SHOULD WE BE WORRIED or AT LEAST CONCERNED?


What could I be talking about?  The question, “Should We Be Worried or at Least Concerned?” brings a myriad of thoughts into the discussion.  I suggest that many ideas could or should be brought to the table and embodied in the question of the need for worry or concern.  However, I am speaking of something specific.  I am targeting the plan of the Democrats to force America into a “Vote by Mail” situation.  I see that, not as a genuine attempt to stem the spread of the COVID-19 virus but as a ploy to gain total control of the elections, ALL ELECTIONS!

I’ve been told that to sound this alarm is to engage in paranoia and engage in fear-mongering. I have even been told that it is an abandonment of my faith in God.  I disagree!  God instructed in Ezekiel Chapters 3 & 33 that it is the responsibility of the observant watchmen to ‘sound the alarm’ when they saw danger.  He said that failure to do so would result in the blood of those overcome being on our hands.  That is a powerfully stern warning and reason to engage in “see something, say something.”  I adapt that to cover all of life, the physical, emotional, fiscal, and spiritual.  In this attempt to force “Vote by Mail”, I SEE SOMETHING, and I am SOUNDING THE ALARM!

The Democrats, under the oversight of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, failed to secure all they wanted in the ‘relief bill’ and now they are at it again.  If you do not realize it, evil never sleeps and the nefarious appear to lay awake at night thinking of ways to implement their plans.  The Bible says in Psalms 36 that the wicked plan wickedness while in bed.  This is an extension of Rahm Emanuel’s edict, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.”  They don’t and they won’t.

The top Democratic hopeful Joe Biden agrees with Pelosi and the rest of the Democrats and insists that we must make it mandatory to implement “Vote by Mail.”  Pelosi has insisted that she will seek and demand at least $4 Billion to implement that plan.  She got $25 million for the Kennedy Center who then gave $5 million to the DNC.  How long will we remain blind and not draw the line in the sand and say, NO! 

Pelosi has insisted that there must be mandatory “Early Voting” in ALL STATES!  The polls, according to her plan, must remain open no less than 10 hours each day for more than two weeks before election day.  Let me ponder that a moment.  If this is to keep people from being exposed to the virus, why do the Democrats encourage public transportation which increases exposure?  Why do I include that question?  Because the plan mandates that polling placed be within walking distance of a bus or metro stop.  Isn’t that a bit counterproductive and hypocritical?  I conclude that it has nothing to do with preventing the virus but to gain the upper hand in the election. 

They also insist that it would be Un-American to purge the voter rolls of ineligible, illegal, or dead people.  Their argument is that would somehow be voter suppression.  How can you suppress the vote of a person who is ineligible, illegal, or dead?  They have no right to vote so their right cannot be suppressed. 

The Democrats are insisting that all who are eligible to cast a vote would receive a ballot.  I feel compelled to ask “Who checks the authenticity of those addresses, names, and protects against multiple votes, voter fraud, and other illegalities?”  The answer, Nobody! Why, because they insist that we must trust the American people to follow the honor system.  After, all only Republicans and Conservatives cheat, right?  Hey, watch out for those flying pigs and unicorns and the green cheese meteorites falling from the moon. 

California was forced to remove 1.5 million ineligible voters from their rolls due to a court settlement.  That was after their voter rolls revealed a registration of 112%.  Hey, that’s a nice cushion if you are a Leftist so why tamper with the goose that lays the golden eggs?  In California, we know that there were 5 million ballots, over 40% of the vote counted AFTER election day in 2018.  Why?  Those ballots had mismatched signatures and it was deemed needful to give them time to fix that discrepancy.  What? 

The illustrious New York Times published an article in 2012 in which they documented the many ways it is ‘easier to commit fraud by mail’ than otherwise.  That article declared that fraud was ‘vastly more prevalent’ in mail-in voting than in-person voting. 

Now, they want us to have that very system. I argue that if we adopt a “Vote by Mail” system, we will never again have an uncontested election or one that we can truly have confidence in.  That, I believe is part of the plan, to destroy our electoral system.  That would be followed by their insistence that we need to overhaul it and they would be in control of that overhaul.  If you don’t know where that would lead, I can’t help you.

Richard Hansen, an election law expert said that the most common kind of voter fraud is via Vote by Mail ballots.  He contended that when voter fraud occurs or when voter coercion is present it tends to occur with ‘absentee ballots.’  His argument and mine are that it is much more difficult to coerce someone to vote in a certain way when they are alone in the voting booth and no one knows how they voted. 

Who is behind this push?  It is backed by George Soros and his organizations.  He is throwing money at it as if it grew on trees.  One of the top organizations behind this push is the Brennan Center of Justice, based out of the NYU School of Law.  Soros has funneled a significant amount of money to them.  The Open Society has given them grants of $7,466,000 from 2000 to 2019.  Are you surprised?

Another activist group, Stand Up For America has been making over 19,000 calls per day to promote this plan.  The ACLU is involved and has received $50 million from Soros.  Other progressive groups are actively pursuing this plan including the National Association of Non-Partisan Reformers (non-partisan they are not), Public Citizen, Common Cause, National Vote at Home Institute, and the Center for Secure and Modern Elections.  None of those want secure or legitimate elections, they want to gain the upper hand and sway the elections as far left as possible. 

This is one of the many plans that would destroy our Republic and we must not allow it to become a reality.  Many other disastrous proposals are being advanced by the Left as they seek to ‘not let a good crisis go to waste.’  America, we have a clear choice in November and we must do what is needed to keep our Republic.  We cannot allow the Left to gain the upper hand and forever destroy our system of government and our elections.

DO WE STILL BELIEVE IN INALIENABLE RIGHTS?


I am soberingly serious in the question, “Do We Still Believe In Inalienable Rights?”   America, do we still be in ‘inalienable’ rights for our nation and republic and ourselves?  I am convinced that most politicians do not believe that we have that level of rights.  They do not believe that we have certain ‘natural’ or ‘inalienable’ rights that come from a source higher than they.  They believe that they, the elected oligarch, who are the governors of our republic, are the ones who determine what rights the citizens have or do not have.  I disagree and so did our founders.  More importantly, so does God!

As we address this question and consider what our Inalienable Rights are it would be beneficial to remind everyone of the basic definition of “inalienable.”  It means, “incapable of being alienated, surrendered, or transferred.” If we accept that definition, we quickly realize that the pursuit to restrict certain rights is unconstitutional.  Beyond that, it is an attempt to repudiate the most basic and foundational provisions our Creator gave to all humans on the planet. 

In the etymology of language, we discover some interesting nuggets regarding this word.  I insert them not to give a lesson in linguistics but to help provide a solid foundation for the Declarations of our Founding Fathers and our Rights as Americans and as humans. 

The words, alien, alienable, and inalienable contain the Latin ‘alius’ which means ‘other’.  That is at the root of all three words.  The word alien surfaced in the 14th century, and in its earliest form meant “belonging to another.”  By the 1600s we developed the word and idea of ‘alienable’, an adjective to describe something we could give away or transfer ownership of.  Around the middle of the 17th century, the word ‘inalienable’ or ‘unalienable’ was developed.  We are most familiar with it in our Declaration of Independence.  It was used to identify rights that could never be taken away or infringed.  Do we still believe in that concept in America today? 

I hope everyone will reread the Declaration of Independence and grasp the depth of understanding and commitment embodied in the wording used.  In the second paragraph, the indispensable words about our rights are found.  “We hold these truths to be self-evident.”  That is powerfully important because it makes it clear that the truths listed need not be demonstrated or explained, they are obvious.  Well, they should be obvious to everyone. However, some on the Left and too many politicians today.  But the Founders realized, God declares, and I believe that they are etched in granite and undeniable.

What were the ‘self-evident’ truths that our Founding Fathers held?  “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”  There is more but we could spend days defining and examining those. 

Created Equal.  We are not all equal in talent.  We are not all equal in intelligence.  We are not all equal in physical structure, but we are all human beings, and in that distinction, we are equal in the right to Life, the Right to Liberty, and the right to pursue Happiness.  We have certain rights that the government has no authority to touch, yet touch them they do, and touch them they will unless.  Unless?  Unless we the people stop their infringement.

I sometimes hear the argument from politicians and activists touting ‘equality.’  Yet, those same individuals or groups want to infringe upon the untouchable rights of others to achieve their perceived level of equality.  Equality was not meant to be something the government-guaranteed or provided.  The idea of created equal was that each person on the planet has the God-given Right to pursue certain things and have been graced by God with the impregnable right to do so.  Therefore, my desire is for the government to “Get Out of the Way!  Don’t touch my rights!  Don’t impede my pursuit!  Don’t attempt to legislate what only God can do!” 

We have the God-given Right to Life.  I’m sorry if that goes against the grain for those who want abortion on demand.  It is anathema to those who desire to force everyone into a state of political correctness where we must abandon our core beliefs on certain issues.  In the ‘Right to Life’ is a right that comes from our Creator, the one who created Life.  Many facets must be protected and defended. 

I find the three ‘inalienable rights’ listed, interconnected and progressions.  The Right to Life implies the Right to Liberty and affords one the unimpeded Right to pursue Happiness.  I would contend that the word ‘happiness’ might better be rendered, ‘fulfillment.’  No one, no man and no government has the right to impede my pursuit of personal fulfillment.  If I am pursuing that fulfillment in life, through the liberty guaranteed by my Creator and not infringing upon the rights of others or endangering others NO ONE has the right to prevent me from that objective.  I wonder, how many still believe in Inalienable Rights in America?

We have the God-given Right to Liberty.  What is Liberty?  It is the quality or state of being free.  In a sense, it is the right to do as we please but that must be brought into the context of infringement upon the natural rights of others.  If we overstep that liberty, we are no longer free to do what we please. 

Liberty most assuredly includes the ‘right of choice.’ In that I mean we can choose what we become in life.   I am not talking about abortion because I believe no one has the right to choose to end the life of the innocent unborn.  Embodied in the word Liberty is Freedom and that demands that we be free from forced compliance or coercion by the government.  We are part of a society and in that willing agree to participate in the social community we established a system of government wherein are established rules we all follow. 

We have the God-given Right to Pursue Happiness.  The most basic definition of happiness is, “a state of well-being and contentment.”  Merriam-Webster suggests that embodied in it is Joy.  I believe that Joy is a deep inner experience that is far more spiritual in nature than happiness.  Joy is not dependent upon circumstances or conditions it is rooted in belief and choice.  Happiness is usually dependent on external stimuli which affect or condition, position, and attitude.  We have the right to pursue Happiness and that is why I suggest that it might be more apropos to say ‘Fulfillment’ not just a state of euphoria as is often understood in the word happiness.

If we believe in Inalienable Rights, we must take heed and note the politicians and ideologies that desire to infringe upon those rights and reject them.  We must do that as a society and politically. 

It is my view that one political party, more than all others, desires to remove ‘inalienable’ from our constitutional guarantees and impose ‘governmental’ instead.  They view our rights as coming from the government and reject the idea that we all have Rights that they are disallowed to touch.  The government that provides everything controls everything.  Please note that and reject them in November and let’s restore America to the Constitutional Republic our Founders established.

LET’S TALK ABOUT REAL ABUSE OF POWER…


I am overflowing with disgust over the diatribe, rhetoric, spin, and fallacious accusations that President Trump abused his power and the ludicrous charge that he obstructed Congress.  The current clamoring that he is killing people through ineptitude and disinterest in America and Americans is infuriating. 

I suggest that Congress has proven to be sufficiently adept at obstruction and there is no need for outside efforts to achieve that.  They frequently get in their own way.  Their continual abuse of power and authority has become increasingly apparent to anyone willing to look.  If you are a follower of toxic liberalism you probably cannot see that reality because your bias has blinded, you.

I resurrect something that is ancient history in news and politics and refer to the three-plus-year investigation and attempt to overturn the 2016 election and oust President Trump.  That is ancient history, right? 

With the current COVID-19 crisis or pandemic and the focus on that threat, who looks at old news?  I do!  I believe that there is a need to focus on what has happened politically to enable us to avoid those abuses in the future.  Need I remind anyone that we have an election coming in November and it is the most critical our nation has faced?  We will decide on America’s future and fate and that demands our rehearsing some things and moving forward to others.

When Adam Schiff and his congressional committee obtained the phone logs of their political rivals, they committed a serious ‘abuse’ of authority and power.  They crossed legal, constitutional, and moral lines that should not be easily forgiven, forgotten, or swept under the rug.  This may be business as usual in Washington, but it is not acceptable, and we need to deal with it.  We need to demand that the Department of Justice and Congress address it and take steps to ensure it does not continue or happen again.  Will that happen?  When pigs fly is probably the reality, but it is still a problem!

We must keep it on the front burner and demand investigation of the reality that the supposed whistleblower Eric Ciaramella along with Victoria Nuland received regular updates from top officials at Soros’ Open Society Foundations.  Those emails that were obtained via the Freedom of Information Act exposed the reality that those two and other Obama administration officials were kept up to date on Soros’ whereabouts and positions on Ukraine and other issues.  Imagine that.  Why were Soros’ location and position important?  He is possibly the neck that turned the head of the former administration and many Democrats in Washington today. 

If you investigate James Clapper, the former Director of National Intelligence and the Ukrainian oligarch Victor Pinchuk, and the Chief Technological Officer of CloudStrike you discover their connections to Ukraine and Burisma Holdings. Remember them?  That is the entity that Hunter Biden got his sweetheart deal with for being the son of Vice President Joe Biden.  They are all involved in the Atlantic Council which is a super liberal think-tank that receives much of its funding from Burisma Holdings.  Wow!  The dots connect so easily and yet nobody in Washington seems to care. 

The DNC contractor Alexandra Chalupa, who worked tirelessly to dig up dirt on Trump and his then-campaign manager Paul Manafort, visited the Obama White House 27 times.  Soros surrogates and associates visited frequently. Those include Daria Kaleniuk the co-founder of the Soros-funded Anticorruption Action Center in Ukraine.  Gina Lentine was the Eurasia program coordinator of the Soros funded Open Society Foundations.  There is an extensive list of people with Soros connections who visited and knew each other.  Yet, the Democrats tell us it is all coincidence and no connections to Soros, Obama, the DNC, or Hillary Clinton.  Therefore, there could be no conspiracy or coup because it was all coincidence.  Yeah, and I see pigs flying over the unicorns in my backyard.

If you have been paying attention you know that there was a concerted effort by the Obama administration to subvert our constitution and award the Deep State Total Control.  When the 2016 election rolled around, they knew that having Hillary in the White House was their only hope of advancing their agenda.  Contrary to the opinion of many, they feared Trump.  I can say that because of the extensiveness of their efforts to stop and destroy him.  Had they thought, as was reported by the media, that he had no chance they would not have bothered and gone to the lengths they did. 

The FBI was involved in the abuse of power and has become something quite other than what they are intended to be.  They have become a political weapon of the Left and that must end.  Cato Institute Research fellow Patrick Eddington filed several Freedom of Information Act requests to find out if the FBI ever conducted surveillance of several organizations dealing with government. 

Those requests received what is called the “Glomar response.”  That is where an agency says it can “neither confirm nor deny” involvement in a particular activity.  Nice, right?  Their response indicates that those organizations may have been spied upon and could still be spied upon.  That response is unacceptable, to me and should be to everyone. 

The FBI has a long history of targeting and spying on Americans whose political views and activities posed a threat to the FBI’s power and influence with politicians.  In the 1930s and 1940s, the FBI spied on supporters of the America First movement including several members of Congress. This is not new but needs to end and people like Mueller, Comey, McCabe, and others need to be brought to justice and forced to take responsibility for their abuses and be held legally accountable.

Ignored in the IG’s Report was the reality that the FBI and DOJ likely asked Putin’s buddy for help to get dirt on Trump.  The Report suggests that Bruce Ohr and his compatriots were willing to cut a deal with a Russian oligarch in their attempt to ‘take down’ Trump.  The IG’s Report states an overlooked or conveniently omitted statement that suggests some dangerous dirty dealings.  It says: “On December 7, 2016, Ohr convened an interagency meeting (including representatives from the FBI) regarding strategy in dealing with Russian Oligarch 1.”

A junior colleague who attended the meeting asked Ohr why the U.S. government would support trying to work with the Russian Oligarch 1.  Ohr’s response is telling, “He told her that Steele provided information that the Trump campaign had been corrupted by the Russians and that the corruption went all the way to Trump.”  They worked and continue to work to ‘get Trump’ and restore control of the government to the Left.

The Abuse of Power and Authority exists, continues, and will continue until and unless we elect the right people and see the proper appointments made that will have the courage and integrity to END IT.

WHAT LENGTH WILL THE LEFT GO TO IN THEIR POLITICAL QUEST?


I wish that was a spoof question and simply an attempt to engage in sarcastic satire, but I am serious, deadly serious.  I cannot help but wonder if the extreme fear mongering that the media has been engaging in is not exacerbating the problem and making the control of the situation more difficult.  There seems to be a concerted effort by those seeking to defeat and destroy Donald Trump to do as much damage as they can. They appear willing to destroy our system of government in the process.  They seem hell-bent on fanning the flames of fear, paranoia, and panic and create such hysteria no rational action is taken and affording them total control.  That is deeply concerning.

When I call to mind the H1N1 or Swine Flu epidemic in 2009, I remember some pertinent facts and research bears out my assertions, that the media largely downplayed it.  I wonder why this situation is different and has warranted the 24/7/365 coverage shouting the dangers.  Was it because Barack Obama was president in 2009 and the media was devoted to protecting him at all costs and Trump is president now and must be destroyed?  A little research will reveal that the Obama administration found it necessary to make a public apology for Joe Biden’s mishandling and of the situation and his comments?  Yet, now, Biden is a genius and Trump is an imbecile.  Seriously?  The words genius linked to Biden would be an oxymoron of oxymorons.

Numerous people have called our attention to the health crises over the past century and articulated how, at this juncture, those were more severe and dire than this current epidemic.  Will the COVID-19 rise to the level of disaster and destruction being afforded it or will it prove to be something less?  Time will tell.  I keep wondering what they are not telling us.

It is wise to be prudent and cautious and use reasoned rationale in a crisis. I say that providing the intent is out of a genuine desire to protect and help people.  However, if the intent is to transform the crisis into a weapon or a tool to create the ‘perfect storm’ to destroy an opponent and in this case Donald Trump and our system of government, that must be exposed and resisted.  I acknowledge that I probably am not the person with the credentials to expose it, but I am one of the ones asking questions that could lead to its exposure. 

From 1918 to today the Influenza virus has proven incredibly deadly.  Each time the CDC or other world health entities claim to have contained or controlled it, a new strain breaks out and off we go again.  Each flu season produces thousands of deaths in America and there is no shutting down of our economy and our ability to function societally.  Why not?  We were exposed to the Asian flu in 1957, the Hong Kong flu in 1968, the Swine flu in 2009 and now this.  In those outbreaks, thousands of deaths occurred and yet most of those were somewhat downplayed and we survived. 

We endured SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome), which is properly called the SARS coronavirus.  It first infected people in 2002 and within weeks spread to 37 countries through air travel.  Imagine that!  President Trump acted quickly to restrict air travel to and from China and he was called evil, racist, and other less than complimentary names for that positive action.  His actions likely helped reduce the impact on the United States and possibly the world, but he is deemed inept and evil.  That amazes me.

We faced and are still facing the HIV/AIDS epidemic that burst on the world scene in the 1980s and has infected over 60 million people with an estimated 30 million deaths.  Was everything shut down?  Did the NBA shut down when Magic Johnson was tested positive for HIV?  No, why not?  The virus is reportedly spread through blood, semen, and other bodily fluids.  In the United States, about 50,000 people are infected annually and at the end of 2009, we were told that about 1.1 million were living with HIV.  It is estimated that about 18% of those do not know they are infected and thereby infect others unwittingly.

How about the age-old disease of Malaria?  It has been around for a very long time and continues to pose a global problem.  In 2010 it was estimated that about 219 million people worldwide were infected with the disease and 660,000 died.  We have been informed by various world health organizations that about 90% of the malaria cases in the world are in Africa.  We are now told that the COVID-19 virus has spread to Africa.  In my view, that is a recipe for a global disaster of epic proportions.

Dare we omit consideration of the disease that has been around since antiquity, tuberculosis (TB)?  This disease is not entirely under control and still a problem in many parts of the world.  The root cause of this disease is the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis and it is second only to HIV/AIDS as the greatest killer worldwide due to a single infectious agent.  The good news is that over the past couple of decades the death rate for TB has been cut almost in half.  In 2012 we learned that about 8.6 million people were infected and about 1.3 million died. 

I say all that to say this, the hypocrisy of the Left and the media over the coronavirus stinks to the high heavens.  I am not saying the disease is not real bu the claims that President Trump has not taken this situation seriously is disgusting. It is easily debunked on virtually every level and in every case, yet the spin continues. 

President Trump assembled a very notable task force, exactly what Joe Biden said he would do.  The Left and the media have thrown decorum and sanity out the window and seized upon this situation to damage, if not destroy Trump.  Some of them have gleefully hoped Trump and his supporters would be infected and that the economy would tank plunging to disastrous lows.  What an economic collapse does and would do to all Americans seems to be of no concern, defeating Trump is their prime objective.

Ayn Rand said it powerfully, “The hardest thing to explain is the glaringly evident which everybody has decided not to see.”  The Left and Never Trump contingent have decided not to see what the president has and is doing positively.  A quote from Thomas Sowell is apropos, “The welfare state is not really about the welfare of the masses.  It is about the egos of the elites.”  That is incredibly accurate in describing today’s situation.  We would do well to remember another Ayn Rand quote in her definition.  She said, “Freedom (n): To ask nothing. To expect nothing. To depend on nothing.”  We need to think!

The Bernie Sanders bunch and virtually every Democratic hopeful running for president or any elected position cause me concern.  They seem to desire that everyone embrace identity politics, abandon core values and principles, and surrender to the Deep State and Big Government.  I remember Obama’s words to business leaders, “You didn’t build that.”  He was attempting to take credit for their success. If they didn’t build it who did?  It wasn’t the government.  It was created through creativity and ingenuity. It was created through hard work, and the willingness to risk and achieve.

How far will the Left go in their quest to destroy President Trump and take over America?  How far will they go in their desire to transform our Republic into something other than the Constitutional Republic our Founding Fathers gave us?  I believe there is no limit to their commitment to the destruction of our way of life and our republic.  If you can live with that, blindly or willingly ignore reality, then we will all pay a severe price.  I cannot and will not do that quietly, willingly, or complacently.

I stand with President Trump and stand with America as I stand for Faith, Family, and Freedom.  I hope you will too, and that millions will flood the polls in November and not only reelect him but reclaim the House and provide a filibuster-proof Senate for him to work with.  Yes, that may be a dream, but it is my dream!

WE MUST NOT LOSE FOCUS…


I, like most Americans, have called for the politicians to lay aside their partisan wrangling in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.  I, like most Americans, am troubled by the attempts of the government to create a ‘relief package’ that is laden with political crony pork.  I, like most Americans, have been deeply concerned about the virtual if not literal shut-down of our nation, our economy, and way of life. 

I do not know if we will ever know the full details of this virus and the see the statistical data needed to determine fully how deadly and threatening this epidemic has been and will be.  I don’t know if some of the liberties and freedoms we willingly ceded to the government will ever be restored.  I don’t know how long it will take our nation to dig from beneath the rubble and see our economy and way of life restored.  I do not know if that will ever become a reality in totality.  I am a mortal who can only see what I see and evaluate what I am able to hear, read, uncover, and investigate.  I am not Omniscient, so there will always be much that I do not know. 

Yet, it seems that the Left has never ceased their partisan pursuits.  It seems the media has not ceased trying to find something to cause America to fear and distrust the president.  It seems that the activists have been working non-stop and diligently to either disrupt, reshape, or bring such confusion to the coming elections that we can have no hope of a legitimate and fair election in November.  It seems? No, that is exactly what they have done!

The idea of online voting, voting by mail, and the other proposals to change our way of voting is designed to avoid ‘in-person’ voting. That is of great concern to me.  The opportunity for ‘voter fraud’ soars through the roof in each of those practices and that seems to be the desire of the Left.  We are being told by the Democratic leaders that due to this pandemic we cannot afford to vote in the normal way, with the normal safeguards against voter fraud.  They have deemed that we will still be under the blight of this pandemic in the Fall and therefore for human safety, we must suspend our normal process and embrace their plan for ‘virtual voting.’ 

If Congress allows this to transpire and funds this invitation to invalidate the election through voter fraud, they will have answered many of our questions.  If this happens, the Democrats will win the White House.  If this happens the Democrats will keep the House of Representatives and reclaim the Senate.  If this happens the Supreme Court will increase to 15 members, the majority of which will be liberal activist jurists.  If this happens the economy will be further destroyed, universal healthcare will be a reality, and our 1st, 2nd, and 14th amendments will be prime targets.  If this happens religious gatherings of the Christian faith or Judaism will face extreme scrutiny and regulation. 

Immediately some on both sides of the aisle, muttered, “A Conspiracy Kook.”  I will likely be trashed, attacked, vilified, and disregarded. I have been and have been threatened with bodily harm for my views.  However, I ask, is what I am suggesting beyond the scope of possibility? 

Do you not see how the Left has continued their assault on this president and thereby ignoring the needs of America?  Do you not see how the new Impeachment attempt because of the pandemic is not evidence of their desire to assume total control?  Do you not see how their inclusion of ridiculous pork in the ‘relief bills’ is destructive and non-beneficial for the fight against the pandemic and does not ease the fiscal pain?  If you cannot see their incessant pursuit of power, you are not watching what is happening.

Of course, I am aware that both sides of the aisle have kinks in their armor.  I fully acknowledge that some of the Republicans are far from pristine in their intent and objective.  I want to see partisan politics shelved in a time of crisis and America put first on the legislative burner.  Yet, I realize that if we do not pay attention and continue to discuss the matters of government, we will fall prey to the devious political opportunist and never fully recover constitutionally.  None of us should want that or be willing to allow that to transpire. 

The Department of Justice must not abandon the needed investigations into crime and corruption.  The Department of Defense must not abandon its constitutionally mandated responsibility of “Keeping America Safe.”  The various intelligence-gathering agencies must not abandon their watch for terrorism and alert the rightful authorities and departments of all threats.  We have virtually shut down our country to protect us against an invisible enemy and may be in danger of making the cure more damaging than the disease.

I realize that if a person is dead the economy or politics are meaningless to them.  However, what happens if a person does not die and most will not?  What happens if there is no life to return to although they are alive?  What is the long-term damage to the psyche, families, homes, businesses, and churches? 

It is my view, after weeks of intense prayer, consideration of what I see and the pain I am observing, that if we do not stay focused, we will witness a transformation in America that is quite ugly, dangerous, and destructive.  We will come through this crisis of an invisible enemy.  The only question is, “What will we look like and be after we do?”  Someone said, “I hope the light at the end of the tunnel is not a train.”  They were concerned with what the nefarious elements of government and the powers behind the scene have been and are doing.

America, my heart breaks for everyone who has lost a loved one, been infected by this virus, lost a job, a home, a family, or hope.  I am over 70 years of age, on a fixed income and retired. Therefore, I have been able to stay home without suffering significant financial trauma.  It has affected us but not like it has for millions.  Some insist that my concerns are unfounded and unwarranted.  I am called many names.  That is not my concern.  My concern is America and the American people. 

I have wondered if we had responded as did South Korea would we have fared better?  The one thing I know is no matter what happens we must keep our confidence in God and rely on our faith.  We must not allow fear and panic to grip us and render us incapable of living this wonderful life we have been granted.  Likewise, we must not lose sight of the prize and remain vigilant, focused, involved, and pursue truth, righteousness, peace, and freedom.

HAVE THEY LOST THEIR MINDS?


I cannot help but wonder if those following the toxic band of liberal thought largely in the Democratic Party have lost their minds completely.  You may say, “Roy, they lost their minds years ago.”  In many ways, I would agree but the recent actions, antics, and words coming from the camps embodying that political establishment is beyond the pale.  It makes me wonder, what their real strategy is if they have one.  It makes me wonder and ask, “Are they that desperate?”  I also ask, “Do they truly think the America people are in a mental coma and unable to decipher the tea leaves?” 

As to their strategy, I truly think that it is, attack, attack, attack and hope the can throw enough things against the wall something sticks or run enough things up the flagpole that somebody will salute.  That being said, they are dangerous and not a group to be dismissed.  There are millions and that is MILLIONS both legal and illegal who will vote for them and do vote for them.  That raises numerous other questions that I will leave unasked and unanswered at this juncture.

Back to the original question, “Have they lost their minds?”  The simple answer is Yes.  The more detailed and comprehensive answer is, ‘they are crazy like a fox.’  I believe that they believe there is a method to their madness and history has indicated their band of politicization has worked, so why not do it again and step it up a notch? 

In nature, a wounded animal is incredibly dangerous, and I believe the Democratic Party is a wounded political animal.  They are, in my view, terrified of the potential outcome of this election.  They are mortified that Trump will win a second term.  They are terrified that they will lose the House of Representatives.  They appear to view their hopes of reclaiming the Senate as doubtful and that further exacerbates them and causes them to go full-bore into the attack mode.

They tried the Establishment Candidate, who hoped to be perceived as a moderate in 2016 and virtually all the political pundits and politicians believed she was a lock to win.  They failed miserably because they encountered a political animal they had never encountered in a Republican suit.  Donald Trump did not play by the age-old anticipated and expected rules for Republicans.  He fought back and was combative to their combativeness.  When they pushed him, he pushed back!  When they hit him, he hit them harder and with more blows.  That was a foreign situation to them and when they lost, they manifested the various stages of grief which began with denial. 

How could Trump beat their anointed candidate?  He was not of their tribe and not a politician, therefore he was an interloper. Added to that mix was their view of us, a basket of deplorable souls they deemed ungrateful for the token pat on the head they were accustomed to offering.  They incorporated in their denial of reality the fictitious theory that it must have been outside interference, namely Russian collusion with Trump and his associates, duping the public and stealing the election.  We have spent three-plus years on that rock turning crusade, which produced only a few cursory process crimes, but nothing on Trump.  Still, they proceeded, moving from one level of derangement to the next descending deeper into the cesspool of political dirty tricks.

They stole the nomination from the angry old white male who was an avowed Socialist in 2016 and have done the same in 2020.  How that plays out with the Bernie tribe is yet to be seen, but I suspect it will deepen the divide in the party and might prove to be their Achilles heel.  It may not, those following the mind-numbing toxicity of the modern liberal agenda may go to the polls in droves and vote for Biden or whomever the Establishment offers.  I don’t know who their Manchurian candidate will be, but Biden fits that description perfectly.  He is senile and controllable, regarding policy, although no one can control his gaffes and loose lips.

There has never been such a massive, unified, concerted effort to take down a sitting president as we have witnessed in Trump’s first term.  The Main-Stream Media has flooded the airwaves 24/7/365 with their allegations, innuendoes, and leaked information hoping to turn the Trump base against him.  They have failed and that has not only puzzled them, but it has also infuriated them and resulted in our being branded imbeciles needing constant supervision.  They consider us too dumb to walk and chew gum at the same time. 

I am still laughing at the faux intelligence of MSNBC’s Brian Williams and Mara Gay of the New York Times demonstrating the massive brainpower of the Left.  Yes, it is ancient news, but part of what I’m talking about and the continual advancing of idiocy by the Left. 

Williams referred to a tweet that said, the $500 million Bloomberg spend of his own money in the failed campaign could have been used to give every American $1 million.  He showed his ignorance and lack of math acumen by compounding the idiocy saying, “When I saw this on social media tonight, it kind of all became clear.” He said, “Don’t tell us if you’re ahead of us on the math here.”  

Too bad, somebody on his staff wasn’t ahead of him.  Gay said, “It’s true, it’s disturbing.”  Hey, geniuses, “I wasn’t a math major in college and don’t play one on TV, but I do believe that Bloomberg’s campaign expenditure would have given every American about $1.50 not $1 million each.  He would have had to spend $330 Trillion to have given each American $1 Million.”  

Senator Chuck Schumer’s threat directed toward Supreme Court Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch was a sign of the reactions of a wounded animal and a total loss of control.  Wait, maybe it wasn’t, maybe it was a sign that the Democratic leadership truly believes that the Constitution is meaningless, the rule of law does not apply to them, and we are too impotent and incapable of taking them to task.  Maybe that is part of their strategy.  They have long been proponents of intimidation and threats and the Republicans have historically cowered in the shadows hiding from them in fear.  Hopefully, that has changed.  It has with President Trump and hopefully the Republicans in Congress and the Constitutionalist on the Courts will stand firm and say, “Not just not, but **** no!”

I truly believe that Joe Biden, their apparent designee is suffering from some serious brain issues and cognitive ability.  I truly believe that Bernie is suffering from delusion, hate, and may have more serious health concerns than are being admitted.  The Democrats who have openly hoped for our economy to be destroyed, the deadly spread of the Coronavirus into Trump rallies and the treachery toward our Constitution make me angry and give me some trepidation.  If they were to somehow win the White House, keep the House of Representatives, and retake the Senate, move over, the proverbial fat lady will be exiting the stage having already sung her final number.  IT WILL BE OVER!

Bill Clinton was astute at ‘wag the dog’ and the Democrats have been engaged in that for over three years now.  What will America do in November?  I am cautiously optimistic that we will see massive numbers turn out to vote against the lunacy of the left.  I am cautiously optimistic that millions will awaken and say, NO to the lunacy of the left.  I am cautiously optimistic that those on the Conservative, Constitutional, and Republican Side of the spectrum will become and stay engaged and VOTE!  No, not like those on the Left, ‘early and often’ but VOTE!

THE COMING GLOBAL TYRANNY…


No, I am not a conspiracy theorist chasing every dark hidden secret lurking in the shadows.  I am a student of the Bible, history, and an interested observer of world events. I do believe that those who desire “Total Control” of not only America but also the World are pursuing an agenda and taking advantage of every opportunity to advance their agenda.  I believe that is part of the package of this pandemic, epidemic, pandemonium, and paranoia we have witnessed through the coronavirus or COVID-19.  It is troubling.  Not simply the health issues, but the dangers of the strengthening of the movement for Global Tyranny. 

I was amazed at how easily our world was ‘shut down’ by this virus that originated in Wuhan, China, the COVID-19 as it is called.  Economies have been decimated, freedoms restricted, travel limited, access to goods and services dramatically curtailed, and life was no longer normal.  Entire nations went on virtual if not literal ‘lockdown’ or ‘shelter in place’ with limited movement.  So-called non-essential businesses were destroyed being forced to cease conducting business and our robust economy in America became a shell of its former self. 

I heard something yesterday in the briefing that was possibly revealing and definitely troubling. I heard the good doctor say that she had been interested in the power of ‘behavioral change’ for a long time and was closing watching it in this situation. Another member of the briefing mentioned their close observance of ‘behavioral change.’ If that is part of the objective, I am more troubled than ever. That is part of the PC World and Globalist agenda to achieve such ‘behavioral change’ that we become passively compliant to whatever the government demands.

Thank God, our economy was in the healthy condition it was before this pandemic or panic was given full sway.  Had we had the economic anemia as we had under Barack Obama, we would be worse off than the Great Depression and there would be rioting, looting, and chaos in America. 

Thank God we have a president willing to listen to the ‘experts’ rather than deeming himself the ‘expert’ as did our former president.  Thank God, we have a leader-listener and leader-follower who leads and allows those tasked with jobs to do them rather than leading from behind and kowtowing to the evil regimes of the world.  We could have been much worse off and would have been had Hillary Clinton been president or if Joe Biden or Bernie Sanders were now president. 

I am concerned that this is being observed as a test-run for a world economic shutdown and thereby a global takeover by the existing tyrannical forces.  I am not saying that is what the President and his team are doing, but those who want that to be a reality are watching carefully. I am concerned that we are witnessing the reality of the fictional scenario of Orwell’s “1984”.  It has been far too easy to bring the entire world to a screeching halt and that will not bode well going forward for freedom and liberty. 

When the economy is decimated to the point that people cannot or are not allowed to work it opens the door for government aide to reach the point that people cannot survive without it.  Being unable to survive without government subsistence may not be completely accurate, but it becomes the view of the majority.  When the government provides it controls.  We become subject to their edicts, requirements, regulations, restrictions, and are required to trade or Freedom for their Provision.  That is not the America our Founders envisioned or established and should be unacceptable to every lover of Freedom.

I believe that the technological revolution or evolution of our world also aides Global Tyranny to gain power.  We know, in America, the ease with which our government and federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies can gather data on citizens.  The various technological giants use our smartphones, computers, automobiles, etc. to amass mountains of data on each of us. 

Our healthcare professionals, credit card companies, and many other entities also amass enormous amounts of personal data.  I have long been concerned with the questions asked at my doctor’s office, that have nothing to do with my health.  That data is available to the government and lends itself to being used against us.  That was the case in Germany with Hitler’s rise to power and has been used in various forms in the rise of despots and tyrants in modern history. 

Many of us shop using Amazon, research through Google, use Facebook, Twitter, etc.  All amass mountains of information about us.  They know our likes and dislikes regarding products, politics, movies, foods, fashion, etc.  Those databases are expanding almost daily, and the Globalists are not oblivious to that reality.  It is a goldmine they either not have accessed or will seek to do so in the future.  That is troubling and suggests that Global Tyranny is virtually inevitable. 

There has been the theory advanced recently that can be coupled with the long-standing desire to move our world to a cashless society.  The theory is that money is dirty, not dirty in the sense of being obtained illegally, but it is dirty as in being an agent to spread disease.  The theory is that the governments of the world, including the United States, will seek to ‘outlaw’ money.  This most recent pandemic, epidemic, or pandemonium gives that theory a strong footing.  People are terrified and any steps that would make us safer are deemed worth the cost.  I am not suggesting that this is coming soon, but I do believe the Globalists want a cashless society because it allows them to control money and thereby people more easily.

If money is outlawed it is ‘game over’ for Freedom and Liberty.  Cash or mediums of barter have long been the vehicle through which we can avoid the government’s total control of our lives.  In Hitler’s reign of terror on the Jews, those with ‘cash’ and the help of God could buy their way out of Nazi clutches from time to time.  Those with no cash were doomed. 

Imagine a world where every purchase required a digital signature.  That would mean every purchase you make would be tracked and your location would be immediately available to those in power.  Yes, that is Orwellian but a very real possibility in our technological world and with the nefarious minds at work among the Globalist.

The Bible refers to the ‘Mark of the Beast’ as a means whereby the anti-Christ could control people’s lives.  Anyone refusing to take the ‘mark’ or in this case, submit to the digital method would find themselves without food and the other necessities of life.  That would mean comply or die!  You either march to their drummer or you go bankrupt, destitute, and literally, starve to death or become a roving marauder stealing to survive.

I truly believe that the only antidote to this impending Global Tyranny is God and Prayer.  I believe that one of the reasons Christianity, the Bible, and Freedom of Speech has come under such an attack often being labeled ‘hate speech’ is for this very reason, the advancement of Global Tyranny.  No, many that are being useful idiots of that agenda do not know that is what they are doing, but it is part of the package.

We can survive.  However, in the end, there will be a Global Tyranny for a time. There will be an anti-Christ rise to power.  There will be carnage and destruction.  There will come a time when many believers if not most followers of Christianity will be sent into the shadows to conduct their business covertly and out of sight of the prying eyes of Big Brother. 

In the End, we win if we have God as our foundation.  But that does not resolve the issue for many today, because everyone does not ascribe to the Faith I ascribe.  How do we fight this in America today?  At the Polls!  We find and elect politicians who will not sell their souls or have not sold their souls to the Globalist agenda. 

America, we are fighting for Freedom and to remain Free we must be vigilant and engaged.  I ask that you join me in the Fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom!  We must win in 2020 and resoundingly defeat the Globalist, Leftists, Liberals, Progressives who are entrenched in the Democratic Party.

THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE THAN A FEW SLAPS ON THE WRIST…


I’m deviating away from the pandemic and focusing on something else that needs to be addressed. What has been happening in Washington demands more than a few slaps on the wrists, meaningless censuring, and warnings from various agencies.  What we need is definitive and legal action taken to prevent this kind of abuse from transpiring in the future. 

What am I talking about?  I am not talking about the claimed ‘abuse of power’ by President Trump, which is fictional from a constitutional basis.  I am talking about the ‘abuse of power’ by the Democratic members of Congress who have grossly overreached their authority.  I am talking about the Democratic establishment, in power in the House of Representatives, violation of numerous federal statutes and turning the House of Representatives into their personal political weapon.

One of the recent developments that brings this back to the table was the letter the FCC Commissioner sent to Adam Schiff and his committee over their violations of federal law or abuse of their power.   FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr called to attention the secretive subpoenas used by Schiff and the Democrats regarding private phone calls.  He tweeted: “Chairman Schiff has been collecting Americans’ private call records through a secret and partisan process, he even published some of them in the Impeachment Report. These sensitive records are protected by federal law. His conduct raises serious concerns, and I’ve asked for answers.”

In his letter, he said: “I am writing to you because your committee has collected — and may still be collecting — the protected and confidential call records of private citizens and government officials alike through a secret and partisan process that deprives Americans of their legal right to maintain the privacy of this sensitive information.”  He cited the fact that federal law is supposed to protect the privacy and confidentiality of American citizen’s phone call records.  He made note that included the protection of disclosure of the numbers dialed, dates, and times, as well as the duration of the calls. 

In the Democrats Impeachment Report, 658 pages in length, there were the listing of calls made by Rudy Giuliani, John Bolton, Representative Devin Nunes, Lev Parnas, Sean Hannity, and Kash Patel, among others.  The list was quite extensive.  Mr. Carr also said:  “The process the committee used (and may still be using) to obtain and then publicly release these previously confidential call records raises a number of serious questions — including whether Americans are comfortable with one political party in Congress having the power to secretly obtain and expose the call records of any private citizen, journalist, or government official.”  The Democrats amassed at least 3,719 pages of records and caused the FCC to cite Section 222 of the Communications Act that prohibits the kind of action Schiff and his committee took.

Nancy Pelosi, Nadler, and others have overreached their Congressional authority accusing the President of what they are and were doing.  That demands more than a cursory meaningless slap on the wrist.  The Constitution is clear on the separation of powers and the Democrats under Schiff’s guidance have violated numerous statutes that demand Congressional and DOJ action.  Will that happen?  I seriously doubt it, but if we are going to prevent this kind of abuse from either party is a must.  The Republicans doing the same thing at a later date will not prevent this from happening again.  It must be stopped and the only way to effectively stop it is legal action by Congress and the DOJ.

U.S. Attorney John Durham is expected to conclude his investigation into the origins of the Russia probe by the end of summer.  There are rumors that the investigation will lead to criminal charges being brought against some of the players.  Will that transpire? I wish I could answer in the affirmative, but history suggests nothing much will happen.  Unfortunately, the Deep State, Ole Boys, and political animals in Washington tend to protect each other.  The only reason for that seems to be dirt on the hands of all of them.  That is not good for America, our system of government, or the American people.  We need change!

We have been told that it will not be like the Mueller investigation with a report following.  We are told that if Durham finds adequate evidence to charge someone, he will do it without fanfare.  Durham’s reach was expanded by the DOJ into the intelligence community and gave him the power to seat ‘grand juries’ or ‘anything else’ he needed to complete his investigation.  I only hope that he is thorough enough and digs deep enough to uncover the corruption and make it visible to America. 

We had the Mitt Romney opposition to digging more deeply into Hunter Biden and then the Romney retreat from that position.  Now, Senator Ron Johnson (R. Wis), the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee has announced that he plans to subpoena a consulting firm with ties to Hunter Biden and Burisma Holdings to determine if the firm sought to use Hunter Biden to “influence” American policy.  The smell keeps emanating from the woodpile over Hunter’s $83,000 per month salary while his father oversaw America’s Ukrainian policy.  Nothing to see here, right?  Yeah, and pigs are flying over the unicorns in my back yard.

We have watched the abuses and violations of James Comey, John Brennan, James Clapper, and Hillary Clinton and nothing has happened.  We have watched the evidentiary evidence point to high-level Obama administration officials and possibly Obama himself, but nothing has happened.  Should we be hopeful that something substantial will come from all this?  Only if Trump wins in November, the Republicans reclaim the House and keep the Senate.  However, I suggest that even then, it is questionable whether Congress will act and bring the full weight of the law and constitution to bear on the guilty. 

I am watching and hoping for the corruption to be uncovered and something more than wrist slaps transpires.  That is another reason that I will be voting NO on the Democrats and YES for Trump in November.  I want my country back and pray that it is not too far gone to recover.

ARE YOU NON-ESSENTIAL?


In my mind, that is a serious and probing question, “Are we essential?”  The next thought is, “If we are not essential, are we expendable?”  You guessed it, I am standing on the brink of what might or might not be lurking in the shadows of all that is happening.   No, I am not saying, this is a man-made, man-released, evil designed to destroy humanity or plunge us into such chaos that we become willing pawns of some World Power.  It could be, but I am not saying that and what I have seen on the virus suggest it is not an act of bio-terrorism. 

Are there sinister forces at work in this pandemic, crisis, epidemic, or pandemonium?  Absolutely!   That is true in every crisis that any part of the world encounters.  The nefarious will always seek to take advantage of any crisis and never let it go to waste. 

This virus that originated in Wuhan, China, the coronavirus or COVID-19 is wreaking havoc in the world.  It is been astounding to watch the speed and willingness of virtually every country in the world to ‘shut down’ or as it is being called ‘shelter-in-place’.  It is amazing at how many jobs and businesses are being deemed ‘non-essential.’  

Out of the destruction of the economy, the relabeling jobs and businesses as non-essential came the sentiment on both sides of the political aisle and in much of the public that the government had to respond financially.  That may or may not prove to be a wise move, but it is a move that stems from the extreme actions that have been taken.  Please understand, I am not saying those actions were definitively right or wrong, I am just observing and pondering what has happened and what it means in the immediate as well as the long-term.  Bear with me as I continue to ponder out loud.

People are dying every day from this virus.  The early estimates were that 1-2 million Americans would die and that has been revised downward to 100,000-200,000 thousand.  That is horrific, but not the millions suggested and even hoped for by some of the most nefarious.  How anyone could hope that another human would contract this or any disease and succumb to it in death, is an evil that I cannot understand.  I understand it only in the light of the hate and that is another reason that I hate the hate that is prevalent in today’s America and world.  Jackie DeShannon’s song is apropos – ‘What The World Needs Now Is Love, Sweet Love.’

As in every crisis that affects the economy, some fare quite well and others who are destroyed.  This is no different, and although the Democrats and a few others are changing that we must ensure that “not one life is lost to sustain corporate greed.”  That sounds good but is an argument designed to separate rather than unite people.  Yes, those at the top of the corporate world and those who earn salaries at their level are faring well and will not be greatly damaged financially.  Those who are hourly wage earners are the ones who are being devastated.  No, we should not lose lives to sustain the greed of anyone.  But, is that what is happening?  Are we sacrificing lives to sustain corporations and the rich? 

The politicizing of this was immediately apparent in the edicts that ‘social distancing’ was vital.  Some state governors took advantage of the ‘non-essential’ businesses and/or jobs position to attack some businesses such as ‘gun manufacturers’ or ‘gun stores.’  Those same governors deemed ‘liquor stores’ essential, but churches ‘non-essential.’  They deemed abortion mills essential but other businesses and services non-essential.  That has caused me to ask people, “Are you essential?”  Of course, most would say, “Absolutely.”  But is that how many in government view us?  If we are not essential and our jobs, businesses, or persons are not essential then are we also expendable?

When the mayor of New York City publicly suggests that due to the pandemic and as a preventative for future safety, advances the idea of the permanent closure of churches and synagogues that is deeply troubling.  What about the American Constitution?  When did it become invalid?  He did not threaten the same for mosques, and I must ask, why not?

I can understand a temporary effort to restrict the spread of this or any health threat to the citizenry but ‘permanently close’ is beyond the pale.  I believe that churches and church leaders should work with the officials as much as is possible, but when their very existence is threatened by a politician, that makes me question, “Do they deem us non-essential and therefore expendable?”  That’s the point I am pondering in this situation. 

We have over $23 Trillion in secured national debt and now have added a $2 Trillion stimulus or relief package to address the nation’s economic woes as a result of the shutdowns that have transpired and are ongoing.  There is talk of another round of federal money coming in the weeks ahead, to mitigate the damage of this crisis economically.  How far do we go, and how long can we go, before we are in breadlines and living in tent cities or homes with no electricity, water, or sanitary services? 

Would those who consider much of America ‘non-essential’ deem it beneficial for the greater good for those of us on the sunset end of life to be expended?  Yes, that can be called a conspiracy theory.  However, we know that there are those among the so-called movers and shakers of the world along with the United Nations that have suggested that very thing.  They have argued and argue that the population of the planet must be reduced for the survival of the planet.  But who decides who is and who is not ‘essential?’

If you have been employed in a job that has been deemed ‘non-essential’ and your finances are in shambles, you could rightly feel you are considered expendable.  The essential and non-essential classifications are incredibly confusing because the essential businesses often need the services and supplies of some of the non-essential ones.  Those in the food-service industry working as waitresses and waiters are being destroyed. Those in cosmetology are tossed aside.  Many pastors and churches that are desperately needed to help people cope and survive are on literal lock-down. 

We need to be prudent, and take the short-term needed actions to help mitigate the spread of this virus and limit its damage, but for how long?  There are those suggesting that this will turn out to be less damaging and deadly than our annual flu season in the loss of lives and the numbers infected.  Being proactive is a good thing.  Being prudent and wise is needed.  Being paranoid and allow panic to strip us of life and our freedom needed to have what was won in the Revolutionary War is not a good thing.

 America, I am troubled like most everyone else.  I and my wife are of the age and health situation that makes us members of the ‘high risk’ group.  We are cautious and possibly overly so.  Dare we as Americans, allow our fear of this virus to empower the nefarious who want Total Control to gain a foothold that can never be reversed? 

Are we non-essential?  God says, No!  I say, No!  Let’s be safe and be patient, but at the same time, carefully guard against the total loss of our liberties and freedoms.  You may consider my rant unworthy of consideration but the question in my heart is, “Who decides essential and non-essential?”

OUR REACTION TO CRISIS and THE EYES WATCHING US…


I am cautious about conspiracy theories and hope what I am going to say is not deemed another of the myriad of theories advanced that is unworthy of a second thought.  In any national or international crisis, how various nations respond should be of particular interest to everyone. 

The view and philosophy vocalized by former President Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel is held by many nations of the world and most of our enemies.  He said, “You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”  The nefarious and diabolical of the world’s nations will never let a crisis go to waste and they are always watching for the opportunity to gain the upper hand.  We do it as well.  That is the nature of the world we live in.

In the COVID-19 or coronavirus pandemic that came out of China and has affected the entire world is a case in particular.  I am concerned with the willingness to use a crisis to gain a political or economic advantage.  COVID-10 (scientifically known as SARS CoV-1) began in China.  Some have suggested that had it began in Singapore or Taiwan and killed millions globally there would not be a peep from the media.  It is a killer, but so are the flu, the common cold and a mountain of other diseases.  The reason for the panic and paranoia stems from multiple roots but something that cannot be overlooked is the desire to use it to gain the upper hand.

Amid this global panic, China is profiting massively buying up stocks in a crashing market, and medicine.  Someone suggested that China, although they may not have intentionally unleashed this killer, are using it and creating pandemonium for their advantage. The latter I can believe and do believe. 

In America and other parts of the world, we tend to fill nursing homes with elderly people many having serious underlying health issues.  We take care of them, not by nurses and doctors but orderlies rather than providers who are highly trained in the field of medical methodology.  If one of those staffers develops a cold, it can and often does spread like a wildfire through the facility and some of the elderly do not survive.  Medicine is not always uniformly and adequately provided and only the strong survive.  Imagine what it would be like if we did not have the medicine we now have.  We would see millions die annually from the cold and flu every year and it would be far worse than it is now.

That brings me to the point of China. A vast majority (95%) of our antibiotics are produced in China along with a myriad of other American products.  Some of the components of our weapons systems are produced in China. How is that a good idea? We are in their clutches economically. Thankfully President Trump understood this and businesses in America will hopefully react or and take steps to shift our dependency from China to American productivity where it should have always been.  Just because it can be produced cheaper in China with forced labor does not mean it is in the best interest of America.

I am concerned that our reaction to this crisis, pandemic, and pandemonium is being watched closely by our enemies around the globe.  The fact that our economy and our society have been virtually shut down by this virus is not something our enemies will overlook.  That could and likely will pose a serious threat to us in the future.  Bioterrorism has been a concern for a long time and something too many never take seriously enough. 

I consider it a potentially frightening thing that our entire nation could be shut down with such ease.  I have long believed and those in the know, affirm that an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) could cripple every aspect of our nation and leave us largely defenseless against attack.  Hopefully, our military has prepared for that scenario, but most Americans would be without water, power, food, transportation, medicine, etc. in short order.  The chaos that would ensue would be of such epic proportions we would be forced into martial law and even then, the chaos would rip us to shreds as a nation.

I see this kind of biological event also being considered a potential weapon by our enemies.  We have documented evidence that some of the terrorists have long sought to acquire such a weapon and expressed a desire and willingness to use it against us.  They are watching this and possibly consider it a ‘test run’ to determine how effective it could be and how best to unleash it on us.  Yes, that is a conspiratorial idea but one that should not be dismissed as valueless and unachievable by our enemies.  It is a modern possibility and must be addressed, as are all the threats against our nation and people.

The speed with which America has been virtually shut down cannot be lost on our enemies and that frightens me as much if not more than the virus itself.  Again, that is not to diminish the virus and seriousness.  With the threat of bioterrorism and electromagnetic terrorism, a nuclear strike may not be our greatest danger.  Our enemies are watching to see our preparedness and our unity or disunity as a people.  The more we point the finger, blame, and refuse to work together the more vulnerable we become. 

Do I think this situation suddenly puts thoughts in the minds of our enemies?  NO!  But it is allowing them to watch in real-time our reaction and ability to handle the situation.  The infliction of pain, suffering, and death to our people is not their only objective.  They are watching our economic condition, our unification or disunification, and our resolve.

Some nations do not simply hate us because we are not of their religion or system of government. They hate us because we impede their ability to dominate the world and want to strip us from the perch of being a super-power.  Those nations are less interested in causing the deaths of millions of Americans than they are in gaining control of our economy and our government. 

If the threat of millions of Americans being infected and dying from a virus or disease can produce that, they would gleefully utilize it.  Other terrorists whose prime objective is to inflict pain, suffering, and death on America and Americans see it as a useful weapon.  Both are dangerous and we must prepare for.

There are many things that we must do as a people and a government to prepare against future situations that come without nefarious intent and those that do.  We must take steps to protect our food and water, our resources, our medicine, drugs, goods, and services as well as transportation and communications. 

I’m watching to see what Washington does and while I have been impressed with President Trump and his team, I am not impressed by much that I see otherwise.  Therefore, I will turn some of my attention to addressing these concerns with elected politicians and all who will listen.  I will not live in fear, but I will attempt to be aware and prudent as well as proactive.  I will vote for a president who has demonstrated an understanding of the dangers and is willing to make the difficult and necessary decisions to protect us.  That person, at this point, is Donald J. Trump.
