STAND IN THE GAP or WE LOSE OUR FREEDOM…


I am going to present a thought that is deeply rooted in my faith, my love of America and the God-given Freedoms and the Republic we have been blessed with.  I make that statement at the outset so those who find anything religious anathema can tune out and not feel the need to attack and experience the animosity my post will engender.  For those who are Christians, Patriots, and Lovers of Freedom you may or may not agree with what I am going to say.  I hope you will consider my thoughts and then formulate your own view and plan your own actions as we enter 2021.

I have been, as have millions of others, praying, thinking, searching for answers, and trying to determine the cause of our plight and the best course of action.  As I prayed recently, I sensed in my heart of hearts something that shook me deeply.  It caused me to reflect on my own attitude, what I see in the nation and the world, and what I hear from all sectors of society.  I don’t want to become a broken record and been dismissed as an alarmist.  However, I see something incredibly dire, dangerous, and disastrous in the current state of everything in America.

Over 240 years ago there were a group of Patriots, Preachers, and People who came to the conclusion that there was an encroaching evil that had become an unbearable tyranny.  They determined that it was their mandate for posterity, from a biblical view, and for the sake of Freedom to resist.  That could cost them everything and victory was their only hope of survival.

There were those in the colonies in all sectors from the secular to the spiritual that believed that compliance and appeasement was the best course of action.  Some of them adopted that view out of fear.  Some out of a misguided view of biblical mandates.  Some out of a desire to not rock the boat and maintain the status quo thereby not affecting their bottom line and positions of prominence.  They were called loyalists.  Some were loyalists ideological, but many were loyalists because of the aforementioned reasons.

Some of our Founding Fathers and other unnamed and unsung patriots of that era knew in their heart of hearts that if they did not ‘stand in the gap’ and impede the growing tyranny all liberty would be lost.  They knew that they would be forced to comply with governmental mandates that touched every dimension of life.  They feared the governmental overreach of the British Crown would steal all hopes and dreams of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.  Inalienable Rights and Blessings that God had granted to all mankind but was being restricted.

They paid taxes but had virtually no voice in the political direction or decisions.  Many came to America with the hope of achieving the dream of Life, Prosperity, and Freedom.  They were feeling the iron-fists of power squeezing the life out of those dreams and that was untenable for them.  As Patrick Henry famously declared, “Give me liberty or give me death” became the mantra of those desiring freedom.

Today, we are watching an incredible rise in ‘evil.’  I do not believe that the struggle we are now engaged in is political but spiritual.  I do not believe that God is interested in Democrat or Republican but right and wrong.  I believe that He is looking at the condition of man and, while we were warned in Scripture of this hour, He is heartbroken that we allowed it to transpire and transpire so rapidly in America. 

It is my conviction that if those who believe in God, are followers of Christ and Christians do not ‘stand in the gap’ and resist evil this nation and the world will go to hell in a handbasket.  Some would argue, it already has.  I contend that we can turn the tide and achieve a small window of opportunity with a reprieve from the destruction and devastation.  I believe that if the believers, the followers of Christ, and the Church will determine to follow the directive of 2 Chronicles 7:14 and Matthew 6:9-13 and 6:33 we can achieve a victory.

In Ezekiel 22:30 we read that God said, “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.”  What a horrific situation.  Some take that scripture and make God the ogre, but I read it and realize that it is reflective of the heart of our Heavenly Father to spare us!  He is not willing that any should be lost and is more willing to forgive than condemn if we will just give Him the opportunity.

I have been sensing, as Isaiah the prophet cried out when he saw his condition and that of his nation and heard God ask, “Who will go and who can we send?”  Isaiah said, “Me, LORD.  Me!  I will go, send me!”  I am sensing the Spirit of God calling me and anyone who will heed the call to come out from among them and be separate and become Watchmen on the Wall warning of evil.  He is calling for those who will commit themselves to intercession, not token prayers.  He is calling for those who will become willing to die, if necessary, for His Purposes, and for Freedom.  He is calling, are we listening?

If the good does not resist the evil what is to impede the evil from running amok?  If those who believe in moral rightness sit in silence as immorality prevails what is to prevent the spread of that destruction?  If those who believe in personal responsibility and accountability do not step forward and teach, warn, resist, and demonstrate moral rightness what is to impede the purveyors of an anti-God and anti-American philosophy?  If we allow the continued genocide of the unborn, destruction of the two-parent family, entitlement mentality, political correctness, assault on religious freedom, freedom of speech, the right of self-defense, and a myriad of other infringements we will destroy the Republic. 

It is time to move from focusing on political parties to the basic principles of freedom, liberty, inalienable rights, and return to our moral moorings.  It is time that we devote ourselves to what made America the Free Constitutional Republic where the dream of Life, Liberty, and Happiness was available for all.  It is time that we STAND IN THE GAP and say NO MORE!  We must resist and that may be costly, but it is mandatory.

It is time that those who believe in the Bible and Freedom stand up and demand that the politicians adhere to the Constitution and the Rule of Law.  It is time that we, as a people, return to the moral and ethical foundations that were recognized in our beginning.  It is time that those who believe in God recommit themselves to Him and having done all to stand, stand firm.

WHERE DID OUR LIBERTIES GO???


I don’t know if you have noticed or taken stock of the individual liberties and freedoms that we have either lost or have been so diluted that they are hardly liberties at all anymore!  Every despotic regime in history has utilized the tactic of slowly eroding individual liberties and often under the guise and pretense of doing what is best for the people at large.  They present the idea that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few and therefore things like redistribution of wealth, governmental control, and over-regulation of virtually everything.

The Obama administration sought to regulate everything even what we could eat or what our kids could eat in schools.  The Democratic platform is more of the same and even expansion of the Obama policies and ideologies.  Theirs is a continual assault on virtually all of our Freedoms and Liberties.  The Constitution is meaningless to them unless they can use it to advance their agenda.  They want us to become beholding to the Federal Government for our very existence.  They want us to become so dependent and fearful of Big Brother that we dare not voice a word of opposition lest we get cut off from the dole. 

The continual effort to build the base of “dependent voters” is never-ending.  The spin to vilify corporations and successful people has been used for centuries to separate people and win them over to the argument of the despots. Then they will willingly relinquish their rights and liberties thinking that this benevolent dictator will look out for their interest with a pure heart.  It never works out that way, but the sheep still follow the pied piper and drink the Kool-Aid as though it were the very nectar of life.

Under Donald Trump, it became easier to start a new business, but the plans of the Leftists will make it harder if not a virtual impossibility to succeed.  There will be so much governmental paperwork and regulation that the cost of attempting to produce your idea will be prohibitive.  That is a pathway to stifle American ingenuity.  The mandates in Obamacare were the tip of the iceberg to what they desire if allowed full control of the government. 

The class and race antagonism being overtly and covertly pushed by the Left will bring us to a place where martial law would be expected and possibly required.  I wonder how much of the coronavirus pandemic was manufactured by the nefarious in the world to bring us to our knees in submission.  I can never forget the words of Rahm Emanuel, “Never let a crisis go to waste.”  That is their philosophy and if there is not a natural crisis then one is precipitated to ensure the conditions to accomplish their goals.

America, we are witnessing our inalienable rights as provided by God and recognized in the Constitution and Declaration of Independence taken from us “by little and by little.”  Some have been so slowly eroded that we have not noticed they are gone. Sadly, we are waking up, after the fact, and realizing that many are gone and it will become virtually impossible to see them restored.  Government is seldom reduced in size. It may be held in check for a time but once something like the stimulus is presented and implemented it becomes part of the baseline budget and we get it every year without another vote and consent of WE THE PEOPLE! 

If we truly want to reduce the deficit and debt, we must adopt a “zero budget.”  The politicians on both sides of the aisle and especially the Left want to maintain their “baseline budget.”   That budget grows every year and will grow every year even if they reduce the amount or percentage of its growth.  It allows the behemoth called the federal government to continue a monster leaving us no ability to feed or control.  That would be true even if took 100% of our income and applied it to government expenditures. 

The idea of cutting the military by over 70% as under Obama and eliminating various portions of our armed forces was deadly.  The claim that we are spending too much on defense is ludicrous.  Over 70% of the Federal Budget goes to individual entitlements or subsidies.  It’s not the military that is the problem, although I agree there is waste that needs to be addressed.  National defense is a major function of the Federal Government so how can we rationally pare down our military to the point where we place this land at risk because of the lack of equipment or manpower to defend her? 

I ask that each of you think about these things and whatever you do VOTE in the future. I ask that in every election we seek to remove those whose views are contrary to freedom, liberty, the constitution, and America first.  If you do not vote you are voting through the back door for a continuation of the policy and ideology of Socialism and Globalism. It is an ideology and agenda that is being shoved down our throats as they continue stripping away of our liberties.  I want CHANGE and HOPE that is good for America! I pray that Americans will “awaken out of sleep” and see the handwriting on the wall and cast a ballot to RESTORE AMERICA to the foundational principles and operation that our Founders envisioned and put in place. 

My plea is, “Can I Have My Country Back, Please?”  The words of Benjamin Franklin keep ringing in my ears and wander through the corridors of my mind today.  He said when asked what type of government the Constitution was bringing into existence, “A republic if you can keep it.” 

I look back at the history of this nation and except for the tragedy of slavery, the United States came into existence as a nation where people could engage in any occupation or venture into any economic endeavor without a government license, permit, or regulation.  People could travel anywhere in the world without restriction (no passports) and trade with anyone they choose without having to get the permission of the government. 

We became a nation where people could amass unlimited amounts of wealth with no governmental interference because the Constitution did not permit the government to levy taxes on income.  People were free to do whatever they wanted with their own money.  They could save, spend, donate, invest, hoard, or even destroy it if they wanted to.  The government wasn’t allowed to take care of people.  That was the task of family, churches, local communities, and individuals.  There was no social security (and therefore no social security taxes or contributions withheld from one’s pay), Medicare, Medicaid, welfare, education grants, or even foreign aid.  There was no war on drugs, poverty, or wealth.

Today we have a government that places such a burden on businesses and individuals through taxes, restrictions, and regulations that we can hardly breathe much less excel.  We are facing a President in Joe Biden who wants more and more control over every detail of our lives and a Congress that seems to be very willing to go along with those desires as they line their pockets, insulate their positions of power, and participate in living the life of an Elite Ruling Class.  This is a far cry from what the Founders envisioned, planned, tried to prevent, and would raise a call to arms if they were here today. 

So, I ask Congress, the President, the Supreme Court, Churches, and every governmental agency in existence, “Can I have my country back?”  I don’t like what you’ve done to it and want to rescind your claim to it, your power over it, and your handling of it.  WE THE PEOPLE want to take over and desire that you step aside and find gainful employment in the workforce like the rest of us.  We ask that you not live a life of luxury by placing the burden of paying for it on the backs of hard-working, tax-paying citizens.  Simply,

WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK!  In every election, from this day forward I, as a natural-born legal citizen will VOTE to take it back from your control.  If those elected do not honor this request then in the next election, I will VOTE to send you back home too.  I will do that and try to get as many people to join me as possible in every election UNTIL those who go to Washington and the State capitals LISTEN TO WHAT WE ARE ASKING.  We just want our Country back!

LIPSTICK ON A PIG…


When I was growing up, I sometimes heard that a person who seems to be Teflon and nothing stuck to them, “They could fall into a cesspool and come up smelling like a rose.”  The implication was that no matter what they did they never suffered for their indiscretions and failures. 

In watching the past four years and the vitriolic diatribe and rhetoric hurled against President Donald Trump I have concluded that he could do nothing they would applaud.  He could fall into a Rose Perfume bath and they would insist he was covered with Pig Poop.  When I question the hate, I am attacked and told, “We do not hate!”  Then the attack is launched calling me a Trumpist, a Cultist, a Racist, or some other derogatory term saying that I worship Trump.  I am not a cultist or a racist and although I have supported the President I am not, in the sense they mean it, a Trumpist.  I am an American and a lover of Constitutionalism.

I have asked and been asked, “What is it that drives the hatred for Donald John Trump?”  I have concluded that it is far more than his caustic personality and propensity to push back when pushed.  It is more than his New Yorker bravado or even the egotism and narcissism he and most politicians exhibit to some degree.  If it is not the man, what is it? 

I believe it is hate, you can call it whatever you please but it is difficult to disguise hate for anything other than hate.  The bile and vitriol that issues forth from the lips and writings of those who insist he is incarnate evil cannot be mistaken for anything other than what it is – HATE!  But what is the core reason for the hatred for him?

Let me insert that I believer there are those who believe in America and truly believe that Trump is damaging and dangerous to our Constitutional form of Governance. They do not hate him for the same reasons that the Leftists do.  They, in my view, dislike him because of his personality, moral flaws, and bravado and bluster.  They want a milquetoast President who exhibits what they deem to be Presidential.  However, they have excused the very things they insist are flaws in him in the Leftists such as Biden, Obama, etc.  It is a bit perplexing.  They are not who I am going to refer to in my comments on the core reason for the eruptive hatred.

I believe that those on the Left, the followers of the toxic liberalism, Socialism, Marxism, and Progressivism of the 2000s hate him for a specific reason other than personality.  The Left has been accustomed to Republicans running for cover when they hurl their insults and accusations.  They have been accustomed to Republicans playing by their rules of civility while violating those rules themselves.  They have been accustomed to enjoying the timidity of the Republicans over public opinion and negative media coverage.  Donald Trump does not follow those rules therefore he is a threat to them, and they determined at the outset he had to be destroyed. 

I believe their hate is rooted in his willingness to stand for the American people, the Constitution, and attempt to expose the corruption and drain the swamp.  That is anathema to the Elitist of both parties and the reason that they have been hell-bent on destroying him and anyone who supports him. 

In our snowflake world of political correctness and entitlement, there is the inane view that people have the right to not being offended.  The elitists have spent decades and in the case of Joe Biden almost five decades enjoying the advantages of being a part of the swamp they are horrified if anyone threatens that status quo. 

The Leftists have contempt for the average citizen as were reflected in the remarks of Barack Hussein Obama as he called us ‘bitter clingers’ clinging to our religion and our guns.  Hillary declared that half of Trump supporters could be placed into a basket of deplorables.  I acknowledge that Biden has concealed his contempt better than those two but his demonstrated actions and announced agenda reveal that he is a pea in the same pod.  He has been more involved in the lucrative advancement of himself and his family that comes with his position and ability to market his influence.  That is taking advantage of ordinary people as much as Obama or Clinton.

The Elitists, especially those in the media and the Democratic Party were terrified and incensed that average Americans were exhibiting signs of believing in themselves again.  The message proclaimed by Trump resonated with millions and the sleeping giant began to awaken.  The elitists of the Swamp and the Deep State knew they must act quickly and decisively and crush the insurrection against their abuse of power.  They determined that Trump had to be destroyed and ousted in any manner possible. If that meant fraud, corruption, deception, and destroying our electoral system they were completely at peace with that.

Trump, inspired a resurrection of what I call ‘real America and Americanism.’  The average John and Jane Doe who worked for a living were inspired and meaningful again.  The average citizen, who earned their way and volunteered their time on the weekends to help youth and children develop, and many attended church or synagogue regularly were the focus again.  All things the swamp denizens of the deep state detest. 

I suggest that none of the globalists from the Bushes, Obamas, Clintons Carters, Johnsons, or many other politicians dating back to FDR and beyond respected the average citizen.  We were and are, in their view, tools to get them what they want.  We are, in their minds, their serfs and they believe we should be grateful for any handout or crumb they toss our way.  They believe they are the providers of our liberties and have the right to decide what we can and cannot have or do.  I suggest that only Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump in the past almost 100 years have truly put ordinary Americans first or considered their needs and desires.

We have evolved from the Swamp and Deep State Statist Elitists being political snobs to something incredibly sinister.  They want to imprison if not exterminate all who hold to conservative constitutional Christian values.  I believe that Biden/Harris or Harris/Biden if allowed to advance their agenda will not only damage our liberties but destroy our Republic.  They want to pack the court, provide universal abortion rights, increase our taxes, regulate small businesses into extinction, strip us of our 1st, 2nd, and other Constitutional and Inalienable Rights.  They believe they are superior to the rest of us and their membership in the Elitist Statist Society of Washington has afforded them a Teflon badge exempting them from the laws we have to obey.

America, the hatred for Donald John Trump the 45th President of the United States of America has torn this country to shreds.  If hate becomes the norm in politics and society, we will see bloodshed beyond anything any of us believe possible.  The fruit of the seeds of disintegration in race relations under Obama is producing a harvest today.  That harvest is negative and destructive.

You may be a Never Trump Person and believe that he is worse than Lucifer himself.  It matters not your reason, but if you allow hate to blind you from reality and prevent you from seeing the devastation of the Left you are part of the problem not part of the solution.  You can love me, hate me, unfriend me on Social Media and call me whatever you please.  I can live with that.  My plea is, stop allowing personal animus to blind you to the danger inherent in the toxic liberalism of the Democratic Party and the Political Establishment.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL…


Regardless of your perceived status in life, your ethnicity, your political leanings, your intellectual and educational accomplishments, your business acumen, your popularity or lack thereof – CHRIST WAS BORN, LIVED, DIED, AND ROSE AGAIN FOR YOU!  You may or may not believe that and that is your choice but it is the declaration of the Bible and I’ve experienced it in my heart so I not only believe it true I treasure my experience that validates it for me. 

Today is a day that many millions have set aside to celebrate the Birth of Jesus.  He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a sacrificial death, and has risen and ascended to the right hand of the Father making intercession for each of us.  He has promised to prepare a place for us in which we will spend eternity with Him and that He would return for us.  Those are the most comforting words and thoughts. 

This Christmas, unlike other years, due to the chaos and COVID restrictions as well as health issues we are not gathering as a family.  My wife and I will gather today with her brother and daughter.  We will exchange gifts, enjoy a time of laughing and loving each other.  It will be a time of reflection as to what this day is all about.  There will food and sweets.  Sadly, due to our grandson Cohan’s diagnosis with Leukemia and other medical and travel issues, we will not gather with our other children and grandchildren.  That is sad but we rejoice in what the day means and that our family serves the LORD.

Our nation is in turmoil and hate seems to have the upper hand over love, but in our heart of hearts, we know that LOVE will prevail.  The Love of God is more powerful than all the hate of the devil.  We will gather and reflect on God’s Gift to Humanity and His Grace.  We will rejoice in His blessings even as my wife battles Stage-Four Breast Cancer.  We will pray for His Kingdom to Come and His Will to be done on Earth as it is in heaven.  We will Celebrate Jesus!

Additionally, we will not forget that many are not so blessed and who will be alone on this special day.  I know what it is to be separated from family on Christmas during a time of war and although I had people around me that I would have and did trust with my life, they were like family but they could not replace my own flesh and blood family.  Now that I am in the Family of God my family has expanded dramatically and I have brothers and sisters all over the world with which I share the joy of this day.

So, attempting to be brief I simply say Merry Christmas!  It is my prayer that this day will be a joyous reminder of the Greatest Gift ever given when God gave us His Son so that we could become sons and daughters of God.  It is with a joyous heart I say, “Thank you LORD for your unspeakable and incomparable gift of Salvation!”  Thank you to my friends for your expressions of love and caring.  Thank you to my own immediate and extended natural family for the years of joy you have brought to my life and for all the times you have been there when at times you were totally unaware how treasured your expression of love is and was!

AMERICA AND GOD…


If I asked everyone to give their opinion or belief as to whether or not America was founded on Christian principles or was founded as a Christian nation, there would likely be three distinct responses.  Some would say, NO! That would be a categorical rejection of that idea.  Others would say, ABSOLUTELY! That would also be an unequivocal affirmation.  The third response would be, I Don’t Know, or something to that effect.  There is a basis to argue from all viewpoints, however, my view is that America was highly influenced by the Bible and Christianity and most of the Founders and Framers believed the words of Solomon in Proverbs 14:34 – “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” 

Those who insist categorically that America was not and is not a Christian nation do so from the view that our founders were far more guided by secular thought, self and state interests than the Bible or Christianity.  They acknowledge that the Founders were religious but believe that they rejected many Christian doctrines because they were deists.  The deist argument is one of the most prevalent in arguing against any Christian influence in our formation as a Republic.  I don’t want to get into the minute of that argument but suffice it to say this argument believes that deism, not Christianity was the major influence in America’s founding.

On the other hand, those who contend that Christianity and the Bible were far more influential than any other documents and writings cite the many religious quotations of the Founders.  If that position is taken too far it becomes, “Any quote by any founder supporting religion makes him an orthodox or evangelical Christian.”  I don’t want to take a weak approach in my argument for America’s Christian Founding so let me proceed.

It is a factual reality that in 1776, every European American, except for about 2,500 Jews, identified themselves as being a Christian.  At that time about 98 percent of the colonists were Protestants and the remaining 1.9 percent Roman Catholics.  What kind of Christians were they? Where they committed to the principles and cause of Christ?  Where they superficial in their following of the Christian teaching?  There are those that argue, based on their denominational or doctrinal view that many were not Christians because of their personal failures or omissions such as church membership.

Some were influenced by deism, but the majority were heavily influenced by Christianity and the Bible.  If you research history, you will find how difficult it was to become a member of the Calvinist churches in 18th century America.  If the standard by which we judge whether these men were Christians or influenced by Christianity is ‘moral perfection’ there has never been a Christian.  I would contend that Christianity was not the only influence on the Founders and the Framers of our American Constitution but it was a major influence. 

Historically, it would be difficult to deny that the Puritans who colonized America were not serious Christians.  Their desire and ambition were, in the words of Massachusetts Governor John Winthrop, to create “a shining city upon a hill” (a direct reference to Matthew 5:14).  The Puritans separated the church and the state but believed that both should work in tandem to support, protect, and promote true Christianity.  Were greed and the idea of personal gain involved in any colony?  Of course, it was and that might have been the major influence or motivator for Jamestown.

How can we overlook those fabulous words in the Declaration of Independence, “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”   The references to “the laws of nature and of nature’s God” and the documents close by “appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world” and noted that the signers were relying on “the protection of divine Providence.”  How could one argue that does not ring of heavy influence by the Bible and Christianity?  There were calls by our Founders to prayer, fasting, and thanksgiving issued by the Continental and Confederation Congresses. 

How can we overlook the fact that although the Constitution says little about God or religion the hints are there that they viewed America as a Christian nation?  Before you protest let me continue.  What about the inclusion that a pocket veto occurs 10 days after a bill is passed by Congress, Sundays excepted?  What about the directive of Article VI that prohibits religious tests for federal offices? 

Barry Alan Shain in “The Myth of American Individualism: The Protestant Origins of American Political Thought” makes a broad-stroked argument for the influence of Christianity on our Founders.  He received support from Donald Lutz, who examined 15,000 pamphlets, articles, and books on political subjects published in the late 18th century.  He concluded that the Bible was cited more than any other book, article, or pamphlet. 

Let me borrow from the Heritage Foundations research and argument that although the Bible or Christianity is not mentioned in the Constitution or the Bill of Rights, the Founders were influenced by both.

James Madison wrote in Federalist 51, “If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external or internal controls on government would be necessary.”  That understanding and Christian influence helped them steer away from utopian concepts.  It helped them turn from what many Enlightenment Thinkers of that day supported, “a strong centralized government run by experts.”  God deliver us from the so-called governmental experts of our day. 

Also, they believed, as do I, that God has ordained moral standards and that all legislation must be made in accordance with those standards.  In their writings, it is easy to discern that they believed that moral law took precedence over human laws.  I also believe it is easy to ascertain their view of liberty was heavily influenced by Scripture and Christianity.  Supreme Court Justice James Wilson said, “Without liberty, law loses its nature and its name, and becomes oppression.  Without law, liberty also loses its nature and its name, and become licentiousness.”

I’m sure this will upset some who do not believe in God or Creation, but our American Founders believed that human beings were created in the imago dei – the image of God.  I am equally convinced that many of them were devotedly convinced that religious liberty was a prize and right that must be protected extensively.  However, there were many who expressed their views that civil authorities should encourage Christianity. 

If you choose to cite the 1947 Supreme Court Decision of ‘Everson v. Board of Education’ and argue that the Founders intended an impenetrable wall of separation between Church and State let me suggest a consideration.  Consider the many Founders who made public statements and took governmental action to demonstrate their views were eons away from the modern view.  They believed that Religious Liberty was a Right and had to be protected.  I refer you to George Mason’s 1776 draft of Article XVI OF Virginia’s Declaration of Rights. “That as Religion, or the Duty which we owe to our divine and omnipotent Creator, and the Manner of discharging it, can be governed only by Reason and Conviction, not by Force or Violence; and therefore, that all Men should enjoy the fullest Toleration in the Exercise of Religion, according to the Dictates of Conscience, unpunished and unrestrained by the Magistrate….”

James Madison did not like the use of the word toleration and contended that it implied that religious liberty was a grant from the state and could be revoked and had it reworded, “the free exercise of religion” is a right, not a privilege granted by the state.  They also argued that religion belonged in the public square.  I refer to Thomas Jefferson’s letter to the Danbury Baptist Association.  It is argued that Jefferson insisted on a wall so prohibitive that nothing of religion could be in the public square.  However, if you research history you will find that Jefferson issued calls for prayer and fasting as Governor of Virginia.  He even drafted bills allowing the governor to appoint “days of public fasting and humiliation, or thanksgiving” and to punish “Disturbers of Religious Worship and Sabbath Breakers.”   

Jefferson suggested, as a member of the Continental Congress that the nation adopt a seal containing the image of Moses “extending his hand over the sea, causing it to overwhelm Pharaoh.”   He included the motto: “Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God.”  The separation that bans anything religious from the public square won’t square with that.  We could cite George Washington and his numerous references and appeals for focus on God both publicly and privately. 

I believe that our Republic as a society and as a government has drifted from the founding principles.  Our Founders believed it permissible and even encouraged the national and state governments to encourage Christianity.  That may not be prudent today, but to ban the influence of God, Christianity, and the biblical moral virtues and principles from all things public is to invite problems we could avoid.  Most of us would like to see an America where people are treated with respect and viewed as equal under the law.  Most of us would like to see an America where our government allows us to enjoy Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness without undue influence, regulation or control.

I am not calling for Christianity to control the government or the government to attempt to control the Church.  I am calling for all who believe and follow Christ to pray for this nation and pressure our elected officials to return to allowing states and communities to determine how much or how little of the Bible they want in their public sectors.  I am calling for everyone who prays to pray for America and our leaders.  I believe we were founded on Christian principles but also that our Founders wanted you to be free to worship or not worship as your heart dictates.  I believe in America and I believe in God!

BLOG POST 4 - Election Sermon

I cannot tell you how many people, including some of my fellow ministers of the gospel, seek to chastise me over any involvement in the political.  The argument usually comes to, “Separation of Church and State.”  That argument is one that I believe is based on a wrong interpretation of the Constitution and a failure to investigate the words, sentiments, statements, and actions of the early American politicians and the clergy.

I frequently consider the history of the nation of Israel and the American system of government.  No, I am not saying that we are or necessarily should be a Theocracy, but the principles God instituted in that nation’s governance, many are found in our American Constitution.  When God delivered Israel from Egyptian bondage after hundreds of years, He established them as an Independent nation.  He gave them some specific precepts and principles which included laws, rules, and regulations.  Initially, they remained faithful to those principles and directives, but over time they drifted and paid a severe price for disobedience.

In the process, God ordained and established that the roles of civil government (State) and the religious government (Church) were kept separate.  However, it cannot be ignored that He made provision for the two separate institutions to assist and benefit mutually for the influence of the other.  He did not allow for either to control the other but that the two would work harmoniously to produce the best good for the nation and its citizens.  I suggest reading 2 Chronicles 26 for an expanded understanding of this division.

Both Ezra and Nehemiah operated within the principle of citizens and leaders all needed to understand how the principles of God’s Word applied to every aspect of life and culture.  That included the religious and the civic.  Nehemiah 8:1-3 declares, “And all the people gathered as one man at the square which was in front of the Water Gate, and they asked Ezra the scribe to read from the book of the law of Moses which the Lord had given to Israel.  Then Ezra the priest brought the law…[and] read from it before the square.” 

I believe it is germane to our discussion to note that those in attendance were “the heads of the fathers’ households of all the people, the priests, and the Levites.”  It is impossible to miss that those in attendance were both civil and religious leaders.  This was a meeting that would determine the direction of the nation governmentally as well as religiously.  There was no prohibition for the religious leaders to absent themselves from matters of civil government.  Rather, they were encouraged to participate.  There was a similar gathering in 2 Kings 23:2.

In America, we have a record of such meetings.  The first was in 1633 in Massachusetts and that practice continued throughout the colonies up to and beyond the period of the Revolutionary War and the Constitutional Convention.  It was part of how we operated and adopted governmental policies.  In the deliberations of the Constitutional Convention, they began their meetings with prayer.  This was the theme and process followed by all the colonies.  Where is the mandate or even practice of excluding the clergy from the process?  They desired the insight and input from Scripture into their process.

In fact, there was a practice in the colonies that blows the modern theory of ‘Separation’ out of the water.  It was known as the ‘Election Sermon’ that was printed, frequently at government expense, and distributed across the State.  Included in many of those meetings were men such as John Hancock, Samuel Adams, Josiah Bartlett, Oliver Wolcott, Elbridge Gerry, and many more.  If those men had deemed it inappropriate for the Church to be a part of the process to define and determine government and governmental policies, they would not have attended.  They would have objected with great passion, but they did not for they believed that it was important to include the Bible and God in the process.

We have examples in the Bible where men of God confronted governmental leaders including Kings regarding their governance.  Elijah confronted King Ahab and Queen Jezebel.  Isaiah confronted King Hezekiah over national failures and issues related to money.  Eliezer and Jehu confronted King Jehoshaphat over his blunders in foreign relations and ill-advised foreign alliances.  John the Baptist confronted King Herod over his divorce and marriage practices.  Daniel confronted Nebuchadnezzar over his pride and arrogance. Azariah (along with eighty priests) confronted King Uzziah for usurping religious practices and improper expansion of governmental powers.  Those are just a few of the many found in Scripture.  Where is the Separation and demand for silence on the part of the clergy?

There is no biblical model whereby God forbade ministers to speak regarding political matters and to remain separate from civil issues.  Sadly, there are many who have accepted the definition of those following an all-powerful federal government mentality and believe that nothing of God or the Bible can be included in government deliberations.  The Bible is filled with directives for men of God to step into the civic arena and declare the Word of God.  There are many examples in which the Bible mandates that men of God step up and identify the wrong and right directions from God’s point of view.

The practice of the Election Sermon is one of many examples which clearly identifies the mentality and recognition of the Founding Fathers and the Colonist of the importance and value of following biblical precepts.  I pray that we will step back from that view and realize that the precepts taught in God’s Word offer a better way of life.  Excluding God allows or encourages people to become a law unto themselves and opens the door for incredibly self-centeredness and corruption.

Our first president, George Washington in his first inaugural address said, “…Since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven, can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained: And since the preservation of the sacred fire of liberty, and the destiny of the Republican model of Government, are justly considered as deeply, perhaps as finally staked, on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people.”

 I urge everyone to join me in seeking to return to an understanding that God’s guidance is not just important but vital for our survival and success as a Free nation.

BLOG POST 3 - Faith and Politics

I understand that I will possibly be challenged by some on both sides of the political aisle but my faith, which formulates my bedrock beliefs, determines how I vote in elections.  There are some issues that as a Christian I cannot reconcile with a particular political party.  I cannot reconcile a vote for them based on my core beliefs and what I believe the Bible teaches.  To do so would require me to renounce my convictions and thereby my faith, and my faith takes preeminence over everything else in my life.  If I am faced with a choice of voting for something that the Bible is opposed or what the Bible supports I choose to stand with the Bible.

For some, on both sides of the aisle politically, that is as grating as fingernails on a chalkboard. But for me, it is who and what I am.  Does that make me more righteous or right than anyone else?  No, it defines me and explains why I take the political stances I take.  If that is objectionable to anyone and you find it impossible to overcome, then I guess we part ways.  Do not ask me to shelve my convictions and core beliefs for the sake of your favor.  I must declare as did the disciples when ordered to no longer speak of Jesus, “Whom shall I obey, God or man?”  I would not ask you to change your convictions and reject your faith so please do not expect me to do so.

One of the issues that I find impossible to reconcile is the Right to Life and that includes the issue of Abortion.  I am adamantly Pro-Life and believe that life begins at conception.  Even if you argue that it begins later, surely you recognize that when that baby in the womb has a heartbeat in the first month, that signifies life.  Some will not acknowledge that reality and say No?  If you are like Hillary Clinton, you may argue that that thing in the womb is nothing more than a blog of tissue until it is fully born into this world.  A living organism that has a heartbeat, fingerprints, can feel is not a blob of tissue it is a baby, albeit an unborn baby.  I find abortion at any stage troubling but when it is in the last trimester I can view it as nothing short of murder.

Please don’t tell me this is about women’s health or a woman’s right to choose.  At what point is that life in her womb awarded a choice?  Her choice was before pregnancy.  I understand the argument of rape and incest.  However, how do two wrongs make a right?  I say that with empathy for the woman who suffered either of those abuses.  What about the child?  There is the avenue of adoption as an alternative to abortion.  I know the woman will endure the pregnancy and it will serve as a constant reminder of her plight, but how long will the emotional scars of aborting that innocent baby last?  There are always two sides to every coin.

Within the realm of the Right to Life is the matter of doctor-assisted suicide and self-defense.  No, they are not related but both fall into the category of the Right to Life.  I believe, based on my understanding of the Bible that taking one’s own life is not right.  The determination of when we die is or should be in God’s hands.  On the matter of self-defense, the Bible teaches, and our Founding Fathers understood that this right was inalienable.  That right includes the use of deadly force if necessary in defense of our lives and the innocent around us.  That is where the 2nd Amendment of our Constitution comes into focus.  That is a God-given right, not a government prerogative.

On the matter of welfare and entitlements, I believe it is the responsibility of every individual practice benevolence.  It, I believe should be the view of the Church, the community, families, and individuals to care for the poor, widows, and orphans.  There is nothing in the Bible that directs the government to do that and it is not a provision of our American Constitution.  In fact, those who wrote the Constitution believed that it was prohibited to take tax money for benevolence.

The Bible speaks of the person who does not provide for his own as being worse than an infidel.  It also declares that a person that will not work should not be given sustenance and provisions.  Therefore, when the government takes tax dollars and provides billions in entitlements and welfare that is counter to my faith.  There are some people who cannot work and provide for their own and I realize that if individuals do not do their duty and churches fail, we cannot let them suffer needlessly.  However, that does not mean ignoring the Constitution or our personal duty is okay.

Before you accuse me of being uncaring and unfeeling know that I believe and practice caring for the poor and needy.  I do not do as much as I probably should or even as much as I would like, but I believe that the onus is on the individual, not the government to care for the poor.  God’s promise is that if we give to the poor He considers it a loan to Him and He always repays.

When we adopted the mentality that it was the government’s job to care for the poor and needy we abdicated our responsibility and took the easy way out.  The easy way?  Seemingly, but the cost of that easy way has imposed a burden on the Republic that the foreseeable future generations will not be able to pay.  We have bankrupted the nation in our abdication of responsibility.

When a political party adopts a platform of Pro-Choice, Pro-Entitlements, and Anti-Self-defense, and in many ways Anti-Bible, I find it difficult to support that party.  No, I find it impossible to support that party.  For me, and I do not put this on anyone else, to do so would be to denounce my faith and reject my core convictions.  That is something that I cannot do.

Therefore, my core convictions and my Christian faith prevent me from voting for the Democratic Party because of their stance on abortion, self-defense, entitlements, immigration or amnesty for the illegals who violate our laws and those who harm our citizens.  I cannot support them because of their stance in favor of same-sex marriages, the mandate that those who hold convictions otherwise violate their conscience to accommodate those choosing that lifestyle.  I cannot support them because of their willingness to ignore the Constitution.

The Democratic Party booed God at their national convention and have taken positions that are in opposition to Christians who hold to traditional marriage.  They have demonstrated a willingness to impugn and vilify Christians insisting their biblical views disqualify them from public service including judgeships.  Our American Constitution identified as inalienable the right to Worship according to the dictate of our hearts without interference from the government.  Obviously, if my worship endangers the safety of other people that is not allowable either constitutionally or biblically.

Love me or hate me, accept me or reject me for what I believe, but know that it is my right.  I defend your right to believe what you choose and to express those views civilly and peaceably.

BLOG POST 7 - Unforgivable

Donald Trump has committed the Unpardonable Sin, in the minds of Democrats and Never Trumpers.  What is that sin?  Not it is not the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, for most of the Democrat politicians seem to have no interest or knowledge of the Bible.  So, what is his sin?  What is his crime for which he must be impeached?  His crime:  Obstruction of Liberalism.  That is the worst possible sin in the minds of those following the toxic brand of liberalism, progressivism, socialism, and globalism.  THAT IS UNFORGIVABLE and UNPARDONABLE!  Well, to them but not to millions of us who want that to transpire.

They are befuddled because he does not play the political game like previous Republicans and those in Congress.  He does not run from his own shadow as certain members of Congress and former administrations.  He has achieved some very impressive things despite the lack of support by members of his own party in Congress.  One of his accomplishments has been to virtually dismantle and obliterate the Obama Legacy and expose it for what it truly is.  Republicans claimed to want that, but the members of the House and Senate who are part of the RINO resistance and Never Trump coalition never meant what they said.  They made those promises and claims to elicit votes and win election or reelection.  Someone said, “Silence is golden, but when your Freedom is at stake it is yellow.”  Sadly, too many are exposing the yellowness of their spine rather than goldenness.

The Left believes that the policies they embrace are a birthright.  They believe that the Constitution is an antiquated dinosaur that must be revised, reinterpreted, removed, and ignored.  It, as lamented, the former president “prevents them from doing what they want.”  THANK GOD!  Liberalism has become a religion and a type of opioid that drugs the liberal mind to the point that they can worship at no other altar and pursue no other objective.  Never mind the failures of their policies and agenda.  Never mind the inadequacy of their ideological pursuits.  Never mind, the damage it does to the Republic – IT MUST BE OBEYED or ELSE!

The Left and too many on the Right are left in shock at the failure of the Leftists, the activist, the MSM, Hollywood, etc. to shake Trump from his agenda.  He is accused of being incoherent and unfocused but when I consider what has happened in less than two years under his administration that claim seems a bit out of step with reality.  They cannot understand how this non-politician’s behavior is not dictated by the opinion of others especially the Democrats and media.  He does not embrace the Code of Politics that seems to be an unwritten law in Washington, adhered to by both Republicans and Democrats.  He came from the outside and he has become their mortal enemy.  Their hate of anyone and anything that dares to refuse to worship at the altar of liberalism and Donald Trump has refused, thus far.  They take out their hate on anyone surrounding him, his nominees, and every policy he puts forth.  It does not matter that the Tax Cuts have given new life to the Economy.  Their objective and agenda are to REMOVE TRUMP first and focuses on America second, if at all.  His campaign slogan and motto, “Make America Great Again” is so infuriating to them some, like Andrew Cuomo declares, “America was never that great” or Meghan McCain, “America was always great.”  Acknowledging his accomplishments is beyond them.

The Left and some on the Right have decried his tariffs and insisted they would destroy the economy.  Amazingly, jobless claims fell to a new post-1969 record of 203,000 recently.  His trade negotiations with China and others seem to be opening the door to new agreements that are good for America.  However, the Left finds it impossible to give him credit for his business acumen and his resolve to address issues with America’s interest at the forefront.  NOPE, He is not one of them, and is impeding their progress, therefore, HE MUST BE DESTROYED!

They find it impossible to acknowledge a Truth that Conservatives and Constitutionalist have believed for a long time, Lowering Taxes does increase revenue.  It has provided nearly one-third of a trillion dollars in six months after the cuts in investment in employee training and infrastructure by American companies.  THAT IS AMAZING and worthy of praise.  The federal government collected a record $1.3 TRILLION in income taxes through the first nine months of FY18, beating the previous record by $71 BILLION.  THAT IS AMAZING!  Who knew that about half of all Americas were Nazis before he won the White House.  ABSURD, of course by that is the position of the Leftists.

Another inconvenient truth is that the Racism problem is the Left’s problem, not the Right.  Before you scream obscenities at me, take a look at who is spouting the Racist Comments and ascribing to Racist positions.  It is not the Right, by and large, but the Left, almost totally.  President Trump’s approval rating among Blacks has soared to 36% which is unheard of for any Republican since possible Abraham Lincoln.  His support among Hispanics has climbed an impressive 10 percentage points since summer, even while he and his family have incurred some brutal and heartless criticism and accusations.  The problem for the Left is Trump’s sound economic policies that benefit EVERYONE are hard to tear apart and people on both sides of the aisle (the rank and file) are realizing this is GOOD and WANT MORE.

Also, if anyone still argues there is no Deep State and Political Swamp in America they are surely blind and incapable of cognitive thought, but some of those exist.  When we consider the incredible corruption and collusion by the loyalist to Hillary and the Democratic Party in the FBI, CIA, IRS, DOJ, and State Department we cannot ignore the reality of the Deep State’s existence.  Trump has stirred up that hornet’s nest and the Hornets are determined to sting him to death.  The Russian collusion fabrication is a fraud and farce, yet, Mueller and his team continue and will continue UNTIL they find something to discredit Trump or fabricate it or UNTIL the GOP develops enough spine or Jeff Sessions does his job and says ENOUGH of this madness.

America has been Great and can be Great again and even Greater than at any time in our history.  Donald Trump with all his bluster, bravado, flying thumbs, and shooting from the lip has been good for America economically.  He has been good for America regarding securing our borders and in our dealings with foreign governments.  He has been good for the cause of protecting our Freedoms and Liberties.  Is he flawless?  ABSOLUTELY NOT!  He is a flawed vessel but protecting our Freedoms, defending the Constitution, and restoring America to her rightful place in the world and making life better for all Americas is in his heart.  I believe that, even if you do not.  I believe that He loves America, unlike the most recent president who preceded him.

We have the choice of allowing America to fall into the hands of the Left who want to complete the task of ‘fundamental transformation’ or we can elect Republicans and prevent the Blue Wave and the Government takeover they desire.  I stand firmly on the side of Faith, Family, and Freedom and ask that you join those of us who have taken that stance.  REMEMBER NOVEMBER and make the wave RED not BLUE.

CONSERVATIVES, CONSTITUTIONALIST, CHRISTIANS, and PATRIOTS – “Never Forget Who and What We Are Fighting.”


BLOG POST 1 - Enemy

Some will probably attempt to castigate me over the inclusion of Christians in my title, but I believe it is apropos and the importance of the political process to followers of the Christian faith is unmistakable.  I would never go as far as some on my side of the aisle and argument, that one cannot be a Christian and a Democrat.  I believe that is not only in error but rises to the level of Pharisaism that is important to avoid.  Just because people do not agree with us does not automatically make them evil, it may simply be they are misinformed or something, or it could mean that we are.  I always seek to stand with the revealed declaration of God through the Bible and in all matters political that conflict with those prescribed edicts I oppose the politics and/or the politician desires to advance those ideologies.

We are traversing some incredibly dangerous waters nationally and that causes great trepidation in my heart.  I am concerned, and almost fearful for my nation and believe that the rift between various sectors, ideologies, and peoples is plunging us headlong into the abyss of destruction.  The incessant diatribe and rhetoric of the Media, Hollywood liberal elitist, activist, and politicians is not just dangerous it is both diabolical and destructive.  I don’t care if you are on the Right or the Left if you are fanning the flames of hate and not actively seeking a peaceable solution to our differences you are or dangerously close to being part of the problem rather than the solution.  I will have push-back on that from both sides of the aisle but as a lover of Freedom, America, and God I can purpose no other course of action but trying to find common ground.  NO, I do not suggest that we violate our convictions ceding to the demands of agendas contrary and anathema to God’s Word.  I do not suggest that we cede our stance that the Constitution is the Law of the Land and our Inalienable Rights are not negotiable.  BUT, I do contend that we need to quell the anger, cease the superfluous diatribe and parroting of talking points and political soundbites and LISTEN to each other.  If we ever laid aside our biases and LISTENED, we would likely find more commonality than is being realized today.  We can continue the barbs and battle of words and find ourselves in a full-blown civil war that will destroy this Republic and allow for Tyrannical Despotism to arise out of a state of martial law.  NOBODY, on either side, should desire or be willing for that to transpire.

Recently in various states, there were special elections and primaries in which there were signs of corruption.  Some of the antics and events solidify my belief and argument that the Left is predisposed to doing whatever it takes to win or steal as many seats as possible in November.  In Ohio, the razor-thin lead by the Trump endorsed Republican over the Democrat has been taking some disturbing twists and with the input of John Kasich Ohio, one wonders how much help the Republicans will get from government officials in that state.  The miraculous discovery of “588” UNCOUNTED VOTES in a ‘so-called’ routine audit which provided a net gain of 190 votes for the Democrat is questionable. Amazingly, some of those votes were from people in excess of 115 years of age!  HOW CAN THAT HAPPEN?  How can the Dead Vote and that not be a problem?  It causes me to wonder what the outcome of the “provisional” and ‘absentee’ ballots will provide for the Democrat.  The plan of the Democrats is the eventual win by the Democrat. 

Why am I even concerned with this one race?  I am concerned because it appears that too many Republicans and Conservatives are willing to SIT HOME and allow the Left to win in November.  Many of us are unhappy with the GOP leadership in Washington in the House and Senate.  Many of us believe that the Republican Establishment is so anti-Trump they are willing to lose control of Congress and see America suffer rather than back his agenda, which is also the agenda of millions who voted for him.

If we allow the Democrats to regain power in November, there is far more at stake than meets the eye.  Think with me for a moment about the crucial committees that will be headed by Democrats should that happen.  Adam Schiff would most likely become the Chairman of the Intelligence Committee. THINK ABOUT THAT!  Adam Schiff!  Do you really want that to become a reality?  The congressman who brays like a Donkey about Russian collusion while covering up crimes by Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, etc.  He would immediately halt any investigation into the Obama administration and focus all his energies and resources on Donald J. Trump.  He would turn that committee into a dogged determined “hunt for anything” against Trump and as we have already seen, the willingness to use phony intelligence and documents would not be off the table for him and them.

It does not take a Blue Wave for the Democrats to regain power.  It would only take a few thousand conservatives, constitutionalist, patriots, and/or Christians in each of the 23 pivotal congressional districts to STAY HOME and they achieve their objective.  Even if a ONE DEMOCRAT majority transpires we are in deep trouble in America.

If the Democrats continue their path toward Socialism and Big Government where Big Brother dictates every dimension of our lives they will either destroy themselves or the Republic.  On Donald Trump’s watch, we have seen unemployment drop to 3.8%, economic growth has doubled that of the Obama administration, taxes have been cut for 8 of 10 Americans, and the Obamacare individual mandate has been repealed.  We have seen serious efforts to overhaul the VA and there is a concerted effort to secure our borders and much more.  Yet, there are those who are Conservatives, Constitutionalist, Patriots, Republicans, and Christians who are so adamantly opposed to President Trump they cannot see the forest for the trees and deny, deny, deny his successes and ours.

I will say again and brace for the assault that will come from some detractors, “Donald Trump is not the enemy of America, Toxic Liberalism as demonstrated in the National Democratic Party is.”  No, I am not saying that every Democrat is the enemy of America but those at the top and those embracing the toxicity of the Liberal Socialist Agenda are!  We can prevent any rise in power by the Leftist in November IF and that is the key.  IF we Unite, become engaged, and participate in the Elections.  IT IS UP TO US!

I wish that I did not feel the need to write this article on HATE but I do.  I wish that the answer to Rodney King’s question, “Can’t we all just get along?” was YES, but it isn’t.  I wish that we could agree to disagree, be amicable, fight for our ideological positions in a civil manner, but it seems we cannot.  At least not in today’s PC Correct Political World.

It is my contention that the Liberal Left hates Donald J. Trump with such a passion that they would dance in the streets were he to meet his demise and no longer be present on Planet Earth.  I also contend that they hate him, not just because of who he is but because he has, largely, sided with those of us on the Right who stand for Conservative Constitutional Christian values.  They hate us and they hate him and now it is virtually impossible to determine who they hate more, him or us – but HATE US THEY DO.

Remember Hillary calling us DEPLORABLES and Obama’s description of us was BITTER CLINGERS who held onto our guns and their religion.  They hated us long before Donald Trump arrived on the political scene and will hate us long after he is gone.  The Inspector General’s report confirmed what it denied – POLITICAL BIAS in the FBI and if the truth were told in the DOJ, CIA, NSA, Homeland, and so many governmental bureaucracies.  The political bias is one-sided as was clearly revealed in the IRS scandals under Lois Lerner where conservative and Christians groups were targeted.  The FBI’s Peter Strozk and those working with him were determined to STOP TRUMP at all costs and it is now apparent that the costs will be astronomical for America going forward.  HATE is a powerful motivator, clouds all sense of reason, and justifies actions calling them the moral high-ground or righteous.  HATE is destructive, not productive and anyone who engages in the fury of hate is not just hurting the object of their hate but themselves as well.

Those who are classified as the middle-class have long experienced the intolerance and hatred of the Progressive Socialistic Liberal Leftists, largely Democrats on a national level.  The language and rhetoric of Hollywood and media personalities such as Robert De Niro, Alec Baldwin, Joy Behar, Jimmy Kimmel, Samuel L. Jackson, Bill Maher, and an endless list of others are utterly repulsive.  I have never tried to paint Donald J. Trump as a saint but do believe that God had a hand in his election. You may disagree and argue that God does not get involved in politics.  I would argue against that based on the entire Bible and such references that inform us that he sets up and takes down leaders and that He is concerned with every detail of our lives.  If He is, as some like to argue, an “absentee landlord” then He is not the God of the Bible, in my view.  I don’t pray for God to help my favorite sports team win over another team but I do pray that God guide this nation and the elections directly impact the direction of the nation, so YES, I believe He gets involved.  HATE is never acceptable and it matters not if it is coming from the Left or the Right, HATE IS WRONG!

The PC Police of today, the censorship by Liberal Universities and the cry for silencing everything on the Right labeling it HATE SPEECH is rooted in hate, not the advancement of our nation or society.  The demand for TOLERANCE by the Left while demonstrating UNBENDING INTOLERANCE is not simply the result of hypocrisy it is the fruit of the root of HATE.  There are those who so HATE this President and any of us who support him to the point they would be filled with glee were America’s economy to collapse, and this President was to fail at every turn in diplomacy and the fulfillment of his campaign promises.  I wish I could say this was a passing fad or condition but I believe it is the result of decades of HATE being taught and caught and is now generational as well as ideological.  We are living in a world where we have at least two if not three generations of indoctrinated haters in all aspects of our society.  That can only result in dire times and incredibly dark days for America and Americans.

Let me give you a sampling of some things said by Liberal Leftists Democrats regarding those on the Right:

  • Montel Williams – “Michele Bachmann, slit your wrists. Go ahead… or, do us a better thing.  Move that knife up about two feet. Start right at the collarbone.”
  • Rapper Everlast’s tirade was filled with “F” bombs about the president and suggested that if the Secret Service was not on their toes, he’d take out the president.
  • Bill Maher – “I have zero doubt that if Dick Cheney was not in power, people wouldn’t be dying needlessly tomorrow… I’m just saying if he did die, other people, more people would live. That’s a fact.”
  • Courtland Milloy – “I know how the ‘tea party’ people feel, the anger, venom, and bile that many of them showed during the recent House vote on health-care reform. I know because I want to spit on them, take one of their “Obama Plan White Slavery” signs and knock every racist and homophobic tooth out of their Cro-Magnon heads.”
  • Charles Karel Bouley said on the air – “I want MF Joe the plumber dead.”
  • Representative Paul Kanjorski, (D-PA) – suggested putting Governor Scott from Florida against the wall and shoot him.
  • Stephen Crockett called for strapping Katherine Harris and Ken Blackwell to an electric chair and light them up like Christmas trees.
  • Allan Brauer, the communications chair of the Democratic Party of Sacramento County said to Ted Cruz staffer Amanda Carter – “May your children all die from debilitating, painful, and incurable diseases.”
  • Dan Savage – “I wish they (Republicans) were all (blankety-blank) dead.”

I try to be cautious about saying anything about someone deceased but Chef Anthony Bourdain said that he would poison Donald Trump if he had the chance.  Remember Kathy Griffin and a host of others and the vile language and calls for violence against Trump and his supporters.  THAT IS HATE!

We can never achieve the greatness that America was and can be if we continue down the road of HATE.  Some may not like this statement, but WE NEED A REVIVAL IN AMERICA.  We need a move of God where hearts are changed.  We do not all have to agree or want the same thing but we need to be healed from the condition of HATE that is now prevalent.
