WILL AMERICANS WAKE UP AND TAKE ACTION?


Will Americans wake up, smell the coffee, and decide that enough is enough or will we continue down the road to destruction?  This impeachment craze being advanced largely by the infamous and nefarious Congressman from California, Adam Schiff is troubling. 

It is troubling because for over three years we have been bombarded with the incessant push to ‘Get Trump’ the evil ‘orange man.’  The Democrats have largely ignored matters of governing and devoted their full attention to Trump.  They have needlessly spent taxpayer dollars that could and should have been used to address our nation’s needs.  Will Americans wake up and take action or will we allow this to continue for another and possibly 5 more years? 

Congressman Schiff’s method of conducting this investigation into the alleged improprieties of the President has been revealing.  No, it has not revealed any evidence of wrongdoing by the President but revealing as to the intent, plan, and willingness to conduct a clandestine coup attempt to oust a duly elected president.  The Congressman began his diatribe and rhetoric almost immediately after the 2016 election and has repeatedly claimed ‘concrete evidence’ against Trump.  However, he has failed to produce even a whiff of that ‘rock solid’ documentation he claims to possess.  Congressman, if you have the goods on the President, then put the evidence on the table for everyone to see.  Put up or shut up!

He began the his investigation behind closed doors and in many ways locked the Republicans out of the loop.  He then orchestrated or allowed a series of selective leaks to the press to maximize his allegations and advance his cause.  Someone said, “Schiff stole his own thunder.” 

When I watch his face and look into his eyes, I see someone who is deeply troubled and I believe there is something at work in his life that is beyond the norm and natural.  I don’t know if he believes his rhetoric and diatribe and is disillusioned and confused or is filled with arrogance and hate to the point, he is willing to do anything to achieve his objective of Trump’s destruction.  Either way, he is a danger to our system of government.

If Donald John Trump, the 45th President of these United States, did half of what they have accused him of, he should be removed.  However, there has been no evidence of his complicity or engagement in the impeachable offenses they allege. 

On the other hand, there is verifiable evidence that Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and numerous others on the Left have violated both our Laws and our Constitution.  Nobody seems to care about those improprieties and are fixated on Trump.  That causes me to ask, “Will Americans wake up and take action?”  I keep hoping and praying for America.  I pray for those whom I deem enemies of this Republic.  I pray for those charged with leading this Republic.  I pray for the American people that we will return to our Constitutional and moral moorings and take the necessary action!

It has been and remains my belief that the Democrats do not truly believe they can amass Congressional support or to both impeach and convict the president.  What I believe is they have pushed their chips to the center of the table and gone all-in hoping that they will garner enough public sentiment to defeat Trump in 2020. 

They are counting on Americans to remain somewhat ambivalent and dependent upon what is reported in the media to shape their opinions.  They are counting on many Americans not taking the time or making the effort to truly investigate the investigation and allegations.  They are counting on us being sheep and lead us to the slaughter or the pasture they desire to place us.  Will Americans wake up and take the needed action?  Will we resume our Constitutional duties of giving oversight to the overseers?

Some of the polls recently have indicated that many Independents and those who are ‘undecided’ are tuning out the hearings and are bored with the diatribe and nothingness in the testimonies.  Most people grow tired of ‘hearsay’ and while they may find gossip a tasty morsel briefly over time, they find it a waste of time.  This charade has not reached its crescendo and already there are signs that the American people are bored and want Congress to move and deal with our Infrastructure and other issues that affect our lives daily. 

Someone said, “If Americans turn against the impeachment effort, they will punish Democrats for not attending to other, more important, priorities.  Let’s face it, impeaching the president will not make our roads better or lower drug costs.”  I hope they are correct and agree that this has been much ado about nothing and a demonstration of ‘sour grapes’ and the unwillingness to accept the ‘will of the people’ through a legitimate election. 

They failed to show that Trump stole the election with Russian help, but we have documentation of illegals voting for Hillary.  They failed to show any evidence of Quid Pro Quo, but we have clear evidence of Biden holding Ukraine hostage to funds unless they did what he desired to protect his son.  We have Obama and Hillary engaged in questionable if not illegal activities through their official power and positions.  We hear nothing but crickets over those realities but blaring trumpets on Trump’s supposed evils and crimes. 

Someone said, “Adding to the public’s ennui is that the resolution of the impeachment is a foregone conclusion is like Agatha Christie revealing whodunit in Chapter One; it steals the story’s punch and intrigue.”  The Democrats will not cease their antics and if Trump wins reelection we are going to see more of the same.  No, we will see an escalation of Congressional hearings and activist rioting and disruption. 

The Democrats may or may not realize they are driving their bus of destruction toward the abyss at high speed.  There are fringe elements on both sides itching for a full-blown war to break out.  They are not the ones that concern me the most.  The ones that concern is the more middle of the road citizens who are being pushed to the breaking point.  If they break, then the dam breaks and War results.  Nobody should want that to transpire.

The witnesses have not corroborated Schiff’s claims but rather have largely deflated his concrete balloon.  He brings out witnesses that have no information, no evidence, no first-hand knowledge. Why?  Why bring them out?  It is an attempt to sway public opinion that Trump is incompetent and unhinged.  It is to solidify the control of foreign policy in the hands of the political establishment and strip that Constitutionally delegated duty from the President. 

They are trying the president in the court of public opinion and hoping to obtain a victory in that arena.  I pray they fail, and America wakes up, smells the coffee of reality, and takes the appropriate action.  We need to elect the right people and dis-elect those trampling on our constitution and system of government.

SUCCESS OR POLITICS – Which Is More Important to You?


I have, for a very long time, been turned off by politicians and the political jockeying in America.  However, because politics is part of our System of Government and affects life, I must stay engaged in the process and fight for freedom!  That endeavor is often a taxing endeavor and stretches my patience to the limit.  But I consider Freedom and the Free Constitutional Republic too great a prize to cede to the Leftists without a fight.

In each of the Democratic debates, the proof has been in the pudding revealing that they not only do not appreciate or respect our Republic. They appear to desire the complete and fundamental transformation of it into something foreign to the vision of our Founders.  That, to this American, is distressing.  I cannot imagine how anyone enjoying the benefits of our economic system and our freedoms could embrace their agenda, but millions are.  That causes me to ask, “Success or Politics – Which Is More Important to You?” 

I wish I could say, that most believe success outweighs partisan politics but in today’s political shenanigans it appears that politics takes a position of greater importance.  The Democratic hopefuls wanting to be President seem to be oblivious to the successes we have enjoyed which have benefited most if not all Americas over the past three-years.  They refuse to acknowledge the robustness of the economy under Trump, an economy that Obama insisted would never exist again.  They refuse to recognize the benefit to all Americans who want to work as the job market has expanded to the point that unemployment is the lowest in modern history. 

There are those who claim to be Republican and Conservative that have a strong dislike for our military.  I don’t know if they served or understand the benefit of having a strong regulated military presence in the world.  One of the best means of achieving peace is to be prepared for war. 

I know of no veteran who has served in combat that prefers war to peace.  War is hell for everyone, not just the combatants.  War is sometimes unavoidable and was it not for our strength and ability to defend ourselves we would have been invaded long ago.  The Democrats seem to detest our military and that is revealed in their restrictions on the men and women in uniform, their funding or resistance to funding our military.  I suppose their view of those of us who have served could be no better revealed than in their treatment of veterans through the Veterans Administration. 

One thing that stands out to me as I listen to and read the statements and positions of the Democratic Candidates is their willingness to divide America.  They seek to divide along racial lines.  They seek to divide us through class envy and greed.  They fan the flames of hatred for the rich, especially the super-rich.  Most of those candidates are wealthy and much of their wealth has come through their political connections or positions.  Yet, they insist that one of America’s greatest problems is the rich.

They have learned and have been inspired by diabolical dark forces in the unseen realm, that people who do not have are prone to envy those who do.  When we inspire people to believe that the rich are keeping them from their deserved abundance, we can build a coalition of opposition.  That’s what the Democrats are attempting to do, believing that if they can make us hate the rich enough, we will vote Democrat and ‘stick it to the rich.’  Sadly, those who embrace that envy and hate fail to realize that hurting them hurts everyone in many ways.  It does not provide those lacking with more which is the mantra of the Left.  Socialism cannot work in practice and is flawed in principle.  Wake Up!

The debates have opened the curtains and exposed how the Democrats plan to govern or rule, which is probably a more appropriate description.  They want to dictate to us how we live, where we live, where we work, how we educate our children, what kind if any medical care we receive, and how we travel.  They want to strip us of our fundamental inalienable rights of Freedom of Religion, Speech, remove our ability for self-defense, and demand that we embrace policies and agendas that are in direct conflict to our religious faith.  That makes politics more important that success and makes the government more powerful and authoritative than God and the Bible.  I reject that!

Nikita Khrushchev predicted that we would be destroyed from within and said, “The United States will eventually fly the Communist red flag…the American people will hoist it themselves.”  That is a frightening prediction and one that I summarily rejected when he said it but now wonder if he might have seen beyond what I believed possible.  Benjamin Franklin warned that we had been given a Republic, “if we can keep it.” 

For me, the 2020 elections are about Freedom vs Tyranny, love for America or hate for her, and Free Market Capitalism vs Socialism.  The choice has never been clearer than it is this time around.  Every election is going to be the most important we have faced because the Left is going full-bore on transforming us into something other than what we were designed to be, the Free Constitutional Republic where all men are viewed as created equal and possessing certain inalienable rights.  If we want to maintain our freedom and remain a Republic, we must reject them in 2020.

IS COMMON SENSE DEAD?


I am serious in my question?  The Political Correctness and the nullification of so many things in today’s society, I frequently ask myself and others, “Is Common Sense Dead?”  Somebody rightly asked, “Why do they call it common sense when it is so uncommon?”  There are many things I could use in this discussion, but I will selectively extract one or two to suffice.

The Gender Nullification activism that is growing in America and around the world is alarming to this American.  I am a father, a grandfather, a husband, a brother, a son, a patriot, a veteran, and most importantly a Christian.  My core conviction is that God is the Creator.  I have unrelenting belief in God’s Word and therefore trust what the Bible says far more than what the government or man says.

The Bible declares in Genesis 1:27 – “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”  Also, in Genesis 5:1-2 – “…God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. 2 He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created.”    I trust God and he did not create 112 genders as google now suggests but 2, male and female. 

The idea of Gender Fluidity is a relatively new idea that argues that gender is not ‘fixed’ as the Bible indicates, DNA demands, chromosomes demand, and genitals reveal.  The idea advanced by those wanting to rewrite the Bible and science suggest that gender can change along a spectrum of masculine-feminine and encompass elements of both genders.  Then there is the idea of Gender Dysphoria that argues that there is distress associated with a mismatch between biological sex and gender identity.  That is not a biological issue but a psychological one and created by our depraved society.

We also encounter Body Dysmorphia which is an entirely different condition, they argue, that is characterized by strong feelings that the body is flawed. Basically it is saying God, you blew it when you created me, and I need to correct your error.  I would hate to stand before God and try to argue that.  We encounter Transgender which has morphed into meaning so many different things but basically is the idea that gender is fluid and changes with changing attitudes and conditions.  We have the Transsexual which seeks to correct God’s error (their view not mine) by transitioning from one biological gender to another via medical (hormonal or surgical) means.

The list found among other places is detailed at https://dudeasks.com/how-many-genders-are-there-in-2019/ and I suggest you read it for yourself.  The list and definitions are more than troubling, they scream that ‘common sense’ has completely vanished from planet earth.  

New York City’s Commission on Human Rights has taken a position that slaps sanity and common sense in the face with their 31 recognized genders which include names such as ‘drag king, drag queen, butch, femme queen, gender fluid, gender blender, gender bender, and gender gifted.’  I have no idea what they truly mean in some of those but know they are rubbing it in our faces and attempting to force us to accept things that are foreign to common sense, genetics, science, and the Bible. 

I believe that the end game is not empowering people to be who they truly are but to dis-empower those of us who hold to traditional and biblical values.  They are seeking to dis-empower those of us who value the traditional two-parent family of mother and father, male and female.  I read a statement by Theodore Dalrymple, an English writer, and retired prison doctor and psychiatrist who has studied this extensively. 

He said: “Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better.  When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity [integrity, honesty].  To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself.  One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded and even destroyed.  A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.”

That is disturbing and causes me to ask again, “Is Common Sense Dead?”  The lunacy regarding open borders is part and parcel of this agenda.  The idea that America should become a Socialist nation is part of the package.  The Political Correctness that seeks to force Americans to abandon their God-given right to “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness” embodied in our inalienable rights and constitutional protections. 

The modern Democrat Party has abandoned common sense and is on a mission to destroy what our Founders and the Framers gave us in the late 1700’s.  They are pursuing a pathway that will lead to Tyranny, Despotism, and the loss of most if not all our freedoms and liberties.  How millions are embracing that political agenda is beyond reason and forces me to ask, “Is Common Sense Dead?”

If they win in November 2020 and retake the White House, keep the House of Representatives, and reclaim the Senate we will incur infringement upon or rights and liberties like we have not yet witnessed.  The Supreme Court will be expanded and packed with liberal activist jurists.  The lower courts will be packed.  The intelligence agencies, the IRS, national law enforcement agencies and the Department of Justice will become weapons against those of us who resist.  The regulations will become monstrous, the fines, fees, and taxes will be astronomical, and we will become unwilling serfs of the State.  Bernie Sander’s 97.5% tax rate on billionaires will seem minor compared to what they will do to those of us they have deemed deplorable. 

God help us wake up, return to God and our moral moorings and allow Common Sense to be restored!   WAKE UP AMERICA!

SOCIETAL AND POLITICAL SUICIDE…


I have been deeply concerned about the direction of our nation politically, morally, socially, and politically for a long time.  When I raise the spiritual issue there are those who otherwise agree with me, show me the door, they want nothing to do with that aspect.  I have had those who religiously follow CNN, MSNBC, and the Main Stream Media call for my head or incarceration and demand that I be silenced on all social media platforms over my insertion of God and the Bible into the discussion.  If you believe that God has no place in government, you may dislike what I write, but I believe as I believe our Founding Fathers believed that God and the Bible are an integral part of our Freedom and existence as a Republic. 

The degeneration and declension of our moral, social, political, and spiritual values are too evident to miss.  Many of the problems we face today are directly traceable to that decline and can only be rectified by a return to our moorings and not through legislation.  The government cannot ‘fix’ our problems and 99.9% of the time they ‘exacerbate’ them.

Many of our social, moral, political, economic, and spiritual problems have been increased exponentially through various government interventions, regulations, legislation, and edicts.  The overt contempt for the family, more definitively the two-parent family has been growing for decades if not centuries.  I could contend that it had its beginnings in the 1960s, but that would be wrong.  I could argue that it began with the communist manifesto and agenda in 1848 but that too would be wrong.  I believe it began before the Garden of Eden, but it assuredly found its way into our word there with the snake, Adam, and Eve.  Rebellion against God and all that was morally right was promoted and the fruit of that kind of rebellion is destruction.

Much of what we are seeing gained significant ground under Presidents Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt.  The Democratic Party’s declension and disintegration expanded, and the Leftists moved with much greater freedom with the New Deal.  FDR expanded the role, scope, and power of the federal government like no previous president.  The tentacles of control and intrusion into our lives began to spread and we have been paying a high price.

The New Deal of Roosevelt expanded the power of the federal government and because the unemployment rate dropped people accepted it.  The sad thing about that is it is a typical response for people to give up liberty when it affects them economically.  That is also what happens when people are offered a program that ‘sticks it to’ the wealthy or someone they deem undeservedly better off them themselves.  Greed and envy are terrible monsters that rip the fabric of any society apart.  The government cannot ‘fix’ that only God can and only we can by having a change of heart. 

The Anti-War movement of the 1960s was a key element in the galvanization of the Liberal Left and pushed us down the road to Socialism and the revamping of our Republic.  Barack Obama called it ‘fundamental transformation’ and others call it ‘revisiting’ the Constitution and bringing it into the 21st century.  I argue that it does not need to come into the modern mindset but our modern mindset needs to re-embrace the principles it was founded upon and embraced. 

The disintegration of the nuclear family where there were two-parents was targeted somewhat covertly by Lyndon Johnson and his ‘Great Society’ program.  Some of the quotes that have been verified made by President Johnson reveal his true heart and attitude and it was not the betterment of blacks, families, or anyone, but the expansion of the power he and they wanted to be lodged in the hands of the Leftists.

In 1960 the percentage of children born out of wedlock was 5% that number has risen to about 40%.  That is astounding and frightening!  Sexual immorality is celebrated by much of our society and even in our public schools, there is the intensified promotion of sexuality.  When a public school, issues free condoms as part of their effort to prevent unwanted pregnancy they are sending a mixed message, at best.  Rather than informing the parents of problems, they deem themselves to be the guardians of our children and their morality.  I disagree and so does God. 

When states follow the edict of their administration and even the federal government to counsel a young girl regarding abortion and not inform the parents that is dangerous.  I consider it directly counter to valuing the family and parental authority or responsibility.  I disagree that it ‘takes a village to raise a child’ but argue that it takes ‘parents, and preferable a mother and a father in the home.’  When the federal government rewards unwed pregnancies with welfare funds it damages our society’s fabric and shreds our moral values.  With the government’s welfare program, one would think that would lower the number of abortions, but it does not. 

When a society becomes greedy, self-serving, and self-centered filled with envy and hate it becomes nonfunctional and counterproductive.  The Left has, at least nationally, abandoned God and the principles of morality.  They have abandoned civility and although they argue that we must be inclusive and tolerant, they exhibit intolerance that results in violence when anyone disagrees with them. 

The advocates of government-run everything and those who seek the eradication of our borders have an objective that is dangerous if not deadly.  The willingness to give up our inalienable rights based on the fallacious idea that we will be safe and everyone will coexist is dangerous. 

The abandonment of moral principles and the attempts to sanitize and rewrite history to express a desired view rather is dangerous.  America, if we continue this path and continue our moral, social, political, and spiritual decline we will be guilty of committing national suicide and dooming our children and grandchildren to tyranny.  I cannot knowingly do that!  I must fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom so long as I am alive.

HIGH CRIMES and MISDEMEANORS – Where Are They?


According to the U.S. Constitution, the impeachment of the President of the United States is to be based on provable, “Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors.”  There is no pathway for a crime-less impeachment, but that appears the avenue down which the Democrats in the House of Representatives are traveling.  The national mainstream media is touting the validity of their claims and reporting, as fact, distortions, fabrications, and altered transcripts as proof.  That is a tragic situation and reveals a terminal condition in our Republic.

The argument that Trump endangered America’s national security by delaying lethal aid and Javelin missiles to Ukraine.  However, when we examine this supposed crime, we discover the missiles are the same missiles and aid that former President Obama refused to send to Ukraine.  If Trump committed a crime, then Obama committed the same crime. How is Obama lauded as a Great President and Trump an evil law-breaking devil?  How is that for hypocrisy?  Trump delayed them Obama refused them, so I am forced to ask, “Which action presented a more dire and dangerous for America’s national security?” 

The Democrats are claiming that President Trump demanded that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky hold a press conference and announce an investigation of Joe and Hunter Biden.  The assertion that Trump’s demand included the quid pro quo that the funds and aid would not be forthcoming until and unless that happened.  What are the facts and timeline in this supposed crime and demand?

Was that supposedly demanded press conference held?  It was not.  Did Ukraine announce they were investigating the Biden’s?  They did not.  Did the Ukrainian President get an Oval Office visit?  Yes, he did.  Did the U.S. provide the aid to Ukraine?  The facts are that we sent $400 million in arms and Javelin missiles.  Wow!  Such a powerful quid pro quo, right?  It certainly appears fictitious.

According to the American Constitution, who is charged with deciding whether we send military aid to any foreign nation?  You guessed it, the President of the United States, the Commander in Chief of our Armed Forces. He can delegate that responsibility to a National Security Council staffer overseeing matters related to Ukraine.  That authority is not in the purview of the CIA, or any other member of the Deep State or Swamp.  The onus is on the President, so how is this a crime?  The transcript of the phone call deflates all the arguments of quid pro quo and reveals the depth those in the Destroy Trump camp are willing to descend to get him. That is not what America needs and not what our Constitution provides. 

The Democrat plan and desire for impeachment began before Trump’s election and assuredly after his election.  The groundwork was being laid before his inauguration and has continued incessantly since.  There has been a concerted effort to hinder and delegitimize his election and presidency beyond any examples we could cite in our history.  The falsified dossier claiming Russian collaboration and collusion was advanced as proof positive of his guilt.  A document bought and paid for by the Clinton camp and the DNC. 

The Washington Post published an article on the day Trump took the oath of office that the ‘campaign to impeach President Trump has begun.’  That was Day One!  Oh well, so much for accepting the outcome of an election as Hillary and the moderators in the debate demanded from Trump.  I guess acceptance was only if Hillary won as they believed was assured. 

There has been a mountain of bogus reasons to impeach the president presented by the Democrats.  Trump’s travel ban designed to prevent any incoming terrorists from questionable locations was a prime example for them.  He must go, he is evil.  They have claimed that impeachment is required over the Emoluments Clause and that has failed.  His firing an inept, insubordinate, and corrupt FBI director was obstruction of justice was their claim.  That too has failed and shown to be bogus.  We endured over two-years of Robert Mueller’s desperate search for anything to hand on Trump and that has failed.

What now?  The July phone call between the President and his Ukrainian counterpart.  The unredacted transcript of the call has been declassified and released to the public and it refutes the claims of the whistleblower and destroys Adam Schiff’s claims of corruption and impeachable evidence. 

Richard Nixon did something that was unarguably wrong and so did Bill Clinton, but what has Trump done wrong?  Any U.S. President requesting any foreign nation to investigate corruption and the origins of that corruption and the corrupt in peddling the Russian conspiracy theory is not a crime.  That fallacious accusation in the dossier damage America and needs to be fully exposed and any crimes committed addressed. 

The incredible abuse of power that the Democrats are engaging in is the very thing they accuse Trump of doing.  They have demonstrated the willingness to use any tactic and go to any length to damage if not destroy the President.  Their true colors were put on display in the Brett Kavanaugh hearings using uncorroborated claims to attempt to destroy a man, his reputation, his career, and his family.  The New York Times the outlet that broke the story finally admitted that the alleged victim had no recollection of the incident. 

What kind of precedent is this endeavor of the Democrats going to set for the future in America?  No American President will ever be safe again to conduct the duties of his office without having to constantly look over his shoulder wondering when a fallacious charge will result in impeachment.   We will endure a never-ending stream of kangaroo court investigations and our country will be irrevocably divided.  This dangerous path is placing America on the road to destruction and opening the door to a hell none of us want to encounter. 

America, if we do not put a stop to this kind of partisan mindlessness, we will provide the cover for American’s destruction.  I am unwilling to sit in silence while that happens.  You may not like President Trump, and you may vote for someone else even a Leftist Socialist, that is your choice. But if you love America and want us to remain the Free Constitutional Republic we were established to be, join us in stopping this madness and drain the swamp and dismantle the deep state as much as possible in 2020.

CAN WE OVERCOME GENERATIONAL IGNORANCE?


By Generational Ignorance I am speaking of at least two if not three generations of Americans who have been indoctrinated with ‘Political Ignorance’ and the ‘Toxicity of Liberal Thought.’  That has transpired through our institutions of higher learning, the media, Hollywood, political activist, and various social justice organizations. 

We have witnessed the ‘anti-everything crowd’, of the 1960’s, become professors in our colleges and universities.  We have witnessed the planned dumbing down constitutionally.  We have witnessed the attempted sanitization of history.  We have witnessed the development of political correctness that has produced a ‘snowflake society’.  We have yet to see the full impact of those generational efforts by those who oppose our American System of Government and Economy.

I recently read a study conducted by ‘Mind Share Partners, Qualtrics and SAP’ that reported that about 50% of the Millennial’s and 75% of Gen Z have left a job for mental health reasons.  If that does not trouble you, what will?  The ‘American Psychological Association’ reported that the percentage of people dealing with suicidal thoughts increased by 47% from 2008 to 2017.  Does that trouble you?  Companies such as Cisco has reported that 7% of its U.S. workforce is accessing some form of mental health and substance abuse treatment.  Does that trouble you?

Let me suggest that when you have a generation of people who have never been held accountable and have no work ethic instilled in them, you face this type of problem.  When you compare the percentages of the Millennial’s and Gen Z’s to the Baby Boomers you find that in the Baby Boomers less than 10% left a job due to mental health-related reasons.  The study did not have a metrics to evaluate the WWII generation, but I’m sure it was even less.  Why?  I believe it is Work Ethic!  It was that they and the Baby Boomers were taught. We learned that there is no Free Ride and we had expected to work for what we got and held accountable for our actions.  We have done this to ourselves and the fruit of that tree has yet to reveal how extensive the damage will be. 

That brings me to the issue of Climate Change and the hysteria of the Millennial’s and Gen Z’s as well as those who have bought into the rhetoric of older generations.  I don’t know if you remember but TIME Magazine published an article on June 24, 1974, titled, “Another Ice Age?”  The article suggested that the atmosphere had been gradually cooling for three decades.  It contended that that trend showed no evidence of reversing and there was an impending calamity coming in the form of ICE.

That cataclysmic disaster did not transpire, and the reports began to emerge that the planet was gradually surprisingly warming. The result was that the Global Warming theory began to be advanced replacing the Global Cooling theory.  Neither theories are settled science.  Both are rooted in fear-mongering and are tools used by globalists to send generations into a paranoid state and thereby gain control of our resources and liberties. 

In 2005 there was a Gallop poll asking Americans to identify what they believed was our greatest problem and Global Warming did not make the top ten.  That sent the Climate Activist into a panic and into action, because they understood that they had to increase the fear, or they would see their efforts fall by the wayside.  They began an intense marketing campaign to sell Global Warming and create a paranoia that fossil fuels were destroying the planet.  Al Gore got on the bandwagon and financial gravy train and did his 2006 fake documentary “An Inconvenient Truth.”  They have worked tirelessly while too many on the Right sat silent.

In 2018 there was a Gallop poll that showed that 70% of Americans 18-34 are somewhat worried about ‘Global Warming’ or ‘Climate Change.’  The intensity of the marketing campaign has increased yearly and will continue to be a major effort of the Leftists. 

Let me explain the problem, as I see it.  No, I am not going to address ‘Climate Change’ but those who believe it.  The Millennial’s and Gen Z’s embrace the theory and paranoia. They believe that man-made global warming is doing incredible harm to the planet and poses a threat to America.  Millennial’s such as Representative Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez a Global Warming Climate Change advocate has over 5 million followers on Twitter.  That is disturbing!  Democratic hopeful and former Vice President Joe Biden has said, “We must take combustion engine vehicles off the road as rapidly as possible.”  That is alarming and should serve as a warning to all Freedom Loving Americans!

The Climate Activist attempt to sell us on the idea of what the earth temperature was millennial’s ago to a tenth of a degree.  However, reliable and accurate historical temperature data was only available a few decades ago.  Some asked, “Were thermometers calibrated to one-tenth of a degree millennial’s past?”  If you took a thermometer placed in service 50 years ago, would it register temperature to a tenth of a degree? 

The fact that the Millennial’s and Gen Z’s believe so strongly in man-made climate change or global warming is a threat.  When they ascend to power and positions of governance what will they do legislatively?  You guessed it, they will enact laws and regulations that plunge us into the abyss that those laws and regulations will impose. 

When they become the ones governing, we will see energy become so costly many will be without the required energy to cool or heat their homes.  We will find businesses unable to operate due to the escalated costs and goods and services will become scarce.  We will see Agenda 21 fully implemented and our ability to own and drive personal vehicles will disappear.  Private ownership of a home will be a memory and we will be forced into condominium living in high-rises and forced to use public transportation.  Rural living will become a thing of the past unless you are willing to go back to the horse and buggy days of yore.

They will enlist the IRS to help individuals fight the dreaded climate change using their own personal funds.  Taxes will go through the roof, regulations will stifle the economy.  They will force the New Green Deal or a variation on America as the Democrats did Obamacare.  It won’t matter if we like it, agree with it, or want it, once they are in Power, we are going to get it. 

I do not know how we overcome Generational Ignorance.  The only hope I see for America and the world is divine intervention and God just may leave us to or ignorance.  However, I will continue to attempt to debunk their theories, fight for candidates who demonstrate they are Constitutionalists and Conservatives.  I will fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom so long as I breathe the air of planet earth.  Please join me in defeating the Globalist, Leftist, Socialist, Progressive, Democrats in every election and at every level.

DEDICATED TO DESTRUCTION…


Dedicated to Destruction is, in my view, a perfect description of those following the toxicity of liberalism and socialism being advanced by the modern Democratic Party.  They have pushed all their chips to the center of the table and are ‘all in’ in their quest to destroy Donald J. Trump.  They did not like the outcome of the 2016 election and in their minds believe that he could not have won legitimately.  After all, they are the guardians and protectors of we the ignorant masses of society, right?  In their minds, in their minds.

I agree with those who contend that this quest and 24/7/365 push to oust the president began on election night.  Well, it truly began when it was apparent, he would be the Republican nominee.  They loved him when he contributed to Democrat candidates as a businessman but once he became the Republican nominee, he was instantly transformed into Lucifer himself, in their minds.  He became a traitor, a turn-coat, and one worthy of destruction.  That’s how they view us, ‘the Deplorables’. 

They deem us beyond ignorant.  Those non-Democrat Never Trumpers call us names like minions, cultists, and Trump-bots.  They argue that we have no principles and those of us who are followers of Jesus Christ are deemed heretics and our sin is unforgivable.  I’ve been told by other believers that my support for Trump is a sign that I am not saved and have abandoned my faith.  But, if I counter, I am accused of being judgmental, a racist, bigot, or some other name.  I have learned that life is a two-way street.

When I review the history of mankind in the Bible, I find some interesting happenings.  I discover that God sometimes used people who were not saintly to achieve His purposes.  His purposes are always redemptive and used to bring His people to their senses and, at times, to defeat the enemy that was a threat to His people. 

I did not vote for Donald John Trump because I considered him a saint.  I did not vote for him because I worship him, as one person accused me of doing.  I voted for him because he was other than where we had been and where we were heading.  I voted for him to bring about a restoration of those principles upon which we were founded and hopefully drain the swamp.

In this quest by the Left, which can be called nothing but a ‘coup’ against President Trump, it matters not that there is no evidence of a crime or corruption.  Each failed attempt is followed closely by another attempt.  When the Russian hoax failed, they created another and another and another.  The Ukraine charge is another fabrication but if or when it fails, there will be another.  If Trump wins a second term, the rhetoric and resistance will not diminish it will escalate.  We are treading in dangerous waters and I am terrified by what I see as the potential outcome of their ‘dedication to destruction.’

Nancy Pelosi was asked what she would do if the whistleblower accusation involving Ukraine collapsed.  She said, “We have many other, shall we say, candidates for impeachable offense in terms of the Constitution of the United States but this is the one most understood by the public.”  WHAT?  That is saying that no matter the lack of evidence and no matter how many times Trump and his team swat down the charges and expose their fallacy, there will be another effort to drive him from office.  If that is not a total ‘dedication to destruction’, a ‘coup’, or ‘witch hunt’, what is? 

America, is that what we want from elected officials?  Do we want a Party in power who spends all their efforts, energy, and taxpayer funds in a quest to destroy the elected president?  I thought that by now, Americans would wake up and realize that the ‘do nothing but attack’ tactic of the Democratic Party is damaging our Republic and system of government, but they haven’t.  Millions are completely oblivious to the damage and dangers or they just don’t care, and both are tarrying.

Immediately upon his election or within 24-hours there were riots in the streets and the massive destruction of public property.  How many of those took place when Barack Hussein Obama was elected?  Do you remember the publicized announcement by the organizers at Act Now to Stop and End Racism (ANSWER) announced?

“In a shock result, Donald Trump has been elected president – but the people can rise up and defeat his bigoted, extreme right-wing agenda! The ANSWER Coalition is mobilizing across the country to organize and take part in emergency actions.”

On December 15, 2016, just weeks after the election, Vanity Fair published an article by Emily Jane Fox with the headline – “Democrats Are Paving the Way to Impeach Donald Trump.”  He was not even inaugurated president and already they were laying the groundwork to charge, try, and convict him in both in the court of public opinion and in Congress.  His first term was being defined by the Left as one of constant contention and organized efforts to block, resist, and destroy him.  If America was damaged in the process their attitude was “damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead.”  Their mortal enemy had to be destroyed!

America, if we do not wake up and see what is happening and prevent it from continuing, we are inflicting what may be a mortal wound to the Republic.  You may not like or support President Trump, that’s your choice.  I have no problem with you not liking him or liking his policies.  I do have a problem with your complicity in destroying our Republic and System of Government.  If you don’t like him, remember we have elections.  I was not a Trump fan in the primaries or before, but I like where we are and support him.  There are times, he does or says something that causes me pause.  However, what he has done positive and good for the Republic is, to me, undeniable and worthy of praise. 

I am grateful for the restoration of our economy, a restoration that Obama and the Democrats claimed to be impossible.  I am grateful for the lowering of taxes across the board which has helped millions not just the wealthy.  I am grateful for the attempts to protect our freedom of speech, religious liberties, inalienable rights, and bolster our military strength so that we are safer as a nation.  I am grateful for the nominees and appointees to the courts who are far more constitutionally minded than any of Obama and some of Bush.  I am grateful for the attempts to stem the tide of illegals invading our country for whatever reason they seek to come.  I see many conservative and constitutional actions he has taken and am grateful. 

I ask that you consider where we were and where we are.  I ask you to ask yourself, “Do I really want to allow America to be transformed into a Socialist nation and see more and more government control?”  If you do not want to go back to the destructive policies of Obama or move forward into the Socialism being proposed – VOTE NO on the Democrats!

MY VETERAN’S DAY TRIBUTE – – REMEMBERING OUR HEROES…


As we celebrate the national holiday honoring our veterans, Veteran’s Day, it is with an awareness of the disdain many on the Left have for our military, I choose to honor and remember our American heroes.  I am a proud Vietnam Veteran.  You can think what you will of that war, but I served my country and defend my brothers in arms who served and fought.  I stand with my brothers and sisters in uniform who have and are serving, you are worthy of all the praise we can heap upon you.  Thank you for your service!

I would like to begin my tribute to our American heroes by mentioning some from the Revolutionary war.  We all know of George Washington’s leadership and exploits and the other more prominent figures of that era, so I will not focus on them.  However, there are some who are little known that contributed magnificently to the cause of Freedom and in our victory.

One such man was Henry Knox of Boston.  He was a teen-aged street brawler, and some have said, “fighting was in his blood.”  He was the co-founder of the Boston Grenadier Corps.  He studied extensively military tactics although he had no formal military education.  Knox was a key figure in the first victory by the colonist in the war and helped to force the British out of Boston. 

Knox was assigned the task of transporting cannons from Fort Ticonderoga some 300 miles overland in difficult winter terrain.  He used enormous ox-drawn sleds and moved the cannons to their strategic position at Dorchester Heights and forced the British to evacuate.  He seemed to have a unique knack for reading men and sensing ability others missed.  He managed the logistics for Washington’s crossing of the Delaware.  I salute you Henry Knox and thank you for your service and contribution to Freedom!

Most have heard of Nathanael Green but maybe you did not know that he was born a Quaker, raised a pacifist, and suffered from asthma.  He was from Rhode Island and denied election as an officer in the Kentish Guard militia that he helped to form in 1774 because he had a pronounced limp. 

George Washington saw something in him that others apparently did not see and appointed him the youngest brigadier general in the Continental Army in 1775 although he had not seen combat.  He experienced major successes at the battles of Trenton and Germantown.  Some believe that Washington would have wanted him to command the Continental Army had anything happened to Washington.  I salute you Nathanael Green and thank you for your service and contribution to Freedom!

Unfortunately, some do not know of the exploits of Alvin York in WW I.  He has been called WW I’s ‘greatest civilian soldier.’  He served despite the conflict in his heart as a conscientious objector.  He was a devout man from the small mountain town of Pall Mall, Tennessee. 

His request to be exempted from military service based on his religious beliefs was denied and in 1918. He was then transported to the front-lines with the 82nd Division of the U.S. Army.  On October 8, 1918, York’s incredible act of courage and valor took place.  He and his small band of brothers captured 132 German soldiers and he killed over 20 German soldiers forcing the Germans to surrender.  He was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his heroics.  Sergeant York, I salute you and thank you for your service and contribution to Freedom! 

We would be remiss to fail to mention Henry Johnson, a black man, and the most famous member of the “Harlem Hellfighters.” This was an all-black National Guard unit among the first American forces to arrive in the European theater in WW I.  Initially, he and his fellow Hellfighters were assigned menial duties.

On May 14, 1918, Johnson and another Hellfighter, Needham Roberts, while serving sentry duty were attacked by 20 German soldiers.  Both were wounded in the battle and Roberts was so badly wounded he could no longer stand and fire but held his position with hand grenades and his rifle.  When Johnson saw that the Germans were attempting to capture Roberts drew his one remaining weapon, a bolo knife and slashed and stabbed the Germans until the retreated.  He suffered 21 wounds from gunfire and bayonets and those two men were awarded the Croix de Guerre, one of France’s highest military honors. 

Unfortunately, his stand was unrecognized and unrewarded by the U.S. Army until 1996 when he was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart and later the Distinguished Cross in 2003.  Henry Johnson and Needham Roberts, I salute you and thank you for your service and contribution to Freedom!

When we remember WW II, we know the most famous names and they are deserving of all the honor they are given.  However, do we remember men like Lt. Colonel Matt Urban?  He was the most decorated American officer of the war and that is incredibly impressive.  He fought in seven campaigns and was wounded seven times.  He was so invincible the Germans called him “the ghost.” 

Lt. Colonel Urban won the Congressional Medal of Honor for ten acts of heroics and bravery during the Normandy campaign.  He took on multiple enemy tanks with a bazooka while walking on a cane because of a broken leg endured at the landing on Utah Beach.  He once broke out of the hospital, hitchhiked to the front, and immediately immersed himself in the conflict.  He found an abandoned tank and drove it toward the enemy line with no crew.  Lt. Colonel Urban, I salute you and thank you for your service and contribution to Freedom!

Another hero of that war was Master Sergeant Llewellyn Chilson called the “One Man Army.”  His heroics and bravery were amazing, and President Truman pinned seven medals on him after the war.  He was captured in Italy with three other soldiers and promptly escaped taking 40 prisoners with him.  He took an enemy hill in Southern France with 25 enemy soldiers on it and fighting on the Rhine in March 1945 he took out six German guns and vehicles, crawling from position to position blowing them up.  His unit killed, wounded, or captured over 200 German troops and liberated an entire town. Master Sergeant Chilson, I salute you and thank you for your service and your contribution to Freedom!

In considering the Vietnam War it would be appropriate to honor those whose names are on the Wall and those who never came home and are still listed as POWs or MIAs.  Another name worthy of honor is Major Drew Dix, the last of four men from Pueblo, Colorado, to receive the Congressional Medal of Honor and the first Special Forces soldier to receive that honor.

Dix was a Special Forces Staff Sergeant in 1968 and fought in the Tet Offensive on January 31, 1968.  I came home at the end of December 1967, so this is powerful for me.  He supervised a small group of South Vietnamese soldiers as they attacked the city of Chau Phu and faced two heavily armed Viet Cong battalions.  Dix systematically and, at times, singlehandedly, attacked multiple building, killing or driving out enemy forces and rescued fourteen civilians.  Over two days of fighting Dix and his small group of soldiers killed numerous Viet Cong and capture many more.  Major Nix, I salute you and thank you for your service, and your contribution to Freedom!

Others to be remembered and honored are Navy Lt. Thomas R. Norris and Petty Officer 3rd Class Nguyen Van Kiet.  Lt. Norris was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor and Petty Officer Kiet the Silver Star.  On April 2, 1972, an EB-66 carrying Lt. Colonel Iceal Hambleton was shot down near the DMZ and in the middle of the North’s Easter Offensive.  Hamilton’s knowledge of critical information made him a high priority for rescue.  Air efforts only resulted in more losses and finally, a ground excursion was ordered.  The man in charge of this mission was Navy Seal, Lt. Thomas Norris and he led a five-man team into hostile territory and recovered another downed flyer Lt. Mark Clark the son of WWII General Mark Clark. 

Lt. Norris led a second mission and was unsuccessful in locating Hambleton and time was expiring on his dangerous and critical mission.  He was accompanied by only a Vietnamese Commando, Nguyen Van Kiet disguising themselves as fishermen and traveled deep into enemy territory.  They managed to locate Hambleton and rescued him.  As they were making their way back to their base in a small sampan they came under heavy fire, which Norris was able to neutralize by being eyes for a strategic airstrike.  Lt. Norris, I salute you and thank you for your service and your contribution to Freedom!

It would be impossible to list all the wars and heroes.  I apologize for not listing those from the Korean War and the more current wars and battles and the countless others deserving of mention.  On this Veteran’s Day, thank a Veteran and let them know you appreciate their contributions and sacrifices.  Also, thank the families of the Veterans for they too sacrificed.  But most importantly, thank God for allowing us to live in the Free Constitutional Republic known as the United States of America.  Thank God for Freedom and join the millions of us who are committed to fighting for Faith, Family, and Freedom.

THEY ARE COMING TO TAKE US AWAY – Hey Hey…


I use a line from Napoleon Xiv’s song of the 1960s, “They’re Coming to Take Me Away Hahaaa” in discussing the view of the Left toward us who do not march to their drummer and comply.  They believe that we are the scourge of the earth and need to be eradicated.  They do not just want to defeat us at the polls but annihilate us and rid the planet of our infectious disobedience to their mandate of subservience. 

Millions of us demonstrated our utter distaste for the politics of toxic liberalism in 2016. We refused to obediently vote for Hillary Rodham Clinton the presumptive favorite and heir apparent to take the mantle from Barack Hussein Obama.  She was their hope to achieve the total and complete ‘fundamental transformation’ of our Republic into a Leftist Tyranny that would last generations if not permanently.  We disappointed them!  No, we rebelled against them and that, to them, is worthy of a death sentence!  How dare we, the deplorable segment of society, fail to fulfill their expectations?  How dare we? 

They somewhat tolerated us when we elected George W. Bush over Al Gore and then over John Kerry.  They wanted to squash us like bugs then but realized they did not have the political clout to achieve that objective, so they waited.  Then, after years of painting George W as the devil himself and an inept warmonger, they preyed on the fears of America and gave us Barack Hussein Obama. 

Obama is referred to as the first black president but if I have my facts straight, his mother was white and his father black.  Would he not be the first half-black and half-white president, not simply the first black president? 

If white privilege is real, why did Obama opt to be identified as a black man, not a white man or a half-white man?  He, almost single-handedly, turned back the clock 50 years regarding race relations during his eight years as president. He repeatedly painted the police as the villains and defended any criminal or accused who were non-white.  His policies shipwrecked our economy, forced Obamacare down the throats of Americans and did incredible if not irreversible damage to healthcare in America.  He destroyed our relations with other nations and weakened our military to a dangerous level. 

Millions finally said, “Enough!”  When Donald Trump, almost miraculously, won the Republican nomination and then the election we crossed the proverbial line in the sand and that was the last straw for the Left.  The Left wanted our money through taxation, fees, fines, and regulations and when we gave Trump the White House, we presented a brief roadblock to their confiscation.  No, the Republicans have not reduced spending as we hoped, and as they promised, but taxation was reduced and that is a small silver lining behind the dark clouds of government tyranny. 

The Left has now determined that they want everything.  They want our guns, our money, our freedom, and our country.  They are not satisfied with simply winning the election they want Trump’s complete annihilation.  However, I believe that if they were to achieve that objective, we, the voters who did not line up with the Left’s mandate, would be next.  They continue to produce scurrilous allegations and accusers against Trump, and anyone associated with him.  The Media is a willing ally in this coup against America the Free Constitutional Republic. 

This Impeachment and Destruction quest they are on is not about finding the truth or supporting the Rule of Law.  It is to send a clear message to any future candidate who might be of the mold of Donald Trump, a non-politician who is willing to take on the Establishment and stand for America and Americans, don’t try.  They hope to damage him so much in the public view that if they win in 2020, they can claim their victory was a “Mandate from the People” to move toward Liberalism and Socialism.  We are clearly in the cross-hairs of their political sniper rifles. 

They are attempting to revoke our citizenship through the eradication of our borders.  They want to make us ‘citizens of the world’ and erase the national sovereignty of the Republic.  They will use voter fraud, lies, distortion, deception, and a 24/7/365 media blitz to achieve their goal. 

We already see in some cities and states the full force of Political Correctness.  Some terms are now deemed illegal such as, “illegal aliens” in New York.  They have gone insane in attacking ‘plastic straws’ while providing ‘sanctuary’ to illegals and criminals in California and other parts of the nation.  They want to achieve a full ‘gun ban’ and are working behind the scenes to achieve that objective through banks and other regulations preventing gun manufacturers or gun purchasers from obtaining loans.

They want our cars because cars represent freedom and they dare not leave us with any freedoms.  A Free People is not a controlled people and never doubt they want control.  They are deeming it unnecessary that any person has more than 300 square feet per person to live in.  They are targeting large private residences, except for their elitist hierarchy.  They are seeking to make energy and fuel for homes and automobiles so costly that we give up private homes and embrace public transportation. 

If it was just putting us in high-rise condominiums and making us use public transportation it would be bad, but it would not end there.  They would then determine where we could live, where we could travel and when as well as what doctors we could see, if any, and where we could work and as well as what we could eat.  Call me Chicken Little if you please but before you do read the Agenda 21 proposals of the United Nations and their Sustainable Development Objective. 

They are also targeting our Freedom of Religion. They are seeking to mandate that we violate our core religious convictions and interpretations of the Bible. Their desire is to force us into compliance and demand that we accept and facilitate lifestyles and actions that are anathema to our faith. 

They want our children and have been working to indoctrinate them for generations in public schools.  They will target home-schooling on the premise that it is counterproductive for people fully assimilating into society.  They will deem the lack of control over the curriculum dangerous and demand that the government mandate what is taught, how it is taught, when and where it is taught. 

Impeaching Donald John Trump is their shot across the bow to tell us to “Get in line with their mandate or else!”  I say, “NO!  Not without a fight!”  I believe in God, I stand by the Bible and will defend the Republic with my dying breath if necessary.  I have drawn my line in the sand and said, “No More!”  I will vote NO on the Democrats and reject their agenda.  I will vote for President Trump in 2020 as a vote for America!

AMERICA’S BARBARIC HEALTH CARE?


I have a suggestion for Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) regarding America, American’s health care system, and Canada.  That suggestion is, “If it is that great in Canada and so bad in America you might want a change in your zip code.”  Seriously, if America’s system is, as he has said, ‘barbaric’ and Canada’s is ‘perfect’ then sir, since you live so near the border, why not simply move a little further North and your problems and frustrations will be over. 

Senator Sanders, if the Canadian System is Perfect and America’s System is broken beyond repair and if the America people continue to reject your radicalism why not consider my proposal.  I’m sure the Canadians would welcome you with open arms.  Well, maybe, but I suspect that after a bit of your irrational ranting and diatribe you might find that your brand of radicalism not fully embraced among our neighbors to the North.  I could be wrong and only by your moving there could we know for certain, so amuse us and do it.

The factual data reveals that Senator Sanders’ view of Canada compared to America is inaccurate.  Patients like his mother fare much worse in Canada than in the United States.  Health Care in the Canadian style system embodies lengthy delays and even denials of care. 

That is one of the reasons that Canadians who can afford to do so, come to the United States for treatment.  The factual data reveals that Canadians cannot ‘just go to the doctor whenever they want to and not have to take out their wallets’. That view is factually inaccurate.  The data from last year reveals that the median wait to see a specialist after seeing the general practitioner in Canada was 20 weeks.  That was disclosed by the Fraser Institute, a Vancouver-based think tank.  It is even worse in some provinces and many, wait over 40 weeks.  Does that sound perfect?

Imagine a system where a person is doomed to wait for months to see a specialist, but their condition prevents them from working.  If they do not have disability insurance, they could be forced to forego thousands of dollars in income.  Some research has revealed that the ‘wait times’ in Canada cost Canadians $2.1 billion Canadian dollars in 2018.  Does that sound perfect? 

We know from health reports here in the USA that many Canadians, due to the direness of their illness, sometimes life-threatening, pay out of pocket for treatment here.  They go to other parts of the world as well fighting to ‘stay alive’ while their prefect system withholds treatment due to ‘wait times’. 

Senator Sanders, before you tout the Perfectness of that system and the Barbaric nature of our system come into the present.  I suggest that you stop viewing everything regarding health care through the eyes of your childhood.  I suggest that you realize that your personal experience does not equate to the experience of everyone and is not indicative of what others experience.

Senator Sanders, I can appreciate your dismay and disappointment over the fact that your mother and your family could not afford her care.  I can appreciate the fact that losing your mother at a young age was traumatic.  I can appreciate your desire and belief that there is a better way and want to see it implemented.  But, sir, I suggest that you get your facts straight before you launch into an attempt to obliterate our system of finance and health care. 

Senator Sanders, do you not realize that the ‘Free Health Care’ of Canada is paid for through the taxation of the people?  Reports are that Canadians pay more than $4,500 Canadian dollars for a single adult and over $13,300 CDN for an average family of four.  That was the numbers in 2018 and I suspect it will grow worse in the coming years.  Is that Perfect and how does that make America’s system Barbaric? 

Not only do they have to pay, the delays or lengthy, but Canada is losing doctors and the data from 2018 was that they had fewer than three doctors and fewer than three hospital beds for every 1,000 residents.  Does that sound perfect?  They have less than 16 CT Scanners for every one million people.  The United States has about three times that number.  Scanners that can detect and help diagnose many diseases, including cancer. 

There are numerous reports of people in Canada experiencing incredible pain. They had requested colonoscopies, CT Scans, etc. but were delayed until the disease has spread to the point it was inoperable and they were doomed to die for lack of early and proper treatment.  Does that sound perfect? 

I read of a woman in Canada, Sharon Shemblaw, a 46-year-old mother of three from Ontario who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in August 2015.  The doctors told her that a stem-cell transplant would give her an 80% chance of survival.  Her local hospital did not have the resources to treat her.  She sought treatment in the United States, but by the time she got to Buffalo, New York the disease had progressed to the point it was too late. 

Our system is not perfect and needs adjustments, but it is among the best in the world.  Medicare for All or any Government-Run Health Care System transfers the decision making from the patient and his/her doctor and places it in the hands of bureaucrats or politicians. 

I have Medicare because I have no other viable alternative.  I live with the constant concern that the politicians will render begin to mandate that Medicare ‘not pay’ for various care or insist on ‘delays’ and ‘denials’ for certain care at certain a certain age.  I am thankful that we have the system we have, warts and all.  Medication is, at times, almost extortion, but at least I can still get care when I need care, and from the doctor I desire.

So, Senator Sanders if you hate our system so much and you are once again rejected, maybe Canada is a good option for you.  Let me throw in this little addendum and say to the Robert De Niro’s of America.  Why don’t you go to one of the countries that are under the thumb of a Tyrant and Dictator and use your potty mouth to trash him? 

I know why because you know that you would last about 30-seconds before being carted off to jail if not executed on the spot.  Everyone, please stop trashing America and let’s unite in prayer and in a genuine effort to ‘Make America Great Again.’  We have been and can be again.  We have problems but they are not impossible to overcome.  United we stand, divided we fall.
