  WOW!  No more hiding, I guess, and we will see how this plays out in November and beyond.  I pray that America will reject Socialism regardless of what package it is wrapped in and recognize the inherent dangers and failures of that product.

Ocasio-Cortez expressed an amazingly illogical and dangerous ideology, “capitalism has not always existed in the world, and it will not always exist in the world.”  In their attempt to win acceptance of Socialism, Sanders, Day, and Ocasio-Cortez must use the tactic that engenders them to basic human greed and envy – Redistribution of Wealth.  They have for a very long time, attempted to paint anyone with money as being inherently evil, uncaring, and failing to pay their ‘fair share.’  They ignore the reality that those at the upper echelon of the tax bracket pay the lion’s share of all taxes and are the providers of jobs for those on the lower end of the spectrum.  The idea that someone will “take from the rich and give to the poor”, a Robin Hood of sorts, appeals to human greed, envy, laziness, and a sense of entitlement.

Not only do the Socialist and many of the Leftist Democrats want to end Capitalism they have little regard for our American Republican System of Government or any Democracy for that matter.  In fact, there are hints from this bunch that they are going to drop “democratic” from their name and simply be known as Socialist or American Socialist.  Ms. Day, is a writer for the New York-based Socialist magazine called “Jacobin”.  Why is that significant?  The Jacobins were the most violent and radical political group of the French Revolution.  They were led by Maximilien Robespierre and executed anyone their so-called Committee of Public Safety deemed insufficiently loyal.  HOW DOES THAT GRAB YOU?  I hope it grabs you by the neck, shakes you and causes you to wake up and say NO, NO, NO!

History indicates that almost 40,000 people were killed by these self-proclaimed enforces of societal safety.  They purged those who disagreed with them or posed a threat.  I hope that is sounding eerily familiar and you connect some dots as to what is transpiring, or the groundwork is being laid.  The play, “Dialogues of the Carmelites” is a moving true story of the Carmelite nuns who refused to denounce Christ at the peak of the Reign of Terror. The French Revolution was essentially anti-Catholic and many churches were closed and reopened as “Temples of Reason” presenting the Jacobin propaganda.  The nuns were beheaded and just before the guillotine dropped, they displayed the power of God’s love by singing hymns and renewing their vows.  I am not Catholic but am moved by anyone naming the name of Christ demonstrating that resolve, faith, and commitment.  Another account in Christopher Hibbert’s “The French Revolution” the Jacobins charged a woman with the heinous crime of weeping at her husband’s execution and was forced to lay several hours with the blade of the guillotine suspended over her dropping her husband’s blood on her before they killed her.

History records that the Jacobins eventually turned on their leader, Robespierre and executed him.  I guess it is possible that this tyrannical despotic group known as the DSA with followers such as Bernie Sanders, Margaret Day, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Keith Ellison might find they implode as the pressure to fulfill their promises caves in on them like an old mine shaft.  All, I can say for certain is that if America is so foolish, misguided, ignorant, and/or greedy as to elect Socialist to Congress or the White House, we deserve what we get.  NO, I will never vote for them and pray that you will not either.  However, if the Never Trump Crowd, and the Republicans that choose to stay home because they don’t like the candidate or Trump succeed in their efforts allowing the Leftist to reclaim power, we just might get that very thing.  Hate me if you please.  Call me any name that you find in your vocabulary, but know please THINK ABOUT IT.  Consider the Cost of Withholding your Vote and by that action allowing the Leftists to regain control.  My prayer is simple – WAKE UP AMERICA!  My hope is clear – A CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT where the Rule of Law is followed, and the Constitution kept intact.

TWO WARS IN AMERICA…


BLOG POST 3 - War in America

No, I am not referring to Iraq and Afghanistan, I am on a completely different front and realize that some will call me an alarmist in what I will address, but I believe it is current reality and a future danger.  We had a literal Civil War in America between 1861 and 1865 and from all historical accounts, it was horrific and incredibly divisive.  In fact, for some, it still divides today and that is tragic.  We have had more than a few volatile civil uprisings in America since that war including some during the 1960s that pressed us dangerously close to a full-blown race war and had the potential of becoming a second Civil War.  Thankfully, they did not escalate to that point.  In more modern times, since the election of Donald J. Trump, there have been groups such as Black Lives Matter, Occupy Wall Street, ANTIFA, and Unite the Right Rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.  It has, largely, been one-sided but the heat of anger, the fire of animosity, and blindness of prejudice are being exploited by those who want to inflict a ‘death blow’ to our Constitutional Republic, the United States of America.  Sadly, we are anything but UNITED and have ceased to be “One Nation under God, indivisible…”  Some would argue that is because there is not “liberty and justice for all.”  But, those arguments are frequently rooted in a blind bias, prejudice, and hate rather than concrete realities.  That makes the issue even more dire.  When facts and truth take a back seat to prejudice and hate, there is usually no resolution short of bloodshed.  THAT I DO NOT WANT!  I RESIST THAT with all that is within me.

The Two Wars of which I refer are The Coming Civil War and the Spiritual War that is now being waged in my beloved America.  The original anarchist, rebel, and protester was Lucifer (the devil or satan) himself.  From the time of his eviction from heaven and fall to the earth, he has waged war against the children of God, God, and everything right, good, and moral.  He is, as is reflected in numerous passages of Scripture (Genesis 3:4-5; John 8:44; 2 Corinthians 11:3, 14; Ephesians 6:11; Revelation 12:9; Revelation 19:20 to list a few).  Paul warned in 2 Timothy 3:13, “But evil men and seducers will wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”  The scripture of the blind leading the blind comes to mind because in this hour we are witnessing the deceived deceiving.  No wonder both Jesus and Stephen could pray, “Father, forgive them…”  Jesus added, “for they know not what they do.”  You may not believe in God and consider those of us who do, as fools, but ONE DAY, you will come face to face with the reality that GOD IS.  It may come after you have experienced the destruction of Evil and suffered loss beyond your imagination.

I believe the devil, the great deceiver, has gained inroads into the minds of men and women, most of whom would be appalled at the idea they are being used by the devil.  They have been indoctrinated by the media, politicians, Hollywood, and most of all through our Educational System.  That tool became readily available to the destroyers because WE SLEPT when we should have been CAREFULLY WATCHING.  Parents for the past several generations placed unwarranted trust in the Educational System and failed to carefully filter their children’s education or indoctrination.  NO, I am not declaring that ALL TEACHERS are bad, they assuredly are not.  BUT I AM declaring that the objective of far too many within the System has been to reshape the thinking of generations and thereby achieve the stated objective of Barack Obama, “fundamental transformation” of America.  Not only have parents been negligent but so has the CHURCH or more specifically the CLERGY.  Much of the Church world bought what the liberal, progressive, globalist was selling and took a “hands-off” approach to matters of government or politics.  We sat silently as the curriculum shifted to a revisionist position, stripped our schools of any offering of moral foundation and biblical truth.  Too often, we lamented the change to our congregations but offered no clear-cut warnings or pathways to combat the atrocity we were witnessing, and our children have been deceived.

It is my firm belief that without divine intervention we are witnessing the demise of our Republic.  YES, I believe it is critical that we get out the vote, go to the polls and cast our ballots, inundate our elected officials with email, text, faxes, letters, and phone calls expressing our desires.  YES, I believe it is vital that we speak to everyone we have any influence with and to those with whom there is a door of opportunity, presenting truth, facts, and reality with civility.  YES, I believe it is imperative that we demonstrate a willingness to listen and have an open discussion regarding issues, problems, and solutions.  BUT, I do not believe that we currently have the level of involvement, enlightenment on a large enough scale, or the manpower to stem the tide of evil WITHOUT God’s divine intervention.  That may sound “doom and gloom” to some, and all I say rejected as a result.  BUT, please, please, please, HEAR ME – I believe that we win this war if we follow some basic guidelines.

First, those who are given to prayer must become INTERCESSORS.  Without prayer, we will find that our efforts are like rain on a tin roof, noise with little substance.  Prayer energizes with supernatural strength, endurance, courage, and wisdom like few other things we can do.  Therefore, the first step in turning this tide is PRAYER!

Second, we must INVEST ourselves in the war.  We will not do that until we fully believe there is a war and grasp the intensity and reality of that war.  I declare to you, that if the Left succeeds in the Mid-Term Elections they will immediately come after your Liberties and Inalienable Rights including Freedom of Speech, Right to Keep and Bear Arms, your Right to follow the Convictions of your Faith and demand at the threat of prison or worse unless you COMPLY.  I sometimes feel that my warnings are falling from my lips or my pen and going no further than my lips or the page upon which they have been written.  You are not simply becoming involved in politics but the Fight for Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.  This is the Second American Revolution and could become the Second Civil War if the spiritual forces of darkness are successful in heating the pot to the point of boiling over.

Third, we must RETURN to our founding principles and our national moral moorings.  Parents, you must reassert your parental authority and assume your parental responsibilities.  You are mandated by God to oversee the upbringing of your children.  In fact, Proverbs 22:6 instructs parents to “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it.”  That is not the government, the educational system, or the community’s job IT IS YOURS!  Likewise, Pastors, you must once again become “Watchmen on the Walls” and SOUND THE ALARM when there is a danger.  You must not only inform of the danger but detail a strategy and provide a shelter for the people to run to and to stand firm against the flood tide of darkness that is coming.  NO, we are not to hide behind the four walls of the church but take up the armor and weapons of spiritual warfare and STAND using those weapons to pull down strongholds.  Again, some will take exception to this strategy, but it is what I believe and if it resonates with you embrace it and join those of us fighting for America and for Faith, Family, and Freedom!

I do not vote for the Republicans simply because I believe them to necessarily be godly or of impeccable moral character.  I vote for them because when I view the platform of the Democratic Party, I find it impossible to reconcile my faith or my patriotism with that party platform.  If it were only the issue of abortion, that would be enough to repel me and prevent me from voting for the Democrat, but if you want any hope of limited government, secure borders, Freedom of Speech, Religion, and the Right of Self-Defense, you cannot vote Democrat.  If you have any desire to see the federal bureaucracies brought to a place of accountability you cannot vote Democrat.  I pray that the blindness that has afflicted many will be healed and the scales and blinders removed.  My prayer has been for a long time, “God expose the corruption in Washington.” 

Please forgive me for this lengthy article which some will call Roy’s Rant, but please take to heart the dangers we are now facing in America and join the fight for freedom.  America needs her patriots more today than possibly anytime in history.  WHAT IS YOUR FREEDOM WORTH?

WHAT ARE THE THREATS FOR AMERICA and OUR REPUBLIC???


BLOG POST 2 -

Clearly, I cannot name them all or do an exhaustive treatise on every threat that our Republic faces but I would like to list a few and hope they will resonate with you and cause you to step up your involvement in the fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom.  If I succeed in securing that response, I have been highly successful and achieved a much needed and greatly desired objective.

Someone said, “Just because you are paranoid doesn’t mean that somebody is not out to get you.”  That is funny but incredibly accurate, especially in today’s political climate and condition of ‘resistance’ and ‘agitation’.  America has faced some incredibly ominous threats in her short history since our founding in 1776.  Throughout the 19th century we faced threats from the nation from which we won our freedom, Great Britain and in the 20th century we faced grave threats from the Nazis, Imperial Japan, and the nuclear-armed Soviets not to mention the threats in the latter part of the 20th and thus far in the 21st centuries from Islamic Terrorism and Despotic Regimes lead by deranged heads including Iran and North Korea but dare not omit the Peoples Republic of China.  The external threats are very real and cannot be ignored but are they the most serious threats we face in this hour? 

I believe that the internal threats are being coupled with the external threats somewhat like adding glycerol to concentrated nitric and sulfuric acids to form nitroglycerin a highly explosive mixture.  Political Correctness, Toxic Liberalism, Progressivism, Socialism, Racism, and the intense Hatred that is now being boiled in the Caldron of public relationships and politics is about to boil over and chaos ensue that is impossible to contain.

What are some of the threats facing America as the Free Constitutional Republic?  You would have to include the Politicians who are greedy, duplicitous, and corrupt, Radical Islam, the Fake News or the MSM that is nothing more than a propaganda arm of Liberalism, and Identity Politics including Political Correctness.  You must also add, the assault on Christian values, the Second Amendment, the Opioid epidemic, the decimating of our military under the former administration, Illegal Immigration, and Education.  But, I have become convinced that the single greatest threat to our Constitutional Republic and our Form of Government is APATHY or INDIFFERENCE.  That is not a new condition and one that I hope is being eliminated but I continue to meet people who tell me, “I don’t worry about politics, I just leave that to the politicians.”  SERIOUSLY?  Would you leave the care of your children to a known pedophile?   Would you leave an alcoholic in charge of the local pub?  Would you leave a rapist in charge of the dressing room of the girl’s gym?  Would you leave a serial killer in charge of the local gun store?  HEAVEN FORBID! 

Leaving Politics to Politicians would be like leaving the rules of family life and discipline to your pre-teen and teenagers.  Would you leave the bank funds in the hands of a habitual gambler or undisciplined shopper?  There are polls and surveys available for viewing today that suggest that almost 70% of all Americans admit to losing sleep worrying over their finances and potential retirement woes.  Yet, those same Americans find time to recreate, work, follow their hobbies but ALMOST NO TIME for Politics?  If you understand that Politics and the result of the actions of Politicians affects our bottom line and every other detail of life, you will realize that it is sheer insanity to attempt to extract yourself from the Political.

The Educational Threat is very real and foreboding yet often ignored.  We (collectively) have contented ourselves with allowing the Educators to shape our children’s thinking, philosophy, and ideologies.  That is disastrous, and we are paying a very high price and that price will result in the loss of Liberty and Freedom if we do not wake up and become involved in the political.  The Progressive Liberal Leftists on the Democratic side of the aisle know the importance of the Educational System.  Unfortunately, we have become too accustomed to a microwave world and taking the easy road.  We have, too often, failed to become involved in the curriculum being taught our children and not paid enough attention to the moral values or lack thereof they are being taught in school.  Hillary Clinton once said, “It takes a village to raise a child.”  That embraces the view of the Leftists that the government knows more and better how to raise our children that we the parents.  That is contrary to the biblical view and the view that Americans have held for hundreds of years.  The basic responsibility of our children is us, the parents.

A caller called into the Rush Limbaugh show shortly after Donald Trump was inaugurated and said, “You have Trump for a short time; we have your children (then broke out in a maniacal laugh).”  I find that so disturbing I can hardly contain my anger and frustration.  For decades our high school students have been taught little to no history and even less patriotism.  We have all seen the street interviews where young people (and some not so young) which demonstrate the complete ignorance regarding basic historical facts that most of us learned in elementary school decades ago.  One of the greatest dangers our Republic has been and is an uneducated and uninformed public who then are charged with electing those who will serve in Congress.

I don’t have time to detail the dangers of Illegal Immigration, the Homeless problem, and the increasing violence in many of our larger cities under the governance of Liberal Leftists Democrats.  San Francisco now has funded “poop patrols” to pick up the feces left on the streets by the homeless.  Los Angeles is spending almost ½ Billion dollars on the homeless and Los Angeles County alone plans to spend almost $400 Million.  Violent Crime is reaching an epidemic level in cities like Chicago where almost 700 were killed by homicide in 2017 and thus far in 2018, almost 400 have already been documented.  Gun control is being pushed by the leftists, but Chicago has some of the most stringent gun laws on the books of any city in the world and is at the top of the list for gun violence.  The Leftist have no clue how to deal with the problem because it is a heart and head problem, not a gun problem.  It is a moral and spiritual problem and so long as there is the continued assault on Bible-based morality and the family while ignoring the real problem, the human condition it will only grow worse.

With the Main Stream Media, Hollywood, the Activist, and Leftist Politicians waging 24/7/365 war on this President, everything Conservative and Constitutional any hope of a resolution is remote, at best.  It is important for people to be INFORMED but dangerous for them to be INDOCTRINATED with a twisted and distorted version of Truth and Facts.  So long as there is avarice and greed in the human heart and politicians are allowed to prey on the clueless, enslave the weak, and distort reality we will continue down the road to destruction.  Can we Prevent the apparent Doom and Destruction?  YES!  We can, BUT ONLY IF we wake up and become involved at every level of government and life.  From the School Board to the White House we have a responsibility and duty to be informed and involved.  Government affects our Lives, therefore it is our RESPONSIBILITY to oversee the government and fire them when they don’t do what we hired them to do.

Will, you wake up and join me in this Fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom and VOTE NO ON THE LEFTIST in November?  I pray that you will and if you do we can begin the process of Restoring the Republic to its lofty and rightly place.

TRANSPARENCY – Democrat Transparency???


BLOG POST 1 - Transparency

I am angered and amused by the hypocrisy of the Liberal Leftists on the Democrat side of the political ledger.  They are clamoring for TRANSPARENCY with Judge Kavanaugh and talking about the great travesty of our political and constitutional system if EVERY SINGLE DOCUMENT connected to him in any manner is not revealed.  Before you scream, “What’s wrong with that?” I ask you to turn back the pages of history just a few years and consider the position of the Democrats.  For example, Senator Durbin you are attempting to make it sound like not having every single document regarding Judge Kavanaugh the end of the world.  However, your position regarding Benghazi, Hillary’s emails from an unsecured server to a foreign government was possibly nothing more than her signing up for Yoga. I’m not sure what foreign government she would have needed to contact for that purpose, but alas that was the position of the Left.  NOW, it is the difference between life and death if EVERY SINGLE DOCUMENT is not brought to the light and the time required by the Left to peruse them would be years, not months.  THERE YOU HAVE IT, that is the plan – DELAY, DELAY, DELAY. If the Democrats had a history of TRANSPARENCY I could accept their diatribe and rhetoric now, but they have not been.

Senator Durbin had the audacity to say to Judge Kavanaugh, “If you believe that your public-service record is one that you can stand behind and defend, I hope that at the end of this you will ask this Committee to suspend until we are given all the documents, until we have the time to review them, and then we resume this hearing.  What I’m saying to you is basically this: if you will trust the American people, they will trust you.  But if your effort today continues to conceal and hide documents, it raises a suspicion,” Durbin said.  “For the sake of this nation, for the sanctity of the Constitution that we both honor, step up.  Ask this meeting, this gathering, to suspend until all the documents of your public career are there for the American people to see.”  HYPOCRISY is too kind a word, but I don’t use profanity so it’s the best I can muster for Senator Durbin and the Leftist howling that is taking place.  His qualifications are not their focus but his UNWILLINGNESS to be a Leftist Political Activist on the Court that troubles them.  His stance on the Constitution that is similar to Justice Antonin Scalia is what troubles them.  His belief that Judges are not players, but umpires troubles them.  In short, he is not one of them, so he is unacceptable and unqualified in their minds.  Their hypocrisy over how they treated Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the nominees of the former president reflect their true view of transparency.

Now regarding the much-discussed New York Times’ release of the so-called White House Senior Official Memo I have several observations.  First, if this a real memo from a real person who is a Senior Member of the Trump White House, the person is a liar.  Before you lose your cookies over that statement let me explain.  That person, presuming it is a man, if he is, in fact, a Senior Member of the Trump Staff, he had to LIE to the President regarding his political position.  If you are okay with a person doing that to gain an inside track to shipwreck this president, then you are devoid of the very things you accuse Trump of lacking – Character and Integrity!  Get mad at me if you please, and unfriend me on Facebook, stop reading my blogs, and don’t give me the time of day, that’s your choice.  I do not believe that “the end justifies the means.”  This person acknowledged themselves as being part of the ‘resistance’ and ‘Deep State.’  If you can applaud the desire to unconstitutionally overthrow a president in a political coup then you need to pause and rethink your position.  Do you really want to open that can of worms?

I do not believe any president would employ a person that is adamantly against him as a Senior Member of his staff.  That would be suicidal politically, and I don’t believe any of our former presidents wanted to commit political suicide.  Second, the assertions or allegations are laughable and could have been written by anyone and would not require Insider Information.  They are generalities, for the most part, and parroting of the Liberal Leftists talking points.  The president is painted as being ‘amoral’ with no discernible moorings to ‘first principles.’  The assertion that he is anti-trade and anti-democratic is amusing.  He has helped trade and if anti-democratic is being Anti the Leftist Democrats I can buy that be if the assertion is that he is Anti our system of government that is absurd.  This so-called memo brings up the favorite song of the Democrats regarding Trump and would sing that song about any Republican President who did not dance to their tune, THE 25TH AMENDMENT.  The lines that are the most troubling are, “Given the instability many witnessed, there were early whispers within the cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment, which would start a complex process for removing the president. But no one wanted to precipitate a constitutional crisis. So, we will do what we can to steer the administration in the right direction until — one way or another — it’s over.”   That last sentence is more than a little troubling it is alarming!  The claim that their effort to overturn and overthrow a sitting president is not the work of the Deep State but the work of the Steady State is astounding.  Steady State?  This individual, if he/she exists, deems him/herself as the guardian of democracy and the Real America resisting Tyranny and like Mighty Mouse, rushing to save the day.

The Democrats love this because it is a feeble attempt to paint themselves as the true patriots and guardians of liberty who are willing to work with the other side to achieve what is best for America.  Seriously?  Look at how they are dealing with Judge Kavanaugh, and how they have addressed every item the Republicans have presented to Congress.  WILLING TO WORK TOGETHER?  In what world?  When have they done that?  They think bipartisanship is the Republicans signing off on what the Democrats want and even then, they trash the GOP and all of us who do not vote Democrat as more evil than Lucifer himself.  This memo then takes a shot at the millions of us who voted for Donald Trump saying, “The bigger concern is not what Mr. Trump has done to the presidency but rather what we as a nation have allowed him to do to us. We have sunk low with him and allowed our discourse to be stripped of civility.”   SERIOUSLY?  Who has stripped the discourse of civility?  Who, The Democrats, the Activist, the Resistance, that’s who!

In my view, and that of some Constitutional Scholars and Legal Experts that I have talked to and read their opinions, this memo constitutes or borders on TREASON.  It is an attempt to overthrow a legitimate president and is a direct assault on our System of Government.  You may disagree, and that’s your privilege but before you call me names, look at the good things that have happened in the first two years of this president and the fact that this was a legitimate election!  The Economy alone should be enough to be thankful Hillary Clinton was not allowed to continue the destructive economic policies of Barack Obama.  There is more, much more, but I will leave it at that.  November 6, 2018, is a day that may well live in Infamy for America.  What we do on that day will determine our Republic’s future.

Blog Post 3 - My Country

The classic written by Samuel Francis Smith in 1831, begins, “My country, ‘tis of thee, sweet land of liberty…”  It speaks of the land where our fathers died, the land of the pilgrim’s pride and called for Freedom to ring from every mountainside.  It is a song that embodies patriotism and love for America and recognizes God’s hand in our Liberty and Freedom.  It recognizes that Liberty and Freedom are the work of God through inspiration in the hearts of men and women everywhere.  This song, calls upon the Almighty God of Heaven to PROTECT us and to let our land long be bright with Freedom’s Holy Light.   WHAT A PRAYER through song! 

Today, we have politicians, Hollywood liberals, the Media, and Pro-Athletes using such vitriolic language and rhetoric they are inciting violence and fanning the flames of hate to epic proportions.  At the same time, they claim they are the ones who are trying to stamp out the fires of discord.  I suppose they believe they are fighting fire with fire, but the problem is the incessant diatribe is coming from the Left not those on the Right.  I expect to be attacked for that statement, but for the most part, those on the Right have not engaged in the vitriolic nastiness and malevolence of the Left.  Yes, there are some on the Right who want to dive into the same cesspool and wallow therein, but most of us do not want to stoop that low and would prefer an open and honest conversation about the issues.  We will not cave to the demands of Toxic Liberalism and give up our rights or kowtow to the whims of the so-called resistance, but we will discuss the issues and seek viable solutions.

Those on the Left are demanding censorship of any opinion not consistent or compatible with their own while at the same time insisting they are the champions of Freedom of Speech.  If Speech is not Free for everyone it is Free for no one!  If we are to defend the 1st Amendment, then everyone on both sides of the aisle MUST know what it provides.  The 1st Amendment states: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people to peaceably assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”  It is my belief that far less than 50% know what is provided in the 1st Amendment of our American Constitution and therefore cannot argue for or against it intelligently.

Congress has no business in matters of religion UNLESS the practice of that religion endangers the populace and those practicing it.  The Framers and Founders sought to ensure that the Government, unlike that of Great Britain did not establish a national church.  They wanted everyone to have the liberty to follow their conscience and worship according to the dictate of their heart.  They wanted churches to be free to proclaim their faith and that would include churches proclaiming a faith other than Christianity.  We cannot censor anyone without opening the door to censoring everyone!  It is those religions that seek to physically harm or enslave everyone not adhering to their doctrine and method of government and life that require closer scrutiny and may require limitations due to the dangers they present to other citizens.  EVERYTHING must be done PEACEABLY.   Those on the Left have demonstrated a desire to coerce people of the Christian Faith to cede their beliefs and accommodate beliefs and lifestyles that violate their conscience.  That is wrong and violates the Constitution.  Those same people are willing to all the followers of religions such as Islam to refuse services when it violates their doctrinal beliefs.  That is more than hypocritical it is a direct assault on the 1st Amendment Rights of Christians and IT IS WRONG!

Congress MUST NEVER abridge our Right to our own opinion and the expression thereof publicly or privately.  No, it does not allow for anyone, members of Congress, Activist Groups, the MSM, Hollywood, or any other group to incite riots and call for the physical harm of those disagreeing with their ideology.  That is happening today with the continual calls for violence against any of the supporters of Donald Trump and the Conservative agenda.  They are excused and even invoke the name of God claiming to be messengers of the Creator when their actions and words are converse of the teachings of the Bible, especially the New Testament.

There is, in my view, nothing that President Trump or anyone on the Right can do that would appease the proponents of Toxic Liberalism.  Nothing short of death would appease them and then that would probably only be satisfactory if the death was the result of violence and much pain was incurred in the process.   The song, ‘My Country, ‘tis of Thee’ gives us a pathway and identifies a mindset required for us to have HEALING IN AMERICA!  During the 8 years of Barack Obama, many of us were terribly distraught and discouraged about the direction of our Republic.  There was not the immediate and continued demand that he be harmed, his family harmed, nor the expressed desire for the economy to fail as there is today.  I am stunned at how many express their desire and willingness for America’s economy to collapse simply to harm the President.  What about the millions of Americans that would also suffer?  How is that justifiable and how can that be ascribed as righteous?  IT IS DIABOLICAL.

Let’s look back at the song and consider what it offers and calls for:

  1. My country, ’tis of thee, Sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing; Land where my fathers died, Land of the pilgrims’ pride, from ev’ry mountainside Let freedom ring!

[What a powerful and wonderful attitude and expression.  From every mountainside – LET FREEDOM RING!  But, for Freedom to Ring throughout the Land it must ring for all.]

  1. My native country, thee, Land of the noble free, thy name I love; I love thy rocks and rills, thy woods and templed hills. My heart with rapture thrills like that above.

[The Love of Country and the awareness of her beauty and provision should prompt everyone to desire and demand that Freedom for All be desired and acquired.]

  1. Let music swell the breeze and ring from all the trees Sweet freedom’s song; Let mortal tongues awake; Let all that breathe partake; Let rocks their silence break, the sound prolong. 

[Freedom is sweet music but hate deafens the hearing.  Freedom’s song must be sung by all and for all or it not sung at all.]

  1. Our fathers’ God, to thee, Author of liberty, to thee we sing; Long may our land be bright with freedom’s holy light. Protect us by thy might, Great God, our King!

[This verse identifies what our Founders and the Framers alluded to time and again, the Provision and Providence of God.  Our Rights come from Him, not from government.  Therefore, it is imperative that we cease the vitriolic rhetoric and accept the truth that EVERYONE has certain inalienable rights.]

We can disagree politically, socially, morally, economically, intellectually, and spiritually but we MUST NEVER seek to silence all opposition, THAT IS NOT AMERICA it is DESPOTISM.   I believe that those following the Toxicity of Liberalism expressed in the National Democratic Party are ANTI all that America stands for and I oppose them and will VOTE NO on the Democrats in November.  My Country, ‘tis of thee, I will stand and defend you so long as I draw breath.

SHOULD WE TRUST THE PROGNOSTICATORS OF TODAY???


BLOG POST 1 - Prognosticators

There are many self-proclaimed prophets in the world today and some of them are incredibly intelligent in various sectors but have made some epic fails in their prognostications of coming things.  J.G. Ballard, the writer once said, “If enough people predict something it won’t happen.”  That makes me laugh because the sheer number of people predicting something will impact it only to the degree their predictions influence people to do the things required to fulfill their prophecies.  Otherwise, the number of prognosticators agreeing will have little to no effect on the outcome and often awards the prize of “egg on the face” for those jumping on the bandwagon of a popular prediction.

My reason for addressing this is my interest over the past several decades at predictions on various fronts and the fulfillment or lack thereof.  I have discovered some that are incredibly humorous and speak more to the mindset of a particular era than the prognostication powers of the person making the prediction.  Since, only God knows for sure what the future holds, I always take a political, economic, or social prediction with a grain of salt.  In spiritual matters, I immediately take the prediction to the Bible and filter it through the Word of God as my initial reaction.  If it bears up under the scrutiny of the Bible, then I make it a matter of prayer.

Recently, Dr. Walter Williams wrote an article on this subject and identified some epic fails among the more recent ‘experts’ prior to the election of President Donald Trump.  Those prognosticators were predicting THE END OF THE WORLD on many fronts were Trump to win the election.  Some of them, such as former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers predicted that if (and that was a big IF to him) Donald Trump was elected, there would be a protracted recession within 18 months.  OOPS!  You are no longer regarded as a prophet Mr. Summers.  Just prior to the election, in an attempt to frighten the voters, The Washington Post ran an editorial with the inch-high headline “A President Trump Could Destroy the World Economy.”  Well, Washington Post HERE’S YOUR SIGN.  You are kicked out of the Prognosticators Club.  Steve Rattner, a Democratic financier and former head of the National Economic Council sounded his alarm and prognostication, “If the unlikely event happens and Trump wins, you will see a market crash of historic proportions.”  Mr. Rattner, you now join Mr. Summers and the Washington Post as False Prophets.  They were not alone.  I add one more for good measure by the illustrious Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman wrote after it was apparent that Trump was going to win, “the world is very probably looking at a global recession, with no end in sight.”  Mr. Krugman has been wrong so many times I’m not sure why anyone listens to this little boy crying wolf, but they do.  Mostly, they listen to those prognosticators because they are saying what they want to hear and hoping they are right.  I find it absolutely amazing that anyone would DESIRE the American Economy to collapse to bring about defeat for Donald Trump.  Why would any American not want a growing economy that would benefit ALL AMERICANS?  The simple answer is Political Ideology and Agenda rather than genuine interest in America and Americans.

Let’s take a trip back in time and consider some amazing predictions that were abject failures and today we realize their absurdity.  I hope this is both enlightening, challenging, and in some small way amusing.

  • In the 1400s the committee advising King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of Spain regarding Christopher Columbus’ proposed adventure in 1486 said, “So many centuries after the Creation, it is unlikely that anyone could find hitherto unknown lands of any value.” 
  • In the 1500s came Nostradamus who created 6,338 vague and usually updated prophecies you’ll eventually get something correct.  I compare that to predicting that a person is going to die but not putting a date on it.  The Mayans at least gave us a date for the end of the world.  Yep, it was 2012 and I do believe we are still here.
  • In the 1600s the Roman Catholic Church in 1616 offered, “The view that the sun stands motionless at the center of the universe is foolish, philosophically false, utterly heretical…the view that the earth is not the center of the universe and even has a daily rotation is philosophically false, and at least an erroneous belief.”  OOPS but consider the mindset of that day.
  • In the 1700s Thomas Malthus argued in 1798 that population growth would outpace agricultural production.  He said, “Assuming then my postulata as granted, I say, that the power of population is indefinitely greater than the power in the earth to produce subsistence for man.  Population, when unchecked, increases in a geometrical ratio.”  Now, you know that Population Control and Agenda 21 of the United Nations is not a new idea.
  • In the 1800s we find Dr. Alfred Velpeau a surgeon in 1839 advancing his theory, “The abolishment of pain in surgery is chimera.  It is absurd to go on seeking it…knife and pain are two words in surgery that must forever be associated in the consciousness of the patient.”  THANK GOD HE WAS WRONG!  How about Lord Kelvin, President of the Royal Society, 1883 – “X-rays will prove to be a hoax.”  You are now President of the Here’s Your Sign Society, sir.  Lord Kelvin also argued, “Heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible.”  There were predictions that drilling for oil would prove to be insanity and that locomotives could never replace the stagecoach or that the telephone would prove to be an interesting fantasy with no sustaining life.
  • In the 1900s H.G. Wells in 1901 said, “I must confess that my imagination refuses to see any sort of submarine doing anything but suffocating its crew and floundering at sea.”   Then President of the Michigan Savings Bank advised Henry Ford’s attorney, Horace Rackham, not to invest in the Ford Motor Company, 1903 saying, “The horse is here to stay but the automobile is only a novelty-a fad.”  In 1923, Nobel Prize Physicist Robert Millikan predicted, “There is no likelihood man can ever tap the power of the atom.”  In 1936, the New York Times declared, “A rocket will never be able to leave the Earth’s atmosphere.”  There are some today who still believe that!  You might recall Life Magazine declaring in 1970, “By 1985, air pollution will have reduced the amount of sunlight reaching earth by one half.”

Let me offer a couple more humorous things from the past.  In 1919, Hall of Fame baseball player, Tris Speaker predicted regarding Babe Ruth, “Taking the best left-handed pitcher in baseball and converting him into a right fielder is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard.” 

How about William Kristol who told Fox News on December 17, 2006, “If [Hillary Clinton] gets in a race against John Edwards and Barack Obama, she is going to be the nominee.  Gore is the only threat to her.  Barack Obama is not going to beat Hillary Clinton in a single Democratic primary.  I’ll predict that right now.”  What a genius!

Let me tie this in a little bow and you can do what you will with it.  I gave these simply to point out that all the Polls said Trump could not win, but he did.  The Polls are telling us that the voters prefer the Democrats to the Republicans and the Democrats will regain control of Congress in 2018 and the White House in 2020.  I don’t trust them and with all the failures in Polls and Prognostications, you should not either.  They are often designed to discourage participation by Conservatives and Republicans.  If they can get you to throw in the towel and consider it a lost cause they can win but if you and I go to the voting booths in November and exercise our Constitutional Right to Vote we can make these modern Prognosticators False Prophets.  WHAT SAY YOU?  Will, we unite and defeat those who want to transform American into something other than the Free Constitutional Republic with Free Enterprise?  I SAY YES!

DO NOT FORSAKE ME, Oh My Darling…


BLOG POST 1 - Forsake

Republicans in Congress, you’d better be careful that you don’t trifle with our loyalty in your betrayals or you just might find that we file for political divorce.  Hank Williams’ song, “Your Cheating Heart” comes to mind when I review some of the actions of the Republican Establishment and many of the rank-in-file blindly following sheepishly in willful obedience.  Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan have been anything but genuine in their commitment to the Promises made on the Campaign Trail.  Sometimes, it seems they have more in common with the Leftists on the other side of the aisle than their constituents.  I’ll get to some specifics momentarily but let me blow off a little steam first.

I am stunned and angered by the MASSIVE spending bill that the Senate passed in the tune of $675 BILLION.  Supposedly it is to fund the country’s defense, but it is also to fund the domestic entitlement programs that now exist.  Some of what they list as “entitlements” elicits a sigh of disgust from me because some need to go the way of the dinosaur and Dodo Bird and others are those things that hard working, tax paying Americans funded in order to have a smidgen of a sense of security in retirement.

I consider their actions a slap in the face of President Trump and all of us who voted for him and them in the last election.  If the President wants to fund our national defense, then he has to sign off on the enormity of their ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS.  Congress was given the ‘power of the purse’ intentionally by the Framers and Founders as a means of check and balance not as carte blanche to run up an unpayable tab at the expense of the citizens.  The Democrats are ecstatic because the Establishment Republicans are acting like Democrats, so why not celebrate?  The Senate bill provides basic funding for the Pentagon but dramatically increased spending for ENTITLEMENTS.  The Democrats got everything they wanted and that is deeply troubling.  Republicans, I have been arguing that you are different from the Democrats, so start acting like it.

This measure guts, the President’s Immigration agenda and opens a wide door for them to block the border wall, reduce or restrict the Border Patrol and ICE in significant ways.  Senator Patrick Leahy (D) released a statement that the Democrats were successful in blocking ALL of President Trumps domestic budget plans.  How is that a victory for those of us who want reduced spending, limited government, a strong national defense, and a secure border?  IT IS NOT!  The Senate refused to approve the President’s request for 3,000 additional beds at the ICE detention facilities. What that means is that ICE and the Border Patrol will have nowhere to put their detainees and force them to practice Obama’s ‘catch and release’ program.  THAT IS NOT WHAT WE VOTED FOR!  In the House, Paul Ryan will have the option of voting on the bill Conservatives have produced or team up with the Liberal Democrats and vote on the surrender bill.  Unfortunately, he has elected to follow the latter option every time he has been afforded the choice.  I expect nothing different from him on this.

With the recurring crimes of violence committed against citizens by ILLEGALS, one would think that the Republicans and Democrats would want to SECURE THE BORDER, but they don’t.  The Democrats want an open border, at least in part, to build a broader Democrat voting base, and the Republicans seem to cower in the shadows afraid of being called a derogatory name.  The Leftist are uniform in attempting to declare that the Mollie Tibbets murder is not an immigration issue, but it is.  I am unafraid to say that Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan through their inaction or allow the Leftist to win are complicit in killing Americans.  I know that is a serious charge and one I probably should not make but it is my view.  The Democrats are consistent in their inconsistency declaring that Walls will not stop illegals but on the other hand insist that Gun Bans will stop violent crimes and mass shootings.  How about some consistency, Leftist?  Sorry, I briefly forgot that your logic is usually illogical, and you are not about solutions but agendas and power.

I am hopeful that enough voters will contact their Senators and Congressmen demanding that THEY DO SOMETHING about the borders that the GOP Establishment blockade will crumble like the Berlin Wall.  Ryan and McConnell have demonstrated their willingness to take actions to impede the progress of the Trump agenda or the agenda promised to the voters by both Donald Trump and the GOP.  If you are not angry, you should be.  If you are not vocal, you should be.  If you are not actively engaged in communicating with your elected officials your desire, you should be.  We no longer have the luxury of watching from the sidelines this fight is too fierce and too important to let someone else fight for us.  WE MUST GET THEIR ATTENTION! 

Republicans in Washington, I plead with you “Do Not Forsake Us” or you just might find that your willingness to be Democrat Lite will result in your becoming the Minority Party once again.  That period is still producing a harvest that none of us want to reap but as the Bible says, “You reap what you sow” and we have “sowed to the wind and are facing the whirlwind.”  We have the opportunity in November of keeping control of Congress and then press our elected officials to make a change in leadership.  In the House, there will be a new speaker and we can have one that is both Constitutional and Conservative.  We may not get past McConnell in the Senate but if enough people pressure the Senators, we just might have him get on board out of fear for his position.  It may be a pipe dream, but it is a hope that I hold in my heart, am working to see happen, and praying diligently to become a reality.  November is critical and even with the betrayal by the Republican Establishment we dare not let the Democrats regain control or we will pay a price none of us can afford.

AMERICA – We Cannot Afford Politicians…


BLOG POST 2 - Politicans

Our Freedom and Liberties are in dire straits largely because of Politicians and their Petty Politics.  I realize that with our wonderful system of government we will never be devoid of Politicians and as long as we have Politicians we will have Petty Politics, so what do we do?  There is a simple solution, but it is so simple, it is impossibly complex and would require a unification of ALL AMERICANS, therefore, it will never happen.  With that said, I could stop here and say – THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO, but THERE IS!  I know that I’ve sounded contradictory but if you will stay with me I’ll try to make sense out of the senselessness and explain what I mean, “We Cannot Afford Politicians.”

Because of the Career Elitist Politicians in Washington, D.C. in both parties we have a COST PROBLEM that is so astronomical it has created a debt we will never pay and a doom that is unavoidable.  How’s that for ‘gloom and doom?”  But, I truly do not see ‘gloom and doom’ but a ‘ray of hope’ for America IF and I do mean IF we will WAKE UP.   I want to address some issues that are so staggering the reasonable response is FEAR.  Our Founding Fathers and the Framers gave us ample warning against allowing Politicians to make Politics a Career, but we failed to heed their warnings.  They warned us about people with no scruples and of lacking moral character, but we failed to heed their warnings.  They warned us about allowing Politicians to load us with insurmountable debt, but we failed to heed their warnings. President Eisenhower warned us, “every step we take towards making the State our Caretaker, by that much we move toward making the State our Master.”  Benjamin Franklin warned, “man will ultimately be governed by God or by tyrants.”  Thomas Jefferson lamented, “History, in general, only informs us of what bad government is.”  The warnings were ample, but we have failed to heed their warnings.

How did we fail?  We have allowed politicians to make a career out of politics and repeatedly return to Washington, DC and establish a network of cronyism that makes them rich and powerful and strips us of many of our liberties and freedoms.  We have allowed them to confiscate our money for purposes the Constitution made no provision.  We have allowed politicians to bribe the public with entitlements in order to buy votes.  I do not care if the politician is a Democrat or a Republican if they violate the Constitution they are no longer deserving of serving in Congress.  We have watched the Legislators sleep while Rome burned in the sense that various bureaucracies and governmental agencies to violate our rights and become partisan to the point of damaging our entire System of Government and our National Security and National Sovereignty.  THAT MUST END!

Recently, I saw documents from the Department of Health and Human Services that revealed that “Unaccompanied Alien Children” were processed into this country during the Obama administration.  Those ‘children’ included ‘violent criminals, drug smugglers, and human traffickers.’  Children?  Maybe chronologically but not emotionally or morally.  There were those who admitted to murder and being members of the MS-13 Gang.  Some of the children were raped and/or molested en route to the United States.  There were numerous reports of those children being “forced to kill” for Cartels and Human Traffickers.  Politicians have created an environment in which America Citizens are in danger physically from these “children.”  Because of the policies of the Obama administration and the ineptitude and inaction of Congress we do not know where most of those ‘children’ are today or what crimes are being committed.  THIS MUST END!

The fiscal cost of ILLEGAL Immigration is far beyond what anyone seems to realize or want to admit.  It is reported that between 51 and 76% of low-skilled immigrants are collecting some sort of welfare.  America, we cannot afford Politicians playing Politics with our economy or our national security.  The dangers posed both economically and physically are far too great to allow this to continue.  The Democrats have removed the ‘work requirements’ and ‘asset tests’ creating a climate where a person can receive welfare or some other form of ‘entitlement’ without having to make even a minuscule attempt to get out of their poverty.  NO, they can sit on their duffs and draw a check from those of who work and pay taxes.  THIS MUST END!

Recently, the followers of Toxic Liberalism on the Left removed all pretense of their intent to end Free Speech or Free Speech for anyone not agreeing with them.  They want to eliminate I.C.E., erase our borders, institute socialism, strip us of our right to ‘keep and bear arms’, and now their aim is squarely on our 1st Amendment Rights.  The New York Times contended that “Conservatives have weaponized the First Amendment.”  We have witnessed the perceived need for “Safe Spaces” for the Snowflakes of our Society, especially on College Campuses.  The argument is those fragile souls will be so traumatized by any views not agreeing with theirs.  Today, virtually everything is deemed ‘hate speech’ if it is not liberal and in harmony with the Liberal Leftist Socialist Progressive agenda.  Everything is labeled as some Phobic Mindset, Bigotry, Racist, Misogynists, or some other hateful characterization.  We are barred from mediums such as Facebook, YouTube, Google, Twitter or put in the P.C. Jail for a time.  THIS MUST END!

Religious Freedom is becoming endangered worldwide and America has been somewhat free of Religious Persecution for most of her history, that is changing.  The Democrats or those adhering to the Toxic Liberal view have virtually declared war on Religious Freedom especially if that is Christianity or even Judaism.  The number of nations worldwide that have placed significant limitations on religious freedom has risen to 83 which amounts to about 42% of countries.  The precursors of Religious Persecution are being seen in the rulings of States and Courts that American citizens who operate private businesses must accommodate views that violate their core religious convictions.  That is, if those views are biblical, if not then there is amazing exceptions made and those following traditional biblical views are ordered to comply or be put out of business, jailed, or fined excessively.  THAT MUST END!

The trampling of our Constitution by Politicians is an ever-present threat to our American System of Government and the longer we elect and re-elect politicians who refuse to fulfill their oath of office to ‘protect and defend’ the Constitution we will have this problem.  No, the problem will continue to expand and enlarge.  If we continue on the path we have trod for the past 40-50 years we are signing the Death Warrant and writing the Obituary of the Republic.  THAT MUST END!

You may agree with little I have said, but I have only scratched the surface of THE WHY we cannot afford Politicians or Politicians who are intent on playing Politics with our Liberties and Freedoms.  What can we do?  WE CAN VOTE!  In this election, it is imperative that we defeat the Democrats and then in every successive election we must seek to replace the politicians who are not true Constitutionalist with those who are both Citizen Representatives and true Constitutionalist.  IT IS UP TO US and we cannot depend on the Politicians to Police themselves, that is our job.  We are the owners of our government and we need to begin to act like it.  POLITICS is not a spectator sport it requires the hands-on involvement of every citizen.  ARE YOU WILLING?

If we are talking about the politics and the diatribe of toxic liberalism, I’m not sure there is a bottom to the depth to which they will descend.  I cannot help but be amazed at the openness of many Leftist Politicians today, those in the Media, Hollywood, and Activist Groups called “The Resistance”.  We have known for a long time the disdain the Democrats have for our military.  By Democrats, I mean the politicians and not necessarily every person who identifies as a Democrat.  Hillary Clinton had numerous incidents where she either uttered or demonstrated contempt for our military personnel.  I’m sure that was partly because those men and women took their oath seriously and she considered them a threat to expose her where they to get too close.  But that is another story for another time.

During the testimony of disgraced and corrupt FBI Agent Peter Strzok before Congress, the disgraceful, disrespectful, and idiotic statement by various members of Congress came to the forefront.  However, none stooped so low and exhibited such disrespect for our men and women in arms who have been wounded in defense of this nation, as that of Congressman Steve Cohen (D-TN).  He said, “If I could I would give you a Purple Heart.”  That is diminishing that medal of recognition and is a slap in the face of every Veteran and those now serving.  It is more than shameful it is reprehensible, but demonstrates both the lack of appreciation for our military and the ever-growing view of the Leftists toward our military.  He later tried to “walk back” his comments but, as Pontius Pilate said to the Jewish Leaders regarding the inscription over Jesus’ Cross, “What I have Written I have Written.”  Congressman, “What You Said You Said.”  You can’t run from it and you can’t hide.  Those of us who have served find your attitude about as low as you can go.

The wonder boy, David Hogg, who has become nothing more than an attention whore has demonstrated his ignorance and the depth to which the Left will plunge once again.  He can’t get his facts straight, knows little of what he claims to be an expert on, and demonstrates why it is a bad idea to give most teenagers the right to vote.  He claimed, “The Pentagon promised citizenship to immigrants who served.  Now it might help to deport them.”  The facts are that only 40 of them were discharged out of the 100,000 serving. They were discharged because they could not pass checks for a security clearance, same as American citizens who fail that qualification.  How could a “gun control” advocate be for people handling firearms in the military that cannot pass a background check?  How Low Can You Go?  Well, the Leftist following their toxic liberalism will muddy the waters, change their standards, twist and pervert everything to prove their point, whatever that point might be.

I know it is old news now but the IG Report on the FBI is basically more spin and propaganda for the Leftists.  Someone said, it is Comey 2.0 and that is not far from the truth.  In the IG Report on the Clinton email investigation identifies the depth to which our Justice System has plunged and the real question is CAN WE GET IT BACK?  It is quite possible that the Deep State and Swamp have so much control over that arm of our government and has so many bureaucratic activists entrenched we will not.  I found numerous things disheartening.  They would have been laughable were they not so serious.  The IG Report tried to spin James Comey as being a “straight shooter”.  SERIOUSLY?   The same was offered regarding Mueller, Rod Rosenstein, and others.  It reveals the willingness of the Deep State’s bias is to Lie, Lie, and Lie.

Let’s consider the ‘straight shooter’ James Comey and the FBI with regard to Hillary Clinton’s intent.  Intent has nothing to do with the law and Comey, McCabe, Strzok, and even the IG justified her violations of protocol and law by using that defense but the Navy Seaman who demonstrated “no intent” to mishandle classified data was awarded a prison sentence.  How’s that for ‘straight shooting’?  There are many laws where the person breaking that law goes to jail but demonstrated no intent.  How about a person killing someone accidentally because they were incredibly careless?  That person goes to jail even though they never INTENDED to kill the other person.  Before you argue that I’m comparing apples to pinto beans let me remind you that the Laws for the Protection of Classified Data are there to PROTECT LIVES.  Breaking that trust and violating that law can and often does lead to the loss of American lives.  However, with regard to the ‘straight shooter’ James Comey and the whitewash of the IG Report, Hillary could be excused because of lack of intent.  We honestly do not know how many America lives have been or will be lost because of her CARELESSNESS if not WILLFUL VIOLATIONS.

Michael Flynn was indicted because he supposedly lied to the FBI, but there were no indictments against Hillary, whom Comey admitted lied or her associates that lied.  STRAIGHT SHOOTER and NO BIAS?  Look out for the flying pigs and don’t step in the Unicorn feces.  Hillary and her cohorts were not indicted because Strzok and the FBI were working on their Insurance Policy to invalidate the 2016 Election should Trump win, which he did.  Indicting Hillary or her subordinates would severely hamper that objective or destroy it completely.  But, the Leftists are willing to go to the depth of the ocean of corruption to achieve their objective.  How so many still cannot see this is somewhat bewildering.

I read an analogy that is apropos that I will share.  “Imagine a murder case where the prosecution has the murder weapon with only the defendant’s bloody fingerprints on it, has witnesses that placed the defendant at the crime scene, and testimony from multiple witnesses saying that the defendant had strong reason to kill the victim, but the prosecutor says since the defendant won’t confess to the murder they will not prosecute.  That’s what the IG report is.  Apparently unless one of the FBI officials admitted that political bias drove actions which were in favor of Hillary, the IG believes that it can’t say that the systematic bias shown in favor of Hillary and against Trump had any impact.”  (Tom Trinko)

We have a relatively simple choice in November. We can block the path of the Liberal Leftists Democrats or we can allow them to succeed in their attempt to reclaim control in Congress.  What would that mean?  Some argue, nothing, but I challenge you to consider the damage done during the 8 years of Barack Obama.  I challenge you to consider what is at stake with regard to our 1st & 2nd Amendment Rights.  I urge you to think about the Economy, Tax Cuts, Obamacare, the Borders, Illegal Immigration, and our standing in the world which directly impacts our National Security and Sovereignty.  The Democrats, if they reclaim control, will plunge us deeper into the abyss of destruction that was put in high-gear by Barack Hussein Obama, George Soros, and the followers of the Liberal, Leftist, Socialist, Globalist seeking to completely remake America into something of their liking rather than preserving her as the Constitutional Republic of our Framers and Founders.

BLOG POST 3 - Perlexed

I am not easily disturbed and the LORD helps me maintain a reasonably even keel in most things most of the time.  I know some will question that based on what I write and the challenges I present for those who are Liberal Democrats, RINOs and the NEVER TRUMP CROWD.  Yes, there are things that get my motor running and cause me to yell, ‘STOP THE INSANITY,’ but I do not lose my Hope, Confidence, and Faith because of those things.  I am concerned for America, not so much for me but for my children and grandchildren and the successive generations who will follow.  What will their America look like?  What will be the state of Political Correctness for them?  How many of our Freedoms and Liberties will have been infringed in the America they find my generation has left them with? 

Those of us who choose to support the President rather than Hillary Clinton, the RINOs, and the Liberal Democrats are accused of being “stupid, blind, misogynists, phobic, xenophobes, bigots, racist, and more.”  Those are not pleasant characterizations, but by and large, I follow the adage “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words…”  What about words?  I have a friend who says, “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words may get your butt kicked.” Words may make me angry and cause me to become more involved in the pursuit of truth and the reclaiming of our Constitutional Republic, but I try to keep from allowing them to hinder my labors or my willingness to have open discussions.  The one that is, in my view, the absolute worst is we are called a CULT. 

If we take the Merriam-Webster definition of a cult it might help us to grasp what is being said and open the door for me to ask the questions that continue to perplex me.  Shall we embark on that journey?  CULT per Merriam-Webster:  1. a religion regarded as unorthodox or spurious; also, its body of adherents.  There are the additional remarks in the definition that identify a person in a cult as one that has great devotion to a person, idea, object, movement, or work.  Then we also find the idea of “misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing.”  If that is what is meant by CULT, then some of it I can accept and some of it I cannot.

The idea, as presented by the NEVER TRUMPERS is that ALL Trump Supporters are ‘brain-dead, dolts,’ who blindly follow the man.  They believe that ANYONE who would vote for Trump or support any of his agenda, nominees, etc. are delusional and unworthy of being given the opportunity to speak or the benefit of the doubt.  They have tried and convicted President Donald J. Trump in their court of personal opinion and, to them, that is FINAL.  He, to them, is the scum of the earth, unworthy to breathe the breath that all human beings breath, and even if he did exactly what they had been in favor of, IT IS WRONG because HE IS WRONG.  I don’t believe that I am off base in that analysis.

That brings me to some questions that I’d like to ask every person who is a NEVER TRUMPER and refuses to consider anything that the President does as being good or worthy of praise.  If you are a NEVER TRUMPER and not a Democrat then:

  • Do you believe that Hillary Clinton would be better for America?
  • Do you believe that the 8 years of Barack Obama were good for America?
  • Do you believe that it would be good for America to allow the Democrats to regain control of Congress?
  • Is there anything that President Donald Trump could do that you would approve, other than the obvious resigning. 

I know those questions and these follow up ones will ignite the fuse on the inconsolable anger of those who are adamantly NEVER TRUMP in their political and ideological positions.  But, I must ask, is it pride that prevents you from acknowledging the achievements of the President since being inaugurated?  Do you consider Lower Taxes a bad thing?  Do You consider trying to find Originalist Jurist for the Supreme Court a bad thing?  Do you believe that securing our border is a bad thing?  Do you support a Strong Military?  Do You want to protect the 2nd Amendment and all our Inalienable Rights?  Those do not provide an exhaustive list but provide a platform from which to launch our consideration of CULTISM.

I feel compelled to ask if you believe that Hillary would be bad for America, Barack Obama’s administration did damage to our Republic, and should the Leftist to reclaim control in Washington it would be bad for any hope of the preservation of America as the Constitutional Republic, then who are the real Cultists?  You claim that you do not HATE but you incessantly spew forth vitriol and venom toward the President and anyone who wants what was promised on the Campaign Trail.  How is that anything but HATE?  You claim to be indifferent to him, yet virtually every word out of your mouth and every word you write is an attack on him and us, what can I consider that but HATE?

Those who are NEVER TRUMP, the Liberal Democrats, and the RINOs, in my view are misguided and in their view, I am.  Where does that put us?  Unless we are willing to acknowledge the possibility of our own misconceptions and misinterpretations of events, people, and situations, it places us on opposing sides of an abyss that is impossible to bridge.  Unless you believe that Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Barack Obama and the Liberal Leftists are better for America I ask that you consider what is at stake.  Donald Trump has and will do things that trouble me, but so did Ronald Reagan and every other president I have witnessed.  He is a flawed human being, just as we are.  If you truly believe, as the theory that is now being floated that he is totally owned by Putin, broke, and a Russian spy, then, by all means, stand your ground in opposition. I, on the other hand, believe that even through missteps, shooting from the lip when silence would have been more prudent, and allowing personal ego to prevail from time to time, Donald J. Trump wants to see America become what she has been, should be.  I believe that if we can somehow drain the Swamp, dismantle the Deep State, and restore the ownership and oversight of government to WE THE PEOPLE reducing its size and scope we can achieve the desired objective.  My faith demands that I do all I can to help America return to her moral moorings espoused in our founding.  My faith demands that I fight for the Unborn, defend the defenseless, and the recognition of our Inalienable Rights and Freedoms.  I see this as a binary choice because if I vote for a third-party candidate, at this juncture, that will enhance the possibilities of the Democrats to regain control and win.  You may disagree, and I defend your right to do so.

Once we defeat the Liberal Leftist Globalist Socialist Progressive Democrats in November THEN it is imperative that we begin, with earnest the process of ousting as many RINOs as possible in 2020 and beyond.  This is a marathon, not a sprint and although Donald Trump was not my first choice, he provides a hope of seeing the Promises which I voted for becoming reality.  Call me a Trump Cultist if you please but I hope you understand that I am Pro-America, an Originalist regarding the Constitution, Pro-Life, and Pro-God.  I have a life, not a political life, a religious life, a business life, a home life, and a social life.  I HAVE A LIFE, therefore, I invest myself as I do in the political because as America goes, so goes the world.
