THE OBAMA DAMAGE CONTINUES…


BLOG POST 2- Damage

I saw a poll recently that suggested Michelle Obama would beat Donald Trump by 10+ points in a national election.  That is disturbing for many reasons, not the least of which is the damage done to the Republic by the Obama’s and the vitriolic hate that Michelle has spewed forth from time to time regarding race.  Is it that America is so enamored with firsts that this nation would be willing to allow an individual to become president simply because she is classified or identifies as a woman?  Are there still some in America who truly believe that Obama was a great president and oblivious to the fraud, scandals, deception, and damage his policies have inflicted upon this nation?  The answer to that is obviously, YES and that breaks my heart.  Before anyone attempts to blast me that my dislike for the presidency of Barack Obama has anything to do with race, IT DOES NOT!  It is rooted in my love for America and my desire to see this nation return to being, the Constitutional Republic established by our Famers and Founders.  It is anchored in my distaste for bad Government not, Race.  You can disbelieve me if you choose but I know my heart.

One of the many disastrous actions of President Obama was his unconstitutional edict establishing the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).  His ignoring border security and attempting to create a borderless nation making us citizens of the world rather than a sovereign republic did and is doing great damage to our Republic.  Congress has the plenary authority constitutionally to establish rules regarding immigration but the President has only the authority delegated to him by Congress on the matter.  Barack Obama’s action was a clear abuse of presidential power and an exercise of unconstitutional authority.  President Trump was right in announcing the six-month wind down of the program back on September 5, 2017.  Congress must act but I would argue they should not Legalize DACA.

Our Federal Immigration Laws clearly give no permission for the reclassification of millions of illegals as being here lawfully and make them eligible for a myriad of federal and state benefits or work authorization.  THAT IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL, yet Barack Obama did it and there are those in Congress desiring President Trump to do the same.  If Congress Legalizes DACA the collateral damage done to our Republic and national sovereignty and safety will be colossal.  Qualifications for DACA was supposed to include the children enrolling in school and graduate from high school, obtain a GED certificate or receive an honorable discharge from the military.  Additionally, they were to have no felony convictions or significant misdemeanors, or no more than three other misdemeanors or pose a threat to public safety or national security.  THAT WAS JOKE UNDER OBAMA!  The Obama administration consistently waived those requirements and we know that only about 49% of the DACA recipients attained a high school education.  Could that be because the majority of them were adults, not minors or children? EXACTLY!  They were not required to attain fluency in English.  Their limited grasp of the language and low educational level placed them in a position to obtain only the lowest paying jobs a further drain on our economy.  It is reported that about 82% of DACA-eligible aliens were adults and their average income was about $13,200 per year which means they were consistently hovering near the poverty level of 2017 which is slightly over $12,000 per year.  That poses a significant financial strain on our economy because they will be awarded many government entitlements and benefits.

The Democrats are arguing for Chain Migration for DACA recipients.  A bit of historical research reveals much about that danger.  Over the past three decades, there have been about 33 million legal immigrants admitted to the United States. Of those 33 million, about 20 million were chain migration immigrants or about 61%. The average immigrant sponsored 3.45 additional immigrants.  I am convinced that with DACA participants that number would be much higher.   If Congress allows Chain Migration to DACA participants then that will  mean those illegals are rewarded for their illegal activities and our shores will be flooded  with more immigrants who have not been properly or fully vetted and would mean that we would likely be flooded with those of limited education and flood the workforce with low skilled individuals further damaging our economy.  This would simply attract more illegal immigration not less and would not solve the mountain of enforcement problems we now face. 

What should happen is an immediate and all-out effort to secure the border and enforce our current immigration laws.  We need to enhance our border security, strengthen immigration enforcement, and improve the legal immigration process.  We MUST track everyone here on a visa or permit and know who comes and when they leave.  If they do not leave we need to locate and assist them in their departure.  We are supposed to be a nation of laws and if we reward any group of people for breaking or ignoring our laws we invite anarchy on other fronts and in other sectors.  No republic can survive the lawlessness that would be invited.

DACA is one of many disastrous programs and actions by President Barack Obama and how anyone could even remotely consider voting for Michelle as President blows my mind.  Have we reached the place in our American Society that we are willing to become pawns to the State and told what we can and cannot do?  Have we reached the place that we are so fearful of the PC Police and the charge of Racism we will cower in the corner and vote for the kind of destruction she would bring upon America?  How is it that Michelle, Barack, and many others some black and some white on the Left can spew racist remarks and call for racist actions and be called patriots but if anyone opposes them we are called traitors, unfeeling, uncaring, bigots, phobic, or racists?  AMERICA, if we do not stay the course and continue the marginally open window we have been given by defeating the Democrats we will see incredible damage or loss of our Constitutional Republic.  WAKE UP!

BLOG POST 1 - Cold in Here

The country song by Joe Diffie, “Is It Cold in Here or Is It Just You?” comes to mind as I view what is happening in my beloved nation.  The toxicity of liberalism, the vitriol of hate, the impasse of divisiveness, and the frigidity of political correctness are sending chills down the spine of Freedom Loving Americans daily.  The society we have created over the past 40-50 years is destroying our nation and eroding the foundations upon which any society can survive.  The entitlement mentality, the “Me Generation”, and the Snowflake culture is creating a condition that can only produce violence, hate, distrust, and division over which no bridge can span.  We are doing what our foreign enemies have been unable to do – DESTROY AMERICA!

The Snowflake Society that is now prevalent on virtually every college campus and throughout much of our society has crescendoed to the place that censorship and character assignation of anyone disagreeing with them is desired and practiced.  They claim to be standing in defense of the 1st Amendment while stripping those who disagree, of their right to speak freely.  They are perfectly willing to strip everyone, not of their ilk of any and all rights, mandating they comply or die.  Yes, some of them have chanted that very thing regarding conservatives and those on the other side of the issue than themselves.  That is a cold wave that no society can survive.  Some seem to have become so cold, calloused, and selfish they would rather see the nation destroyed than deal with differences.  They cry for tolerance and understanding while refusing to be either tolerant or understanding.  They chant that the NRA is a terrorist organization without one peep of concern over the millions of aborted babies by Planned Parenthood.  They want us to tolerate violent gangs such as MS-13 and even Islamic terrorist and clamor for their rights to be protected but want to strip the millions of law-abiding Americans of their rights to defend themselves and keep what they have earned.  The chill of that sends tremors through my being.

We continue this plunge to destruction, stripping people of personal responsibility and accountability as in seen in one of the latest trends where colleges are not being mandated to give “Snowflake Disability Status” to students.  That status awards them with more time on tests because they are so traumatized they need special consideration.  SERIOUSLY?  What is a “Snowflake”?  I could give you a number of definitions and all but one would earn me the disdain of the Left and label me with some derogatory moniker to paint me a person not worthy of occupying space on the planet.  The word “Snowflake” as I am using it here could readily be defined as “a noun – an overly sensitive or easily offended person, or one who believes they are entitled to special treatment because of their supposedly unique characteristics.”  They believe they are special because they have been traumatized by having to face, hear, or see conservatives and constitutionalist in life and those dastardly souls want them to actually work for what they get, manifest personal responsibility and accountability.  My first response is, “GROW UP!”  My second is, “We’d better get a handle on this or we will lose this Republic because some of those Snowflakes are going to become Congressmen/women and Senators.”

What is Snowflake Disability?  I’m sure it will soon become a medically confirmed disease or condition and we will be awarding them monthly disability checks to compensate for the trauma that we have caused those poor souls.  One report suggests that at elite U.S. colleges and universities about one in four students are classified as “disabled” because they have experienced “stress or anxiety” and must be afforded special consideration, given special accommodations, and even awarded grades they have not earned or deserved.  At some of those schools, it is deemed they are to be awarded twice as much time as their peers who are not so classified.  I guess that fits the new norm of today’s world and wonder how long it will take before a vast majority of students will seek to be so classified or will revolt over the blatant disparity.  At one university in California, 22% of the student body is now classified as “disabled”, not because of physical or other traditional definitions but because they are Snowflakes and have been traumatized by life.  In a university in Ohio it is 25% and at Marlboro College in Vermont, it is 33%.  THAT IS ASTOUNDING.  How can we possibly teach students to become productive members of society and learn to adapt and deal with stress, anxiety, and problems when we coddle them this way?  We are doing them and ourselves a great disservice and hammering away at the foundations of our society and republic.

What is happening in colleges as well as other sectors of society is there is a growing chorus of those who realize they can ride a gravy train through life if they yell, UNFAIR, RACISM, or some other politically correct term or phrase.  Learned Entitlement is shredding the foundations of our republic and society and the bitter cold of that reality is going to plunge us into oblivion. I was taught in the home, in school, in the military, and in life that learning to deal with “stress” and handling “anxiety” learning to work under pressure and find viable solutions was necessary and even mandatory.  Some cannot and I empathize with that real condition but this phenomenon in Snowflake-ism is an escape from reality, not a real disability that should receive any sympathy or empathy.  They need a swift kick in the seat of their pants, their plates were broken, and sent into the real world to live.  I fear that we are rapidly becoming a SNOWFLAKE NATION and that will jeopardize us externally as well as internally.

I believe that this mentality that is taught, caught, and learned is one of the factors in the rise in school shootings, violence, and mass murders in our nation.  Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and many in the national limelight have demonstrated that mentality believing they are ENTITLED.  Anyone that questions the Snowflake Society becomes a target for their ire and wrath.  Anyone who challenges their Entitlement is likely to find they are the target of a campaign to so impugn their character and their destruction politically, socially, and economically will be sought.  If those squeaky wheels are loud enough and have the ear of enough powerful politicians then government agencies may be used against those troubling the troubled Snowflakes.

America, we either wake up and return to a condition where everyone is held personally responsible and accountable and our schools return to teaching the core subjects and how to think through problems or we perish.  Yes, I believe it is that serious.  I feel a chill that is rapidly turning into a freeze that will destroy us.  I am praying for the sun of reason to shine and thaw the frozen minds of liberals throughout this land.  This is another reason to VOTE NO on the Leftist in November and keep hope alive.

HOW DEEP IS THE SWAMP???


BLOG POST 4 - Deep State

It is deeper than the ocean and wider than the sea and continuing to become deeper and wider as the most recent revelations in detail.  Vice President Mike Pence declared, “Americans have the right to know’ regarding the surveillance upon the Trump campaign.”  He is right, we do have a right to know but he did not go far enough.  We not only have a right to know, we have a right to demand prosecution of all illegal activities not just a partisan search for something to pen on President Trump.

I found it laughable, based on history, that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein would say, “If anyone did infiltrate or surveil participants in a presidential campaign for inappropriate purposes, we need to know about it and take appropriate action.”  Please pause while I have a deep belly laugh at that from Mr. Rosenstein.  I’ve heard the wind blow before and recognize bull droppings when I see it and that is just what his statements are.  He is right, we do need to know and appropriate action needs to be taken, but Mr. Rosenstein’s participation in the Mueller Investigation, the Clinton Cover-up, and the partisan wrangling are too visible to take him seriously.

We have learned that the FBI was not the only agency to come after Donald Trump and his team during the campaign and beyond.  We learned of the plant, mole, or spy in the campaign who was instrumental in prodding Papadopoulos to try to contact Russians, apparently without success or authorization from Trump or his leadership.  Now, we know that at least one more government “informant” (nice word for spy) attempted to infiltrate the Trump Campaign.  It appears that he was one of many that the FBI and other agencies tried to use to “Spy on Trump.”  I must ask, “Were they also spying on Hillary Clinton?”  The answer, from all I can uncover, is NO, NO WAY, NO HOW, NOPE, NOT ON YOUR LIFE…

Rosenstein’s comments made me laugh and James Clapper’s assertion makes me laugh, cry, and want to throw something.  He said that President Trump should be happy his campaign was spied on.  Take a quick break and double up in laughter at that one and before you throw something, count to ten.  His explanation was, “no one was spying on him or his people, they were looking out for meddling Russians.”  WOW!  If that were the truth then there would have been equal spying on the Clinton campaign because if there was such concern about Russian meddling would that not extend to the Democrats as well?  I’m so sorry, I keep forgetting this is not about truth, honesty, integrity, or unbiased investigation it is POLITICAL.  If he seriously thinks that “thinking” Americans will buy that he is an incredibly delusional individual.  My gut feeling is that he does not believe it, knows it is not true but believe that those with the propensity to HATE TRUMP will buy it hook line and sinker.  He thinks the public is that stupid.  That seems to be the modus operandi of the Left.  Tell a lie, loud enough, long enough, often enough, and outlandish enough and it will be believed.

I believe that President Trump is right in identifying this as “Spygate” and I believe it is worse than Watergate.  If we dig a little deeper into the imbroglio we find none other than John Brennan close to the epicenter of the scandal.  Brennan became increasingly alarmed and agitated as Donald Trump won primary after primary and it began to appear he would be the Republican nominee.  He fabricated the story that Estonia’s intelligence agency had alerted him to an intercepted phone call suggesting that Vladimir Putin was pouring mountains of money into the Trump campaign.  It has been exposed that the so-called tip was bogus if there ever was a tip.

The BBC reported on an incredible leak that Brennan had used that bogus tip and fabricated tips from British intelligence as the basis of his forming a multi-agency spy operation called an “inter-agency task force” to spy on Trump and his subordinates, which Brennan ran from the CIA.  The idea to use an old CIA source and Hillary Supporter, Stefan Halper, likely came from Brennan’s CIA.  Halper had found entrance into the Swamp and Deep State through his father-in-law, Ray Cline, whose work at the CIA was legendary.  Halper found a treasure trove of government jobs and enabled him to live his jet-setting transatlantic lifestyle.

We are fully aware of how many Obama and Hillary’s supporters occupied the higher levels of the CIA, FBI, DOJ, and Homeland.  Halper was open about his support for Clinton and opposition to Trump.  He said that he “feared” a Trump presidency and believed it would jeopardize the U.S. British relations.  Halper came up empty, to no surprise and that should indicate that there was nothing there to connect Trump or his campaign to Russian collusion but Brennan could not let it end.  Then came, phase two or three or four or twenty where they went with Alexander Downer’s tale of his boozy evening with Papadopoulos and further advance the phony Russian collusion theory.  Downer’s tale supposedly came from a diplomat and that supposedly gave it credibility.  However, if Congressman Nunes is right and the originating document for the FBI probe doesn’t even contain a reference to an official intelligence product passed to Brennan from the Australian government, then Downer’s tale is flakey at best and a blatant lie at worst.  No law enforcement or intelligence gathering agent or agency would act upon information that was so suspect and call it evidence but Brennan did.

We are told that this caused a serious diplomatic row between Australia and the United States.  I must ask, “Who resolved the conflict?”  Was it John Kerry, Susan Rice, Barack Obama? WHO?  The CIA director was briefing President Obama daily on “Russian interferences” while actively running an Anti-Trump spy ring out of Langley.  Is that what our Intelligence and Law Enforcement Agencies are supposed to be doing?  Spying for political purposes?  NO, but it is what it is and there should be immediate action to get to the bottom of this and hold all violators accountable and responsible, even if that means jail time.

Time and space will not permit me to delve into when this all began and examine how deeply Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, Loretta Lynch, and many other Democrats were involved in unethical if not illegal activities trying to STOP TRUMP.  I must once again add, “if they truly believed he had no chance and Hillary was a shoe-in, WHY BOTHER?”  We can allow the Democrats to regain control of Congress this November and guarantee a Trumped Up (no pun intended) stake burning of President Trump or we can defeat them and leave the small window of opportunity open for a bit longer.  I will VOTE NO on the Democrats and VOTE YES for the Republic.

BLOG POST 3 - Question

If Donald J. Trump and his campaign team were colluding with the Russians to get “dirt” on Hillary, what might that “dirt” be?  There has been much consternation over the allegations that Trump and his team were trying to “dig up dirt” on Hillary.  Well, if there was “no dirt” what was the concern?  Why has there been such an expression of outrage and pretended shock over the possibility of Trump colluding with the Russians, if there was “no dirt”? 

Dirt on the Clintons?  How could that be?  Bill and Hillary Clinton with “dirt” on their hands, how could that be?  Would you care to stroll down memory lane and examine some of the skeletons in their closets?  What could the Russians have that we do not already know?  Why would Trump need the Russians to help him unearth “dirt” on Hillary Clinton when the “dirt” is everywhere visible and there is little attempt to hide it.  She and Bill have enjoyed immunity to the point one would wonder if they could commit murder and get away with it?  WAIT, maybe they have.  No, I did not say, they murdered anyone but there is the strange phenomenon of people mysteriously dying or committing suicide who had supposedly had “dirt” on them or dared to publicly suggest they had committed unethical or illegal acts.

If one were to go back to their stent in Arkansas it would be virtually impossible to miss some of the scandalous shenanigans while William Jefferson Clinton was governor of that fair state.  One could sum it up with lying, greed, and serious abuse of power.  That leaves out the possibility of fraud, extortion, hush-money for sexual scandals, and more.  Whitewater with the missing billing records, the apparent sale of pardons, and dare we miss the sale of uranium to the Russians.  How about stealing Whitehouse silverware when they vacated the premises, the amassing of FBI files on Republicans, and Hillary’s involvement in covering up the “Bubba Rape” charges and accusations?  Then there is the FBI coverup of her illegal if not treasonous email scandal using a private server as Secretary of State.  Then there is “Travelgate” and a myriad of other situations, incidents, and scandals.  What would Trump need the Russians for, when we have so much already known about the Clinton corruption?  What could the Russians possibly have that was not already known or could not easily be discovered?

If the Russians had anything more than what is already known on Hillary, it must be something so valuable that had she been elected, Vladimir Putin would have “owned her”.  Putin is likely quite capable of holding his own and having his back covered to protect himself from the fate of untimely demise as has been the case of many who crossed Hillary and/or Bill.  Was there something in the Uranium One deal that would have completely shipwrecked her campaign?  What could the Russians possible have on Hillary?  What “dirt” could possibly warrant the never-ending investigation and accusations of “collusion” against Donald Trump?

Let me suggest that based on what we already know, there would be virtually nothing that would surpass the known.  Therefore, this is a complete charade and is nothing more than “sour grapes” by the Democrats and the Never Trump Crowd.  They thought they could connect Trump to the hated Russians during the campaign and that would shipwreck any hopes he had of becoming president.  If they truly believed that Hillary was a “shoe-in” to become the 45th President, why bother?  If they truly believed that Donald Trump was such a weak candidate that he would self-destruct and had a less than zero chance of winning the election, why bother?

Why waste the taxpayer’s money, except as a continuing effort to taint Donald Trump as a treasonous egotist who loves himself far more than he loves America?  Why use fraudulent intelligence (Steel Dossier) and look under every rock to find anything to taint Trump associates unless it was a desire to diminish Trump’s standing in the eyes of voters especially the swing voters who supported him?  Realistically, the Clinton and Obama supporters would not care if the Russians revealed she had committed Treason.  They would not care no matter what was revealed after all the previous 40 years have had no bearing on people’s willingness to vote Clinton, so why worry?  This whole thing falls apart and is so absurd and even laughable because the facts reveal that Hillary and her team had to pay Steele to fabricate dirt on Donald Trump while the dirt on Hillary is visible to anyone who will open their eyes.

Remember how Hillary and the DNC maneuvered to guarantee that Bernie Sanders had no chance of winning the nomination.  Remember how Hillary and her team destroyed evidence in the email scandal and conveniently lost thousands of documents.  Remember?  Remember how she and her surrogates lied to the FBI and Congress.  And, as a bit of icing on the cake REMEMBER BENGHAZI?  I do, and so do millions of other patriotic Americans and the families of those at the embassy.  Hillary, the 3 AM phone call came and you ignored it.  Then you had the audacity to sit before Congress and say, regarding those deaths, “What difference does it now make?”  WHAT DIFFERENCE?  As a Vietnam veteran, an American citizen, a Christian, a father, and a person who has worked all his life to earn a living, IT MAKES A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE TO ME.

Fellow patriots, if we allow the Democrats to regain control of Congress in November we will have completed the whitewash of the Clinton corruption, and closed the door on any hopes we have of dismantling the Deep State or draining the Swamp to any degree.  We will have lost not only the battle for Freedom but probably the war as well.  That is why I am fully invested in keeping the Democrats out of power in 2018 and beyond.  Not because I think the Republicans in Congress are so wonderful but because the Democratic Leadership is so bad.

LET’S TALK ABOUT SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE…


BLOG POST 1 - Church and State

I want to address this issue from a Constitutional perspective and from the Original Intent of the Framers and Founders.  Through the past several decades over 4,000 times the phrase “Separation of Church and State” has been invoked in legal cases.  The flawed understanding of the Original Intent of the Framers of the American Constitution has allowed for removing prayer from schools, invocations at public school sporting events, removing of the Ten Commandments from public or government buildings, and the removal of Nativity scenes from public parks and events.  Beyond that, it has been used to remove or ban several types of popular religious expressions such as “Merry Christmas.”

The Founding Father most associated with the “Separation of Church and State” is none other than Thomas Jefferson.  The phrase is well-known but its history is obscure to most.  Most people today, believe that the Constitution bans all things religious from public buildings, courtrooms, schools, and government.  If we understood the history we would come to a very different understanding of the “Original Intent” and possibly realize the damage we have done to our foundational principles as the Constitutional Republic of our Framers and Founders.

Historically the phrase was introduced in the 1500s by prominent ministers in England was present in the 1600s long before Jefferson uttered any mention of it.  If you go to the Bible, you will find that when God established the nation of Israel, He placed Moses over the civil government and Aaron over the spiritual.  2 Chronicles 26 provides an understanding of how God insisted that the two jurisdictions be kept separate.  King Uzziah’s reign lasted 52 years which was unheard of in that era for a regime to last that long.  Then in verse 16 of that chapter, we find something dramatic happening that changed everything.  The King, unlawfully entered the temple to burn incense on the altar of incense.  He decided that since he was king he had the authority and right to reign over both aspects of government, the civil and the religious.  He crossed the line, a line drawn by God Himself.  The priests in a daring act of courage withstood him but the king used his kingship to overrule them.  It was at that point that God struck him with leprosy and Uzziah fled the temple in horror and humiliation.

This precedent led to heads of State also declaring themselves as heads of the Church as well and the church was “secularized” to the hurt of its purpose and function.  The widespread atrocities that ensued were some of the most horrific in human history, often in the name of the Church and wrongly claiming to be doing God’s bidding and service.  Due to the corruption of the Church’s purpose, we find in the 1500s Bible-based ministers began to stand up to the Crown, often to their own destruction.  It was Englishman Richard Hooker who used the phrase as a call to sanity and order.  King Henry VIII wanted a divorce, but the Church refused to grant one.  The King promptly established his own National Church with him as the head and granted his own divorce.  The English Parliament passed laws as to who could or could not take the sacraments and defined the qualifications for being a minister.

Other ministers joined that cause including Reverend John Greenwood, who pioneered the church attended by many of the Pilgrims when they were still in England.  At that time Queen Elizabeth was head over both the State and the Church, and Greenwood famously declared, “there could be but one head of the church and that head was not the Queen, but Christ.”  He was executed for denying Her Majesty’s ecclesiastical supremacy, simply to the Crown he was a traitor and his acts treasonous.   The Pilgrims fled England to Holland then to America and boldly advocated for “Separation of Church and State.”  They believed, rightly, that the government had no right or authority to “compel religion, to plant churches by power, and to force a submission to ecclesiastical government by laws and penalties.”  Many of the Christian colonists had endured persecution at the hands of State leaders who had commandeered the Church.

In the American colonies ministers such as Roger Williams, John Wise, William Penn and more were strong advocates of “Separation of Church and State.”  In the development of the American colonies, we find that the SEPARATION DOCTRINE was never used to secularize the public square but quite the opposite.  They believed in SEPARATION to protect rather than ban voluntary public religious practices.  Quaker leader, Will Wood declared: “The separation of Church and State does not mean the exclusion of God, righteousness, morality, from the State.”  American Bishop Charles Galloway agreed stating: “The separation of the Church from the State did not mean the severance of the State from God or the nation from Christianity.”  Neither did Thomas Jefferson’s uses of the phrase, “Separation of Church and State.”  His letter where the phrase is used was to the Danbury Baptist: “Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should “make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” thus building a wall of separation between Church & State. Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties.”  His argument was that the Government should be prevented from establishing a national church as existed in England and elsewhere.  He was a strong advocate for our inalienable rights not the banning of all things Christian and biblical or religious from the public sector.

Eventually, our Framers and Founders placed within the First Amendment these words: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the Free Exercise thereof.”   Unfortunately, the first portion called the “Establishment Clause” is used to ban religion from all public or government properties, functions, and agencies.  The “Free Exercise Clause” is largely ignored.  If you read the wording carefully and honestly, you will realize that both clauses were pointed solely and directly at the State, not the Church.  The State is prohibited from enforcing religious conformity, and this amendment also seeks to ensure that the State would protect, not suppress, citizen’s rights of conscience and religious expression.  Jefferson reaffirmed that position repeatedly in his writings.  We have allowed the secularist to steal an inalienable right and foundational principle from us and that has led to much of the difficulty we now face in our America government and society.

I do not expect everyone to agree with me but if we want to see America Restored we MUST return to our founding principles and return to interpreting the Constitution under the light of Original Intent.

BLOG POST 2 - Corruption

I dream of a world where everyone uses the gray matter housed in the appendage on top of their shoulders for something other than a hat rack, but dreams are dreams.  I dream of an America where politicians are not vicious predators using every tool possible to destroy their opponents and advance a particular ideology or agenda, but then dreams are dreams.  I dream of an America where reason, personal responsibility, and accountability are the norm rather than entitlements and political correctness, but then dreams are dreams.  Like the song by the Everly Brothers, “All I Have To Do Is Dream”, I guess if I want that world the only viable solution is become a Rip Van Winkle and sleep it off, dreaming my life away.  However, that is not an option for me because I want more than fantasy.

If the Robert Mueller Investigation is not a ‘witch-hunt’ or ‘fishing expedition’ designed solely to find something to use against President Donald Trump then many questions need to be answered.  Why did the FBI plant a mole inside the Trump Campaign to spy on Donald Trump and his surrogates then funnel any and all information that might be useful to the Bureau?  He met with Trump advisers Carter Page and George Papadopoulos in the summer of 2016.  He had served in the Nixon, Ford, and Reagan administrations so what was it about Trump that prompted him to become a secret informant for the FBI?  He was part of a campaign embraced by the Democrats, Clintons, the DNC, the Obama Administration, and the Never Trump Republicans to ENTRAP Trump and quash his campaign and later his presidency.

I cannot say with 100% certainty that Stephen Halper, the secret informant was doing so to help Clinton but it was assuredly to hurt Trump and if he was not directly trying to help Hillary he was doing so indirectly.  For the FBI or the CIA to infiltrate a political campaign for the benefit of another campaign is both diabolical, unethical, if not illegal.  The Obama administration’s FBI began to pry into Trump long before the election was decided and from texts, memos, and emails it is clear they wanted to prevent him from winning and “just in case” they wanted a secondary plan to STOP TRUMP.  It was Halper who contacted Papadopoulos and offered the young and inexperienced campaign aide $3,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip to London supposedly to write a paper about energy in the eastern Mediterranean.  He then, suggested that he look into the Russian hacking of the Clinton e-mails prodding him to meet with anyone who might offer information.  That would then be used as an attempt to taint Donald Trump and inspire Russian collusion theories.  I find it most interesting that Halper was paid by the Department of Defense’s Office of Net Assessments $282,000 in 2016 and $129,000 in 2017.  WHY?  If you want a new word to describe political corruption it would be HALPER.

Then, the incredible collusion by the FBI with regard to the Clinton e-mail investigations and the “free passes” issued to her subordinates screams corruption and attempted political character assassination by the bureau and the DOJ.  The former FBI Director James Comey famously explained the reason no indictments were forthcoming on Hillary saying, “no reasonable prosecutor would prosecute the case.”  He said, basically, that Hillary was excused because she did not have criminal intent.  Seriously?  The Espionage Act does not require proof of mental state or intent only the act is to be considered.  He ignored the statute in order to protect Hillary, whom he fully believed would be the next president.  But, when it came to Donald Trump and Michael Flynn the Logan Act was raised and General Flynn was charged with lying to the FBI.  Hillary lied, as was documented by Comey.  Also, we know that Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills both testified to the FBI that they were UNAWARE of Hillary’s Private e-mail server.  Seriously?  They communicated with her via that mode of document transmission.  They lied, but no indictments were or are in the works.  John Podesta lied, as did most if not all the Clinton team, but no indictments.  However, with regard to anyone connected to President Trump, if they can find a charge to indict you with, they will.  Sounds like corruption, partisanship, and attempted political character assassination to me, but I’m just a lover of Freedom and want to keep America as the Free Constitutional Republic of our Founders and Framers.

I have hope that this blatant corruption and the never-ending drivel by Hillary, the finger pointing, and blame game while ignoring the failures is wearing thin with many Americans.  I am hopeful that the millennials are being turned off by the rhetoric, spin, and diatribe and want a lot less talk and a little more action.  I am hopeful that many Americans are seeing through the 90% negative coverage of the president and the flawed claims of the Democrats.  Like I said, it may be a dream but if you don’t dream it you will never pursue that prize.  I have seen reports that the generic ballot lead that the Democrats have reportedly held in the polls has virtually vanished.  Recently, the RCP “poll of polls” reported a high-water mark on the generic ballots for Republicans and the Democrats held their smallest advantage to date.  The Democrats were listed at 45% almost matching their lowest at the beginning of the Trump presidency.  People are seeing the positives of the Trump administration in terms of accomplishments, many of which are either not reported or under-reported, but becoming visible and realized by many average Americans.

Someone said, “Polls only tell you how people choose when they’re forced to choose.  They do not tell you who’ll get off their duffs or couches and wait in line to vote.”  The generic polls indicate the overall mood of the country and it is not a massive anti-Trump sentiment as the Democrats, MSM, Hollywood, and Never Trumpers would want you to believe.  Last year Donald Trump was at 37% approval and now he is at 43.6% or higher depending on which poll you read.  Bill Clinton and Barack Obama were both in the mid-40’s approval before their own mid-term elections and the Republican wave soaked both of them.  Will this be the reverse or will it be that the Republicans, at least hold their own in the elections?  I hope it is a Republican landslide but would be thrilled with the Republicans defeating enough Democrats to hold their own.

Corruption needs to be exposed and those guilty need to be held accountable.  America, it is time that we wake up and demand that our country and the bureaucracies and agencies of the federal government be returned to non-partisan and ethical moorings acting in an unbiased manner in all things.  It is time that we demand our country back from the oligarchical politicians and once again have a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people.”  Will you join me in November in preserving America?

WHAT IS AT STAKE IN NOVEMBER 2018???


BLOG POST 1 - MID-TERMS

If you make the mid-term elections this year simply a referendum on President Donald Trump you allow a narrow focus to become your reality rather than viewing the Big Picture.  It is a referendum on the president but it is also a referendum on the Constitution and our Representative Democracy of Representative Government as designed and established by the Framers and Founders.  There is far more at stake than Donald J. Trump’s presidency.  In a very real sense, this is about America, our liberties and freedoms as a people, and which road we take in 2019 and beyond.

If a person allows hatred for Donald Trump to inspire them to vote in a way that allows the Democrats to win or they withhold their vote, that action damages our Republic.  It may or may not be the last nail in the coffin of Freedom but it will severely damage our secured inalienable rights under the Constitution.  The Second Amendment is in the cross-hairs of the Liberal Leftists, especially those in the Democratic Party.  They have openly vowed they will seek to pass more stringent and restrictive “gun control” laws and some of them are making that a key plank in their campaigns.  Some of the Democrats have announced they will see not only a “gun ban” of certain types of firearms but will try to find ways to strip us of our Second Amendment Rights.  They will seek to use the courts to rewrite and/or reinterpret the wording of the Constitution moving away from ORIGINAL INTENT to a modernized version to their liking.  They have already begun waging war on our First Amendment Right of Freedom of Speech through censorship.  One of the ways they seek to achieve that goal is via political correctness in labeling everything not liberal as HATE SPEECH.  Universities and Colleges, the media, Hollywood, businesses, and more are willing participants in that activism as are social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google.  That is what is at stake in November 2018.

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have announced their desire to repeal the Trump Tax Cuts and return us to the exorbitantly high personal income tax percentages especially for those who are higher wage earners.  They have vowed to make Obamacare virtually untouchable and continue the systematic destruction of both our healthcare and health insurance industries.  They are staunchly devoted to OPEN BORDERS and defending illegals even those who have committed crimes and gangs such as MS13 have received their defense wat the expense of the rights of the baby in the womb and the American citizen who are endangered by those terrorists.  They seek to force us to accept Sharia Law in various sectors of cities claiming that to do otherwise would be unconstitutional and Islamophobic.  If you disagree with them you are deemed RACIST and they are comfortable using whatever governmental agency to destroy the offenders of their ideological stances.  That is what is at stake in November 2018.

The Supreme Court and all the lower Federal Courts are in play for we will assuredly have one-three retirements from the SCOTUS or due to age the possible deaths of some current members.  If the Leftist Liberal Democrats regain control of the Senate, any conservative or constitutional nominee that the President names would be doomed to failure.  His or her qualifications would be a moot point for the Democrats would block them at every turn.  They would be seeking to force the president to concede defeat and nominate a liberal judicial activist to solidify their hold on the Republic and enhance their pursuit of “fundamental transformation.”  That is what is at stake in November 2018.

Any progress made with regard to North Korea would be wiped out because Kim Jong-Un would know that we have returned to the squiggly red line and milquetoast Congressional leadership.  That would embolden him to aggressively pursue his nuclear program and embolden terrorist around the world to escalate their activities.  Would the president try to stem that tide?  Of course, but without Congressional support, he would be extremely limited in what he is able to achieve.  Iran would continue their pursuit of nuclear weapons and the climate of the Middle-East would be made much more dangerous.  Israel who is virtually our only ally in the region would be even more in the cross-hairs of those desiring to annihilate them and remove all trace of Israel from the face of the earth.  That would not only make the Middle-East more volatile but would endanger the entire world, bring the prospects of WWIII into view.  That is what is at stake in November 2018.

State’s Rights would become endangered as the Leftist Liberal Democrats seek to neuter the States and empower the Federal Government to the point that it is effectively an oligarchy or tyranny by political party.  Our system of elections would become an endangered species as the Leftist would seek to destroy our Electoral College system and replace it with one where California and New York literally determine the outcome of all national elections.  The presidency would be severely damaged for they would immediately take action using real, or fabricated material to IMPEACH if not INDICT the President.  That would jeopardize all future presidents and make it unlikely that many would be able to complete their terms of office.  America as the Free Constitutional Republic is what this election is all about.  That is what is at stake in November 2018.

The question I have for you and me, is WHAT ARE WE WILLING TO RISK?  If you believe that the Democrats returning to power would simply be a temporary bump in the road, you will likely vote in a way that enhances their chances of returning to power.  If you see, as I believe I do, the real danger to the Republic, our Constitution, and National Security and Sovereignty then you will VOTE NO on the Leftist and VOTE in a manner that ensures their defeat.  If you value your Constitutional and Inalienable Rights you have only one choice in November.  I pray that enough Americans will become energized and awakened to see a massive turnout of conservative and constitutionalist casting ballots in November.  If that transpires we will continue our window of opportunity to LIMIT the government’s size and scope, have a chance to do some swamp draining and deep state dismantling.  IT IS UP TO US!  What is your choice?

DEMANDING LEGISLATION TO SOLVE A HEART PROBLEM IS A TRAGIC MISTAKE…


BLOG POST 2 - Heart

I wish I could say that the school shootings, violence, terrorism, and mass murders were simply evil or the result of a mental or emotional disorder.  They are but the matter is much more complicated than that, in my view.  I wish we could take the simplistic approach and pass some piece of legislation that would rectify the problem, keep those with the propensity to do those kinds of acts from obtaining a firearm or any weapon of choice to perpetuate their evil, but we cannot.  It is not that simple.  Benjamin Franklin’s warning resonates with me in today’s troubling times and in light of the continued atrocities that we are witnessing and enduring in today’s troubled world.  He warned, “Those who give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty or Safety.”  That flies in the face of the increasing demand that those in Congress pass some new law restricting, banning, or confiscating firearms.  The claims of the less informed and those who do not seem to be using any cognitive reason that we can “Legislate Safety or Sanity” are misguided at best and diabolical or devious at worst.  Simply, they are wrong!  You can attack me for that statement if you choose but if you carefully and thoroughly think this through you will realize that Morality Cannot Be Legislated.

Some take offense when I use the Bible to present my thoughts regarding the situations we now face in America and much of the world.  If you do, then you may want to skip past the next paragraph or two because I believe the Bible gives a clear understanding of what is happening in today’s society.  In 2 Timothy 3, we are told that in the “last days” and I believe these are those days, there will be difficult, perilous, and/or troubling and dangerous times.  Some would argue that we have always had dangerous times but I must argue, not to the degree we see it today with the mass-murders becoming more and more numerous.  There is a reason that these times are perilous and dangerous as well as difficult on that front and that is a conditioned attitude and mindset that we have been generating for at least two or three generations.  The “ME” Generation rooted in the ideology of Entitlement is a major problem.

Recently, another situation occurred in my home state where a man came from another state to the home of his estranged wife, their children, and her boyfriend and murdered them all.  That is beyond evil and cannot be adequately addressed as a mental or emotional disorder.  It is evil.  It does express a problem emotionally and even mentally but it goes beyond that.  I believe that the root cause is evil or sin but the conditioned mindset pervasive in our society today is “ME” or “What I want and what I believe I am Entitled.”  When a person believes they are the center of their universe and become as 2 Timothy 3 declares, “lovers of self” to the point they devalue the lives of anyone not fulfilling their demands, we are in dangerous and perilous times.  When people can become driven by addiction, money, and their lives morph into treachery becoming irreconcilable, we are in dangerous times.  That cannot be solved with legislation, banning, restricting, or confiscating guns.  It is a heart, moral, soulish problem that can only be rectified by a change of heart, mind, and attitude.  We must deal with the root of the problem not the superficial, as is being clamored for in the demand for new and more stringent “gun control” laws to be enacted.

The Bible warns in 2 Timothy 3 that “evil men will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”  That is a condition quite visible today, evil is becoming more bold and blatant and deception is more pronounced with each passing day in our society.  What is the root of the problem?  You may totally disagree with my assessment but I believe it can be found in the condition revealed in our “snowflake” and “politically correct” society being promoted.  When you teach the young that they must be given “safe spaces” lest they are offended you engender this type of mentality and attitude that spawns the murderous outbursts we have seen.  NO, I am not saying each “snowflake” will become a mass murder but that is the breeding ground from which this tree grows.  When you teach people and allow them to become enamored with the idea that they have a RIGHT not to be OFFENDED you create a condition that breeds an intolerant and intolerable world.

The lack of DISCIPLINE in our society is a breeding ground for this type of lawlessness.  Coupled that with the failure to discipline, hold accountable, teach that any ideas, thoughts or actions contrary to the desire of the “snowflake” prevents them from growing up and becoming responsible adults.  Adults who understand that everything is not FAIR and everyone will not AGREE with them or cater to their wishes and desires.  The fruition of that type of the mentality of ENTITLEMENT and ME, ME, ME produces conditions where a man can seemingly without hesitation murder an estranged wife, their children, and her new boyfriend, then kill himself.  Why?  Because he believes that it is wrong for anyone to withhold from him what he desires.  Just because you desire something does not mean that you deserve it, can demand it, or expect it.  Your rights end where another’s rights begin.  The damage we are doing to the next generation and many of the present generation in allowing academia to cater to the idea that anyone can or should demand a world free of disagreement or offense is dangerous and shares much of the blame for the current condition in our society, not the gun or our 2nd Amendment Rights.  The increase in this kind of murderous behavior should reveal that it is not the gun that is the problem but the individual and something in society.  Turn back the clock to previous generations and realize that we had guns in virtually every home but did not see the type of evil murderous activity we see today.  Again, 2 Timothy 3 speaks to that issue and reveals that is it a condition of the last days, but before someone blames God it is a condition that has arisen out of our failure to exercise discipline and insist upon personal responsibility and accountability.

I raised my children to understand that not everyone would agree with them.  I taught them, as I was taught that you do not have to be offended but you can choose to allow something to offend you.  I taught them, as I was taught, that you must be personally responsible and accountable and if you break the rules or laws you have to pay the penalty for that action.  I taught them, as I was taught, that there are no free rides and no one is entitled to anything they did not earn.  I taught them, as I was taught, to respect women and other people and be understanding of differences of opinion as much as is possible.  I also taught them that they had a God-given and Constitutional Right to protect and defend their own lives, property, and their families.  If we were to return to an Academia that taught the core principles of education rather than being indoctrination factories we could take great strides in rectifying this condition prevalent in today’s society.  Additionally, we must restore the FAMILY for as the family deteriorates and the influence of the father is reduced the more likely this type of activity becomes.  We also, need to follow the prescription of 2 Chronicles 7:14 – “If my people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Patriots, we MUST prevent the Leftist Liberal Democrats from advancing their “toxic liberalism” and erode our Constitutional and Inalienable Rights.  We MUST NOT allow them to regain control of Congress or the White House if we hope to preserve our Republic and make any strides in dealing with this type of problem in our troubled and dangerous world.  You may say, “Well the Republicans and Democrats are the same.”  In many ways you are correct but there is enough difference to inspire me to VOTE NO on the Democrats and VOTE YES on the Republicans as an effort to preserve our Republic and have any hope of Restoration.

REMEMBERING ON MEMORIAL DAY…


MEMORIAL DAY

I remember 1967 as if it were yesterday when I served my tour of duty in Vietnam.  When I think of my brothers in arms who did not come back home, my heart breaks and when I think of the people of South Vietnam and the brutal slaughter they endured at the hands of the Viet Cong and NVA while we were there as well as after we withdrew my heart breaks.  When I think of all the Wars and Conflicts in which American servicemen and women have paid the ultimate sacrifice I am saddened and a sense of gratitude floods my heart.  They paid the ultimate sacrifice so that you and I could enjoy Freedom.  That is something that must never be forgotten!

I’ve had people ask about Vietnam and wonder why I don’t talk about it other than in generalities.  I have had people tell me their loved ones would never talk about the War, whichever war they had been in and wondered why.  I believe I can answer that, although I make no pretense that I can speak for everyone.  One of the reasons that those who have been in War do not like to talk about their experiences is PAIN.  If they talked about it they would have to relive the experience and most want to forget not to remember.  Although those who served knew and know they were fighting for Freedom, the pain of knowing you took another human being’s life is there.  Most would do it again because of their love for Family and Country and believe that Freedom is worth whatever sacrifice that must be made.

When I was a young and those coming back from Korea were silent about what they saw and did, I wondered why?  Some of them had quirks about their personality and demeanor that was not there before they went to war.  The term to describe it then was, “shell shock”, whereas today most call it “PTSD”.  Those men lived with the memory of the war day and night and could not shake it and it made everything thing in life difficult for them.  In my own experience, I was headed to potential alcoholism and the unsettledness I was experiencing was tormenting but few knew my pain.  About a year and a half after I came home, I received Jesus as my personal savior and that transformed my life and brought a healing and peace I did not think was possible.  I don’t talk about Vietnam other than that I was there and only generalized tidbits of that time not that I am ashamed that I served but see no redeeming purpose in my reliving those times.  I have found that most who saw combat do not want to talk about their experience.  Some do, and that is therapeutic for them.

Today, Memorial Day, I ask that everyone take a moment to Remember the Fallen and to allow Gratitude to rise within your heart for their sacrifice.  They were not afforded the privilege of living and enjoying the Freedom that we have today.  They did not get to see their children grow up and hold their grandchildren in their arms.  They did not get to build a life after the War as we have been allowed to do.  THEY DIED that we might LIVE.  No, they cannot save our souls but they fought to preserve our liberty and freedom.  I am THANKFUL for their sacrifice and all who fought and served in any capacity.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! 

I will not say Happy Memorial Day but THANK YOU to those who served and died and pray that everyone will never fail to REMEMBER on this day.  Enjoy the remainder of your long weekend and know that you have that privilege because of those who paid with their lives to purchase and preserve your Freedom.

THE CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION HAD ITS SHARE OF DIFFICULTIES…


BLOG POST 5 - Convention

The more I study history the more I am amazed and inspired by the reality that the men who hammered out the agreement to formulate our Constitution and then the Bill of Rights were ordinary men with problems, quirks, and difficulties, not supermen as some make them.  They were men of like passions, problems, idiosyncrasies and personal failures.  Yet, they were men who listened, studied, prayed and found solutions through intelligence and determination.  They inspire me because they were not all super-brains but men who saw a problem and wanted to fix it and leave to posterity a nation that could survive the test of time and remain a limited government and free as a Republic.  They inspire me because they were DETERMINED and REFUSED TO GIVE UP!

However, there were some little known and surprising facts about the delegates. Some of what I share could cause some to question their wisdom and for others, it will be a comfort knowing that they had kinks in the armor like the rest of us, yet prevailed in establishing the best system of government modern man has known.  Due to the fact that several of them met untimely deaths some have suggested that there was a “curse of the Constitution” at work.  I heard a sermon years ago about the Kennedy curse and the preacher attempted to take Joseph Kennedy’s trafficking in alcohol the basis of that curse.  I do not believe there was a “Constitutional Curse” because of the hand of God I see in the finished product.

Alexander Hamilton was killed by Aaron Burr in 1804 in a duel but he was not the first to have a duel with a political rival.  In 1802, North Carolina delegate Richard Spaight was mortally wounded in a duel with Congressman John Stanly.  Pennsylvania delegate Gouverneur Morris died in 1816 after a ghastly self-surgery where he unsuccessfully attempted to dislodge a urinary tract blockage with a piece of whalebone.  There were others but anger and lack of good judgment cost them their lives.  Yet, those men were key players in the formation of our new Republic. 

The smallest state, Rhode Island was possibly the most independent of the thirteen original states and boycotted the convention because of their distrust of a powerful federal government.  That is Amazing, because today, that Democrat stronghold supports a massive federal bureaucracy which limits state’s power and authority.  That rankled even the incredibly temperate and diplomatic George Washington and he wrote in 1787, “Rhode Island… still perseveres in that impolitic, unjust, and one might add without much impropriety scandalous conduct, which seems to have marked all her public councils of late.”  It was only after the promise that the Bill of Rights would be included did Rhode Island become the thirteenth state to ratify the Constitution on May 29, 1790, more than a year after George Washington was sworn in as president.

Some of the biggest names of the Revolutionary War were absent from the convention, yet their influence was felt in a very significant manner.  Thomas Jefferson called the Constitutional Convention delegates “an assembly of demigods.”  Was he just being full of himself?  Not really for Jefferson was in Paris serving as minister to France and longed for our Republic to be secure and viable. John Adams was also abroad, serving as minister to Great Britain.  Samuel Adams, John Hancock, and Patrick Henry were absent as well.  Yet, those men ultimately supported the formulation of a federal constitution but contended for some modifications.  Jefferson, Hancock, and Henry all were staunch limited government advocates and Adams distrusted Big Government but felt that a federal government was necessary to preserve the unity and allow the new republic to survive.

It took weeks to achieve a quorum.  Attendance was not much better than some in Congress today and although James Madison boasted that he never left the proceedings from more than a casual fraction of an hour the others were not so punctual.  Nineteen of the seventy-four delegates never attended a single session and of the 55 delegates who did show up in Philadelphia, only 30 stayed the full four months.  New Hampshire’s delegates arrived two months late and by that time two of New York’s three delegates had left in opposition to the proceedings.  That left Alexander Hamilton behind as the state’s only representative and prompted George Washington to write that the Constitution was signed by “Eleven states and Colonel Hamilton.”

Not all the delegates that attended the convention signed the Constitution.  There were 55 delegates who participated in the proceedings there were only 39 that signed the document.  Fourteen had already left Philadelphia and were not present at the signing and only the delegate from Delaware, John Dickinson had a proxy sign for him.  Three delegates – Elbridge Gerry of Massachusetts, Edmond Randolph and George Mason of Virginia were sufficiently dissatisfied with the document they refused to put their names on the document.

The iconic opening of the Constitution, “We the People of the United States” was not included in the early drafts.  It read, “We the people of the States of New Hampshire, Massachusetts…” and so forth.  A five-person Committee of Style offered this present wording. Those men were Hamilton, Madison, Morris, William Samuel Johnson, and Rufus King.  Morris is believed to be responsible for composing much of the final text including the preamble.

The man who handwrote the Constitution was not a delegate.  That was none other than Jacob Shallus, the assistant clerk of the Pennsylvania State Assembly and was paid the sum of $30 and given just two days to write most of the documents 4,543 words on four sheets of vellum parchment.  His handwriting was exquisite, Shallum wasn’t totally flawless.  Between the first article and the delegate signatures on the Constitution’s final page is an “errata” paragraph listing some of the minor errors he had made along with their corrections.

Those me were not without flaw but the work they produced has proven to be one of the most inspiring systems of government known to man.  Our Constitution has demonstrated a timelessness that is nothing short of amazing and if we allow it to be altered without going through the proper process of Amendments ratified by the States we do it, the Framers, ourselves, and our posterity a disservice.  That is another reason that I oppose the Leftist Liberal Progressive Socialist Agenda and work diligently to defeat the Liberal Democrats in every election.  Freedom is too precious to allow it to be trampled underfoot by those who do not treasure and appreciate what we have in our Republic.
