I realize that any reference to God turns some off in today’s world, but most who read what I write are not turned off by God.  They may or may not ascribe to the doctrine, tenets, and core beliefs I hold but they believe in God.  Some who are in the trenches with me regarding this Republic believe the much-bandied argument about “Total Separation of Church and State.”  I believe that argument is not consistent with the intent and even the declarations of our Founding Fathers, you may not.

I have long lamented over what appears to me to be a loss of the vision, purpose, and the intent of our Founding Fathers in their American vision.  My historical research and study solidify my belief that most of our Founding Fathers and the Framers of the American Constitution were religious men.  No, they might not have been followers of the same doctrinal tenets that you or I follow but they believed in God and wanted His favor on the Republic.  Our code of laws is clearly based upon and rooted in biblical principles, especially the Ten Commandments.  Any that argue differently are not, in my view, being intellectually honest.  Again, I’m not trying to offend, just stating my beliefs.

John Adams said, “Liberty can no more exist without virtue than the body can move without a soul.”  I am not alone in my view that we are living in a time of societal collapse and ever-increasing decadence and depravity.  I ask you to read 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 and Romans 1:18-32.  It speaks of strong delusion in the mind and having a reprobate mind.  When I contend and lament that we are living in a collapsing society morally I have some say, “It is no worse than any other time, decadence and depravity have been with us as long as there has been man.”  Yes and no.  I believe that the level or extent of the moral decay of today is far worse and far more open than at any other time in our human history. 

Research has revealed that as of 2014, over 70% of all African-American children are born out of wedlock. That is three-times the statistical data from 1960.  Can you think of any governmental action from the 1960s that might have affected or encouraged that trend?  Let me help you.  It was Lyndon Johnson’s ‘Great Society’.  That was an effort by the Democrats that was theoretically supposed to ‘fix’ all the problems with race, inequality, etc. The more I read Johnson’s documented positions the more I realize it was to enslave voters not relieve racial or domestic tensions.  It has encouraged having babies for pay.  If the mother was in the home without the father, the pay was even better. 

In 2014 research also reveals that about 50% of all Hispanic children are born out of wedlock and 33% of all Caucasian babies as well.  That is troubling on many levels and reveals a trend in our society that can only lead to a more pronounced moral collapse.  When you abandon traditional marriage, a home with two parents, and the discipline and training that affords you are asking for decay and you get it.  In 1970 only 15% of all American babies were born out of wedlock.  Wow!  When you calculate the rate of all groups is it at 40%.  Surely that troubles you, it does me!

When we stop to calculate the cost of programs that stemmed from the ‘Great Society’ Programs we find that it weighs in at $22 Trillion.  Has that massive sum solved the problems of equality, crime, race, gender, etc.?  Far from it, we are worse off on most fronts than ever with no light at the end of the tunnel, aside from the Return of Jesus!

There was a study done by the University of Pennsylvania that suggested that young men who grow up in single-parent homes, usually with a father or a husband in the home are placed in an economic straight-jacket.  The report also stated that the statistical data for those young men is that they are twice as likely to end up in prison as those in traditional two-parent homes with a father and a mother.

The consistent theme in this decline has been our abandonment governmentally and societally of biblical principles while embracing political correctness, expanding entitlements, and the pursuit of gender nullification.  The diminishing of the value of human life as seen in ‘abortion on demand’ is not a minor part of the problem.  I grew up in the 1960s and in the middle of the ‘sexual revolution.’  That mentality and abandonment of moral principle, not politics helped create this monster.  However, politics has piggy-backed on it to advance various devious and nefarious agendas.  We are paying the price and our children and grandchildren will pay an even higher price.

I believe in the concept of ‘imago Dei’ or that we are created in the image of God.  If I view all other human beings as beings created in the image of God, then I am bound by a moral standard that dictates and determines my interpersonal relations with those people.  Yes, they may slap my olive branch aside and in full vengeance attack.  I must defend myself in those cases, but I still believe in the concept and principle of the biblical truth that “a soft answer turns away wrath.” 

Our first president, the now maligned, George Washington in his first inaugural address said eloquently that “religion and morality are the finest props of the duties of men and citizens.”  He added that they are pillars supporting “the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity.”  He said, “Reason and experience both forbid us to expect the national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.”  Does that sound like a man who wanted “Total Separation of Church and State”?

I close with the words of Edmund Burke, the English philosopher: “To be attached to the subdivision, to love the little platoon we belong to in society, is the first principle (the germ as it were) of public affections.”  Politics today is more a war than a debate.  It has morphed from differing ideologies and agendas into an attempt to completely obliterate any opposing views.  A society that abandons God and moral principle will decline into a state where human life has no value, and it is every man for himself. That is chaos, anarchy, and results in despotism and tyranny taking charge. 

I am sounding the alarm and giving a warning, hopefully a clear one, that we ignore to our own hurt.  Help me and the millions like me who want to reclaim the Republic and see us embrace the directive of 2 Chronicles 7:14 in America.  I am praying for national repentance and a return to moral rightness.

I mean that in more ways than simple $$$.  I am speaking morally, societally, constitutionally, and nationally.  However, the dollar cost of their agenda is astronomical and expresses a view of Americans that is unhealthy and unacceptable. 

I thought that the 8-years of Barack Obama were as bad as things could be, but I was wrong!  The new Democratic Socialists of today want to do far more damage to our economy, our citizens, our national sovereignty, and our system of government than even Obama thought possible.  Their agenda expresses a complete disregard for the Constitution and lack of concern for legal American citizens.  I guess, the prospects of a very large voting bloc of illegals are so appealing that they are throwing all caution to the wind to win!  That is despicable!

Democratic Party Chair Tom Perez has confirmed that his party fully embraces and endorses “free healthcare for illegals.”  That is beyond this American’s ability to comprehend with any semblance of sanity.  No, my position is not about compassion or the lack thereof, it is about America and American citizens.  If America and Americans do not come before Illegals we have destroyed the Republic and the America birthed in 1776 is no more.  That is deeply saddening to this veteran patriot who has served in the armed forces in war.  How dare they trample the memories of those who died for our Freedom.

The Democrats have escorted the Illegals to the head of the line for healthcare and various other entitlements or ‘freebies.’  Things they do not deserve, should not be granted, and they do so at the expense of needy Americans.  How can the Democratic Party claim they are the Party of the People?  What People?  I argue, based on their policies it is not the American people but those they view as potential Democrat votes in future elections.  Illegals are their new pathway to a political dynasty and control.  We must not allow that to become a reality.

In the 2^nd night of the 1st debate, all 10 of the would-be nominees raised their hands that they would favor covering illegals with health insurance or providing free healthcare.  That means they would move them ahead of the struggling veterans needing care, the middle-class workers who have been priced out of Obamacare, the baby boomers facing likely Medicare cuts.  Thanks, Democrats, you just gave me another reason to oppose you at every level. 

The cost, glossed over by the Democrat POTUS hopefuls is significant.  According to the Pew Research Foundation, there are approximately 10.5 million illegals in America today.  I think that number is much higher.  Yale University and MIT demographers suggest that the real number is double and more like 21 million.  Either way, the cost of their Democrat Plan is staggering not to mention disgusting in their disregard for Americans needing care.

Depending on which set of numbers you employ in calculating the cost of enrolling that entire population in Medicaid ranges from $84 billion to $176 billion per annum.  You might be able to pare from that number those illegals who are working and have insurance through their employer.  That could drop the number to $50-$100 billion each year. That is with the current numbers.  But what happens if the Democrats win and our borders are erased?  The influx of illegals will rise exponentially, and the cost will as well.  Candidates, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Bernie Sanders also want to change the law and stop prosecuting illegals except those guilty of committing ‘serious crimes.’  Invading America and trespassing on our soil is deemed a wrist slap offense to them. 

Not one of them is as committed to caring for the elderly and veterans as they are illegals.  I wonder why?  Congress is nickel-and-diming the Veteran’s Administration and the entire budget for 2020 is $8.9 billion.  Compare that to the estimated cost of insuring illegals.  Doesn’t that make you feel all warm and fuzzy?  No, it should infuriate you and embarrass you and more so if you call yourself a Democrat.

Congress is appropriating a measly $1.5 billion for homeless veterans.  The Left would have you believe that this is inconsequential, and money is no object.  That doesn’t hold water when you consider their failure to care for the elderly and veterans but going full bore to provide for the illegals.  I guess the elderly and veterans are not a sure thing politically, so they are unnecessary, but illegals provide a ray of sunshine for their political hopes, so nothing is too good or too costly for them.  That is despicable.

California, and I hate to keep picking on California, has voted in their state legislature to fund health coverage for illegals to the age of 25.  Wow!  How do they plan to pay that tab? Simple, they are slapping a huge fine on anyone who does not have insurance.  That fine can be up to $3,252.  Seriously?  The illegals have no insurance, so you are giving it to them free but American citizens who cannot afford health insurance get fined.  Yet, you call yourself the Party of the People and the Party of the Working-man!  Can I offer you some oceanfront property in the middle of the Sahara Desert?

A person making $80,000 a year (which is barely survivable income in Los Angeles) does not qualify for an Obamacare subsidy.  That poor stiff will have to pay for healthcare for an illegal.  That should make everyone want to move to California, right?  Yeah, and the moon is made of green cheese, unicorns are grazing in my backyard, and pigs can fly.  This is another attack on the middle-class by the Democrats.  If one earns over $48,650 as an individual or $65,840 as a couple they do not qualify for the subsidies.  The illegals not only qualify they get the full freight paid for them at no cost, no penalty, and for doing nothing!  Sounds like a good gig if you can get it.

We dare not forget that in 2010 the Democratic lawmakers stole $750 billion from future Medicare funding to pay for Obamacare.  They literally robbed Grandma to fund their boondoggle healthcare Ponzi Scheme.  Now they want to go a step beyond. 

I have only addressed one of the reasons we cannot afford the Democrats and believe me there are dozens more that we need to and will talk about as we go forward.  America, if you like your country and want to keep it, you MUST vote no on the Democrats in 2020 and beyond.  The choice is yours and if we make the wrong choice everyone will pay dearly as we watch America destroyed.

I more frequently than I care to admit get angry, and it is not always righteous indignation, at the antics and actions of those who continually trash America.  I have sat in perplexity wondering, “what could they be thinking?”  Those who live here, but continually trash this nation want all the freebies, benefits, protections, and liberties the Republic affords but want to fundamentally transform America.  Into what, I might ask?  Most of them have no clue what they want her to become but parrot the rhetoric and diatribe offered by the Liberal Leftist following the toxicity of liberalism, socialism, communism, and hate. 

Someone recently asked me, “Is America Still the Land of the Free?”  My immediate reaction was, ABSOLUTELY!  Then, I tapped the brakes, gave it some thought and said, “I Am No Longer Sure!”  That is a statement I would never have dreamed possible but is a current reality. 

We live in an America where about 50% of the population is working almost tirelessly to destroy what we have, what we have been, and what we are.  Why?  Is it that the genuinely believe that America is an evil empire much like the regime of Atilla the Hun, Genghis Khan, Stalin, Mao or other despots in history?  The failures of every Socialist and Communist attempt worldwide seem to be completely invisible to them.  They are totally oblivious to the potential, inherent, and real dangers of that system of government and economy.  They, in my mind, are “messing with a bull.” 

The Bull of Freedom and Liberty!  The Spirit of Independence and the drive and desire to be free and live without the restraints and chains of tyranny produced America!  Those became a Bull respected, hated, and feared by the rest of the world.  Tyrants dared to “mess with the bull” and each time they discovered the reality of an old saying I grew up hearing.  “If you mess with a bull you get a horn in the rear!” 

I do not fear our foreign enemies because I believe that our ability to contend with those forces are once again formidable enough to endure and produce victory.  I have enough confidence in our men and women in uniform and the remaining American spirit and resolve to believe that, if attacked, we will respond unitedly enough to be victorious.  You may or may not agree and some hate the military enough they want no standing Army to exist.  That is not the view of this patriot, veteran, Christian, and American.  I salute our troops and always have!

The enemies I am most concerned with are the domestic parasites and political prostitutes.  Those following the toxic view that the power of the state should be paramount over the liberty of the people.  Those who view government as the giver of rights, liberties, freedoms and vested with the power to decide who lives and who dies.  Those who view all things Conservative, Constitutional, Christian, and Traditional anathema and are engaged in varying levels of animosity and war with those elements of our American society.  They concern me.

Why?  The major reason they concern me is ignorance!  Sorry, if that offends anyone but I do believe that the entire slate of Democratic POTUS hopefuls are on a mission to destroy not revive our American ideal.  They are all proponents of not just abortion but expand it to abortion on demand or infanticide. 

They do not want to call it murder, but what do you call the taking of a life that has been fully birthed and viable?  If you snuffed out the life of your neighbor what would you call that?  I know what the law normally calls it, but I’m not sure what the followers of today’s Democratic Socialism would if the individual was a conservative or Christian.

They are all proponents of governmental theft through excessive taxation.  Hey, we fought a war, in part, over that issue back in 1776.  I call to your remembrance the Stamp Act of 1765 and the Tea Act of 1773?  We are rapidly heading toward if we have not already fallen prey to the evil clutches of Socialism and authoritarian fascism.  If you do a little digging in the annals of world history, you will uncover the declaration of Italian dictator Benito Mussolini’s definition of a fascist state.  He said, “corporatism and the merger of corporate and state power” produced that state.  I see the evidence of that today and hear it from the Liberal Leftist POTUS candidates.  They are “messing with a bull!”

Do you remember “too big to fail” being applied to various corporations and the bailouts of GM and Chrysler and banks?  Too many Americans have adopted a view that the government is our ‘knight in shining armor’ or the ‘Calvary rushing in to save the day.’  Too many believe that it is the duty and responsibility of the government to provide both their needs and their wants.  They believe that it is incumbent upon the federal government to ‘redistribute the wealth’ because they somehow deserve to share in other people’s labors. 

Anything the government gives us has a price tag and extracts a price and demands a piece of our liberty in the process.  Whatever the government provides and subsidizes it controls, at least in some measure.  That produces an ever-expanding infection that produces the incurable disease of tyrannical rule, political oligarchy, and ultimately the total loss of liberty and freedom.  Nothing from the government is without strings attached and the cost of ‘government help’ is beyond any reasonable valuation of their service.  My liberty is too valuable to sell for a bowl of porridge.  They are ‘messing with a bull!’

I hope that the Bull they are are “Messing with” will result in the American people rising up, drawing a line in the sand, and saying, “No More!”  I hope that the “American Bull” will see the red flags being waved in front of our faces and take the appropriate action, at the polls and evict ALL THE INTERLOPERS and reclaim our Republic.  Will we do that?  The 2020 elections will be a good indicator of the existence or absence of the Spirit of 1776 and Independence.  It burns in me and hopefully millions more like me.

Thomas Jefferson once stated: “Even under the best forms of government, those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.”  Although the number is disputed by some, even President Ronald Reagan once noted that there are roughly 20,000 laws regarding gun control alone, and that’s just the federal illegitimate laws.  So many other laws exist that it’s been estimated that the average American commits approximately three felonies day.  That makes the authorities’ task simple if for any reason they wish to victimize you.  Just ask the Bundy Family, Hammond Father and Son, LaVoy Finicum’s Family, Lt. General Michael Flynn, and Michael Cohen and a few others. 

America, are we going to take it without resistance or are we going to allow the Leftists resistance ‘fundamentally transform America’?  You and you alone can answer that question but as for me and my house, we will stand for Faith, Family, and Freedom as long as we have breath.

Well, it began in eternity past with Lucifer tried to overthrow the Most High God of all Creation and was evicted from heaven.  But, for those who do not ascribe to that explanation and reject the Bible as their guide, it has been around for a long time.  What has?  The hate, bitterness, rhetoric, diatribe, ranting, the pursuit of power, and willingness to use any ploy to gain control.  That is what I’m talking about!

I would love to laugh at the accusations that Donald J. Trump is the source of the hate, evil and violence in today’s world but that rhetoric is too dangerous to laugh at!  There is plenty of blame to go around and there is no easy explanation or solution, other than God.  The banning of Mitch McConnell’s Twitter feed over the video showing factual events of protesters outside his home and their vulgar, vile, and dangerous rants while allowing those of Leftists who call for the same as the protesters to continue, reveals the level of animosity and hypocrisy existing today.  We are in a very dangerous time and the need is glaring for all of us, both sides of the issue, to seek sanity, not rhetoric, solutions not blame. 

The core foundational basis for Planned Parenthood revealed in the actions and expressed views of their originator Margaret Sanger was eugenics and deeply steeped in racism.  Who supports that entity more, Republicans or Democrats, Trump or the Leftists?  Do I really need to give specifics on that?  Sanger argued for compulsory sterilization and segregation for people with disabilities. In her infamous speech in 1932 “My Way to Peace” she gave a detailed process and targeted specific groups of people for elimination through sterilization and segregation. 

She said, “The first step would be to control the intake and output of morons, mental defectives, epileptics.”  She argued for a broader approach that included forcing the ‘undesirables’ to choose sterilization or placement in state work camps.  She said, “The second step would be to take inventory of the second group, illiterates, paupers, unemployables, criminals, prostitutes, dope-fiends; classify them in special departments under government medical protection and segregate them on farms and open spaces.”  They would only be allowed to return to mainstream society if they agreed to sterilization and demonstrated good behavior.  She estimated that between 15-20 million Americans would be targeted in this reign of terror.  To her, this was humanitarian and necessary.  She believed this would produce a superior race of people and a Utopian world. 

Her bias was not just to the group of people listed in the preceding paragraph but also the Negro population, she considered inferior.  Planned Parenthood performs more abortions among blacks than any other ethnicity. Woodrow Wilson, as governor of New Jersey, signed a law in 1911 mandating the forced sterilization of “the feeble-minded.”  Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, in the Buck v. Bell case in 1927 declared forced-sterilization statues constitutional.  At least 60,000 American citizens were sterilized against their wills under the weight and authority of such mandates. 

Eugenics was practiced in the United States before it was the norm in Nazi Germany.   Black educators and intellectuals such as W.E.B.Du Bois, Thomas Wyatt Turner, and many academics from Tuskegee University, Howard University, and Hampton University agreed with eugenics.  They believed that the best blacks were as good as the best whites and “The Talented Tenth” of all races should mix.  W.E.B. Du Bois argued that “only fit blacks should procreate to eradicate the race’s heritage of moral iniquity.”  I hope that shocks you!  How is this a Trump issue when racism and the press for the eradication of the ‘so-called’ undesirables has been prevalent among Progressives and Liberals for decades if not centuries?  This is not new!

This morphed into blatant racism and we saw the rise of the KKK in bygone eras. The Black Panthers, and New Black Panthers, ANTIFA, Aryan Societies, White and Black Supremacist groups arise spewing hate and advocating the purging of society.  This is not new and will be around until the end of time.  It is a heart and mind issue, not simply a political or legislative one.  No law will fix hate in the heart!

Today we have the vile rhetoric and diatribe of Representative Joaquin Castro of Texas calling for attacks against Trump supporters.  He has tried to walk that back a little, but his message was clear and received by his followers.  He insisted that Trump and all Trump voters are engaging in “White Supremacy” and “Racism.”  On MSNBC special guest Elie Mystal pressed the hysteria to an even more vile level in his hate for Donald Trump and any Trump supporter or voter. 

He called for protesters against Trump to form mobs outside the SoulCycle and Equinox chairman’s home in the Hamptons and take action.  He said, he wanted to go beyond outing Trump supports saying, “I mean I go further, I want pitchforks, and torches outside (Stephen Ross’) house in the Hamptons.”  He said there is no reason people should not be outside making their voices peacefully understood.  With Pitchforks and Torches?  Peaceful?  Maybe I need a new dictionary but that sounds very other than peaceful.

The shooter in Dayton, Ohio had ties to ANTIFA, was a registered Democrat and protested against the KKK with a weapon.  Wow!  In Port St. Lucie, Florida a lunatic asked a Wal-Mart clerk for a gun to kill 200 people.  He is a gun control advocate was attempting to make some gun control point.  That is not curbing violence it is encouraging it. 

Woodrow Wilson was an avid racist and wanted to suppress blacks by every means possible.  The late Senator Robert Byrd was a member of the Ku Klux Klan Exalted Cyclops.  He was joined in his racist bigotry by Al Gore, Sr. and other prominent Democrats of that era.  The Democrats voted in a very racist manner in the past and their policies of the present do far more harm than help for those of minorities.

The Democrats voted to keep African Americans in slavery, opposed the 13^th Amendment.  They were opposed to the 14^th Amendment which granted slaves U.S. citizenship.  They opposed the 15^th Amendment giving the former slaves the right to vote.  They opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1866 and the Reconstruction Act of 1867.  They advocated and voted for Jim Crow Laws and Black Civil Codes that forced Americans to utilize separate drinking fountains, swimming pools, and other facilities in the 20^th century.  They opposed the 1957 Civil Rights Acts and those nay votes included Kennedy and Al Gore, Sr. It was Senator Everett Dirksen, a Republican from Illinois who penned the 1968 Civil Rights Acts which banned housing discrimination.

The calls for violence are largely coming from the Leftist Activists.  The vulgar and vile pleas of De Nero, and many other Hollywood activists, comedians, and other activists are dangerous.  I acknowledge there are fringe elements on both sides itching for a fight.  However, the mainstream of the Right is not calling for violence but many on the Left including presidential hopefuls are inciting violence.  When did it all begin?  Long, long ago.  When will it end?  At the end of the 1000 Year Reign of Christ. 

America, Trump is not the problem!  Generational racism and mind-numbing brainwashing are at the core of this matter.  I vote No on the Left and refuse to passively sit by while my country is victimized by the political prostitutes sell their souls and our liberties for power.

Yes, my statement is rooted in a Bible verse citing from the lips of Jesus in Matthew 23:27-39 as He lamented over Jerusalem.  My America has, in many ways, abandoned her heritage and forgotten from whence she was formed.  Some may not appreciate what I am about to say because it will be rooted in my faith and arises out of my concern for the moral fiber of my beloved nation, the United States of America.  If that is you, you probably want to stop reading now rather than become upset with me and my position.

I make no apologies for my faith, it is my foundation and that which keeps me going.  It is my basis for a hopeful future and inspires me to strive to do better and be better each day.  Recently, in prayer and meditating on the Word of God, the conditions of our world, and searching for solutions something arose within my spirit that will not turn me loose.  It is with me every day and many times throughout the day I will muse on the thought that I believe was birthed in my heart by the Holy Spirit.  Again, what I will say today, is rooted in the Bible, my Faith, and my love for America and Freedom.

The thought that came to my heart and causes me to use the title I have chosen was a question.  “If you knew that this year was your last on earth, what would you do?”  There will come a time, for all of us, that that eventuality will become a reality.  Everybody dies, it is just a matter of when and how.  Death is inescapable and as the Bible declares in Hebrews 9:27 every human being has an appointment they will keep with death.  Please understand that I am not trying to be morbid but hope to bring us to sober consideration of our life, past, present, and future. 

America has become anesthetized on many moral issues and that makes me weep.  We have allowed Political Correctness and the PC Police to bully us into accepting things the Bible calls abominable.  There is a saying, “What parents allow in moderation their children will do in excess.”  I am not sure who first said it and I find its roots in the Bible but have found it to be a reality in my years of Christian ministry and serving as pastor of congregations.  Today’s church today, too often, has allowed the threat of government intervention and the loss of their tax-exempt status to bring about a modifying of their stance on some issues.  That is tragic! 

Abortion, to this American Christian and Patriot, is an example of our insensitivity to the sanctity of life and opens a very dangerous door that includes euthanasia and genocide.  I weep when I think of the 60 million lives that were never allowed to complete their journey but were aborted before they could become what they could have become.

We have allowed greed, envy, hate, and perversion to prevail, more frequently than I could have ever imagined.  We have churches and religious schools modifying their positions in the name of inclusivity placing them at direct odds with biblical precepts and tenets.  I weep when I discover that and wonder what the disciples would have said, and if our LORD is standing at the portals of heaven and weeping over America as He did over Jerusalem.  Today’s America and those seeking to ‘fundamentally transform’ this nation are waging a very real war on our moral and traditional values and on the faith of millions of Christians.  We have replaced God with the god of political correctness and the dangers and damage are indomitable. 

But back to the thought and question that has caused me to evaluate and reevaluate what I am doing and why.  “If you knew that this year would be your last on earth, what would you do?”  I want to be careful to articulate this in a way that is not condemnatory or give the impression that I am somehow ‘holier than thou.’  That is as far as the East is from the West from my intent.  I want to inspire each of us to reevaluate our lives and our purposes.  I want us to come together as a people and see the restoration of our heritage and the re-mooring of our morality to the anchor that birthed this Republic.

It is not my intent to question anyone’s salvation or relationship with God. That is a personal matter that only you and God can determine.  I may look at what you say and what you do and wonder but I do not know your heart, only God can.  You may look at me and my positions and question my salvation, but you do not know my heart, only God does.  Therefore, my purpose is not to question or condemn you but to encourage you to take some definitive actions that will bridge every aspect of life including the spiritual, political, and relational.

I would hope that the first thing and the daily thing you would do if you knew this was your last year would be to make absolutely certain of your standing with God.  Some will say, “But you can’t know.”  I suggest you meditate on 1 John 5:5-13; 1 John 1:9; Romans 10:9-10; John 5:24; John 14; John 15; and a myriad of other passages.  2 Timothy 1:12 frequently comes to mind when I think on God and salvation, “…I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced or persuaded that He is able to guard or keep that which I have entrusted or committed to Him until that day.” 

Matthew 16:26 gives a reminder that I frequently meditate upon regarding the worth of my soul and my relationship with God in comparison to anything else.  Nothing is more valuable than the peace of my heart and the assurance that my name is written in heaven.  All will die, and all will stand before God and the books will be opened and having our names written in the Book of Life is critical.

I would hope that, if you knew that this year was your last, you would prioritize everything and do that which is absolutely the most important.  I would hope that you would seek to shore up crumbling relationships, if possible and give and receive forgiveness.  I would hope that you would consider posterity and the legacy you are leaving behind personally and as a nation.  I would hope that you would determine that popularity and ease and secondary to what is right and best. 

I am finding, within my own heart, that the more I focus on God, the more I see rightly politically, relationally, fiscally, and spiritually.  I find that I cannot be silent on some things and cannot speak regarding others.  I find my heart craving to leave my children and grandchildren a world better than the one in which I now live.  I find my heart more desirous of reaching people for God than persuading them politically because I know that the eternal is far more valuable than the present.  That does not mean I will not be involved in the political discussion or arena, it means that I believe that if I can reach a man or woman’s heart and help them to truly make Matthew 6:9-13; 14-15; 33-34 foundations in their lives I will achieve what is needed spiritually, societally, and politically. 

Love me or hate me, but I ask that you ask yourself, “If you knew for certain that this would be your last year on earth, what would you do?”  Then begin to do it because even if this is not your last year it will be the best approach you can have for life.

I’m sure that some, like MSNBC host, Kasie Hunt think that refers to the Republican Party.  The stubborn facts and inconvenient truth are that it does not.  Inconvenient for them!  Kamala Harris launched a vicious attack on the Democratic front-runner, Joe Biden over his working with segregationist.  However, she and the Democrats conveniently omit the fact that he was working with fellow Democrats in doing so.  That is not an inconsequential fact but one they avoid like the plague and assume, rightly, that their followers won’t know the difference.  Low information voters or lazy voters who do not take the time to research true American history and facts buy the spin.

The two Senators Biden is accused of working closely with are James Eastland and Herman Talmadge.  They hailed from Mississippi and Georgia and both were devoted segregationists, and both were Democrats.  The Democrats were the party of slavery, a fact that is unavoidable in history.  The revisionists want to simply make them conservatives, not Democrats and spin the spin so that people forget who the Party of the KKK and Slavery really was.  They want to forget the Party of Jim Crow Laws.  Hey, they claim, “We have evolved and are the true party of the people.”  That would be palatable were it not for certain pertinent facts.

The Democrats did move on from their support of slavery but moved to segregation and Jim Crow laws.  They would no longer support the physical ownership of slaves but would keep them, as they voiced, “in their place” through segregation, isolation, and Jim Crow laws.  That is only marginally different from slavery and reveals that they embraced emancipation as a law but not in their hearts or minds.  That change may have been politically beneficial but societally it was still destructive and repressive.

Even Democrat historians, such as Gary Wills, have acknowledged that the Democratic Party was built “on the slave power’s deep roots.”  His research and others reveal that the Democratic Party, from the outset, was deeply rooted in the culture of race.  Today, the Democrats have found that playing the “race card” is an effective tool in dividing peoples and garnering support from minorities and activist. 

The Thirteenth Amendment was passed without the support of Democrats.  That ended slavery and 50 of the 64 Democrats in the House of Representatives opposed the measure.  In the Senate, the Republicans were unanimous in support and only 2 Democrats voted for it.  Which party is the party of slavery and Jim Crow?  Well, facts indicate that it is the Democrats, not the Republicans, historically.  But again, that is an inconvenient truth and fact that the Left chooses to ignore, deny, and attempt to spin in their favor. 

The Jim Crow Laws advanced by the Democrats created segregation.  The Jim Crow Laws did everything from segregating schools to public accommodations and restricted the voting rights of blacks in America.  Again, who is the party of slavery and Jim Crow Laws?  Not the Republicans but the voting record indicate it was the Democrats.  They were attempting to get around the Republican-backed 14^th and 15^th Amendments.  The 14^th Amendment gave the ex-slaves due process and the 15^th Amendment gave them the right to vote.  Wow!  What an inconvenient truth that the Left would oppose those Amendments.  Yet, 90% of blacks vote Democrat.  That is beyond reasonable comprehension.

Today the modus operandi of the Left is to “divide and conquer.”  It is “spew hate and fan the flames of distrust.”  It has evolved into “identity politics” and someone said, Identity Politics is the son of segregation and the grandson of slavery.  What a railing indictment on the Party that has through actions such as those of Lyndon Johnson in the 1964 Civil Rights act, secured block voting by blacks across America.  Thankfully there are some that are waking up and leaving the Democratic Plantation.  Sorry for that comparison but it is accurate.

Senator Kamala Harris insists that “identity politics” is the tool or weapon needed to “diminish issues of race, gender, and sexual orientation.”  No, Senator, it is doing exactly the opposite and you know it or should.  It is creating a greater divide not providing a healing balm.  I find Senator Harris’ view shockingly akin to that of George Wallace the Democratic Governor of Alabama. He believed that it was wrong to diminish the race issue and that Americans should be judged by the color of their skin. 

That is diametrically opposite of the expressed view of the 1960s civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  He famously said, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”  I want that too for all Americans!  I suggest that Kamala Harris’ view is nothing short of re-segregation and dangerous for America.  She is pushing the views of Barack Obama to the limit and moving us to the brink of a terrible civil upheaval that will mean blood in the streets.  No Freedom loving American should want that or be willing to allow that view to advance. 

In life, sometimes the more things change the more they stay the same and the Democratic Party of today, the Liberal Leftist Socialist are advancing agendas that virtually enslave people.  The entitlement trap is a form of slavery.  Those hooked to the sugar-tit of entitlement dare not bit the hand that feeds them, or they will endanger their fix and source of livelihood.  A livelihood that they receive for sitting on their behinds, having babies out of wedlock and not working.  No, I am not laying all that at the door of the blacks for there are whites, Hispanics, and other ethnicities learning how to scam the system and receive the monthly dole from the government as the Democrats buy more and more votes.

I want America back!  I want the American principles and precepts of our Founding and want to return to moral sanity. I want the propitious smiles of heaven on this nation as before.  I want the America that is the “Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave where everyone has the inalienable right for Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.”  If you want that, then join me and the millions like me in defeating the liberal left in November 2020.

Yes, I am responding to the plethora of diatribe that after more mass shootings using any kind of firearm, but especially semi-automatic rifles we must advance new legislation to curb or control gun ownership even more.  That rhetoric and diatribe are not just ‘missing the mark’ it is setting up and shooting at the wrong target.

I have shouted this until I’m blue in the face, the problem is not the firearm it is the human heart!  No law, and we have thousands of them, will curb the problem found in the human heart that produces this kind of evil.  The rhetoric is well-meaning lament from some in the masses of society who do not truly understand the problem and believe their ideological heroes in politics.  But, for the politicians, it is nothing short of sleazy and cheap opportunism that should be rejected and denounced immediately. 

I am not defending this or any shooter. I am not seeking to absolve them of ultimate blame.  Their hate, their becoming demonized, their deranged mindsets and decision to pursue their evil is beyond reprehensible and diabolical.  Their judgment will be severe in eternity and should be severe in this present world too.  However, to immediately blame white people or call this systemic white terrorism is dangerous.  I hate terrorism regardless of the religion, ethnicity, or ideology of the terrorist.  I want you to understand that as I engage in my discuss of this matter.

Before you attack me as unfeeling, uncaring, insensitive, a racist, a bigot, or some other derogatory name, let me offer my thoughts one more time.  I’ve done this before and will do it again. Every time we have a tragedy that results in demands to strip us of our inalienable right for self-defense and an attempt to usurp or revoke our constitutional rights and freedoms I will shout from the rooftop the error of that mindset. 

I truly believe that if the Left wins this argument and achieves more ‘gun control’ and ultimately ‘gun bans’ or ‘gun confiscation’ we will endure such tyrannical and despotic governmental control that none will be free any longer in America.  Charge me with oversimplification and overstating the issue if you please but let me continue.

Guns have been in America since, before, during, and after the Constitution was signed and ratified. They are not going away whether deemed legal or illegal.  Likewise, mass shootings have been experienced since the early dawning of the 20^th century.  This is not new and is not going away with legislation.  What laws have worked to curb gun violence to date?  Consider the many super-restrictive cities and states in America where guns are virtually outlawed and only the outlaws have access to guns, has that reduced the violence?  Chicago is a prime example and the violence continues to grow there although their gun laws are incredibly stringent. 

I agree that mass shootings appear to be on the increase. I agree that we need to find answers to the problem.  But when we focus on the wrong target we achieve no resolution. If we are honest and examine the statistical data we discover that the passage of another ‘gun law’ has not, does not and will not curb the problem.

At that point people grow increasingly more frustrated. When that transpires the politicians who want ‘gun bans’ seize on the opportunity to pass yet another ‘gun law’ and restrict our 2^nd Amendment Rights even further. They claim that we haven’t done enough, and another more restrictive law is the cure. Hundreds of thousands if not millions swallow that pill and drink that Kool-Aid only to become even more frustrated.  The design is to eventually have a populace so distraught over the problem we agree to give up our guns.

The result of that, were it to become a realized condition, would be Total Control by Government but with no real resolution of the problem.  Tragically, at that juncture, it would be too late to go back to where we enjoyed our 2^nd Amendment Rights to “keep and bear arms.” 

We would be virtually unable to mount a resistance strong enough to become a revolution, like that of 1776 and we would be buried in government regulations and controls that would expand to every facet of life.  After all, the politicians would argue that if gun bans did not solve the problem the government must expand their control to resolve the problem that is an issue of the heart.  The human heart and mind are not something the government or politicians can fix with legislation. 

Sometimes, if not most of the time, these shooters are young adults who had a horrific childhood with atrocious parents or the absence of a godly and normal father in the home.  Frequently, there is some type of drug use or abuse in the equation.  I don’t know if it is too much involvement with video games, the disconnect with people and society, the Internet, the Media, Hollywood’s diatribe or the pursuit of ‘fundamental transformation’ of America that is the major culprit.  Many of these shooters have a long history of seething hate burning deep inside their souls.  I don’t know if it is a craze to achieve notoriety and a sense of immortality.

The manifesto reportedly written by the El Paso, Texas shooter is a mixture of Nazi lebensraum green think and rage against Mexicans.  Experts inform us that copycats within ten days to two-weeks of a mass shooting are common.  With the flood of media coverage and many experts have declared that the El Paso and Dayton shooters fit that description to a tee and were copycats.  Where they?  I don’t know.

What I know, in my heart of hearts is this is a ‘human heart’ and a ‘human mind’ problem and we will never fix that with legislation. Giving up our inalienable and constitutional rights is a bad plan.  Blaming this on Donald Trump is beyond lunacy and is nothing more than political opportunism. If we want to blame people, we dare not excuse the diatribe and brainwashing in our schools, the media, and coming out of Hollywood. In the end it is a choice and that choice is prompted by the condition of the heart and mind.  

How do we fix this problem?  My prescription will not be well received by some, but others will find that it resonates deeply with them.  Hopefully, those with whom it resonates will join me in pursuit of the remedy and resist the temptation to overreact and shoot at the wrong target. 

What is my remedy?  GOD!  We have allowed politicians to do great damage to the traditional family makeup and offer alternatives lifestyles as normal, healthy, wholesome, and acceptable.  We have allowed the development of a mentality of entitlement and engendered a snowflake, safe-space world of political correctness.  We must return to holding people accountable for their actions.  We must stop rewarding bad behavior.  We must cease making it more lucrative to have single-parent homes than homes with a father and a mother. 

My heart breaks for the victims and in some measure for the deranged and often demonized individuals who commit these acts. No, I do not offer them sympathy for they deserve whatever just punishment meted out to them for their crimes. I do weep for the perpetrators because I know the eternal horror they will endure and wish that somebody could have reached them. They crossed the line that no new gun law will repair or reverse.  We can continue to blame the wrong thing and move further and further from any viable solution or we can acknowledge that it is not the inanimate object (firearm) that is causing this problem, it is people, the sick human heart, and the sick human mind. 

Some will appreciate what I’ve said, and some will brand me as one who is lower than a snake’s belly and unworthy of breathing the air required to live on planet earth.  I only hope that you realize that until we deal with the heart, we will never see a diminishing of this problem.  I weep for my nation and those impacted by this kind of tragedy.  I stand for Faith, Family, and Freedom!

No, I am not doing a take-off on the Left calling him the “Orange Man.” I am using an old saying to open the door for a discussion on the double-standard of today’s PC World, the Media, and the Democrats.  I’ve used the term “toxic liberalism” to describe the modern Democrats, at least the national party and agenda.  I’ve heard people suggest that the Democrats have officially become the Party of Derangement.  Is that accurate?  In many ways, I believe it is, but you will have to make that determination for yourself. 

With the 2020 presidential campaign in full swing and the position, condition, and positioning of the Democratic hopefuls it is a very interesting situation. It is going to be a wild ride and hopefully, enough Americans will wake up and realize the danger to prevent them from reclaiming the White House, gaining strength in the House and retaking the Senate.  If that does not happen, and they succeed I shudder to think of what will happen to the Republic.  Yes, you can call me an alarmist if you please, but I believe it is that dire and dangerous.

When I turn back the clock almost two decades I remember that horrible day when 3,000 Americans needlessly lost their lives in the attack on the World Trade Center in Manhattan.  You can blame whomever you please, but I believe it was an attack by an Islamic terrorist.  You may be a truther and believe that our own government committed the treachery.  If you do, please post it on your own wall and not on mine. If I believed that I would immediately demand that we overthrow the existing government and have a new revolution.  I am not calling for that, do not want that, and do not believe that, even as evil as our government can be, I cannot embrace that theory. 

Seven years after that event America, misguidedly elected Barack Hussein Obama as president.  He immediately began the push to fulfill his dream of ‘fundamentally transforming America.’  He began dividing the nation like no other president in modern times.  He was a community organizer with no executive experience, ill-qualified for the job and managed to deceive millions of Americans.  Some very good people and well-meaning people voted for him only to wake up during his first term and lament their decision. 

He systematically and intentionally advanced acrimonious narratives claiming that many of us on the other side were “bitter clingers, clinging to our guns and religion.”  Hillary pushed that to a new level calling us “deplorables.”  Obama was quick to jump to a conclusion that the black man was innocent, and the police were guilty.  He even suggested that his supporters “bring a gun to a knife fight.” 

Joe Biden has taken off on that and suggested a “brass knuckles fight with the Republicans.”  That was deemed laudable and commendable by the media.  Obama was seen as a fighter, fighting for liberalism and their agenda.  However, if Donald Trump says anything remotely similar he is an evil despotic tyrant that must be eradicated from the earth.  How is that for a double-standard.  Apples and Oranges, you may say, but I say rotten eggs and hard boiled eggs would be closer. 

Obama embraced Islam and insisted that it was and is a religion of peace. His Attorney General Loretta Lynch threatened to prosecute anyone speaking evil of Islam.  That sounds a lot like Sharia Law to me, but then I am one of the “bitter clingers and deplorables” so what could I possibly know?  Obama pitted blacks against whites and poor against rich damaging and setting back relations in many sectors decades.  Was it by design?  I think yes but it could have been his zeal for Islam, fundamental transformation, and socialism that clouded his judgment.  You decide.

Today Obama’s legacy is a generation of Democrats who openly seek and embrace totalitarian socialism.  His legacy is a generation of Democrats who want a gender-neutral world, a utopia of safe spaces, censorship in violation of the 1^st Amendment and the elimination of the 2^nd Amendment. 

We have a generation of Democrats who want open borders, and a desire to soak the rich not realizing that that soaking will trickle down to us all.  We have a generation of Democrats who have totally abandoned the traditional values that made our nation great and the principles of our founding.  The traditional family has been replaced with unwed cohabitation, homosexual marriages, and enough genders that require a catalog to identify.  We live in a world that has zero common sense.  We live in a world where our educational system is producing graduates who have no clue of real American or world history.  Thus, we have the Ocasio-Cortez’s of today.

Today’s modern Democratic Party embraces open borders and views the illegals as citizens of the world and believe they have the right to vote in whatever country they find themselves.  They have abandoned the idea of working for a living and making your own way in life facing the obstacles, difficulties, and pitfalls.  Rather, they opt for the government to make the field level and guarantee them a job, a salary, a house, a car, a cellphone, healthcare, education, and much more. 

I believe that if the Democrats win in 2020 we can wave goodbye to the Republic as we know it and our Republican Democracy will be no more.  College campuses have already been transformed into socialist, liberal, safe spaces where conservativism, constitutionalism, and Christianity are as welcome as the bubonic plague.  The rank-n-file may be voting for their agenda completely unaware of the endgame but the endgame exists nonetheless.  There is disaster lurking and I pray that you will open your eyes, your ears, and your minds and recognize the warning signs.  The handwriting is on the wall and those of us sounding the alarm are often being treated as unwelcome guests and the little boy crying wolf. 

What has Trump done that is half as destructive as the eight-years of Obama? Our economy is robust, our international relations better, our enemies once again fear us and our friends respect us. Our constitutional rights are being fought for. ISIS is being seriously fought. Our border crisis is being addressed and the exorbitant taxation and regulations of the previous administration rolled-back. I am thankful that Trump not Hillary is in the White House. He is a flawed vessel, but we are all but he is far better for America than any of the Democrat hopefuls.

Ignore my warning if you choose.  I won’t say, “I told you so if they win.”  The reason I won’t is because I will be fighting to survive and will leave you to your own devices.  If we make a bed, we also have to lie in it.  I pray that we do not have to endure that after the 2020 elections.

I am unable to wrap my head around the new wave of “Democratic Socialism” that is being advanced by the Democrats and its appeal to millions.  Outside of greed and envy, I am not sure I have an answer.  Outside, covetousness and the prevailing entitlement mentality, I don’t know that there is an answer.  Outside, a total lack of genuine information, ignoring the facts and believing the fabrications presented, I don’t know that it can be explained. 

Virtually all the Democrat hopefuls auditioning for their party’s nomination have a platform that would bury America in more and more debt and cripple our economy.  Each of them is an advocate for open borders, free healthcare, gender nullification, abortion on demand, and an escalation of taxes on everyone.  No, they don’t all admit that their plans are beyond costly and that the tax rates for everyone would skyrocket, but facts are stubborn things.

They want a ‘wealth tax’ which is a penalty for doing well financially.  How is that an American value?  They want ‘Medicare-for-all’ which would destroy all private insurance, cripple the healthcare system, overburden many aspects of it and result in delayed and denied care.  Nothing is free therefore, someone will have to pay the tab for their proposals.  Who will that be?  Alas, it will be you and me, or those of us who actually pay taxes and work or have recently retired.  It will be deemed, our ‘fair share’ and when that share is insufficient they will raise the bar and our ‘fair share’ will be a much bigger piece of the pie.  There is no end to the appetite for confiscation.

I agree with Mark Levin that the diatribe, rhetoric, spin, and platforms presented by the Left mirror the Soviet Union’s 1936 Constitution shockingly.  Article 118: Citizens of the U.S.S.R. have the right to work, that is, are guaranteed the right to employment and payment for their work in accordance with its quantity and quality.  Article 119: Citizens of the U.S.S.R. have the right to rest and leisure… the institution of annual vacations with full pay for workers and employees and the provision of a wide network of sanatoria, rest homes, and clubs for the accommodation of the working people.  Two candidates come to mind immediately when I read those Soviet articles in that constitution.  They are Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.

It would seem to me that the Democrats are not embracing the American Dream but the Soviet Dream.  How is that an American value?  The slate of candidates for the Democratic nomination all want to make America a Sanctuary City.  Kamala Harris and she was a key player in California’s Sanctuary City and Sanctuary State implementation.  Now she wants to do the same for America.  Thanks, but no thanks, Senator.  Please go back to California and continue your destruction there, if the people will allow it, but America does not need your devastation.

All the candidates appear to want to transform our current laws that makes entering America illegally a felony and transform it into a misdemeanor punishable by a slap on the wrist.  They all want to provide free healthcare and other entitlements to the illegals.  Doesn’t that encourage rather than discourage people from coming here illegally?  Senator Harris somehow equated the illegals in Sanctuary Cities with rape victims and made them the victim not the violators of the law.  Amazing!  But that is the Lunacy that exists today and how anyone can drink that Kool-Aid is beyond my ability to cognate.

If you do a bit of digging, you will find one of the most alarming and glaring examples of why Sanctuary Cities are a bad idea.  Jose Ines Garcia Zarate served time for a seventh felony drug conviction. The feds sent him to San Francisco on a 20-year-old marijuana charge.  The prosecutor refused to prosecute, and he walked free, found a gun and killed Kate Steinle in 2015.  How is that protecting and defending America, Americans or represents an American value?

Barack Obama’s administration issued the decree that they were only going to pursue the illegals, which they called undocumented immigrants, who were “violent offenders and people convicted of crimes.”  Of course, ‘catch and release’ never caught and released far too many offenders.  What country passes laws to protect career criminals and repeat offenders from prosecution and/or being deported?  Try that anywhere in the world and you will find that it is “Only in America.”

Kamala Harris lamented the Obama use of Secure Communities saying, “the policy was to allow deportation of people who by ICE’s own definition were non-criminals.”  Excuse me Senator but entering the United States is a felony and therefore a crime, making the individual a criminal.  But, she and the other Democrats want to change the law and make it a wrist-slap misdemeanor to break our laws and trespass on our sovereign soil. 

If the Democrats are successful in making illegal immigration a misdemeanor do you honestly believe that will reduce the number of illegals coming to America?  If you do I have some ocean front property in the Arizona desert, I’d like to offer you cheap. 

I saw a list of questions the Democrats should have been and should be asked in this campaign cycle.  Let me offer two or three of them for your arsenal.  Question One: “Some of you have, or had, the power to change many of the things you now say are wrong with America.  Why didn’t you?”  Question Two for Joe Biden: “You and President Obama, for a time, had a Democratic majority in Congress.  Why didn’t you reform immigration laws and address the homeless?”  Question Three: “Is there anything President Trump has done that you could or would praise?  You talk as if unemployment has not declined, especially for minorities, and wages haven’t risen.  Unemployment is at, or near, record lows and wages are up.  What do you say to that?”  Question Four: “Many of you have a lot of complaints and criticisms about the United States.  Is there anything positive you could say about America?”

I continue to be astounded by the willingness of people to allow their enmity toward the current president to drive them to embracing policies they must know will hurt everyone in the long run.  Is personal preference that powerful and important that the destruction of the Republic becomes acceptable?  You may find that offensive and challenge me vehemently but if the Democrats reclaim power, it is Katie-Bar-The-Door for America and Americans.  Your personal property, individual inalienable rights, and freedom will be hanging in the balance.  If you think that is an acceptable price to pay to defeat Trump, then we are universes apart in our thinking and probably should not talk to each other.

I am 100% serious in my question.  Have the tentacles of the Swamp Denizens and the infestation become so pervasive and extensive that it has become impossible to Drain the Swamp?  I would love to say, NO.  However, with each new revelation of the extent of the corruption of politics and politicians, the Intelligence Community, and the many bureaucracies of this nation, I am having serious doubts. 

I wonder what Jefferson, Franklin, Adams, Hamilton, Washington and the patriots of the 18^th Century would say about the ubiquitousness of the Swamp.  No, I think I know, based on history and their writings.  I believe they would be calling for the same thing they called for in 1776 Unless the voting public somehow becomes enlightened as to the seriousness of the problem and sends the lot of them packing.  We are not going to send them packing but we need to.

I am not an advocate of overthrowing the government, I do not see a positive outcome of that endeavor.  The extent of the fractures and factions in of our society would make it virtually impossible for us to rally around a singular purpose and pursue a government with the ideal advanced by our founders.  We would never achieve limited government because some would want the upper hand in the conquest.  We would never achieve true Freedom because Freedom to some is Slavery to others.  Therefore, I ask the question, “Is the D.C. Swamp Undrainable?” 

I know that my doubts can possibly cause despair in hearts causing some to give up and cease trying.  I pray that is not the case, but that the reverse will be true. I pray that the doubts I am raising will cause each of us to reexamine the conditions now existing in our government and finally determine to reclaim our government.  It is my desire that we become engaged and committed to the task of dispossessing the possessors of power in D.C. and restore the oversight of government to ‘we the people.’ 

Will that happen?  Our most recent history, up to 2016 suggests no.  The defeat of the Democrats in 2016 gives me a modicum of hope, but that is just a speck, not a meteor.  However, it is a speck that I cling to and my love for America demands I stay in the fight.

We had, during James Comey’s tenure in the FBI in 2016, information regarding the illegalities of Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State.  Comey summarily dismissed those concerns insisting that “there was no intent to do harm.”  I wonder how many people in prison would like to have heard those words and now feel violated? 

We have continued uncovering more revelations via exposed and released emails that show the criminality and damage done to America was more expansive and extensive than previously thought.  Yet, there is no real effort, that I see, to make her accountable.  I see no genuine effort to hold the Obama administration accountable for the illegal spying during his waning years in office.  That makes me doubt the draining of the Swamp because the Swamp Denizens are, for the most part, conducting the investigations.

Now we have what is being called a ‘third scope memo’ signed by then-Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in October 2017.  That memo is damning and should receive immediate action to bring all the Coup participants and Swam Denizens involved to the bar and hold them accountable.  Will that happen?  Probably when we have green cheese from the moon on the shelves in our supermarkets.  Possibly when pigs begin to fly, and unicorns are grazing in herds across America. 

Rosenstein’s first memo, his letter to appoint Robert Mueller as the Special Counsel outlined the mission.  Mueller was authorized to investigate the following:  i) any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; [and] iii) any other matters within the scope of [obstruction of justice laws].

The second memo that was released was heavily redacted.  That memo was issued during the Manafort trial in April 2018.  The redacted version authorized Mueller to “investigate Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and related matters.”  The latter part of that was somewhat of a blank check.  This second memo authorized Mueller to investigate “four sets of allegations” against Michael Flynn. It authorized Mueller to investigate whether Papadopoulous, a Trump aide was an agent for Israel.  What? 

Representative Devin Nunes (R-CA) recently reported seeing an unredacted copy of this memo.  He cannot legally disclose details but said, “I was finally able to see the scope memo…”  He went on to assert that what he saw revealed the likelihood of the FISA Warrants being issued base largely on the Steele dossier.  That is troubling to say the least and demands accountability. 

The third scope memo is still held in secrecy.  However, we know that Mueller included a brief description in his report and revealed that Rod Rosenstein ‘reauthorized’ him to investigate Michael Cohen, Richard Gates, and Roger Stone, as part of the full and thorough investigation of the Russian government’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 election.  Other names included were redacted, so we don’t know the full extent of this net they were casting trying to find something to hang their hats on and damage Trump and the Republicans. 

All the memos and the extent of the investigations seem to indicate that Rosenstein who was supposedly overseeing the matter was submitting to whatever the Mueller Team wanted.  That would mean that the Investigator and Investigation Team were not truly accountable to a higher authority but was the higher authority.  Rosenstein’s reasons for appointing Mueller was likely an attempt to save face with the rabid Leftists who were furious over his involvement in the firing of James Comey. 

Let me remind you that in May 2017 Rosenstein wrote the memo outlining the case for firing James Comey. That would make him a potential witness in the obstruction case against Trump, but nobody seemed to care.  Rosenstein was on the prosecution team that fully exonerated Hillary Clinton in the Whitewater scandal.  His wife represented Clinton in a 1998-99 civil case in federal court. Conflict of interest, but the Swamp didn’t care.  He gave Mueller ‘free reign’ in the investigation against Trump.  Why?  They don’t do that in other cases.  He signed off on the raid on the office of Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen.  He was tainted, Mueller was tainted, Comey was tainted, and the Swamp was rejoicing. 

God help us if we don’t wake up and realize that the D.C. Swamp has spread to all parts of our government and its influence is being felt in every state in the nation.  We must reclaim our government and drain the swamp as much as possible.  I do not believe we can do any of that if the Democrats win in 2020.  You may disagree and that is your right, but I ask you to pray about the situation, examine all the facts, and use our heads for something other than a hat rack.
