I realize that I am about to embark on a journey that will possibly receive criticism and critique from those who normally agree with me and those who never do.  I may find that I have become anathema to both sides of the political aisle and find myself odious to some of my fellow believers.  That being said, I will try to say what I believe the Bible teaches and my view, formulate from that interpretation on the subject.

In Daniel 2:21, the passage that I have heard quoted often regarding political elections.  It says, “It is He (God) who changes the times and the periods; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.”  I do believe that God is the Living God, the One True God, the Sovereign God of the universe!  I believe He puts people in political positions or allows them to ascend to whatever office they occupy! 

In the Book of Daniel, we have the record of Nebuchadnezzar, ruler over the Babylonian Empire 600 years before Christ.  This powerful ruler had a dream or a night vision and after seeking the interpretation from the soothsayers of his realm, Daniel gave him the true interpretation.  In Daniel 4:17, Daniel told the king that God gave the dream, “in order that the living may know the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, gives it to whomever He will, and sets over it the lowest of men.” 

Nebuchadnezzar was not a nice person.  He was a vicious tyrant who threw people alive into a furnace to be burned.  Imagine that, a dictator or tyrant having people burned alive.  Does that remind you of anyone in modern history?  He even threatened his advisors with mass murder if they didn’t give him the dream and the interpretation. 

We know from scripture that God hardened the heart of Pharaoh in Egypt until Egypt was brought to her knees because they persecuted the Hebrews.  In Exodus 9:16, God sent Moses to inform Pharaoh, “Indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.”  In Daniel 2:20-21, we find Daniel declaring that God controls world events, removing and setting up kings.

The apostle Paul told the Christians in Rome, “All authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.”  (Romans 13:1) I would be remiss if I did not ask, “Does that mean that God endorses evil leaders with all their flaws and sordid agendas?”  I would insist the answer is NO!  I believe that it means that God has a purpose for humanity, and with America in mind, a purpose for America.  I believe that Romans 8:28 is applicable and that God takes the choices of people and events of life to blend them together with the end in view.  He works all things together for His purposes and our good.  Each thing nor each leader is not good but God as He has done throughout the Bible and history uses them for His purposes.

There are times that God arbitrarily decides who is going to be the leader of any given nation.  I believe that more frequently, He allows people to decide who will lead the nation.  He allows us to make choices, not always good choices, and elect or select people to govern who do not follow the precepts and principles of God’s Word.  I am reminded of Psalms 106:15 referring to the people of God who had been delivered from Egyptian bondage.  In previous verses, we discover the people rebelled against God, forgetting His works, not depending upon Him for guidance, but pursued their own desires.  In verse 15 we read, “And He gave them their request, but sent leanness to their souls.”

Sometimes, in our bad choices or selfish desires, we select or elect bad people to govern us.  God said in Hosea 8:4, “They set up kings, but not by Me; They made princes, but I did not acknowledge them.”  I am not speaking people prophesying that a particular candidate would win the election.  If God said, “Candidate X is going to win, candidate X is going to win!”  The only caveat to that would be if God said, “Candidate X is my desire, and if My people will be obedient and pray, he/she will be elected.” 

I am speaking to the issue of whether we have any choice in who is elected and if God wants someone in the White House or any other office they will occupy that position. He could arbitrarily do that! He is God.  God can do anything He pleases and none of us could question that.  He owns it all, He created it all, and He is LORD over it all.  However, like in the Garden of Eden, He gives us choices and it is in those choices that events transpire.  The fact that something happens does not mean that is His will, it means that is the path we chose.  Sometimes we open the door to evil by making wrong choices or in disobedience.  If we obey, we eat the good of the land.

The apostle Paul in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 gave some incredibly wise and godly advice to all believers.  It is applicable for today’s America and those of us wonder what God could be thinking in allowing the destruction that is being pressed upon us as a consequence of the 2020 elections.  He said, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings, and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.”  I shout Amen, Paul, Amen!

I believe it is necessary that believers everywhere pray for those who are charged with leading the government.  We are not to pray for them to succeed in their agendas if those agendas are converse with the principles of the Constitution or the Bible. 

I am going to tread on thin ice and say that the slaughter of over 61 million unborn babies, the trampling on moral principles, the gender nullification, the assault on the home and family, and the anathema shown toward God and the Bible makes it understandable if God judges this nation.  Peter declared in 1 Peter 4:17, “For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God, and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the Gospel of God?”

In biblical and world history we can see that God has used evil rulers to accomplish His plans and draw His people back to Him.  Habakkuk 1:5-11 is a prophecy in which God relates His intention to raise up Babylon, a ruthless and dreaded nation, to achieve His purposes.  I say that with Romans 8:28 echoing in my heart and encouraging my spirit.  We must never forget the truth of James 1:13 that “God cannot be tempted with evil, and He Himself tempts no one.”

I take comfort in the revelation given in Scripture of the Finished Work of Jesus and His total triumph over the forces of darkness.  People make bad choices and allow evil to prevail but that does not mean that God wanted the evil to transpire or the tyrants to rule.  I believe that He uses those situations to allow people to come to the end of themselves, repent, and realize their need for Him. 

No matter who is in the White House we must never allow fear to reign in our hearts.  We must continue to be rock solid in our belief and confidence that God is God and trustworthy.  I take great comfort in the account in 2 Chronicles 20:1-37 with Jehoshaphat and Israel.  It looked as if certain doom was their fate.  I love the king’s prayer in (vv.6-13).  He reminded God of His promise and the people of their responsibility.  Then a prophet stood and declared the Word of God.  We need to hear God clearly and correctly and then follow His word no matter how things look.  The miracle is incredible and the victory complete!

When we trust God there is no reason to fear!  I do not believe that it was God’s desire for Joe Biden to be president of the United States of America.  However, through many circumstances including bad choices or misguided choices, he now occupies the Oval Office.  What I do believe is that, as in many accounts in the Bible and history, what is meant for evil, God can and will turn for good.  God just may be allowing us to see the depth of corruption, the total abandonment of moral sanity and the Constitution, and when we reach the end of ourselves and turn to Him, He will move!

I believe the most important thing the believer can do today is “Seek God and His Kingdom.”  I believe that we must stand in the gap and make up the hedge.  We must pray and intercede for America.  We must not cast away our confidence in God and make it the purpose of our hearts to “Do His Will.”  We are to be salt and light and we are to influence the world rather than the world influencing us.  Stop listening to the voices that detract from God, His purposes, and promises.  Turn to God’s Word and to God in Prayer and allow your spirit to be refreshed.  We are commissioned to ‘pull down strongholds’, to do the works that Jesus did and greater works.  We are authorized and commissioned to destroy the works of the devil.  We do that with spiritual weapons and trust!

Only a few years ago, I would have railed on anyone saying that America is or is about to become a Totalitarian state. That was only a few years ago. But in 2021, I confess I was wrong and under the current administration, the Democrat-controlled Congress, and the Swamp-filled Supreme Court we are there. You may disagree and insist that I am overreacting and to that I say — I Hope So! I pray that you are right and that I am having a classic knee-jerk reaction to the rapid and rabid assault on our liberties, freedoms, and the American constitution.

I heard something recently on the Tucker Carlson show that caused me great concern and at the same moment instilled a flicker of hope in my heart. What I heard came from the lips of a former Clinton adviser, Naomi Wolf. One of her many statements was that what is happening in the push to totalitarianism is beyond partisan and should unite those on the Left and Right to fight it. The operative word is ‘should’ not ‘would’. It should but from my perch, it seems that almost none on the Left and too few on the Right see, believe, or maybe even care.

I’m not sure that the condition of incredible apathy or non-involvement is due to not seeing or simply not caring. It seems to me that, for many, they have not been impacted sufficiently to be alarmed. The tragedy is that by the time that transpires it will be too late to fight back and the republic will have become a full-blown banana republic with the totalitarian dictators and oligarchs in control. The abdication of sanity by the Supreme Court over the election fraud cases makes it clear that the Deep State and Swamp are still in control.

I am more convinced than ever that our hope was another four-years of Donald J. Trump. You may find his personality as irritable as fingernails on a chalkboard. However, if you are capable of rising above the personality of the players and see the results, you should see the stark contrast in constitutionalism between Trump and Biden. Biden has shredded it daily and Trump fought for our liberties and freedoms. Biden is decimating our economy. The Trump administration produced an agenda that ignited it and benefitted everyone. Biden is erasing our borders and endangering our republic with his immigration policies and Trump made significant gains in protecting our borders and our national sovereignty. Biden is kowtowing to China, Russia, Iran, and others whereas Trump placed the world in a safer position by providing a strong America.

Ms. Wolf said, “America is becoming a totalitarian state before our eyes under President Biden’s leadership.” That came from a Democrat, not a Right-Winger. It came from a female, not the dastardly white male, well dastardly if that male was a conservative. Liberal Leftists white males are considered ‘woke’ sufficiently to be given a pass. Her view was that we are witnessing a ‘coup-like action that is creating a police state.’ This is the result of Biden’s ongoing coronavirus-related economic shutdowns and other actions.

Ms. Wolf declared what I and others have been contending for a long time, “This is beyond partisan. It transcends everything that those on the Right and Left might disagree or agree on.” It is a matter that should bring all freedom-loving Americans to the table of cooperation and ignite a fire of commitment to protect, defend, and preserve the Constitution and our Republican Form of Government. Again, the operative word is ‘should’.

The Left and the manipulated on the Right have decimated businesses, issued edicts that prevented Americans from freely assembling to worship as is guaranteed by the Constitution’s 1 ^st Amendment. The 4^th Amendment is being trampled upon and the 2 ^nd Amendment is in the crosshairs of the Leftists and seekers of Totalitarian governance.

Ms. Wolf has published a book that outlines the ten steps that would-be tyrants always take when they want to close down a democracy and she expressed her belief and concern that America is headed toward ‘step 10.’ The use of executive orders or emergency orders stripping us of our rights is unconstitutional and dangerous. The rights of property, self-defense, speech, and assembly are constitutional mandates that if lost, destroy the pillars of freedom required for America to remain free.

The Editor in Chief of Breitbart, Alex Marlow has produced an investigative book that exposes the deep corruption within America’s media establishment. That is not a surprise, but his research and documentation is and should shake every lover of freedom and patriot to the core of their being. Mr. Marlow said, “I’ve been immersed in research on America’s media conglomerates for a year and I’ve kept the material tightly under wraps.” That was wise because otherwise, it would likely have brought about his demise. He said, “What I have found is shocking even to me, and I’ve tracked these players and issues my entire career. ”

His expose contains well over 1,000 endnotes. He said, “Media bias does not begin to describe what is in the book.” He spoke of the weaponization by the media giants and the unbridled use of fake news to benefit the Left, the globalists, and the multi-national corporations that control much of our lives. It extends from cronyism to the China ties, to the unending web of lies and half-truths that are prevalent and deeply embedded in today’s media. He said, “This is the truth about the 2020 election story the powers that be don’t want you to read.” That makes me want to buy the book and hope it is not much ado about nothing and more hype and foam than substance.

We are witnessing the utter fakeness of the imbecilic presentation of a liberal utopia. When politicians gain power through fraud, everything that follows is also fake. We were inundated with fake news and fallacious stories about Russian collusion in 2016. That was debunked and disproven so succulently that it should have resulted in indictments and convictions, but it continued for FOUR-YEARS!

We have been bombarded with the fallacious rhetoric presented by the Left that America is on the brink of a second civil war. The divide is great and growing greater. The hate is so prevalent that one wonders how long it will be safe to step outside your own home. The tech giants have become the censor arm of the Leftists and now there is a determined effort to censor and silence ALL conservative news outlets. If you are a Constitutionalist, a Conservative, and often a Christian holding to traditional biblical and family values you are deemed to be a spreader of hate speech and thereby censored.

The video where President Biden repeated what he was being told in his earpiece or whatever device he receives instructions was revealing. He said, “salute the Marines.” His handlers tell us we misheard him and that he actually said, “good looking Marines.” NOPE, he said what he said, and it is one of the myriads of incidents where he is clearing parroting what he is being told.

Some said that the ceremonies of his signing Executive Orders look more like a hostage situation than a person in control and making their own decisions. He is, in my view, a puppet, but a very dangerous one. I hesitate to say this because I do not want to judge another person’s faith, but to call Joe Biden a ‘devout Christian’ seems a stretch. You know the tree by the fruit and the fruit of support for abortion on demand, and the other agendas and actions that are contrary to the written Word of God causes me to wonder. That being said, in the end, that is between Mr. Biden and God.

America, if we have not become a Totalitarian State, we are not far from it. The handwriting is on the wall and it is time for all True Patriots regardless of political party to unite to stop this and preserve the Republic. Can we count on you?

I asked that question and had a follower of toxic liberalism say, “It’s on the map between Asia and Europe.”  Wow!  If I were asking a geographical question rather than a rhetorical one that might be a valid conclusion.  However, my question, “Where is America?” is not about geographic location but governmentally, socially, morally, and judicially.  I am asking, where this nation is with respect to constitutional governance and judicial integrity.  So, “Where Is America?”

We were told by Obama and Biden that there was not ‘one whiff of a scandal in their administration.  We were told that, but everyone including those two players in the scheme of ‘fundamental transformation’ knows it was light-years from the truth.  The more things are revealed the more we see the corruption of leading figures in the Democratic Party.  The tentacles of corruption do not stop at the Party line but there are prominent Republicans whose hands are dirty too. 

I don’t like the blanket charge of something be systemic such as institutional racism or whatever the PC Police and Snowflake world claim to discredit Trump and/or Conservatives.  However, I believe there are signs of ‘systemic corruption’ in government.  It is not relegated to the elected officials, if it were, that would be a relatively easy fix.  It reaches into the vastness of the Swamp and Deep State and is embedded in every government bureaucracy.

We watched the Department of Justice and the Internal Revenue Service become weaponized under Obama.  We watched the Intelligence Community and the Federal Bureau of Investigation become tools to target and attack those not following the ideology of toxic liberalism, globalism, socialism, and anti-Americanism.  If you were not a part of that team you were a prime target for attempted destruction. 

I have shouted from the rooftop for over two decades about the systematic implementation of schemes to make America something other than the Free Constitutional Republic we were given by the Founding Fathers.  I have cited the numerous incidents of indiscretion and playing free and loose with the rules, the constitution, and our national security by the Obama administration and his subordinates.  Some have charged that I have become a broken record.

Some claim I never cited any failures of Trump and the Republicans.  Those who know me know that is not the truth.  Unfortunately, perception often becomes a person’s reality and once they take a side, they refuse to acknowledge anything that discredits their position.  I am not always right. I know that is a surprise (tongue firmly planted in cheek). But, when I realize I have been wrong; I try to quickly rectify that position.  I repent where needed, recant my statements, and present the truth.  I do not care if a violator is on the Right or the Left, America is too valuable a prize to allow the corruption that now exists to continue.

I cite one more incredibly damning bit of factual information regarding the state of corruption in the Obama administration.  An administration that Joe Biden was an integral part of.  After years of investigation into Trump’s supposed violations of the law, the constitution, and complicity with foreign governments with nothing being produced the Left has ignored all the facts regarding their side.  The United States Senate has produced documented evidence of another improper action by former President Barack Obama.  His administration knowingly funded an al-Qaeda affiliate.  I guess his promise that if the political winds turned sour, he would side with the Muslims included siding with those who consider us the Great Satan every time.

The non-profit humanitarian agency World Vision United States improperly transacted with the Islamic Relief Agency (ISRA) in 2014 with the approval of Obama.  He allowed government funds to be sent to an organization that had been sanctioned over its ties to terrorism.  I may not be a legal scholar but that sounds like an act of sedition and treason, but then I’m just a dumb deplorable so what could I know?

The ISRA had been sanctioned by the United States since 2004 after it had funneled about $5 million to Maktab al-Khidamat, the predecessor to Al-Qaeda controlled by Osama bin Laden.  I keep trying to give the benefit of the doubt and acknowledging that World Vision works to help people in need around the world, an admirable activity, they might not have known ISRA was on the sanctions list.  But, and that is a big ‘but’, government officials specifically released at least $115,000 of the grant even after it learned of the terrorism connection sanctions.  AFTER it was fully aware it provided funds to our sworn enemy.

World Vison’s legal department was notified of ISRA’s status as a sanctioned entity in September 2014.  Let me see, who was President?  It was not George W. Bush or Donald Trump.  It was Barack Hussein Obama and his Vice President Joe Biden.  In May 2015, the Obama administration fully cognizant of the sanctions recommend OFAC grant World Vision’s request for $125,000 for ISRA. 

I am less concerned with what World Vision knew or did not know than what the Obama administration clearly knew.  His billions in cash to Iran, the systematic dismantling of our military and the purging of the upper echelon of various branches, and his weaponizing of bureaus and agencies trouble me.  His complicity and that of Joe Biden in the targeting of Trump and Trump associates in 2016 cannot be overlooked.  The questionable financial windfalls of Biden and his family in connection with foreign governments not all friendly to the United States is troubling. 

We have mountains of information in various investigations that implicate Obama, Clinton, Biden, and various members of that administration, bureaus of government, and even members of Congress.  Yet, all that seems to be deemed business as usual in Washington.  This present Democratic Congress dating back decades is willing to send billions in foreign aid to countries for purposes that border on the ridiculous while ignoring Americans and America.  That is troubling!

Back to my question, “Where is America?”  If we are talking about the America of the beginning, it has been tarnished and twisted into an unrecognizable state.  If we are talking about the America of my youth when even Democrats and Republicans acknowledged the validity and authority of the Constitution, it has been eroded so dramatically it may not be restorable.  America, as described and defined in our Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and the Bill of Rights no longer exists because of the systemic corruption of power hunger political elitists we keep sending back to Washington.

I do not know if America as established and envisioned by our Founders Established is recoverable without another revolution.  I pray that it is.  I only know that we cannot continue allowing politicians to go unscathed by corruption and allow them to infringe upon our inalienable rights and trample on the American constitution.  Everyone must be held to the same standard regardless of status or ethnicity. 

I believe that if we do not return to our moral moorings and a renewed valuing of the Constitution that America is gone forever.  I believe that the only thing, short of a full-blown revolution and a new government established is GOD!  I believe that God is sovereign and All-Powerful.  However, I also recognize that He gives us choices, and, in those choices, we determine the outcome.  I am praying for an outpouring of His Spirit, Word, Love, Grace, and Mercy on America and the world.  LORD, let it begin in me.  Transform me, I pray!

I wish that were simply a rhetorical question filled with sarcasm and parody, but I am earnestly serious.  I have, with enormous chagrin watched the sweeping moves of the Biden administration, the Democratic Establishment, and the RINOs posing as patriots.  Virtually every action they have taken, their rhetoric and spin have been destructive, divisive, and dangerous.  The anti-Republicanism and pro-Totalitarianism and Oligarchism are painfully evident. 

If it were the politicians alone engaging in these acts, I would be less concerned and have greater hope for the nation.  Unfortunately, there are millions of people who either do not think or do not think past their personal animus and the immediate who not only buy the spin but spread it like manure on a garden.  I truly wonder if there is hope for the nation and if the Whole World has gone mad?  I hope I am being overly dramatic and overreacting, but I have a sense I am not.

There are so many things being advanced and implemented by the Left that I hardly know where to begin and find it impossible to enumerate them all.  Therefore, let me cherry-pick a few and see if they give you cause for angst and concern. 

Joe Biden is committed to the agenda of granting amnesty to the 11-40 million illegals living in the United States.  Imagine that? During a time when there are over 17 million legal American citizens jobless, this is his plan!  The CNN town hall event led by Anderson Cooper in Wisconsin was incredibly revealing.  It was not encouraging but revealing of the true agenda and the willingness to openly pursue it by Biden and the Left.  I did not watch it all, but saw portions of it and have read the transcript.  It makes me tremble with deep concern for my beloved nation.

The plan is to immediately grant ‘green cards’ to all the illegals who will step forward.  He wants to and has ordered the immediate implementation of reversing the order for the hundreds of thousands of illegals to be turned away or deported.  He chooses, as did Obama, to ignore those that evade the federal authorities or release those apprehended into the interior of the country.  Give them a court date and expect them to show up, is the plan.  While we are at it, why don’t we simply order criminals to stop committing crime and I’m sure that since it is a Democrat ordering it, they will comply, right?  Watch out for the Unicorn poop where you are walking.

Not only is he desirous of the eradication of our borders and thereby our national sovereignty but he has made other ludicrous statements.  Joe Biden says, “White Supremacy” is the greatest threat to America, not ANTIFA, BLM, ISIS, or any other Leftists or radical Muslim or foreign groups. 

The incredible reality is that Mr. Biden believes that ‘White Supremacy’ has resulted from actions by military veterans and former police officers.  That’s right, Mr. Biden believes that the men and women who served in uniform and wore the blue as police officers are threats, not protectors.  He calls for Unity but that is nothing more than ‘hot air’ when he casts dispersion upon our veterans and our police officers.  He claims to have gotten into politics because of civil rights, but history reveals that some of his closest allies were Klansmen and devoted racists.  His political actions did damage to blacks and hampered racial relations more than they helped.  I believe Mr. Biden speaks with a forked tongue and he got into politics for fame, power, and money.

Mr. Biden insists that former President Trump refused to denounce the ‘Proud Boys’ and that has been debunked so many times it needs no mentioned.  Mr. Biden has trashed police and our military while former President Trump praised and honored them.  We are a nation of laws and without those who protect our national security and provide national defense and enforce our laws, we become a lawless society dangerous for everyone.

I don’t like to use this language, but I remember Mr. Biden referring to American service personnel as ‘stupid bastards.’  We watched the Obama administration use our intelligence agencies and the FBI to screen our troops under the pretense that those loyal to Donald J. Trump were potentially dangerous and domestic terrorists.  How much effort has gone into screening those loyal to Islam, ANTIFA, and BLM?  Biden’s new Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has launched an effort to purge the military of all conservative, constitutional supporters.  When we have a military that is filled from top to bottom with Leftists, what will prevent them from becoming the muscle of a Fascist Dictatorship?

I am going to say this, and it may get me kicked off social media and make me anathema to many.  Joe Biden is despicable and unfit to be commander in chief!  His disdain for our military and our police makes him a threat to our system of government and the safety and security of our Republic.

Joe Biden insisted that he would not speak to the Chinese Leaders regarding the genocide in that nation.  He said, “Every nation has a different set of cultural approaches to things.”  He considers the Uighur genocide as part of “China’s different norms.” Seriously?  Genocide is okay if it is a cultural norm?  Well, I can understand that since you and your family are owned by the Chinese government and you support abortion on demand.  Genocide and infanticide, to you, seems to be a normal way of life.  I’m sure if it touched you personally, you would view it differently, but you envision yourself as a protected class.

The architect of Obamacare, Ezekiel Emanuel has been tapped by Joe Biden as a ‘health care advisor.’  Emanuel has declared his view that senior citizens who are not actively contributing materially to society and the government’s coffers, should ‘get out of the way.’  Out of the way?  Yes, he meant DIE!  He believes that anyone living beyond 75-years-of-age is atrocious.  Therefore, he disdains medical care that prolongs life and is opposed to aggressive measures such as chemotherapy.  However, he is also against the widespread use of antibiotics for basic care.  I guess, he believes that if one gets sick the best thing for society is for them to die.

Joe Biden and the Democrats want to destroy the fossil fuel industry and make us totally dependent upon foreign oil and the alternative energy sources advanced in the New Green Deal of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Left.  He wants to tax us into oblivion and implement regulations and restrictions that make it an impossibility for a mom-and-pop small business to operate.  His plan will make energy unaffordable for many, healthcare virtually nonexistent, jobs scarce, and our inalienable rights revoked or infringed upon to the point we all become criminals for speaking our minds. 

The Left finds everything about God and the Bible offensive.  They want to force us to comply with the gender lunacy and allow men to go into the bathrooms and locker rooms with women and girls.  They want to make political correctness the law of the land and everything that does not coincide and comply with the toxic liberal ideology will be hate speech.  They want reparations for those who were never slaves paid by those who never owned slaves.  They want to divide this nation to the point that such civil unrest breaks out that imposition of martial law and total control becomes acceptable to millions.

I ask again, “Has the Whole World Gone Crazy?”  America, please wake up and help those of us who are putting our lives on the line in speaking out reclaim the republic!

I wish I could say that I do not believe that is the current state of affairs in America, but I do believe we are on the brink of losing the Republic.  I have prayed and thought much about the condition of things political, spiritual, social, societal, economic, and in every dimension of our nation.  In that time of reflection, I have concluded that our situation is not Republican or Democrat. 

It extends far beyond who is going to occupy the White House for the next four years or four months.  It is beyond simple ideological differences between conservatives and liberals.  It is beyond the view of those who believe in Constitutional Originalism and those who believe that the document is living and evolving.  I believe this is a battle for the soul of America and the Flame of Freedom.  It is a battle to preserve our God-given inalienable rights.  This is a fight between good and evil.

No, I am not saying that Republicans, Constitutionalist, Conservatives, or Donald John Trump are ‘good’ in the sense they are saints.  I am not saying that those on the other side are ‘evil’ in the sense they are all diabolical and devious intentionally destroying the republic and stripping us of our liberties.  However, there are those guiding the ships of both ideologies that are both diabolical and devious. 

There is a commonality in the Deep State Proponents and the Swamp Denizens that believe those in power (elected officials and bureaucrats) are the rightful rulers of everything and everyone.  That is frightening but it did not occur overnight and is not the result of the 2016 election of Donald J. Trump as the 45^th President.  It began long before that.  The reality is that it began before the establishment of the United States in the late 1700s.  It began in the eons past when Lucifer instigated a rebellion that drew one-third of the angels into his camp and resulted in his eviction from heaven.

For well over 100 years there has been an orchestrated, planned, and implemented agenda to shred the Republic known as the United States of America.  The elevation of self to a preeminent place has facilitated the idea that each successive generation is smart enough to make the failed and flawed philosophy of Socialism and Communism work. 

Human greed and the engendering of a mentality of entitlement have resulted in a society of brainwashed young citizens and some not so young.  We have had at least three if not four generations of false information and historic revisionism promoting an Anti-Capitalistic, Anti-American, and Anti-Christian mindset.  The indoctrination and constant bombardment by the educational system and liberal biased media have diminished people’s ability or willingness to think critically and engage in any deductive reasoning.  We are in our current condition partly because the church has failed, the home has been weakened, and the government has become irreparably corrupt.

You may disagree but I see a concerted effort to use the COVID-19 paranoia and lockdowns to destroy small businesses.  Why would anyone want to destroy small businesses but have a hands-off approach to mega-corporations and big businesses?  I believe it is because if small business, which makes up the lion’s share of our economy, is destroyed then people become dependent upon Government. 

Dependency upon Government means that the government or politicians and bureaucrats can dictate our lives.  Why is that important?  As long as the American Dream is alive, and people are allowed to think outside the box and fend for themselves producing wealth and a measure of power they are not controllable by the government.  Big business has long been in bed with politicians and government and is part of the manipulation.  I laugh when the liberals rant about corporations and the rich because the rich and corporations facilitate the agenda of liberalism.  The Democrats have a long history of complicity with Big Business in control and destroying the mom and pop businesses.

It is imperative that the followers of the toxic liberalism of today’s Democratic Party and too many on the Right extinguish the flame of freedom.  As long as we are allowed to ‘keep and bear arms’, maintain our personal and private property, and worship as we choose, we are not controllable.  The moment we can no longer travel, defend ourselves, or provide for our own we become pawns of the benefactors.  Those benefactors do not have our best interest at heart but control.  Therefore, the flame of liberty must be extinguished, or they lose control. 

We have transitioned from covert and undercover corruption and criminality by players in government to openly flaunting their corruption and engaging in their crimes.  When we allow one set of rules and laws for the average citizen and another for politicians, we doom our Lamp of Liberty to become dark.  What I see is a creeping darkness moving stealthily across the land.  Can we prevent the total erosion of our liberty and salvage the Republic?  I do not know, but I know that God is still God and His Promises are still true.

I am stunned at how easily the Government was able to make us sheep, destroy our economy, and strip us of our inalienable rights on numerous fronts.  I am not surprised at the cries for barcodes, bracelets, or something to identify those who have been vaccinated.  I am stunned at the willingness and even agreement of a large segment of our nation.  I am even more stunned that men and women of the cloth who are guiding congregations of people would board that train and insist upon compliance.  Has no one read the Bible, especially the Book of Revelation?

I am not saying that the vaccine, masks, or sheltering in place are the mark of the beast.  I am saying that this is a test run to see what, how easily, and to what extent they can, without force, bring us into compliance.  I do believe there are those who are devoted followers of this agenda who are willing to use force, even executions to achieve their goals.  I do believe that this present darkness is birthed in the pit of hell and that unless and until the Body of Christ unites in prayer and commitment to God standing against this evil we will move deeper into the darkness.  There is a point of no return when the Republic is lost forever.  Are we there?  I pray not but am concerned that we are dangerously near.

I beg everyone to consider the potential fraud in the election and what it will mean in elections to come.  I beg everyone to consider the threats to our inalienable rights that are being proposed by the Left.  I beg everyone to consider the horribleness of the genocide embodied in abortion.  I beg everyone to THINK!  If you earn something do you truly believe it is just and right for that to be taken and given to those who are unwilling to do the same? 

We were given the Free Constitutional Republic where the Lamp of Liberty was lit and warned that it would be up to us to keep it burning.  I quote a passage from Galatians 5.  I know that its primary focus is spiritual, but it can be applied to every aspect of life.  “It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.”  We are Free in Christ and if we want to remain Free in our lives as Americans, we must not allow the Lamp of Liberty to be snuffed out.
