I, like many of you, have brown exhausted by the continual “Russia Did It, Russia Did It” cry of the Left, the MSM, the NEVER TRUMPERS, and Establishment Politicians.  After this long, if there was anything real it would have surfaced and now anything that surfaces will likely be a fabrication or distortion based on innuendo, not fact.  This nightmare should be laid to rest and done so quickly.

However, recently two pieces of information have surfaced and been reported by Politico and The Washington Post that give us two trails that suggest some very important truths not being discussed.  Facts and revelations that will be ignored by the Left, the MSM, and the Establishment Republicans.  What are those two trails?  One is that the Obama administration was warned in 2014 about potential Russian interference or involvement in our political process.  The second is that in early 2016 the Trump team was contacted by the Russians with an offer to help and were rejected.  That leads to the question, “Who really colluded with the Russians?” or “Who created a situation where there could be Russian involvement?”  If you follow those two stories you can conclude only one thing, it was not Donald J. Trump.  That only leaves one other possibility, which will never be acknowledged by the Democrats, the MSM, the Leftist, or the Establishment Republicans and Never Trump Crowd.  It was Barack Hussein Obama.

Why would the Obama administration fail to acknowledge the Russian threat and why would they fail to take any definitive steps to prevent it?  That would be virtually impossible to answer conclusively but I would suggest that then President Obama was terrified of what Russia might do if he acted forcefully and definitively.  Another possibility is that he thought in his narcissistic mind that the Russians would help him and the Democrats.  He and most of those in Washington, DC failed and continue to fail to comprehend that the Russians were not interested in helping either candidate but to damage confidence in our political system and thereby damage our Republic.  That has been a goal of the communist regimes of the world for decades and with Russia or the USSR, it dates back to Nikita Khrushchev and beyond.  It is not a new tactic or desire of those regimes. The deeper question is why Obama would say, “I spoke to Putin and told him to stop it and he did.”  SERIOUSLY?  Who believed that?  Imagine Putin being obedient to the weak American president?  That is beyond laughable.  Beyond that how about the Democrat involvement with the Ukraine elections and seeking help for a foreign government in the elections?  Nobody is dealing with that.  Why?  That is too obvious to need a response but with the Anti-Trump groups, the anything is justifiable if it does harm or insinuates wrong by Donald Trump or his team.

The other shoe that I want to drop, not that it will get any traction outside those who are defenders of the Constitution, is the Washington Post story that Team Trump rejected offers to meet with the Russians in early 2016.  Newly leaked emails reveal that during the Primary the Trump Team rejected offers to meet with Russian officials, citing legality and protocol issues.  It seems that campaign volunteer George Papadopoulos tried to set up some meetings with the Trump Team and Russian officials.  Paul Manafort and others in the Trump Camp immediately rejected those offers.  Sam Clovis and retired Admiral Charles Kubic slammed the door on those meetings.  They cited legal restrictions and the possible violation of the Logan act.  This information lends credibility to the argument that there was NO COLLUSION and NO “back-channels” between Putin and Trump to take down Hillary Clinton.

What is sad about these new media stories is that it will not end the false narrative about Trump and the Russians because the Democrats and the NEVER TRUMPIST cannot accept that Trump won.  They didn’t want him to and therefore he should not have won and because they do not think he should have won, anything is justifiable in their pursuit to ‘take him out’ and ‘remove him from office.’  Also, there will be nothing done regarding Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, or the many Democrats whose hands are dirty with corruption, scandal, and nefarious actions.  We have a divided nation and as I heard a person say to a national radio host, “I want Trump impeached,” based on nothing more than this individual didn’t want him to win.

If anyone things Washington DC is a moral high ground, they are delusional.  If anyone thinks that the political establishment of either party is trustworthy, they are living outside the realm of reality.  I don’t mind political parties objecting and trying to get what they want to be enacted in legislation but I do object to participating in the destruction of the Republic, as is now taking place.  Someone said recently, “What Trump is facing is no different than what Obama faced with the Republicans.”  I WISH THEY WERE NOT SERIOUS, but they were.  There is a dramatic difference in that Obama did not have to contend with detractors in his own party as we saw in Obamacare and many other illegal and unconstitutional actions he took.  NOT A HINT OF RESISTANCE FROM THE LEFT.  Today, Donald Trump is dealing with a Democrat Party that has vowed REFUSAL TO NEGOTIATE with Trump but insists that he negotiate with North Korea.  He is dealing with a Democrat Party that has vowed to do whatever it takes to stop his agenda and impeach him.  If it were just the minority party resisting and obstructing I could overlook it but some of the Republicans are joining in the opposition and that makes what President Trump is facing dramatically different from what President Obama faced.

If you are fed up with the Obstructionism and the Phony Investigations I urge you to begin a letter writing, email, phone call campaign to your elected officials and the leadership in the House and Senate notifying them of your displeasure and put them on notice that WE ARE STILL AWAKE and WE ARE STILL ANGRY.

The Framers, as they are called, elected to hold their deliberations in secret free from the prying eyes of the press or anyone on the outside of the Constitutional Convention.  Their expressed reason from doing so was to enable each delegate to freely speak from the heart and convey, argue, contend, or propose those ideas and sentiments they held as core convictions regarding they type scope, and style of the American government.  Our fledgling nation operated under the Articles of Confederation in the ensuing years after the end of the Revolutionary War and our victory.  Those Articles rendered the Federal Government so impotent that each state did whatever it wanted with no regard for the whole and there was genuine concern that the new nation would not evolve into a Republic but would implode and become prey to more powerful and organized nations.  Each of the thirteen states operated as a virtually independent country and some contributed to the support of the national government, some didn’t, and none paid their fully assigned share.  It became increasingly evident that something had to be done to preserve the Union and the independence recently won and yet protect the rights of the individuals and states.  This was a major undertaking and the outcome still amazes me when I consider what I know of the sentiments of that era and as I view the politics of today.  I contend that we would never achieve what they achieved under today’s method of operation and political division, although I affirm that we need to do something.  We need to return to their objective, LIMITED GOVERNMENT but strong enough to provide for the common defense and hold the union together forming a Strong Union and Republic.

The fifty-five delegates from the thirteen states that gathered on May 25, 1787, Philadelphia’s Independence Hall found their task not without difficulty and almost failed on numerous occasions.  Fifty-five people represented numerous ideological and political positions and most who held those positions were firmly entrenched in their beliefs.  George Washington was unanimously elected as the president of the convention and from all accounts, his integrity and honesty brought significant balance to the convention and kept it from jumping the rails and ending in chaos and confusion.  Most of the delegates were in their thirties and forties and well educated.  Their ranks included lawyers, bankers, merchants, and farmers with Benjamin Franklin being the oldest at eighty-one.  Thomas Jefferson and John Adams were absent due to serving as ambassadors in Europe.  John Jay, Samuel Adams, John Hancock were also absent and Patrick Henry refused to attend believing that he “smelled a rat” and the convention would ultimately jeopardize the rights of states and individuals.  James Madison was only twenty-six years of age and fortunately years earlier Thomas Jefferson had sent him crates of books on various forms of governments and he studied them diligently.  He became known as the “Father of the Constitution” and was a key advocate of the “Bill of Rights.” 

For four months, the delegates labored to hammer out a compromise that established an amazing system of government that was flexible enough to withstand more than two centuries of change.  There were many issues that divided the delegates including slavery, popular voice of the people, and states’ rights.  Benjamin Franklin, sensing the danger of the entire convention falling apart make his infamous appeal based on Psalm 127:1.  I will give a portion of his plea: “I have lived, sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid?  We have been assured, Sir, in the Sacred Writings, that ‘except the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain that build it.’  I firmly believe this, and I also believe that without His concurring aid we shall succeed in this political building no better than the builders of Babel: We shall be divided by our partial local interests; our projects will be confounded, and we ourselves shall become a reproach and bye word down to future ages.  And what is worse, mankind may hereafter from this unfortunate instance, despair of establishing governments by human wisdom and leave it to chance, war, and conquest.  I, therefore, beg leave to move that henceforth prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven, and its blessings on our deliberations, be held in this assembly every morning before we proceed to business and that one or more of the clergy of the city be requested to officiate in that service.”  That is an awesome recognition of the Hand and Providence of God in Government and in Life.

There have been and could be entire volumes written on the deliberations and the subsequent government that was reached in their wisdom and the guidance of the divine.  Even after they arrived at a final draft of the Constitution there were those who resisted because it did not clearly protect people’s basic civil rights, such as freedom of religion, speech, and press.  Samuel Adams and John Hancock agreed to support the constitution only after these three liberties were included in a compromise on February 6^th.   Patrick Henry, George Mason, and later Richard Henry Lee led the fight for the inclusion of a “Bill of Rights”.  Many of the Framers believed those were included in the State Constitutions but those pressing for this action won the debate and thankfully we have the “Bill of Rights” included in our Constitution.

James Madison declared regarding the type of government they sought in the Constitution and Bill of Rights, “The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined.  Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite.”  That was then and this is now according to the Progressives, Liberals, and politicians that sentiment and document are inadequate and antiquated.  The Framers and Founders desired, designed, and presented a system of government that was LIMITED on the federal level and provided safeguards to prevent a Tyrannical Federal bureaucracy.  We have allowed politicians and pundits to erode those safeguards and the federal government designed to be LIMITED has become a behemoth that believes it is ALL POWERFUL and rather than being a government where the ultimate power is in the hands of the citizens it has become a government where ultimate power is in Washington and little or none vested in the citizens.  THAT MUST CHANGE!

The hypocritical faux piousness of the Left in attempting to paint the Trump administration as evil and often the ultimate evil is disturbing.  The attempt of the Left to connect Donald Trump and his team to the Russians while insisting that Hillary would have and should have won were it not for the Russians stealing our election is frustrating.  They attempt to question everything that anyone connected to President Trump while ignoring the glaring discrepancies from their members.  The ever expanding, revelation of the deviousness and diabolicalness of the Left through leaked, hacked, exposed, or revealed emails of many from Hillary herself, the DNC, John Podesta, and others including Rahm Emmanuel is incredible.  How they can continue their incessant pursuit of disruption and destruction of our system of government is almost beyond belief.  It would be, were it not that we understand their ideological position and the fact they have demonstrated a desire and willingness to destroy our Constitutional Republican Form of Government to insert and install their brand of Progressive Socialist Tyranny.

Mayor Emmanuel apparently violated existing laws via his private email account.  Those emails would not have become known were it not for the Freedom of Information Act and organizations willing to fight the system to bring truth to the table.  The DNC’s emails revealed the collusion between the Hillary Camp and the DNC Elitist to deny Bernie Sanders a fair shot at the nomination.  The emails of John Podesta revealed the same collusion and even went beyond exposing the dangers of Hillary’s private email server and our national security.  The emails of Donna Brazile and her releasing questions, in advance, to Hillary’s camp before the debates should trouble everyone.  The revelations of some deals between the Clinton Foundation and foreign governments, the pay for play, the collusion, and corruption that continues to surface by Democrats is ignored by the Press and members of Congress justify those actions while vilifying the Trump nominees and Trump himself.  ARE WE THAT IGNORANT AMERICA?  They think we are, and by our continuing to reelect many of them and send more like them to the hallowed halls of Congress we confirm their belief.

It has come to light that John Podesta had a role with Rusnano, a state-run company founded by Russian President Vladimir Putin.  The Democrats have insisted they had no connection to the Russians but Trump and his surrogates did.  This, of course, will get no play on the national news scene and no Democrat in Congress will call for an investigation.  WHY?  He’s a Democrat and Democrats are good but Republicans are evil, at least in their minds and narrative. The limited information people accept it as Law and Gospel and then parrot the rhetoric and talking points, “Republicans Evil – Democrats Good.”  John Podesta, we now know, first made contact with that company in 2011, when he joined the boards and executive committees of three related entities:  Boston-based Joule Unlimited, Rotterdam-based Joule Global Holdings; Joule Global Stichting, the company’s controlling interest.  These are high-tech renewable energy enterprises.  He accepted a ONE BILLION RUBLE investment from Rusnanao, which is approximate $35 MILLION in U.S. Currency.  To complicate the matter more, Podesta joined Obama’s White House Staff in 2014 but DID NOT DISCLOSE his 2011 Joule stock vesting agreement in his disclosure form.  HEAVEN FORBID, if a Republican omits even a small item they are deemed UNQUALIFIED to serve and the question arises as to whether they should be PROSECUTED.  Why not with Podesta?  There is an email trail that reveals he continued to work for or with that company EVEN AFTER he joined Obama’s staff.  VIOLATION OF LAW and ETHICS, so where is the outcry?  This links back to Hillary and Bill Clinton and their foundation and although the political arms of the FBI, CIA, NSA, Homeland and the DOJ all want to ignore Hillary and Obama’s illegalities the Truth is the Truth.

The corruption, complicity, and collusion of the Democrats with foreign entities and governments should disqualify them from investigating anyone and should cause their antics to be laughed at by the public.  Sadly, it does not, and the willingness of many to believe that ALL REPUBLICANS are the devil incarnate is posing an incredible danger for America.  If we want to salvage our Republic we MUST demand that Congress cease focusing on Partisan Politics and focus on America’s needs and problems.  STOP FISHING FOR DIRT and START DOING YOUR REAL WORK. 

I pray that each of us WAKE UP, and realize what is happening in Congress and begin immediate action to SERVE NOTICE on Washington that this will no longer get a free pass and failure to PERFORM THEIR DUTY will result in each of them facing a formidable opponent in the Primaries and possibly TERMINATED as a Congressman or Senator.  Draining the Swamp one legislator at a time is a path we must be willing to pursue.

What do they know?  They know that organizations like the Muslim Brotherhood are terrorist.  They acknowledge it but the Leftist and some on the Right seem to have difficulty with calling a spade a spade.  I supposed those on the Right are afraid of being charged with Islamophobia or being xenophobic.  Why some on the Right allow the intimidation of the name calling of the Left to influence their actions and force them into the shadows is beyond me, but they do.

Most conservatives and constitutionalist recognize the grave threat of aggressive Islam and Islamic terrorism.  The former administration sought to put a gag order on any use of the term Islamic terrorism or jihadism.  In their view, any criticism of Islam was taboo and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch suggested it was an actionable offense that could result in federal charges being filed.  That is so foreign to rational reason one would think the public outcry would have been so loud the former President and A/G would have toned down their rhetoric, but not so.

The Trump administration is considering designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, and I hope they do because they are.  The majority of the Arab, Muslim world knows what they are and calling them terrorist is like calling the Pope Catholic.  I find it amazing that Saudi Arabia, Russia, Syria, Bahrain, and the UAE have all officially identified the Muslim Brotherhood as a terror organization but not the United States.  WHY? Why have we failed to identify them for what they are and continued to allow them to have free access to much in America?  WHY? 

The Muslim Brotherhood promotes and encourages violent jihadism and conducts it themselves in Egypt. They sponsor Hamas in its terrorism against Israel.  They follow the most radical doctrinal interpretation of the Quran and are takfiri (a Muslim that accuses another Muslim of apostasy). They, like the most radical jihadist, regularly call other Muslims infidels because they do not adhere to the most violent tenets of Islam.  I hope you remember how close we were to the Muslim Brotherhood having a seat at the table in the White House had Hillary been elected.  Her closest confidant Huma Abedin is from the Muslim Brotherhood family.  There are significant sums of money flowing into Democratic coffers from Islamic jihadist with the lion’s share going to their fellow Muslim Keith Ellison who is the Deputy Head of the DNC.  Does that suggest where the Democrat Party is heading?  It does unless you choose to bury your head in the sand.  The jihadists are at war with the world and hold a special hatred for Israel and America and to deny that is to expose all of us to incredible danger.

In the U.K. one of the most influential and recognizable Think Tanks conducted a Poll or a Survey among TEN European Nations and found that the citizens of EIGHT of TEN wanted a TOTAL MUSLIM BAN not just a selective ban from certain countries that have weak or no vetting.  WHY?  Because they see, first hand, the problems with the massive influx of Muslim immigrants into their nations.  They have experienced the problems and have sounded the alarm repeated to America and thus far, we have ignored the warnings.  I am hopeful and prayerful that President Trump will hold firm and continue to identify the problem and take the actions necessary to make America Safe or Safer.

In Sweden, the government statistics indicate a rise in ‘rape’ and other ‘violent crimes’ since the massive influx of Muslim immigrants or refugees.  Women in Sweden are reported to feeling unsafe in their own neighborhoods much less the highly populated Muslim sectors.  However, the Swedish government has refused to deport the rapists and that is causing an outcry from the women of that nation and causing concern across Europe and much of the world.  The reports that only 1 in 5 foreign rapists is deported in that country, so would it be a wonder that women feel unsafe?

The idea in America is that we need refugees and immigrants because they do jobs Americans won’t do.  First, if that is true bringing more immigrants will not resolve that problem it will only postpone the inevitable.  Second, how can flooding our shores with illegals be deemed a good or advisable situation?  How does having people who are breaking the law, using false documents, and hiding in the shadows contribute to society?  If they are excused for breaking one law what is to deter them from breaking another or having any regard for our laws?  What does that attitude say to various elements of our legal citizenry?  It suggests that the Law is to be selectively obeyed and you can pick and choose what law you deem applicable to you, thus endangering our way of life.  It may not cause our society to crumble immediately but will be like water wearing away a rock over time.  That is not the America our Framers and Founders fought for and deliberated to produce.  It is not the America that most Americans desire.  It is the America of FUNDAMENTAL TRANSFORMATION and that transformation is to a Socialist or Marxist Society where the government is totalitarian and authoritarian.  How could any American who loves freedom be willing to see that become reality?

We must stand for Freedom.  We must stand for the Constitution.  We must stand for a Sovereign America and therefore we must resist the attempt of the Leftist to shame us into believing that desiring to be the Free Constitutional Republic of our founding with a Secure Border is heartless and lacking in compassion.  We must determine that we will stand for Faith, Family, and Freedom and accept nothing less than a return to American being the Constitutional Republic our Framers gave us.

In the Book of Joel, the words “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision” are found as the prophet was warning of times coming upon the land and describing what God planned to do.  He was calling people to repentance and for a return to God and His purposes, plans, and principles.  Multitudes were facing a decision as to what direction they would take in life and that decision would not only impact their lives but their nation.  I see that as a condition in America today and I fully believe that the 2016 Election was the result of prayer and not attempt to make President Trump a saint, an example of godliness or righteousness, he was elected to give us an opportunity alter the wrong direction America has been taking for some time.  God, in the Bible, used people who were not always truly righteous or godly to bring about good for His people and His kingdom.  The Bible tells us that God raises up kings and takes them down, and you may disagree but I believe that the Election of Donald Trump is our window of opportunity to Reclaim and Restore our Constitutional Republic.  Will we?  Time will tell and only God knows for sure. 

Whether you support Donald Trump or adamantly opposed him, he is the duly elected president of the United States of America and if we love America and Freedom we must call for an end to the vitriolic violent petulant actions transpiring in America today.  We must insist that Congress act like responsible representatives of the people and rather than standing like junior high combatants pointing fingers, calling names, pouting, and refusing to seek real solutions to the problems facing America they DO THEIR JOBS.  No, their job is not to hold sit-ins, encourage violence and anarchy and with no regard for the Constitution continue to engage in obstructionism.  I do not mind dissent or disagreement but I do mind being subversive.

The media will give no credit to the newly elected president, the increase in his approval ratings, and the encouragement and hope that is being rekindled in the hearts of millions in America and around the world.  A strong America is one of the greatest deterrents to war and unrest globally that can be found.  A strong America with a vibrant economy is a boon to the economies of the world.  You can argue that the election had nothing to do with the rise in the Stock Market but you will be hard-pressed to make that case.  You can argue that the position of the new president on ILLEGALS and a desire to secure the border, the removal of the destructive restrictions on our Border Patrol and ICE agents is not having a positive effect but that is difficult to defend.  Especially considering a recent report that Illegal Border Crossings have dropped 40% in President Trump’s first full month in office. That is incredible!  The U.S. Customs and Border Patrol reported that the number of illegals crossing the border dropped from 31,578 to 18,762 in that period.  Of course, that reflects those detected not a true reflection of the numbers that actually cross the border.  In my view, this is a very positive and hopeful sign that we can regain control of our border and have a secure border, something we have not witnessed in a very long time.  America’s sovereignty depends on having secure borders!

We are in the Valley of Decision about the direction we are going to take as America.  Although, the federal bureaucracy and politicians have polluted and perverted our system of government we still have a constitution.  The American Constitution affirms that WE THE PEOPLE are the true guardians, overseers, and owners of our government.  We are in the Valley of Decision about whether we are going to allow politicians and bureaucrats to strip us of that authority and power or return to being a government of the people, for the people, and by the people.  My decision is TAKE IT BACK!  My decision is TAKE A STAND!  My decision is RESTORATION! 

We are in a War politically and literally fighting for our Freedom and our Republic.  I have said much and will continue to beat the drum of the danger and negativity of a Shadow Government and Silent Coup that is being waged today.  Former President, Barack Obama is leading the charge of disruption from the shadows and through organizations such as his OFA (Organizing for Action).  Most political organizations disband once the politician leaves office but not this one.  It is increasing its war chest and is enlisting a virtual army of disrupters to fight President Trump every step of the way during his entire term of office.  This kind of action was called “un-American” by Barack Obama and that makes one wonder if he is now showing his true colors as being “un-American?”

The OFA has a reported army of 35,525 agitators and according to tax records has raised over $40 MILLION in contributions. This organization states that it “trains young activist to develop ORGANIZING SKILLS”.  Barack Obama said he was going to return to and hone his Community Organizing Skills once he left the White House and just as he followed through on his promise or threat to ‘fundamentally transform’ America he is doing just that.  He is directing his agitators from his DC mansion and encouraging the dissent and even violence.  Michelle Obama tweeted support for Congressman John Lewis in his war with Donald Trump as Lewis called trump an illegitimate president.  She said that his voice should be the call to action.  Barack Obama expressed support and encouragement from the protesters and challenged them to NOT BE SILENT.  That was in the face and evidence of the violence, rioting, and mayhem being caused.  He found that appealing and encouraging.  He did that with Black Lives Matter and the War on Police as well as other incidents where he should and could have called for civility he chose to encourage violence, hate, and disruption, a True Alinsky Method!

We are in the Valley of Decision and if we choose the wrong path or choose to sit in silence we will pay the severest of penalties in the loss of much if not most of our Freedom and Liberty under the Constitution.  We will allow America to descend into a state of anarchy and allow a condition to exist where those opposing an election or a decision will feel license to riot, disrupt, and destroy.  A Republic cannot survive under those conditions and Tyranny will rise in the place of a Free Constitutional Republic.  ARE YOU WILLING TO ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN?  I am not, at least not willingly or passively.  I stand firmly for Faith, Family, and Freedom!

I have contended for a long time that we are going to be stuck with some form of Obamacare in America because the Republicans did not move quickly and definitively once in power and because it has taken this long to get a President open to REPEAL any or all of it.  Former President Obama would never agree to any repeal because he considered it his signature piece of legislation and after it began to be called by his name his narcissistic nature could not abide its removal.  He is the most important person on the planet, at least in his mind, after all, he is a legend in his own mind.

Now that the Republicans have published their plan, which will be modified, amended, and altered, we have a glimpse of what they are suggesting in their REPEAL and REPLACE package.  Some of it is good and some of it is anything but good and has the distinct odor and appearance of what we had under the ACA.  I see a major roadblock for the Republican Plan regarding one aspect that I heartily endorse.  Those on the Left will never agree to it, and sadly there appear to be some Republicans that are not buying in, making it a very long and difficult journey to attainment.  FREE MARKET MEDICINE is anathema to Big Government Liberals and Progressives.  I will not attempt to articulate all the reasons for their opposition but one is that it strips the government of CONTROL and that is the true objective of Obamacare and many other pieces of legislation that come through the halls of Congress.

I long for unfettered competition in the health insurance industry as we see in other areas of the economy.  I believe that competition, supply, and demand will dictate the market prices and usually, that means a reduction in price and an increase in quality.  If we truly adopt Free Market Medicine that would mean that the federal and state governments must stay out of health care and allow the individual and their doctors to determine what care is desired and depending on the plan purchased insured.  Totally Free Market Healthcare would also touch Medicare and Medicaid and that is an area that the public would never stand for much tampering, so we will never have truly Free Market Healthcare.  I am not arguing for or against the repeal of Medicaid or Medicare only that if we are to have Free Market Medicine and competition in the health insurance industry we are going to have to consider all aspects of healthcare.  But, with regard to non-Medicare or Medicaid insurance, we need desperately to return to unfettered competition in the industry and allow citizens to purchase their insurance across state lines.  We also need bequeathable Health Savings Accounts that are not ‘use ‘em or lose ‘em’ on an annual basis but one that continues and can be inherited by the heirs.

The one thing that the Proposed AHA includes is the removal of the unconstitutional individual mandate.  No American should be forced to pay a fine, tax, or penalty for not having insurance coverage.  The fact that some choose not to purchase insurance may and in many cases, does cost you and me, it should be a personal choice not a mandate from government.  Personal responsibility and accountability are missing ingredients in much of what is happening today and people are following the lead of elected officials who insist that we “Do as they say, but not as they do.”  That doesn’t work in the home and won’t work in society.  The new plan does remove the job-killing employer mandate that caused employers to hold off on hiring or lay off worker forcing them into part-time status because of the exorbitant fines and fees for not providing coverage for their workers.  It also removes the over the counter tax on medications that many didn’t realize they were paying.  Obamacare prevented us from using FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS to pay for over the counter medications on a pre-tax basis, the new plan removes that restriction.  It also repeals the Obamacare cap on contributions to FSA’s, a cap that was especially adverse for parents with special needs children.

There is also the repeal of the high medical bill tax, a tax that most were unaware of.   Before Obamacare, if your medical bills exceed 7.5% of your adjusted gross income you got a medical deduction. Obamacare raised that to 10% thus a 2.5% tax. It also repeals the HSA tax. You knew about that one, right?  Obamacare increased the tax on early withdrawals from HSA’s from 10% to 20%.  Also gone is the ridiculous medical device tax of Obamacare.  Those are only a few of the many taxes, penalties, and restrictions of Obamacare that are being targeted.  Is the Republican Plan perfect?  YOU KNOW THE ANSWER.  Is it better than Obamacare?  YOU KNOW THE ANSWER.  Is it what we truly need?  YOU KNOW THE ANSWER.

Two things this bill does that all Conservatives should be able to endorse is that it defunds Planned Parenthood and it reforms Medicaid.  The immediate and obvious benefit of those two items is that we, the tax-payers, are no longer forced to provide millions to the largest abortion mill and purveyor of infant body parts.  House Speaker Paul Ryan announced in his press conference regarding Medicaid: “It has Medicaid per capita block grant, the biggest entitlement reform anybody has seen for decades.  It nearly doubles the amount of money people can contribute to health savings accounts, that is a fundamental part and a crucial part of conservative healthcare policy.”  Of course, Speaker Ryan is going to attempt to sell his bill and it is up to us to investigate and determine if this is acceptable, workable, and desirable.  If it is we need to inform our elected officials of our support or acceptance and if it is not, we need to insist they vote accordingly.

If I thought that we could get rid of Obamacare and not have the residue of it permanently, I would say reject this and insist on REPEAL, but I do not believe we will ever be rid of it.  I do not believe that the public will allow us to totally move away from some form of government healthcare legislation. We can detest the tax credits and equate them to the present subsidies and while I totally agree we need to READ IT and KNOW what is in it before it is passed we are faced with the dilemma of 100% of nothing or getting rid of the worst aspects of Obamacare. No, this is not an endorsement of the new plan, only an attempt to urge everyone to think, consider what we are being offered as compared to what we now have and do our due diligence.  I am disturbed by some things and excited about others in the Republican proposal.  I will continue to vet, examine, investigate, pray, and consider what is before us and I urge you to do the same.

No, I do not justify or excuse Richard Nixon’s illegal political activities but when I compare what he did to what the former President Barack Obama has done, I am forced to call Richard Nixon a rank amateur.  The complicity of the MSM and the apparent involvement of various intelligence agencies in conjunction with explicit or implicit instructions from Mr. Obama to engage in spying on Donald Trump and his associates is not simply appalling and distasteful but dangerous.  Did Obama ‘wiretap’ or order it for Trump Towers?   I don’t know but I know that he has done much in exposing the American people to danger and violated our right of privacy on more than one occasion.  He has used governmental agencies to harass and target political opponents.  Therefore, it is completely within the realm of possibility to envision him spying in some manner on the Trump team.   Much of the Obama actions in his eight years was apparently ILLEGAL and that illegality does not seem to be of particular interest to the Democrats, the MSM, and many Republicans.  WHY? 

The former chief of staff to U.S. Attorney General Edwin Meese said, “This is not about President Trump’s tweeting; this is about the Obama administration spying…The issue isn’t whether the Obama administration Trump campaign or transition of surrogates; the issue is the extent of it… Donald Trump is the victim.  His campaign is the victim.  His transition team is the victim.  His surrogates are the victim.”  I would add, the American people are the victims.  Everybody should be deeply concerned and highly interested in discovering IF and to WHAT EXTENT Barack Obama was involved and how much he knew.

It is impossible to ignore the stories in the New York Times and Washington Post, even in the face of denial by Clapper, Comey, and some in Congress. It is impossible to conclude that Barack Obama was in the dark as to any activity being conducted under his watch.  It is impossible, considering the past eight years that anything transpired without his knowledge and/or approval.  If you recall or will research you will find that Watergate began with attempted ‘wiretapping’ of the DNC and its chairman, Lawrence O’Brien.  I have seen reports that at least eight reports by various news media outlets that this spying took place.  There were reports in the New York Times, Washington Post, Guardian, Heat Street.  Will we ever have the real truth?  

Heat Street published an article on November 7, 2016, with the headline.  EXCLUSIVE:  FBI ‘Granted FISA Warrant’ Covering Trump Camp’s Ties to Russia.  They suggested that they had two separate sources with links to the “Counterintelligence Community” confirming a FISA court warrant granted in October to spy on “U.S. persons” in the Trump campaign.  The Guardian published their article on January 11, 2017, declaring they had uncovered information that the FBI had applied for a FISA warrant over the summer to monitor four members of Trump’s campaign and the FBI was finally granted the warrant in October of 2016.  McClatchy reported on January 18, 2017:  FBI, 5 other agencies probe possible covert Kremlin aid to Trump.  This article declared that the FBI and five other law enforcement and intelligence agencies collaborated for months in an investigation regarding Russian attempts to influence the 2016 Elections and whether money from the Kremlin covertly aided Donald Trump.  The New York Times published January 19, 2017:  INTERCEPTED Russian Communications Part of Inquiry into Trump Associates.  Buried deep in the article is the sentence, “The investigators have accelerated their efforts in recent weeks but have found no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing…”  The New York Times, January 12, 2017:  NSA Gets More Latitude to Share Intercepted Communications.  This was a report on the Executive Order of Barack Obama allowing the widespread dissemination of ‘raw data’ between 17 agencies BEFORE privacy rules were applied.  Basically, they had unrestricted access.  Then on March 21, 1017, the New York Times reported:  Obama Administration Rushed to Preserve Intelligence of Russian Election Hacking.  This was an attempt to suggest that the nefarious Donald Trump would destroy the evidence.  That assertion is so fallacious it is impossible to understand how anyone could believe it, but they do.  On February 9, 2017, the New York Times reported:  Flynn Is Said to Have Talked to Russians About Sanctions Before Trump Took Office.  The Washington Post reported on March 2, 2017, that the Wall Street Journal reported that “U.S. Investigators have examined contacts that Jeff Sessions had with Russian officials during the time he advised Trump and claimed this was part of a widespread “counterintelligence” investigation.”  Not to omit the January 20, 2017, New York Times headline:  Wiretapped Data Used in Inquiry of Trump Aides.  In this article, they acknowledged that this information had been provided to the White House (Barack Obama).

Mr. Clapper has declared that no FISA Warrant was issued but for the aforementioned activity to have transpired there would be the necessity of a warrant for it to have any semblance of legality.  If it (FISA Warrant) did not exist then if there was any kind of spying it was totally ILLEGAL activity and if it (FISA Warrant) did, WHAT was the basis of the warrant and WHO requested it, not just the agency but the individual in government.  The articles of impeachment of Richard Nixon put him in such a precarious situation he resigned rather than face impeachment.  Article One of those articles states: “On June 17, 1972, and prior thereto, agents of the Committee for the Re-election of the President committed unlawful entry of the headquarters of the Democratic National Convention in Washington, District of Columbia, FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECURING POLITICAL INTELLIGENCE.”  (Emphasis mine).  Nixon was responsible although he did not do the dirty work and I suggest that we need to determine if Obama was responsible regardless of who did the deed.

I urge everyone to begin a letter writing, email, text, and phone campaign to pressure Congress to INVESTIGATE and get to the bottom of Obama’s Executive Order, the possible if not probably spying activity, and the highly illegal leaking of information.  WE NEED TO KNOW for this, if true, is a grave threat to our American system of government and a danger to the Republic.

I am not attempting to be a Donald Trump apologist and I have not figured him out any more than anyone else, so what I offer is an opinion, not scientific evidence.  However, it would appear it has as much validity as the ‘professionals’ who are all over the map on who, what, why, and when he is.  There is a saying I’ve heard all my life, “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks” and many have attempted to ascribe that adage to Donald Trump and proclaim with certainty that what you saw on the campaign trail is the real Donald J. Trump and he won’t change.  I believe they are wrong or partially wrong.

Most of us, once we reach a certain age do not change much, if at all.  We become ‘set in our ways’ and dynamite could not move us from our habits, mannerisms, and ways of doing or saying things.  That can be good or bad, depending on the person or situation.  However, most of us are not accomplished business people who have learned the art or tactic of adaptability.  I have read and listened to some very learned people in the world of psychology and business who suggest that people, such as the president, who have built large and successful business empires are always learning, adapting, and morphing.  They often face unexpected challenges that require them to adapt almost immediately as they assess the situation and develop new strategies to achieve their objectives.  In simple terms, “they learn as they go.”  I have observed people of high-level business experience adapt on the fly and seem to totally change almost instantly.  Some would argue they are not being genuine when they do, and while there may be some truth in that, many of them are very sincere because they have a passion for success and adapting is a necessary trait.  I believe that Donald Trump fits that mold and if we honestly assess his business empire we would have to say, he is somewhat of a chameleon when it comes to business.

I do not mean that I think he is two-faced and insincere but that he is always evaluating the situation, studying the parties involved, and adapting to what he believes is most conducive to achieving success.  He is a goal or success oriented person, not a political ideologue and that makes him an impossible to tolerate or understand by those who are sticklers for the pomp and ceremony of politics.  He does not buy into it and will not participate in it other than in a short-term effort to achieve an objective.  The president has done business in many countries requiring him to be very flexible and adaptable.  Most successful CEO’s or entrepreneurs are very smart people, students of people, calculating in their deliberations, and determined in their business ventures.  They, as one ‘professional’ said, are ‘focused in their learning.’  They never stop learning and thereby never stop adapting and changing as they move from deal to deal.  They are often, if not normally, excellent strategist and adapt to whatever behaviors and proposals they believe will achieve their objective.

I realize that, for some, I have painted a picture of Mr. Trump that makes him insincere and not one to be trusted.  But, I hope that you do not allow a narrow definition or pigeon hole what I’ve said but rather see that this president is focused on GOALS and OBJECTIVES, not political points.  He will deal with the Democrats if he believes the deal he is making will advance his primary objective and he will crush them if he believes he can do so without jeopardizing his objective.  Donald Trump’s personality is colorful and powerful and because of his experience and learning in business he is intimidated by no one and that is a problem for politicians who are accustomed to being intimidators.  He is, in a sense, an entertainer and knows how to work a room in order to break the ice and communicate his message.  In business, he appears to have developed the ability to make the person he is dealing with believe they are driving the process when, in fact, he is positioning them to consent to his desires.

Unlike, Barack Obama and many other narcissists in politics and elsewhere, he seeks advice from those he deems to be proficient in whatever field or endeavor he is engaged.  In business, he demonstrated the ability and willingness to learn, grow, and adapt and there is nothing in his makeup that causes me to believe he will be any different as president.  For that reason, he will, at times, cause those of us who are conservatives and constitutionalist to want to pull our hair out and at other times become his loudest cheering section.  If he is, as I suspect, a Goal Oriented Strategist, he will learn as he goes, adapt as he deems necessary and always be thinking two steps ahead of most who are not accustomed to the business process of ‘cutting deals’.  He has a vision for America based on what he sees as wrong and what he believes is possible for this nation.  He is not a typical politician, and while he may arrive at the same conclusions politically that many of us who are conservative and constitutionalist he will not do so from the prism of ideology but from the view of opportunity, need, and objective.  That will either make him a great president or an abject failure and only time will tell.  I believe that if the Republicans in Congress will stand with him he will succeed and America will benefit from his business acumen.

As I said initially, I have not figured Donald Trump out any more than anyone else but this is MY OPINION and it and a few $$ will get you a cup of coffee most places.  I would suggest that you consider what I have postulated and begin your own endeavor or watching him.  You may conclude that I am right, partially right, or all wet.  But, if you are a lover of Freedom, a Defender of the Constitution, and an American Patriot I ask that you join me in praying for, working for, fighting for, and standing for America as the Free Constitutional Republic our Framers and Founders established.

The media and the Democrats have consistently charged Donald Trump with being Anti-Immigration.  Some Establishment Republicans have joined that chorus and charge, which is incomplete, at best, and blatantly false in many respects.  Donald Trump has echoed the sentiment that many of us have voiced, “America, must be first.”  With regard, to the issue of immigration, illegal is illegal but in viewing legal immigration we must know who they are, where they are from, the allegiances they hold, and their purpose and intent in coming to America.  If we cannot ascertain those important facts, allowing them to come is highly questionable.  Yes, some, as has been documented, of the illegals, coming across our Southern Borders are criminals, rapist, drug dealers, and violent criminals.  They made their way to American Sanctuary Cities and rather than being deported or incarcerated were allowed, to roam free and commit more crimes.   If that makes me a xenophobe in your eyes, I question your ability to use cognitive reason and logic. 

We have documented reports that the Obama administration has continued its push to bring Syrian refugees to America without proper vetting and without regard for their backgrounds and allegiances. That is dangerous!  Since the Paris terror attack last year, we know there have been at least 14,074 Syrian refugees brought to America.  That number is not necessarily significantly large but when you consider that 99.1% of those are Muslim.  Only 0.58% are identified as Christian and 25% are male ages 14-50.  A further breakdown reveals that 92.3% are Arabs.  Director of National Intelligence James Clapper informed the Senate last February that ISIS was “taking advantage of the torrent of migrants [entering Europe] to insert operatives into the flow.”  The influx in the calendar year 2016 that ended September 30 was tallied at 12,587 and 99.10% Muslim.  So far this calendar year we have increased that flow, considering we have barely entered the year, there have been 13,691 admitted and 99.1% are Muslim.  With the ISIS concern, is it unreasonable to want to halt this influx UNTIL we can truly determine who they are?  The target of the Obama administration is 110,000 refugee admissions into the United States. 

The Lord of Chicago, Barack Obama’s surrogate, Rahm Emanuel has vowed to maintain Chicago’s status as a “Sanctuary City.”  The Police Chief in Los Angeles has vowed to refuse to assist and even resist Donald Trump in his efforts to identify, arrest, and deport the criminal element among the illegal aliens.  Imagine that, the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of a major city vowing to resist a lawful order from a sitting president.  Why would you want to protect violent criminals?  Could it be corruption?  Could it be they can vote in your elections?  Could it be you are frightened of the Drug Cartels?  What is your logical, rational reason for such action?   The city of Boston has also joined in as Councilor Tito Jackson has vowed, “Boston is a Sanctuary City.”  There is not universal agreement in Boston for the Bristol County Sheriff warned, “It’s no secret that these criminal illegal aliens and terrorists are looking for places to go where they are least likely to be caught.”  He further declared, “What’s really troubling about this is that any elected official in this country would suggest that there should be a certain class of people who do not have to abide by our laws.”  They Mayor of Santa Fe, New Mexico calls his action justified and principled.  Imagine that!

On a lighter side, a weatherman in Oklahoma decided that since people like Al Sharpton, Miley Cyrus, Amy Schumer and many others were so distraught over Donald Trump being elected they vowed to go to Canada, he used his weather cast to give them the fastest route.  I’m quite sure he did it tongue in cheek and meant to be funny but were he not living in Oklahoma he would have been and still may be terminated.  Not so, for any on the other side blasting Donald Trump or those who voted for him. The Left won’t decry the negativity of illegal immigration but will wail loudly when anyone on the right identifies their hypocrisy in anything.

Although this president has reportedly suspended his legal push in the courts for Amnesty, he has ordered the Border Patrol and ICE to ‘stand down’ and ‘cease surveillance‘ on the border.   So, Mr. Obama, you have decided that publicly you would appear to accept defeat but behind the scenes, you opt to further damage and destroy America in your ‘fundamental transformation.’  May your administration fail to do further damage and may the new Pro-America administration assume power quickly.
