Some may assume that I am saying we must, in the words of Jefferson, “water the tree of liberty with the blood of patriots” but that is not what I’m saying.  It may come to that but that is not the change that must transpire if we are to save the Republic without a violent blood-letting revolution.  I keep believing and hoping that the light will come on in the minds and hearts of people who, generally, are well-meaning and love America.  I don’t expect the light to come on in most of those who have been inculcated with the Marxist ideology and that America is evil and must be transformed.

Ronald Reagan said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.”  Today that has become, “We are just one election away from full-blown socialism and tyranny.”  Both identify a danger looming on the horizon for our American Republic and one that should never have been allowed to blossom and bloom, as it has. 

The reality and factuality of those statements mean that for too long and too many have been asleep at the wheel of life and allowed this to become a reality.  It means that ‘we the people’ ignored the warnings, became apathetic, and opted to ‘leave the politics to the politicians.’  The tragedy in that is we bought into the theory that ‘this too shall pass’ and what is happening is simply ‘cyclical.’ 

I have people, well-intentioned and well-meaning patriots, tell me, “Roy, this is just another bump in the road and since we have survived over 240 years, we will weather this storm too.”  I disagree.  The reason we have survived for over two centuries is that past generations took note of what was happening and were determined to maintain our freedom and liberty. Those previous generations understood the dangers and were committed to preventing socialism, Marxism, and tyranny from coming to America.  That is not 2020 and the danger is not only real but probably unavoidable.

We have had a cultural transformation in America, and it has not all been good.  We are in a cultural war and there are those who so devotedly believe that our founding was rooted in racism and evil it must be shuttered and a new system of government in its place.  The political and historic ignorance that allows that view to bear fruit is so ingrained it may not be possible to overcome. That is, short of the eventual suffering of all citizens at the hands of the tyrants and oligarchs that will assume power.  Sadly, at that point, it is too late to ‘transform America’ rightly and ‘restore America’ to her founding roots and principles.  The time is now and even an immediate shift in mindset will probably not totally prevent the damage and dangers.

I remember in the 1980’s hearing the Soviet defector Yuri Bezmenov repeatedly warning America of a danger.  Sadly, few listened, and our American pride said, “Hey, we have overcome evil before and we will never allow this to happen here.”  I am reminded of the warning of Proverbs 16:18, “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.”  We wrongly assumed that because we won the Revolutionary War, two World Wars, and turned back evil on numerous occasions this could not come to America.  We have seen it in other nations but assumed that Americans would unitedly resist and reject it. 

Bezmenov warned of what he called “demoralization.”  What he meant was the systematic and progressive undermining of a nation’s morality would make America ripe for a leftist revolution.  I have watched as our moral moorings have one by one been untethered and the ship of liberty has begun drifting toward destruction.  I have sounded the alarm only to have those of my faith and aligned with my political ideology insist that I am ‘crying wolf’ and this is just another political cycle, therefore no worries.  I wish I could believe that, but history and what I see the demand that I take an opposing view and continue to sound the alarm.

The concerted effort of the Democrats to overturn the 2016 election has been deeply troubling and signaled danger.  The unjust targeting of General Flynn and others connected to Trump has revealed how deep the depravity and how powerful and arrogant those seeking to ‘fundamentally transform’ America have become.  They have no fear of being exposed and no fear of being held accountable.  Why?  Many reasons, but one is the attitudes that are far too prevalent in America.  Apathy and entitlement coupled with hate and anger are breeding grounds for destruction.

The media bias is so pronounced that there are precious few outlets that even attempt to honestly report the news.  Most are so entrenched in the Leftist ideology that they are devoted warriors for the Left.  One college professor’s research suggests that the bias of the media aids the Democratic candidate 8-10 points in every election.  I suspect that is an underestimation because many if not most people only hear what the liberal media presents.  With that offering of reality being the only trough from which they feed, they believe it and act upon it. 

Big Tech has become another powerful arm of the ‘fundamental transform’ agenda as has Social Media.  It is estimated that Social Media can shift as many as 15 million votes to one party or the other and turn any election.  That, for this American, is frightening and I believe it to be a valid estimation.  Voter fraud, ballot harvesting was the key factor in flipping the conservative Orange County, California seat from the Republican ledger to the Democrat. 

America, we are now in the throes of a political and societal attempt to ‘appease’ those demanding concessions, reparations, and repentance for our sin of being America.  The ‘woke’ generation is now deeply entrenched in corporate America, some are occupying elected positions, and others now members of both the media and academia.  The indoctrination has moved from the classroom to the streets and permeates corporate America as well as Congress.  The entertainment industry for decades has been largely a leftists propaganda machine and the idolization of movie stars does not bode well for the Republic’s survival.

We either return to God, and our Constitutional foundations nullifying all bad laws, edicts, and evicting bad actors in government or we will become as extinct as the U.S.S.R. did in the Reagan years.  The question immediately becomes, “What then?”  If the Constitutional Republic is destroyed, what takes its place?  Another question must be “who will be safe?”  The truth is “No one will be safe!”  That includes those who are part of the power structure because evil and the power-crazed tend to devour their own.  America will become nothing more than a memory on the ash heap of history UNLESS!  

The “unless” demands a shift in our mindset regarding freedom and we realize that it must be defended for everyone or it is available to no one.  We must realize that God, not the government gave our inalienable rights.  We must realize that a limited government is our only hope of surviving as a Free people.  We must realize that the time is now to change.  We do not have decades, and this is not a bump in the proverbial road.  This is Life or Death, politically, societally, economically, and in some respects spiritually. 

As a Christian, I stand on the Bible and believe that if we honestly and earnestly make 2 Chronicles 7:14 the pursuit of our hearts and Matthew 6:33 the guide of our lives we can see America saved.  The elections have become manipulations not legitimate reflections of the true will of the people.  Those who stand for Liberty and against Autocracy enter the election as much as 10 points behind and only as we unitedly rise and cast our ballot can we hope to survive.  If you are not involved, you are abetting the destruction!

Please do not attempt to argue from the company line that due to COVID-19 we have to allow everyone to vote by mail to keep everyone safe.  That ship sailed with the many hypocrisies that have been exposed over the past few weeks and months including but not limited to the mass gatherings for riots.  Those were deemed socially acceptable requiring no ‘social distancing’ or even ‘mask-wearing’ because, after all, they were constitutionally protected exercises of Freedom of Speech and Expression, right?  That is so blatantly hypocritical it deserves no address.

It began long before the 2016 election, but with the Trump victory in 2016 which shocked the entire Leftist world, they have ramped up efforts to ensure no such outcome ever surprises them again.  Voter fraud is not a new phenomenon, it has been around for decades, maybe forever.  Voter fraud has been institutionalized by the Democrats and they believe the motto, “the end justifies the means.”  They are willing to do anything legal or illegal to win or steal any election they deem valuable.

They have the media outlets and those conducting the political opinion polls squarely in their camp.  The 24/7/365 presentation of a dismal outlook for the GOP and President Trump is picking up steam and will escalate as we near November.  We have the Russian hoax that fell flat.  We have the Mueller Investigation that was a sham.  We have endured the COVID-19 destruction of our economy and the exercises in tyranny by mayors, cities, states, and the Left nationally.  Once that began to show signs of not stopping the economy and Trump, we have endured the riots and chaos after the George Floyd death.  What is next?

Each election cycle there is always the concern about the proverbial and often literal ‘October Surprise’ that is used to shipwreck a candidate’s hopes and derail their campaign.  One of the things that the Democrats were working on before the COVID-19 panic and have escalated is “Vote by Mail” as mandatory.  Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats have indicated they do not believe they can trust the American people to decide the outcome.  They insist that their new tactic is the only reasonable means of ensuring a legitimate election. 

When various states have a tainted history of not purging their voter rolls properly and allow the dead, illegals, felons, those who are ineligible because they have moved or in some other was disqualified to remain on the rolls we know this ploy is not in the interest of safety but victory.  It is the classic ‘bird’s nest on the ground’ and they have seized upon Rahm Emanuel’s advice, “never let a good crisis go to waste.”  Why not steal the election if you can?  Electoral integrity is unimportant to those seeking power.  Power is paramount and any pathway to that objective is justified in the minds of those who believe they are our Lords and Ladies with a divine right to rule.

If people can protest and riot in mass gathers with no concern for the safety of the rioters, protesters, or others then voting should pose no problem.  If people can go to the grocery store and other venues, then voting should be no problem.  If people can ride mass transportation, go to the beach, or the myriad of other daily life functions then voting should be no problem.  This is not about safety or the concern that the elderly or frail might be exposed, it is about winning the election by any means possible.

Let me state, I have no problem with the elderly or the infirmed (providing they are capable of making a rational decision) utilizing the absentee ballot and not vote in person.  I am opposed to electronic voting from home via the computer, the nightmare of policing and verifying those votes is beyond our current ability.  I am opposed to sending out ballots to every voter on the rolls with no genuine verification of their identity because it invites massive fraud. 

We know that people ‘sell’ their votes for a few dollars.  We know that people have been ‘bused’ to venues they are not legally authorized to vote by those willing to violate the law.  We know that some vote multiple times, frequently with no repercussions.  We know that voter rolls have people still on them that are deceased, moved, are illegally here, and not qualified to vote.  A paper ballot that is mailed out to everyone and them mailed in would be impossible to verify who cast that ballot and therefore makes it implausible for me.

In my home state of Texas, a person that is over 65 and otherwise incapable of going to the polling place are able to vote by mail.  The numbers make verification easier but not foolproof.  Imagine millions of ballots being mailed in or someone hand carrying hundreds of ballots to a polling station to be counted?  How could we trust that those were legitimate ballots? 

The idea that Photo Identification somehow disadvantages the elderly or various ethnicities is not defendable.  Welfare and many other entitlements require a Photo ID.  Banks require a Photo ID to conduct business.  There are hundreds of examples of everyday events in life that not only require but are deemed reasonable having to present a photo ID.  Even the Democrats require a Photo ID to enter their conventions.  You cannot travel by commercial airlines without one. 

I recognize that there are a few who may need to vote by mail and with proper verification should be allowed to do so.  However, if we care about legitimate elections we must stand in unity against this potential massive fraud and ballot harvesting.  I may not like the outcome of the election but if it is legitimate, I accept it.  I don’t burn buildings if my candidate does not win.  I do not accuse the system and country of being racist of suffering from some phobia if my candidate does not win.  I desire that we preserve and maintain ‘legitimate elections.’ 

It appears to me that the Leftists see ‘Vote by Mail’ their Ace in the Hole and is another of a long line of illegalities they have and will pursue.  America, if we care about the Republic, we will not allow this to stand and we will demand that our elected officials reject it.  We may not be able to pressure the courts to decide rightly but we can pressure the politicians and that may mean giving some of them their ‘pink slips’ and allow them to pursue a different vocation.

My response is, “I hope we are not.”  However, with the response of some of the Trump haters, I’m not sure they are totally wrong.  I used to ask, “How stupid can you be?”  I quickly realized that some seemed to take that as a challenge and demonstrated that the level of idiocy I was observing was the low hanging fruit on the tree and there was much more where that came from. 

A quote that is often attributed to Albert Einstein regarding the infiniteness of human stupidity is probably a quote from the Frenchman Alexandre Dumas.  His translated quote is, “One thing that humbles me is to see that human genius has its limits while human stupidity does not.”  I don’t care who said it, it appears to have been proven true by the actions of humans for a long time.  Sadly, today, it is more apropos than ever.

I remember during the 2016 Republican primaries there were Democrats working to discredit certain Republicans and many of them backhandedly endorsed Trump.  No, they did not endorse as in giving him their support but endorsed as in suggested to the Republicans that he might be their best course of action.  They thought he was the worst possible choice and the choice that would guarantee Hillary’s ascent to the White House. 

Do you remember Democrats such as Paul Krugman writing articles to defend Trump in contrast to Jeb Bush and even praised Trump’s economic plan?  Did he mean it?  Of course, not that was demonstrated immediately after the election when he immediately sounded his alarm that Trump’s economy would result in an economic catastrophe that would send us into depression for a millennium.  They believed that Republicans were stupid and anyone foolish enough to support Trump was an uneducated, backwoods boob that needed someone to help them put on their shoes.

I remember the peanut farmer from Georgia telling the British Parliament in February 2016 that he preferred a President Trump to a President Cruz.  What was his reason?  Hang on to your false teeth.  He said, “Because Trump would be a pragmatic and non-ideological leader.”  Wow!  What did Carter do after the election?  Was Trump still praised as being pragmatic and non-ideological?  Nope, he immediately joined the Clinton chorus and shouted that the election was illegitimate.  He thought we were stupid and never dreamed Trump could and would win.  Once that became a reality, he changed his tune. 

There was a leaked document presented by WikiLeaks that the Democratic National Committed desired to help Trump win the Republican nomination because they believed it was their easiest road to the White House.  They directed their operatives, “We need to be elevating the Pied Piper candidates, to that they are leaders of the pack and tell the press to [take] them seriously.”  They thought Trump’s support was a flash in the pan and would quickly wane.  They were stunned and some shaken to their foundation when they discovered that they had been helping to create a candidate that resonated with the public powerfully.  They thought we were stupid and proved that they were.

Why would the media and the Democrats think we are stupid?  I suggest that it is the result of decades of Republican Establishment politicians running for the shadows every time they roll out their media blitz.  I suggest that it is because the Republican Establishment has demonstrated they are Democrat lite, not truly conservative or constitutionalists.  They are part of the Old Boy System and love practicing crony capitalism and relish being in power ruling over those of us they too consider too dumb to know the difference.

Am I saying that the Democrats and the Republicans are the same?  No!  I am saying that the Establishment Lifetime Professional Politicians are not trustworthy and are largely self-serving not public servants. 

Sadly, the COVID-19 provided the hoped-for, opportunity for the Globalist Elitist Leftists to shipwreck the economy, strip us of many of our rights and privileges, and endanger Trump’s reelection.  They seized upon the opportunity and have milked it for all its worth.  Then, the police killing of George Floyd provided them another gift and opened the door for revitalizing the paranoia, hate, and chaos further hurting the economy, safety, and pushing sanity to the brink.  They have milked that to the fullest extent possible. 

We have the various polls that show Biden blowing Trump away and Fox News has apparently joined that effort to defeat Trump leaving few conservative outlets speaking any semblance of truth or reality.  The Democrats have forced us to endure almost 4 years of their incessant attempts to overturn the election and oust Trump at a cost of millions if not billions.  They continue to do all they can and are almost giddy when the economic numbers are not good and when there are reports of increases in COVID-19 cases.  It is deeply troubling to watch the willingness of many to see America damaged if not destroyed for the sole purpose of defeating Trump. 

The toppling of the confederate statues and memorials was expected but as Trump and others predicted they have now gone after our founding fathers including Washington, Jefferson, Adams, and even desecrated the black regiment’s memorial in Boston.  They have lost contact with sanity and demonstrated a hatred that is so inflamed it embodies no reason or sanity. 

The church is under fire and governors like Gavin Newsom in California want to keep the churches locked down for months or permanently. They truly think we are stupid and are pushing all their chips to the center of the table in hopes of winning the White House in November.  They know if they achieve that goal, they will keep the House and likely reclaim the Senate.  At that point, the proverbial fat lady would be singing, and freedom would be exiting stage left.

The question is, “Will we prove them wrong again, or will we prove them, right?”  It truly is up to us and this election depends upon Christians committing to intercessory prayer, patriots standing up for freedom, and all Americans waking up and drawing a line in the sand, saying NO MORE!  I will stand for Faith, Family, and Freedom and I hope you will join me in November!

Tap the brakes if you assumed, I am going to trash Trump, I am not.  I am will attempt to draw the contrast between personality and platform.  That will not suffice for some, who see the current president the albatross of liberty.  It will not bode well in the minds of those who detest this president so profoundly they are blinded to the dangers of the Leftists and their agenda, but God has used people to advance His purposes who were not saints.  One of the most prolific would be Cyrus the Great, the Persian King who ended Israel’s Babylonian captivity.

I am not comparing Trump to a heathen king but citing that a person’s piousness is not an indicator of whether God can use them in advancing a nation’s cause and a nation’s benefit.  It is a reminder that a person’s piousness is not to be used to judge whether they can be used for the benefit of a nation.  If we make piousness a prerequisite to being president, we would have had virtually none in our history.  Why would people overlook Obama or Clinton’s failings on various moral fronts and insist that Trump’s history on the moral front disqualifies him?  It is not because of morality but personality that the charge comes.  Disagree if you choose, but that is provable, in my view and even if it is not, it is my view.  I have mine and you have yours!

In Isaiah 45 God spoke through the prophet and declared that He was taking Cyrus by the right hand, giving him power and then used him to rebuild Jerusalem and the temple.  A heathen king, a non-virtuous individual was used for the benefit of believers and the nation of Israel, so why is it unconscionable in the minds of those who detest Trump so vehemently?  I do not know Trump’s relationship with God, but he had defended the Church and our religious freedoms more than any president in my lifetime.  I appreciate that and when I view the whole body of work, I find more to applaud than to criticize.  Have some things been done that I do not like?  Absolutely!  But, again, I attempt to view the whole body of work, not isolated parts, or even the personality or moral character of the individual.  Would I like for the president to be a Christian?  Yes, I would.

I believe that the policies and agenda of the Left, the Socialists, Marxists, Liberals, and fundamental transformers are UNFIT for the Presidency and governance.  Joe Biden has declared, “If I’m elected and this (COVID) passes, I’m going to go down as the most progressive president in American history.”  That is shockingly frightening to this American who believes in the Constitution and the Rule of Law.  It would be anathema to any hope of ever returning to a Limited Government and destroy any hope of draining the Swamp or dismantling the Deep State.

Biden’s claim is frightening when I consider former progressives such as Franklin Roosevelt and Lyndon Johnson.  Their policies have damaged the very foundations of our Republic.  Jimmy Carter, William Jefferson Clinton, and Barack Obama have expanded those damages and Joe Biden would be a train-wreck if allowed to assume the presidency. 

Barack Obama, with Joe Biden at his side, oversaw some very damaging actions.  Through Obamacare and bailouts, we watched the federal government take over a third of our economy.  The national financial collapses were exacerbated and accelerated through his tax policies and regulations.  The Obama economic policies increased taxpayer debt exponentially and laid the foundation for economic disaster.  Thankfully Trump’s policies had reversed those actions sufficiently to give us an economy that might survive the pandemic paranoia largely facilitated by the Blue States and Cities.

Under BHO we watched the nationalization of public education through Common Core and the gross misuse of federal power to surveil, harass, and subvert opposing political opponents.  We watched as two far-left justices were added to the Supreme Court and that will pose problems for decades.  We observed things like Fast and Furious facilitate the advancement of the Mexican Drug Cartels and the disaster of Benghazi must never leave the forefront of our minds.  We watched as they systematically purged the upper ranks of the military to elevate to power those who were Leftists and on board with his agenda.  We saw the effective granting of amnesty to 660,000 illegals present in America. 

We watched the weaponizing of the Internal Revenue Service, and the jackbooted tyrannical attempt to force nuns to pay for abortifacients against their religious convictions and in violation of their constitutional guarantees.  Schools were forced to allow boys in the girl’s locker rooms and bathrooms and the beyond ridiculous kangaroo courts to punish anyone who spoke other than the politically correct language or charged with sexual assault without fair and impartial hearings.

We watched as Obama sided with those murdering the police and, in every situation, where a person of color was involved insisted it was white supremacy and racism that created the condition.  He ignored facts, and quickly inserted his hate-filled rhetoric fanning the flames of racial discord, unlike any modern-day president.  The NSA was used to surveil innocent citizens and collect private email, phone, and other records – ILLEGALLY!

Yet, we still have those that insist that Biden and the Democrats are less a threat to America than Trump.  I say that their policies, agendas, and candidates are UNFIT for the presidency.  I have not mentioned his cash to Iran and endorsing race riots in Ferguson, Missouri, or the 783 or more scandals in his scandal-free administration.  Remember, Joe Biden was there at his side all the while.

The Left wants to destroy our Energy Industry and impose on us the AOC New Green Deal.  They want to implement the Bernie Sanders brand of Socialism.  They desire to strip us of our 1^st, 2^nd, and 4^th Amendment Rights to mention three. 

The Oath of Office requires the incoming president to swear or affirm his fidelity to the Constitution, Obama violated that, and Biden has promised to do the same.  It reads, “I do solemnly swear [or affirm] that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”  How can Biden do that considering his announced agenda?  He cannot but will because the Left has no qualms about fabrications to the American people.  They have an agenda and objective and we are not it; Control is.

I contend that if America is to survive as the Free Constitutional Republic that our Founders established, we MUST, and I mean MUST defeat the Left in this and every election and at every level.  What we have seen in the pandemic paranoia is a drop in the bucket of what will be imposed on us if they regain total power in the federal government.  Therefore, I argue that the Democratic Policies and Democrats are UNFIT FOR THE PRESIDENCY!

Is my title confusing?  Do you wonder what I don’t want explained but still asked, What?  If you are still with me, please know that I am not trying to play a word game or deal in semantics but have some serious concerns about reasons I’ve been given for voting or not voting for a candidate.  It can be quite confusing and borders on hypocrisy if it is not squarely in that column of explanation. 

That being said, I am not looking for, nor do I desire anyone to attempt to explain their position to be.  I accept that you believe you are right and justified in your rationale and reasoning.  I accept that you cannot see the inconsistency and even hypocrisy in the position based on your declared reason for your decision.

Am I talking about all choices?  Of course not!  I have been attacked, vilified, and called some pretty vile names by people who are supposedly on the same side of the political and/or biblical position because I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and will do so again this November. 

I acknowledge that Trump was not my first choice in the primaries but once he became the nominee, I compared him, his position, and that of the party with his opponent and her party.  It became an easy choice for me because my interest was not based on my perception of the moral fiber of either candidate but America.  Call me whatever you wish, but I was and am looking at the future of the Republic and positioning myself to back what I believe to be the best option for America.

I have had people tell me that they could never vote for Donald Trump because of moral turpitude.  Let me give you the standard definition of moral turpitude and then address the inconsistencies I see in this.  Moral turpitude is a legal concept in the United States and prior to 1976, Canada, that refers to “an act or behavior that gravely violates the sentiment or accepted standard of the community.”  That, in my mind, is a bit vague, because the accepted standard of the community could be quite fluid and difficult to define. 

The concept of ‘moral turpitude’, though difficult to define with unflappable precision, is usually described as an “act of baseness, vileness, or depravity in the private and social duties which a man owes his fellowmen, or to society in general, contrary to the accepted and customary rule of right and duty between man and man.”

Some have insisted that as a Christian I should never consider voting for Trump because he is morally bankrupt and a despicable human being.  I readily acknowledge that his past is somewhat sordid in some areas but are we voting on a spiritual leader or a person to guide the nation back from the darkness we were led?  Before you insist that Trump’s past precludes him from consideration, I must ask two questions.  Can a person change?  Is a moral deficiency sufficient to deny a person any consideration for elected office?  Do you want me to ignore Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama’s morality or lack thereof?

If the answer to the first is, yes then should we consider what many religious leaders who have met with him say about his openness to prayer and their counsel?  If the answer to the second is, yes then what candidate qualifies righteously and morally enough to deserve your vote?  I suggest that if we make that our sole criteria for the person, we vote for we will find our options incredibly limited if we have any options at all. 

Let me insert a few more considerations and you decide.  Does anyone think Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, or Joe Biden are morally superior to Trump?  If you do, then we have no basis for discussion because each of them is inescapably tainted and based on the moral standard applied to Trump disqualified.  Where does that leave us? 

When I go beyond the individual and consider the platforms of the parties and the candidates, I see some moral issues that need to be addressed.  If we are as we claim, constitutionalist and originalist then are the inalienable rights given us by God, reasons to vote, or not vote for a candidate?  They are for me and I consider it immoral and a direct assault on the constitution for any candidate or party to infringe upon those rights.

As a Christian and a follower of the Constitution, I believe that abortion is wrong.  Even if I allowed for some instances for abortion, abortion on demand is a vile example of genocide and my moral moorings would demand I reject the person or party that supports it.  Biden and the Democrats endorse it whereas Trump and the Republicans do not.  Well, most Republicans do not, and I find it difficult to believe that a majority of Christians would support it. 

We are told that Trump’s relationship with women and his moral failings in that area disqualifies him.  What of Bill Clinton and Joe Biden, one was a serial sex addict and philanderer and the other’s fascination with children and the revelations of his sexual abuse should be equally reprehensible.  Some have insisted that Trump’s business dealings were immoral and unethical.  I don’t know the intricate details of his business ventures, but I do know that Biden became a millionaire through his elected positions.  The revelations about Ukraine and China to mention two are more than a little troubling.  So, how is Trump morally bankrupt and Biden not? 

The media and many who are in the ‘never’ consortium regarding Trump insist he has lied thousands of times.  Has he?  I have seen fabricated, misquoted, and distorted presentations that say he is a serial liar but have not seen the so-called concrete proof that is argued.  However, we know that Biden, Clinton, and Obama all have lied and continue to lie as they engage in prolific “CYA.”  How is the assumption that Trump lies morally disqualifying but Biden, Obama, and Clinton’s verified fabrications not?  Again, I am not asking for an explanation, I am simply presenting my view. 

I could go on and on in this rant and quizzical consideration of the position that a Christian and a Conservative could or should never vote for Trump.  If a person tells me that they won’t vote for Trump on moral principle but either vote for the Democrat or vote in a way to ensure the Democrat wins, how is that morally defensible?  In my view, it smacks with deception or hypocrisy. Wait!  I did not say you were intentionally being a hypocrite but if you cannot see the inconsistency in that position when you compare candidates you are either deceived or you are.

I do not believe that our choice is totally binary when it comes to voting in America.  We do not have to vote for the Democrat or Republican, we can choose to withhold our vote, write in a name, or vote for a third-party candidate.  However, the outcome is usually binary and either the Republican or the Democrat is going to win the presidency.  If I vote for what many call the lesser of two evils seeking to preserve the republic and keep our rights and liberties from being infringed upon could that not be considered a worthy objective? 

In my 50 plus years of studying the Bible and preaching the gospel and observing the political scene, I have discovered that sometimes attempting to stand for a principle enables what I detest to become reality.  Let me explain my view and you decide.  If I detest a candidate to the extent that I am unable to cast my ballot for them and vote for a candidate that has zero chance of winning am I doing what is best for the country?  I may have a warm fuzzy feeling and feel good about myself, but have I truly considered the Republic? 

If we vote in such a manner as to prevent either major party from receiving an electoral majority and the decision goes to the House of Representatives, what would make us think that any, but one of the two major candidates will be selected? 

I believe in principles and would never argue that any person ever violate their conscience.  That would be anathema to my faith.  I believe that much of what President Trump has advanced has been in the interest of the Republic and good for all Americans.  I believe the political agenda and ideology of the Democrats are bad for America.  Therefore, I can envision no other action in November than to vote No on the Democrats and vote Yes for Trump.  It is my conviction that although there are things about his personality and manner I do not like, he is my best option in the pursuit of keeping America the Free Constitutional Republic, defending our inalienable rights, and moving America forward in a better direction. 

Please do not attack me over my position.  I will defend your right to disagree and even hurl disparaging things my way, but I will exercise my right to not listen to them.  Think what you please and say whatever you want on your personal page or in groups and with others, but my page is like my home, I can decide what enters and stays and what doesn’t.  I ask you to respect that.  Vote as you believe best, but I hope you will consider the nation before tossing Trump and the Republicans on the trash heap of history.

Warning, lest anyone think I am not bullish on America tap the brakes and put it in reverse – I AM and will always be!  I believe that America, from our inception to the present, is the best offering the world has seen for a long time and possibly in our human existence.  I believe that the Founding Fathers, all flawed human vessels, did an incredible job overcoming differences, embracing compromise, and formulating the opportunity to achieve “a more perfect union.”  I stand in awe of what they achieved and am rankled when anyone attempts to trash and subvert it. 

America was not and will never be perfect because humans manage the government.  As is stated in Federalist 51, probably by James Madison, “If men were angels, no government would be necessary.  If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary.”  Just in case you missed it, men are not angels therefore we operate as flawed vessels attempting to achieve the impossible in human government.  That means we will always make mistakes and find it necessary to correct them.  That is another reason, preserving our history is vital.  History is our means of comparing the past and the present and achieving the future with more perfection.  Historic illiteracy is a death knell to liberty and freedom.

The pursuit of those seeking to ‘fundamentally transform’ America into whatever those following the globalist, socialist, Marxist, liberal, progressive, woke mentality of entitlement and political correctness want is dangerous.   History provides a sound basis for self-examination and provides benchmarks that enable us to realize progress as well as regression.  It is vital that we insist on keeping our history intact and that means all our monuments, memorials, statues, and the writings of those who fought on all sides of our various conflicts.  It is imperative that we resist the sanitization of American history and keep before us the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful. 

The play “Hamilton” is deemed the greatest thing since sliced bread to those who hate America, our Founding Fathers, and founding principles. However, history does not support the idea that Hamilton considered America so deeply flawed that it was anathema to morality and justice.  He was given his opportunity to serve in the fight for Freedom by the man that the Left is now targeting and tearing down his statues, George Washington.  Hamilton called Washington, “the venerated Virginian veteran.”  

Hamilton was always conscious of the contributions, struggles, mistakes, and corrections of Washington and men like him.  Hamilton the man, and the play both highlight the military contributions and incredible victories won by Washington.  Yet, the haters of our history and founding dismiss that and tell is none of that matters and we must remove all traces of Washington and his ownership of slaves disqualifies him from his place in history. 

I view the current divide in America as a binary choice between those who embrace the principles embodied in the Declaration of Independence and those who do not.  It is a struggle, or war, between those who reject America’s founding and those who do not.  I am convinced that those rioting and protesting are doing so out of historic ignorance and have failed to grasp the heart of our Founding Fathers and the initial objective of our founding.  The forces driving this division and outrage either do not understand or do not believe that America was founded in pursuit of universal ideas, not about blood and soil. 

Alexander Hamilton was remarkably different than many of the Founding Fathers, in that he did not rise to prominence as a member of the landed aristocracy prevalent in that time.  The musical presents him in this way: “How does a bastard, orphan, son of a whore and a Scotsman, dropped in the middle of a forgotten spot in the Caribbean by providence impoverished in squalor, grow up to be a hero and a scholar?” 

It could rightly be said that Hamilton was a political outsider and not a traditional part of the establishment.  His ability to use his pen propelled him to prominence and helped America achieve her dream of Independence.  He focused, as did the others, on the Idea of Freedom and the Principles embodied.  That is part of the uniqueness of America.

America is quite unlike the other nations of the world in many ways.  One significant observation is that America’s identity is not tied to lineage, origins, or borders.  Yes, we have borders and they must be defended, but our founding was the pursuit of Freedom and the recognition of the Providence of God and the Inalienable Rights He granted to All Men. 

I have always found it moving that we mark our founding not on military conquests and victories but on the moment that we put our objective on paper and declared the infamous words, “all men are created equal, and are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.”  That is powerful and it is still the objective of freedom-loving American patriots.  That’s what Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, and Hamilton desired and what I desire.

If we omit or erase history because we find some aspect offensive, we subject ourselves to the incredible dangers of repeating those mistakes or sins.  Unfortunately, America would likely never have become the republic and the nation we have become had the Founders insisted on no union that included slavery.  Tragically, many of the agricultural southern states would have abandoned the cause.  Unfortunately, the image of slavery is relegated to the South and there is the omission of slavery and sweatshops in the North. 

We have warts in our history and omitting it because it is uncomfortable and even detestable does not change it nor does it correct it.  Knowing what we did, who we were, and what we have achieved should be an encouragement to progress in the pursuit of the stated ideal embodied in the Declaration of Independence.

The Founding Fathers were flawed human beings and made mistakes. George Washington, a powerful but often quite humble man, knew he was a flawed vessel.  In the play Hamilton there is the highlight of the duel between Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton.  In the song highlighting Burr’s duel and killing of Hamilton, we hear how Burr came to understand that he should have known that the world was wide enough for both he and Hamilton.  Tragically, many do not understand that concept today and seek to silence and censor any opposing view. 

The PC Police work laboriously to silence all conservative views and opinions.  The only accepted view is the mandated view of the Progressive Leftists now demanding that we ‘kneel’ with Black Lives Matter and ‘repent’ of our whiteness.  If you are white, black, brown, or any ethnicity be proud of who you are and realize that there is room for differing opinions and compromise.  Had our Founding Fathers not understood that America would never have been. 

Until the more modern era, America’s political spectrum embraced the concept that we are different, believe differently, and were willing to engage in open debate.  In today’s America, intolerance has become the cornerstone of those demanding tolerance from everyone else.  Politicians villainize their opponents, citizens adopt a ‘us against them’ mentality, and everything is viewed through the lens of race or political ideology.  I keep praying that we can, once again, embrace the objective declared in our Declaration that, “all men are created equal, and are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.” 

I detest the destruction and I refuse to participate in the focus of today that seeks to destroy all who view things differently than I.  I am a believer in God, a Christian, a patriot, a lover of freedom, a follower of the constitution, and an American.  I love this country and respect the principles upon which we were founded. I will stand for the flag and never kneel to any man willingly.  I will bow only to God and will fight for everyone’s right to have Life, Liberty, and pursue Happiness.

Another way of phrasing that is, “What Did We Fight For?”  By that I mean, what was the Revolutionary War all about?  What were the various wars we have fought to preserve freedom and liberty in America and around the world all about?  What are we fighting for in America today? 

There are groups on all sides of various issues engaged in what can only be called a war and each of those factions present an image of America and the objective agenda being pursued.  It is mandatory that we consider what is being proclaimed as the just causes being fought for and what America is all about.  It is mandatory that we consider what is at stake if various factions win and gain total control of the government and thereby society.  It is mandatory that we consider what we truly want and what we are willing to invest our lives for.

Once we have determined what is at stake, what is worthwhile, and what we can embrace, we must then consider joining in the fight.  Am I advocating a civil war with blood in the streets?  NO!  Ten thousand times NO!  What I am suggesting, no appealing to everyone for is if we consider our Freedom, Liberties, and Republican System of Government worthwhile we commit to that cause. 

How do we commit and what is the investment required?  That will depend on your level of understanding of what is at stake and of what our Founding Fathers established and envisioned.  If you believe that a Free Constitutional Form of Government is the best then you must commit to defeating Marxism, Socialism, Totalitarianism, Authoritarianism, and defend the Constitution and Inalienable Rights.  That means, invest your time, money, energy, and vote to the cause of defeating those who want to destroy our system of government and fundamentally transform America into something other than the original intended system.

Our Founders envisioned a Republic that recognized God as the Creator and that in His position as the ultimate Sovereign He granted individuals certain inalienable or unalienable rights.  Those rights were never to be infringed by power-hungry, professional politicians, and activists who want dominance and control.  Those rights included but were not limited to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.  Included in those rights, as defined by the Founders was Freedom of Speech and Religion.  Deeper within the context of those rights was the Right to Thought.  It is out of our thoughts that we form opinions and out of those opinions we speak. 

It is clear from the record of their debates in formulating this system of government and recognizing those rights, they did not all agree.  They did not all say the same thing.  That would be a Utopia and not a reality when dealing with the human family.  We will never, this side of heaven, agree on everything and say the same thing.  We will say things and believe things considered incendiary to those who disagree.  There will be those who hold deeply racist views and those they consider beneath them will be offended by their thoughts, beliefs, and words.   However, to deny the right to think those thoughts are contrary to the original founding of America.  That right has been one of the things that have enabled us to overcome incredible barriers and obstructions and achieve national and international as well as individual greatness.

The repression of speech must be fought against by all sides or freedom of speech will become open to no side.  If those in power and the activists are allowed to control what is allowable to say, they will seek to control what is allowable to think, and rather than having freedom we will become manipulated puppets by our masters.  No human should be willing to see that transpire.

Repression of speech and censorship have been the tactics of despots throughout history.  History clearly reveals the tactics of Hitler’s Nazi Germany, the Soviet gulag, and Mao’s revolution, to mention a few.  Similar trends are surfacing in today’s America and that is deeply disconcerting to this Lover of Freedom and American Patriot. 

If I do not agree with what you think and what you say I have the option of offering my opposing view, walking away and not listening, or resisting with violence.  The latter is what destroys republics and creates unbridgeable divides.  Our Founding Fathers wanted to ensure that everyone recognized the inalienable right of others to speak their mind without fear of retaliation and censorship.  Freedom of Speech is not an American invention, it is a God-given principle that predates America by centuries.

We have social media not only threatening to take away that right from those whose views they disagree with but are doing so.  That is anathema to the very principle upon which America was founded and has thrived for more than two centuries.  Healthy debate that is kept civil enables differences to be aired, opposing views to be considered, and viable solutions to be achieved.  I have learned in my 70+ years on this earth that if I take the time to listen to opposing views and they take the time to listen to my opposition or disagreement we frequently find middle-ground that enables us to move forward benefits all parties in the debate. 

It is when we seek to silence any view, we deem offensive or disagreeable we doom ourselves to repeating the mistakes of the past or worse.  Sanitizing history solves no problems and does not recreate a world where it never transpired.  I have observed that many who want to rewrite history and sanitize it to fit the narrative they desire often engage in intellectual, moral, and social hypocrisy. 

I cannot envision the Jews wanting to rewrite history to eliminate any mention of the holocaust.  Most people of Jewish descent that I encounter want it to be a constant reminder of the atrocities and enable us to never again allow that to transpire.  I have discussed the treatment of the American Indian with native Americans and they all want the truth told about what transpired.  They do not want to sanitize the savagery of some of their ancestors nor do they want to deny the treaty breaking and ill-treatment received at the hands of the American military or government.  They want it to be a reminder to all sides of the mistakes and provide a means to move forward not repeating the failures of the past. 

Fear, prejudice, jealousy, envy, greed, covetousness, and hate never provide a platform for unification, reconciliation, and healing.  If we have an honest desire to heal the hurts, wounds, sins, and failures of the past it is required that we stop looking through the lens of political correctness or skin color.  If we follow a simple Bible directive to “Love our neighbor as ourselves and treat others like we want to be treated” we will have a pathway to healing. 

I did not say ‘treat others as they are treating us’ but ‘as we want to be treated.’  That will not make you a doormat but will make you bigger than the hate and empower you to rise above being victimized.  It will enable all of us to create a society in which we achieve the stated objective of being “one nation under God.”  It will provide the basis for us to be “indivisible” and thereby able to resist all enemies both foreign and domestic.  I want everyone protected from abuse.  I want everyone’s property and lives to be viewed as a right worthy of defending.  I want everyone to be free to express their views, even if I adamantly disagree and find their views repulsive.  Freedom of Speech must be extended to everyone or it will become available to no one.

I make no apologies in saying, NO!  That opening sentence will get me kicked to the curb by some, attacked by others, considered lower than a snake’s belly by others, and rejected by some Christians.  With that reality staring me in the face and the likely charge that what I am going to say is ‘racist’ why would I tackle this hot potato?  Because somebody needs to speak the truth and address the real issues, not the manipulated and manufactured ones inciting riots today. 

America did experience a period or periods of ‘systemic racism.’  I would never deny that it existed and being of the Boomer Generation I saw it and my parents and grandparents saw even more than I.  In my 70+ years on planet earth I have watched America move away from ‘systemic racism’ to ‘pockets of racism’ (not one-sided).  I have observed an advancement in addressing the problem, and we were moving forward noticeably until Barack Hussein Obama became president. 

It was Obama’s rhetoric, that of many within his administration, and the quickness to jump on the bandwagon of charging racism without the facts and way too early in the investigation of any incident that aggravated the issue.  It was not that a bunch of white supremacists came from behind the curtain and began lynching and burning buildings.  No, the burning, rioting, and looting, as well as the physical harm were at the hands of those groups calling themselves ANTIFA and BLM that were at the heart of the upheaval. 

All police have been lumped into the same basket as those of us who opposed Hillary Clinton and Obama and voted for their opponents.  To the Left, we are all deplorable and unworthy of the air we breathe.  The problem is not a Donald Trump problem although the Left wants to make him the blame for all the ills in America and all the ills that have ever existed.  In a way, they have made him bigger than life and that seems to have backfired on them in the past and could in the present. 

We have problems in America and the black community has endured hardships and difficulties that are unjust.  I believe that many, if not most of the problems they are facing stems from the pathological lies and agendas imposed by the Democrats affecting that segment of our society.  The progressive ideology and pursuit by the Democrats, often in the interest of winning elections, has harmed the black community more than anything in modern history. 

Lyndon B. Johnson’s ‘Great Society’ was more detrimental to blacks than anything to that point.  It appeared to be in their interest and was sold as a form of salvation for the ills they had endured but was a veiled attempt to enslave than to free.  Why do I say that?  Because that era along with the groundwork in previous Democratic administrations and the continued systematic work of the Left has produced some noticeable problems that are at the root of the problems of today.

The actions of politicians that encouraged and virtually ensured that there would be a dearth of fathers in the home were more damaging than chains could have been.  The amazing willingness to pursue abortion on demand and the praise of the founder of Planned Parenthood, who was an avowed racist, who was part of an elite chorus wanting to eradicate the black race.  The fact that more abortion clinics are strategically placed in or near black communities is telling if one will open their eyes. 

I have long believed, as the Bible teaches, in the importance and value of the father in the home.  I believe that a home with a father and mother who teach and train their children rightly is the most powerful deterrent to the hate-filled condition that exists today.  Hate is not the product of any race it is a heart thing, that is taught and caught and when a political party, the educational systems, and the media continuously suggest that a particular ethnicity is being abused unfairly by another it engenders hate. 

I agree with black voices that have stated that the greatest need is a strong home life for the children.  Denzel Washington told his interviewer that the problem in disproportional arrests of blacks was not where the focus needed to be. He said, “The problem is in the home.  They are not arresting 7-year-olds and by the time the arrest comes, we have lost the battle.”  

The Bible is clear in its directive that we are to “train up a child in the way he/she should go and when they are old, they will not depart from it.”  I have found that it is hard to escape the impact and influence of what I was taught in the home.  If taught rightly, godly, biblically, lovingly, and reasonably children will become responsible adults absent of racial bias and hate.  Is that a Utopian World?  Possibly but it is a world that God desires and possible.

If churches remain silent and attempt a pathway of appeasement, we will lose this war and evil will win.  Hate will prevail and love will be given no chance.  When politicians seek to make ‘entitlements’ the prime objective of a segment of society and pay them handsomely for having babies out of wedlock and making them dependent on the government for their sustenance, the chains become tighter on the recipients and the battle more difficult to win.

I refuse to allow anyone to place unreasonable guilt on me for being of the ethnicity I was born.  I want no person regardless of the pigmentation of their skin to feel guilty or entitled based on race.  If we allow that or adopt that pathway, we will weaken the foundations of the republic so severely that it cannot survive.  What do we replace it with? 

Defunding the police is insanity.   Sanitizing history, destroying memorials and statues changes nothing and only serves to widen the rip that is being promoted in our society.  That is the objective of those who hate America and desire our destruction.  Many are being played and made useful idiots for the cause of destruction thinking they are freedom fighters when they are enabling those who want to destroy freedom.

What we need in America, in all communities, is a strong moral ethic restored.  We need strong two-parent families.  I understand that there are many single parents burdened with the task of providing for their children and having little time to properly train them.  The single women who have no strong male figure to help are at a significant disadvantage and so are the single men.  The influence of the mother and the father are different but no less valuable. 

We need a return to personal responsibility and accepting responsibility for our own success or failure.  I grew up in a poor home in rural East Texas.  I have achieved some success in life, not because someone handed it to me or because of my skin color.  In fact, I have been passed over for a promotion and told that it was because of my ethnicity, not my qualifications that I did not get the job. 

My parents worked hard and took no handouts from the government.  They taught us that we were to earn our keep and give a good day’s work for a day’s wage.  I have been in the ministry most of my life and know what it is to wonder where the next meal would come from.  I have worked with and beside people of all ethnicities in ministry and the secular business world and learned valuable lessons from them. 

America, we can buy the lie that America is a systemically racist nation and ensure a condition that can only end in Civil War or we can acknowledge that the government has been more an enemy than a friend.  We can allow ourselves to develop a victim mentality or we can say, “I was victimized but I will never be a victim” and fight through the problem and allow our personal drive and determination to propel us to a higher level on the ladder of life. 

I believe God will help us if we will follow the directive of 2 Chronicles 7:14 and Matthew 6 and 18.  I desire and commit myself to follow the ‘Golden Rule’ and refuse to see skin color, I see human beings.  Some of them are good and some of them are bad.  Some of them are in difficult straits and working to better themselves and some have become leeches sucking the blood out of others.  It is a personal choice and I choose to follow God and good and not allow hate to prevail in my heart.

God bless you and remember in November that the policies of appeasement and entitlement are destructive, not productive.  We have a republic to preserve and can have peace and prosperity.  It won’t be easy but possible!

Before anyone assume that I am saying we never compromise or seek to find equitable and peaceful solutions to our differences, I am not!  What I am saying is that if you attempt to appease a terrorist, your effort is viewed as weakness and once they get what they want, they kill you! 

You cannot have a non-aggression pact with the devil, he does not play fair or play by the rules.  If you give an inch, they take a mile and if you cave to their demands, bow before and with them, wash their feet, and chant their chants, they laugh at you.  Once they get what they have demanded, they demand more.  You will never satisfy their demands for ‘justice’ because justice is not what they are seeking.  They want dominance!

I was not around, but history records the naivete of those seeking to be appeasers in 1938 like Neville Chamberlain the British Prime Minister.  He returned to England with his worthless treaty signed by Hitler and insisted that the world had, “Peace in our time.”  It took less than a year for that to be exposed as classic naivete when Hitler invaded Poland and started WW II. 

Those demanding appeasements view the willing attempts to cede to their demands as weakness and become fearless in their pursuit of their objectives.  They realize that they are facing mice, not men and pussy cats, not tigers.  Their lists of demands grow longer and longer and if the appeasers continue their concessions the terrorists get what they wanted CONTROL without risking any lives or material.  It is handed to them with heads bowed and hat in hand. 

Winston Churchill famously said, “An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last.”  The appeasers are prevalent in today’s American politics and society.  I am chided frequently charging that I am war mongering with my insistence that we cannot concede to the demands of the Sanitizers of History, BLM, ANTIFA, the Leftists, Globalists, and Marxists.  We cannot form a union with them and expect them to honor that agreement. No, the DNC seeks to use those groups to obtain their votes. They are promising them the world, but if the Leftists gain control and get what they want they will no longer need those groups. When that happens watch the immediate shift that occurs. 

So-called Republicans like Colin Powell, Mitt Romney, Jennifer Rubin, Meghan McCain, and Bill Kristol are attempting to appease and unite with the Democrats for the express purpose of defeating Trump.  Yes, they hope to be viewed favorably by the Left and benefit from their alliance, but they will become cannon fodder for the Left if the Democrats win in November.  We have Democratic leaders or vocalizers of the progressive agenda such as Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Stacey Abrams pushing the buttons to keep the flames of hatred burning.

The demand that we rename our military bases that are named after confederate generals or others they deem deplorable is ludicrous.  They want all Confederate statues destroyed, sports teams renamed, universities drop their anthems, and military bases renamed.  Where does it end?  I heard someone discussing this and they said, “If they rechristen Fort Benning, named after Confederate brigadier general Henry L. Benning, that would be step one.  After all, Fort Benning is in Columbus, Georgia and that would mean the city had to be renamed too since Columbus is also a target.  He is hated as much as Benning is hated.”

I’ve had people who claim to be conservative and constitutionalist insist, “If we just give them these few bones, they will be satisfied and stop.”  I laughed out loud and then cried trying not to burst out in rage.  THAT IS CRAZY!  They will never be satisfied with one thing or ten things.  They will never be happy or satisfied.  They would not be satisfied if they destroyed every statue they hate, renamed every base, city, team, or university they demand.  They would not be satisfied if they were able to eradicate every conservative constitutionalist and by the declaration of some, all white men.  We read in Proverbs 27:20 – “Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.”

The assault by those demanding our concessions is not directed solely at confederates as has been demonstrated in their destruction of black businesses, black lives, and even union generals and others.  If you study history and listen to some of the activists, you will realize that Union General William Tecumseh Sherman is hated by the Leftists. Why?  He was a union general that helped defeat the South and left a wake of destruction in his path in his March to the Sea. 

Why do they hate him?  He didn’t like blacks.  He issued Special Field Order No. 16, which forbade the enlistment of black soldiers.  History reveals that Sherman detested the idea that free-born blacks from the North and the newly freed slaves of South would fight side by side with his white troops.  He demanded that the races be kept separate and threatened to arrest recruiters and imprison them if they enlisted blacks.  Therefore, Sherman is anathema to the activist as well.  Therefore, Camp Sherman in Ohio must be renamed.  What would they name it?  Camp Che Guevara, Camp Nicolas Maduro, Camp Castro, or Camp Stalin?

I like what Colonel Allen West said, “History is about learning from it.  I don’t want to see us become like the Taliban or ISIS.  Those are the people [who] destroyed history.”  I also applaud Dr. Ben Carson saying, “We need to move away from being offended by everything, of going through history and looking at everything, of renaming everything.  We’re going to have to grow up as a society.” 

Thomas Jefferson would not have achieved, for America what he did, had he lived today.  He would have been branded as a deplorable by those demanding appeasement today.  Abraham Lincoln would have been a political casualty for this group because in his debate with Stephen Douglas he said, “I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races.”  He didn’t want blacks to vote, serve on juries, hold office, or intermarry with whites. 

We would have to boot the Progressive Champion Franklin Roosevelt because he signed Executive Order 9066 that forcibly removed Japanese from their homes placing them in internment camps.  You could not simply change the first name because Theodore Roosevelt is hated too, he was a gun owner, hunter, and wanted legal immigration.  I doubt that John F. Kennedy could survive today’s Leftist’s agenda because he took a strong stance against the Communists and wanted a strong military. 

Today corporations are caving to the demands attempting to appease the domestic terrorist.  Politicians are bowing to their demands, sports teams, cities, and even pastors are attempting to appease.  IT DOES NOT WORK! I believe in finding common ground wherever possible.  I do not believe in abandoning reason or violating one’s core convictions.  We cannot change history by erasing it.  We cannot find peace by appeasement.  We must achieve peace through rational reason, holding everyone accountable for their actions and returning to constitutional governance and God.

I desire that all be treated fairly and have equal justice under the Law. But, I can never cede any ground to a domestic or any terrorist. We either begin viewing all as human beings created in the image of God or we will fall prey to the hate and destruction prevalent in today’s America and society. I am praying for a Revival of the Heart in America!

Let me say at the outset I am not an economic guru and don’t play one on television, but then neither are most of the politicians.  Albeit, they do tend to play something on television or to the cameras that they do not have the credentials to pretend to be. That does not prevent them or the myriad of Leftists in all sectors from insisting their ideas are of ‘expert’ quality. 

What is at stake in this Presidential and All Elections this year?  There are several things and one of the most critical is the Supreme Court.  I am thankful that President Trump was able to appoint and secure the confirmation of two justices.  One of them appears to be solidly conservative and desirous of following Original Intent and the other more inclined that direction that Chief Justice Roberts.  

If the Democrats win the presidency, keep the House of Representatives, and gain the Senate the court would be almost immediately transformed.  The normal change through retirements or deaths would likely be scrapped and there would be an immediate pursuit of increasing the number of justices would ensue.  They have already affirmed that it is on their horizon and an integral part of their agenda. 

If they gain control of the White House, Congress, and the Courts most of our liberties and freedoms will be in serious jeopardy.  The 1^st, 2^nd, and 4^th Amendments will be in danger as will other provisions of our Constitution.  Religious liberty will face some serious challenges as will freedom of speech for any conservative of dissenting view to the liberal agenda.  The right to ‘keep and bear arms’ will immediately become a prime target. 

If the Democrats win in November, the economy will be in grave danger of reverting to the Obama economy and taxation will go through the roof.  Joe Biden and the Democrats have vowed to repeal the Trump tax cuts and if the plans include some of the views of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, we will see the tax rates for everyone ascend to the highest in our history. 

Small businesses will become an endangered species because many would be unable to function.  Universal government-run healthcare will become a reality.  Those things will result in a dramatic escalation in joblessness and wages would plummet.  If the mandated a $15 or $20 minimum wage the number of jobs will be reduced by such a hefty percentage the Great Depression will look like an economic boom.    

If the Democrats win in November, our American history will be completely rewritten to fit the toxic narrative of the Woke Adherents and the PC Police will operate with a Gestapo type power and authority.  Law and Order will become a thing of the past and securing the services of qualified and good police officers will become a distant memory.  Who would want to place themselves in the position of having to follow the demands and edicts of the followers of the toxic liberal idea of fairness and equality?  They would not only be risking their lives each day but their freedom from the very governments who hired them.  One false move and they could spend the rest of their lives behind bars for doing their jobs. 

I am supportive of sensible police reform and finding a means of weeding out the bad cops and giving all cops the needed tools and training to professional and efficiently do their jobs.  I am adamantly opposed to lumping the police or any segment of society into a stereotypical basket and target them because of a few rotten apples. 

If I had a barrel of apples, I would not throw out the entire barrel because of a few bad apples.  I would thoroughly go through my apple barrel and when I found a bad apple, I would discard it and keep the good apples.  However, the process in today’s politically correct, snowflake, woke world the anarchist is demanding that ALL cops are bad, and ALL cops must be discarded.  Lawlessness is not a solution to ‘equal justice’ under the law.  You do not achieve ‘equal justice’ with ‘lawlessness,’ which results in no justice and endangers everyone, especially those prone to obey the law. 

If the Democrats win in November, our borders will be erased, and the prize of American citizenship will become a doormat without value.  There will be no reason for anyone to go through the lengthy and often difficult process of immigrating to America legally and becoming a citizen.  Our electoral process will be destroyed, and we will never see another legitimate election or one that we could have any reasonable sense of confidence it was valid.  The political machines will, once again, rule the American scene and the days of mafia dominance and prohibition where lawlessness was the norm will be experienced with the more sophisticated and technological tools available. 

If the Democrats win in November, abortion on demand will likely evolve into legal genocide where the infirmed, elderly, and handicapped will likely be viewed as excess baggage and too costly to care for.  That will produce a Nazi-like pursuit of a superior race.  If the life in the womb is not considered a life and deemed merely ‘a choice’ of the host carrying that baby in the womb, what is to prevent other lives from being deemed without value? 

During the Obama administration racial tensions escalated not because he was half-white and half-black but identified as black, but because of the racism advanced by his agenda and administration.  We will see Sharia Compliant Zones in our major cities increase, and that scene will spread across the country. There will be severe restrictions placed on Christian churches and Jewish Synagogues.  There will be an attempt to force everyone to cast aside their core convictions and religious beliefs and embrace the lifestyles considered violations of their conscience. 

If the Democrats win in November, the Constitution will become meaningless.  They will ignore it, have the Supreme Court to back their views, Congress to write the laws and a president that would joyfully sign them into law.  America, as the Free Constitutional Republic will be no more. 

Let me state that I am as mad as the proverbial ‘wet hen’ over the debt and deficit.  I was opposed to the stimulus relief packages imposed on us.  I am opposed to the insane spending that is being pursued.  I am a Constitutional and fiscal conservative.  I am a Christian that believes that caring for the poor and needy is not the job of the government nor is it allowed by the constitution. 

I believe that charity must begin at home, in the church, and the community.  It is not the responsibility of the federal government.  I believe that our rights come from God and are unimpeachable and should never be infringed.  I believe that if we want to keep our Republic, we must set aside our personal preferences and vote to prevent the toxic liberal agenda of the progressive socialistic globalism of the Democrats from regaining power.  That is true on the local level, the state level, and the national level.

I am not concerned with what anyone thinks of me.  You may hate the president enough you are willing to risk the republic to defeat him.  That deeply troubles me because Freedom is more valuable than personal preference.  We know what the Democrats want, and we have watched President Trump become the only thing standing in the way of their desired ‘fundamental transformation’ of America.  I am not willing to passively afford them the opportunity to fulfill their mission.  I am voting for Faith, Family, and Freedom in November!
