HOW NEAR THE END ARE WE?


Maybe another way of asking that is, “Are we near the end of our Republic and if we are, how near are we?”  If that is more palatable to you, then please rephrase my question to be more palatable to you. You may be one that believes all that is happening in politics today is nothing more than a passing season and as with the climate, this is cyclical and nothing to be concerned about.  I wish I could ascribe to that view, it would be much more effective in easing my mind.  I wish I could see the antics of the Democrats and those following the ideologies that are a pathway to the destruction of our republican system of government.  I wish, but unfortunately, what I sense in my spirit, and see with my eyes will not allow me to take a ‘rose-colored glasses view.’

When Barack Obama declared, “We are just days away from fundamentally transforming America,” I cringed.  I’ve heard the wind blow before from political blowhards but something inside me said, “Take him seriously.  He is not proposing something that he does not believe can become a reality.”  

I had read the excerpts from his books and those he had associated with and realized that his previous history suggested that he was far less pro-America than he was pro-globalism and supported the Islamic jihadist facilitators more than anyone should have been comfortable with. 

I considered the church he had spent 20-years in and the anti-Semitic and anti-American views of his pastor, Jeremiah Wright.   That Reverend stunningly declared, “Not God Bless America, but God D*** America.”  That made me cringe and weep! Those factors disturbed me in ways that I could not positively prove.

Since the election of Donald J. Trump in 2016, my concerns have not abated but have escalated.  During the eight-years of Obama, I watched our race relations deteriorate troublingly.  He was lauded as the ‘first black president’ and I have no problem with a black, a woman, a Hispanic or any ethnicity being president so long as they demonstrate support for the Constitution and a pro-America view.  If they seek to ‘fundamentally transform’ this Republic into something that destroys our national sovereignty, shreds our Constitution, strips us of our inalienable and constitutional rights, I cannot and will not support them. 

The actions of Obama, Biden, Clinton, and those in control during the attack on our embassy in Benghazi was somewhat the last straw for me.  Their push to weaken the pillars of our founding is the culmination of a 100-year journey by the Left.  It extends far beyond 100-years, but that is a relatively clear period we can track and see how the Democratic Party has evolved into a Party of genocide, racism, socialism, and frequently demonstrate the characteristics of being Fascist.  If I am correct in that assessment, then what is happening is not a ‘bump in the road’ but a planned assault on our Republic.  What is happening cannot be passed off as a cyclical season of politics but a War that must not be ignored and must be won.

The Left has been progressively moving toward the precipice of destruction for decades, but their determination and commitment to the cause of American Revisionism is escalating.  By that, I mean Revision of the Republic into a Socialist Oligarchy where the Government is in Total Control. 

The Democratic Establishment has demonstrated its fundamental view that there is no such thing as private property or individual rights.  Well, maybe they do believe in those but not for anyone who disagrees with their ideological agenda and refuses to worship at the altar of Climate Change and Entitlements.  If we refuse to support abortion and the genocide they have proposed, we are deemed unworthy of any rights.  If they could, they would round us up and incarcerate us in reeducation camps to adjust our attitudes and program us to be their docile sheep.  Many of us are unable to bow at that altar and surrender our God-given inalienable rights and allegiance to the God of the Bible.

The past year, 2019 has been very revealing and I believe that 2020 will present even more challenges to the Republic.  The only hope we have of stemming the tide of that destructive tsunami they desire is to win both House of Congress and the White House this November.  If we fail, the price may be far greater than even the most pessimistic fear.  I pray that enough Americans awaken from their political stupor and unite to vote for America by voting against the Leftists.

When I look at the new faces and voices in the Democratic Party, I have great concern for America.  Many who study politics devotedly believe that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Squad are the new faces of the Progressive Movement and the Democratic Party.  If they are correct, and those members of Congress are reelected and more like them added to their number, we have a grave problem.  If they can proselytize enough members of their Party and win the White House, they can push through legislation that is destructive for America.  If you consider that simply a cyclical moment, I suggest you consider the consequences of ignoring this situation.

With the presence of people like Talib and Omar, openly pro-Islamist there is a genuine danger for the Constitutional Republic.  With the rise of teenage terrors, living privileged lives but given a world stage to spew forth their rhetoric, diatribe, and vitriol, there is a genuine danger. 

With the rise of people like Eric Swalwell, we have people on the Left who have expressed a willingness to eradicate their opposition.  He even declared that using nuclear weapons against those of us who disagree with his and their views.  That cannot be ignored. 

With media members such as Rachel Maddow, Chuck Todd, and those who pose as more moderate wage war on Christians, the biblical view of genders and marriage, and spread malicious lies regarding this President and those of us on the Right, there is a problem.  They seem to know no bounds and believe that they are free to fabricate, do and say whatever they please with total impunity.  That is a problem.

When I consider the views expressed by the Democratic hopefuls to become President, I am deeply disturbed.  The very fact that any poll would indicate that they are viable opponents to President Trump is concerning and signifies a genuine danger to our Republic.  When the totally partisan witch hunt and kangaroo court conducted by Schiff, Nadler is praised it is troubling. The willingness of celebrities to call for vile actions against Trump and his family and indirectly against all of us who oppose their ideology, is disturbing and dangerous!

Therefore, I ask my question again, “How Near the End Are We?”  I am not speaking of the Last Days of the Bible, I believe we are in those days.  I am asking regarding the Republic – “How Much Time Do We Have as the Free Constitutional Republic?”  Hopefully, I am unduly concerned, and my trepidation is unwarranted, but in my spirit and my view, watching what has transpired over the past decade, I am deeply concerned that the answer is, “One Election Away.”  That would mean that we can stay the final verdict by defeating the Democrats in November and reclaiming control of Congress as well as keeping the White House.  I ask you to join me in fighting to maintain our Republic and our Freedom!

WILL THE REAL FASCIST PLEASE STAND UP?


Uh, no they won’t and the Fascist on the Left who call their opponents Fascists will be lauded as Freedom Fighters and Justifiably Angry and their actions excused.  How long will that last?  How long will the toxic liberal philosophy of Socialism exist in the political arena in America?  That’s how long this will continue, and I see some very dark clouds rising over the horizon causing many to predict WAR of epic proportions in internal America.  I hope those predictions are wrong, but I think they are right.

I keep seeing and hearing statements by educators, political pundits, activists, and politicians they justify the actions of groups like Antifa and others.  We have, or should have been watching this, for longer than most of us have been alive.  It is not a new phenomenon but is, at least 100-years old and has grown in strength and support in the past decade. 

Left-wing terrorism has deep roots dating back to the 19th and 20th centuries.  The terrorism of the modern left-wing has been labeled ‘political unrest’ giving it a more justifiable and palatable identity.  We watched the Weather Underground commit horrific acts of terrorism in the name of ‘political unrest’ for what they deemed unjust and unfair.  We have endured the SDS (Students for a Democratic Society) rise and commit atrocious acts of violence.  We saw the SLA (Symbionese Liberation Army) engaging in criminal activities in the name of ‘political unrest’.  There was the New World Liberation Front with their pipe-bombs in the 1970s. 

The United Freedom Front was active in the 1980s.  There has been the Black Panther Party and now the New Black Panther Party and today’s Antifa and funding for the various violent activist groups coming from non-profits claiming to exist in pursuit of peaceful co-existence and justice for all.  Sadly, those violent groups target conservatives, people wearing MAGA hats, and anyone not embracing their philosophy or being of the same skin pigmentation. 

I find it difficult to comprehend how anyone can justify violent actions against political or ideological opponents.  Are we, as a society, gravitating toward the view that it is a justifiable path to commit acts of violence against people we disagree with?  If so, the prognosticators of a coming Civil War are far more correct than they may think.  If we lose the concept of Freedom of Speech and civil disagreement, we are doomed as a society and blood in the streets will be the result.

I had a person on the Left attempt to justify the violence by quoting the Old Testament.  He said, “Well, even God said, an eye for an eye. Therefore, these groups have God’s blessings as they stamp out the evil of conservatism and force everyone to tolerate everyone and everything.”  Wow!  When I took them to the New Testament and the directive of our Lord Jesus to “Love, thy neighbor,” they wanted no part of it and made a snarky remark about antiquated religious views of Christians.  Basically, it was, “You either believe as I do, or you are wrong and worthy of whatever bad happens to you.”

Our Founding Fathers understood the age-old reality that if we were going to have and maintain a Republic, we must guard the ability and right for everyone to enjoy freedom of speech.  They understood the value of open discussion and debate on issues.  They expressed the recognized benefit of differing opinions to be voiced, enabling both sides to potentially learn from the other and find common ground.  They would be appalled at the condition now existing in American politics and society and wonder what they fought for and why.

It is somewhat ironic that those who support Antifa, mob violence, the end of freedom of speech, and demonstrate an unbending and unyielding intolerance of any opposing view call themselves ‘Progressives.’  The truth is their views are not progressive but regressive.  Their views date back to the time of kings, dictators, street brawls, and total political chaos with assignations a common occurrence in the political.  Those views date back to a time when dissent was not tolerated and any person could be attacked, imprisoned, or killed. 

If you examine history, you will discover that the rise of Fascism came about in the 1920s under Benito Mussolini.  The communist coined the term ‘fascist’ to identify renegade socialists.  Those who claim that Fascism was a right-wing movement are devoid of factual understanding of history.  It has always been a subsection of Socialism or Communism and will always be.  The fascists like the original Antifa were an example of one left-wing group fighting another left-wing group. 

History reveals that the National Socialists in Germany and the Soviet Union wanted to eliminate social classes and advance a social experiment to achieve their desired utopia.  Interestingly, the Germans and the Soviets still called them Fascists and considered them rivals within the same mindset and ideology. 

The heart of Communism and Socialism is a totalitarian, one-party state, with forced collectivism and centrally planned economies, where individual rights were given by the all-powerful government.  They did not believe in ‘inalienable rights’ because they truly did not believe in God.  They saw the government as god.  Today’s Antifa and the left-wing radicals are pushing for the very thing they accuse those of us on the Right of pursuing.  They want government control and suppression of freedom of speech for anyone opposing their ideological views.

Antifa and other left-wing violent activist groups claim to be fighting us because we are oppressive and violent, but they are the ones engaging in oppression and violence.  They openly express their admiration for tyrants and despots like Joseph Stalin, a mass murderer of epic proportions.

The members of groups like Antifa hold an ideology that is reflected by the hammer and sickle.  They justify their violence because they claim to have been victims of the evil white, conservative, Judeo-Christians of the Right. They attack those of us who want less government, more freedom, and individual rights.  The views we express and embrace would achieve what they claim to want in a far greater measure than their violence and hate.  If anyone cares to investigate, they would find that the ‘hammer and sickle’ is a gruesome reminder, or should be, of the Socialist-Communist terror that has slaughtered over 120 million people. 

Hey, America, those of us who resist our Republic being transformed into a Socialist, Politically Correct, Freedom-less nation are not the fascists.  We are not engaging in the actions of Fascists, Communists, or Socialists we are fighting for Freedom.  I pray that enough Americans will awaken in November of this year to help us save the Republic for the Tyranny of the Left.

YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS STUFF UP…


I’m serious, folks, the things that some of the politicians, media types, Hollywood faux intellectuals, and the rabid activist say is beyond comical.  Sadly, what they are saying, they believe.  Like the Georgia Democratic Representative Hank Johnson’s highly intellectual expression of fear that the island of Guam would capsize if too many people resided there.  He said it, in 2010 and called the Jewish people ‘termites’, but he is not anti-Semitic and deemed highly intelligent by the aforementioned groups.

From my own state of Texas, the illustrious and possibly infamous Democratic Congressman, Al Green said, “I’m concerned that if we don’t impeach this president, he will get re-elected.”  So, Congressman are you saying that the primary reason you and your party impeached and tried to remove from office was to prevent him from re-election?  I thought it was supposed to be because he actually committed ‘high crimes and/or misdemeanors?”  I guess not!

When I watched as Robert Mueller testified before Congress it was apparent that he had likely never read his own report.  The term “Fusion GPS” was not included in his report and he confessed he was not familiar with the term.  Seriously?  That was the heart and soul of their allegations and he was ‘unfamiliar.’  Wow! 

How about, the myriad of gaffes made by the former Vice President and current Democratic hopeful to become Commander in Chief saying, “We choose truth over facts!”  What?  Don’t facts support truth and reveal the truth?  Maybe that was a Freudian slip revealing what is in the hearts of the power-brokers on the Left.  They seem to believe that “truth” has quasi-religious implications as they continue to replace and reject God, the God of our ancestors, and facts. 

Does anyone remember Lawrence O’Donnell’s claim to Rachel Maddow that he had a single source to confirm that Trump’s loans were co-signed by Russian oligarchs?  He had to retract that the next day, but the narrative continued, and millions believed it because they heard on MSNBC, CNN, etc.  The Democrats all seem to believe that, we the people, are clamoring to pay more taxes, regressive taxes, and exorbitant taxes.  We want to be taxed into oblivion and into the poor house to fund their ridiculous plans and freebies.  I have a news flash for the Democrats, WE ARE NOT!

Of the many ludicrous things that Biden, Sanders, Warren, and others have said, we have Joe’s belief that kids long to touch the blond hair on his legs while in the swimming pool and that kids love jumping on his lap.  The man sounds like a pedophile, not a presidential hopeful. 

He and Bernie want to jail oil, gas, and fossil fuel executives because they do not prescribe to the Left’s demand for worshipping at the Climate Change Altar and embrace their New Green Deal.  Joe even said, in Pennsylvania that coal miners who lose their jobs because of his policies could learn computer programming.  He said, “Anybody who can go down 3,000 feet in a mine can sure as hell learn to program as well.”  

In New Jersey, he said, “Anybody who can throw coal into a furnace can learn how to program, for God’s sake!”  Wow!  His intelligence is impressive, right?  I would suggest that it is impressive only if you have flipped the off switch on your brain and your IQ hovers somewhere around freezing on the Fahrenheit scale.

If we turn back the clock just a few years we will discover that these dangerous but comical gaffes by the Democrats are not a new phenomenon they are a continuation.  It is also reflective of the usage of brainpower or the lack thereof of millions of voters who rabidly support them.  Hillary Clinton contended that it is not corporations or businesses that create jobs.  That goes hand in hand with Obama’s assertion that “If you’ve got a business… you didn’t build that.”  I guess they skipped any economics classes while in school.

How about the Democrat Mayor of Opelousas, Louisiana, Don Cravins, saying, “If you voted early, go vote again tomorrow.  One more time’s not going to hurt.  Tomorrow we are going to elect [Democrat] Earl Taylor as [District Attorney], so he won’t prosecute you if you vote twice.”  Wow!  That is great respect for the Law and an incredible indictment on the character of the man wanting to be the District Attorney. 

Do you recall the former Democratic Assemblywoman from New York, Patricia Eddington’s argument for gun control?  She said, “Some of these bullets, as you saw, have an incendiary device on the tip of it, which is a heat-seeking device.  So, you don’t shoot a deer with a bullet that size.  If you do you could cook it at the same time.”  I laughed until I cried and the wept because I knew people would believe her and buy her stupidity as factual reality.

Can I offer another the fact-checkers should have been all over, but I heard some Leftist repeating?  Terry McAuliffe as Governor of Virginia said we lose 93 million Americans a day to gun violence.”  Wow, Governor, with less than 400 million we have less than a week before man, in America becomes extinct.  He said, “If we lose 93 million Americans a day to gun violence, how many days do we have to pass a gun control bill before we run out of people to sign it?”  If it’s that massive and the carnage that prolific, Governor, it’s over, so no worries, just live the next few days as though they were your last, because, in your five, they are!

How about, former President Barack Hussein Obama’s unbelievable declaration that was not immediately laughed at and discounted.  He said, “it is easier for a 12 or 13-year old to purchase a gun, and cheaper than it is for them to get a book.”  I don’t know where he shopped for guns or books, but I can’t buy a gun for less than $20 but I can buy books at that price all day long and so can my grandchildren.

Just for grins, I remember the mental giant Sheryl Crow speaking on Climate Change and Environmentalism saying, “I propose a limitation be put on how many squares of toilet paper can be used in one sitting.  Now, I don’t want to rob any law-abiding American of his or her God-given rights, but I think we are an industrious enough people that we can make it work with only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where 2 or 3 would be required.”  Hey Sheryl, why use paper at all, just use your hand because that’s what you’d be doing anyway.

Al Gore created the Internet.  Obama visited all 57 states in America.  Joe Biden told us that Obama’s jobs plan was a three-letter word ‘J-O-B-S”.  How about Marion Barry, the former mayor of Washington, DC, “If you take out the killings, Washington actually has a very low crime rate.”  How about former Senator, Chris Dodd saying, “Eight more days and I can start telling the truth again.”  That was on the campaign trail.  Wait, you mean you were not telling the potential voters the truth?  What a confession.

The list is endless and yes, Republicans have made stupid statements too, but with this crop of geniuses on the Democratic side, if we like our Republic and want to keep it, we must REJECT THEM!

TIME TO CALL IT WHAT IT IS…


Call what, what it is?  It is time to call the pandering to illegals, the shredding our Constitution, ignoring American citizens, and failing to govern in the best interest of America and the American people INSANE and DIABOLICAL!  Let me say, IT IS TREASONOUS!  That’s what I am talking about. 

It has irked me from the first evidence of the individual states issuing driver’s licenses to illegals.  Some of those states allow them to register to vote at the same time and afford them the opportunity to, with the blessings of the state, commit voter fraud.  The states taking steps to abet the commission of a felony is felonious and should be actionable resulting in indictments of the officials who become accessories in the commission of a crime.  It won’t be but it should be.

Approving driver’s licenses for people who have illegally entered the United States is a slap in the face of every legal immigrant and every U.S. citizen.  It is an abandonment of rational reason.  They call these illegals ‘undocumented persons’ not illegals.  When did the idea that an illegal act should become acceptable and rewarded?  What kind of lunacy and deranged mind concocts that notion?  Better yet, who are the people who vote for those lunatics?  I’m sorry for my harsh language but this is infuriating and incredibly dangerous for America and Americans.

I was taught at home and in school and through studying the Bible I have learned that “Rewarding bad behavior encourages more bad behavior.”  It never encourages change and correction.  If you are rewarded for ignoring the law, why pay any attention to it.  If a child is rewarded for throwing tantrums in private or in public, why would they not continue that behavior? 

If a person cheats in business and lies to gain what they want and is rewarded, why would they take an honest and ethical position?  There must be a penalty for violation of the law.  There can be no coddling or rewarding of those breaking into our nation illegally.  There can be no rewarding for cutting in line and skipping the legally mandated process for immigration.  That is lunacy and will eradicate our borders and strip us of our national sovereignty.

The Democratic hopeful, Mayor Pete Buttigieg has advanced the idea that we should give ‘reparations’ to illegals in the tune of $2.2 Trillion.  Wow!  He is the self-described so-called moderate Democrat in this race?  If that is moderate, I’d hate to see liberal.  He said that the United States owes compensation to the children separated from their families at the southern border.  He also declared that he would put them on a fast track to citizenship.  Basically, he would obligate the United States to pay the illegals an amount equal or more than all the taxes that will be collected in 2020.  So much for a booming economy, it would be history and our national debt would not double it would quadruple under his administration.

The Democrats apparently view the illegals as their new ‘voter base’ or ‘supplemental base’ hoping to replace some of the control they once held and are losing over other ethnic groups. The Constitution, America, Americans, appear inconsequential to them and what happens to us of no importance.  They seem to view being elected and ascending to a position of Total Control paramount in importance.  Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead.  If it means the destruction of the Republic, that to them seems a small price to pay for Control.  America, we must not allow them to reclaim power.  If we do, we will witness, first hand, the dismantling of our Constitutional Republic and America as the Land of the Free will be no more.

It is amazing how the Democrats are not only willing but determined to afford illegals more rights, benefits, and privileges than American citizens.  U.S. Citizens can lose their driver’s licenses if they break the law, but the plan of the several states now issuing them driver’s licenses elevates the criminal above the law-abiding legal citizen.  Is that really what you stand for if you identify as a Democrat?  That is the national policy of your party, and that would be enough to cause me to reconsider my political affiliation. 

I have heard this called a victory for the immigrant community, but I insist that it is a victory for the illegal immigrant community, not those following the law.  Lawful immigrants already had the right to obtain driver’s licenses.  Some politicians insist that this is the only sensible and moral approach for it will make it easier for them to travel and get jobs to support their families.  That is a problem, in my view, because it is ILLEGAL for them to work now.  It is ILLEGAL for any employer to knowingly hire an illegal.  Therefore, the sensible and moral argument goes out the window.  It is anti-American and anti-Constitutional.

These Leftists state governments are passing laws, offering edicts, and mandates that are a clear attempt to impede the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents from doing their legally mandated jobs.  These efforts by those states is an affront and a direct violation of federal law. 

The U.S. Code is unambiguous in its declaration that no individual, agency, state or local government entity or official can interfere with federal law enforcement efforts to collect, receive or share information regarding a person’s immigration status.  It is against federal law to harbor or conceals fugitives from federal law enforcement.  Where are the indictments?  America, the madness of Sanctuary cities and states and the rewarding of criminal behavior is causing harm to America and Americans and it must end.

When states or cities notify and warn illegals that the feds are on their trail and abet them in hiding or avoiding detection and capture, they are breaking the law.  The Democrats have been howling for over three years about interference in our elections and are opening the door for an incredibly large amount of voter fraud.  If they were truly concerned about legitimate elections and only those truly and legally qualified to vote, they would abandon this lunacy immediately.  The fact that they have not abandoned it but are escalating their pursuit of making it legal to break our laws suggests to me that they are only interested in buying votes, enjoying the quid pro quo of votes for benefits, and power.  America and Americans are not their primary interest.

This is another of the many reasons I am unable to consider voting for any Democrat.  I have friends, very good people, who are life-long Democrats as were their parents and grandparents.  Many of them are still unable to see what is truly happening and even though they do not approve of these measures, they believe that the Republicans are evil and plan to vote for their Democratic candidate. They insist it is the ‘lesser of two evils.’  I love America and want the best for this nation and her people.  That is why I will vote to defeat this lunacy and keep America the Free, Legal, and the Constitutional Republic it has been and should remain.

WE MUST HOLD THE LAW ACCOUNTABLE TO THE LAW or PERISH…


With so much hoopla over the Impeachment and the State of the Union Address and happenings, I decided to write about something else. I decided to focus on something that is deeply troubling and incredibly dangerous regarding the survival of our Republic. The Federal Law Enforcement’s Violation of the Law!

America, we are at a juncture in our Republic where it is imperative that we make some, possibly quite difficult and unpleasant, decisions in our government.  There are so many of those that to highlight one or two is almost an example of too little, but we must begin somewhere to achieve any restoration of our system of government and justice. 

Since the campaign for the 2016 election and subsequently, we have endured the most blatant abuse of the Law, the Constitution, and Ethics I have ever witnessed.  The animus toward Candidate Trump, then-President-Elect Trump, and now President Trump has grown steadily by those on the Left.  Prior to Trump’s election, they almost uniformly decried the relevance of the American Constitution.  They expressed, as did Barack Obama, that it was too restrictive and a document of negative liberties.  What he meant was it was too restrictive on the government and hindered him and them from freely doing what they wanted in his desire to ‘fundamentally transform’ this nation.

Now, they claim to be the defenders of our most precious governmental document, the Constitution. They does this all the while ignoring it, bypassing it, shredding it, and violating it in their quest to oust and destroy Trump.  Their vitriol is beyond the pale and is dividing this country so completely we may never recover.  During the eight-years of Obama, we witnessed a regression of race and class relations.  We have witnessed an increase in the political correctness insanity, the growth of Utopianism, the push for acceptance of socialism, and a direct attack on our foundational faith. 

Our 1st and 2nd Amendment Rights are being tampered with dangerously and in direct violation of the Constitution.  We have witnessed our 4th Amendment Rights trampled on by the abuses of the FBI and the FISA Courts.  I find it difficult to identify what I see happening in any other terms than “War.” 

We are beginning to become privy to increasing revelations about the abuses of the FBI and certain members of that organization. We are witnessing the vastness of the Swamp and the Deep State and seeing how determined those in Washington’s inner circle are willing to go to protect their own.  Why?  In my view, it is because so many of those in Congress have dirt on their hands or skeletons in their closets that would possibly cost them their positions if exposed.  Therefore, protect they do and protect they will. 

The IG’s Report indicated that there were seventeen specific violations that most believe, if intentional, were criminal.  They were abuses of the law whether intentional oversights or premeditated attempts to wage war against Trump’s campaign.  Neither is acceptable.  The FISA Court needs to go away, because of these abuses and the prospects of abuses in the future.  I am very pro defending against terrorism and international espionage, but I am adamantly anti-stripping Americans of our Rights and Constitutional liberties. 

We know that the former FBI director James Comey and his associate Andrew McCabe were at the head of this corrupt FBI Machine that abused and violated the law.  Why are they not under indictment and will they be in the future?  I would hope yes, but history does not lend itself to the fulfillment of those hopes.  However, I remain hopeful that John Durham and William Barr will see the incredible danger of failure to prosecute.  America’s future may well be hanging in the balance of their decisions.

Many, including myself, have been deeply disappointed that the FISA Judge Rosemary Collyer’s rebuke of the FBI is largely toothless.  If this results in nothing more than a slap on the wrist and an order to clean up the corruption, we will witness even more egregious violations in the future.  The FBI, a law enforcement agency, will become more of a Gestapo than a police force.  They will become, what they largely have become, a weapon against political opponents, and that is detrimental to our Freedom and our Republic.

The message being conveyed by inaction and wrist-slap injunctions is, “You can lie to the FISA Court with impunity.  There will be no punishment or accountability and if you get caught you will get slapped on the wrist and told ‘shame on you.’”  Demanding that they correct their infringements going forward is not a fix it is a cover and that lends to my view that the FISA Court has outlived its usefulness.  I say that considering the deviousness of those at the helm of the FBI in recent years.

We know that as far back as 2002 there were FISA violations by the FBI that Robert Mueller, the FBI Director at that time, promised to correct.  He clearly did not, and the FBI continued their abuses and expanded them as they sought to prevent Trump’s election and then in their effort to oust him from office.  We know that there were more than 70 violations in 2002 and Director Mueller promised ‘new procedures’ to fix the problem and prevent it from happening.  I guess if by ‘fix’ you mean to stack the deck against political opponents, he fulfilled his promise.  Otherwise, he failed miserably if he attempted at all.

In 2016, President Obama’s administration his DOJ dropped hundreds of violations against the court.  No consequences, no punishment, and no accountability resulted.  That opened the door to the most egregious and nefarious political dirty tricks to become reality.  No one in the FBI fears the FISA Court because they have learned over the past several years that they can lie to the court with no fear of punishment. They will continue to do the same if Attorney General Barr does not hold them accountable. 

America if we allow our federal law enforcement agencies to trample on the law, we will witness the destruction of our Republic.  It has escalated far beyond a two-tier justice system. We have and are witnessing the weaponization of national law enforcement and various bureaus of our government.  If we allow this to continue, we will destroy ourselves. 

America, we must somehow find the courage and determination to CLEAN HOUSE in Washington.  With the surety of voter fraud, illegals voting, dead people voting, unqualified people voting, and voting in multiple locations we face an uphill battle.  However, if we will commit ourselves to intercessory prayer, invest our time and money, and get out the vote WE CAN WIN!  Let’s show them that America still belongs to The People and We the People are Taking it Back!

THE VIEW OF A FORMER LIBERAL…


Before anyone breaks out the boiling oil, tar, and feathers and secures a rail sufficiently strong to hoist me upon, let me state THAT LIBERAL WAS NOT ME!  I cannot say that I have ever been a liberal in my views other than regarding charitable giving, in which I believe strongly in being liberal in our willingness to give to good causes and to the Kingdom of God. That would be personal giving not government handouts. 

I hope everyone read far enough to realize that the former liberal of which I speak is not me.  If you are still with me, I would like to address some of the political climate now existing in America and how it has, does, and will affect everyone.  That is a lofty objective and one that I may not attain but it is worthy of me giving the old college try. 

I have talked with numerous liberals, some still in the Democratic fold and some who have strayed from the plantation and there is unanimity in opinion on some things.  One is that the Left in America is not a homogenous entity but a blending of numerous factions.  They largely have adopted the Middle Eastern philosophy, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”  Thus, they have worked with and even allowed the co-opting of their Party Platform by the avid activist on the Far Left to lead the way.  They almost all, have a disdain for anyone embracing conservative views or who follow advance Judeo-Christian values.  Therefore, those on the Far Left who hate us are deemed as welcome allies in their quest for power.

The unfortunate condition in America is that the Left has been hijacked by the purveyors of Democratic Socialism.  Those who are staunchly entrenched in the Marxist/Socialist philosophy are in control of the Party mechanisms and are driving the bus.  They have the singular objective of fundamentally transforming America into a socialist paradise.  Some of the traditional, more moderate liberals in the Party are beginning to realize that this agenda will swallow them up and eliminate their position and power.  However, they see no viable pathway to regain control of the Party.

If anyone was paying attention in the early and mid-1960’s they would have quickly realized that there was a hijacking underfoot and sought to use Martin Luther King, Jr. and the black community as useful tools in their objective.  Most failed to see that, and many still cannot embrace or admit that reality, but reality it is. 

The ultra-far left-liberals in the Democratic Party viewed blacks as useful and expendable foot soldiers for their cause.  They manipulated and beguiled them into believing they were the Party that truly cared about their plight.  If one researches the views of LBJ they would quickly realize that control was the objective not rectifying any perceived wrong.

The Uber Left have always viewed blacks and now Hispanics and any other ethnicity they can manipulate as people to be pitied, patted on the head, tossed an occasional bone, and used as their mascots.  They do not care about the needs of any of those groups. They care about power and control.  History reveals that it has been the Republican Party throughout our American history that has taken actions that have truly benefitted all ethnicities, not the Democrats.  But you never hear that from the media and will never hear it from the far-left activist professors in our institutions of higher learning.

Out of the civil rights and anti-establishment movements of the 1960’s came people such as Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn and others.  Those activists of the 1960’s became educators, politicians, and have been allowed to shape the minds of our youth for decades.  They have successfully produced generations of mind-numbed activists who follow their leaders like children and rats followed the Pied Piper. 

According to the liberals that I spoke to, there is growing trepidation in their ranks over the direction of their beloved party.  Those who love Big Government but want to maintain Capitalism and most of our freedoms are waking up to the reality that their party has been hijacked but the Far-Left Activist.  They are realizing that their future, position, place, and power is becoming endangered and they too will be swallowed up by the destruction of those now in control of the agenda. 

Academia is in bed with the Far Left and is the source of advancing that philosophy and ideology.  The entertainment community is joined at the hip with the Far-Left Socialist Communist agenda and ideology.  Those in the Old Democratic Party who would prefer a somewhat more moderate approach to government are realizing that the handwriting is on the wall and their days are numbered too.  Many of them believe, as do I, that it is too late for the Democratic Party to return to any semblance of moderation.

Here is one of my great concerns: They win the White House, keep the House, and reclaim the Senate in 2020.  I pray that will not happen and am cautiously optimistic about our chances of winning all three, yet I have concerns.  The RINOs within the Republican Party, the Never Trump Advocates, and the Liberal Activist are seemingly traveling the same path and that is cause for concern.  The RINOs and Never Trumpers want him defeated and believe that the Democratic damage or control would be temporary.  IT WILL NOT BE!  Remember the 8 years of Barack Obama?  We may never recover from the damage done to our system of government.

One of the liberals and former liberals said, “I hope Trump wins in a landslide in 2020 and the Republicans reclaim the House and keep the Senate.”  I was surprised at that declaration and he explained his reasoning.  He said, “If that happens there is hope that the Democratic Party will realize its own failure and those who want to move more to the center will regain influence and control of the Party mechanism.”  In a very real sense that would mean a divorce within the Party by the Far Left and the Left.  It would be bloody and could mean the end of the Party or its resurgence in a position more palatable to millions of voters who would see them as an alternative. 

If the Republicans would follow Trump’s lead, they could relegate the Ultra Liberal Leftism to the trash heap of history.  Will they do that?  They haven’t thus far, so there is little reason to believe they will become wiser in 2020.  Trump has the unique ability to talk to and resonate with people from all spectrums of life.  He can communicate with those in what is deemed ‘flyover’ America, those in the urban centers, the rich and the poor.  Why?  Because Trump is Trump and can be nothing else and that strikes a chord of hope in many hearts.  They believe he means it when He says, “America First.”  Those in the African American, Hispanic, and other ethnic communities are beginning to awaken and see that his policies have been better for them than the age-old Democratic offerings.

The Republican Party has the unique and possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity to redefine its message and perception among the working class in America.  If they seize this opportunity and follow the lead of the President, we can see a new era of conservatism, constitutionalism, and Americanism well into the foreseeable future.   Will that happen?  That depends on you and me.  Therefore, I ask that you join me and the millions like me in ensuring a win for Trump and the Republicans in 2020 and beyond.

A MAJOR REASON WE MUST DEFEAT THE LEFT…


There have been many reasons offered by those of us who value the Constitution, want to keep our Republic intact, and want to see a sane fiscal approach, and the reduction in size and scope of the federal government, to defeat the Leftists.  Let me offer one more, that to me is high on the list of reasons to vote no on the national Democrats.  That is our Judicial System and the Courts.

I am thrilled that President Trump has gotten through more judicial appointments than virtually any president in our history.  I am thrilled that he has had two appointments to the Supreme Court, 44 Circuit Court justices, and 112 District Court justices.  That is phenomenal but is it lasting?  Some have said, this will extend well into the future and stymie the Leftist agenda significantly.  That is partially true and is only true if we keep them out of power.

I am surprised at how many in the public and in Congress seem to demonstrate a lack of awareness of the Constitution and its provisions.  Having just endured three-plus years of 24/7/365 attacks against this president what would prevent the Democrats from totally revamping our court system if they could?  Before you say, they cannot, let me offer a small warning – YES, THEY CAN!  They can use the very document we treasure, the American Constitution.

We know that Congress has the power to impeach both the president and judges.  It is unfortunate that members of Congress are aware of their power to pack the Supreme Court by expansion and many in the public think that the SCOTUS is the president’s court to pack.  The President nominates, but Congress can expand the number of justices but a frightening power it wields is the power to abolish entire federal courts.

The only federal court-mandated by the Constitution is the Supreme Court but regarding the ‘inferior courts’, Article III states that Congress, “may from time to time ordain and establish” them, which it has done numerous times.  The implied portion of that authorization and power is that they can also ‘abolish them’.  Simply, they can expand or contract the number, size, scope, and jurisdiction of those lower courts.  They would need more than the House of Representatives to do that, but should we allow them to gain full control of our government they have demonstrated a willingness to do ‘whatever it takes’ to achieve their objective.  America be damned and their agenda established.

That is far more than a hypothetical, it has already been done in our history.  In our fledgling years, there was a concern that outgoing president John Adams would pack the judiciary with federalist.  The Jeffersonians acted in 1802 to repeal the Judiciary Act of 1801.  They abolished the courts the legislation had created and made no provision for the displaced jurists.  Never mind that the constitution affords them lifetime tenure, The Supreme Court failed to acknowledge that omission and a precedent was set, and the courts are too heavily invested in precedent from time to time.

There will likely be a time when the Democrats will, once again, have full control of our government.  When that happens, they will follow the precedent and pattern set by this cutthroat group of swamp denizens and follow the model of ‘the end justifies the means.’  They will never allow a group of judges to thwart their efforts if they can prevent it from happening. 

Let’s go back to the idea of Congress packing the Supreme Court.  Yes, the president nominates but the number of justices on that court is not mandated by the Constitution.  That number is statutorily set by Congress and in our history, the number has been than nine.  The danger is that a liberal leftists legislature could raise the number to ensure an ironclad liberal majority.  If they raised it to 15 and packed it with leftists, they would have a rubber stamp for all that they desire, and we would become their serfs with or without the chains.

That idea was floated by FDR and he sought to do just that.  It has been proposed by some in today’s Democratic hierarchy.  They see it as a sooner rather than later prospect and the only hindrance they have is regaining power.  The Republicans are not as prone to use the tactics of the toxic liberal leftists but maintaining control of the government is imperative if we are to keep America free and a Republic.

Imagine an America where the Supreme Court was in the pocket of the Liberal Leftists Socialist Globalists Democrats.  Our inalienable rights would be in jeopardy and the PC Police would rule with jackbooted tyrannical power.  It would push the Republic over the edge of the precipice of destruction and the only possible outcome would be submission or war and forced submission.

Both sides, use the courts to validate what they want to do and often indicate that there is somehow ‘judicial supremacy’. That is not a constitutionally guaranteed power and as Andrew Jackson famously said, “The judges have made their decision – now let them enforce it.”  They cannot and that tosses judicial supremacy out the window.  However, as a Republic that values the rule of law and the decision of the courts, it would and that would create an ominous for freedom and liberty.

Those in the Democratic ranks such as Talib, Omar, Ocasio-Cortez, and others would not hesitate to take those drastic measures to ensure their power and control.  They would eliminate any ‘inconvenient judicial rulings.’  They would immediately impeach Justice Kavanaugh and any other judge that they considered a threat to their agenda. 

If the Left wins back total control of our government, Congress, the White House, and the Courts we will be faced with a 10th Amendment issue and the individual states will have to act in defiance of federal edicts.  We would have no recourse but to engage in state-level nullification.  Thomas Jefferson believed that was a ‘rightful remedy’ for federal overreach.  It would probably plunge us into a full-blown revolution with guns, tanks, troops, and blood being shed in our cities and streets. 

I do not want that outcome.  I am committed to defeating the Democrats at every level possible and keeping the window of hope and opportunity open to the Republic.  I am committed to praying for our nation, our president, those elected to govern, our judges, and all Americans.  The Hope for America, in my view, is that GOD ALONE provides real hope for our continued survival as the Free Constitutional Republic given to us by the Founders.

THIS WAR IS NOT DEMOCRATS vs REPUBLICANS, It is Much Deeper…


America, we are at war politically in our nation.  It goes beyond a political coup to oust a president the opposition party does not like.  It goes beyond party labels.  It goes beyond liberal vs conservative, or right vs left.  It is a way between those who support the Constitution as it was written with its original intent, provisions, guidelines, and protections and those who want to strip it of its power and authority.  Although this may infuriate some, it is a war between Freedom and Tyranny and Good vs Evil.  You may disagree and I defend your right to do so, but that’s how I see it.

The constant usage of the labels ‘left vs right’, ‘conservative vs liberal’, or any of the other terms commonly used in today’s’ political debate is often confusing.  Frequently, it requires observation of the source of those terms or distinctions and to whom they are being applied to glean the meaning.  Many in the public are not invested deeply enough to quickly ascertain the purpose of the usage of those terms.  That is part of the problem and part of the plan to divide and conquer and fundamentally transform our Constitutional Republic into a nation diametrically opposite of what our Founders sought to ensure.

Some time back, I saw a reference in the Washington Post that applied the term ‘conservative’ to Barack Obama.  I laughed and then realized the probability of a deeply nefarious and destructive intent in doing so.  The former president is anything but a conservative even in the most liberal usage of that term.  He is a staunch big government advocate and squarely embedded in the liberal side of the political equation.  He is who he is and conservative he is not, has never been, nor will he ever be. 

There is a YouTube video in which Obama is heard saying, “I’m president and I can do whatever I want.”  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUhykHLjT6M  Of course, it needs to be put in proper context, but he said it and since Trump is taken out of context and misquoted saying, “I am president, I can do whatever I want” can we not put that on the table and ask the Democrats to defend it? 

From the time of the French Revolution, which began in 1787 and divided that nation for a decade or more, the political Left has always been those who advocate more government power and seek total control.  Those who want less government and more power in the hands of the people who want less government are identified as the political Right.  It is liberal vs conservative, but it goes far beyond that and if we only see this as a fight between Democrats and Republicans, we miss the big picture and the war is lost.

There are those like the “Squad” of new Democratic Socialists, members of the old Democratic Party like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren who advocate government providing for every need, want, and wish in life.  They believe that rights come from the government, not God.  They do not recognize any rights as being inalienable but bestowed as charitable offerings by the government.  They do not believe that we the people have the intelligence or right to govern ourselves, and theirs is a divine right (even though they do not believe in the divine) to rule us.  That ideology, agenda, and philosophy are becoming more pervasive among the adherents to the ideological view of the left.  It is destructive, dangerous, damaging, and will destroy our Constitutional Republic.

There are those on the Right, including the current president who believe that the American people are the rightful owners of the government.  They believe that the Constitution as originally written and in its original intent is to be the guide for our government.  The view held by those following the ideological view of less government is that the Constitution is a preventative tool designed to keep the government restrained and protect the people from those who would transform us into a tyrannical oligarchy or monarchy. 

It is a war between freedom and tyranny.  In that sense, it is a war between good and evil.  Please understand, I am not accusing every person who votes Democrat as being evil, but I believe the agenda of those shaping the platform, agenda, and pursuit of that party is evil.  I believe that much of the agenda frequently funded by people with devilishly evil intent such as George Soros is, at its core, evil and inspired by forces whose roots date back to the eviction of Lucifer from heaven. 

If we returned to operating as the truly Constitutional Republic there would be no federal involvement in education, energy, transportation, foreign aid, undeclared wars, and a myriad of other issues.  There would be no federal entitlement programs and the individual states would have their power and authority restored, thus returning the oversight and power of the government to you and me, the people.

The U.S. Constitution limits the federal government and specifies its powers and is, therefore, the best means of determining which side of the equation one finds themselves.  I am an American by birth, a Vietnam veteran, a legal citizen, a patriot, a Christian and an avid supporter of the Constitution.  The true test of which side a person is on in this American Internal War is the Constitution. 

Tragically, Congress and too often presidents ignore, confuse, misinterpret, or abuse the Constitution.  They overstep their Constitutional authority and damage the Separation of Powers clause and provision.  The 10th Amendment is incredibly important and, we the people of these United States of America must make our voices heard and demand a return to Constitutional governance by those in Washington.  That would mean respecting the 10th Amendment as well as the other amendments including the 1st, 2nd, and 4th. 

I agree with those who are now arguing that we should adopt a new test for politicians and policies.  We need to abandon the, often confusing, labels of ‘Left vs Right, Liberal vs Conservative, and Democrat vs Republican’ and turn to the Constitution.  The litmus question and test should be, “Is it constitutional or unconstitutional?”  Will the politician adhere to the Constitution or will he/she violate it?  The value of our Constitution is that it has provided us the framework of government that effectively separates the three branches and protected our freedoms.  We have enjoyed a beautiful system of ‘checks and balances’ and must return to the Constitution.

I truly believe that only as the corruption is fully exposed and those who have violated our trust and the constitution, as well as the law, are held accountable, do we have hope of restoring and preserving our Republic.  Mark Levin suggested that the next Democratic President must be treated the same was as Trump has been to prevent this type of destruction from continuing into perpetuity.  I disagree somewhat.  I believe that simply doing that will result in tit for tat and perpetuate this abuse and destroy us.  We need to hold legally and criminally accountable the violators and only as we totally uncover the corruption can we hope to see full restoration.  That will require an act of God!

I ask that every believer commit themselves to serious prayer for America, those charged with governing, and all Americans.  I ask that everyone consider the value and need of the Constitution in our Republic.

THE QUESTION – “How Can You, as A Christian, Vote for Trump?”


Before I pose a second question, let me say that I can, “With a Smile on my Face and Peace in My Heart!”  But let me ask a second question – “How Can You, as a Christian or lover of Freedom vote for anyone especially a Democrat and their agenda?”  I’m serious.  If we use the purity test that is being bandied about as the litmus test for presidents how did, we elect any of our previous dozen or so presidents?  Which of them passed the moral purity or character test being insisted upon by those on the Left, some on the Right, and those who detest Trump so much they’d vote for Lucifer himself were he on the ticket?  None of them could have passed the puritanical requirements being imposed on Donald Trump.

No, I do not view Trump as a highly moral man and I clearly see some character flaws in his makeup.  But then I saw moral flaws in Bill Clinton, Lyndon Johnson, John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, both Bushes, Ronald Reagan, and even the peanut farmer from Georgia.  All of them are human and all of them had or have character flaws and kinks in their armor.  I would have difficulty voting for myself under the requirements being advanced as mandatory today.  I have flaws.  You have flaws.  Those with the stones in their hands and those throwing them have flaws.  WHO DOESN’T?

I’ve been told that no believer should ever be willing to vote for the “lesser of two evils” but should stand on principles.  I like that as far as we can take it in politics.  I have often thought of the advice of William F. Buckley when he said, “We must vote for the most conservative candidate that can win.”  If I refuse to vote for that person because of personality or because of a perceived or verified moral failure, who do I vote for?  Which candidate on the Left does not have moral and character failings?  Which of them does not embrace ideological views and advance agendas that are anathema to both my faith and my desire to save America from tyranny, an elitist oligarchy or becoming a Socialist nation?  THEY ALL HAVE FLAWS!

The Left and those so deeply invested in their hatred for President Trump suggest that the Christians, especially evangelicals, simply refuse to vote.  Of course, they would love that approach because that would leave the pathway to control totally open.  It would mean no candidate other than a Leftist would ever win a national election.  Their response would be to elect someone with incredibly bad character.  Is that what we should do?  I cannot and will not take that pathway.  It would be sure and certain destruction.

Before you blast me for voting for Trump, I suggest that you ask yourself how you can justify voting for someone like Chris Cuomo who signed a bill allowing prenatal infanticide ‘up to birth’?  I refer you to Jeremiah 1:5 for my answer, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.”  What do you do with that reality?  God considers that baby in the womb a living human being, how can we do less? 

The Liberal Left has used the liberal jurists in our courts to impose on us transgenderism and transgender bathrooms.  How is that moral and saintly?  How is it safe for our children?  How can that be acceptable but Trump’s tweets and moral failings not?  The Bible declares in Genesis 5:2 that God created us “male and female.”  Two genders not 97 or 600 or whatever the number is.  I cringed when Nancy Pelosi insisted that she prays for the president all the time.  I cringed because of her expressed hate from him and the fact that she did not specify what she prays.

I have and will support the president because in the face of incredible opposition and resistance he has achieved some great things for America.  I am not happy that he signed a $1.4 Trillion spending bill.  I am not thrilled that he has not demonstrated a greater boldness and strength in opposing the sexual devolution in America.  But, overall, he has fought for that which I believe whereas the alternatives on the Left oppose and threaten everything I believe in.  Therefore, to answer the question “How can I, as a Christian, vote for Trump?”  I say, “With a clear conscience and a deep love for America!  I see the alternative and know it means certain destruction.”

If we determine that we must hold all presidents to the behavioral standards of the Levitical priesthood we would have no president survive even one term in office.  Every one of them would be impeached, tried and convicted resulting in their being ousted from office. 

I find it somewhat ironic that the Democrats now love Thomas Jefferson but just a short time ago they removed his statues and stripped his name from the halls of the University of Virginia.  Convenience determines what and who they support.  They hated the Constitution as too restrictive, outdated, and archaic before their push to impeach Trump and now claim to be defenders of this precious document.  I can call that what it is, hypocrisy.

The assault on the president and all of us who voted for him is incredibly transparent.  The Democrats have pursued a threadbare case that began before his inauguration.  The Ukraine phone call offers no support for their case and their charges are refuted by the Ukrainian president and the transcript.  The hearsay witnesses who all spoke out of opinion and personal animus toward the president is insufficient to build a case but built it they have on fiction. 

Those who insist that as a Christian I surely should support a man like the president seem to be ignorant of some important revelations from the Bible.  God, as revealed in the Bible, used some morally deficient people to advance His cause and bless His people.  He used the Zoroaster-worshipping Persian King Cyrus.  Cyrus helped Nehemiah and Ezra rebuild Jerusalem. 

How about the man God said was a man after his own heart, David?  David was an incredibly wonderful king for Israel although he demonstrated moral failings that are incredible.  He had the husband of Bathsheba killed in battle to hide his adulterous liaison.  The prostitute Rahab assisted the Israelites to capture Jericho and she was the mother of Boaz from which came Jesus Himself.

I heard someone respond to the criticism of Christians voting for Trump in a powerful manner.  He said, “Can I support president Trump unabashedly and maintain my faith, absolutely!  I know that the battle for civilization is fought both on the political and cultural levels and what we want politically must first be palatable culturally. Therefore, to improve civilization, the culture more than the Commander-in-Chief must be changed.” 

Trump is not my pastor, I would never vote for him to be.  He is not my spiritual guide, God is through His Word and the Holy Spirit.  I love America and want to keep this nation the Free Constitutional Republic established by our Founders and to do that I must “vote for the most conservative candidate that can win.”  That is my objective and intent.  Not one candidate on the Left offers any semblance of conservativism and virtually all of them have signed on to the Democratic position of ‘banning God’ from all things public.

THE CURRENT LEFTIST VIEW – “We Don’t Need No Separation Powers.”


Our Founders and the Framers of our American Constitution carefully constructed a system of government where there would be three distinct and separate branches of government.  Those three, the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches were supposed to serve as ‘checks and balances’ and none of them were to be lords of the other two.  That appears to be an antiquated philosophy today.

It appears that the House of Representatives no longer views themselves as a part of one leg of the three-legged stool of government, but the seat.  Well, it might be more accurate to say that the Democrats, when they have power, do not believe in ‘separation of powers.’  Rather, it appears that they believe they are the head and the other branches are legs of the stool designed to do their bidding and succumb to their wishes and demands.  You may disagree, but that is what I see.

When the Republicans are in control of Congress the Democrats want ‘separation of powers’, especially if they control the Executive Branch.  In today’s Congress or in the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives, they seem to believe that there is no such thing as Executive Privilege or Executive Power.  They believe they and they alone decide what the president can or cannot do.  If he does not toe their line, he is deemed to have ‘obstructed Congress’ and therefore must be removed.  How dare any president or any person not bow to their demands and align themselves with their agenda?  That is, to them, an unpardonable sin. 

Trump’s first sin was defeating Hillary Clinton.  His subsequent sins have been to take steps to drain the swamp, dismantle and expose the deep state, and repeal the suffocating restrictions and edicts of Obama and the Democrats.  Those are also unpardonable. 

There has never been a President that did not, in some measure, overstep his Executive Authority in the pursuit of his agenda.  Likewise, there has never been a Congress that did not also overstep theirs.  That is the nature of the game in politics and that is where the third leg of the triad of government comes into play.  Today’s Democrats, in control of the House of Representatives, do not trust the courts to rule in their favor and fear they might follow the law and the constitution, therefore they pursue a never-ending hunt for their ‘Red October’ or cause to Impeach and attempt to remove the president.

The purpose of serving in Congress is supposed to be in order to ‘serve the people’ and do the business of governing.  Even before the 2016 election, the Democrats were looking for ways to ‘Stop Trump’ and once he was elected to ‘Oust Trump.’  They did not like the outcome of the election and the decision of ‘We the People’ so they shifted their focus from governance and doing the people’s business to destroying Trump.  That is an affront to our system of government and to every American citizen.  Sadly, millions like what they have been doing and are in lockstep with them in the endless quest to destroy this president.

Who wins in this dangerous endeavor?  Nobody! Who loses?  Everybody!  The Left loses and the Right loses even if it appears one side wins because the business of America has been left dangling in the wind for over three years and that is an insult to our Constitution, our Founders, and our Republic.  We must not leave this unaddressed or unpunished.  There must be accountability for this failure to ‘do their jobs’ and we must replace as many of the perpetrators as possible in November.

I do not mind someone, not liking the outcome of an election.  I did not like the outcome of the previous two and considered them bad for America.  I did not want the Republicans to engage in a never-ending witch hunt to find something on the former president.  They found plenty without looking and were unwilling to address those violations of his scope and power as the head of the Executive Branch of our government.  I blame them as much as him for their failure to hold him accountable. 

The Democrats have taken a completely different approach and the members of the House of Representatives seem to have lost sight of their purpose.  They are Representatives of the People, well they are supposed to be.  They are our representatives and are supposed to do our bidding for the betterment of America.  They are supposed to attend to the business of governing and keeping us safe.  They are not America’s Law Enforcement Arm, they are to deal with the needs of the nation in infrastructure, national security, and the things defined in the constitution.  This group has abandoned that view and have focused their total energy and our money on ‘Getting and Destroying Donald J. Trump.’

The House of Representatives is supposed to be the people’s voice in government. The Senate was initially designed to be the voice of the individual states in government.  Sadly, that changed with the 17th Amendment and the Senate became a secondary voice of the state as they were henceforth elected by popular vote. 

The Executive Branch is supposed to be the administrator of the government and commissioned with enforcing the laws passed by Congress.  The president oversees about 5 million workers in various branches of the government.  The House of Representatives is comprised of 435 Representatives, proportionally selected by the population of the various states.  The Senate is 100 members, two from each state.  Then we have the Judicial who are supposed to be unbiased and impartial focusing on and following the Constitution and the Law explicitly. 

I, as an American citizen, a patriot, and Vietnam Veteran, am insulted by what is happening in our government.  No, I am incensed over the abject abandonment of their purpose and assigned responsibilities.  I am sick of the superfluous diatribe and inane rhetoric that is being spewed forth today, insisting that even though our economy is doing great, it cannot be embraced because a bad man engineered it.  I am disgusted with the insistence that Trump is too dangerous to wait for another election to decide his fate and that of the nation.  We have endured over three-years of allegations, investigations, fabrications, and illegalities in the name of finding his impeachable violations.  There have been none that would stand up in a court of law.

The insistence that the Senate is not being impartial and bipartisan implying that it is other than what the House did is beyond laughable it is lamentable and diabolical.  The projectionism being employed by the Left should be an insult to every American because it suggests we are all too dumb to know the truth and too dumb to think for ourselves, therefore they must do it for us.

I am praying for God to pull the lid off all the corruption in our government and expose every rat for what he or she is.  I am praying for an awakening in the American people and that we will demand a return to the original intent of our Founders and have three clearly defined and separate branches of government.  I am praying for a return to moral sanity in America.  I am praying for America, not just that God will protect the president but that He will pour out His Spirit and Love on this nation and we return to the condition where we are “One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”  I pray that we return to recognizing that we have certain inalienable rights given by our Creator not government.  I pray for America to be the America of our Founding again!
