THEY ARE COMING TO TAKE US AWAY…


As I write this, I am hearing the 1966 song of Jerry Samuels (Napoleon XIV) and the popular song, “They’re Coming to Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa!”  It would incredibly Politically Incorrect today and probably banned from all media sites and few DJs would be brave enough to play it.  No, it was not politically but likely politically incorrect in today’s world. 

The reason that song is echoing in my head is because of the planned coup on the Constitution by the Democrats and RINOs.  None of our inalienable constitutional rights are off-limits in their minds.  Power corrupts and complete power corrupts completely.  It appears that after January 20, 2021, that America will be in the clutches of the Power Hunger Vengeful and Hate-Filled Left.  Their stated plans are enough to cause our Founding Fathers to turn over in their grave.  The unstated plans that are certain to follow would cause them to demand the water of the tree of liberty.

The most recent actions by various Social Media Outlets can rightly be compared to the Nazi endeavor to control through propaganda and censorship.  That should be bete nore to all lovers of Constitutional Freedom, Liberty, and its guarantees.  The Constitution’s 1st Amendment was designed to protect the right of speech and thought by the citizens.  No one has a constitutional right to not be offended but everyone has a constitutional right to form and state their opinion.  That is one of the things that make our Republican Form of Democracy thrive and work. 

Heated or spirited debate is not unhealthy but should always be constrained short of violence.  If I disagree, I should have the option of presenting my counterargument, and then if an impasse continues and no common ground is found, walk away.  I may object to your view, but I must never forget you have as much right to your view as I to mine. 

In Nazi Germany, Josef Goebbels was appointed Minister of Propaganda in 1933 and his assignment was to brainwash people into obeying the Nazi Agenda and idolize Hitler. He was very successful, but to achieve that he had to ensure that there was only one message sounding forth, the message of Hitler and the Nazi Machine.  That is exactly what the various social media platforms are attempting in banning and silencing those who are dissent with their Liberal Leftists View today. 

Goebbels controlled the media and the arts.  He ensured that the German population was fed a steady diet of Nazi ideology and propaganda while censoring all dissenting or counter views.  How is what Twitter, Facebook, the MSM, and the Leftist are doing today in America.  They want ONE VIEW presented and that view is that of Toxic Liberalism and Globalism.  All other views are deemed dangerous, destructive, and worthy of being silenced.  Anyone voicing an opinion counter to that of the Liberal Left must be destroyed and silenced.  Yes, Napoleon XIV, they are coming to take us away and will use any tactic to achieve that objective.

Hitler and the Nazi machine believe that religion was a serious threat to their ability to control people’s minds and therefore had to be crushed.  They broke up the Catholic Youth League and priests were arrested, and religious teaching banned.  I am not Catholic, but Catholicism was a major religious force in Germany in that era.  How are the overt and covert attempts to silence ministers of the Gospel who dare to preach the Bible different from what was done in Germany in the 1930s?

The Gestapo were the Nazi’s secret police who gathered intelligence on people living in Germany.  Let me see, can we relate that to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, the FBI, CIA, NSA, etc.?   How about credit card companies, cell phone companies, and businesses such as Amazon gathering our information and dispensing it for profit and other nefarious purposes?  The censoring and use of the IRS and other entities are incredibly comparable to the actions and purposes of the Nazis in Germany.

The Gestapo had over 150,000 informants throughout the nation reporting all anti-Nazi sentiment.  Is that not what the Democrats have been calling for in the Lockdown?  When Kamala Harris announced that once they took office, they would hunt down every Trump supporter and punish, is that dramatically different than the actions of Nazi Germany?  Are we allowed no differing opinion or ideological position?  Are we mandated to comply with the Leftist’s mantra or die?  Is that the Constitutional precept we are to follow?

The Gestapo and their informants did not wear uniforms, thus the citizens did not know they were being spied on.  They would lie, disguise themselves as dissidents.  Is that dramatically different than today?  The Bible in Matthew 10:36 speaks of a man’s enemies being members of his own household.  We are living in very troubled times and our liberties and freedoms are under assault. 

The Nazis prepared a list of people they considered ‘undesirable’ and the Democrats of today have their list of ‘deplorables’ and ‘bitter clingers’.  The Nazis list included:  political opponents, Jews, religious figures, and any person that spoke out against the regime.  That sounds a lot like the tactics and ideology of the Liberal Left of America today. 

History reveals that by July 1933 Hitler and the Nazis had banned all other political parties.  That is where the Left wants to take America today and allow only Democrats to run for office and win elections.  The Nazis used every tactic including genocide to achieve their objectives.  I must ask, is that a conceivable possibility with the Left?  There was no opposition voice in the media therefore the only message was that of Hitler and the Nazis.  Is that not what we are witnessing today?

America is divided, possibly beyond reconciliation.  Joe Biden has declared he would ‘take down the NRA’ and ban all magazines that hold multiple rounds.  That would be ALL magazines for ALL rifles for they all have multiple round magazines except the single-shot guns.  He is not going to use the constitutional amendment process to destroy our rights and liberties but Executive Order, the packed Courts, and Congress to achieve their objective.

I can predict, with no fear of being wrong, that when they began a national ‘gun confiscation’ War will be the result.  That, I believe, is part of their objective and will allow them to move with such drastic measures possibly martial law, and make private gun ownership illegal ‘temporarily’ which would become ‘permanent.’  When has the government taken away a right and given it back?

America, we allowed this to happen.  How we fix it may not be the question because it may be too late to repair.  Can we fix it?  I honestly do not know.  I know God can, but God allows men to govern themselves and allows men (not gender but humanity) to have the desire of their heart.  If that desire is evil, self-serving, and anti-God, He just may withdraw His hedge of protection and allow us to destroy ourselves. 

I cling to the belief that God is not finished with America and that the spirit of 1776 and a return to moral principles and a return to God will transpire in America.  I keep praying, hoping, and believing.  Until the last nail is driven in the coffin, if I see it, I will keep fighting for Faith, Family, and Freedom.

STAND IN THE GAP or WE LOSE OUR FREEDOM…


I am going to present a thought that is deeply rooted in my faith, my love of America and the God-given Freedoms and the Republic we have been blessed with.  I make that statement at the outset so those who find anything religious anathema can tune out and not feel the need to attack and experience the animosity my post will engender.  For those who are Christians, Patriots, and Lovers of Freedom you may or may not agree with what I am going to say.  I hope you will consider my thoughts and then formulate your own view and plan your own actions as we enter 2021.

I have been, as have millions of others, praying, thinking, searching for answers, and trying to determine the cause of our plight and the best course of action.  As I prayed recently, I sensed in my heart of hearts something that shook me deeply.  It caused me to reflect on my own attitude, what I see in the nation and the world, and what I hear from all sectors of society.  I don’t want to become a broken record and been dismissed as an alarmist.  However, I see something incredibly dire, dangerous, and disastrous in the current state of everything in America.

Over 240 years ago there were a group of Patriots, Preachers, and People who came to the conclusion that there was an encroaching evil that had become an unbearable tyranny.  They determined that it was their mandate for posterity, from a biblical view, and for the sake of Freedom to resist.  That could cost them everything and victory was their only hope of survival.

There were those in the colonies in all sectors from the secular to the spiritual that believed that compliance and appeasement was the best course of action.  Some of them adopted that view out of fear.  Some out of a misguided view of biblical mandates.  Some out of a desire to not rock the boat and maintain the status quo thereby not affecting their bottom line and positions of prominence.  They were called loyalists.  Some were loyalists ideological, but many were loyalists because of the aforementioned reasons.

Some of our Founding Fathers and other unnamed and unsung patriots of that era knew in their heart of hearts that if they did not ‘stand in the gap’ and impede the growing tyranny all liberty would be lost.  They knew that they would be forced to comply with governmental mandates that touched every dimension of life.  They feared the governmental overreach of the British Crown would steal all hopes and dreams of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.  Inalienable Rights and Blessings that God had granted to all mankind but was being restricted.

They paid taxes but had virtually no voice in the political direction or decisions.  Many came to America with the hope of achieving the dream of Life, Prosperity, and Freedom.  They were feeling the iron-fists of power squeezing the life out of those dreams and that was untenable for them.  As Patrick Henry famously declared, “Give me liberty or give me death” became the mantra of those desiring freedom.

Today, we are watching an incredible rise in ‘evil.’  I do not believe that the struggle we are now engaged in is political but spiritual.  I do not believe that God is interested in Democrat or Republican but right and wrong.  I believe that He is looking at the condition of man and, while we were warned in Scripture of this hour, He is heartbroken that we allowed it to transpire and transpire so rapidly in America. 

It is my conviction that if those who believe in God, are followers of Christ and Christians do not ‘stand in the gap’ and resist evil this nation and the world will go to hell in a handbasket.  Some would argue, it already has.  I contend that we can turn the tide and achieve a small window of opportunity with a reprieve from the destruction and devastation.  I believe that if the believers, the followers of Christ, and the Church will determine to follow the directive of 2 Chronicles 7:14 and Matthew 6:9-13 and 6:33 we can achieve a victory.

In Ezekiel 22:30 we read that God said, “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.”  What a horrific situation.  Some take that scripture and make God the ogre, but I read it and realize that it is reflective of the heart of our Heavenly Father to spare us!  He is not willing that any should be lost and is more willing to forgive than condemn if we will just give Him the opportunity.

I have been sensing, as Isaiah the prophet cried out when he saw his condition and that of his nation and heard God ask, “Who will go and who can we send?”  Isaiah said, “Me, LORD.  Me!  I will go, send me!”  I am sensing the Spirit of God calling me and anyone who will heed the call to come out from among them and be separate and become Watchmen on the Wall warning of evil.  He is calling for those who will commit themselves to intercession, not token prayers.  He is calling for those who will become willing to die, if necessary, for His Purposes, and for Freedom.  He is calling, are we listening?

If the good does not resist the evil what is to impede the evil from running amok?  If those who believe in moral rightness sit in silence as immorality prevails what is to prevent the spread of that destruction?  If those who believe in personal responsibility and accountability do not step forward and teach, warn, resist, and demonstrate moral rightness what is to impede the purveyors of an anti-God and anti-American philosophy?  If we allow the continued genocide of the unborn, destruction of the two-parent family, entitlement mentality, political correctness, assault on religious freedom, freedom of speech, the right of self-defense, and a myriad of other infringements we will destroy the Republic. 

It is time to move from focusing on political parties to the basic principles of freedom, liberty, inalienable rights, and return to our moral moorings.  It is time that we devote ourselves to what made America the Free Constitutional Republic where the dream of Life, Liberty, and Happiness was available for all.  It is time that we STAND IN THE GAP and say NO MORE!  We must resist and that may be costly, but it is mandatory.

It is time that those who believe in the Bible and Freedom stand up and demand that the politicians adhere to the Constitution and the Rule of Law.  It is time that we, as a people, return to the moral and ethical foundations that were recognized in our beginning.  It is time that those who believe in God recommit themselves to Him and having done all to stand, stand firm.

WHERE DID OUR LIBERTIES GO???


I don’t know if you have noticed or taken stock of the individual liberties and freedoms that we have either lost or have been so diluted that they are hardly liberties at all anymore!  Every despotic regime in history has utilized the tactic of slowly eroding individual liberties and often under the guise and pretense of doing what is best for the people at large.  They present the idea that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few and therefore things like redistribution of wealth, governmental control, and over-regulation of virtually everything.

The Obama administration sought to regulate everything even what we could eat or what our kids could eat in schools.  The Democratic platform is more of the same and even expansion of the Obama policies and ideologies.  Theirs is a continual assault on virtually all of our Freedoms and Liberties.  The Constitution is meaningless to them unless they can use it to advance their agenda.  They want us to become beholding to the Federal Government for our very existence.  They want us to become so dependent and fearful of Big Brother that we dare not voice a word of opposition lest we get cut off from the dole. 

The continual effort to build the base of “dependent voters” is never-ending.  The spin to vilify corporations and successful people has been used for centuries to separate people and win them over to the argument of the despots. Then they will willingly relinquish their rights and liberties thinking that this benevolent dictator will look out for their interest with a pure heart.  It never works out that way, but the sheep still follow the pied piper and drink the Kool-Aid as though it were the very nectar of life.

Under Donald Trump, it became easier to start a new business, but the plans of the Leftists will make it harder if not a virtual impossibility to succeed.  There will be so much governmental paperwork and regulation that the cost of attempting to produce your idea will be prohibitive.  That is a pathway to stifle American ingenuity.  The mandates in Obamacare were the tip of the iceberg to what they desire if allowed full control of the government. 

The class and race antagonism being overtly and covertly pushed by the Left will bring us to a place where martial law would be expected and possibly required.  I wonder how much of the coronavirus pandemic was manufactured by the nefarious in the world to bring us to our knees in submission.  I can never forget the words of Rahm Emanuel, “Never let a crisis go to waste.”  That is their philosophy and if there is not a natural crisis then one is precipitated to ensure the conditions to accomplish their goals.

America, we are witnessing our inalienable rights as provided by God and recognized in the Constitution and Declaration of Independence taken from us “by little and by little.”  Some have been so slowly eroded that we have not noticed they are gone. Sadly, we are waking up, after the fact, and realizing that many are gone and it will become virtually impossible to see them restored.  Government is seldom reduced in size. It may be held in check for a time but once something like the stimulus is presented and implemented it becomes part of the baseline budget and we get it every year without another vote and consent of WE THE PEOPLE! 

If we truly want to reduce the deficit and debt, we must adopt a “zero budget.”  The politicians on both sides of the aisle and especially the Left want to maintain their “baseline budget.”   That budget grows every year and will grow every year even if they reduce the amount or percentage of its growth.  It allows the behemoth called the federal government to continue a monster leaving us no ability to feed or control.  That would be true even if took 100% of our income and applied it to government expenditures. 

The idea of cutting the military by over 70% as under Obama and eliminating various portions of our armed forces was deadly.  The claim that we are spending too much on defense is ludicrous.  Over 70% of the Federal Budget goes to individual entitlements or subsidies.  It’s not the military that is the problem, although I agree there is waste that needs to be addressed.  National defense is a major function of the Federal Government so how can we rationally pare down our military to the point where we place this land at risk because of the lack of equipment or manpower to defend her? 

I ask that each of you think about these things and whatever you do VOTE in the future. I ask that in every election we seek to remove those whose views are contrary to freedom, liberty, the constitution, and America first.  If you do not vote you are voting through the back door for a continuation of the policy and ideology of Socialism and Globalism. It is an ideology and agenda that is being shoved down our throats as they continue stripping away of our liberties.  I want CHANGE and HOPE that is good for America! I pray that Americans will “awaken out of sleep” and see the handwriting on the wall and cast a ballot to RESTORE AMERICA to the foundational principles and operation that our Founders envisioned and put in place. 

My plea is, “Can I Have My Country Back, Please?”  The words of Benjamin Franklin keep ringing in my ears and wander through the corridors of my mind today.  He said when asked what type of government the Constitution was bringing into existence, “A republic if you can keep it.” 

I look back at the history of this nation and except for the tragedy of slavery, the United States came into existence as a nation where people could engage in any occupation or venture into any economic endeavor without a government license, permit, or regulation.  People could travel anywhere in the world without restriction (no passports) and trade with anyone they choose without having to get the permission of the government. 

We became a nation where people could amass unlimited amounts of wealth with no governmental interference because the Constitution did not permit the government to levy taxes on income.  People were free to do whatever they wanted with their own money.  They could save, spend, donate, invest, hoard, or even destroy it if they wanted to.  The government wasn’t allowed to take care of people.  That was the task of family, churches, local communities, and individuals.  There was no social security (and therefore no social security taxes or contributions withheld from one’s pay), Medicare, Medicaid, welfare, education grants, or even foreign aid.  There was no war on drugs, poverty, or wealth.

Today we have a government that places such a burden on businesses and individuals through taxes, restrictions, and regulations that we can hardly breathe much less excel.  We are facing a President in Joe Biden who wants more and more control over every detail of our lives and a Congress that seems to be very willing to go along with those desires as they line their pockets, insulate their positions of power, and participate in living the life of an Elite Ruling Class.  This is a far cry from what the Founders envisioned, planned, tried to prevent, and would raise a call to arms if they were here today. 

So, I ask Congress, the President, the Supreme Court, Churches, and every governmental agency in existence, “Can I have my country back?”  I don’t like what you’ve done to it and want to rescind your claim to it, your power over it, and your handling of it.  WE THE PEOPLE want to take over and desire that you step aside and find gainful employment in the workforce like the rest of us.  We ask that you not live a life of luxury by placing the burden of paying for it on the backs of hard-working, tax-paying citizens.  Simply,

WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK!  In every election, from this day forward I, as a natural-born legal citizen will VOTE to take it back from your control.  If those elected do not honor this request then in the next election, I will VOTE to send you back home too.  I will do that and try to get as many people to join me as possible in every election UNTIL those who go to Washington and the State capitals LISTEN TO WHAT WE ARE ASKING.  We just want our Country back!

THE DEPLORABLE NATION…


My title statement could be applied in many ways and none of them necessarily good.  One could say that America has become a Deplorable Nation and, in many respects, would not be inaccurate.  What has happened to our beloved America may well render her nothing more than a fond memory in the days, weeks, months, and years to come.  In the future we may find ourselves telling our grandchildren what it was like to live in a Free Republic that had and observed a legitimate constitution.  We may be talking about the ‘good old days’ with deep lamentation and remorse.  I pray that is not the reality we are destined to endure, but it sure looks like it is.

The Deplorable Nation to which I refer is those of us who support the Constitution, the Rule of Law, and voted for Donald J. Trump.  We are considered reprehensible vile dregs of humanity unworthy of taking up space on the planet or breathing its air.  I wish I could say that is the view of the Far Left but it is the view of the Near Left, the Far Left, the Mid-Left, the RINOs, the Media, and the so-called moderate Republicans who are abandoning the ship of sanity.  They are abandoning us in an effort to secure a spot at the table of Leftism hoping to protect their position and bottom line. 

I knew when the protests turned ugly with a few of the tens of thousands in DC peacefully protesting the election that many Republicans would immediately take advantage of that situation to certify Biden as ‘president-elect.’  The handwriting was on the wall long before the situation occurred.  I won’t get into what I think happened, the possible manipulation and setup, and the infiltration of activists and anarchists who were not Trump supporters.  Others are floating that balloon, so I will not speak to it at this time. I will only say, I detest violence and lawlessness no matter the source.

I have several observations regarding the future of American politics and the Republican Party in 2022, 2024, and beyond, if there is a beyond.  With the manner in which the non-investigation and rubber stamp of Congress with a few Republican dissenters the Republican Party is likely dead.  I would venture a guess that at least half of those who voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020 will find it impossible to vote for the Republicans who rejected the opportunity to review the evidence and determine the legitimacy or illegitimacy of the election. 

I am convinced that the McConnell’s of the Republican Party, the John Cornyn’s, and those of that ilk believe that people have short memories and will vote for them as they have in the past.  I believe that ship has sailed.  Many of us on the Right were asking for a genuine look at the evidence.  The myriad of sworn affidavits and other documented issues that raise questions, if not reveal overt criminality should have been reviewed in State Legislatures, the Courts, and lastly by the American Congress.  That was not too much to ask and everyone on both sides should have been willing to do that.  It would have appeased millions providing it was done with any semblance of legitimacy and honesty.

I am convinced that with the Democratic Socialist of the New Democratic Party there will be an all-out assault on the Constitution.  No, they don’t need to do that because with them controlling the government and now it seems the Courts, they have tossed that document into the waste bin and it no longer holds any weight.  It does for those of us who believe in the Republic. It does to a few members of the House of Representatives and a handful of Senators.  It does not to the Leftists, the RINOs, and the powers behind the scenes of the Deep State and Swamp. 

I would be surprised if there are not 2 to 4 new states accepted into the Union within the next two years.  Those states would include Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico which would guarantee 4 Democratic Senators of the Marxist Socialist ilk.  I have heard Guam as well and that would be 6 forever Democrats meaning that the Republicans would never again control that chamber.  Add to that the reapportionment of House seats that would come from the larger populace states such as Texas and Florida and you will see a reduction in conservatives in the House of Representatives.

No matter what anyone on the Left says about changing the rules to accommodate their agenda, the filibuster will be eliminated in the Senate and the Left will ram whatever legislation they desire through.  The House has not been shy about reshaping the rules to accommodate their ideological plans and will become even more blatant in their overt takeover of our system of government.  The constitution be damned, it is meaningless, at least to them.

Our inalienable right of Freedom of Speech has been under assault for quite some time and will now become Freedom of Speech if you are speaking from the Politically Correct line of the State but criminal if you are a conservative.  Christians who are conservative and speak what the Bible speaks calling sin what it is will be censored, silenced, incarcerated, and possibly exterminated.  I am in that number and expect my days of public ability to voice my concerns limited.  My days on earth may also be in danger. 

Our ability to keep and bear arms is on the shortlist of things they want to abolish.  I am convinced that any person, not of the liberal ideology, who exercises self-defense will be vilified and destroyed.  Defending your home will become a crime unless you are a Leftist with the deep pockets or power to employ security guards.  You will be praised but the rest of us will endure the vitriol of the anti-American Left. 

I expect to see many pastors forced from the pulpit if they refuse to submit their sermons for approval prior to preaching. I expect churches to be closed for any number of reasons and ultimately closed simply because they do not follow the Liberal ideology.  I expect to see the oil and gas industry decimated, energy, fuel, and all goods and services that survive become so astronomically priced the average citizen cannot afford them. 

My wife said today, if they turn off our electricity, we have a fireplace and a well so we can have heat and water.  I thought, how long will it take for them to ban having an open flame fire in the fireplace and deeming water, even from a private well the property of the government?  Many will insist that I am overreacting and engaging in alarmism, but I know what I am hearing in my spirit and the stated objectives of the Leftists.  How much can and will we endure before there is armed resistance to the takeover of our lives?  How long will it be before various states band together in a Confederation to Secede from the Union and incur the full force of the Totalitarian government of the Democratic Establishment? 

I care what people think of me but as Jeremiah and Ezekiel of the Bible, I must sound the alarm when I see danger.  No, I do not consider myself on par with those men but in line with the directive of Scripture to be a Watchman on the Walls and warn of danger.  If I fail to do that, I have no purpose on this earth and know that I would find myself in the disfavor of the Heavenly Father. 

Buckle up America the ride we are about to endure is not going to be smooth.  I know many insist that we won’t endure this because Jesus is coming to take us away before anything really bad happens.  Over 40 years ago I heard the Holy Spirit say, “Trouble is coming and out of that trouble will be a massive end-time harvest.”  I told congregations that the only way I saw the Book of Revelation being fulfilled was for the Soviet Union and the United States to become less than Superpowers.  The USSR went down and now it appears that the USA is going to be decimated beyond recovery.

Here is my suggestion, hope and prayer.  Never, never, never stop praying and putting your trust and confidence in God!  If we perish, we perish but we are not without Hope.  God is still God and will NEVER fail.  In Him we have Hope.  In Him we have Life.  In Him, we have a Future.  My eternal soul is priceless and my confidence in God unshakable. Keep looking up for our Redemption drawing near!

WHAT DID THE FOUNDERS THINK OF CHRISTIANITY?


I’ve heard much about the Founders not being Christian and that they wanted to ensure that Christianity would have no place in government that it set me to study and further examination.  It is true the Thomas Paine turned from the biblical foundation and published what was called “The Age of Reason” which was widely rejected by the majority of the Founding Fathers.  Let me give you just a brief synopsis of how they responded.

First, I want to copy Benjamin Franklin’s letter to Mr. Paine regarding Paine’s concept or argument against a providential God.  Mr. Franklin’s letter is as follows:

TO THOMAS PAINE. [Date uncertain.]
DEAR SIR,

I have read your manuscript with some attention. By the argument it contains against a particular Providence, though you allow a general Providence, you strike at the foundations of all religion. For without the belief of a Providence, that takes cognizance of, guards, and guides, and may favor particular persons, there is no motive to worship a Deity, to fear his displeasure, or to pray for his protection. I will not enter into any discussion of your principles, though you seem to desire it. At present, I shall only give you my opinion, that, though your reasonings are subtle and may prevail with some readers, you will not succeed so as to change the general sentiments of mankind on that subject, and the consequence of printing this piece will be, a great deal of odium drawn upon yourself, mischief to you, and no benefit to others. He that spits against the wind, spits in his own face.

But, were you to succeed, do you imagine any good would be done by it? You may find it easy to live a virtuous life, without the assistance afforded by religion; you having a clear perception of the advantages of virtue, and the disadvantages of vice, and possessing the strength of resolution sufficient to enable you to resist common temptations. After that encounter, Mr. Paine published his “Age of Reason” and that publication so infuriated many of the Founding Fathers that their response was quick and severe.  John Adams responded:  “The Christian religion, is above all the religions that ever prevailed or existed in ancient or modern times, the religion of wisdom, virtue, equity, and humanity, let the Blackguard [scoundrel, rogue] Paine say what he will.”  Samuel Adams wrote a scathing response to Mr. Paine saying:  “When I heard you had turned your mind to a defense of infidelity, I felt myself much astonished and more grieved that you had attempted a measure so injurious to the feelings and so repugnant to the true interest of so great a part of the citizens of the United States.” 

Benjamin Rush wrote to John Dickinson that Paine’s “Age of Reason” was “absurd and impious.” Charles Carroll characterized Paine’s work as “blasphemous writings against the Christian religion.”  John Witherspoon called Paine, “ignorant of human nature as well as an enemy of the Christian faith.”  Elias Boudinot, President of Congress went so far as to publish “Age of Revelation” a full-length rebuttal of Paine’s work.  Patrick Henry also wrote a refutation of Paine’s work which he described as “the puny efforts of Paine.”

It did not stop there for William Paterson, a signer of the Constitution and a Justice on the U.S. Supreme Court said upon learning that some American’s tended to buy into Paine’s argument shouted out, “Infatuated Americans, why renounce your country, your religion, and your God?”  Zephaniah Swift who wrote America’s first law book wrote regarding Thomas Paine, “He has the impudence and effrontery [shameless boldness] to address the citizens of the United States of America a paltry performance which is intended to shake their faith in the religion of their fathers.”  

John Jay, an author of the Federalist Papers and the original Chief-Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, was comforted by the fact that Christianity would prevail despite Paine’s attack and said, “I have long been of the opinion that the evidence of the truth of Christianity requires only to be carefully examined to produce conviction in candid minds.”

Thomas Paine’s views caused such a reaction and rejection and the public opposition so great that he spent his last years in New York as “an outcast” in “social ostracism” and was buried in a farm field because no American cemetery would accept his remains.

Why do I post this?  Simply to ask, how could men of such devotion to the Christian faith be assumed to desire that God have no part in the government of this great land?  Even though they were devoted to Christianity they also had an intense desire to protect the right of every citizen to have Freedom of Religion.  There is no mention of “Separation of Church and State” in the Constitution.  That is an interpretation of man.  Instead what they desired was to ensure that the Federal Government would NEVER create a national religion and give it favoritism over any other religion. 

The Founders consistently and continually encouraged prayer in public places, the teaching of the Bible as well as the Constitution in the public schools.  We would do well to return to their foundation in modern-day America.  We have expelled God from all public institutions and yet expect Him to grant favor and grace to this nation.  The founders knew the importance of the Bible in our laws and lives and regardless of your faith, we should desire to see a return to the foundational principles of the Founders and restore the inalienable right of Freedom of Religion as well as all our other freedoms that have been gradually eroded and some eliminated completely. 

The most recent election in 2020 was a referendum on God as much as it was animus against Donald Trump by the haters.  It was a reflection of our condition as a people, a church, and a nation.  Where it leads is to be determined but I do not believe that we are heading in the right direction if we follow the toxicity of liberalism.  I want to see America restored to the Exceptionalism that I grew up under and caused this country to become the greatest country in the world, in my opinion.

ELECTORAL INTEGRITY – – Key to Survival as a Free Republic…


As we stand on the brink of the determination of America’s future as a Republic or something fundamentally other, the thought of ‘Electoral Integrity’ is on my heart and mind.  I have had many restless nights as I contemplate America’s future if the declaration of the presumed election results stands.  I have tossed and turned, prayed and cried, and examined many scenarios in my mind. 

I have some thoughts, that you may or may not share.  I have a plea that you may or may not believe valid or viable.  I have a hope and it is not in the American Electoral System or those elected to political office and occupying offices in Washington.  My Hope is in God and God alone!  At one time, I had hope in the American people, but that has largely dissipated.  At one time, I had hope in the American spirit that provided the impetus and fortitude to birth this Republic and keep her Free for over 240 years, but that has waned.  I still believe that a majority of Americans want what I want, Freedom, and Constitutional Integrity in government.  However, I no longer am convinced that a majority is willing to fight to the finish to maintain the constitutional integrity of the Republic.

EVERY VOTE?

I, and everyone interested in free and fair elections, should desire that we never allow fraud and illegitimacy to prevail.  No one, who values the Constitution and our Freedoms should be willing to allow illegitimate and illegal votes to be counted.  Anyone willing to ‘win at any cost’ is not a friend of Freedom but fully vested in selfishness.  I want to win but do not want to win by hook or crook.  I want to win legitimately because that is the only means by which we maintain the Constitutional Republic we have enjoyed.

The mantra that ‘every vote must be counted’ is a skewed and distorted expression.  It is either fraught with naivety believing that no one would cheat or is engaging in the Saul Alinsky modus operandi of ‘the end justifies the means.’  No Christian, no Patriot, and no Lover of Freedom from either side of the political aisle should be willing to create a condition where elections are won by the most devious and crooked.  One legal person, one vote must return to our elections or we doom the Republic.

TOSSED BY THE COURTS?

I have heard the repeated argument by the Leftists and those who detest Trump that the Courts have rejected the lawsuits regarding election fraud.  They argue that means there is nothing there.  I find that implausible because there is the blatant ignoring of ‘sworn affidavits’ of eye-witness accounts of voter fraud and criminality.  Those affidavits are under the penalty of perjury and in all cases, other than this, is considered by the courts as evidence.  Why not in this case? 

The refusal to allow the GOP poll watchers to observe into the night as vote counting was resumed in the wee hours of the morning is questionable, if not revealing.  The refusal to allow forensic examination of the voting machines and their algorithms leaves doubt in the minds of millions and should be addressed.  The refusal to allow the purging of the voter rolls of people who are known to be deceased or have moved out of state prior to the election is troubling.  The insistence n 2016 that the Russians stole the election for Trump but in 2020 to claim there is no way the election can be stolen is not naïve it is diabolical.

If you are one that is willing to ‘win at any cost’ and unconcerned about legitimacy and legality, then you and I cannot walk together.  What people think of me and my stance is secondary to the Truth.  This election revealed that ‘down ballot’ from the presidential race the Republicans did quite well and even better than expected in many races.  However, when it came to the presidential race, with Trump leading and seemingly headed to a significant victory to suddenly find massive numbers of votes for Biden with virtually no votes for Trump raises questions that need answers.

CONGRESS HAS THE FINAL SAY?

I pose that as a question not an absolute.  Ultimately, I believe that God has the final say, but in the human political arena who has the final say?  It could be argued that it is the Supreme Court, but Constitutionally Congress is the final arbiter of the election.  Congress is commissioned by the Constitution to determine if the electors from each state are legitimate.  That is why I believe that the proposal by Senators Cruz and others for a ten-day investigation is reasonable. 

I believe it is needful that all the ‘sworn affidavits’ are reviewed, the respondents interviewed, the voting machines examined, and the potential anomalies or atrocities of the algorithms.  Voter rolls should be examined, and signature verification should be mandatory.  All members of Congress, both Democrats and Republicans should want legitimacy in the electoral process.  Anything less creates an atmosphere and image that makes progress and healing virtually impossible.

WHAT CAN WE DO?

What Can We Do is the question that I keep asking myself and voicing in my prayers for the nation.  What can we do?  There are many things and some of them should have been done decades ago but in the immediate, there are several things that we can do, even today.

  • We can continue to intercede for the Nation.
  • We can, no we must CONTACT our Senators and Congressional Representatives and voice of demand for a full examination of any and all evidence and possible irregularities.

Someone said, “If this stands every Republican should be ‘primaried’ and voted out of office.”  I would agree but frankly, do not think it will make a hill of beans difference in 2022 or 2024 if this stands without a full investigation.  Why do I say that?  Let me list several things that I see happening in the immediate future if the Leftists are in full control of the government. The key at this point is the Senate. If they win there too the following is likely if not guaranteed:

  • Two New States, Puerto, and DC will become states and that means four new liberal leftists Senators as well as the new representatives they are apportioned.
  • The Supreme Court will be expanded by at least four justices all liberal leftist political activists will become a reality.
  • The draconian authoritarian totalitarian mandates from the federal and state governments will become the new norm in America.
  • Our Economy, our Healthcare System, and our Inalienable Rights will be transformed and infringed upon negatively.
  • Those of us who are seniors and conservatives will be targeted for repression if not for elimination.

I had a dream in which I saw hooded or masked people burning the Constitution and Bibles chanting chants of anti-Americanism and anti-God in every major city in America.  I saw a virtual ‘open season’ being declared by various activist groups and a ‘blind eye’ being turned by the government.  I saw the American flag being taken down, churches being burned, and abominable activities transpiring in public view.

Two things can save America.  God is first and foremost our Hope!  Secondly, it is the citizens waking up and demanding Electoral Integrity in all elections.  I can accept any legitimate election.  I may not like it, but I can accept it and because my trust is in God not government, I will continue to live in Faith, not Fear.  I say with Queen Esther, “If I perish, I perish.”  I say with Joshua, “As for me and my house we will serve the LORD.” 

America we are on the brink of destruction.  We must fight for Electoral Integrity and fight to ensure that ONLY legal votes are counted, and all violators held accountable.  If we value the Republic as the Free Constitutional Republic, we must all, Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and Libertarians must demand Electoral Integrity.

LIPSTICK ON A PIG…


When I was growing up, I sometimes heard that a person who seems to be Teflon and nothing stuck to them, “They could fall into a cesspool and come up smelling like a rose.”  The implication was that no matter what they did they never suffered for their indiscretions and failures. 

In watching the past four years and the vitriolic diatribe and rhetoric hurled against President Donald Trump I have concluded that he could do nothing they would applaud.  He could fall into a Rose Perfume bath and they would insist he was covered with Pig Poop.  When I question the hate, I am attacked and told, “We do not hate!”  Then the attack is launched calling me a Trumpist, a Cultist, a Racist, or some other derogatory term saying that I worship Trump.  I am not a cultist or a racist and although I have supported the President I am not, in the sense they mean it, a Trumpist.  I am an American and a lover of Constitutionalism.

I have asked and been asked, “What is it that drives the hatred for Donald John Trump?”  I have concluded that it is far more than his caustic personality and propensity to push back when pushed.  It is more than his New Yorker bravado or even the egotism and narcissism he and most politicians exhibit to some degree.  If it is not the man, what is it? 

I believe it is hate, you can call it whatever you please but it is difficult to disguise hate for anything other than hate.  The bile and vitriol that issues forth from the lips and writings of those who insist he is incarnate evil cannot be mistaken for anything other than what it is – HATE!  But what is the core reason for the hatred for him?

Let me insert that I believer there are those who believe in America and truly believe that Trump is damaging and dangerous to our Constitutional form of Governance. They do not hate him for the same reasons that the Leftists do.  They, in my view, dislike him because of his personality, moral flaws, and bravado and bluster.  They want a milquetoast President who exhibits what they deem to be Presidential.  However, they have excused the very things they insist are flaws in him in the Leftists such as Biden, Obama, etc.  It is a bit perplexing.  They are not who I am going to refer to in my comments on the core reason for the eruptive hatred.

I believe that those on the Left, the followers of the toxic liberalism, Socialism, Marxism, and Progressivism of the 2000s hate him for a specific reason other than personality.  The Left has been accustomed to Republicans running for cover when they hurl their insults and accusations.  They have been accustomed to Republicans playing by their rules of civility while violating those rules themselves.  They have been accustomed to enjoying the timidity of the Republicans over public opinion and negative media coverage.  Donald Trump does not follow those rules therefore he is a threat to them, and they determined at the outset he had to be destroyed. 

I believe their hate is rooted in his willingness to stand for the American people, the Constitution, and attempt to expose the corruption and drain the swamp.  That is anathema to the Elitist of both parties and the reason that they have been hell-bent on destroying him and anyone who supports him. 

In our snowflake world of political correctness and entitlement, there is the inane view that people have the right to not being offended.  The elitists have spent decades and in the case of Joe Biden almost five decades enjoying the advantages of being a part of the swamp they are horrified if anyone threatens that status quo. 

The Leftists have contempt for the average citizen as were reflected in the remarks of Barack Hussein Obama as he called us ‘bitter clingers’ clinging to our religion and our guns.  Hillary declared that half of Trump supporters could be placed into a basket of deplorables.  I acknowledge that Biden has concealed his contempt better than those two but his demonstrated actions and announced agenda reveal that he is a pea in the same pod.  He has been more involved in the lucrative advancement of himself and his family that comes with his position and ability to market his influence.  That is taking advantage of ordinary people as much as Obama or Clinton.

The Elitists, especially those in the media and the Democratic Party were terrified and incensed that average Americans were exhibiting signs of believing in themselves again.  The message proclaimed by Trump resonated with millions and the sleeping giant began to awaken.  The elitists of the Swamp and the Deep State knew they must act quickly and decisively and crush the insurrection against their abuse of power.  They determined that Trump had to be destroyed and ousted in any manner possible. If that meant fraud, corruption, deception, and destroying our electoral system they were completely at peace with that.

Trump, inspired a resurrection of what I call ‘real America and Americanism.’  The average John and Jane Doe who worked for a living were inspired and meaningful again.  The average citizen, who earned their way and volunteered their time on the weekends to help youth and children develop, and many attended church or synagogue regularly were the focus again.  All things the swamp denizens of the deep state detest. 

I suggest that none of the globalists from the Bushes, Obamas, Clintons Carters, Johnsons, or many other politicians dating back to FDR and beyond respected the average citizen.  We were and are, in their view, tools to get them what they want.  We are, in their minds, their serfs and they believe we should be grateful for any handout or crumb they toss our way.  They believe they are the providers of our liberties and have the right to decide what we can and cannot have or do.  I suggest that only Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump in the past almost 100 years have truly put ordinary Americans first or considered their needs and desires.

We have evolved from the Swamp and Deep State Statist Elitists being political snobs to something incredibly sinister.  They want to imprison if not exterminate all who hold to conservative constitutional Christian values.  I believe that Biden/Harris or Harris/Biden if allowed to advance their agenda will not only damage our liberties but destroy our Republic.  They want to pack the court, provide universal abortion rights, increase our taxes, regulate small businesses into extinction, strip us of our 1st, 2nd, and other Constitutional and Inalienable Rights.  They believe they are superior to the rest of us and their membership in the Elitist Statist Society of Washington has afforded them a Teflon badge exempting them from the laws we have to obey.

America, the hatred for Donald John Trump the 45th President of the United States of America has torn this country to shreds.  If hate becomes the norm in politics and society, we will see bloodshed beyond anything any of us believe possible.  The fruit of the seeds of disintegration in race relations under Obama is producing a harvest today.  That harvest is negative and destructive.

You may be a Never Trump Person and believe that he is worse than Lucifer himself.  It matters not your reason, but if you allow hate to blind you from reality and prevent you from seeing the devastation of the Left you are part of the problem not part of the solution.  You can love me, hate me, unfriend me on Social Media and call me whatever you please.  I can live with that.  My plea is, stop allowing personal animus to blind you to the danger inherent in the toxic liberalism of the Democratic Party and the Political Establishment.

WHEN FREEDOM OF SPEECH DIES, AMERICA DIES…


A critical and foundational statement in the Declaration of Independence is, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”  Likewise, the First Amendment to our American Constitution is vital if we are to remain free.  It declares, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

I never cease to be amazed at how little most Americans know of the Constitution and how few of those teaching in institutions of ‘higher-learning’ accept the document in its original construction and intent.  The First Amendment clearly states that Congress is restricted from passing any law that abridges or infringes upon our Freedom of Religion, Speech, or Press.  Yet, Congress has for decades done just that and today we are on the brink of losing many if not most of our inalienable and constitutional rights. 

I am not sure which the followers of toxic liberalism want to abridge or rescind first, Freedom of Religion or Speech.  I am not sure those will come before their assault on the Second Amendment and our Right of Self-Defense embodied in the Right to Keep and Bear Arms but they will come.  Those are all in the crosshairs of their agenda as is States Rights and our Right to Personal Property.  We, in those empowered in government, are simply tools to provide funds and the manpower to achieve their purposes.  We are not, in their view, the owners and overseers of government. 

In 2021 America, I am convinced that it is a virtual impossibility to defend Freedom of Speech and be a Democrat.  I realize that my declaration will make me persona non grata to many and I will become the target of the followers of the ideology advanced by that political party.  I am sad to say that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find elected Republicans who truly defend Freedom of Speech and our other inalienable and constitutional rights.  The Elitist and Establishment of both political parties appear more interested in protecting their position and place than serving as our representatives and doing our business governmentally.  That presents a plight that I will get to at another time.

I do not support or endorse people being malicious and rude.  There is generally no reason for that.  It is one thing to hold a view that is offensive to a person holding a different view but another to be arbitrarily mean-spirited, rude, and malicious.  There is no justification for calling for sedition or inciting riots.  Intellectually, factually, morally, ethically, biblically, and constitutionally arguing a position can be done with the context of civility.  Please understand, I am neither a dove nor a hawk when it comes to war but if we must fight for the right to be Free, we must fight and fight to win. 

Just one short generation ago someone could say, “this is not politically correct” and then make their remarks knowing it might offend some.  Both sides understood that we had the inalienable and constitutional right to our thoughts and views.  We were free to express them, and others were free to challenge them or reject them.  In that, we saw the diametric contrast between the Communist control of language and speech and the American way of liberty.  The speaker might fully understand that others would likely take exception to their view but knew that they had the God-given right to their personal view as did the hearers. 

In 2021 America and over the past decade or so, if you say something that is deemed by the powers that be “politically incorrect” you can and may lose your job.  You may find that you are not accepted into a university or a club based on our views.  The Social Enforcers or PC Police are active and Big Brother is watching all the time.  Social Media records our every word and modern technology our activities.  We are under the microscope continually and many live with the paralyzing fear of crushing one of the eggshells that we are forced to walk on.

Just a generation ago rather than demanding censorship of the speaker people would walk away if they found the conversation offensive or unpalatable.  Today, the Snowflake world and PC Police want to incarcerate any and all who offend the sensitivities of the liberal left.  They are allowed to offend those of us on the other side but demand that we comply and embrace their view or sit in silence.  That is not Constitutional nor is it biblical.  That is the view of much of the Left and the majority of the Democratic Establishment.  That is one of the reasons I say it is impossible to be a Democrat and support Freedom of Speech. 

I am old enough to remember the little rhyme we were taught to deal with differences of opinion and name-calling.  “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.”  That was considered an important comprehension for adolescence.  It was viewed as a necessary understanding as we became adults.  We were taught that everyone did not agree and that was okay.  We were taught that we did not have to retaliate tit for tat and insult for insult.  We were taught that we were not entitled to a life free of offense.  We were taught to GROW UP! 

If there is such a creature as a “Free Speech Democrat” it is time for them to WALK AWAY from their party and join those of us of all political stripes who support that basic and foundational freedom.  If Speech is not Free for Everyone it is Free for No One!  Sadly, many on the Left, some on the Right, virtually all in the media and academia seem to believe that the First Amendment only protects the modern progressive snowflake mentality and bans anything from conservatives, Christians, and constitutionalists.  That must end!

Another dimension in the fight for Free Speech is being launched from those who do not believe in God or have a skewed view of the Bible.  A Pew Research Poll conducted in October 2019 revealed that those identifying as atheist, agnostic, or nothing in particular religiously increased from 17% to 26%.  That is disturbing to me.  Additionally, the poll indicated that those identifying as Christians decreased by 12% to 65% during that same timeframe.  That is doubly disturbing.  Before the Pandemic Isolation, only 54% attend only a few services annually or less.  I connect the assault on Freedom of Speech to that decline or increase in non-believers of biblical truths and principles.

We are in a war for Freedom and it has begun with Freedom of Speech and will extend to all our Freedoms, Liberties, and Rights.  We are marching rapidly toward a totalitarian authoritarian governmental structure where the jackboots of tyranny will suppress us.  If we do not awaken from our slumber and unite, we will not survive.  Mario Murillo and others have said, “Christianity will survive without America, but America will not survive without Christianity.”  I believe that is correct!

HAPPY NEW YEAR – May 2021 Be a Year of Joy and Blessings to All.

JUST CHECKING THE CONSTITUTION….


I just reread the Constitution of the United States of America and found that the Constitution directly and clearly employs techniques to preserve our liberties and privacy.  There is a direct limitation as to the authority of the Federal Government, limiting it to only those things specifically listed.  Another reality is the explicit restriction of power through the Bill of Rights.  It is quite clear that the Founders desired to use the basic structure of government to protect the people.  They separated the branches of government to provide checks and balances and gave most of the power to the individual states which our current Federal Government seems to miss and seems to think it has the right to mandate everything to the states and the citizens.  The Constitution prohibits that expressly.

When Barack Obama was sworn in as President, he swore an oath to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”  Article II, Section 3 directs the President to “take care that the Laws be faithfully executed.”  Sadly, that was a myth with his administration.  We realized that in the many scandals and infringements he and his team exercised.  We saw it in the DOJ, IRS, Fast and Furious, Ben Ghazi, and a myriad of other things.  Who was the Vice President?  Joe Biden the man the Democrats advanced in this past presidential election.  America are we that stupid, ignorant, or blind?

In 2011 the Department of Homeland Security announced that it would halt the deportation proceedings against a multitude of illegals.  Those attending school, those who have family in the military or are primarily responsible for family members’ care.  They were allowed to apply for work permits.  That in itself was a violation of the existing Federal Laws.  Another example of Obama’s thumbing his nose at the Constitution and the authority of Congress is his implementation of the Dream Act via Executive order even though the Act DID NOT PASS Congress and IS NOT SUPPORTED by the majority of the American people.  Joe Biden and Kamala Harris want to go far beyond Obama’s efforts and literally turn American into a turnstile allowing ingress and egress for whoever desires whenever they desire.

Obama’s job and that of any president is described in the Constitution.  The president is not and should never be allowed to perform as a Super Legislator who implements laws when a bill he supports fails in Congress.  That type of governance is a flagrant abuse of the doctrine of “prosecutorial discretion,” and it amounts to lawlessness. It is an impeachable offense, but Congress sat on their hands and did nothing and will do nothing if any Democrat operates in like manner.

Obama spoke to the National Council of La Raza in July of 2011 and said that he would not go around Congress and implement immigration reform or grant amnesty because “that’s not how our democracy functions.”  Amazingly three short weeks later that is exactly what he did with his executive order.  Where was Congress in all this?  The President no matter who he or she might be is sworn to “uphold and defend the Constitution.” When the Constitution is ignored and violated the question I always ask is, “Where was and where is Congress?”

I have often declared that a liberal leftist in the White House is a lesser problem than the spinelessness of the Republicans in Congress.  Those cowards who are unwilling or afraid to take on the violator.  I don’t care if it is out of fear of being labeled a racist or any other moniker.  They have a job to do and it is their sworn duty to uphold the Constitution and obey the laws of the land.  Therefore, I say, “Congress, Do Your Job!”  We the people expect it and if we would make our dissatisfaction abundantly clear in each election, we would get their attention. We could be in for a very difficult four-years if Congress does not do their jobs!

That causes me to ask, “This is still America, isn’t it?”  We must never allow any president or politician to operate in total violation of the Constitution and exhibit utter disrespect for that document, our system of government, and the American people.  If a politician demonstrates they are more concerned with achieving their ideological agenda than serving America and the American people that politician needs to be shown the door.

Sadly, for over 50 years we have been the proverbial frog in the pan of water. We have sat and soaked while the radical left, socialist, communist, Marxist, and those desiring the destruction of America and the establishment of a World Government absent of individual liberties and rights have been working tirelessly.  The words from history uttered by one of our Founders should shock us into reality:  “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”– Benjamin Franklin 

Let me give you three more quotes:

This is still America, right?  If so, then don’t you think that it is high time that we awaken from our slumber and begin to build the fire of resistance through all legitimate means and begin to put more pressure on our elected officials than they have ever experienced.  Maybe we should put pressure on the pastors as well that they recognize the hour in which we live and call people to repentance and yes, even identify the immorality of many of the programs of the Federal Government. 

Please don’t cry the “Separation of Church and State Argument.” The actual language and intent as has been clearly revealed in the writings of those putting forth the Amendment was to prevent the Federal Government from forming a National Religion and giving favoritism to it over the others.  They desperately wanted every citizen to be able to have Freedom of Religion along with our other freedoms.  There comes a time when no matter what the government says we must obey God rather than man.  I believe that this is that Time!

If you believe that we must have change in government from the local to the national level then join the efforts of the multitudes of groups already in existence and let’s develop a unified voice and take individual responsibility for Changing the Condition of government in America and restoring it to what the Founders envisioned and initiated.

I CAN HEAR THE FOUNDERS TURNING OVER IN THEIR GRAVES…


One can only imagine how the Founding Fathers would react if they stepped on the political scene today and say the massive amounts of money invested in securing political office.  I am convinced they would deem it totally contrary to their desire for a non-professional system of public servants called legislators and Presidents.  I believe they would wonder, as do I, why so much money is willingly poured into securing an office that produces such a paltry amount of income compared to what is being spent. 

I believe they would logically conclude that it has to do with Power, Influence, and Control rather than Public Service and would Irate!  I believe that they would have much the same reaction as Jesus concerning the money changers in the Temple and John the Baptist to the Pharisees who came to him to be baptized.  I believe they would urge the populace to Clean House at least every term or two and send fresh new blood to Washington in hopes of conveying the message that those elected officials responsibility and duty was to represent the people, protect and defend the United States and honor the Constitution.

Today, Political Action Committees (PACs) and an innumerable collection of special interest groups clamor for the attention of all candidates and especially those whom they deem to be likely to be elected.  They seek to create a sense of obligation or gratitude on the part of the candidate so he or she will be favorable to their positions, agendas, and/or goals.  In short, they are buying politicians.  What better way to ensure that you get inside information, favoritism in negotiations, and anchor yourself and your business interests in the good ole boy or cronyism system that is prevalent in DC today.

If you are fed up, as I am, with the current way of doing business in Washington DC and desire to see America restored to her core principles and values then it is time to awaken from our slumber and do our due diligence to determine which candidates are best suited to fulfill that dream.  We have already let that ship sail again and I can only pray we have enough time to awaken and correct our mistake.  We may have to accept lesser individuals initially.  But if we stay the course we can, in a few election cycles, convey the message that We Demand a Return to America’s Roots! 

We must demand that the Constitution be followed.  We must demand that the rule of law be adhered to.  We must demand that life be given the sanctity that God gives it. We must demand that there be no more career politicians in Washington or the State Houses.  We must demand that God be put back in our schools, our churches are allowed to worship freely as guaranteed by the Constitution, and as the Founders, the wisdom of the Bible be sought in making laws and developing policies for this nation.

It seems that the only religion that those arguing for Separation of Church & State ever attacks is the Christian Religion.  We seem to be the only ones that the government believes are guilty of offending others.  We are the targets of their overly aggressive desire to be PC and we’ve been booted out of the Public Schools, Public Buildings, and Public Grounds.  Unfortunately, too many Christians have bought the flawed argument that government must be secular only and the Church dare not engage in anything political.  That is foreign to the Bible and the ideology and actions of the Founders as well as the Constitution.  The First Amendment does not mandate a separation of Church & State it only mandates that the Federal Government WILL NOT establish a National Religion and give it preferential treatment over other religions. 

I am a Christian and an American citizen and I have a LIFE that cannot be compartmentalized into work-life, business life, social life, spiritual life, and political life. I’m not a cat I do not have nine-lives.  I have a life and that life affects everything around me including the political.  That is why I am so driven to educate all I can and seek to see America restored.  I do it for the sake of Freedom and the sake of the Kingdom of God!

As I contemplate the reaction of the Founders and men such as Jefferson, Adams, and Washington, I am convinced they would be saying with Thomas Paine, “Bring it!  Bring it on!“  I truly believe if they could somehow arise from the grave and address the nation today, they would say to those wanting to destroy America, “Bring it on.”  Jefferson would call for the watering of the tree of liberty again.  Washington would be incensed at the corruption and Adams would organize another revolution. 

They didn’t back down from the King of England and all his money and military might because they believed in Liberty and Justice for All. They believed in the inalienable rights of human beings and that each of us has the right to pursue Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness as God-given and uninfringeable.  They believed that the Federal Government should be constrained from interfering in the daily lives and business of individuals and States and should provide for the general welfare and defense of the nation not becoming so all-consuming and all-controlling as to dictate to us what we can do, where we can go, how we can live, etc.

That’s why you have so many recorded impassioned speeches by those men that placed their very lives in jeopardy.  They believed in a cause that they perceived as God-inspired and Righteous.  They sought to prohibit the nation from becoming a Welfare Nanny State and believed that people should be industrious and that laziness should never be rewarded. 

They believed that helping the poor & needy was a community, church, and family responsibility not that of the Federal Government.  When I was growing up, we helped our neighbors in time of need by gathering crops, building a barn that had burned or a home.  We provided food, clothing, and shelter to those around us although none of us had much more than what barely met our own needs, and yet none of us went hungry, lacked a place to live, and had clothes to wear.  Those clothes may have been homemade or hand-me-downs, but they were clean and served the purpose.  We didn’t have cell phones, internet, video games, and most of us had not T.V. and we survived and contrary to popular opinion it did not take a community to raise a child it took parents who were willing do discipline and care for them.  It didn’t require the State or the Federal Government to do it.

They wrote the Constitution as much to protect us from the Centralized Federal Government as they did for the Federal Government.  They amended it to further protect our inalienable rights as human beings of God’s creation.  They honored God and sought the counsel of the clergy while encouraging the Bible should be taught in the public schools as well as the Constitution in addition to Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic, History, Geography, and the Sciences.  They studied devotedly, labored tirelessly, and fought ferociously to give us what we have to do so I believe that if they saw the trampling of the Constitution by this President and the left they would say, “Bring it on!”   They would be publicly crying out from every available source of the atrocities being committed against the people and the founding principles of this nation.  Don’t you think it’s about time that we do the same?

Elections are critical and if we allow even one to slip through our fingers and we will pay dearly but if we have any hope of salvaging the Republic we MUST become and stay engaged.  We can, with the help of God, overcome even that eventuality and send a resounding message to Washington and the world that we are Fed Up and Want Our Country Back and we are Taking It back legitimately and legally without force or violence! 

To do that we must PRAY fervently.  We must WORK diligently.  We must GIVE of ourselves, our time, and lives to offset the deep pockets of the Fundamental Change Machine that is being advanced.
