Who am I talking about?  The Democrats vying for their party’s nomination for President, that’s who.  I keep hoping that they are simply saying things trying to garner votes and have no real desire to destroy our Republic.  I keep hoping but the more I listen to them, the less I think that and that causes incredible trepidation in my heart.

If they believe and truly desire what they are suggesting, America is in deep trouble.  If we are foolish enough to allow them to reclaim the White House, keep the House of Representatives and reclaim the Senate we have lost our minds.  Yes, I said it and believe it. You may, as some on our side and the other side have insisted that the cost is no big deal. 

They believe that if the government is paying, it’s just money and all we have to do is print more to solve the problem.  That is wrong on many levels and although I have in the past and will again try to summarize the terribleness of that view, it won’t resonate with those who believe it.

It is estimated by some reasonably reliable sources that combined, all the proposals of the Democratic hopefuls would cost approximately $210 Trillion dollars.  Our federal tax revenue is approximately $3.1 Trillion.  That means that our annual revenue from taxes is less than 2% of the money needed to pay for their programs.  Imagine that! 

In 2018 the total wealth of Americans was estimated at $100 Trillion.  If the government confiscated every dime in assets of all Americans, there would still be a shortage in paying for the Democrat plan.  So, please tell me they don’t mean or believe what they are saying?  Please, I’m begging for someone to offer an encouraging word of sanity.  Sadly, the more I listen to them, the more I believe they believe that it is only money and that they can tax us enough to pay the freight. 

Although the American dollar is the monetary standard of the world that does not mean that our Federal Reserve can simply print more when they want it to pay for stuff.  That approach is morally wrong.  If we make an obligation, we should feel the responsibility to pay our debts.  If I were a nation lending money to America and they did that to me I would say, “Good luck getting any help from me in the future.” 

Printing more money would cause a dramatic spike in inflation and likely to plunge us into hyperinflation and the dollar would be virtually worthless.  Think of what that would do to your 401-K or other retirement funds.  Think of what that would do to your ability to live unless your wages increased 1000-fold.

Hey, if it is only money and there is plenty to go around why stop with the proposals they are suggesting.  Why stop at healthcare, education, reparations, and the like.  If, when the government is footing the bill, it’s just money then let’s go for the whole enchilada. 

Give everyone a government gas card and when the bill comes let the government just print the money to pay the bill.  When the energy bill for our homes comes in, just print more money.  When the house note is due, just print more money.  The same with the car, the cell phone, television cable, internet service, travel, food.  Why limit what the government can and will pay for?  After all, its only money, right?  If the government is paying for it, there is no cost to anyone, right? 

But let’s press that even further, let’s totally eliminate taxes because, after all, the government can just print more money anytime and pay the bill.  The dollar would be worthless and would virtually grow on trees or off the printing press and why make anyone pay anything in taxes?  Believe me, I don’t like taxes and believe that what is happening is nothing short of legalized theft by the government, but I see the holes in that kind of thinking. 

The Utopian World of the Democrats running for President would last about 10 seconds before someone pulled the plug.  Businesses would quickly refuse to provide goods and services, employers would be forced to dramatically reduce their workforce.  Nations around the world would not simply hate us, they would seek to destroy us. 

Am I being dramatic and even overly so?  Of course, but it is to illustrate the flaws in the mentality that is prompting the proposal of the Socialistic Plans and Proposals and the idea that “it’s only money.”  If the government provides everything, they will control everything including the amount of time you are allotted on planet earth.  They would determine where you live, what you eat, what you drive if allowed to drive, where you work, and everything else in life.  Our system of elections would be eliminated, and our Republic would be nothing more than a wistful memory.  None of us want that!  None of us!

Please use that organ inside the appendage on top of your shoulders for something other than a place for your hat or hair to rest.  Think!  Reason and reject the lunacy of the left in all the Free Everything Proposals.  Not only are they unsustainable financially they are unsustainable morally, ethically, governmentally, and with regard to our Freedom and Liberty. 

Obama said, “If you like your healthcare plan you could keep it.”  That was a lie and if you like your Freedom, you can’t give it away and expect to keep it you are not being rational.  Freedom is not now, never has been, and never will be free!  It must be fought for and guarded as a precious treasure to keep.

I urge you to join me and millions more in November 2020 in rejecting this kind of lunacy and take another step toward restoring America as the Land of the Free!

I can envision the pitchforks, the boiling tar and the rail to ride me out of town on because of that statement.  It will be deemed by some that I am a White Supremacist and want to suppress other cultures and ethnicities.  I do not!  However, as a nation, multiculturalism is a destroyer and I will gladly tell you why I believe that.  It is not racism or phobia, it is a desire to see America remain the Free Constitutional Republic that we were given over 240 years ago.

The problem is evidenced in the political spectrum and stage.  Politics is all about amassing votes, winning elections, entrenching ideological views, and securing power.  It is about mobilizing votes and voters.  That’s one of the reasons today’s politicians say one thing in Des Moines, another in Atlanta, another in New York City, and another in Fort Worth.  They say whatever they deem is necessary to motivate, captivate, inspire, and endear the voters of those sectors of our nation. 

One of the most prolific flip-floppers of modern times is the Democratic presumptive favorite, Joe Biden.  If you check the record you will find that, at one time, both Bill Clinton and Barack Obama were on the record of being opposed to ‘illegal immigration.’  Even, Queen Hillary was, at one time opposed to gay marriage.  Imagine that!  But, as the mood of the electorate shifts, politicians tend to shift their stances.  They weigh the positive and negative and determine which stance gets them the most votes.  The fact that they say one thing in one place and another somewhere else is inconsequential to them, it seems because voters tend to decide based on what they heard not what is said to someone else in some other part of the country.  Why I cannot explain.

If you study history and observe the path of societies under dictatorial rule and tyranny you discover that truth is deemed to be whatever the dictator declares at any given time.  Contrast that to Republics and Democratic Societies you find that truth is deemed to be whatever the mass wants to hear at any given time.  Both have significant dangers and present significant problems.  The latter opens the door to the diabolical snake-oil salesmen politicians to nefariously tell us what they think we want to hear.  They have no real interest in fulfilling their promises but promise they do to get our vote.  Once in power, they view us as tyrants view their populace.

Some may deem the next presentation of my argument as ‘racist’ because I wish to walk through the evolution of the civil rights movement and bring things current.  I would never argue that blacks were not mistreated in America. That would be historically inaccurate and require ignoring of facts, which I try not to do.  The movement began with a legitimate desire to be afforded basic human dignity.  Any peoples deserve that regardless of ethnicity.  Once that objective was achieved they pressed for equal opportunity.  Again, I do not decry that as a wrong desire.  Any person should have equal opportunity. 

The problem in the evolution of causes is that sometimes when they obtain their basic objectives they morph into something destructive and counterproductive.  When American society, for the most part, recognized the basic human dignity and the right of equal opportunity the movement then took an Orwellian leap and demanded that equal opportunity be redefined.  The redefinition was that we would have quota systems and in that preferential treatment.  The civil rights movement that focused on blacks is not the only group that has sought preferential treatment based on ethnicity, gender, etc. 

Once, that objective was achieved, in a measure, the new push was for reparations for slavery.  Pardon me, but are there any living in America today who were slaves in America?  Yes, there are descendants of those who were slaves in generations. Those slaves suffered, but in today’s America, anyone can achieve if they set their minds to achieving regardless of ethnicity.  How can those of us who never participated in slavery be held accountable for the actions of our forefathers?  How can those who never experienced slavery be awarded reparations for damage not done to them?  The push for reparations is not a healing balm and will not cure or absolve any past wrongs it will further divide this nation.

The problem is people are incredibly tribal.  I detest the hyphenation of Americans.  That designation lends to the further dividing of our culture and nation.  The segregating of cultures based on the request of those cultures divides and makes us weaker, not stronger.  Politicians and activist have learned that grouping people into tribes is the easiest way to mobilize them and bring them to the fight or the voting booth. 

America has always been a multi-ethnic society, but we had a dominant culture that defined who we were.  Today that is being eroded to the point where no longer see ourselves as Americans but as tribes, sects, groups, or communities.  The politicians nurture that distinction and division for their purposes, not for our betterment.  In Vietnam, we quickly found that the enemy’s greatest strength was it was a homogenous culture, language, and identity.  The oft used cliché, “Our strength is our diversity,” is not totally true, and blinds us to problems inherent in multiculturalism.

If you look at nations such as Lebanon, Rwanda, Switzerland, and South Africa you quickly discover the multiculturalism usually descends into barbarianism, ethnic cleansing, and civil war.  The Swiss have different languages but have a strong unmovable identity.  They know who they are and so should we.  In South Africa, white farmers are being hunted like animals.  That is a far cry from Nelson Mandela’s idea of a Rainbow Society or multiculturalism working.

In my view, those supporting multiculturalism are those who believe it will advance their cause, not because they want everyone treated equally.  Muslims want our public schools closed on Muslim holidays and halal food served in the cafeterias.  In our political America, multicultural tribal desires are legitimate unless you are white and Christian.  Our colleges have caved to the demands of the multiculturalist and have segregated dormitories, student unions, and graduations.  Imagine whites or Christians demanding “white-only” dorms and graduations.  We would see blood in the streets.  I am not advocating whites demand that, nor do I want other cultures afforded that recognition.  We are America and supposed to be Americans!

            Wake up America, the politicians, and political elites are not pushing multiculturalism in the interest of all cultures but in the interest of power and control.  It is time that we return to insisting that everyone who legally immigrates to America become Americans.  Maintain your culture but become part of the unique American culture.  Remember your roots but become part of the solution not part of the problem.  Be part of the unification not part of the divide. 

Love me or hate me, that’s how I see it.  I love America and want everyone regardless of ethnicity or cultural heritage to be treated equally.  I want an America where we recognize that all men are created equal.  I want to maintain the recognition of our inalienable rights that include the right to “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.”

That is why I will oppose the Leftist Democrats in 2020 and all other elections I am blessed with the opportunity to cast my ballot.

Confiscation of guns, stripping us of our 2^nd Amendment and Inalienable Right to defend ourselves and ‘keep and bear arms’ or other gun law actions WILL NOT stop murder or evil!  There are many good and well-meaning people swept up in the hoopla over “just do something!”  The idea that if we could just pass one more law, or close one more loophole we could curb the violence and evil.  That has failed everywhere and is failing now.  The only thing it is doing is empowering the evil, the criminal, and the terrorist while rendering legal, law-abiding citizens of their God-given rights and ability to protect themselves, their loved ones, and their property. 

There is no truly ‘safe space’ in this world!  Evil lurks everywhere!  In the cities and countries where gun laws are the most stringent, there is still evil including murder.  At some point, it should become obvious to everyone that we have a problem and the problem cannot be solved through an academic or legislative approach.  Some will immediately reject my statements, but it is a heart problem, a moral problem far more than it is a legislative problem. 

Gun violence is not simply a Right or Left issue, but can become worsened by the rhetoric of either side.  Sadly, the attack on the Family Research Council where a domestic terrorist inspired by a leftist organization walked into that center with 100 rounds of ammunition and opened fire.  The Media wants to make all gun violence the result of actions by conservative Right-wing white males. Any honest research reveals that is not the case.  There are people of all ethnicities and political persuasions involved in acts of violence.  Again, that suggests it is a heart, head, and moral issue not a gun issue. 

When we consider the massive numbers of legally owned firearms in America and the incredibly small percentage of those used in gun violence, we should realize the issue is not a need to restrict the law-abiding from gun ownership and gun possession.  Criminals disregard the law. That’s what the word means! 

The problem and increased occurrences of gun violence scream of a problem that is far deeper than any law or political jockeying can repair.  Some argue that Donald J. Trump the President of these United States is the culprit in the increase.  That is disingenuous and dishonest, even if it is not intended to be and stems from ignorance of the truth. 

If Trump is the cause then how do we explain the mass shootings that took place in Orlando, Sandy Hook, San Bernardino, and Aurora during the Obama administration?  Was that also Trump’s fault?  If we seek to restrict the implements of destruction while ignoring the root problem we will fail.  The fact that that is the approach sought by politicians, the Media, and many citizens is revelatory and exposes the greater problem.  It defines why gun laws will never solve the problem.

Nationally, statistics reveal that 80% of gun crimes are committed using illegally obtained and unlawfully possessed guns.  Our nation’s capital has some of the most stringent gun laws in the nation and that city has a murder rate of 18 per 100,000.  Will more gun laws solve that problem?  We all know better, but some continue to argue that it is the evil violent gun that is the problem rather than honestly looking at the person behind the gun.

In the United Kingdom, a nation with incredibly strict gun ownership laws they have begun restricting the sale of knives more than 3 inches long. Why that move?  Because of a new rash of violence using a knife.  It really doesn’t matter if it is a rock, a hammer, scissors, a machete, a rope, a knife, or a gun the result is the same.  How about automobiles used in committing crimes of violence, do we ban them too? 

The Bible speaks to the problem in Matthew 15:19, where Jesus spoke of murder in the heart or hate in the heart producing murder.  We need to have a conversation about WHY not simply HOW these crimes and acts of heinousness are committed.  That discussion is impossible apart from morality and religion.  In today’s anti-faith politically charged climate that approach is taboo and regarded as without value.

Our Founding fathers recognized the importance of faith and morality in maintaining our Freedom and our Republic.  George Washington in his farewell address offered a word of wisdom for posterity.  He said, “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.”  John Adams echoed that sentiment in addressing the Massachusetts militia saying, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” 

Just over 240 years later, our nation has dispensed of the faith of our fathers and resorted to legislation and political correctness.  The failure is too obvious to miss by anyone with an honest examination of our present world and the conditions existing today.  The baser nature of man is not altered by more legislation.  The impotent promises of security through more government regulations provide no  relief and adds more frustration and dismay.

The only real solution to gun violence or the evil that is lurking in our world is not more laws that erode our freedoms.  The solution to gun violence will only be found in recognition and embracing the wisdom of our Founders, that we are human beings dependent upon and accountable to an Omniscient God.  Until we see a change in the human heart, we will not see a deescalation of violence and heinous acts of murder and mayhem.  New gun laws will never rise to the level of the Golden Rule and America will not be safer until we see a return to our moral moorings as a people. 

Love me, hate me, agree or disagree it is your choice.  I know from my own heart and life that only God can truly change the heart, mind, and character.  No amount of willpower and the threat of law will achieve that objective.  It is a heart, mind, and moral issue and if we give up our rights hoping to gain some security, we will lose both our rights and our security.

The lunacy of virtually every presidential hopeful on the Democratic Party’s side of the political ledger grows exponentially daily.  It is beyond my ability to comprehend how any rational thinking American who actually works for a living and pays taxes could support them.  I can understand how those on the government dole, those who refuse to work, are filled with greed, envy, and a sense of entitlement can embrace their plans but not working Americans.  If you pay taxes, how could you support a Party that wants to take more and more of your hard-earned income and redistribute it to those who do not work?

If you scream it is compassion and benevolence, then be compassionate and benevolent and engage in personal and private charity.  That is your right and something I would applaud, because it is something I believe in and do. However, it is not the right or the responsibility of the federal or state government to provide a living for anyone.  It is the responsibility of individuals, churches, and charitable organizations. 

There is no constitutional provision for the that endeavor to be pursued or fulfilled by the government.  Yet, today, we are told that it is our duty to provide and their right to sit on their backsides, do nothing while drawing a comfortable living from their government entitlements.  Where are the modern-day Madison’s, Jefferson’s, Franklin’s, and Washington’s?  We need some modern-day patriots with backbones to step up!

Elizabeth Warren, who is rising in the polls on the Democrat side of the political equation has offered an economic plan that even the uber leftists CNN admits will destroy our economy.  If it is that bad and that obvious, how do working and taxpaying Americans still support her or her party?  That is more than the sixty-four thousand dollar question it may be the question of the ages.

I had to laugh when she ranted about her ability to foresee our economic future and declared that there was an impending implosion coming and her plan would, like Mighty Mouse, save the day.  Yep, immediately following her dire warning of an economic crash she began calling for Free Everything.  She wants free college, a minimum wage that would destroy entire industries, more Dodd-Frank regulations imposed on banks, and a mountain of other free stuff.  Yep, Senator Warren, that would fix our economy if by fix you mean destroy beyond repair.

Apparently, Senator Warren and the other Democratic hopefuls do not consider spending the country into the abyss of financial oblivion a matter to be concerned with.  After all, it’s only money, right?  I am incensed at both Republicans and Democrats who seem to have to no willingness to curb spending, reduce the deficit, and deal with the national debt.  Senator Warren’s plan would require two-prongs of destruction that no freedom-loving American should endorse.  It would require massive tax increases and printing more money further devaluing our current monetary standing.  Nice, Senator, if you call lunacy nice and desirable.

Then we have a member of the ‘Squad’ of apocalyptic intent, Rashida Talib of Michigan who has gone beyond Bernie Sanders and other Democrats and called for a $20 per hour minimum wage.  She is not a presidential candidate but a member of the Leftists Party and she calls that a ‘fair wage.’  Seriously? 

Your economic savvy, Congresswoman, is closely aligned with that of the other liberal Democrats and especially that astute economist, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York.  Wow!  I guess she believes that losing over a million jobs by such actions would be a good thing and spur the economy and boost jobs in America.  The $15 per hour minimum wage proposed, according to the Congressional Budget Office would eliminate about 1.3 million jobs.  Congresswoman Talib’s plan would make that seem like a Sunday picnic and destroy even more.  Hey, Congresswoman and Democrats, why not make it $50 per hour and I’ll come out of retirement to flip burgers for that.

The minimum wage was never designed or intended to provide a ‘living wage’ it was a minimum and provide entry-level opportunities for people.  Putting millions out of work is not providing a living wage it is destroying any hopes of living outside the government dole.  Wait, maybe that is the plan?  Maybe the design is to entrap as many people as possible on the government dole so that they will vote properly to keep those checks coming in.  Maybe that is the real plan.  I don’t like calling people stupid or ignorant but if you buy that plan or any of the economic plans being offered by the Democrats you just might want to pick up your sign and wear it. 

On the other side of the equation, there is President Trump, the much-hated president by those on the Left and some on the Right, seeking to close the loophole that allows Illegals to be on the food-stamp roll.  His plan, if enacted could remove about 3.1 million illegals from the food-stamp program and save the taxpayers over $2.5 billion annually.  I say a hearty, Amen!  Do it, Mr. President, do it!

Some government programs, such as the food-stamp program were to be ‘temporary safety nets’ for people while they got back on their feet.  It has become a permanent government entitlement and, in the minds of some, their right.  I go back to the words of the apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, “if any would not work, neither should he eat.”  The operative words are ‘would not’. 

There are far too many willing to sit on their butts and receive a hand-out not expecting to be expected to make it a hand-up and actively seek a job.  That must end and it is time for ‘tough love’ to be applied and ‘economic sanity’ to be employed in America.  We are moving forward, God help us if we allow the Democrats to take us backward into the economic calamity of the Obama era.

I am cognizant that my position and postulations will possibly render me persona non grata with some people.  In fact, it may cause me to lose friends and diminish my influence in some circles.  Some may consider my position going too far and others may consider it not going far enough.  But, to preface all that I hope to convey, each of us can think, form opinions, and develop beliefs.  Those thoughts, opinions, and beliefs are the bedrock of our lives and shape our principles and ideological views.  In short, they make us who we are and who we are will not please everyone.  If everyone were exactly the same, some of us would be unnecessary.  I believe you are necessary and valuable whether we agree or not.

I keep hearing arguments from many sectors and segments of society insisting that our current president, Donald J. Trump must go.  There are many factors that cause them to feel that way that it would be impossible to sufficiently detail.  Some are rooted in preference, some in ideology, some in partisan politics, and some in a belief that all things political are merely cyclical and not dire.  I happen to disagree with the last view and while I do believe politics like all of life is cyclical, I do believe the condition we find ourselves in today’s America is dire. 

Some believe it is dire because Trump is the president and therefore, he must go.  I believe it is dire because of the ideological agenda of the Left and they must be defeated.  I believe that we are on the brink of political cataclysm and we are truly fighting for our survival and our Republic. 

I have never argued that President Trump is a Conservative.  He was not prior to becoming a Republican and I do not believe he is today.  However, he has advanced more conservative causes than did George W. Bush, the previous Republican president.  No, he has not advanced all the conservative and constitutional things I would personally like to see, but he is dramatically different and demonstrably more supportive of the Constitution than anyone on the Left. 

I believe President Trump is a pragmatist and a businessman.  He is and will always be a “shoot from the lip” type person who when pushed pushes back.  It may not always be with the class or the demeanor that many would prefer but we have had some incredibly colorful presidents in our history and none of them have experienced the hate, this president has endured.  He does not play by the standardized political rules largely written or unwritten by the Democrats, the Media, and Hollywood. 

But, talking about Trump’s personality, his tweeting, his verbal explosions, or anything of the sort, is not what I am addressing.  I am concerned about the future and the survival of our Constitutional Republic and Representative System of Government.  I am concerned with Free Market Capitalism vs Socialism.  I am concerned about Liberty vs Tyranny.  I am concerned with America!

I have heard the argument that it is mandatory that the Republican Party be decimated to the point it becomes extinct in order to save the Republic.  I must ask, “What is there in the Democrat Agenda and Ideology that makes you think we can survive if they win power?”  I would also ask, “How is Trump more a threat to our Constitution and Republic than the Proposed Agenda of the Democrats?” 

If the Left regains control of the government and the Republican Party becomes extinct, is there enough time to form and establish a viable Party to replace them and stop the train-wreck of the Left?  I think not, but some do.  I believe that it is a flawed philosophy to seek to wreck the Republican Party believing that the Democrats will not destroy the country.

Do we really want to trust the Democrats to use any measure of restraint in advancing their ideological agenda?  Do we want to risk the probability of them attempting to or suspending our inalienable right of self-defense and our right of freedom of speech?  Before you argue they cannot or will not do that let me offer a few thoughts and you decide.

If they regain control of the government what will prevent them from packing the Supreme Court with liberal activist jurist who disavow the principles of the Constitution?  We have already seen the Constitution shredded by liberal activist judges. 

The Obama administration ignored the law, cherry-picked the laws they would obey or disobey, and the liberal activist judges frequently backed them.  Do we truly want to risk that?  Do we want to face exorbitant taxation which they have all vowed to impose upon us?  Do we want to see our healthcare system destroyed via Medicare for All or Government-run healthcare, which they all support?  Do we want open borders, which they all support?  Do we want Socialism, which they all support in some fashion? 

I believe the risks are too great and seeing the damage of eight years of Obama and the escalation of their overt actions of destruction today, there is too much at stake to allow them to win.  We are more aware of the depth of the Swamp and the expansiveness of the Deep State than ever. Therefore, we should be very cautious!  You may detest Donald J. Trump, but I hope you love America enough to see the danger of the Leftist Agenda.  I would love to have a president that held the same Constitutional and Conservative values as I, but I haven’t seen one in my 50 years of voting. 

Therefore, I will vote to stop the Democrats because I believe the risk is too great to do otherwise!  I do not like everything this president does or how he does some things, but I do like many things he has and is doing.  The threat to our Republic is too great for me to be complicit in allowing the Democrats to regain power.  I recognize the danger and the damage they will or have promised to do.  They will expand upon Obama’s promise or threat to ‘fundamentally transform’ America.  I love America too much to run that risk.

“I hate therefore I am!”  Well, it is more than hate, their mantra and ideological position appear to be, “I hate America, want to fundamentally transform it into a third-world country, and destroy its foundation.  Therefore, I am!”  I’m sure that social media and some who are securely in bed with the Leftists mentality and some who insist that we must never call out evil will take offense. 

I have Christian friends who insist that I must refrain from calling the evil of today’s Leftist agenda evil because it is somehow not Christian to do so.  I am limitedly amused at that statement and resoundingly in disagreement.  Jesus did not sit in silence while the temple was being corrupted, he threw the violators out.  How do those modify or reinterpret Isaiah 5:20, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” 

There are countless other verses and biblical examples that could be used but I end my Bible quotations with Ezekiel 33:9, “Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.”   I learned early in life that ‘birds of a feather truly do flock together.’  I learned that evil associations corrupt the thinking and encourage abandonment of moral and ethical principles. 

The ‘Squad’ of Democrats made up of Ocasio-Cortez, Talib, Pressley, and Omar appear to be the new face of the Democrat Party in America.  They are devotedly anti-Semitic.  They are all proponents of Open Borders.  They are all Socialist or anti-Capitalist.  They are desirous of the complete dismantling of our Constitutional Republican System of Government and the imposition of something more akin to Leninism, Marxism, Socialism, Sharia Law or other forms of government.  They are all adept at playing the ‘Race Card’ and playing the victim. 

The New Mantra of the Left affords them the forum, and platform to spew forth their vitriolic hate but no one dares question or criticize them.  If you question them, you are immediately labeled a Racist.  Today’s Republicans, in Washington and those many who have a national platform, are terrified of that charge.  That’s one of the reasons so many of the Republicans were negative in President Trump’s tweets as he called them out.  Again, I am not trying to be a Trump apologist and certainly do not ascribe to the view that he can do no wrong.  He can, he does, and he will, we all do!

The problem with the mentality advanced and embraced by these women in Congress and others so vocal is the absence of appreciation for our Republic.  Many if not all of the Democrats wanting to be President believe that America was founded on evil principles, pursued evil agendas, and must be made to pay for her sins.  President Trump has demonstrated, from the beginning, that he has zero concern about receiving criticism for his positions and calling out the un-Americanism of many on the Left.  I may not like all he does or the way he says what he says, but I agree with addressing the total destruction they espouse. 

The problem with many of those seeking to come to America today, both legally and illegally is they have no intent or desire to assimilate.  They have no desire to further our system of government, they only want the economic benefits afforded in America. 

Those here illegally are sending billions of dollars home to their native countries.  That money could be aiding American families, but those jobs and wages are being diverted to Mexico, Central and South America, African countries, and many other locals.  The money is helping the economies of those nations but draining America because those here illegally are, frequently, receiving entitlements, welfare benefits, free healthcare, and much more.  We are paying for them to support their nation of birth or nationality. 

The President’s act of calling them out has somewhat rallied the Democrats into a position of defending them.  I believe that the result of that act by the Left will be that ‘The Squad’ and those of their ilk will become the policymakers of the Democratic Party going forward.  People like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Joe Biden, and other less radical Democrats of the past will be forced into retirement. 

The War on Christianity, Israel, Republican Democratic Rule, and Capitalism will escalate.  The censorship will not only increase but become the accepted norm.  The War on our 2^nd Amendment Rights, our Freedom of Speech, and the Traditional Family will become overt, not covert.  The quest for a gender-neutral society, the push for reparations, and the suppression of whites, especially white males will become rallying cries for the activist.  Our current course is a collision course with bloodshed and that I want to avoid, if possible.

President Trump has forced the Democrats back together and made the choice not simply binary but the difference between maintaining our Constitutional Freedoms and Inalienable Rights and losing them.  His action was a calculated risk and if the Democrats rally together around the Mantra and fully expose their Ideological Positions of Radical Liberalism, America just might wake up. 

I love America.  I love God.  I love my Family.  I love my Freedom.  I am not suggesting that anyone reading this does not.  What I am pleading for is that we honestly evaluate the positions of those on the Left and those on the Right and ask, “What direction do we really want to take?”  I ask that we consider the true benefits of our Free Market System, and Republican Form of Government as opposed to the abject failure and tyrannical despotism of Socialism, Communism, Marxism, and Fascism. 

The Elections of 2020 are not Trump vs the Democratic Candidate, they are about maintaining our Freedoms or losing them.  You and only you can make the choice and I pray you choose wisely.

The more I review and muse on the political landscape of today’s American politics, the more some conclusions are solidified in my mind.  I have studied our historic founding, the fight for Freedom in the American Revolution, the struggle for identity and producing a viable and lasting constitution, and our national direction.  In those studies, I have often wondered what our Framers and Founders would think of today’s America politically.  I believe I can answer that reasonably decidedly.  You may or may not agree but let’s give it a go.

First, what was the vision and desire of the Framers of the presidency?  What did they want in a President?  Someone asked, “Would Donald John Trump be their worst nightmare or exactly what they envisioned?”  I suspect a little of both but let me get to the heart of my commentary.  Again, you may agree with my analysis or disagree fiercely, but it is my view and I only ask you to hear me out before kicking me to the curb or giving me an amen.  As Ecclesiastes 12:13 recommends, let’s hear the conclusion of the whole matter.

The Founders and Framers were almost unanimous in their choice of our first president.  It would be General George Washington.  He had weathered the storms of difficulty in holding together the Continental Army, presided over the Constitutional Convention, and was a successful businessman.  He was, in my view, a successful president and chose wise and capable men to serve in his cabinet.  Two men, Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson, provided tremendous insight and stability to the fledgling nation in its infancy.

Alexander Hamilton, the Secretary of the Treasury put the new nation’s finances in order.  Tragically we have had few Hamilton’s since and our finances are in total disarray today.  I can only imagine what he would say if he could address our fiscal condition, but I am certain it would not be complimentary.  Thomas Jefferson, the Secretary of State helped to establish our standing among the nations of the world.  That was no small task, considering that we were upstarts and were breaking the old, world order’s unwritten pecking order.

Both Hamilton and Jefferson had somewhat checkered pasts. Hamilton’s temper ultimately brought about his death at the hands of Aaron Burr in a duel.  Hamilton also weathered a blackmail scandal due to unwise coquetry.  Jefferson confessed to having, “offered love to a handsome lady” not his wife. 

Let’s make some comparisons and this is where you may or may not agree with me.  If you are adamantly ‘anti-Trump’ you will protest.  If you are on the fence, you may or may not agree.  If you are a Trump supporter, the Amen chorus will echo so loudly people in Europe will hear. 

Hamilton and Trump both succeeded in placing America’s financial situation on much more solid footing.  Jefferson achieved some significant victories in foreign affairs as has Trump.  Yes, Trump has, despite the claims of the Left and the Media otherwise.  He has also avoided military engagements abroad.  The Democrats chanted that Trump was sending us to war with China, North Korea, Iran, and even Russia but alas he has kept the peace and sought the pathway of diplomacy much to their chagrin.

The closest of the three to being a career politician was Jefferson but Jefferson was more than a politician.  He was a plantation owner, a noted scholar, a tremendous author, and an inventor worthy of note.  One of the consummate fears of the Founders and Framers was that the new Republic would fall prey to factions in government and political elitism would prevail.  They offered safeguards and warnings to prevent an oligarchy of elitists and attempted to guarantee that ‘we the people’ would not lose control and oversight of the government.  Their warnings were not heeded, and their safeguards bypassed, leading to today’s political America.

In many ways, Trump is exactly what they envisioned, and Hillary Clinton and the Democratic acolytes of destruction are the opposite.  Donald Trump’s promise to ‘drain the swamp’ resonated with millions of Americans and most of us translated that to mean a return to ‘self-government’ and the end of ‘Statism and administrative rule.’  More could have been done, had the Republican Establishment kept their promise to the voters, but some has been done and much has been attempted.

What we need is for more of us to take up the challenge and embrace our constitutional responsibility in fighting to rid ourselves of the National Professional Political Parasites now serving in Washington.  We dare not lose sight of what has been done as well as what is left to do and reinvigorate our resolve to fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom in America. 

Old Joe Biden wants to take us back to the disastrous policies of the Obama era.  He wants to restore the old, world order and strip from us the progress we have made under this administration.  He wants to return us to the very thing that we elected Donald J. Trump to rid us of. 

I suspect that Jefferson and even Hamilton would be in favor of much of what Trump has done and is trying to do.  James Madison famously declared, “a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical.”  Jefferson’s well-known quote is alarmingly apropos today.  He said, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” 

I do not want a shooting revolution, but I do want a resounding defeat of the Left in November 2020.  If you will, I see Trump’s victory in 2016 somewhat of a Jeffersonian rebellion.  We have accomplished some, but there is much to be done.

It’s been a while since I’ve ranted about Agenda 21 and the United Nations Globalist objective of World Government and Utopian Control, but let’s approach it regarding ‘Climate Change’ or whatever the identifying term is today.  History reveals that Europe has provided the world with some very undesirable gifts.  Those would be Fascism, Communism, and Nazism.  Oh, I’m not blaming everyone in Europe for those but that is where they arose and were the birthplace from which they have furrowed destruction throughout the world. 

Today, the incessant and scientifically unverified paranoia over ‘Climate Change’ is the face of a much darker purpose.  It is one of the tools being used by Globalist to advance their agenda and objective of Control.  The government regulations designed to achieve greater energy efficiency are both costly and ineffective.  The more the government, any government, regulates the more it controls.  The more it controls the less freedom we have and more of our money they confiscate.  All under the guise of ‘Saving the Planet.’ 

When I view the world of economics and finance, as I do from time to time, I find some perplexing revelations.  I am at a loss to understand, other than their quest for power and control, why anyone in America would want to copy Europe economically or even governmentally.  Why?  Statistical data confirms that the GDP in the United States is 5 times that of Germany, 7 times that of France and the United Kingdom, 10 times that of Italy, and 14 times that of Spain.  How are those economic models better than what we have?  Yet, the Democrats and sadly some Republicans want to make us more like Europe economically and even governmentally.

The answer, I believe, lies in one word – Control.  The more they can force us to practice Europe’s ‘Control-down Economics’ the easier we are to be placed under their thumbs and controlled.  Is that what Americans really want?  Only those who do not think and by the fallacies of socialism and liberalism.  Anyone who has carved out a comfortable lifestyle and economic nest egg wants no part of the agenda of the leftist.  How have millions become so deceived with the romanticizing of the European model? 

Many of the efficiency standards and regulations imposed by the Department of Energy (DOE) have been more detrimental than helpful and incredibly costly for the consumer.  A small price to pay to protect the planet, right?  If we were truly protecting the planet that might have some validity.  The Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 1975 contains some interesting provisions that few know about.  That Act contains the provision of protecting consumers from efficiency standards that reduce product features and performance.  Wow!  Who knew? 

In March 2018, the Competitive Enterprise Institute petitioned the Department of Energy to set a new standard.  The DOE granted that petition this year and has begun the long laborious governmental process of determining whether a new efficiency rule is warranted that would permit the production of dishwashers that can do the job in an hour rather than the two or three hours required by the regulated energy-efficient models.  There is much more work to be done and hopefully, with Trump in the White House, the DOE will consider more and more of the overly restrictive regulations in other areas.

Agenda 21 and the Sustainable Development Agenda has a long-range plan to force us into public transportation and out of our cars.  They want to force us into Urban living with restrictive travel options.  In short, they want to dictate every detail of our lives.  Ultimately that will include when and how we die.  I am horrified by their objective and even more horrified by the millions that believe it to be a good and noble effort.  After all, the Liberal Leftists insist, ‘We must save the planet.’  What if it is not in danger and does not need to be saved from man?

The City of Portland, Oregon created an ‘equitable mobility’ task force.  What was their assignment?  Investigate and offer plans to charge people for using local roads.  There is a hidden agenda.  The stated objective is to reduce carbon emissions and congestion on the city streets.  They are expecting as many as half a million new residents by 2040.  Their desire, as stated by Commissioner Chloe Eudaly, the overseer of the transportation bureau is to ‘get people out of their cars.’  There you have it.  Those dastardly evil cars and the freedom they provide must be eliminated.  If that is not Control what is it?

I have long contended that automobiles enable us to be more productive, live in less dense environments, and provide expanded work opportunities for people.  Americans do not live, as do our European counterparts in cramped urban metro-centers.  Yes, places like NYC and a few others do but millions across this expansive and great land do not.  We do not all live in areas or environments that make taking the bus, train, or bike feasible.  The time factor alone for trying to navigate public transportation or riding 40 miles to work is a deal breaker for most Americans. 

Cities across this land are reducing the number of vehicle lanes by expanding dedicated bike lanes trying to force us to ride bikes rather than drive our cars.  They are further escalating the congestion problem because rather than giving up our cars we endure the hours-long commutes and curse the politicians and city planners who devise these schemes.  Of course, bike enthusiasts and global warming activist are elated and fail to fully grasp the objective of control.

Today, the PC Police want to censor and regulate all speech.  God forbid that anyone holding Christian views should speak publicly on matters citing the Bible as their reference and guide.  God forbid that anyone wanting fiscal sanity in government should speak and reveal the dangers of entitlements and uncontrolled spending should voice those views publicly.  God forbid that anyone wanting to secure our borders, preserve our national sovereignty, and advance conservative ideas should speak openly.  Hate speech has become any speaking by a Christian, traditional family supporter, pro-life, conservative and constitutionalist.  Hate speech has become any speech the liberal leftist hate and worthy of the severest of punishment.

God help us if we do not realize that Control is the real objective and that politicians are not our friends.  Even those that go to Washington professing to believe what we believe and want to protect and defend the constitution fail us.  I don’t know what happens but as one Congressman told me, “You have to give to get, so we compromise.”  My concern is not compromising but the abandonment of the promises made to the voters that elected them.   Are we going to wake up?  I don’t know, but I continue to pray and fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom!  Join the fight, please!

Before I launch into my private rant and in a limited fashion detail what I am talking about I must ask, “How Much Destruction of the Republic Is Worth Satisfying Your Hate?”  I am speaking to people on the Right, on the Left, and those supposedly in the Middle, if there is a Political Middle today.  It is my view that when hate and the thirst for vengeance or revenge become the prime objective everybody loses, and nobody wins.  In my life I have witnessed people, proverbially, cutting off their noses to spite their faces.  I ask, “Is or Was it Worth It?”  I suspect the truth is, NO!

There are some people I call friends who are adamantly anti-Trump to the point they voted for Hillary and voted for Democrats in 2018. They have vowed to vote for whomever the Democrat is in 2020 in opposition to Trump.  They hate Trump that much!  It has far more to do with who he is than what he has done or stands for.  They are willing to ignore the warts, flaws, and anti-American sentiment expressed in the ideological agenda of those following the toxicity of liberalism and socialism, but not any flaws in Trump’s demeanor.  One of them said, “I’d vote for the devil himself before I’d vote for the devil Donald Trump.”  I was flabbergasted at that declaration and the shortsightedness of it.

As the 2016 presidential campaign developed some of the Trump antagonists attempted to join forces with the Democrats to defeat him.  Bill Kristol, the de facto head of the NeverTrump, Inc., proclaimed he was building an army and funding a ‘war machine’ to take down Trump in 2020.  He failed in 2016 and is failing in his attempt regarding 2020.  Many of them have been as vocal as the Democrats in promoting the fallaciousness of Trump’s Russian collusion and ignored the involvement of the Democrats in that faux intelligence.  The Steele dossier was a fabrication almost from start to finish and literally bought and paid for by Hillary, Obama, and the DNC. 

The massive shift of the Democrats to the Left toward Socialism and Communism has significantly left many of the “Never Trump” advocates out in the cold with no home in either party.  The Democrats, as they often do, used them to regain control of the House in 2018 and in their attempt to defeat and then unseat Trump after 2016.  Now, that many of those advocates are criticizing the Left’s hard left turn the Democrats have little interest in their views and have, in many incidences, shut them out of the conversation.  They have become an afterthought to the Left, who are far more interested in the Illegals than them.

Mona Charen, a former conservative, has admitted in a column for Politico that she voted Democrat in 2018 and empowered uber leftists like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilham Omar, and others.  She and those who joined her in voting for the Democrats in opposition to Trump have opened the door to massive destruction of our Republic and system of government.  They are enabling those who are a direct threat to our national security and our economy.  I must ask, “Is Quenching Your Hate and Securing Your Pound of Flesh Worth It?”  The price that will be paid in the years to come has yet to be fully revealed, but I believe it will be catastrophic. 

Before you accuse me of being a Trump puppet and apologist I ask that you consider the cost, on every front, of the eight years of Obama and the current proposals by the Democrats.  Do you truly believe that is better than what has transpired under Trump’s watch?  He has been none of the atrocious things the Left has contended that he is.  He is not the existential threat claimed by the Left of the Never-Never Crowd but what they are doing to the country is.

When supposedly conservative constitutionalists such as Tom Nichols contends that the “Only requirement for an opposition candidate is the ability to get 270 votes” I cringe.  Do you really hate Trump that much that you really do not care what the opposition candidate believes, advocates, and proposes so long as they can defeat him?  Is America’s survival that unimportant to you?   I am sick of hearing the term “principled conservative” being used to describe and laud any conservative that opposes Trump while voting for the Leftists.  I take that as an insult to my character, ethics, and principles.  I love America and believe that the most principled thing I can do is defeat the toxic liberalism of the left. 

Some Trump haters are acknowledging that the breakup of the Left and the Never Trump advocates is imminent.  However, that does not prevent them from continuing to try to find some fictional common ground that the two can unite and launch a full-frontal assault on him.  They have been doing that for three years.  There are those who hate Trump who have offered a compromise in their principles in supporting abortion providing it is in the first twenty weeks of the pregnancy.  They have modified their opposition to man-made climate change, energy, gun control, and illegal immigration attempting to form a union of opposition to take down Trump.  That is astounding to me.

There are things I strongly dislike about the demeanor of President Trump.  His language is not my preferred choice.  He has signed on to a few things such as spending that I do not like.  However, I like his willingness to fight back but that is not the basis of my support.  I support protecting our rights and freedoms, defending America and Americans and I see him doing that as opposed to what Obama did and what the Democratic hopefuls propose.

When I consider what he has done, what he promised, and what he has tried to do contrasted to what the Democrats vow to do, I say, “Thank God, he and not they are in the White House.”  I have moved beyond concern of what people may think of me for my support of Trump and my efforts to defeat the Democrats.  If you consider me subhuman, that is your choice.  If you consider me a cultist, that is your choice.  I have fought in war defending this nation and freedom and will defend your right to think, believe, and say what you believe.  I believe in America, American people, the Constitution, the Bible, and our Inalienable Rights.   I stand for Faith, Family, and Freedom and make no apologies for that.
