We live in such a toxic world politically that the Diversity Chief of the Department of Defense is allowed to write scathing hate articles and say that she is “Exhausted with White People.”  Diversity?  Maybe that is the redefined practice of what most of us thought diversity was supposed to mean.  But, alas, we are living in the Unicorn World of la la land in 2022 and only the chosen definitions and ideologies of the toxic liberals are acceptable. 

The incessant, inane, and insane rhetoric about the imminent danger of Climate Change, Global Warming, or Climate Disruption and the demand that we immediately give up our guns, trash our combustion-powered fossil fuel-driven vehicles, and Go Green keeps meeting reality.  God, the Creator of All Things, will not be forced into a box.  Recently, I read a report that asked the question, “Where have all the tropical storms gone?”  It was referring to the strange absence of the normal amount of such storms.

Well, of course, it must be Climate Change, right?  Wait, that will not fit the narrative of the increasing horrific killer storms being produced because evil man is using fossil fuels.  In May the NOAA predicted an above-average number of tropical storms and hurricanes.  In their words, “the ongoing La Nina, above-average Atlantic temperatures set the stage for a very busy storm season.” 

The prediction was that we would see 14 to 21 named storms (with winds 39 miles per hour or higher).  They projected that we would see 6 to 10 hurricanes (winds of 74 miles per hour or higher), and 3 to 6 major hurricanes (category 3, 4, or 5 with winds of 111 miles per hour or higher.)  Remember the hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30 each year.  Instead of the above-average number of storms we have had a very quiet storm season.  That is not to say we have had none, but less than normal.

Please understand, that I do not want to see storms and damage, but it is ridiculous to insist that we can predict the weather or near-term climate and that is even more difficult for long-term weather trends.  The cyclical nature of our climate continues to defy the so-called scientific certainty that what we have is due to Climate Change and will only increase year by year. 

However, that is not really what I want to address in this topic of Redefining Reality.  I have, for a very long time, been convinced that America is drifting into a moral abyss that leads to destruction.  I know, I know, I am putting on my preacher hat in the minds of some, but what I see is what I see. 

I believe there are answers to the issues that we are facing politically, economically, socially, morally, and even spiritually in America.  I do not, and this will disturb some, believe that we can fix the problem politically.  By that, I do not mean that we should not seek to restore order and limit government through the electoral process.  We most assuredly should.  However, draining the swamp and dismantling the deep state is not electorally possible, in my view.  You may adamantly disagree.

I have been thinking along this line for some time, and recently Messianic Jewish Rabbi, Jonathan Cahn authored a fascinating book addressing some of the issues I will mention in brief.  If I gave you his outline and it would express succinctly what I have been musing on for a long time and do so much more concisely.  But I will not, and suggest that getting his book, “The Return of the Gods.”  The gods of which he writes are with a small ‘g.’

Long before, I saw the rabbi’s book, I contemplated the decline of numerous institutions in America.  I grew up in an era when if a girl got pregnant, she and the man who impregnated her were expected to get married.  I grew up in an era when nudity on television and in public was not acceptable.  I grew up in an era when prayers were offered at the beginning of each school day along with the pledge of allegiance.  I grew up in an era when the Bible was not a foreign object for schools and when the ten commandments were not tossed aside in the public square.  I grew up in a time when the news was not totally invested in promoting a particular political ideology and functioning as a political propagandist. 

What happened?  In my childhood and teen years, even in my early adult life, marriage was considered honorable and two-parent families were the norm, not the exception.  Divorce was frowned upon, and discipline was still administered in the home and even in public school.  I had an audience with the board of education applied to my fundament more than once during my scholastic journey through public school.  Sometimes, I am not sure who was teaching whom, but I graduated.

Rabbi Cahn specifically cites the removing organized prayer from the public schools as the crack in the door for America’s drift away from God and drift toward paganism and influence by the dark principalities and powers.  I believe he is right.  Over four decades ago, I preached and taught that America was loosening her moral moorings and devaluing God’s influence and that was being evidenced in allowing governmental actions affecting our ability to fully exercise our religious freedoms.  I did not specifically cite prayer, but it was in the broad stroke of my brush.

The sexual revolution of the 1960s spoke of our shift from the moral principles of the Bible to a physical gratification mode.  It, to me, suggested that we were redefining our biblical views and even in the 1970s and 80s were seeing a clamor for ‘tolerance and acceptance’ and drifting from moral absolutes.  I watched as church adherents adopted philosophies that demanded more openness to ‘new ideas’ religiously.  That was, in my world, a response to the overt legalism of many within the denomination or movement I was a part of.

We began slowly to see and hear things on television, on the movie screen, in print, and in public that, at one time shocked us, and now we are bothered by them.  We have become anesthetized (numbed) to the use of profanity, nudity, perversion, and overtly using sex to sell products and promote ideas.  We shifted to a world where the perfected physique was sought at all costs.  The new ideal was that we had to be Mr. Atlas or Miss Universe to be acceptable and we shifted from worshipping God as the creation and celebrating our uniqueness to seeking to alter God’s creation.

That has led us to perversion, gender blending, openness to transhumanism, the deification of the physical, and a glorification of the sensual.  There was a term back a few years ago, “If it feels good do it.”  That idea permeated much of our society, and we have accepted and exposed our children to things that distort their view of God, life, marriage, and morality.  We opened the door and are paying an extremely high price for our laxity. 

Years ago, I preached from a verse that Rabbi Cahn used as his catalyst and did not carry it to the extent he did.  I made it personal, and he made it national.  The Scripture was Matthew 12:45 as Jesus used the parable or story about the spirit being cast out and wandering about finding no rest.  That spirit went back to the house and found it swept and in order and went and found seven spirits more wicked than itself and brought them to the person and his state was worse than before. 

My point was if you come to Christ and then drift from him and a principle in physics and life is that if something is filled with one thing it is emptied of another.  If you fill a room with light it is emptied of the dark.  If you fill a glass with water, you empty it of air.  In your hearts, if we fill ourselves full of God then the influence of the devil diminishes.  However, if you stop praying, stop meditating on God’s Word, and stop worshipping God, the very nature of man is to fill that void with something.  What happens is we become more susceptible to the influence of the devil, principalities, and powers.  If we seek God and turn to Him, we are enabled to resist the devil and the devil will flee because he is no match for God.

In America, I believe we have been emptying ourselves and our society of God, the Bible, the Gospel, and His influence, and when that transpired the diabolical found fertile ground and has crept in.  Now, it is not slowly eroding our culture it is traveling at the speed of light and destroying everywhere.  That is why I believe we cannot fix this politically, but it must be addressed spiritually. 

I am praying for an outpouring of God and that every parent will seek to teach and train their children in biblical precepts and principles and turn to God with a whole heart and become epistles known and read.  I pray for churches to once again, if they are not, preach the clear precepts of the Bible and warn of the dangers of drifting from God’s Word.  Come out from among them and be separate is not to isolate but to be distinctly different in this world.  Present reality to the redefined world we are being forced to accept.

That title makes room for an article akin to what I heard a pastor declare years ago.  He took his text from an abbreviated quote from Romans 3:2 – “Much every way…”  He said that is what my message today will be, “Much every way” and it was. 

Let me return to focusing on the open door in America and the disaster that I foresee.  I have had an inkling in my mind and heart that shortages either natural or manufactured are looming on the horizon.  I believe that some nefarious players on the stage of politics in 2022-2023 want chaos to be the norm.  Paranoia and fear are often political assets to sway elections in a particular direction.  Painting reality with the brush of perception they are twisting the truth, distorting factual data, and causing angst in the hearts of the susceptible. 

With the draconian actions, we have endured due to COVID-19, we have watched many small businesses go belly up and throw in the towel.  Lifetime dreams and decades of labor became refuse (trash) in the wake of governmental actions that have yet to be justified with any empirical data to support them.  We have watched lockdowns and lockouts that have done great damage if not crippled many aspects of our economy, educational system, healthcare system, and employment.  The ease with which it transpired still confounds me.

There are many questions about the virus and our response that remain unanswered.  Recently over 400 medical doctors united to declare a crisis over COVID vaccines and recommended they cease immediately.  They said, “We declare that there is an international medical crisis due to the diseases and death co-related to the administration of products known as COVID-19 vaccines.”  Research from Johns Hopkins University and Harvard University found vaccines could be up to ninety-eight times as dangerous for children compared to COVID-19.  They said that negative reactions to the vaccines have been alarmingly higher than any other vaccine and that is worldwide. 

We have observed the lack of supply due to energy prices, government regulations, and greed.  Yes, there is enough blame to be spread widely and should be spread.  I use the word spread not as in butter on toast but the stuff in the barnyard.  The stench is telling and yet, it continues and some in Washington have suggested that the pain we are feeling is a good result.  They are salivating over the prospects of forcing Americans to transition to Green Energy and away from oil and gas.

I like alternative energy when it is practical and affordable.  However, I do not like it when compliance is coerced, cost-prohibitive, and not yet sustainable.  That makes as much sense as playing with a venomous snake.  Just because the month is December does not mean the stream is frozen or frozen enough to cross.  Usually, allowing things to take their natural course is the most prudent pathway.  Research, development, and demand will dictate when or if we make their desired transition.  Global Warming or Climate Change is not settled science and destroying lives and believing you are saving the planet is not wise nor moral.

I read a report from May of this year, where the World Food Program chief David Beasley sounded the alarm that there will be catastrophic global food shortages in 2023.  I have suggested that on numerous occasions, not from a scientific position but a spiritual one.  Some will discount that and chant, ‘religious nut.’  Go ahead, but Mr. Beasley’s affirmation of what some of us have been suggesting should get your attention.

He cited fertilizer shortages due to the Russia-Ukraine war.  He said, “It is going to be a crisis beyond anything we’ve seen in our lifetime.”  That sounds ominous.  We have already experienced numerous shortages in America, most of the caused by the ludicrous policies of this administration.  However, if we have a global food shortage, it will impact not only food but every aspect of life.  The chaos produced will result in marauding hordes roaming neighborhoods, stealing, looting, maiming, and even killing.  It could easily translate to cannibalism.  I know, that is over the top, right?  Not if you study famines in history.

When you cause people to fear not having anything to eat, you create a state of unrest, that will translate into the reality that no one and no home will be safe.  If the push to disarm law-abiding citizens continues and is implemented, even partially, millions will be left utterly defenseless.  There will not be enough police to stem the tide and in many areas, there will be no response from the police due to political policies.  That opens the door for more government control through actions that would further restrict us and endanger us. 

Mr. Beasley suggested that before the Russia-Ukraine war there were over 175 million people in danger of facing food shortages and now that has escalated to almost 250 million and over 50 million are now hearing the knock of famine at their door. 

I saw another article that reported that the winter wheat crop in America was the smallest since 1963.  The rice harvest in California is one-half the normal crop.  The tomato harvest was over a million tons less than normal.  The corn harvest is the worst in over a decade.  There were many more and 75% of the farmers acknowledged that the drought is crippling their harvests.  Beef production is down in some areas, such as Texas by as much as 5 percent.  It is not just in the United States but a phenomenon being experienced worldwide.

What happens if we have another pandemic or an alarming resurgence of the one, we have been facing?  What will happen if those who are seeking to force compliance with the New Green Deal and the myriad of other economic, political, social, educational, medical, and spiritual mandates that they propose, WIN in November?  If you genuinely believe that abortion should be universally available for any person, for any reason, and at any time, and you believe in the ideological position of the PC World, you will find my position anathema. 

We are seeing gas prices falling at the pumps in a timely fashion leading up to the November elections.  That is amazing since this president insisted that he could do nothing about the prices and now that they are being lowered, he is taking credit.  That is nonsensical and those who believe it are engaging in non-thinking. 

With the almost psychotic devotion and determination to force the world to comply with the Green agenda, what would make anyone think that after November the prices will not skyrocket?  If those now in power retain power, you can bet the farm that we will see the $7-10 per gallon prices they giddily longed for.  They are attempting to manipulate prices because everyone, even their devotees were feeling the pinch.  Something had to be done, or they were certain to get a shellacking in the election. 

This administration and the liberal party are pushing their chips to the center of the table in an all-out attempt to buy votes, create enough fear and paranoia, and engender enough vitriolic hate that they can win.  Some will refuse to vote out of their unmovable hatred of the previous president.  Some will refuse to vote out of fear of being targeted by the government or rabid activists on the Left.  Some will refuse to vote because they are disgusted with the process.  If we do not ALL exercise our constitutional rights, we endanger the Republic. 

I believe we are in a precarious position nationally and it would not take much to light the fuse sending America into a state of civil unrest that would guarantee direct intervention by the federal government.  I would not be surprised to see another virus before November.  I would not be surprised to see gas prices well below the $3 mark, possibly the mid-$2 range.  I would not be surprised to see indictments of key Republicans.  I would not be surprised to see more payoffs of various debts, even attempts to guarantee jobs and wages.  What I am saying, is NOTHING would surprise me in the attempts of politicians to maintain or increase control. 

America, God gave us the pathway to freedom, and we have largely ignored it.  It is time that we restore our moral moorings, strengthen the nuclear family, and pay attention to what is actually happening.  We can no longer allow knee-jerk responses where emotional reactions and personality preferences determine elections.  We must make the Constitution and for me the Bible, our foundational guide.  America can be saved, but only with God’s help and our commitment to the foundational principles of our Republican System of Government.

For all of those who might not like Country Music, please be patient with me as I unwrap this thought and present it to you.  It will have nothing to do with the song and I will not play it, but a line from it expresses a reality, warning, and danger for America and our Republic.

The song was by Hank Thompson and released in 1956, back when America was much different.  It had nothing to do with politics or with America or any government.  The title was, “Blackboard of My Heart.”  The line to which I refer is, “…tears have washed I love you from the blackboard of my heart.  It’s too late to clean the slate and make another start…” 

Now, let me unwrap my thoughts and how this relates to America.  The warnings about threats to our Republic and Republican system of government began at the announcement of the Constitutional Convention that we were a Republic.  Sadly, too many have failed to heed those warnings, and, in the process, we ceded our responsibilities of oversight to professional politicians and political elitists.  We did that to our own hurt. 

For decades, we have enjoyed the prosperity and freedom to largely pursuing our lives and purposes without feeling significantly threatened by the ominous overreach of the increasingly growing central government.  Too many were living unaffected lives and felt that the small infringements on our liberties and freedoms were deemed somewhat innocuous political shenanigans but not major threats. 

A warning in the Song of Solomon 2:15 regarding the ‘little foxes’ being the ones that spoil the vine.  The vine in America’s case is our system of government and our freedoms and liberties expressed in our inalienable rights.  We considered these incursions and infringements by the federal government a nuisance but not a serious threat to our system of government and our freedom.  All who thought that are now discovering the wrongness of that attitude and the results of ‘letting politics be handled by the politicians.’

In my early years and until just a few years ago, I would never have envisioned an America that would have more Armed Bureaucrats than U.S. Marines.  James Madison famously and insightfully warned, “A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive will not long be safe companions to liberty.” 

Do you recall that just a few years ago there was a bizarre action by the various bureaus of our American government to amass weapons and ammunition?  Many of us, beat the drum of warning and asked “WHY?”  We received evasive and ambiguous answers and discovered that we were on the government’s watch list for our questioning.  Again, “WHY?”  Why would they need the weapons and ammunition and why would our questioning that action makes us a threat?

Before I continue, I address Hank Thompson’s song and why it made me think of America’s clear and present danger.  I believe that, if there was a time, and I believe there was, that Democrats had any love for America it has been washed away.  I have talked to some resolute adherents to the Liberal Agenda who wept crocodile tears over the slowness of the transition in America.  They have no love for America as founded but desire a Socialist, Globalist, Politically Correct America. 

Their tears made me realize that, if that mentality is pervasive in the followers of the liberal, progressive mind, then, “It is too late to clean the slate and make another start.”  If their ideological desire has become who they are, we may have no electoral pathway to restoration. 

The data available is that the IRS stockpiled 4,500 guns and over 5 million rounds of ammunition. Those included 621 shotguns, 539 long-barreled rifles, and 15 submachine guns.  Again, WHY?  What in the name of sanity could the Internal Revenue Service need with those weapons and especially ‘automatic weapons – submachine guns’?  But the story did not end there.

The VA (Veterans Administration) purchased 11 million rounds of ammunition. That calculates to about 2,800 rounds for each of their officers.  WHY?  They also purchased camouflage uniforms, riot helmets and shields, and specialized image enhancement devices.  Why would the VA need those?  WHY?  Again, asking questions places one on the ‘watch list’ and deems them a threat.

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHS) purchased over 4 million rounds and 1,300 guns including 5 submachine guns and 189 automatic firearms for the Office of Inspector General.  WHY?  The Social Security Administration obtained 800,000 rounds for their special agents along with armor and guns.  The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) amassed weapons and ammunition and the Smithsonian now has over 620 armed special agents. 

With the new 87,000-armed IRS agents who must be willing to use deadly force one must ask, are we nearing a massive action by the federal government that will be nothing short of martial law?  Will all these bureaucrats, armed to the teeth be part of a government action to attempt finally and fully to disarm the law-abiding citizens?  Is this a precursor to TOTAL CONTROL? 

When I add to that incredible quizzical action the incredible push to sedate the public and cause us to mindlessly become docile sheep led to the slaughter, I weep.  The gender blending and push for a gender-neutral society is more than a benign threat to a healthy society.  I, as a Christian, am concerned about the diabolical and even demonic attempts to shred everything biblical, moral, and constitutional.  The incessant push to force us into compliance and to abandon our core convictions must be viewed as an ominous danger.  Silence in the face of danger is to enable the danger to achieve its desire.

Our American dollar is becoming increasingly devalued.  Hyper Inflation is destroying far more than a few pillars of our Free Market and pushing us toward Socialism.  The energy crisis or the desired demand that we transition to Green Energy, accept their theories of Climate Change and Global Warming, along with the devious attempts to hamstring real law enforcement are all serious dangers.

We are watching the ever-increasing push to take from us our Inalienable Right of Self-Defense in the push to disarm us and enact a total gun ban.  The efforts to utterly destroy our electoral system and make fraud an easy pathway to stolen elections are weakening our pillars of republicanism.  The educational system has been in the control of the devious for decades and producing disciples of the New World Order.

I am weeping for America.  I believe that we may have reached the place where it is too late to clean the slate and make a brand-new start.  I am concerned that even if we evicted every elected official and somehow drained the swamp and dismantled the deep state, we would find that the hearts of too many would still embrace the diabolical deception that has been and is being fed by the demonic globalist agenda. 

I am praying for a Great Awakening in America, religiously, politically, morally, socially, and economically.  I am praying for a move of God on the human hearts to bring us back to our moral moorings.  I am asking that God turn our tears into joy and enable us to be brave enough to resist the destruction.  Ronald Reagan’s powerful reminder is relevant and needed to be heeded – “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”  The modern government is not seeking to help but control. America, we have been warned, now we must act.

The more I listen to and talk to people the more I am convinced that even our politicians in Washington are clueless as to what our true system of government is or is supposed to be.  Most of the Democrats and an unhealthy portion of the Republicans in Washington continually refer to our “Democracy.”  Conveying the idea that we are a Direct Democracy. 

If they understood what our Founding Fathers and our Constitution created, they would use defining adjectives with the term or not use it at all.  We are not, nor did the Founders desire us to be a Direct Democracy.  They abhorred that system of government and considered it a guaranteed way to implode and become a free nation no more.  Direct democracies lead to tyranny.  However, that may be why some call our system a Democracy because they desire us to become a socialist, fascist authoritarian system of government.

The idea that ‘majority rule’ is the law of the land is only partially accurate.  Of course, in today’s political climate, the majority are recognized only if they are avowed devotees to the toxic brand of liberalism espoused by the Leftists.  Anything conservative, Christian, or constitutional is deemed to be America’s greatest threat.  They hurl pejoratives and vitriolic charges at anyone not embracing their ideology and the masses regurgitate it as if it were a divine revelation.

Recently, I used a quote, often attributed to Huey Pierce Long, Jr. nicknamed, “The Kingfish.”  Long served as the governor of Louisiana from 1928 to 1932 and was a United States Senator from 1932 until his assassination in 1935.  The quote was, “Of course, we will have fascism in America, but it will come under the guise of anti-fascism.”  There are many variations of the quote, and the Fact Checkers go berserk attempting to discredit it.

In the 1930s political commentator, Lawrence Dennis was openly sympathetic to fascism but changed his view in 1936 and authored a book entitled, “The Coming American Fascism.”  Dennis said, “When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag.”  That is a warning that few have heeded.  It is not unlike the warnings of our Founding Fathers regarding our Republic and Republican form of government.  They feared any abridgment of the Constitution and any move toward allowing a rabid majority, at any given time, to rule.  That would place the nation in a fickle state of security.

Today, we are watching a brand of fascism being presented, promoted, and embraced by politicians, media types, Hollywood, and even some religious leaders while vigorously denouncing fascism.  ANTIFA is an example of what I am referring to.  They are either incredibly ignorant or brainwashed.  But what could we expect from the assembly line of mind-control and misinformation called our institutions of higher learning?  We have endured decades of anti-Americanism and anti-Republicanism in our schools and are reaping the fruit of those seeds of destruction.

ANTIFA operates as a virtual carbon copy of the German Nazi Party and Mussolini’s Italy.  Those were devotedly hardline socialists.  The favorite charge of ANTIFA is “fascist” and like the charge of ‘racist’ it is used so infrequently it has become almost undefinable.   They and those on the Left seek to impose the idea that fascism is a right-wing philosophy without understanding that the very tactics they use have deep roots in fascism.  They use tactics like ‘mob rule, mob psychology, character assignation, and purging of academics who do not embrace the left-wing ideological agendas.’  That is a fascist tactic.

The Nazis believe in confiscation of private property and wealth, free education and healthcare, abortion, mass public work programs, guaranteed jobs, control of the arts and libraries, control of education and attacks on independent schools, as well as making churches and charities fall under the total control of the government.  Does that sound familiar? 

Making the state the guardian of our children and our lives is fascist.  They promoted the confiscation of all guns lawfully owned by law-abiding citizens and blamed the Jews for the injustices in their country.  Today, rather than blaming the Jews the ANTIFA and Leftist fascists seek to blame conservatism, whites, constitutionalists, and Christians who do not bow at the altar of tolerance with all the ills of mankind.  Some even suggest another form of a holocaust and ridding the world of those of us who refuse to ascribe to their brand of ideological philosophy. 

The leaders of Black Lives Matter proudly announced that they were all ‘trained Marxists.’  I am not seeking to only address one side of the political aisle and acknowledge that there are those on the Right who seek to expunge the world of all who do not ascribe to their brand of ideological philosophy.  Hate, racism, and turning from the expressed view in our Declaration of Independence that “All are created equal and have inalienable rights” is destructive and contemptible.  The KKK and Aryan Nation are equally destructive!

Fascism is alive and well in America and is being embraced by millions, who have no idea what they are supporting.  They have been taught to hate those on the Right and those not of their ethnicity.  Sadly, human greed is playing a part in allowing this doorway to be open.  The corrupt and unethical politicians seek to buy support with ‘free everything’ knowing full well that nothing is free.  If those politicians believe that there is an endless supply of money, they are even more delusional than I suspected.

In the 1930s many saw this coming and sounded the alarm.  Most ignored them or were unaware of their warnings and why they were sounding the alarm.  Most people in America were living lives largely unaffected by the shenanigans and usurpations of those seeking to transform America into something other than a Republic.  The move to achieve the agenda of the globalist has been plodding along for many decades.  We have fiddled while our Rome was being burned.  Shame on us!

In 1938 Professor Halford E. Luccock of the Yale School of Divinity preached in a sermon in September, “When and if fascism comes to America, it will not be labeled “made in Germany”; it will not be marked with a swastika; it will not even be called fascism; it will be called, of course, ‘Americanism’.”

America, we are rapidly losing our Republic and our failure to heed the warning of Benjamin Franklin is troublingly evident.  He said when asked what system of government they had established, “A Republic if you can keep it.”  We can keep it, but not if we do not become informed as to what system we have, why we have it, and what it means, and teach the current and next generation the truth. 

We must no longer be willing to leave the politics to the politicians, education to the revisionist, and morals training to a self-serving fearful clergy and religious institutions.  We must study history, pay attention to politicians and their agendas, and return to the Bible for guidance on our moral principles.  We need a move of God to address the hearts of people and each of us must seek to be the person we desire others to be.  The promise of the Bible from God is that if we will return to Him, He will return to us.  Let’s return to Him!

That is what the followers of the toxic brand of liberalism, globalism, activism, and political correctness are doing.  They are no longer hiding, yet millions seem oblivious to their activities and agenda.  How is that possible?  It is possible due to the effectiveness of the indoctrination and brainwashing that has been transpiring for decades.  Couple that with the lunacy that somehow everyone is entitled to free everything and if someone has accumulated anything, they must share.  That is fertile ground for political chicanery and the corrupt in politics will not miss this opportunity.

The motto of the FBI, which should be changed, is “Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity.”  Let me be upfront and say, that I believe many within the ranks of the FBI genuinely want to do what is right.  However, like every other federal agency and bureau, the upper echelon of the bureau has been corrupted and co-opted.  The devious campaign arm and shield for the Leftists are determined to destroy anything constitutional and conservative and protect everything on the Left.  That is not the FBI’s original purpose.

I am not sure what the new motto should be, but “Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity” no longer applies to the ranking members of that agency nor to the activities they order.  The most recent assault or fishing expedition against the former president is an example of how far they have deviated from their motto and purpose. 

One only has to remember the activities of the FBI under the Obama administration, the 2016 efforts to derail the Trump campaign and protect Hillary, Biden, and any Democrat to realize that we are in a mess in America.  There has been no reckoning for the Spygate players in the FBI.  There has been no accounting for the distortions, lies, and misrepresentations by various members of that agency in the Russian collusion façade. 

The FBI has had access to Hunter Biden’s laptop since December 2019 but has done absolutely nothing.  Senator Ron Johnson wrote Justice Department Inspector Michael Horowitz detailing the FBI’s role as a campaign arm for the Democrats.  He revealed that whistleblowers have come forward to Congress alleging that the FBI brass intentionally undermined efforts to investigate Hunter Biden.  Agents were informed, “You will not look at Hunter Biden’s laptop.”  They further reported that they were told that the FBI was not going to change the outcome of the election by investigating Hunter. 

However, they kept Hillary’s involvement secret in order to attempt to secure the election for her, and by keeping Hunter’s actions as well as those of the Big Guy under wraps they were seeking to change the outcome in favor of Biden.  We have polls that indicate that 17% of Biden voters said they would not have voted for him had they known about several key stories the national media and FBI kept hidden.  That is hiding in plain sight, and it must end.

Joe Biden declared that he would be a unifier of America and as did his fearless leader Obama, he immediately went on the attack dividing America.  That is the modus operandi of the Democrats and will not change, unless and until the voting public wakes up and sends them packing.  As long as the fox has access to the hen house, he will continue to raid it.  Biden has accused the Republicans of being the “ultra-MAGA party” and followers of a “semi-fascist philosophy.”  Wait, Joe, you are accusing the GOP of what you ascribe to in the area of fascism.

Fascism is best pictured under the efforts of Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler.  It considers multi-parties politically anathema.  It considers free expression and private ownership threats to its agenda.  It is pro-silencing dissent, using law enforcement to enforce its rules and keep the public in the dark as much as possible.  Political opponents and supporters live under threat from the fascists.  Wait, that sounds like what the Left is doing, so who are the real fascists?

In Communist China, there is only one political party.  If Biden and the Democrats had their way, there would be only one party in American politics.  In China, even the companies identified as private enterprises are subjected to draconian and stifling government regulations and often direct and active government control.  Wait, that sounds like what the Biden administration and the Left desire?  So, who are the threats to our system of government?  I believe you can easily discern that if you desire and are willing to look at the facts.

America under Joe Biden’s administration has witnessed incredibly stifling regulations and mandates connected to the COVID situation.  However, they have reached far beyond COVID to impose their agenda and in their efforts to repeal our inalienable rights.

I do not care where you stand on the vaccine issue, forced vaccines are not the path of the Free Constitutional Republic we have known.  We have witnessed their efforts to establish an Orwellian “Disinformation Governance Board.”  Imagine that!  The nation, according to the polls rejected the Russian collusion hoax, the Ukraine call hoax, and the insurrection hoax.  I called the hoaxes because there has been no factual data to make their case.  There has been debunking after debunking.  You may hate Trump so much you disagree.  But facts are stubborn things.

We are watching a pandemic that is not a Chinese flu, but one that is, in my view, demonic, and comes from the very pits of hell.  Mychal Massie, a Black ordained minister, columnist, and blogger pulled back the covers on this terroristic effort by the Left.  He said, “I am not Black.  I am a born-again Christian man, and I am an American.  My self-worth is in Jesus Christ, not the falsity of Satan’s lies and a crayon color.”  He was incensed when Biden and the Democrats insisted that if he did not vote Democrat, he was not Black.  He was infuriated that his ethnicity was defined by how he voted.  He pushed back as everyone should.

Liberals use government mandates to enforce their agenda.  The KKK was not created by Nathan Bedford Forrest in 1865, it was by Democrats. They weaponized it and then codified mandates around the same to force compliance.  We have allowed historical revisionism to corrupt the minds of millions and too many on all sides are oblivious to the real history and the truth.

They are seeking to force the adoption of their Climate Change Agenda through mandates and forcing businesses to comply or die.  Bank Australia announced on August 26, 2022, that it will cease making loans for new gas and diesel vehicles in 2025.  If people actually wanted and were clamoring to buy electric vehicles such a mandate would be unnecessary. 

Gavin Newsom in California has mandated the ban on all new gas-powered vehicles in California by 2035.  Imagine that!  The state that has difficulty producing enough electricity to enable a normal household to operate is forcing the transition to electric-powered vehicles.  He is mandating what the state has a shortage of.

Someone said, “Well, if this plunge into depravity is inspired by the forces of darkness, then you can’t blame the politicians.” Yes, I can! I do believe that what is happening is the result of the demonic influence of the powers of darkness. However, I also believe that each of the participants had a choice, and could have followed the Bible, moral rightness, and the Constitution. Due to their thirst for power and greed they choose to follow the pathway to achieve their goals. Therefore, I choose to vote as many of them out of office as possible.

I genuinely believe that most Americans, if not the overwhelming majority, want to be left alone and allowed to pursue their American dream.  They want to live within the guarantees of the Declaration of Independence that all are created equal in the eyes of God.  Most of us want to be allowed to enjoy Life, Liberty and pursue Happiness without the threat of 87,000 IRS compliance agents, and the snooping of the FBI, NSA, and HSA.  We want smaller government.  That may be something we will never see again, but unless we step up to the plate and take our swings, we are guaranteed to see it no more.

Does that sound like there is an America I am not pro?  I am pro the America founded by the founders in the 1700s.  I am pro the America I grew up in the 50s and 60s.  I am pro the America that could be identified as a Christian nation.  I am pro the America that embraces the constitutional restrictions on governmental power, scope, and size. 

The America that the followers of toxic liberalism, globalism, climate activism, politically correct mandates and embraces multi-genders, and disregard the family, I am not a fan.  I cannot support political parties or candidates that seek to fundamentally transform our Republic from constitutionalism to banana-ism.  I do not support a socialist America nor one that denies our inalienable rights. 

I am a Vietnam veteran and proud to have served.  I am a Christian and unashamedly stand for the precepts and principles taught in the Bible.  I am a patriot and lover of Freedom.  I am a parent and grandparent who is concerned about the future of our nation, not as much for myself as for my progeny.

I sometimes read and hear things being said and done by the politicians and wonder, what is going on in America.  I sometimes wonder what the average citizen could be thinking by remaining silent and not crying from the rooftop in angst and anger at what is being done.  I watch as the behemoth called the federal government systematically strips us of our freedoms and rights, steals our money, and doles out billions seeking to sway votes in their direction, and wonder – “How Long Lord?” 

The America I knew, or thought I knew, growing up, is not the America I see today.  The misinformation, revisionism, and indoctrination that has been used to propagandize our children are bearing fruit.  Albeit not good fruit for Freedom and a Republican System of Government as designed by our founders, but fruit, nonetheless.  The Law of Sowing and Reaping is a never-failing truth in every aspect of life.  We are in a season of harvest and will pay dearly for the seeds sown.

I talk to people, who express disbelief regarding the condition our America is in.  However, some of them continue to vote for candidates because they like the way they talk or look or based on political affiliation or animus toward a candidate.  It has been said that the definition of insanity, is to continue doing what you have always done expecting a different result.  I hear complaints about inflation, loss of liberty, prices of everything, and the embracing of cultural values foreign to the Bible, reason, and strong families, but they continue to vote for candidates who embrace and vote for those policies.  What is Going on?  When did rational reason take its leave and exit stage left?

Those of us who grew up being proud to be an American, standing for the flag and kneeling at the Cross find it difficult to imagine how far we have drifted from our moral moorings.  America, once a beacon of hope and freedom to the world, is becoming a small flickering candle.  America, once the world’s superpower and defender of freedom is no longer trusted and maybe not be capable of defending itself much less anyone else.  What is going on?  How did this happen?  How?  We let the politicians tend to the politics and forget the requirement for oversight and standing for what we believe. 

We have reached a place, and it is not new but expanded under this occupant of the White House, where the intelligence and law enforcement arms of the government have been weaponized.  We have reached a place where it is dangerous to question the actions of the government.  Becoming vocal places, a target on the backs of those willing to stand and say, “This is not right!”  The IRS, NSA, Homeland, FBI, CIA, and DOJ are all participants in the weaponization.  Sadly, those agencies are being run by bureaucrats who are left leaning if not completely entrenched in the dogma and doctrine of toxic liberalism and globalism. 

We are in a place politically, where those in power deem it not only acceptable to use force and threaten their opponents, but expected. At the same time, they diligently protect their cronies, families, and associates who have been exposed glaringly as committing criminal activity.  What has happened in America?  How did we reach this juncture?  How?  We failed to do our due diligence and constitutional mandate.  Some even refused to vote because they did not like a personality.  A non-vote is often a back-door vote for the other side.

If you believe there are multiple genders, ignoring biology and medical science as well as the Bible, what I am going to say will possibly infuriate you.  There are only two genders and God created them ‘male and female.’  A person who follows the homosexual lifestyle was not born that way.  Allowing transgender adherents to display their lifestyle to children is pedophilia and should never be allowed.  Allowing children to have sex-change procedures and encouraging abortions with or without parental consent is an abomination to reason and the Bible.  This is part of the paganization of America.  How did we reach this place?  We did so by attempting to tolerate everything!  Some things cannot be tolerated because of their destructive nature. 

We have allowed the president and Congress to spend billions if not trillions of the taxpayer’s money for entitlements and the purpose of buying votes.  We are sending money to foreign nations, many of which chant “Death to America” trying to appease them rather than using those funds for America’s needs.  We have returned to being energy dependent upon nations that are not our friends due to policies dictated by the New Green Deal and Climate alarmists.  This screams the lack of intelligence and any true research, but it is where we are.

We are allowing nations, such as Iran, to proceed full speed ahead in the development of nuclear weapons, which they will use.  We are allowing religions of every kind except Judaism and Christianity to influence our national policies.  We are careful not to offend those nations who follow inhumane practices and have atrocious human rights records but seeking to silence Christians and churches in America.  What in the name of reason is going on?

We have reached a place where those on the Left, racial and radical activists, and followers of toxic liberalism who riot, maim, kill, steal, and destroy are defended as justified and any misstep by the other side feels the full brunt of federal law.  We have allowed the FBI, CIA, NSA, and other agencies to trample on our Bill of Rights with impunity.  History is filled with examples of the dangers of that pathway. 

Our First, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments are being trampled upon and the expressed desire of the Leftists is to repeal the Second Amendment also.  If you examine the historical data of Germany in the thirties, the USSR in the fifties and a host of other nations you should immediately realize the time for involvement is now. 

Many historians, sociologists, and political scientists believe we are headed toward an abyss that we cannot be saved from.  Many preachers have been sounding that alarm for decades.  If we do not reclaim our government and restore confidence that the elected officials will follow the constitution, we are doomed.  We are nearing a time when houses of worship will be silenced, and social media will allow no dissent.  We are nearing a time when, unless we reverse course, our goods will be confiscated by one means or another and we will all be dependent on the federal government for our survival. 

As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.  I believe that shortages, famines, disease, and jackbooted enforcement will be the norm.  It could quickly become comply or die.  What will we do then?  It will be too late to protest and unite – Now is the Time!  A phrase that we used in Typing Class is apropos – “Now is the time for all good men (women too) to come to the aid of their country.”  Rephrasing that – “Now is the time for all lovers of freedom and patriots to stand up for the reclaiming of our government.”

Since the Supreme Court overturned or returned Roe v. Wade to the states there has been an unending attempt to spread misinformation, disinformation, paranoia, and hate.  There are members of our government encouraging violence against pro-life groups and pro-life clinics.  Those same people insist that any attack on a pro-abortion or Planned Parenthood Clinic should be treated as the most heinous of crimes.  Therefore, it is not about life and protecting against criminal activity but protecting an ideology and agenda.

I have heard some preachers insist that the Bible does not address abortion and that it is justifiable within the scope of a woman’s choice and right to abort an unwanted fetus.  They do not call it a baby unless it is convenient but rather the impersonal term fetus.  Before I refer to some pertinent Bible references to life let me offer some of the writings of the Early Church Fathers on the subject.  THEY ARE WRONG!

The Didache – “The second commandment of the teaching: You shall not murder.  You shall not commit adultery.  You shall not seduce boys.  You shall not commit fornication.  You shall not steal.  You shall not practice magic.  You shall not use potions.  You shall not procure [an] abortion, nor destroy a newborn child.”  [Didache 2:1-2 {A.D. 70}

The Letter to Barnabas – “The way of light, then, is as follows. If anyone desires to travel to the appointed place, he must be zealous in his works. The knowledge, therefore, which is given to us for the purpose of walking in this way, is the following…Thou shalt not slay the child by procuring abortion; nor, again, shalt thou destroy it after it is born” (Letter of Barnabas 19 [A.D. 74]).

Tertullian – “In our case, a murder being once for all forbidden, we may not destroy even the fetus in the womb, while as yet the human being derives blood from the other parts of the body for its sustenance. To hinder a birth is merely a speedier man-killing; nor does it matter whether you take away a life that is born or destroy one that is coming to birth. That is a man which is going to be one; you have the fruit already in its seed” (Apology 9:8 [A.D. 197]).

Tertullian – “The law of Moses, indeed, punishes with due penalties the man who shall cause abortion [Ex. 21:22–24]” (ibid., 37).

The Apostolic Constitutions – “Thou shalt not use magic. Thou shalt not use witchcraft; for he says, ‘You shall not suffer a witch to live’ [Ex. 22:18]. Thou shall not slay thy child by causing abortion, nor kill that which is begotten…[I]f it be slain, [it] shall be avenged, as being unjustly destroyed” (Apostolic Constitutions 7:3 [A.D. 400]).

I do not want to make this strictly a religious discussion but if we go to Jeremiah 1:5 we read the powerful words about the beginning of life – “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”  If life does not begin until after the baby is birthed, then God’s statement has no weight.  Then in Psalm 139:16, we read, “Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, everyone one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”  That would mean that life began at a minimum of conception but in truth long before in the heart of God. 

We have many other passages that refer to life and there is a myriad of verses regarding the sanctity of life.  God’s Word makes it clear that He values every life and expects mankind to do the same.  He gives conditions in which a life can be forfeited and the penalty for taking a life wrongfully.  Therefore, I cannot support abortion based on my belief in God’s Word and I dare not make my value of life less than what the Bible declares.

One of the most ridiculous analogies attempted was by the New York Times equating abortion to a miscarriage.  They produced an article that asked, “Why do we talk about miscarriage different from abortion?”  The ridiculousness of that question deserves no mention, but it must be addressed because it is an attempt to take polar opposites and make them the same.  But that is the modus operandi of the followers of toxic liberalism who bow at the altar of human convenience.

Do we equate brain aneurysms to capital murder?  No? Based on their argument, why not?  Both result in death which is the only valid comparison.  Do we make consensual sex the same as rape?  No? Why not?  Both result in intercourse, right?  How about being paid a wage for doing a job and being held captive in a state of slavery?  NO? Both result in a job being performed, so using their analogy or comparison they would be the same, right?  Anyone with a temperature above room temperature should know better.

Our societal mores have declined and disintegrated to the place that in the United Kingdom more babies were born to unwed mothers for the first time in recorded history.  The decline in moral values and the relegating of the family to the back burner have elevated the view of convenience.  The lack of willingness to commit to marriage and family opens the door to abandonment and failure to perform our societal and biblical mandate to train, nurture, and provide for our children. 

The lack of civility and understanding of what constitutes a life and the life in the womb is producing growing violence against those who support life.  The followers of the pro-choice movement are taking to social media, targeting the Justices of the Supreme Court, physicians who take a pro-life stance, and anyone who opposes their view.  As was the case after Trump’s election in 2016, the media, the Leftists in government, and the activists insist those acts of violence are justified. 

I find it impossible to extricate eugenics from abortion because abortion is the taking of a human life.  Abortion is targeting the most defenseless among us.  That baby in the womb is proven by science to be a living organism (human being) and in the very early stages of development feels pain, has body parts, moves, and reacts to stimuli.  Yet, the insistence is that it is a woman’s right to end that life for whatever reason.  That is appalling to me. 

My question is and will always be if the life in the womb is not valuable and we deem it morally acceptable to end that life before it can even begin living what is next?  There have been diabolical forces seeking to eradicate our world of the weak, elderly, sick, and those who are deemed defective.  When abortion becomes so caviler and with extreme callousness, no thought is given to the right of the baby in the womb, then the next steps become much easier.

Those proponents of this ideology and agenda include Bill Gates who has advocated for a long time for the reduction of the world’s population by as much as one-third.  Today, we are cognizant that there is an ongoing effort to produce laboratory synthetic meat for human consumption.  The use of vaccines has been advanced by Mr. Gates as a method of achieving the goal of population reduction.  Where will it end? Who will be targeted?  Will it be a medical decision, a political decision, or a tyrannical decision?  Remember the efforts of Hitler to produce a super-race and eliminate the Jews from existence!

As a believer in the Inalienable Right to Life, the Bible, and a moral conviction that murder is wrong I cannot support any political party, candidate, or agenda that supports abortion.  If you find me offensive for my view, that is your choice.  I will defend your right to hold your view but ask that you also defend mine.  We, the world, are on the precipice of destruction through the new religion of personal convenience. 

I pray that God will forgive me, and our nation for our failure to do the right thing.  If there were no other issues on the ballot that would be enough for me to reject the Leftist.  I will vote in November with a clear conscience and reject those who advance this ideological agenda of devaluing life (abortion).

Although the right of choice is under fire by those seeking to fundamentally transform America into something other than the Free Constitutional Republic we were founded to be, we still have a choice, sometimes limited but still a choice.  The PC Police and Thought Police, Censors, and vocal adherents to the Cancel Culture and Revisionism are hell-bent on stripping us of choice, but as of today we still have that right and option.

Politically, too many allow themselves to be sucked into the black hole of destruction due to a personal animus or bias toward a particular candidate.  We have seen this kind of animus before, to a lesser degree. The Trump hate has transcended beyond anything I have ever witnessed.  I acknowledge that Donald Trump can be caustic, abrasive, and even obnoxious, but I also contend that he did many good things for America.  Do not accuse me of being a worshiper of him or any man, but I believe he cares about America.  I cannot say that about Biden, Obama, Hillary, or most of the other Democrats and too many Republicans.

I was saddened recently when in my area one of the public-school boards voted unanimously to remove some books including the Bible from their school and library.  That district elected three conservative members backed by Patriot Mobile.  Some of the books should be questioned but why the Bible?  If that is an expression of conservatism, then I must be something else.

I am unashamedly a Christian and a believer that the Bible is the Word of God.  I am a patriot, a Vietnam Veteran, and a lover of Freedom, and proud to be an American.  I will not be bullied into silence and acceptance of lifestyles and practices that are anathema to my faith and the declared Word of God.  I have the right of choice and I choose to follow the Bible not the government or PC Police’s version of what is acceptable. 

In our modern times, there is a concerted effort to give a platform for the agendas of gender blending, homosexuality, abortion, critical race theory, cancel culture, revision of history, and forced compliance to those agendas.  I resist and encourage everyone who believes in God, the Bible, and Freedom to also refuse to be forced into silence.

I must warn that if we do not silently accept what they are pushing, we will likely be targeted by the new army of armed IRS agents willing to use deadly force.  We will be targeted by various government agencies possibly including the FBI and other arms of law enforcement.  We will likely be placed on the list of undesirables and branded as potential domestic terrorists and racists.  However, Freedom demands that we step up and make our voices heard for too many are ignorant of any view other than the liberal view. But, Freedom is worth fighting for!

I am saddened by how many of our primary, secondary, and higher education graduates are brainwashed by the liberal diatribe that is being fed daily in those institutions.  That is not a new phenomenon but one that has been advancing for decades.  Students today often are incapable of reading at grade level, unable to use deductive reasoning and think critically.  They are misinformed about our history and made to feel that disagreement with the liberal ideology is reflective of a flaw in their character and deemed in need of penance.

I believe that our modern society is rapidly becoming devoid of a moral conscience that is founded upon biblical truth.  We have abandoned the family structure.  Marriage between one man and one woman is becoming a dinosaur.  Hooking up, one-night stands, shacking up, and living together without the bonds of marriage is far more prevalent today than ever.  It has made its way into the church and too many are turning a blind eye to this violation of God’s prescription of marriage and proper sexual relations.

We are gravitating toward a society that does what is right in its own eyes and is completely devoted to self and the pursuit of riches.  We are allowing hate to become acceptable and thereby adopting a Pharisaical view regarding our neighbor.  They believed that they were to love their neighbor as themselves but that their neighbor was someone in their ideological and religious group.  They believed they could hate anyone not a member of their sect. 

I see liberals and conservatives hurling hate toward those who disagree with them.  Many of those engaging in vitriolic hate insist they are followers of Christ.  I am unable to align that attitude with the teachings of Christ.  He never told us to accept wrongdoing and evil, but He did teach us to love others and to love and pray for our enemies.  We are not to participate in their deeds, adopt their ideologies, and cower to their demands, but we are better than hate because of His love in us.  At least we should be.

God directed the prophet, Ezekiel, to sound the alarm as a watchman on the wall when he saw evil or wrong.  God made it such a mandate that if Ezekiel did not warn of danger, sin, and wrong and the person died as a result God would hold him accountable.  On the other hand, if he did sound the alarm and it was ignored, then he had done his moral and spiritual duty. 

Today many are so afraid of being called a derogatory name they sit in silence and watch as the purveyors of lifestyles and beliefs contrary to moral reason and the Bible advance their agendas.  We have allowed politicians to do what they do without holding them accountable.  We have allowed the politicians to tend to politics and so long as it did not directly impact our bottom line we sat in silence.  That is what has produced the condition we are now facing.  

Being responsible is a core principle taught by both the Bible, the Founding Fathers, and many of our parents.  Benjamin Franklin said it succinctly, “A Republic if you can keep it.”  George Washington warned, “Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins of liberty abused by licentiousness.”  Thomas Jefferson sounded the prophetic alarm that we have ignored, “Experience has shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.”  We have been warned and have chosen to ignore the danger.

George Washington, the first president, and father of our country said, “If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent, we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.”  Our choice to be non-confrontational and silent in the face of a complete subversion and erosion of our founding principles and moral moorings has made his declaration a clear and present danger.

What do we do?  In my view, our first response should be repentance. Repentance to God for our lack of concern.  Repentance for our silence. Repentance for allowing the most vulnerable of our society to be sacrificed on the altar of convenience and out of fear of the vocal and violent promoters of radical liberal agendas.  Repentance for not praying as we should and maintaining a high moral standard.  God has promised to return to us if we return to Him.  I believe we need to return and that is step one.

Step two is to become involved at every level of the government.  We must pay attention to local politics, state politics, and national politics.  There is a dedicated move to replace our sovereignty with an allegiance to a world governing body.  That was predicted in the Bible and will bring about a time of tribulation beyond what the world has ever known.  There will be no more freedoms at that time. 

Step three is to vote in every election and realize that we will never find a perfect candidate, but we can stand for a principle of right in rejecting the diabolical and destructive plans of those who want to make America a nation without God and freedom.  Study the party platforms and make your choice on which more nearly embraces your beliefs.

The assault on our inalienable rights including, Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, and our Right to Keep and Bear Arms is an ongoing and never-ending pursuit of those on the Left. The Democratic Party has continually made it clear that they do not believe we have any ‘inalienable’ rights.  They believe that the only rights are those that the government decides we should have.  That should come as no surprise based on their previous decisions regarding God and the Constitution.

We live in a time of heightened concern about the threat of violence.  Although the claim by the DHS is that those on the Right are the most serious threat, they are not the ones rioting, looting, burning, destroying, maiming, and killing.  The bulk of the aforementioned comes from those who are followers of the toxic liberal ideology presented by the Left. 

The DHS is warning that there is a heightened danger of violence through the November mid-term elections because the SCOTUS overturned or sent Roe v. Wade back to the States. The subsequent events and actions by our government add to that concern. The DHS has acknowledged that public gatherings, faith-based institutions, schools, racial, ethnic, and religious minorities, government facilities and personnel, as well as our infrastructure, are in danger.  They have tried to infer that the danger is from those on the Right but cannot make their case in the face of the reality of the groups engaging in destructive activities.

I feel compelled to remind everyone that in 1774 the colonist felt the pain of the British “Intolerable Acts”.   Some called them “Coercive Acts” because they were a punishment for anyone not toeing the line of the edicts of the British Crown.  The Boston Tea Party was birthed out of reaction to those actions by the British Monarchy.  Hello America, we are facing the Intolerable or Coercive Acts Part Two under this administration. 

Many things make up the body of what I call today’s Intolerable Acts being enacted by the Left.  That includes the war against the oil and gas industry, and the closing of the Keystone XL pipeline.  We must also add to that list, the insane situation on the border and the unwillingness to secure it for the sake and safety of the American people.  We dare not fail to include in the list the inconsistency in the enforcement of our laws and the double standard regarding conservatives and liberal philosophy followers.  (January 6^th incarcerations are an example as are the lack of concern over Hunter Biden and the obsession with Donald Trump).

Those are all serious!  However, they are not what I want to focus on in this article.  The Power Hunger Elitists have sought to censor, silence, and control our Free Speech.  They have sought to impose their views and demands on our Religious Freedoms.  They have sought to make abortion the accepted norm.  They have taken steps to render us incapable of defending ourselves.  I must ask, for what purpose do they pursue those pathways?  If it is not for control and suppression, I have no reasonable explanation.

When I watched legislators kneel before the criminals who destroyed billions of dollars of American infrastructure in 2020, I was appalled.  That same group of legislators wants to strip the law-abiding citizens of our right to self-defense.  They have used every incident of mass violence that fits their narrative to advance a false narrative about the evil of guns.  They misrepresent the data and play on the fear of firearms rather than focusing on the real problem.  Stripping us of our Second Amendment Rights is the clear objective and as usual, they follow the modus operandi of “the end justifies the means.” 

We have been inundated with a few cherry-picked incidents regarding police brutality to make it sound like it is rampant, widespread, and systemic.  That narrative is designed to fan the flames of paranoia and fear and achieve the objective of limiting or ending law enforcement.  Why?  Possibly to make chaos the norm which would result in a cry for action and enable the government to take total control.  If we are armed, they fear there might be resistance, but if we are disarmed, we have little recourse.

Back in May, The New Republic published an article titled, “Democrats Need to Start Talking About Repealing the Second Amendment.”   The writer argued that the Democrats were going too slow and taking incremental changes in gun laws and needed to go full bore on a repeal of our Inalienable Right. 

The writer argued that with the millions of firearms in the hands of private citizens, incremental gun control is inadequate.  He pushed for an immediate total ban on all privately owned firearms.  Just a couple of days after his article The Washington Post published an article titled, “A Supreme Court Justice’s Solution To Gun Violence: Repeal Second Amendment.”  That article cited former Justice John Paul Stevens, who called for the anti-gun activists to demand a repeal of the Second Amendment.  They are open and clear about their desire.

The false information continues to be presented attempting to make the case for gun control and the FBI along with institutions like the Texas State University are participants in the false narrative regarding mass shootings being stopped by armed citizens.  A journalist for the Associated Press claimed that it is uncommon for a citizen to stop a mass shooting.  He argued that from 2000-2021, fewer than 3% of the 433 active shootings were stopped by a citizen shooting the assailant.  That was echoed by the Washington Post claiming that there were only ten incidences where a citizen stopped the shooter.

The FBI reported in the data collected between 2014-2021 that there were 281 active shooter incidents, and only forty-one of them were stopped by armed citizens.  The media took that as gospel and failed to investigate the discrepancies in the report.  The FBI refuses to address the discrepancies.  John Lott, head of the Crime Prevention Research Center, exposed the error.  He revealed that more than sixty of the 241 were stopped by an armed citizen.

The reality is that armed law-abiding citizens not only foil mass shootings they defend themselves and their families against aggression.  That transpires in between 500,000 (CDC reported data) and 1,884,348 (Gary Kleck and Marc Gertz data) times each year.  That sounds like a great deterrent to crime and is a much-needed ability for private citizens to maintain.  What happens if we lose that Inalienable Right?  We are far more endangered individually and collectively.

Thomas Jefferson understood the danger. He said, “The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes…. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.”

Common sense, which is uncommon today, would afford us the insight to realize that the dumbest and most ineffective way to fight crime is to disarm private citizens and strip them of the ability to defend themselves and thereby deterring crime.  We fail to consider the root cause of mass shootings and prefer to focus on and blame the tool used rather than the cause.  I have said and will say again, that the problem is the condition of the human heart and mind, not the tool used.  If it were not a gun, they would find a myriad of other implements to commit their heinous plan.

Stripping the law-abiding of their ability to defend themselves will not turn out well for the citizens.  Banning guns will only affect the law-abiding it will not deter the criminals.  Criminals do not obey the laws, thus the name criminal.  The diabolical, extremely disturbed, and even demonic souls will find a way to do their dirty deeds and no law will eliminate firearms. They will exist and will be accessible to those seeking to obtain them.  The founding fathers and the Bible give us the Right to self-defense.  So, I plead for everyone to demand that our Inalienable Rights be uninfringed.
