BLOG POST 4 - Good Old Days

I do not want to lose our technological and modern mode of transportation and return to the early 20th or late 19th centuries.  I do not want to lose the medical advances and equipment which is, in many ways, affording people the opportunity to live longer and even more productive lives.  However, I do want to return to the view of the Constitution being the Law of the Land and reverse the moral drift we have been embarking on for several decades, if not longer.  I do want to return to an attitude and condition where our inalienable rights were considered inviolable and politicians did not feel at liberty to trample on those rights for their ideological, personal, or political gain.  I want to return to a time when the core subjects are taught in our schools rather than the indoctrination of leftist, socialist, progressive ideologies seeking to brainwash our youth making them good soldiers of the Liberal Leftist Agenda and bury them in political correctness.  There are things from bygone eras that I would like very much to reacquire and things from this era that I want to keep.  Can I have my cake and eat it too?  Not according to the purveyors of toxic liberalism that are the most vocal today.  Constitutional rights, to them, it would seem, means bowing at the altar of liberalism and embracing the ‘fundamental transformation’ dating back to the Fabian Socialist and the new-era liberalism of Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, etc.

I grew up in the 50’s and 60’s, or that’s when I attended public school, and I do not recall a time when there was a demand or a need to hire armed guards to police the hallways and campuses of our schools.  I do not recall any incidents where a student was gunned down on campus.  I remember having my behind paddled when I acted up or crossed the line of discipline and decorum demanded both by my parents and the schools I attended.  I believe that ‘respect’ is earned as individuals.  However, there is also a place to demand ‘respect’ and/or ‘obedience’ to the rules. That includes parents, teachers, and officers of the law.  Today, children are allowed to sass, and openly rebel with no consequences.  Yes, there are consequences because every action demands and receives an equal and opposite reaction.  The Laws of Harvest or Sowing and Reaping are in play in every aspect and dimension of life.  Somewhere, somehow, and someway our decisions have consequences.  The Law of Sowing and Reaping or Harvest includes the truth that what you sow you reap, you reap more than you sow, and you reap later than you sow.  We are sowing, a crop of chaos today in our American society and via the channel of the toxicity of liberalism.  The harvest is going to be ugly and the cost higher than anyone anticipates.

In the Days of Yesterday or the “Good Ole Days” as they are often called is relative depending on your age and memory.  But, for those of us who are 65 years of age or older we know many of the differences of our “Good Ole Days” and the present time and long for the return of many of those principles and practices.  If we are to buy the spin of the Liberals and Gun Grabbers we must conclude that the change between then and now is the GUN.  Guns have supposedly somehow morphed into a misbehaving object and gone rogue in their behavior.  Therefore, we must deal with the GUN because surely the GUN is the problem in today’s world, not the person using, controlling, pointing, and firing that inanimate object.   What will be next, the washing machine, the automobile, the telephone, the computer, the lawn mower, WHAT?  If inanimate objects that require a human being to operate them can become the problem and go, rogue, we are living in a very dangerous world and soon the MACHINES or GUNS or SOMETHING will take over and annihilate human life on the planet.  Yes, I am being facetious but that argument deserves facetiousness and ridicule.

The change that makes our schools unsafe and many of our cities a war zone is PEOPLE.  The argument of the Climate Change Advocates that MAN is the problem is correct, not as they argue, but regarding safety in our society.  The human heart is the issue, not the weapon of choice or instrument of destruction.  If you are old enough to remember you will realize that GUNS were easier to obtain back then than they are now and yet we did not have the catastrophic calamities we have in the mass shootings, at least not to the level of today.  If it was the availability of GUNS should we not have had more not less of those incidents back then?  That would be using too much reason and logic for the Leftist!

Human behavior is a major culprit in the conditions of today’s mayhem.  When I was in school it was an incredibly rare event for a teacher to be assaulted or even threatened but today it is the norm.  Reports indicate that in Baltimore, Maryland there is an average of four (4) teachers and staff members assaulted every day.  I suspect that is a low number since those statistics were from 2010.  We are told that over 300 school staff members filed workers’ compensation claims in a year because of assaults or altercations incurring on the job.  In Philadelphia, in that same year there were 690 teachers assaulted and in a five-year period, that number soared to over 4,000.  It is reported that on an average day over 25 students, teachers, or staff members were beaten, robbed, sexually assaulted, or victims of other violent crimes.  That does not include the bullying, extortions, and threats that surface daily.  We are living in a troubled time and it is not the GUN that is causing the problem or the availability of the GUN.  It is PEOPLE!  It is the lack of DISCIPLINE and the enforcement of the rules that is creating the problem. It is the fact that in far too many homes disorder is not only allowed it is often encouraged.

Did you know that up until the 1960’s that New York Public high schools had high school shooting clubs?  Students were taught the proper and safe use of firearms.  Students carried guns on subways and turned them over to the homeroom teacher or gym teacher and they kept them stored until they were to be used for the shooting clubs.  In Virginia students often went hunting on their way to school and brought guns with them.  I know in my school in East Texas it was not unusual to see a rifle on a gun rack in a pickup truck parked outside the school.  None of us feared getting shot.   What changed?  I guess the GUNS developed a mind of their own and suddenly became violent.  NO?  Well, what could it possibly be then?  What changed?  PEOPLE DID!  If we don’t return to a time and position in our society where DISCIPLINE is once again administered in the home, at early ages, and in schools, we are going to continue to grow even darker in our society and more dangerous.

If we allow the purveyors of ideological toxicity prevail in November we will facilitate the further erosion of our society and create a dangerous and dark world.  It is time for parents to discipline, schools to discipline, and churches to teach Biblical values and principles again.  It is time that we acknowledge the real problem rather than blaming the convenient object that is only dangerous in the hands of the deranged or evil person.  IT IS PEOPLE, not GUNS that we should be concerned about.  Let’s stop the rhetoric and illogical diatribe and focus on God, Morality, and Human Decency.

WHEN I HEAR THE NATIONAL ANTHEM – I Weep with Gratefulness…


BLOG POST 3 - wHEN i sEE THE fLAG

Yes, I am patriotic to a fault, if that can be called a fault.  I am Pro-America, Pro-Constitutionalism, Pro-Life, and Pro-God, so if any of that is so offensive you are repulsed I suggest you read no further.  You can hurl insults at me if you choose and I will do my best to remain civil and defend your right to believe what you believe and express yourself.  I will do so, providing you refrain from making it a personal attack on me or any others commenting.  If you engage in vulgarity and use vitriolic hateful language then I will not be tolerant.

Now, before I lose all possible readership let me address my deep gratitude to God and those who have served in the U.S. Military throughout our storied history as a nation.  July 4th of each year we celebrate our American Independence and should be profoundly grateful for the sacrifices, service, and success of those men and women who fought for independence and hammered out the foundation for a Republic that would allow people to LIVE FREE!  Each time I hear the national anthem and see the American flag my heart beats a little faster as I call to remembrance what is being represented.  Without the vision, foresight, fortitude, and daring of those valiant patriots in 1776, we would not be enjoying the Freedom and Liberty we have today.

When I hear the anthem and see the Flag, I am reminded of those valiant warriors in World War I and II who placed their lives on the line to stop imperialism and tyranny preserving not only America but much of the world’s liberty and freedom.  Were it not for the love of country and liberty exhibited by those who fought against the Communism of Nazi Germany and the tyrannical Imperialism of Japan a very different flag would be likely be waving over our Capitol, schools, and public buildings.  No one would not be able to “resist” and “protest” as is being witnessed today.  We would not be able to live where we choose, drive what we can afford, and work in the vocations of our desire.  We would be puppets and pawns of the State and subjects of some despotic tyrant or emperor.  You can accuse me of being overly dramatic if you please but what I’ve portrayed is an unavoidable reality were it not for our Fighting Forces and American Spirit of Exceptionalism that prevailed in an undeterred commitment to Fight to the Finish and Win the Victory!

When I think of the many who have fought and served since the mid-1940’s after World War II ended my eyes become wet with tears.  I am grateful for their willingness to step into harm’s way for America and Freedom in the world.  I am a Vietnam Veteran, and my fellow vets were not given parades, not that we asked for them.  We were often called vicious and insulting names and treated worse than one would treat a rabid dog.  I am grateful that I did not experience the vilification that many of my brothers in arms experienced and my family and friends were supportive and encouraging.  After about a year and a half home I received Jesus Christ as my personal savior and that totally transformed my life.  I entered the ministry and went to Bible College and began a life of service in the role of pastor, evangelist, teacher, and other capacities.  However, I remained and remain 100% Committed to the Cause of Freedom and Liberty and each time I hear the national anthem and see the American flag tears come to my eyes, I choke up a bit and reflect on what those symbols stand for.

Those who feel the urge to burn the flag should realize that they would not have the freedom to engage in that act were it not for those patriots in 1776, WW I & II, and all the other wars and conflicts we have engaged.  If it were not for the Free Constitutional Republic that our Founders and Framers established they would find that to do what they do in protests and Anti-American acts would likely land them in a concentration camp, or before a firing squad.  In America, we have tolerated collaborators who in their protest trashed America on foreign soil.  In my view, that is treason and deserving of the just reward for that act of treachery but they have frequently been rewarded with fame and fortune and elevated to high places.

I am an American.  I was born here of parents who were both American citizens and they were children of American citizens dating back to pre-revolutionary war days.  One of the founders, Benjamin Rush, is a very distant cousin and I share much of the sentiment he expressed regarding both God and country.  In the America that  I grew up, there was a recognizable display of national and self-interest.  There was a sense of being our “brother’s keeper” and “neighbors” in the biblical sense.  We did not lock our doors and when a neighbor needed help we offered our assistance.  We wanted and believed that the best government was a government that kept out of the way and allowed us to produce the goods and services needed for the community and nation.  We believed that a man’s home was truly his castle and that what a man possessed was his to do with as he pleased.  We believed that it was honorable to honor those who served in the military, respect our elders, and pay our own way.  Many, in that time, did not see themselves as Democrats or Republicans but Americans and from time to time would switch parties in a vote or split their ticket depending on the candidates involved.  They voted for people based on those individuals expressed and demonstrated a commitment to a particular need or agenda.  They sometimes felt betrayed by politicians but not because the politicians did not drive the gravy train by their house, but because they created a gravy train in the first place.  Few, if any, wanted a handout from the government only an opportunity to pursue their dreams.

Anyone in America can succeed if they are willing to take the risk, make the commitment, invest themselves, their time and resources, and persist.  PERSEVERANCE is the key more often than being lucky and having something given to you.  From the beginning of colonial America through the Revolutionary War, World War’s I & II, and to the common era, America is the Land of Opportunity.  OPPORTUNITY sometimes knocks and those inside either are not listening or they are too self-absorbed to open the door.  If you have $100 MILLION and I have $1 DOLLAR I deserve nothing of yours and you deserve nothing of mine.  It is my view that if anyone is too lazy to work and chooses to sit on their duff thinking they are entitled to what I have labored for, they should be awarded the biblical mandate given by the apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 – “…if anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.”  No, I do not believe my Christianity is tainted by that position.  If we truly care about people we will not facilitate their laziness or hatred.  We are all “human beings”, part of the “human race” and our ancestry, each of us, dates back to Adam and Eve in the Garden.

I LOVE AMERICA and say that without reservation or hesitation.  I make no apologies for my patriotism.  Any party, politician, or person who takes a position that trashes this great nation and seeks to ‘fundamentally transform’ this Republic into anything other than what our Founders and Framers established earn my distrust and disdain.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for   which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

INDEPENDENCE and FREEDOM…


BLOG POST 2 - Independence and Freedom

July 4th – Independence Day America!  The Fourth of July also known as Independence Day has been a federal holiday since 1941.  The tradition of public celebration dates back to the American Revolution.  On July 2nd, 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of Independence, and two days later delegates from 13 colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence.  President Franklin Delano Roosevelt said of December 7th, 1941 that it was a ‘Day that would live in infamy’ and I contend that July 4th, 1776 is also a Day that lives perpetually or should in the hearts of all Americans.  There were battles that broke out before that date dating back to April 1775 over one year earlier.  The foundation for War was being etched in stone and in the hearts of many in the colonies.  The pamphlet “Common Sense” published by Thomas Paine in early 1776 was a significant factor in the education of the public of the situation and articulated the reasons for demanding Independence.  It was not until June 7th, when the Continental Congress met at the Pennsylvania State House (Independence Hall) in Philadelphia when Virginia delegate Richard Henry Lee introduced a motion calling for the colonies’ independence.  The ball was now rolling and the eventual prize of Liberty and Freedom was won years later.  But, July 4th, 1776 is a Key Date in our American History and one that far too few know anything about today.  John Adams believed that July 2nd was the correct date to celebrate the birth of America and turned down invitations to appear at July 4th events.  It is interesting that both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died on July 4th, 1826.

There were patriotic celebrations after the War and it became an even more popular tradition after the War of 1812 when the United States once again faced Great Britain.  In 1870, the United States Congress made July 4th a federal holiday but it was not until 1941 that the provision was expanded to make it a PAID HOLIDAY for all federal employees.  The most common symbol of our Independence is the American Flag accompanied by the playing of singing of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”  That today is being tarnished with the disrespect to the flag and the sacrifices made by patriots and heroes of bygone eras as well as today’s heroes in combat.  I salute all who have served and are serving.  I salute all the first responders and law enforcement members.  I salute every American Patriot who loves America enough to give his or her life for Faith, Family, and Freedom as embodied in America!

On this day we celebrate our American Independence.  As we do, I hope that we do more than have the obligatory cookout, trip to the lake, picnic, or relaxing day off work.  I hope that we reflect on the incredible sacrifices made by the Revolutionary War Patriots and the amazing Gift of God in the Republic we know as the United States of America.  I realize that today many on the Left, the MSM, and Hollywood liberals do not see America in the grid of the Constitution and in harmony with the vision and desire of our Founding Fathers.  That makes me sad, but I face it as a reality.  They do not believe in the Original Intent of the Framers of the Constitution and often refer to that document as antiquated and outdated. Former President, Barack Obama called it a “Document of Negative Liberties” and lamented that it restricted the government too much and prevented him from doing what he wanted to do.  Although, he ignored it often, and declared that he was president and could do whatever he pleased.  He even said that if Congress failed to do his bidding he had a ‘pen and phone’ and would ‘go it alone.’  Those on the Left seem to believe that the Constitution is a living document that evolves with the changing whims of politicians and ideologies rather than being a concrete directive that gives perpetual guidance for a Free Society.  That makes me sad, but I accept it as a reality of the evolution of modern politics and the growth of Fabian Socialism and the toxicity of liberalism in America today.

As we reflect on July 4th, Independence Day, I am reminded of some interesting realities about the Original Patriots of this Great Nation.  In my studies, I found that it was Benjamin Franklin who first used the term “patriot” and used it regularly in the years before the American Revolution.  It appears that the term caught on and was embraced by the public and the military resulting in that distinction being given to the colonial soldiers who fought the British in the War for Independence.  Through the years I have come to realize that many seem to have a very romanticized view of the Revolutionary War.  I’ve heard those who are charged with teaching history contend that those fighting against the Loyalist or Tories were ideological soldier-farmers.  History does not support that assertion and historical facts reveal that General George Washington relied on poor laborers who were motivated to join the army because they were offered money and land for their service.  The record indicates that by 1778, half of those serving were not of English descent and the pay the soldiers were promised was often delayed or never arrived.  It was a massive struggle and that makes the success an even greater miracle and/or mystery.  To not see the hand of God and the providence of the Almighty in this victory is beyond my ability to comprehend.

As all conflicts that are rooted in politics and ideology, we discover that families were torn apart by the conflict and the differing ideological views.  One such example is Timothy Pickering, Jr., an adjutant general in General Washington’s Continental Army but his father remained a staunch Tory until his death.  Pickering entered the Revolutionary War as a Colonel in 1775 and after the War was appointed by President George Washington as ad interim Secretary of State on August 20, 1795, and elevated to the official position on December 10, 1795.  John Adams dismissed him on May 12, 1800.  When Pickering learned of his father’s imminent death, he wrote a letter to his father to thank him for his example, even when their opinions differed.  He said, “When I look back on past time, I regret our difference of sentiment in great as well as (sometimes) in little politics; as it was a deduction from the happiness otherwise to have been enjoyed.”  One of the many stories of how families were split over the decision to fight for independence and not all were as amicable as the Pickering situation.

One of the more light-hearted moments of the War came during or after the intense struggle in the Battle of Brandywine.  In 1777 where the Colonist were defeated by the British.  General Washington found a dog sniffing around the camp with tags indicating that it belonged to British General William Howe.  The dog was returned to General Howe with a note attached, “General Washington’s compliments to General Howe.  He does himself the pleasure to return his dog, which accidentally fell into his hands.”  There can be civility even in hostilities.

Everyone fighting on the side of the colonist was not a solid citizen and history reveals that some of the Patriots were Pirates.  Great Britain had the most powerful navy in the world in 1776 but the American Patriots managed to recruit some privateers and their armed ships to fight for the fledgling nation.  Nearly 800 vessels were commissioned, and they ultimately captured or destroyed approximately 600 British ships.  An American navy could never have defeated the British Armada those privateers caused about $18 MILLION in damage to British shipping by the end of the war. That would be over $302 MILLION in today’s dollars.

General George Washington was masterful in the use of spies and had an extensive spy network during the war!  The undercover patriots included farmers, tailors, merchants, ordinary citizens as well as military officials who were engaged in covert activities and spying.  The Spy Ring was directed by Benjamin Tallmadge or “John Bolton,” who created a complex system of coded messages for the operatives.  Women were also used and the network was complex and extensive.  Those spies listened in on British conversations at a vast arena of locations all over the colonies.  In 1780 they uncovered the British plan to ambush French troops and they spread misinformation about the size of the Colonial Army to the British.  This network was so successful that one British officer said, “Washington did not really outfight the British.  He simply out-spied us.”

Women played a significant role as was reflected in the efforts of Margaret Cochran who married John Corbin in 1772 and joined her husband in the war efforts. She cooked, did laundry, cared for the sick and wounded nursing them to health and even dressed as a man and joined her husband in the Battle of Fort Washington, assisting him in loading the cannon.  He was killed and she took over firing the cannon.  She too was wounded and her left arm nearly severed and her jaw severely wounded. She survived the battle and was awarded a life-long pension equivalent to one-half that received by male soldiers, becoming the first female combat veteran of the war to receive a pension.

One of the turning points in the war was fought in South Carolina in 1781 and was a major turning point in the Revolution.  The Battle of Cowpens was a major success for the American Patriots and thanks to the help of spy/messenger Catherine Moore Barry who knew the trails well notified the militia of the approaching British troops and helped General Morgan lay a trap for Cornwallis and the British providing a significant victory.

The amazing outcome and the subsequent establishment and development of the United States of America produced and continue to produce the best system of government and economics of any system practiced by man.  America won her Independence and became a Free Nation and would become the Free Constitutional Republic established with the ratification of the American Constitution.  I pray that on July 4th, 2018 we will remember what transpired in 1776 and then when the Constitution was signed and later ratified.  WE ARE FREE because of the sacrifices of many and because of the providence and hand of God.

THE DANGERS AND COSTS OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION…


BLOG POST 1 - ILLEGALS

Some of my friends and those on the same side of most issues are on the opposite of the DACA debate.  Some are arguing for “birthright citizenship” for the children born in the United States but neither parent is or was a legal America citizen.  I am not going to use this time to rehash the Constitutional fallacy of their argument but will revisit it again in the future.  However, with regard to ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION or INVASION of our sovereign republic, the cost and dangers are immense.  The fact of criminal activity, the drain on our economy, healthcare and welfare or entitlements poses a clear and present danger to America and Americans.  THAT MUST BE included in the conversation. 

The Department of Homeland Security released their “Alien Report Fiscal Year 2018, Quarter 1” on June 6th and it was disturbing.  There are some enlightening statistics in that report that cannot be excluded from the debate on STAY or DEPORT the Illegals.  We are told in that report that there are 57,820 known or suspected aliens in DOJ custody.  How many are not in custody?  It is a factual statement to say that for every criminal caught and convicted there are dozens of others who are escaping the long arm of the law.  That fact is a disturbing reality even if ILLEGALS were not part of the equation but when we include the millions of illegals, HOW MANY ARE COMMITTING ACTS OF VIOLENCE OR CRIMES UNDETECTED? 

Of the 57, 820 known or suspected illegals in custody almost 35,000 of them have orders of removal issued against them.  Almost 16,000 are still under investigation to determine their immigration status.  Others are either being investigated or are awaiting trial.  Almost 46% of the ILLEGALS in custody are suspected or charged with “drug trafficking” or some other “federal offense” including murder, rape, pedophilia, etc.   That flies in the face of the incessant argument by the Democratic Leftist and Media that the so-called DREAMERs are “innocent children.”  They include members of MS-13 gangs as “innocent children” and their actions make that an impossible position to defend, yet they do.

The ongoing occurrence of crimes by MS-13 gang members, and the report of an ILLEGAL who had been deported 20 times committing sexual assault in Portland (a Sanctuary City).  Sergio Jose Martinez, armed with a knife, sexually assaulted a woman in the basement of a parking garage.  She warded him off and he stole her car and credit cards.  He was released by the Obama administration in 2016 even though they were well-informed of his criminal past. The Sheriff of Multnomah County issued a statement saying, “The sheriff’s office does not hold people in county jails on ICE detainers or conduct any immigration enforcement actions.”  We now have over 300 jurisdictions in America refusing to cooperate with federal immigration authorities regarding ILLEGALS who commit crimes and that includes members of MS-13.  How is that the American way?  How is that doing what is best for America?  How is that protecting the citizens of this country, your county, city, or State?  IT IS NOT!

The Obama administration released 68,000 ILLEGAL criminals in 2013 and made no effort to deport them.  There were 193,357 ILLEGALS with criminal convictions encountered by ICE that year and 67,879 of them were let go with no further concern for their whereabouts or their criminal past and potential danger to Americans.  THANKS, Mr. Obama for protecting and defending the U.S. Constitution and America – NOT!  There were numerous cases where the Obama administration openly and willfully obstructed immigration enforcement, but there is no investigation into his obstruction of justice.  WHY NOT?

We have documented evidence in government and law enforcement reports that there have been and are smuggling networks bringing ILLEGALS with Terrorist ties across our borders.  Our Southern border is incredibly vulnerable to intrusion and must be addressed if we are to keep America sovereign and have any sense of safety and security for our citizens.  Can we stop all illegal entry?  NO, but we can step up the enforcement of our immigration laws and do what is necessary to secure our borders.  Americans deserve that, but the Socialist, liberal leftists of the Democratic Party want no part of a secure America.  WHY?  In a nutshell VOTES.  They envision this invasion as a wave of NEW DEMOCRATS and are doing everything they can to bring that about including allow ILLEGALS to VOTE. 

I have not addressed the fiscal costs of ILLEGALS in America and it is astronomical and cannot be excluded from the debate.  We do not have an endless supply of money and with the problems and dangers of seniors losing or having their Social Security and Medicare cut this cannot be ignored.  Each year, the American taxpayers shell out over $134.9 BILLION to cover the costs of the presence of the more than 12.5 MILLION ILLEGALS. That does not include the 4.2 MILLION CHILDREN deemed to be citizens (although I question that status).  We are told that the tax burden on the tax-payers is about $8,075.00 per ILLEGAL.  If you break that down by Federal, State, and Local costs it is $45,870,474,332.00 on a federal level and $88,992,981,032.00 on a State and Local Level.  Some like to argue that the ILLEGALS pay taxes.  True and not true.  Some do but most don’t.  The reported Federal Taxes paid by ILLEGALS was $15,447,897,700.00 and the State and Local receipts is $3,520,960.,000 for a TOTAL of $18,968,857,700.00.  That means that the negative fiscal impact of the ILLEGALS is about $116 BILLION.  The cost of education, medical costs, justice, welfare, and more is a significant problem. 

When I couple the criminal activity aside from being here ILLEGALLY and the fiscal costs it is my view that we CANNOT AFFORD to ignore this problem.  How do other countries respond to ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION?  Not with leniency and faux compassion, but with an iron fist.  Before you criticize them, consider that they believe that having a secure border, being a sovereign nation, and protecting their citizens fiscally and physically paramount.  HOW CAN WE DO LESS?  We have Immigration Laws and those laws must be obeyed and enforced.  If there is genuine political asylum needed it can be applied for and, where possible, granted.  Just because some came here ILLEGALLY and had a few babies does not mean that we have to ignore their initial crime and do the damage to legal Americans that blindness causes.

You can consider me heartless if you please.  I am Pro-Immigration, but that Immigration MUST BE LEGAL.  The issue has become an incredibly hot potato and difficult issue because politicians have for decades turned a blind eye to the problem.  There is no easy solution and enforcing the law may, at times, appear harsh and hard but we created the problem and it is time to pay the fiddler for our dancing.  If we allow the Democrats to regain control we will move one step closer to losing the Free Constitutional Republic we were given in the aftermath of 1776.  HOW MUCH IS YOUR FREEDOM WORTH?  I stand for Faith, Family, and Freedom and ask you to join in praying for America and fighting for our Republic.  REMEMBER WHAT IS AT STAKE IN NOVEMBER and VOTE!

BLOG POST 1 - American Re[ib;oc

Over the past few days and weeks, I have found it perplexing to listen to, watch, and experience the lack of civility, common sense, and the complete failure to comprehend the American Republic by many.  No, I am not claiming I know it all or that I know much at all, but our American Republic fought for and established by the Founders and Framers is incredibly valuable, often vulnerable, and in many ways very complex.  Today’s academia, many jurist, most politicians, and many citizens in today’s American Society seem to have little grasp of the ingenious system designed, desired, and established by the Patriots of the American Revolution and the Framers of the American Constitution and System of Government.

There are many today, even some who are normally on the Constitutional and Conservative side of the political issues, who believe that the American Constitution should be interpreted according to the current ideological precepts rather than the Original Intent.  The Framers understood the inherent danger in that concept and in the wording of the Document and in their extensive writing they sought to both warn and encourage the generations following to strictly adhere to the Original Intent.  Viewing the American Constitution in any other light strips that document of its authority and power and endangers our Constitutional Republic’s existence.

There are many today, who believe that America is a Democracy and IT IS NOT!  We are a Representative Democracy or a Republic, not a Pure Grecian Democracy where the majority rules.  The Founders and Framers’ clarion call was to avoid the pure democracy at all costs and detailed the perils extensively in their writings.  They placed safeguards in the Constitution and Bill of Rights which embodied the declared intent of the Declaration of Independence.  They sought to provide us with a framework and system of government that would weather changing whims within any group or groups political, social, or economic.  Their labors were nothing short of miraculous and amazing and our American Republic has weathered some incredible storms over the past 240 plus years and we can weather more IF and IF is the Key.  IF we preserve the Constitution and interpret it through the grid of Original Intent.  It is not a living document continually evolving to adapt to the morals, modes, mores, or whims of any generation.  It provides a means for LIMITED GOVERNMENT and places far more power in the hands of the individual States than within the Central Government.  Well, that was the intent but we have allowed politicians and bureaucrats to modify and codify to the point that we have created a Political Monster known as the Federal Government. 

The ever-increasing rhetoric, diatribe, and calls for intensified harassment and even violence, largely by those on the Left are destroying all hope of Civility and sending Common Sense packing.  It matters not if you are on the Left or the Right, you have no right to engage in violence or the authority to censor anyone’s Freedom of Speech.  Everyone has certain inalienable rights that are given by God not government.  Everyone has the right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.  Everyone has the right to Freedom of Speech, and the Right of Self-Defense.  Everyone has the Right to maintain, keep, and protect their Personal Property.  EVERYONE!  Just because you or I do not like a candidate or ideology does not mean we have the right to seek the silencing of those voices. That is one of the things that makes our American System so great, we allow differences of opinion and open debate.  However, when the debate, even heated disagreement, turns into violence, and the call is for “getting in their faces” “bringing a gun to a knife fight”, or “overt harassment” we have crossed the line.  Maxine Waters and others on the Left have crossed that line and are crossing it frequently.  The attempt to argue that this began with Donald J. Trump is somewhat ludicrous, in my mind, because I remember Michelle and Barack Obama calling for stepped up protests and even aggression so it is not new but something that needs to stop.

Civility is a prize plum worth striving for because even our Framers and Founders had heated debate and intense disagreement as to our system of government but kept civility intact, for the most part, enabling them to reach a workable agreement.  When the debate descends into HATE and ANGER boils over all hope of compromise or concrete solutions vanish.  There are those who say, “I don’t hate Trump, I am oblivious to him” and yet incessantly attack him and those who are supporting him, I argue they are not oblivious to him at all.  I did not like the policies of Barack Obama and highlighted where I thought he was wrong frequently but for the sake of our American Republic, I did not want anything to happen to him, such as is being called for against Donald Trump.  I believe and believed that Barack Obama did not have the best interest of America at heart and that he was being true to his stated position, that “if the political winds turned sour he would side with the Muslims.”  He demonstrated that in many of his policies and edicts that America was, in his mind, an evil empire needing correction and/or punishment for her sins, which he deemed were many.  On the other hand, I do believe that Donald Trump does have America’s best interest at heart.  He may be misguided in some of his actions, over the top in some of his Twitter responses, and take wrong actions from time to time, but in his heart, America is first.

The upcoming mid-term elections are critical and if anyone allows their dislike for the President to prevent them from defeating the Democrats we will endanger if not open the door to the destruction of our American Republic.  The Supreme Court is VITAL for the preservation of our Republic and the Constitution as it was written and intended.  That means the Republicans in the Senate MUST confirm the nominee, providing that jurist is a Constitutionalist and values America as a Sovereign Republic.  The argument of the Democrats that the Republicans set a precedent to not confirm a nominee in an election year falls flat because this IS NOT a Presidential Election and they know that was the argument.  The Republicans would have probably been well served to have brought the Obama nominee to the floor for an “up or down” vote and voted NO then moved on, but they didn’t and now they must demonstrate Political Fortitude and CONFIRM the replacement Jurist to fill Justice Kennedy’s seat.

Things like Border Security, the Supreme Court, our Inalienable Rights, keeping our Tax Breaks, strengthening our National Security, and Military, as well as enabling our Economy to keep moving in an upward direction all hang in the balance in November.  I am not suggesting that anyone violate their convictions and principles but I am suggesting that Keeping America Safe and Free is vital to our continued enjoyment of our Freedoms and Liberties.  I find that life does not always afford me WHAT I WANT but often presents me with choices that require me to make a decision and take an action that provides the best hope of achieving our desired objective.  Socialism is on the rise in the Democrat Party and Socialism would be a disaster in America.  Obamacare was an experiment in Socialism and the Open Borders demands, as well as the many Entitlement and so-called protected classes of people’s demands, are driving our Republic to the precipice of the Abyss.  I will fight against that with every breath I have and every ounce of energy.  I will try to maintain Civility, use Common Sense and Reason, and stand firmly on the Side of the American Republic as is detailed in the Constitution and Bill of Rights.  My position is, without apology, for Faith, Family, and Freedom!

IF AMERICA IS SO BAD – Why???


BLOG POST 2 - America

 

If the United States of America is the evil, inhumane, insensitive, and intolerant place the MSM, Hollywood liberals, and most national Democrats claim, then why are so many people trying to get here?  The fact that people are trying to get here legally and illegally is proof that America is not the heartless and evil place described in the optics of the Left?  If America was the intolerant hateful and evil empire described by the Democrats and talking heads on the national news that would not be happening.  Argue that if you please but your resistance is self-defeating based on facts and truth.  Reason blows the argument of our gross inhumanity and intolerance out of the water.

If you go to virtually any other country you are not allowed to ignore their laws and you are expected to assimilate or at least comply with their cultural mores, and laws.  You cannot go to a Muslim nation and speak offensively about their so-called prophet, Muhammed.  You ignore their culture at your own peril.  You cannot proselytize or even give witness for another faith without facing the severity of their laws and could face execution.  You cannot work in their nation without proper qualifications, education, and approval by their government.  In the United States of America, you are not forced to assimilate and allowed to follow your religion no matter what it is, if you do so peaceably.  You are not told how you must dress and allow freedom of movement and can live anywhere you can afford.  The image of America painted by the Left, if believed by the rest of the world, would immediately end our immigration problem because NO ONE WOULD WANT TO COME.  That is not America that the world sees nor the world that most of America’s see.  It is nothing more than political optics presented by the Left to advance an agenda and an ideological cause. 

The uproar over the Separation of Children from Parents is a fraudulent cause being advanced by the Leftist Politicians and the MSM.  Bill Clinton separated children from parents, George W. Bush did, and Barack H. Obama did as well.  We have been separating children from parents for a very long time.  When parents are placed in the custody of our judicial system they and their children are separated, rightfully so.  We have been separating children from parents when the parents endanger those children as the Illegals are doing.  There has never been an uproar over the fact that parents who committed crimes and are incarcerated have their children taken from them.  Why is this different?  It is different because it affords the Leftist an opportunity to paint America and especially Donald J. Trump as evil.  No one who has any compassion or empathy wants to see anyone treated inhumanely.  I would argue that many of those children are being treated more humanely when they were taken from their criminal parents than leaving them together would be.

Where is the uproar over Abortion over of 60 MILLION CHILDREN, since the inception of Roe v Wade?  Those children have been separated from their parents through the butchery of abortion?  Get angry with me over that statement if you please but I believe and true science and medicine agree that that baby in the womb is just that a human baby.  If our desire is to protect children I must ask, when will we have the same anger and angst toward the slaughter of the innocent in the womb as we do the children of the illegals or children used by illegals to gain entrance into this nation?  If America was such a horrible place why would they want to perpetuate that crime and incur that danger?  THEY WOULD NOT!

America is, in my view, the greatest nation on planet earth and affords more opportunities than can be found anywhere else.  I can appreciate someone taking exception to that statement in defense of their nation.  But, I know of no other nation that affords the opportunities as are found in America.  There is no system of enterprise and economics that is superior to our Free Market Capitalistic System.  There is no governmental system that surpasses that of the Free Constitutional Republic our Founders and Framers labored to provide.  America is deemed by most of those seeking entrance, worth the risk and they know, based on our history they will not receive the harsh treatment they would in their own land for being illegal.  They deem the “risk worth the reward” and come in droves.  That invasion poses many problems never discussed for America and Americans.  Some of those coming illegally are violent criminals and commit atrocious acts of violence as is frequently documents.  If we open our borders we will destroy our Republic and endanger America and Americans.  WE MUST NOT DO THAT!

This is a political ploy, not a real heart-felt cause being advanced by the Democrats, MSM, and Hollywood liberals.  Its purpose is not rooted in the humane treatment of children or anyone it is designed to give a boost to the ratings, polls, and votes in November.  It is one float in the endless parade of the Leftist seeking to regain power and complete the ‘fundamental transformation’ proposed and attempted by Barack Obama.  America, we are the most welcoming, charitable, and tolerant nation on earth and refuse to allow the Left to convince you otherwise.  WE MUST defeat the Liberal Socialist Leftist Progressive Globalist in November and that largely means defeat the Democrats.  America’s future is in our hands.  WHAT WILL WE DO?

DO WE HAVE EQUAL RIGHTS as Christians, Conservatives, and Constitutionalist???


BLOG POST 1 Equal Rights

Not in the world of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Bernie Sanders, and a myriad of Socialist, Communist, Collectivist, Globalist, Liberal, Progressive, Democrats and Hollywood types.  NOPE!  According to their expressed views and actions, we have no rights as Christians, Conservatives, and/or Constitutionalist because we disagree with them and they consider us the dregs of society and the scum of the earth.  In their rhetoric and diatribe, we are painted as evil hate-filled phobic bigots who do not deserve the same rights as those for whom they argue.  They claim to be for equal rights but equal possibly falls into the same category as Bill Clinton’s definition of “is”.  It means whatever they determine it to mean and Webster’s Dictionary would not be useful in their concluding the true meaning of EQUAL RIGHTS.

The somewhat surprising decision (7-2) by the Supreme Court regarding the Colorado baker who refused to bake a cake for a “same-sex” wedding is cause for hope and another reason that we MUST prevent the Liberal Leftists Democrats from regaining control of one or both Houses of Congress in November.  I was surprised to find that liberal justices Elena Kagan, Stephen Breyer and Anthony Kennedy sided with the four conservatives deciding in favor of Jack Phillips the baker protecting his constitutional rights.  The Justices ruled that the Colorado Civil Rights Commission had demonstrated hostility toward faith and violated Mr. Phillips’ 1st Amendment rights to free exercise of religion. They so ruled because, in their explanation, the Commission had not enforced regulations with neutrality.

You might be surprised to learn that Colorado officials had actually protected several bakers who were charged with anti-religious discrimination when they refused to design a cake with a quote from Leviticus condemning homosexuality.  Surprise?  No at all, because if you stand against the Bible, Christianity, or Constitutional Conservativism you are protected by Leftist Governments.  I have been convinced that Mr. Phillips was set-up by some the LGBT and Leftist when he refused to bake a cake for David Mullins and Charlie Craig in 2012.  He, along with a number of other Christian businessmen was targeted by the sexual-devolutionary lobby.  I am encouraged because the ruling of the SCOTUS keyed on the word EVENT.  Mr. Phillips had informed Mullins and Craig that he would happily bake a cake for them for any other event but that a “same-sex” wedding violated his religious convictions and therefore he could not oblige them in their request.   He had no sign in his store expressing an unwillingness to serve homosexuals.  He had no straightness sign and did not decline service to a particular type of people or any particular sexual preference. He refused service for a particular EVENT!  In a nutshell, his actions were not the same as liberals refusing to serve Christians or Trump supporters but were akin to blacks or Jews refusing to service, respectively, a KKK or Nazi affair or event.

The idea that it is okay for the government to compel a private business to be party to any event that he/she finds morally objectionable is a direct violation of the constitution.  Do we really want to cross that bridge or travel down that road where we so empower the federal or state government?  The Colorado Civil Rights Commission argued that Mr. Phillips had violated the Colorado anti-discrimination law that bars any business from refusing service based on race, sex, marital status, or sexual orientation.  The officials of the State either did not know how to rightly apply their laws or they didn’t care due to their desire to advance a particular agenda.  Mr. Phillips DID NOT single out homosexuals or even faux weddings.  If you dig a little deeper you will find that he also refused to create bakery goods with alcohol, and won’t make cakes celebrating Halloween or other messages his faith prohibits, such as racism, atheism, or any marriage not between one man and one woman.  He has been consistent but the government appears to have singled out homosexual events to persecute Christians.  The government SHOULD NEVER be allowed to infringe upon the freedom of association.

When we allow the PC Police and the Federal or State Governments to dictate what we are allowed to stand for in our personal religious convictions we create a slippery slope that leads to destruction.  Most business people do not have a problem serving anyone but every private business MUST be allowed to follow their core convictions and not be forced to violate their religious beliefs to accommodate so group who disagrees with those convictions or beliefs. Do those of us who are Christians, Conservatives, and Constitutionalist not have the same rights as those who believe differently than we?   NOT IN THE VIEW OF THE LEFT.

If you value your individual rights and believe you have certain inalienable rights and embrace the arguments of the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and the Bill of Rights you need to be incredibly cautious this November regarding your vote.  If you refuse to vote you enable the Democrats in their quest to regain power.  If you vote in such a way that allows the liberal leftist to win the election you participate in the assault on our freedoms and rights.  You are the only person who can decide how to vote but I pray that you will both pray and consider what is at stake.  I believe that if you do you will vote to oust the Democrats and continue our window of opportunity to restore America to her Constitutional Position and Condition.

BLOG POST 3 - Spying Lies and Lying Spies

If it were not so serious and diabolical I would have had a good belly laugh when the Three Stooges of the Federal Intelligence Community said, “Mr. President, we are only spying on you to protect you.”  Their lies and manipulations of facts have been so blatant and outlandish it would seem that no one could possibly believe them, BUT THEY DO!  There are millions of minions out there who do not seem to have any connectivity between the gray matter in their cranium and reality.  THEY DON’T THINK!  They listen, drink in, and regurgitate what they have been told perpetuating the fraud and doing damage to our troubled Republic.

If you remember back in April, Fox News Anchor, Brett Baier asked Mr. James Comey if he had seen John Brennan and/or James Clapper since his firing and Mr. Comey said, “NO, NO!”  Then backtracked and said, “Well, I had dinner with the two of them and our spouses, but we didn’t talk about the Trump case.”  Was that a pig I saw flying outside my window?  Sounds like horse manure to me and reeks with a pungent odor as well.  Mr. Comey has repeatedly shaded the truth, twisted the facts, misrepresented the happenings, and LIED!  Those three men have demonstrated a hatred for Donald J. Trump that can only be described as ALL-CONSUMING.  The more I listen to the three of them, the more it is apparent they are so staunchly against this president and for Hillary Clinton and the Leftist Agenda, the more they remind me of Keystone Cops and/or the Three Stooges.  Their charade (investigation and spying) has one objective and Protecting President Trump is not their motive.  They want him gone any way possible and I am convinced they have become so morally bankrupt they would do anything to achieve that goal.

The dodging of the realities of their phony fabricated document known as the Steel Dossier or the Russian Dossier, compiled by the antagonist of Donald Trump and supporters of Hillary Clinton or the Democrats.  They ignore their illegalities and show no misgivings in their deceiving the FISA Judges or not being fully forthcoming with the Judge(s) regarding their INTEL (fairy tales).  They do not acknowledge their moles and spies in the Trump Campaign and the absence of such plants in the Hillary Camp.  James Clapper has argued that “Spying on the Trump Campaign and his administration as routine, normal, and a good thing.”  He has pleaded ignorance regarding the informant Stefan Halper and insists that no one at the White House knew about him.  Yet, it was Obama’s DOJ, State Department, CIA, FBI, NSA, Homeland Security that engineered this and Mr. Obama was briefed daily.  DID NOT KNOW?  I am certain that I saw a Unicorn playing with a Flying Pig in my backyard.  Yes, I am being facetious because their fallaciousness is too apparent for me to respond otherwise.  If you listen to them, they were not shadowing Carter Page for over a year to entrap him, and they never sought to entrap or manipulate George Papadopoulos to SPY, and Halper was just observing and doing his public service.  George Orwell would remind us of his insight regarding Political Language. He said, “It is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and give an appearance of solidity to pure wind.”  A nice way to say it is nothing more than horse droppings.

There has been enough information surface to demand an investigation into the involvement of the Obama administration, Obama, his DOJ, and Hillary Clinton.  That will not likely happen UNLESS we totally rid ourselves of the Democratic debris in DC and dehorn the RINOS replacing them with Constitutional Patriots.  One would have to buy the theory that the FBI went off the rail in a rogue coup attempt without any direction, oversight, or agreement by the Obama White House.  Obama claimed his administration was SCANDAL FREE and even said it was the most “scandal-free administration in history.”  I’m sure he was taking a page out of Bill Clinton’s book of explanation and using the “IS” definition defense.  I cannot forget the many scandals and reasons to investigate the man and his administration.  Dare we forget Fast & Furious, targeting the Tea Party and Conservatives by the IRS, Benghazi and the cover-up, Hillary’s emails, or Spygate?  Those are just a drop in the bucket of the scandalous activities of the Obama Administration and even they pale in comparison to what a Hillary Clinton Administration would look like. It is impossible to miss that at the heart of each of those was Valerie Jarrett, who some say was arguably our first female president.  She was the neck that turned the head in the Obama years.  Some have called her Obama’s Rasputin and assuredly his mentor and the devious mind behind many of the scandals and cover-ups.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Valerie Jarret was a key player in the decision to plant spies in the Trump campaign.  The Obama legacy was and is very important to Jarret because in a very real sense it is her legacy.  I believe the decision was made in the Obama White House and passed along to his surrogate agencies and bureaucracies that if Hillary could not ascend to the White House, the Donald J. Trump had to be destroyed, at all costs.  There is no possible way that the Spying Operation that was conducted against Trump and his Team was unknown to Obama or Jarrett.  Former press secretary Ari Fleischer believes that it would be impossible to have conducted such an operation without the full knowledge of both Valerie Jarrett and Barack Obama. I agree!

I cannot buy the spin and rhetoric that Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Bruce Ohr, Loretta Lynch, James Clapper, John Brennan, and the myriad of other people involved in the operation were doing so without the knowledge of the President or Jarret.  They were on a mission to keep Hillary out of Jail and seek to provide Obama with plausible deniability and Destroy Donald John Trump any way possible.  We are dealing with a Swamp so deep and filled with vile denizens any positive move toward reality and truth may be impossible.  The Deep State is so entrenched and powerful getting to the truth may never become a reality.  HOW DO WE RESOLVE THIS?  The course of action we must take is PRAY for deliverance from this tyranny and then VOTE OUT every Swamp Denizen and Deep State Operative now serving in Congress from ALL PARTIES.  We must REPLACE them with Genuine Constitutional American Patriots who have the courage and determination to DO WHAT IS RIGHT and CONSTITUTIONAL.   That is up to us!

BLOG POST 2 - Socialism

Bernie Sanders and many of the Democrats are clearly Socialist at their core and express a disdain for Capitalism, but enjoy the benefits thereof.  Many of the millennials are buying that rhetoric as are a significant number of those in academia.  The gradual erosion of our system of economics and system of government is alarming and raises red flags that every Freedom Loving American should be concerned about.  Are we at the tipping point in America?  Are we nearing the collapse of our system of economics and politics?  We are nearer to that condition than many believe or are willing to acknowledge.

I have seen polls that indicate that many of the millennials prefer the idea of socialism to free-market capitalism.  It is not just those educated in liberal universities or those uneducated and engaged in the pursuit of entitlements that lean toward socialism, it is widespread.  Dr. Walter Williams has advanced the theory that this is due to the persistent and consistent indoctrination from kindergarten through college.  Tragically, most of the teachers promoting socialism are terribly uninformed or misinformed as to what free market capitalism really is.  They seem to be oblivious to the historic failures of socialism everywhere it has been tried and the success of free-market capitalism where allowed to function fully and freely.

In nations where there is the peaceful and voluntary exchange, people prosper and it is vastly superior morally to any other economic system known to man.  Private Property was considered sacred to our Founding Fathers and the Framers of our American Constitution.  Each of us owns himself or herself in a very real sense.  As a Christian, I believe that God owns the world and all that is in it including his creation – MAN, but he has given us the inalienable right to self-determination or OWNERSHIP of ourselves.  Any crime against our person is immoral as well as illegal and that would include Congress confiscating the rightful earnings of one American to give to another.  That is why James Madison said, “I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.”   Thomas Jefferson argued, “To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired of it.”  Upwards of three-quarters (75%) of the federal budget can rightly be described as Congress taking the rightful earnings of one American to give to another.  Thereby enslaving the one being taken from and forcing them to serve the one to whom the money is given.  That is immoral, unconstitutional, and should be illegal.  That is the beginnings of Socialism and a violation of Free Market Capitalism.

The danger posed for Free Market Capitalism is not in its failure but success.  It has been through Free Market Capitalism that we have made significant advancements in dealing with or eliminating such things as disease, pestilence, hunger, and gross poverty.  We claim to want to eliminate those things and yet the envy, covetousness, and greed of individuals who look at those who have succeeded poses a danger for Free Market Capitalism.  I like the analogy used by Dr. Walter Williams in his discourse on Capitalism. He suggested that we compare capitalism and socialism by using a series of questions.

In which areas of our lives do we find the greatest satisfaction, and in which do we find the greatest dissatisfaction?  Think about that for a minute.  How many times do you hear people complain about computer stores, clothing stores, supermarkets, or hardware stores?  Oh, they complain but not to the extent or express the degree of animosity toward these as they do toward boards of education, oil companies, motor vehicle departments, etc.  What are the real differences?  The motivation for the services provided by computer stores, clothing stores, supermarkets, or hardware stores is profit.  If you don’t like the way they do business you fire them and take your business elsewhere.  But with public education, motor vehicle departments, police, and sanitation services they are not motivated by profit and if you become dissatisfied with their service it is incredibly costly if not impossible for you to fire them.

In Socialist nations, the inherent brutality is impossible to overlook.  In the one-party socialist states such as the former USSR, Germany under the National Socialist German Worker’s Party and the People’s Republic of China there were at least 118 million citizens murdered.  There is no comparable brutality in any country that has Free Market Capitalism as its economic system where there is the free and voluntary exchange of goods and services.  Dr. Thomas Sowell has rightly said, “Socialism sounds great.  It has always sounded great. And it will probably always continue to sound great.  It is only when you go beyond rhetoric, and start looking at hard facts, that socialism turns out to be a big disappointment, if not a disaster.”

In Socialism or Communism, everything belongs to the state and the state decides what you should keep of what you have earned or produced.  It, theoretically, makes the playing field level but destroys motivation.  If you were in a college classroom and the professor decided to adopt a grading system based on socialism you would love it if you were unmotivated and underperforming but hate it if you were an achiever and produced good grades.  In that system, everyone would receive a “C” to make it equal and even for everyone.  The result of that would be no one would study and work because there is no motivation to do so.  In economics, if the government takes what you earn and equally distributes it to those who do not work, what would be the result?  Everyone would stop working and wait for a handout.  The result of that would be forced labor where the government mandated that you work and then Big Brother would redistribute your wealth.  That is one of the fallacies of Socialism.  In Free Market Capitalism, if one is willing to work, and risk, they can succeed.  All will not but the opportunity is there and it is your inalienable right to expect to keep what you have earned or produced.  No person or government has the right to take from one to give to another.  True benevolence and charity would be for a person to choose to willingly give to another not have their possessions confiscated and redistributed.

Bernie Sanders and in many ways the rest of the Democrats want to move us to that system of economics and relegate our Republic to a system of socialism.  If that is not what you want for America then it is incumbent upon you to go to the polls in November and VOTE.  However, it is not enough to vote you must vote in such a manner as to defeat the Leftist and ensure that America can continue to allow every citizen the right to “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”  Never allow anyone to steal your Rights or your Liberty.

I DO NOT DEFEND RACISM OR BIGOTRY, So I Must Ask…

Where is the equal outrage toward Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Samantha Bee, Jimmy Kimmel, Michelle Obama, Robert De Niro, and a host of other Democratic Leftist when they make racist, bigoted, hateful, harmful, vitriolic statements or comments about President Trump or virtually any Conservative or Constitutionalist?  IT DOES NOT EXIST!  Rosanne Barr’s comments have been attacked with a vengeance but nothing was or is being said about the myriad of Leftist Comedians, Politicians, Hollywood Elitist, and News Commentators who make comments equally offensive, in poor taste, and vile.  THAT IS HYPOCRISY at its finest, but that seems to be the norm in the Politically Correct, Liberal, Leftist, Socialist America today.

Hillary called everyone who did not support her, DEPLORABLES and that was perfectly fine with the Left and even applauded.  Barack Obama called us BITTER CLINGERS and that was applauded.  But, when Donald Trump referred to MS-13 Gang Members as ANIMALS, he was castigated and painted as the most racist, bigoted, and evil person since Genghis Khan or maybe even Lucifer himself.  Former President, Barack Obama was so furious over the 2016 Election he fumed that the voters who elected Donald Trump could “just have their cartoon.”  WOW!  The man that preached we had to be tolerant demonstrated incredible intolerance.  The man that demanded we never refer to Islamic Terrorism because, to him, those terrorists were not Islamic although that is exactly what they claimed, and when perpetrating their acts of evil shouted, “Allah Akbar”.  They announced they were following the teachings of the Quran.  Yet, the former president demanded that all Islam was peaceful while condemning Christianity as inherently evil citing the crusades.  So much for tolerance, understanding, and compassion, right?

Ben Rhodes in his new book “The World As It Is” asked the question, “What If We Were Wrong?”  The, we being the Democrats, and Mr. Rhodes, please let me answer that for you, “Yes you were wrong.”  You chose the wrong candidate, the wrong message, advanced the wrong policies and agenda, and trounced on the sensibilities of millions of Americans and woke them up.  THANK GOD YOU WERE WRONG!  He also said that he should have predicted the outcome.  He said, “I couldn’t shake the feeling that I should have seen it coming.”  He continued, “Because when you distilled it, stripped out the racism and misogyny, we’d run against Hillary eight years ago with the same message Trump had used: She’s part of a corrupt establishment that can’t be trusted to bring change.”  Racism and misogyny?  Seriously, Mr. Rhodes?  There was racism in the campaign but the lion’s share of it came from your side of the aisle and even from the White House.  YES, Hillary was a part of a corrupt establishment and cannot be trusted.  THAT’S ONE OF THE MAJOR REASONS SHE LOST.  Your candidate and your message were flawed.  Now, those of your Party continually, Trash Trump and use incredibly vile language and characterizations against him and those of us who voted for him with total impunity.  But, people like Roseanne Barr who make any comments or comparisons about a Leftist Liberal Socialist Democrat are vilified.  AGAIN, that is not a defense of her comments but if we are going to have outrage, let’s have equal outrage at those on both sides of the aisle.

CNN recently had a guest on the “New Day” program, Michaela Angela Davis who told the co-hosts that ALL TRUMP SUPPORTERS ARE RACIST.  That blanket charge is so ludicrous it should have been immediately slapped down but it wasn’t.  Ms. Davis said that “Trump made being openly racist popular.”  SERIOUSLY?  Do you not remember the inciting and racist comments of both President Obama and Michelle through their eight years in the White House?  How soon they forget that before Donald Trump added an [R] after his name he was their darling but that letter became his Scarlet Letter and damned him to hell in the eyes of the Leftist.  Ms. Davis seems to have no issue with the violence, vitriolic hate and antics coming from her side of the political spectrum.  She defended the violence of Black Lives Matter in September 2016 and said their antics was simply, “burning down the plantation.”  THAT IS INCENDIARY and RACIST!

Former President Bill Clinton’s daughter Chelsea continues to demonstrate the family traits of fabrications, accusations and ignores the failings of her parents while lashing into Donald Trump with a vengeance.  She is playing the favorite cards of the Democrats calling Trump a Racist, Misogynist. She had the audacity to accuse the Trump administration as “venal, corrupt, and focused on making life harder for millions of Americans.”  SERIOUSLY?  Princess Chelsea, seriously?  She is showing all the classic signs of “Snowflake Syndrome” and is so thin-skinned, any negative comments to her or about the Clinton Crime Family is taboo and worthy of her attack.  Finger pointing is not something that Little Miss Chelsea should engage in because people who live in glass houses should never throw stones. She said, “Trump degrades what it means to be an American?”  She is entitled to her opinion but if you are going to dish it out, you had better be able to take it.  No family in America has done more to degrade what it means to be an American than her own, with the exception of Barack H. Obama. She lies and falsely accuses the President’s administration of being TRUMPISTAN – a nation where policies are based on bigotry, where the truth doesn’t matter and American values of tolerance and pluralism are no more.  That seems to be to be another example of the Left projecting its own abuses onto President Trump.  She lies and the left applauds her lies and repeats them.

It is my hope and prayer that millions more Americans will awaken from their slumber and stupor and realize that they have been lied to by the MSM, the Democrats, Hollywood, Comics, and Activist and VOTE NO ON THE LEFTIST AGENDA.  November is a pivotal turning point and crossroad in America’s future.  Which road will we take?  Will we take the road to fundamental transformation or the road of constitutionalism?  I truly believe that the future of the Republic is at stake and that makes this election critical.
