I never cease to be amazed at the success of the anti-constitutionalist and anti-Americanist in moving this nation from an ‘originalist’ to ‘revisionist’ view of the American Constitution.  Their success has and is destroying the Republic and the ignorance of most Americans regarding the Constitution is alarming or should be.  We are told by liberal activist and even some Republicans who claim to be conservative and constitutionalist that our founding document is too complicated for the masses or layman to understand.  That is an attempt, willfully or misguidedly, to keep us ignorant of our most precious national document.  That reminds me of antiquity when the masses were kept from reading the Bible and relegated to what they were told it said rather than discovering its precepts for themselves.  That produced incredibly dark times in the world and opened the door for unimaginable abuse and evil to spread.

The American Constitution is not difficult and for an incredibly long time all students including those in elementary school studied and understood it.  That kept America on a solid foundation and largely keep us afloat as a Republic.  Exactly when that erosion began is debatable but the fact that it has been in full bloom for several decades is inarguable and detrimental to our Republic.  The Federalist Papers produced by three of our founders, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and John Jay were not complicated legal dissertations understood only by astute political scholars and lawyers it was understood by the farmer and average citizen of those times.  If you examine what is taught in public schools and listen to the supposedly humorous interviews of the ‘man on the street’ demonstrating the lack of knowledge on this front by the public you know what I’m saying is correct.  It has been suggested that 1 in 1000 can name the FIVE BASIC GUARANTEES of our Constitution – freedom of religion, press, speech, assembly, and petition.

Thomas Jefferson’s view was held by the masses for the first 150 years or more regarding Originalism as seen in his explanation to Supreme Court Justice William Johnson.  Jefferson said, “On every question of construction, carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or invented against it; conform to the probable one in which it was passed.”  He believed in ‘Original Intent‘ identified as ‘Originalism’.  The Constitution says plainly that ONLY the U.S. House of Representatives can initiate a tax increase, not the President, Senate, Courts or any bureaucrat.  The Constitution clearly states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”  It gives Congress no power to declare that Prayer in School is unconstitutional for the action of making that declaration is in itself in violation of the 1st Amendment.

The Liberal Leftist Revisionist Activists and Proponents introduced a new philosophy in direct contrast to that of our founders and much of our early history.  They advanced the idea that the Constitution was a ‘Living Document’ and advanced the ideas of ‘Pragmatism’, ‘Positivism’ and ‘Progressivism’.  To achieve their objective, shredding the constitution and revising it to say what they desired they had to indoctrinate the coming generations to offset and ultimately replace the understanding of the older generation.  They sought to instill in the minds that there is no ‘absolute truth’ and that God’s laws or standards are irrelevant in modern times and civil government.  That man not God is the source and author of law and highest authority is not God but the government and if the necessary the government must resort to force to enforce the edicts enacted.  They advanced the idea that man is an ever evolving creature and therefore Law must evolve as well including the Constitution and that the courts are to make judgments based on that evolution not the original intent or wording of the Constitution.

Men such as Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., Louis Brandeis, and Benjamin Cardozo were key figures in the advancement of the idea that societal evolution, not the original intent should be the guide for the courts.  That is in direct violation of the constitution which prohibits judges from “making laws”.  Their view is fully exposed and expanded in the statement of Chief Justice Charles Evans Hughes, “We are under a Constitution – but, the Constitution is what the judges say it is.”  THAT IS DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSITE OF THE INTENT OF THE FOUNDERS!  If the ‘original wording’ no longer matters judges are free to strike down long-standing constitutional guarantees and laws and mandate new ones in keeping with their ideology or agenda.  We have witnessed and are witnessing the shift from ORIGINALISM to REVISIONISM and we allow it at our own peril.  That is why I adamantly argue against any politician regardless of political affiliation who is not an Originalist.  I believe the words of George Washington in his farewell address is important for us to remember and heed his warnings.  He said, “If, in the opinion of the people, the distribution or the modification of the constitutional powers be in any particular wrong, let it be corrected by an amendment in the way the Constitution designates.  But let there be no change by usurpation, for… [This] is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed.”  WE FAIL TO HEAR and HEED to our own destruction.

Again, November brings us face to face with the real possibility if not probability of a complete shredding of our Constitution and thereby the COMPLETE REVISION of our system of government.  There is or should be no argument that Hillary Clinton is a staunch Revisionist and allowing her to expand and advance the agenda of Barack Obama is perilous.  Do what you will and say what you please but consider the cost of Hillary Clinton occupying the White House and acting as Commander in Chief of this nation.

This event is indelibly printed on my mind and I shall never forget where I was, what I was doing, and the thoughts that came to my mind as the events of 9-11 unfolded on that September morning.  I was home in bed sick and as my wife was preparing to go to work the television was on and the scenes of the first tower were being shown and discussed.  My heart was troubled as I watched the scenes and wondered how such an accident, as the commentators were suggesting, could have happened.

After a few minutes, I saw the second plane and its impact on tower two and I knew instantly this was no accident and the first thought that came to mind was “This is War!”  Everything in me tensed up and I wondered who was conducting the attack but had no doubt this was an act of terrorism and war.  I could not have imagined and I seriously doubt the terrorist knew or even expected the towers to virtually implode and come crumbling to the ground, but they did.  I lay in bed lamenting that I was beyond the years the military would accept me, for if we were going to war my patriotic spirit wanted to offer any assistance I could.  I sensed a spirit of anger well up inside and then a spirit of weeping as I wept for the victims, the families, and our nation.  The horror of that day is a sight that will never leave my mind and it is as vivid today as it was 15 years ago.  I WILL NEVER FORGET!

Who do I blame for 9-11?  EVIL…  It was carried out by Islamic jihadist but it was birthed in the pit of hell and this was another of a long list of actions designed to bring fear to the hearts of people as evil was and is seeking to control our lives.  We have not been given a spirit of fear but of soundness of mind and we are more than conquerors through Him that loved and loves us.  Subsequent to 9-11 and many other terrorist activities throughout the world including the innumerable beheadings, rape, and pillage being conducted by the jihadist, we continue to hear that Islam is a Religion of Peace and we are attacked when we question that statement.  The current president seeks to make America, Christians, and the West the problem while giving a pass to the Islamic Terrorist carrying out or seeking to carry out their caliphate and jihad.  If you are angry at what transpired I encourage you to direct your anger at EVIL and understand that there can be no co-existence with the forces of hell that seek to ‘kill and destroy’ for EVIL will never observe a ‘non-aggression pact’ although its proponents might sign one.

MY REMEMBRANCE TODAY is not the perpetrators, although who they were cannot be forgotten.  MY REMEMBRANCE focuses on the FALLEN and the FAMILIES of the victims and the first responders as well as the many men and women who have and are serving in our armed forces defending America and Freedom.  I salute the firefighters, policemen, medical personnel, military personnel and all others who have and are working to provide care and aid in times of difficulty and tragedy.  I believe what we saw in the aftermath of 9-11 was and is the TRUE AMERICAN SPIRIT not what politicians tell us but what took place in reality.  We saw people unite for a common cause with no thought or concern for a political party or the advancement of a particular political agenda.  We caught a glimpse of the America of World War II when no sacrifice was too great for the cause of Liberty and Freedom.  THAT IS AMERICA!

So, as we REMEMBER 9-11 I stand and salute the fallen, the families, and those still being affected by this tragedy.  I kneel and pray for my nation and her people.  I reaffirm my commitment to the cause of Freedom and Liberty and declare once again that I stand firmly for FAITH, FAMILY, and FREEDOM!

I have had people fiercely attack me because I boldly declare and adamantly affirm that America was founded on Christian principles and our founders valued God’s influence on our government and lives.  Believe what you will, but I suggest it is difficult to ignore the writings readily available if one will examine the volumes written about and by them.  I cannot imagine America winning her independence in the Revolutionary War had it not be for the reliance upon and providence of God as He smiled favorably on this ideal of a Free Republic.

A Bible passage that was key in my conversion to Christianity is Proverbs 3:5-6 and in that passage I see the directive and reminder that it is incumbent on all of us individually and collectively to “acknowledge” God in all that we are, say, and do.  This is true for nations as well and I am reminded of the proclamation of 1 Samuel 2:30 that “Those who honor Me [God] I will honor, and those who despise Me [God] will be lightly esteemed.”  That was a proclamation, encouragement and warning not to religious leaders but the civil authorities.  I had someone ask me, “Do you think God is interested in politics?”  I thought about that for a moment and said, “God is not interested in politics as we are but is interested in the hearts of men and thereby the course or path of a nation.  So, in that light, YES God is interested in politics.  However, I am convinced God will not interfere and will allow man to choose their course or path.” 

I am convinced as many writers and quotations from the time period of our nation’s inception that they understood a principle we may have forgotten or appear to be forgetting that whenever we stop acknowledging Him as individuals or nations we invite grave consequences.  I have often quoted or referred to a quote by George Washington, “It is the duty of nations to acknowledge the providence of the Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor.”  That is so foreign to the mindset and mentality of today’s political world, were that said today the speaker would be ridiculed and scorned derisively and attacked incessantly.  Yet, the father of our nation and our first president unashamedly made that declaration not because he thought that is what people wanted to hear but what he believed.  That declaration parallels Proverbs 3:5-6 magnificently giving us four dimensions of duty by this or any nation.  We are to ‘acknowledge’ God, ‘obey’ His will, exhibit ‘gratitude’ for His help, and ‘seek’ His guidance and protection.  The more I discover about the mindset of our founding fathers them more I appreciate what they accomplished and become more determined than ever to fight to protect our inalienable rights against governmental usurpation.

America’s second president, John Adams was in wholehearted agreement and declared, “The safety and prosperity of nations ultimately and essentially depend on the protection and the blessing of Almighty God and the national acknowledgment of this truth is…an indispensable duty which people owe to Him.”  Even a man whose faith is sometimes called into question, Thomas Jefferson expressed the same sentiment and belief.  Then in the middle of the 19th century, President Abraham Lincoln uttered a warning that America was possibly or definitely drifting from those founding principles and feared that we were beginning to ‘forget’ God.  He called it the ‘duty of nations’ to recognize the truth of Scripture and insisted that this is proven in history and warned that the nation was exhibiting signs of ‘forgetting’ God’s hand on the nation and that people and government was becoming too self-sufficient and no longer relying on God’s guidance, provision, and protection.  President Lincoln issued a call for a time of ‘public humiliation, fasting, and prayer so that the nation would once again REMEMBER THE LORD.”

Our nation no longer, at the national level, acknowledges God.  Oh, politicians will say, “God bless America” but an acknowledgment of God on a national level is clearly not part of the makeup of our federal government.  The opposite is a more likely reality in today’s political climate and operation.  The assault on the Pledge of Allegiance where we declare that we are one nation UNDER GOD is evidence of our forgetting and refusal to acknowledge Him.  The court mandates that nativity scenes no longer stand on public property and the move to censor the declaration of “Merry Christmas”, the rejection of prayer in schools, at athletic events, and school sponsored activities and even political gatherings, although not universally practiced is a sign of our rejection of the idea that we are to ‘acknowledge’ God.  The evidence is mounting that America is rapidly becoming a nation that has rejected God rather than a nation that acknowledges Him as was the desire and plea of our founding fathers and many subsequent generations.  The PC Police have become so present and powerful that some universities are banning the use of the term ‘man’ because it is somehow incorrect.  Where will it end?  Will it end in our complete destruction?  A QUESTION WE SHOULD ALL BE ASKING…

This president, Barack Obama, boldly declared that “America is no longer a Christian nation” and I hope he is wrong but if we continue on the current path his assertion will be both prophetic and factual.  I believe that it is in our failure to properly and truly acknowledge God that many of the problems we now face as a nation are the outgrowth of the seeds of destruction sown in the attitude of rejection. May God help us prevent the further erosion of our values and moral moorings by taking steps to reject those politicians who reject God’s hand of providence and His guiding principles!

Possibly the proper question would be, did and does the Bible influence our chosen form of government in America?  Did it influence our founding fathers?  Has it been influential in our history?  Is it influential today?  All questions that deserve careful consideration.  But, back to the title question, and discovering what and how we came to adopt the form of government we did in America.  In my mind, it is necessary to consider the forms of government that have and do exist in the world today to fully uncover the process and objective of our founding fathers in establishing this nation and her system of government and laws.

It is my view and that of some of our founding fathers that Exodus 18:21, played a significant role in the process and determination of our governmental objective.  It reads: “Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.”  In the world we have and do witness at least seven categories of governmental forms:

• Totalitarianism – – A very highly centralized form that tolerates no individualism and push-back from the citizenry. That form was clearly present in Bible days as well as can be seen in Luke 2:1; Mark 12:17 or Exodus 1-14)
• Monarchy – – Government headed by a regal and is usually hereditary not based on qualifications but bloodlines. (In the Bible the kings of Israel were intended to be limited monarchies as is revealed in Deuteronomy 17:18-20; 2 Samuel 5:3; 2 Kings 11:17)
• Republic and Constitutional Republic – – A government in which the sovereign power is exercised by the representatives elected by the people. (This was described in Exodus 18:21 and elsewhere in Scripture.)
• Oligarchy – – The power of government is vested or controlled by a powerful few elites and in the Bible, the Sanhedrin would represent this.
• Anarchy or Revolution – – This is a government without laws, where the supreme power is the individual and everyone does what is right in their own eyes. (It is a dangerous form or condition and is seen in Scripture in Deuteronomy 12:8; Judges 17:6; 21:25)
• Democracy – – A government where the total power lies in the hands of the people or majority rule. This is fickle to the whims and moods of the populace and could be rightly called “mob rule.”  John Adams referred to it as “mob rule” and Benjamin Franklin called it “mobocracy” to identify the unpredictability and instability of this form of government.  Sadly, many in America think we have a Democracy failing to understand our true form of government.
• Theocracy – – A government run by the immediate representatives of God. In the Bible, both Eli and Samuel are examples of a Theocracy.  In reality, many Islamic nations are theocracies.  No, they do not follow the Bible but they follow their book of religion.
  

In America, we were designed as A Republic or a Constitutional Republic with a Representative Democracy.  Sadly, as I stated earlier, many people believe we are a true or full Democracy and often our elected officials advance that presumption as well.  Article IV, Section IV of the United States Constitution gives us clarity:  “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government.”  The founders were not ambiguous concerning this matter.  James Madison stated, “Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have, in general, been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.”  John Adams stated, “Remember, democracy never lasts long.  It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself.  There never has been a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”  Fisher Ames declared, “A democracy is a volcano which conceals the fiery materials of its own destruction. These will produce an eruption and carry desolation in their way.”

John Adams went further and warned of the incredible dangers and corruption that could and would exist in a pure democracy.  He said, “Democracy will soon degenerate into an anarchy – such an anarchy that every man will do what is right in his own eyes and no man’s life or property or reputation or liberty will be secure; and every one of these will soon mold itself into a system of subordination of all the moral virtues and intellectual abilities- all the powers of wealth, beauty, wit, and science – to the wanton pleasures, the capricious will, and the execrable [abominable] cruelty of one or a very few.”  That is a grave warning that we seem to be oblivious to in today’s political climate.

Exodus 18:21 gives some careful and specific guidelines that our founders observed as requirements or qualifications for holding or even seeking political office.  We have largely ignored them in today’s political world and have done so to our hurt as a people and a nation.  Our founders, on more than one occasion, cited the Bible as a key factor and guide in their determinations for our system of government.  They titled “laws of nature and of nature’s God” which they described as MORAL LAW as the basic framework for our system of government.  They expected and insisted that each elected official and each citizen would conform to those guidelines.  I have no doubt, they knew this would be a massive undertaking and explains why so frequently they spoke of our moral condition as a prerequisite for this form of government and why Benjamin Franklin would issue his warning that our system was a Republic IF we could keep it.  They repeatedly referred to INALIENABLE RIGHTS as coming from our Creator, not the government.  They recognized and insisted that those rights were not negotiable and had to be protected at all cost from a rogue or corrupt government of politicians.  We need to, once again, become aware and focused on those realities.

To claim the founders did not appreciate or value the Bible in their deliberations and decisions is ludicrous for as John Adams said, “The Bible… is the most republican book in the world.”  Benjamin Franklin asserted, “I have always considered Christianity as the strong ground for republicanism.”  Then Noah Webster put it in a beautiful package saying, “Our citizens should early understand that the genuine source of correct republican principles is the Bible.”  I know that for all who do not accept the Bible as our guide for faith and practice in life will find this troubling but our founders believed the Bible and God were important in the formation of this nation and we must return to our founding principles or we lose the Republic.  Although our republican form of government has its roots in the Bible it can only be preserved by a citizenry who knows and gives heed to the biblical principles, precepts, and moral rightness at all levels of government.  Thus, another reason I so frequently warn that we must be focused on ALL POLITICAL OFFICES in these elections.  The White House is only one of the many that are critical to our survival as a Constitutional Republic.

We have a situation facing us in America that, in my view, will determine the survival of our Republic.  We must not allow the leftist liberal progressive ideology prevail at any level of government and most assuredly not in the presidency.  God help us if we allow four more years of destruction and fundamental transformation.  I truly believe that God is saying to America, “IT IS UP TO YOU!”

That’s right, I said politics and God and I should have made it a question because I am repeatedly challenged on my involvement and being vocal regarding political matters.  I hear, “Separation of Church and State” as a prohibition for preachers regarding expressing political views.  I hear, “God doesn’t need our help” as a reason to step back and not be on the front lines politically.  Truthfully, God does not need our help but we will look at some biblical examples of how God instructed man to become involved.  I hear, “we are to obey those in positions of authority who are our leaders” as a justification for not questioning their bad decisions or bad laws.  We are to obey those that rule over us, until and unless it violates God’s word then we have to choose between obeying man or God.  But, back to my title topic, “Is God interested in or involved in politics?”

Throughout the biblical record, we find incident after incident in which God used man to thwart bad government and depose bad leaders.  In each of those cases God could have done it Himself but I have learned and observed that God uses man to deal with problems of man including government.  God gives the guidance, ability, opportunity, and purpose, then man has to choose to obey or disobey and when a man or men (meaning human beings) accept God’s directive and step out things change.

What would have happened had Noah ignored the directive of God to build an ark?  He had no support and was undoubtedly ridiculed but he saw the condition of man which would include government and knew that if there was going to be a perpetuation of the race with any hope of righteousness he had to become involved.  It was not an easy task, nor one of short duration but his commitment and obedience thrust him into action and we know the rest of the story.  What if Moses had adopted the belief that we are to obey those who rule, blindly and without questioning?  God could and likely would have found someone to do what Moses did but the point is that without the involvement in politics by Moses there would have been no deliverance and the Nation of Israel would not have entered the Promised Land.  What if Gideon had followed the idea that there had to be a separation of his religion and the government?  We would not have the miraculous deliverance that took place with Gideon and his small band of valiant souls.  What if Elijah had followed the idea of “Separation of Church and State” and “blind obedience to those in authority?”  He would not have confronted Ahab and Jezebel and Israel would have continued in darkness.  Instead, he faced the despots and challenged their authority and power.  Yes, God challenged each of those men and used them politically.  I would assert that without their involvement, evil would have prevailed, at least for a time beyond what it did.

Some will protest and say, “Yes, but all those examples are from the Old Testament and we are to follow the New Testament.”  Let’s examine that, if we might.  Take the case of the disciples imprisoned by the Sanhedrin, which was a government within a government, if the directive of Paul, that many  endeavor to use in the argument against involvement in politics, were the meaning they would have simply obeyed the instructions and stopped preaching in the Name of Jesus, but they did not.  They challenged the rulers of their day saying, “Whom shall we obey, God or man.”  If John the Baptist followed that mentality, he would not have challenged Herod but he did because he considered God’s right a higher authority than political authority.  Even Jesus challenged the government within the government led by the Sanhedrin and Pharisees.

To the matter of God not needing our help, it is absolutely true, He does not BUT He has chosen to use man to deal with the problems of man.  The same apostle who spoke of obeying human authority also said that if we know to do good or right and fail to do it that is a sin.  If we ignore tyranny, despotism, and the trampling of the inalienable rights given to man by our creator, can we say we are doing what is good or right?  If we fail to pray for our nation and leaders, can we say we are doing what is good or right?  If we try to live in quiet seclusion ignoring problems around us and declare that our religion is a private matter and religion and politics do not mix, are we doing what is good and right?  God told Ezekiel, that He had made the prophet a watchman on the walls and that he was to warn of wickedness and in that sense danger.  If he failed, the blood of those affected would be on his hands, but if he warned and they did not heed he would be absolved of guilt and responsibility.  I believe God has called me and many others, if not all others, to be watchmen on the walls and to sound the warning and point to the right.  That, in my view, includes all aspects of life.  Therefore, I cannot be silent and have peace in my heart that I am doing what I know to do and cannot believe my silence and blind obedience to bad government is pleasing to God.

This is my view, and you can disagree, but I ask you to consider the cost of blind obedience to evil or destructive government.  I ask you to consider the cost of removing God from all things political when the political affects every aspect of our lives.  I ask you to consider what one word at the right moment to the right person might accomplish for the kingdom of God and America.

Before you completely misunderstand, I am not saying that the American people are the enemy but using this old Pogo cartoon statement to illustrate a point, so bear with me, please.  I have pleaded, argued, talked, written, spoke and prayed that WE THE PEOPLE entrenched in the various camps of political candidates would somehow wake up or realize WHO the real enemy of America is from a political perspective.  I do not think my fellow patriots are the enemy, I simply want to remind each of us WHO THE REAL ENEMY IS…

One political pundit suggested that because of the millions on the Democrat and Republican sides who will likely stay home refusing to vote for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump could possibly result in the lowest turnout for a Presidential Election in a very long time.  I don’t know if that is true or if the polls that reflect how much those two are disliked are even accurate.  I know that Richard Nixon was hated by the Democrats, disliked and even feared by many Republicans and even those who were his friends were ashamed to have that fact known but Nixon won a landslide election. How could that happen?  The polls did not take into account a head to head with the Democrat and when given that option Nixon was the overwhelming choice.  Will that be the case in this election regardless of the Democrat and Republican nominee?  I don’t know but suspect it might well be that one of the candidates will win in a landslide, but that is coming from my rocking chair on the patio drinking coffee watching the sunrise on a beautiful morning.

I keep asking myself and others, “Do we really know who the real enemy is politically?”  Or better, “Have we forgotten who the real enemy is politically?”  I understand the nomination process and how the mud flies, the dirt is dug, the skeletons are brought out of the closet, and attacks are made but sometimes I wonder if the anger, bitterness, and hatred that is dividing camps so prolifically have considered the cost of being irreparably divided?

CAN YOU STOMACH A HILLARY CLINTON PRESIDENCY?  I wrote that in caps because I am screaming the question at the top of my lungs.  Have we considered the cost of four or eight years under her administration?  Are we able to accept a person as president that has such a low regard for human life as expressed in her views on abortion and her lies and attitude about the lives lost in Benghazi?  Can we take actions that would virtually guarantee a person so corrupt that she has placed America’s national security at risk for convenience and peddled influence to secure funds and support to achieve her objective of the White House?  Can we forget her complicity in the lies about what caused Benghazi, her failures as Secretary of State, her involvement in White Water, the questionable activities of the Clinton Foundation and its connection to foreign governments many of which are very anti-America?  Can we embrace someone who is an Alinsky disciple, a follower of Marxist ideology and demonstrates such a lack of understanding and support for the Constitution of the United States of America?  Can we forget, the past eight years?  You may disagree but I consider, Hillary Clinton and all the Democrat possibilities for President the enemy of our Constitutional Republic not Donald Trump or Ted Cruz.

Can we pause for a moment and consider what America would experience under a Hillary Clinton presidency?  If Hillary Clinton becomes President of these United States of America…

• The Supreme Court will be packed with liberal activist jurist transforming it for decades rendering the Constitution null and void and providing the Democrats a clear path to the “total transformation” of America.
• Taxes will escalate to the point that the economy will be sent spiraling into a collapse that will propel us into a Recession and even Depression that might rival the Great Depression in impact.
• More and more businesses will take their manufacturing “offshore” forcing more people out of the workforce and onto the welfare rolls of the government increasing the debt and deficit and further destroying our economy.
• The 1st and 2nd Amendments will be challenged if not completely destroyed by the packed court and her Executive Actions if not Congressional Legislation making Political Correctness a legally mandated reality, assaulting our religious liberties, and launching a direct assault on our 2nd Amendment rights to “keep and bear arms.”
• Obamacare will be expanded to a single payer universal healthcare system where the government totally controls our care, from whom we receive it, and if we have access to various procedures. The cost individually and collectively as well as the intrusion into our lives will propel us further along the road to total tyranny and despotism.
• The Government will continue to expand exponentially as all programs of entitlement and agencies of harassment and control are strengthened, enlarged, and empowered.
• The assault on the fossil fuel industry will be completed forcing us into alternative energy usage at a cost so astronomical few will be able to afford it.
• Climate Change will take a higher priority than battling Islamic Terrorism and keeping the nation safe from external and internal enemies.
• The traditional family will be under heavy attack and Hillary’s view that the Community is better able to raise our children than we and the government’s interference and oversight of our parenting will be prevalent.
• Foreign Policy will continue to be a disaster where our friends are alienated and our enemies facilitated.
• Illegal Immigrants will become citizens and the voting base and block for the Democrats will effectively destroy any semblance of a Democratic Republic but a Single Party Oligarchy or Tyranny will be realized.

Those are a few of the problems we face with another Clinton as President.  To be fair, she is so far left or her husband I almost feel the need to apologize to him for my statement about a Clinton presidency.

So I as, “Do we recognize the real enemy or are we so focused on our preference we cannot see the forest for the trees?”  If that is the case then Pogo’s assessment does apply to us.  I continue to reject that notion and believe that somehow the American people will wake up and realize that the Enemy to be stopped is the Leftist Liberal Anti-American Ideology of the Democrats in the person of Hillary Clinton.  We must defeat her, keep the Senate and maintain our margin in the House of Representatives.  If we lose sight of that objective America is doomed!
