PROTECT AND DEFEND or SHRED AND RESCIND?


That’s my question for the Democrats, the Republicans, the Independents, the Libertarians, and all others in politics today.  Which is truly your objective regarding the Constitution, protecting and defending or shredding and rescinding?  I am not interested in the rhetoric of politicians because too frequently their words and deeds do not properly or logically align.  Therefore, I ask every politician to respect the American people and tell us the truth, if that is possible considering your Political DNA.

There are a million things we could address to illustrate why that question needs to be asked, but let’s address one item and if time and space permit others. Nancy Pelosi has argued that “Impeaching Trump” was worth losing the House of Representatives over.  I do not believe she believes that will happen to them but wanted to sound like a defender of the Republic.

In my view, she was attempting to appear to the voters as one being deeply concerned about the Constitution and Rule of Law. However, she and the Democrats have trampled on those principles and that document so extensively her assertions are laughable. Her assertions are so ludicrous (how much they care) that no rational human being should take her seriously.  She and they are hoping to sway enough voters to their side of the electoral ledger to win in 2020 not out of genuine concern for the Constitution, America, or the Rule of Law.  It is still about Power and Reversing an Election they did not like of a candidate they detest. 

But Impeachment is not the topic I wish to use to address and attempt to articulate my concerns over. I want to address the attitude of politicians of all stripes regarding our Republic and our Constitution.  Each of them took an oath to ‘Protect and Defend’ that document.  Yet, some of those taking that oath is openly in opposition to it and want it ignored, shredded, or rescinded.  I state that based on their own words and the agendas they are advancing.  If you respect and honor the American Constitution, why pursue agendas that are in direct contradiction of it? 

Two of the three leading Democratic hopefuls, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are both hinging their campaigns, in a great measure, on what is called a “Wealth Tax.”  They are both wealthy and know that they will escape the crunch of any taxes they impose but that is not my issue.  They are seeking to engender sympathy for their cause by preying on and playing on the jealousy, envy, greed, and anger of those not wealthy.  They are hoping to endear themselves to those who do not have a mountain of cash and fan the flames of the thirst for punishing the rich and making them pay. 

I have long wondered if a “Federal Wealth Tax” is constitutional.  Since, I believe that many of the taxes imposed including the ‘income tax’ is not, I’m sure that you know where I stand on that issue.  Let me walkthrough, as best I can or as briefly as I can, their proposals and try to bring Constitutional Light on the matter allowing you to make your own decision.

Senator Warren the Democratic Senator from Massachusetts has advanced a proposal and plan to impose a 2% tax on individuals worth more than $50 Million, and 3% on Billionaires.  Before you argue that is not much, let’s dig a little deeper.  Is it Constitutional?  It doesn’t matter if it is a low percentage, above and beyond what they already pay in taxes, if it is not Constitutional then it is not Constitutional!  End of Story!  Two prominent law scholars wrote letters stating that their legal view is that it violates the Constitution to seek to create what is being called the “Ultra-Millionaire Tax.”

Senator Bernie Sanders the ‘Independent’ from Vermont has tried to coerce economists to back his plan that advanced a 1% tax on married couples worth $32 Million.  His tax plan included a progression to 8% on wealth over $10 Billion.  Again, you may say, “But that is not a large percentage on such wealth.”  But, is it Constitutional? 

Under the Constitution, Congress has the power to impose direct taxes under the rule of apportionment.  That was to ensure impartial federal treatment of states by requiring the government to levy taxes in a manner that affords an equal amount collected in each state.  Does this do that?  That authority to tax originated in the ‘compromise’ between the slave-holding states and the non-slave holding states.  This was designed to prevent the North from imposing a ‘head tax’ on slaves because that could not be apportioned equally across all states.

The 16th Amendment opens the door to what is viewed as a bypass of the apportionment requirement.  That means that Congress, under that view, would no longer have to ensure equal treatment if the direct tax is an “Income Tax.”  Nice way to rescind the Constitution and violate the Intent of our predecessors, but that’s where we are.

But is a ‘Wealth Tax’ an ‘Income Tax’?  That’s where the rub comes for many legal scholars.  It would appear that in most cases it would be a ‘direct tax’ not an ‘income tax’ and require apportionment, making it Unconstitutional.  It has been suggested that Congress will attempt to side-step the Constitution and the apportionment required by writing the law in such a manner as to make this an income tax.  How?  They will add a provision in the current tax code to “tax assumed fixed annual return from the measurement of household wealth.”  Assumed? More legal mumbo jumbo to confuse and allow them to shred the Constitution. 

If this transpired before the Democrats could pack the Supreme Court, it would likely be a 5-4 vote with Chief Justice John Roberts being the deciding vote.  Do you trust him?  I do not!

If we recall the Obamacare debacle and how the Supreme Court lead by Roberts imposed a ‘tax’ on citizens without following the apportionment, you see the danger.  They relied heavily on the 1796 (Hylton v. United States) decision that ultimately found a tax on carriages was not a direct tax and therefore did not violate the Constitution.  Under that hypothetical tax, the tax rate in the State of Virginia would have to be 10 times higher than that in the State of New York because New York had 10 times more carriages per capita than Virginia.  They took the stance that any tax that is not reasonably apportioned is not a direct tax.  How’s that for virtually rewriting the Constitution to whatever you want it to be?

A law professor from the University of Texas, Calvin Johnson argues in favor of the “Ultra-Wealth Tax” of Sanders and Warren.  He has stated, “Apportionment is part of a rational scheme to apportion taxes to reach wealth, and if the apportionment does not function that way, its range ends and the tax is not ‘direct tax’.” 

Wow, I guess that means, go ahead Congress and Supreme Court shred and rescind the Constitution because what you are attempting to do cannot be enacted in equal apportionment.  That opens the door for the imposition of any tax they desire and allows them to confiscate our money and after that who knows what.   I not only oppose the Plan because it is wrong, unconstitutional, violates the intent of our Founders and predecessors, but it will damage our economy and cause more money to leave our shores rather than fill the federal coffers.  Please reject the Leftists in November 2020.

THE PURGE…


For those who believe that anyone who says that the “Left is at war with family values, Christianity, conservatism, the Constitution, Free Market Capitalism, and the Republic as established by our founders” is a Conspiracist, I protest!  I believe that if anyone honestly considers the agenda, the rhetoric, the actions of Obama and going back to LBJ and denies that there is an attempted Purge by the Democrats, you are engaging in willful blindness.  Now, that I have stirred up the hornet’s nest of Political Correctness and set off the alarms in the PC Police Headquarters, let me continue.

The Democrats have, for almost 4-years, attempted to paint Donald J. Trump as a “Mafia Boss” and his family a crime family.  Imagine that, a crime family, when the likes of the Clinton Family, the Obama Family, the Biden Family, the Cummings Family, the Waters Family, the Pelosi Family, the Feinstein Family, and countless other Democrats have and are engaging in shady dealings if not illegal activity.  But that is the modus operandi of the Left.  The Left projects on the Right what they are, have and will do if given the opportunity.

The Media, Academia, Hollywood, and the national Democrats have openly engaged in actions and advanced agendas that clearly reveal that Christianity, Conservatism, Constitutionalism, Capitalism, and Patriotism are all anathema to them.  I recall clearly the Democrats voting God out of the national platform and even booing Him at their convention. 

They have made a god out of abortion and worship at the shrine of liberalism even when that worship damages the Republic.  It is their way or the highway and if you object you immediately become a racist, xenophobe, misogynist or some suffer from some other phobia.  They play those cards rather than engage in factual intellectual discussion. 

They have moved from our judicial staple of “innocent until proven guilty” to “guilty even if you prove your innocence” when it comes to anyone on the opposing side of the issue.  They also follow the idea that any Democrat, unless deemed expendable is “Innocent even if proven guilty.” 

If you cannot see the earmarks of a Purge you must not be seeing what is happening and are what Rush Limbaugh has termed, a “low information voter.”  Facts are stubborn things and while I do not defend the Right on some issues because they too are wrong, at times. However, the Right is not waging war on our Freedom of Speech, the Right to Life, the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, and our other Inalienable Rights.  The actions of the Left look like a Purge!

There needs to be a Purge in Washington, DC.  That goes without saying, but the Purge is not those of us who disagree with the Left or even many on the Left who disagree with us on the Right.  No, the Purge needs to come within Congress, the Courts, the Intelligence Community, the Bureaucracy, Academia, and the Press.  We need a Purge and that Purge needs to be expansive and enacted speedily! 

When the Democrats can defend the violence of ANTIFA and various groups that beat down people who openly support the President such as attending a Trump rally or wearing a MAGA hat, my concern grows.  When those in Academia, Hollywood, the Media, Politics, and elsewhere can insist that those attacking Conservatives and Trump supporters are exhibiting ‘justified anger’, my concern grows.  When Colleges and Universities, as well as Public Schools, can silence anyone and anything Conservative but allow open access to the other side, my concern grows.

The Purge was exemplified under Barack Obama when he insisted that Islam be defended while attacking Christianity.  The oddity of that was he claimed to be a Christian, but then, a significant number of nationally know ministers agree with him. 

Obama equated the Crusades as the real picture of Christianity rather than a period in history.  He ignored the clear teaching of Islam that call for murder, assignation, rape, incest, and other dire actions for anyone not agreeing with there doctrine.  He ignored the clear teachings of the Bible and reports are that he became infuriated if anyone in his White House spoke negatively of any Islamist.

His Attorney General Loretta Lynch, threatened to prosecute anyone speaking negatively of Islam.  He refused to call the terrorist Islamic Terrorist and shifted from calling a particular brand of terrorist ISIS to ISIL.  He demonstrated his dislike for Israel and especially Benjamin Netanyahu seeking to force Israel to place herself in an untenable position with the Palestinians.  On the other hand, he funneled large sums of cash and aid to terrorist or terrorist-sponsoring nations such as Iran.  He quickly condemned the police and all on the Right without facts simply based on the skin color of the perpetrators of whatever crime had transpired.

We have witnessed pressure on TV Programs to become interracial, include homosexual couples, and have pro-abortion messages or be forced off the air.  We have seen the targeting of sports teams, churches, and conservative businesses if they do not openly embrace the agenda of the Left.  They encourage boycotts but if anyone on the Right seeks to engage in push-back, they attempt to bring the full force and weight of government and regulatory arms of government down on those people or businesses.  That smacks of a Purge and a War!

Progressive educators have, for decades, been seeking to brainwash the pliable minds of the young.  We have seen the rewriting of our textbooks, the purging and sanitizing of our history because someone on the Left found it offensive.  When you have generations of people who have never been taught the truth and facts, they assume that whatever their instructors are telling them is ‘law and gospel.’ 

The Global Warming Activist has launched a worldwide effort to ban all fossil fuels regardless of the lack of evidence as to any damage coming from them.  Irrespective of the loss of jobs, the destruction of lives and families, and the crippling of our economy they push forward.  They call it ‘settled science’ when the science they quote is anything but settled and often based on computer-generated models.  Models are only as good as the algorithms or input by the programmers.  That is far from settled science.  They disregard God in everything. 

Our President and our Republic need our prayers and support.  I am asking you seriously and earnestly pray for him and the nation.  We are facing a critical juncture and crossroads in our nation in 2020.  If we lose this election, we will witness the exponential advancement of liberal destruction.  We may never recover, and I believe will not recover short of a miracle of God.

AMERICA, WHAT HAPPENED?


How did we reach the place in our beloved America where partisan politics, ideological differences, and personality clashes divided have us irrevocably? How did it happen?  Why did it happen?  Is there anything that can be done to rectify the situation?  Questions that need answers.

I’m not sure I can answer the first question of how, but I do believe I know much of the why.  As to the third question, I’m not sure that anything short of a divine intervention can cure what ails America and Americans today.  That may sound as if I am throwing in the towel and giving up, be assured I am not!  I cannot and will not give up for multiple reasons. 

I am committed to fighting for Faith, Family, and Freedom and America as long as I draw breath.  I am committed to fighting for my Faith in God.  I am committed to fighting for Freedom because of my love for America.  I am committed to fighting for Freedom in the interest of my children, grandchildren, and all of humanity.  If we quit all is lost but if we continue even against all odds, there remains hope and I will remain hopeful.

I am disturbed by those who call themselves conservatives, Constitutionalist and Patriots who are so adamantly filled with hate for the current president they are willing to facilitate a Democrat victory.  It is one thing to be unwilling to vote for a candidate but to vote for the other side is unconscionable to me. One can argue that are standing on principle to oppose a candidate and that is fine. However, that argument and assertion falls by the wayside if they then vote for a candidate on the other side that embraces everything their principles oppose.

The position and condition of those mentioned disturb me as much, if not more than the devoted leftists who follow the marching orders of liberalism and the blindness embodied in that ideological position.  What caused this mindset?  What prompted their full-blown hate? 

I know that I will be called names by some who are convinced that Trump is Lucifer incarnate and the epitome of ultimate evil.  I will be called a Trump Cultists, a minion, a Trump-bot, or some other name because I question their hate, but I do.  I am not a worshipper of any man, including President Donald J. Trump.  I worship God alone and not man, money, or power.

I do question the president when I believe he is wrong and taking a direction that is bad or unwise for America.  There are times when I cringe, at his verbiage and way of handling certain situations.  However, when I look at the big picture, which is vital, I ask myself a number of questions. The answers to those questions solidify my willingness to vote against the Leftist.

We need to ask ourselves are we better off now than we were under Barack H. Obama?  Would we be better off if Hillary Clinton was in the White House?  Is the direction of the economy, border security, national security, and the defense of our freedoms and liberties more protected or less protected than under Obama or would be if we allowed the implementation of the the agenda of the Democrats?  Are the courts becoming more constitutional or less?  Is the Constitution being defended and protected better than it was under Obama or in the agenda of the Democrats?  I think you know my answer and hopefully, you came to the same conclusions.

I refuse to allow personality to be the deciding factor in who I vote for to be the President of this Republic.  If I did, I would have refused to vote in many of the previous elections, not liking either side’s candidate.  However, I always endeavor to carefully consider how can we best survive and even hope to thrive?  Which candidate will better facilitate the advancement and progress toward the betterment of the Republic and best position her to remain strong and free?  I have yet to find a Democrat that I could give that recognition to, therefore, I vote against them as much as voting for the other candidate in many elections.

The blinders of those following the toxicity of liberalism, the media, Hollywood, virtually all the national Democrats in Washington, many of Academia, and other groups is alarming.  The media’s hypocrisy in the Ukraine imbroglio is beyond belief.  They ignore Biden, Clinton, and Democrats and seek to destroy Trump with fallacious charges emboldened by emotion. 

The media and all those aforementioned groups ignored Obama’s pledge to Putin that he would be more ‘flexible’ after his second election and try to destroy Trump with a falsified dossier and Russian collusion charges.  Obama obstructed justice on numerous occasions and Hillary violated the law repeatedly as Secretary of State but when Trump does his job, he is an evil villain. 

Obama gave kickbacks to unions, used taxpayer funds to reward political contributors such as Solyndra, and the Clinton’s amassed huge piles of cash from foreign governments through the family foundation.  Russia received Uranium for their generosity.  Obama funneled over $1 Billion of our tax dollars to Iran which helped them continue their terrorism and drug smuggling operations worldwide. 

Those are only the tip of the iceberg of political scandals by the Democrats and how anyone with a hint of love for America and belief in moral sanity could be willing to allow them back in power is beyond me. 

Call me whatever makes you feel good about yourself because of my opposition to the Left and my support for the President.  Accuse me of abandoning my convictions, my principles, my faith if that makes you feel more pious.  Accuse me of being a mindless puppet of Trump, a cultist, a bot with no mind, a minion if it makes you feel more knowledgeable and patriotic.  I am fighting for Faith, Family, and Freedom in the best way I know how and through what I believe in my heart. 

I believe that America’s survival depends on defeating the toxicity of liberalism being advanced by the Left.  I believe that America’s future will be defined and determined by whether we defeat the Socialist or not.  I see no way of defeating them if we do not unite and stand behind the President in 2020.  Yes, he is a flawed candidate with ‘kinks in his armor’ but which of us are not flawed and don’t have a few ‘kinks in our armor?’  He who is without sin let him cast the first stone. 

We are fighting for America and this is not a personality contest it is a fight for survival.  So, I ask you to lay aside your personality preferences and consider what is at stake.  Vote No on the Liberal Leftists in 2020, Please!

I WISH IT WERE ONLY A DOUBLE STANDARD, BUT…


Wish what, Roy?  That the media, the donkeys, the liberals, the Leftists, the Socialists that make up the new Democratic party or maybe not so new were only being duplicitous in the ‘double standard.’  What?  More than duplicitous?  Yes, it is diabolical, at least those leading the charge are driven by forces beyond the human realm.  No, I am not looking for a demon under every rock or in every political candidate, but what I see is far beyond a simple ‘double standard’ it is malicious evil. 

Their refusal to accept the 2016 election of Donald John Trump as the 45th President of these United States unveiled the depth of their duplicitousness and dishonesty.  It revealed the depth of their depravity and their disrespect for the Constitution and our System of Government.  It revealed their true colors in a way that even a blind man could see them as more than mere hypocrites but instruments of destruction.  Yes, that is a strong opinion, but one that I believe is factually verifiable.

If the Democrats in Congress, the Media, Hollywood, and other agencies of our Government had not been on a non-stop assault against President Trump for over three years, I might give some of their allegations more serious consideration.  But, since they have been on what can only be viewed as a coup and a witch hunt, I view their charges with a ‘ho-hum’ attitude and see them as ‘sour grapes’.  Their antics and action cannot be explained by simply calling hypocritical.  The destruction in the fruit of their plantings and rantings is diabolical.

There is clear evidence of a “Trump Derangement Syndrome” existing in the Democrats and far too many who identify as conservatives and constitutionalists.  No, not ‘Derangement in Trump’ but in those who hate him.  He occupies their thoughts 24/7/365 and their quest to destroy him knows no bounds.  I found virtually everything about Barack Obama’s character and politics disgusting.  But I refused to allow him to occupy my mind every waking moment.  I refused, to deny that he won the election.  I did not say there was no fraud or illegalities, but it happened, and I dealt with it not once but twice for eight very long years.  That is not the case with the afflicted with “TDS”.

If Trump does or says anything and I mean A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G the Democrats go berserk.  If he does something that their party or Obama got praised for, he is evil, and they are righteous.  They were for building a wall on the southern border until he became president.  They were for pulling out of the Middle-East until he took a small body of troops out of Syria.  It does not matter what he says or does, they are committed to hating it, decrying it, and fighting it. 

When the Democrats take a position against Trump and offer some of the same criticisms the Republicans issued against Obama the media praises them.  But, when Trump issues a statement about any Democrat or any Democratic Policy he must be branded a fool, a racist, and an eternal miscreant.  The Democrats are called ‘brave’ for their attacks and Republicans were racists in theirs.  The same criticisms but one considered brave and honorable and the other is diabolical, racist, and bigoted.  I wish I could call that mere hypocrisy, but I believe it goes to the condition of the heart and soul and not just some political jockeying.

When former Arizona Governor Jan Brewer stuck her finger in the face of Barack Obama she was vilified as being rude and racist.  But, when Nancy Pelosi sticks her finger in the face of Donald Trump, she is called brave, honorable, and a fighter for America and Freedom.  Someone said, “If it weren’t for double standards, the media wouldn’t have any standards at all.”  That is true also for the Democrats in Washington.

The systematic and orchestrated disruption and division of our nation that is being pushed by the Democrats and organizations such as those funded and founded by George Soros is more than hypocritical it is diabolical.  I wish I could say that their political positions, agendas, and proposals were simply misguided views.  I cannot, because I see some of them so destructive and beyond the scope of human reason, I can only presume they came from a source far more diabolical and devious than any human mind could formulate. 

You may find the inclusion of the demonic and hellish influence in my argument objectionable and that is your choice.  I am a Christian.  I believe in the Bible.  I believe God is real and so is the ultimate evil, Lucifer himself, the devil.  I believe that the enemy of man’s soul, the devil, would like nothing better than to destroy America.  Why?  One of the reasons is the Freedom of Expression and our ability to advance the Gospel Freely.  Democrats such as Robert Frances O’Rourke, who says what he thinks and what the rest of them believe, would destroy our Religious Freedom and seen Christians into the shadows.  That cannot be attributed to hypocrisy but something far more sinister.

I am praying for America and deeply concerned that on a national level too many Christians and Preachers have been deceived and are unable or unwilling to stand against the evil that is pervasive today.  I am praying for a renewal of moral principles, a restoration of the traditional family and parental authority and responsibility.  I am praying for America to remain the Free Constitutional Republic we were given over 240 years ago.  I am praying for civility and sanity to find a rebirth in the hearts of all Americans and the ability and willingness to listen to each other restored.  I am praying for God’s Mercy!

I believe that many on the Left, the rank and file, also love America.  I believe that many of them love God and want America to be the best she can be.  I also believe they are misguided, mistaken, misinformed, and have fallen prey to the diabolical scheme of evil that is being given power.  May we wake up before we lose the Republic and everyone on both sides of the aisle suffers.

IF IGNORANCE IS BLISS…


If Ignorance is Bliss the millions of Americans should be in a state of complete euphoria.  On the other hand, millions more should be in a state of deep melancholy.  Why?  Because there are apparently millions who are totally ignorant politically and the other group reasonably astute on what is happening.  That creates a condition that is a recipe for disaster politically and causes incredible trepidation in me.

Modern Progressives determined over 100 years ago that the government was not an entity to be feared but empowered.  They adopted the view that the government through laws, edicts, regulations, taxation, and enforcement could bring about societal utopia.  They tossed the fears of our Founding Fathers onto the trash heap and no longer feared the government but made it their god. 

Our first president referred to the government as a “dangerous servant and a fearful master.”  Thomas Jefferson a key figure in the writing of the Declaration of Independence and the implementation of our system of government argued that “we cannot trust the government but should bind it chains of the Constitution.”  Those concerns and fears the men who instituted our system of government held, have been rejected summarily by the liberal leftist of the Progressive Socialist Globalist Democratic Party.  They have become the chief purveyors of political ignorance, misinformation, and false information for a century. 

I have seen polls, watched interviews, and talked to people about politics and life, and am continually amazed at how many people have no clue who their elected officials are.  I can somewhat excuse that when it comes to some low-level obscure local positions but not State or Federal Government Officials.  That is both a sign of ignorance and lack of interest.  Both have created the condition we find ourselves in today.  We have, far too long, allowed the politicians to handle the politics with no accountability and oversight.  That must end!

If you don’t know who the politicians are, how could you possibly know how they are governing?  How would you make an informed decision about who to vote for or against in any election?  Yet, that is what happens every time there is a national and sometimes in statewide elections. 

A group called “StudyFinds”, (I am not completely sure who they are), conducted a survey and reported that of the 346 adults they interviewed only 42% could identify their Representative in Congress.  An even greater percentage, 71% were able to identify their governor but less than half could recognize him or her if they saw them. 

Not to pick on California or Californians but they found that Californians were more likely to be able to identify a photo of the Seinfeld character Larry David or Kiefer Sutherland (who plays the president on a TV show) than they could, Governor Gavin Newsom.  About a third knew who he was from a photo and 40% knew Sutherland in a photo and 35% correctly identified Larry David.  Amazing but I’m sure it is far-reaching into every state.

The survey indicated that the ages of the poll respondents produced significantly different levels of political knowledge.  I attribute that to interests of the individuals, educational dumbing down politically, the MSM, and Hollywood.  However, those 18-29 were significantly more ignorant than those in older groups.  Only 56% of that group could properly identify their State Governor.  In the 30-45 age group, about 68% could perform that task.  Those older than 45 came in at about 78%.  However, the study broke the survey into men and women and ladies don’t kill the messenger but 76% of the men could identify their governor while only 66% of the women could.  That too is interesting.

This may be deemed sexist by some, but are men more political than women?  There are a significant number of women in Congress and some of them incredibly intelligent.  Of course, we have the most visible, who represents the other end of the spectrum too. 

I personally do not believe that result is one due to intelligence but focus.  I know many women who are incredibly more intelligent than some men.  I had a woman tell me, “Women are more than a pretty face and a good figure.”  I agree!  My wife is very pleasant on the eyes but is extremely intelligent and perceptive.  But it can be problematic if women don’t know who the current officials are because elections need to be the result of vetting, prayerful consideration, and history.

We are seeing more and more proposals to allow 16-year-old children to vote in our elections and some want an even lower age.  That is troubling, especially considering this survey and my own personal research.  We deem those children incapable of managing their own lives yet we think they are mature enough to choose the direction of the nation?  That is beyond ignorant and if “Ignorance is Bliss that must produce a Rocky Mountain High of Euphoria.” 

We cannot allow ‘whims’ to determine who wins elections or what laws are passed and agendas advanced.  Our government must be decided by careful and thoughtful deliberation and consideration.  We must weigh as many factors into the equation as we possibly can.  We must seek to determine the best good for the entire nation, not the whimsical choice and desire of some select group.  We must NEVER allow America to become a Majority Rule Democracy of Grecian Style.  We are a Representative Republic and our Constitution must be followed explicitly. 

We must protect and defend and ensure that our inalienable and constitutional rights remain intact.  We cannot allow our 1st, 2nd, 4th Amendment Rights be stolen from us.  We must protect Private Property and never allow the whims of the many to decide what happens to that which belongs to individuals and that is All Property of Individuals.  We must never allow our wealth, regardless of how large or small that is, to be taken from us for redistribution as the government deems appropriate.  Just because the majority is overcome with greed and envy does not make that action morally right or just. 

It is imperative that we teach the coming generations political truth and give them a clear understanding of how our system operates as well as how it was designed to operate.  We must hold educators accountable who do not teach history but revise it to their ideological liking.  Parents and Grandparents, it is up to us to teach our children and grandchildren, the government will not, education will not, the Media will not, and Hollywood is devoid of the intelligence or moral fiber to do so.  It is our responsibility, so let’s do our jobs and save the Republic for future generations.

This is another of the many reasons that I will vote to reject the Democrats in November 2020.  That is why I will cast my ballot for the Republic in the best way I know and, in a manner, to have the greatest possibility of stopping the Leftists who seek to ‘fundamentally transform’ America.  I want the America we have had and can have again to be restored to her former level of greatness and made even greater.

IT IS A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD and WEIRD WORLD IN POLITICS…


I remember reading a statement by William Buckley that he would rather be governed by the first 2,000 people in the Boston phone book than the entire Harvard faculty.  After paying attention, listening to as much as I could bear, reading the proposals, and watching the attempted coup by the Democrats I can agree with Mr. Buckley but would expand it to the first 2,000 people in the phone book of any city in the USA.  Wow, the world of politics has gone completely crazy and is growing increasingly weird! 

Is Joe Biden senile, on medication, or simply as dumb as he continues to appear?  I’m sorry if that sounds unkind but it is a legitimate question.  His gaffes are more than gaffes they are so far-fetched assertions and postulations that any potential voter should have strong trepidation about giving him their support. 

Is Elizabeth Warren as out of touch with main-stream America as she appears? She must be to propose her disastrous healthcare and other freebies plan. But then, so does the mad-hatter Bernie Sanders?  Are they suffering from some mental disorder or do they truly believe what they are proposing?  Either way, it is deeply disconcerting.  In a normal time, I would simply laugh at their shenanigans, but these are not normal times and millions are supporting them.  That is frightening!

I read an article recently that said that each of the Democratic hopefuls has offered a plan to ‘fix health care’ but nobody is asking the obvious question, “Why does it need to be fixed?”  Are there problems in the area of prescription drugs?  Are some costs out of line and out of range?  Of course, but why destroy the entire system in a feeble attempt to fix those issues.  Wait, most of the proposals do nothing to fix those issues they only give control of our health care to the bureaucrats and strip the decision-making power from us and our physicians.  How is that a fix?

Each of them insists that Russia has, in their words, ‘invaded our democracy.’  I wonder how many of them realize that we are a Republic, not a Democracy?  But beyond that how many of the liberal voters know the difference?  If Russia is posing such a threat, why didn’t Obama stop them when he was president?  Why did Hillary rake in millions from them and her foundation?  Why allow the thousands of illegals if not millions come into our country and participate in our electoral process fraudulently without the Democrats joining in the fight to stop Voter Fraud?  Why?  Do I really need to answer that?

We have a genuine problem with opioids and their solution is to punish the pharmaceutical companies with lawsuits and fines. They even advance the idea that the executives in those companies be criminalized and sent to prison.  Yet, not one of them is addressing the free-flowing river of illegal drugs flooding our country via our porous southern border.  Why not?  Again, it has more to do with potential votes and makes one wonder how deeply those politicians are in the swamp of illicit drugs financially? 

They want to put our troops on the Syrian-Turkey border but reject the idea of our troops protecting America on our own southern border?  Go figure!  They hated the war in Syria, Afghanistan, and anywhere else until Trump pulled out and now, they want us there.  Do they even know what they want or is this just another of the long list of no matter what Trump does they will oppose it? 

I find it amusing and depressing that CNN would focus on Ellen DeGeneres sitting with George W. Bush at a Dallas Cowboys football game.  How could Ellen commit such an act of treason to their cause and sit with the devil himself or the second-degree devil, since Trump is the number one devil, to them?  How could she commit such an act of treachery?  They rave about that even though Bush is, apparently pals with Barack and Michelle and reportedly did not vote for Trump.  But he is a former Republican President and he is evil, at least in their minds and in the minds of their voters.

I don’t believe there is one among them qualified to be President.  They do not have the mental acuity to handle the job.  Most of them are Socialists on some level and some of them are full-blow Socialists.  Each of them views America as evil and needing to be ‘fundamentally transformed’.  Each of them believes that they can buy enough votes through various government give-away programs to secure the election. 

They are all willing to violate the constitution and strip us of many if not most of our inalienable and constitutional rights.  Freedom of Speech for a conservative is anathema to them and must be suppressed.  The Right to Keep and Bear Arms is a threat to their desired tyranny and must be removed.  The Right to Privacy is and Private Property Rights are considered detriments to their cause and all of America, except them, must give up those rights. God forbid that we should have the Right to Life and protect the unborn, to them that is a mortal sin.

We either take back our country at the voting booths or we surrender to the Tyrannical Oligarchy they represent.  Before you say, “It cannot happen in America” examine history.  How many rights and freedoms have we lost in your lifetime?  How many restrictions have been imposed by the federal government in your lifetime?  How massive has political correctness grown in your lifetime? 

We are being manipulated by Social Media, Politicians, the Main Stream Media, education, and the world of entertainment.  Will we realize that we are the frog in the pan of water and the heat is gradually rising?  Will we wake up before it is too late and jump out of the pan and in the Spirit of 1776 demand Freedom?

I am praying for an awakening in America!  I am asking God to pull back the cover or the lid on the corruption in government and expose it in a manner that is undeniable to anyone.  I am asking that America be forgiven for our genocide, infanticide, perversion, and abandonment of our Founding Principles and the Principles and Precepts of the Bible.  I am praying for our President, Congress, our Military, and every State and Local Government.  I am praying for the Pastors to become voices of right and watchmen on the walls warning of destruction and calling the nation to repentance and righteousness.  I am praying for America!

VICTIMIZED BUT NOT A VICTIM…


I am lugubrious over the political climate in America today.  I am excessively mournful for my nation because of the clear intent of many to divide the nation irreparably.  It makes me despondent, mournful and filled with deep sorrow to know that there are forces at work within our own nation to destroy America.  The effort may be intentional with diabolical premeditation or it may be through misguided ignorance, but the end result is the same. 

Today’s Democratic candidates vying to become their party’s nominee to become the Chief Executive of the Republic are all engaging in divisionary tactics.  They could be unifying and seeking ways to bring everyone together, but they are partisan power-seekers.  Today’s politician seems to know no other pathway than ‘divide and conquer.’  They seek to make select groups of voters embrace victim-hood. 

Many of us, have been victimized but we have the choice whether we will become victims or victors.  We can choose whether we will succumb to the pull for self-pity and adopt a victim mentality or fight to come out of the doldrums of depression and rise above the event or condition.  It is not that simple but that encapsulates it in the best way I know how to articulate the problem.

The use of ‘fake news, false information, misinformation, paranoia, fear, hate, envy, greed, and anger’ is destructive.  The Democrats seem to truly believe that their road to victory and reclaiming the White House is through dividing Americans and pitting us against each other.  If they succeed in making people ‘victims,’ they succeed in becoming the champions for those groups perceived cause.  That secures votes and that is the objective not emancipation from the Prison of Victimization. 

When a party expresses its belief that it is somehow ‘immoral’ to refer to America as “our” country that is alarming or should be.  The activist, anti-establishment, drug culture hippies of the 60’s teaching our kids the diabolical lie that America has ravaged the world for our own prosperity.  Their false rhetoric and ideology are the root of the ‘no borders’ because that is immoral and evil America must pay for her past sins.  They ignore the factual reality that we have done, more to better conditions throughout the world than any nation in existence.  Have we made mistakes?  Absolutely! 

The charge that Trump’s election proves the rampant and widespread existence or revival of racism and white supremacy is bogus and ludicrous.  The previous administration led by Barack Hussein Obama did more to reverse the gains we had made in race relations than any administration in my lifetime.  He helped create ANTIFA, emboldened the New Black Panthers, enabled groups funded by George Soros and launched the war on Christianity and our inalienable rights.  He touted the virtues of Islam while decrying Christians as being the victimizers of the world.  Yet, he claims to be a Christian.  Hard to comprehend.

I believe that most Americans want to be ‘unified’.  I believe that most Americas ‘desire’ to see a Republic where the views and values expressed in our Declaration of Independence are realized and adhered to.  I believe that most Americans hold the sentiment of Lloyd Marcus, a black man, a member of the Tea Party, expressed in 2008 at a Tea Party Rally.  He said, “I am not an African-American!  I am Lloyd Marcus, American!”  

That’s my view.  I have a strong Irish-Scottish heritage with a sprinkling of Cherokee.  I am not an Irish-Scottish, Cherokee-American, I am an American.  That will be tossed aside because I am white, but it holds true for people of every ethnic heritage.  We are either Americans un-hyphenated or we are something else. 

The empirical statistical data reveals that the most prolific defenders of black lives are the police.  Of course, there are some bad cops, but there are some bad eggs in every vocation, gender, ethnic group, or political party.  A few bad apples do not make the entire orchid bad.  Likewise, the greatest threat to black lives is violent black criminals and Planned Parenthood.  Margaret Sanger was a racist wanting to exterminate ‘negros’ as she stated.  Planned Parenthood’s statistically has an abortion that is disproportionally weighted to black neighborhoods.  It is factual that 70% of their abortion mills are in black neighborhoods. 

I keep praying for God to “Bless America Again.”  I am proud to be an American and want a restored Republic where all men, women, boys, and girls are recognized as being created equal.  I want a nation where we have the protected right to life, liberty and are able, without being overly regulated, pursue happiness.  I want a nation where there is liberty and justice for all.  I want a united republic who may disagree with various approaches of government but are willing to work together to find common ground for the best good of the nation and her people. 

I will continue unashamedly to stand for Faith, Family, and Freedom.  I will, without apology, vote for President Trump in 2020 and vote against the Democrats who are seeking to ‘divide and conquer.’  I will vote against transforming America into a Socialist nation.  I ask that you consider joining me and the millions like me as we stand for Liberty!

SO, YOU THINK SOCIALISM IS THE ANSWER – I Disagree…


When I was eighteen and finishing high school back in the mid-60s, if you had told me that in fifty years America would be contemplating Socialism as a way of government and economy, I would have laughed in your face.  But today, that is exactly where we are and there is an ever-increasing number of people buying the hype, spin, rhetoric, and diatribe of the Socialist Activist in our government and elsewhere.  How did we get to this point and what do we do about it?

We got here through the brainwashing of our young and the failure of those not so young to use their brains to rationalize and reason.  Failure to think has helped to advance the cause of the anti-Capitalist in America and around the world.  Failure to honestly examine the empirical data and factual history has created a breeding ground for this kind of mentality.  Sadly, many do not consider the empirical data or factual history because they have never heard it.  It is no longer taught in many of our institutions of higher-learning and often not in our secondary schools either.  We have seen at least two generations of the dumbing down historically of America.

I am growing increasingly frustrated with the Republican Party for their ineptitude in stopping the agenda of the Left.  They failed when they had control of both houses of Congress and they are failing now.  It almost seems like the Establishment Republicans would rather be the minority party than govern.  Why?  Because in that position they can blame the Democrats without having to make the hard choices and govern.  They can lament that they are not in power, therefore, have no control.  But there are things they could and should do, so “Republicans, Do It!”

As to how we fix the problem that is much more involved and requires much more critical analysis of the situation and current structure of Congress as well as the attitude of our elected officials.  I saw a Gallup Poll that reported that 37% of Americans feel positive about Socialism.  How is that possible?  It also reported that 16% of those who feel that way lean Republican.  That is more than a little disturbing, it is horrifying.  How could anyone claiming to be a Republican and supporting conservatism and the constitution have a favorable view of Socialism?  Talk about a paradox and maybe an oxymoron – Republican Socialist?  Are you kidding?

Representative Chris Stewart, (R-Utah) somehow managed to receive approval from the House of Representatives to create an Anti-Socialism Caucus.  He stated, “The purpose of the caucus is to inform lawmakers and the public on the dangers of socialism and to serve as a bulwark to stop the advancement of socialist policies and legislation.”  If that proves to be the truth and is effective even marginally, I applaud the effort.

Socialism is a real threat in today’s America.  It has failed everywhere and every time it has been tried but the devastation and destruction it leaves behind are horrific.  The adversaries of the Free Constitutional Republic and our Freedom in America have a common bond.  They desire to destroy us and strip us of our freedom!  They seek to redefine our Representative Democracy and ‘fundamentally transform America’ into something other than what our Founders gave us.  That must be stopped!

Representative Stewart tweeted, “This caucus will defend individual liberty & free markets and highlight the dark history of socialism.”  I say Hallelujah!  That is providing they stay the course and do what they purport is their purpose.  How many in Congress will wake up and get on board?  I hope there will be many but fear there will be few.  We have a clear choice in the elections of 2020 between remaining the Free Constitutional Republic or shifting dramatically toward Socialism.  How people cannot see that or do not fear that is beyond my ability to understand. 

If the Democrats regain full control of the government in November 2020, we will witness America’s dramatic shift toward Socialism which will lead to the loss of Liberty and Freedom.  We have a clear choice and I am deeply concerned that too many are not thinking but voting out of selfishness, distaste for the current president, or simply partisan.  Regardless of the cause, if we do not defeat the Leftists, we endanger the Freedom of everyone!

Sadly, today, I am finding that many do not have a clue what Socialism is.  They hear the theories bandied about by the politicians and pundits and buy the spin.  They hear CNN, MSNBC, Hollywood Elitists, Political Pundits, and other Activists contend that they will get what they want if we move that direction and say, “I’ll take a double portion, please.”  The dangers are never discussed intelligently or accurately and the drive to fan the flames of personal envy and greed through arguing for “Equality” endangers us all. 

Walter Williams succinctly explained the difference between the capitalist and socialist systems: “The key features of a free-market system are private property rights and private ownership of the means of production. By contrast, socialist systems feature severely limited private property rights and government ownership or control of the means of production.”  Bravo, Dr. Williams, bravo for your articulate and accurate depiction of this issue.

If the Democrats win in November 2020, we will first see Socialized Medicine but that is not the end of the snowball from hell.  The Democrats are pushing for more and more government control in education, private-sector businesses, and other major sectors of our American economy.  Socialized Education is a catalyst to the tyrannical despotism of Socialism and Communism.  Consider what public education is and how it is funded, and you see what is happening.  Public education is paid for, largely, through property taxes, teachers are employees of local school boards or state governments and textbooks and the curricula are chosen by government boards and entities.  We now have Socialized Education and the fruit is ripening or rotting in the product.

In Socialized Medicine the dangers are too numerous to enumerate but suffice it to say that there would be a dramatic reduction in the number of healthcare professionals.  We would likely see the reduction in medical facilities.  We will see delays in receiving care as well as denials.  We would be moving rapidly toward governmental euthanasia. 

Social Security, that most of us are forced to pay into is a Socialist program.  No, I do not want to do away with it for those on Social Security but there is a better way and we need to explore those pathways.  Socialized charities exist in America with over 80 means-tested welfare programs in existence.  One of the most egregious is the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF).  This program gives money directly to the recipient to spend as they please.  There are approximately 3.5 million Americans now receiving TANF funds. 

Sadly, the Establishment Republicans are powerless against Socialism because too many of them are Socialists themselves.  That is demonstrated in both their words and deeds.  The historic record supports my contention.  That is another reason that I am so active in seeking to defeat the Leftists Democrats and want to see a Clean Sweep of Congress.  We must find a way to Drain the Swamp and Dismantle the Deep State!  Please join me in the primaries and in the general elections and let’s preserve America for ourselves and posterity.

WILL WE EVER RESTORE AMERICA and DRAIN THE SWAMP?


Some will say, Yes.  Some will say, No.  Some will shake their heads and say, Hopefully.  I wish I could definitively answer that in the positive but with the deep entrenchment of the Swamp Denizens and the Deep State in government, I am not overly optimistic.  I believe in God and believe that He is still in control.  However, I also know that God will allow man to pursue his own folly.  God will not impose His will upon us and force us into compliance.  Therefore, the onus is on us.  We who love this Republic and want to protect and defend our freedoms and inalienable rights must stand firm and stand together in our efforts to Reclaim the Republic.

Regarding the Ukraine issue, I do not find any constitutional evidence that Trump committed an impeachable offense.  There are times, I wish he would be a bit more cautious in his verbiage.  There are some around him that should walk softly when addressing the media, the Democrats, and the public.  But, to totally ignore blatant violations of the constitution by the Democrats and come after Trump for what could be equated to a very minor traffic violation, if that, is ludicrous.  It is revealing of the true intent rather than expressing any genuine desire to uphold the law or uncover the truth.

Nothing this President has done even comes close to what Obama, Hillary, Biden, and countless other Democrats have done and are doing.  How were their actions and the continuing revelations of their actions, not Front-Page News?  I’m sorry, I almost forgot that we do not live in a world where both sides are held equally accountable by the Press or Congress.  How could I be so absent-minded?  Please forgive me!

The former president Barack Hussein Obama his administration and loyalists engaged in a blatant, covert and sometimes an overt conspiracy to overturn a legitimate election and oust Trump from office or prevent him from being elected.  That is criminal, immoral, and treacherous if not treasonous. 

Beyond that, the Benghazi disaster, the Fast and Furious debacle, the Green Energy Slush Funds he provided for his buddies, using the IRS to target conservatives, the Clinton Email Gate, and a myriad of other events are ignored.  How and Why?  The bottom-line answer is, “Because they are Liberal Leftists Globalist Democrats.”  There is no other answer.

The Russian collusion fabrication has produced a nothing burger for them, but they never stop.  This time, the Ukraine phone call scandal is not based on factual information but hearsay, but it is ‘Front-Page News’ and the worst scandal in American history if you listen to the MSM and the Democrats.  Do they really think the American people are that dense?  Well, Yes, they do!  They do because voters keep confirming the ignorance or willingness to look the other way when a Democrat commits a crime or makes a major political misstep. 

The cover afforded the Leftists in the Media, Congress, and even the Courts have left me less than hopeful of the full restoration of the Republic and a significant draining of the Swamp.  But I refuse to give up or cease my fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom. 

The charge by the Democrats is that Trump colluded with Ukraine to ‘dig up dirt’ on Joe Biden because he is so afraid of having to face Biden in the General Election.  There is no factual evidence to support that.  Many presidents have talked to foreign governments regarding corruption, potential crimes, and threats to our Republic.  Some of the Democrats and nobody seemed to mind, but if Trump sneezes, He is in violation of some moral and constitutional edict and must be annihilated.

The Democrats thus far have gone after numerous associates of Trump hoping to get one of them to give them some ‘dirt’ on Trump.  They have come up empty and I suspect it is because there is nothing criminal or impeachable, they can give.  But the Democrats refuse to quit and are doggedly devoted to the cause of “Ousting and Destroying Donald John Trump.”  He is their mortal enemy and they would sell their souls to destroy him.  Wait, maybe they have done just that, sold their souls!

The Democrats and too many Republicans have ignored the violations of ethical guidelines and the law by the various sectors of our bureaucracy including the Intelligence Community.  John Brennan, James Clapper, James Comey, Evelyn Farkas, Samantha Powers, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch to name a few engaged in devious if not illegal activities targeting Trump and Conservatives.  The Obama administration was very open to the use of the government to coerce people to comply with his agenda. 

There was a tag line in the “X-Files” to describe administrative state nefariousness:  Deceive, Inveigle, Obfuscate.  That is the clear mantra of the Democratic Party and their loyalist.  There was and is an unhealthy worship of Barack Obama, possibly because of his being half-black or his being the darling of George Soros and the toxicity of liberalism.  There has been the clear trepidation about launching anything against the Clinton’s because people fear for their lives.

We have had the blatant misuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). That has been revealed in the exposed lies they used to obtain warrants.  They activated the potentially potent “Five Eyes” intelligence services of Canada, Britain, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States against Trump.  The Five Eyes are not bound by the same constitutional restrictions as the U.S. Intelligence Agencies.  However, our own agencies have demonstrated a willingness to side-step and ignore that document.

One possible flaw in President Trump is his openness as to what he thinks.  His open observations regarding the Biden family have triggered the Left and sent them over the edge.  They have ramped up their ambition and drive to ‘destroy’ him, at all costs.  “Damn the torpedoes full steam ahead” is their mantra.  They consider Trump’s destruction worth the crumbling of our system of government.  They are oblivious to the pain they are inflicting on Americans.  Their enemy must be destroyed, and they consider us collateral casualties.

Those “Five Eyes” have targeted Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu, Boris Johnson, and anyone who even remotely supports law and order and Republicanism.  I pray that we can Drain the Swamp and Restore the Republic before a ‘civil war’ breaks out.  I pray that we can somehow dismantle enough of the Deep State and drain enough of the Swamp to reclaim oversight of the Government.  I pray that America can once again become “One nation under God.”  I pray that we can once again see America be the land where “our right to pursue life, liberty, and happiness are protected.”  I pray that America will once again see “liberty and justice for all.”

WHO WILL BE THE FIRST VOLUNTEER AMONG THE ELITE?


Obviously, that requires a bit more detail before there can be a serious answer.  The Democrats are on record of supporting and proposing “Population Control” as their means to ‘Save the Planet.’  They have embraced the Malthusian Theory of Population Control.  Their assertions are based on false information, paranoia, fear, and delusion, but what is new about that position?  Nothing, with the main-stream political elitists who are seeking to be President of these United States of America. 

The Malthusian Theory identified population growth as being a catastrophic danger for the world.  The reason behind that position is the theory advanced by the Reverend Thomas Robert Malthus, in 1798.  He advanced his theory that population growth was not paralleled by food production.  He suggested and believed that if the population of the world continued to expand there would be massive food shortages and therefore ‘Population Control’ was mandatory for the survival of the planet. 

Think about when was that theory advanced.  Hang on to your hats.  It was detailed in the Reverend’s writings, “An Essay on the Principle of Population” in 1798.  That’s right I did not say 1978 but 1798!  Wow! Over 200 years ago he advanced his debunked theory based on nothing more than fear and presumption.  He suggested many “checks” on the population including preventing marriage between people deemed to be suffering poverty or perceived as ‘defective.’  There is much more in that theory but suffice to say that the Democratic Presidential hopefuls want to ‘Control the Population’ to Save the Planet. 

They have offered some incredibly preposterous proposals that just a few years ago would have resulted in them being laughed out of the room.  Today, those proposals are not laughed out of the room but due to the multi-generations of brainwashing that has been transpiring, the fear-mongering, and faux science used to advance the fear of ‘Climate Change’ people are buying their suggestions and assertions. 

The current crop of presidential hopefuls in the Democratic Party stated on CNN’s Climate Change Town Hall that ‘Climate Change’ is the greatest threat America and the world has.  That is beyond preposterous but alas, there are millions who buy it hook-line-and-sinker.  Their dumb ideas make banning plastic straws seem like a mild absurdity.  Their proposals make banning incandescent light bulbs and air travel seem middle of the road ideas.  Their assertions go far beyond calling Climate Change the greatest threat to humanity since WWII.  It went beyond calling hurricanes racists, which they have done.

Their most ludicrous idea is that to fight climate change we must have ‘Population Control.’  The incredibly dangerous ingredients in that idea can readily be viewed by simply looking at what happened in Nazi Germany under Hitler.    They have embraced the theories of Paul Ehrlich of Stanford and many of their proposals come directly from his book ‘The Population Bomb.’  Ehrlich contended that the world is overpopulated by at least 1 billion people and that the only salvation of the planet is population control and reduction.  That would include forced sterilization and contraception programs being enacted.  I wonder how they square that with their arguments for ‘reproductive freedom’ and ‘women’s rights’? 

The empirical evidence is that human beings do not deplete the world’s resources but help to discover and produce more for use by mankind.  People who are invested in Freedom and Free Enterprise make the planet better.  It is better materially, economically, and environmentally.  One of the major reasons for population growth is the dramatic reduction in infant mortality and longer lifespans due to research and production by people.

The Malthusian Theory and those advancing their ideas of Population Control such as Ehrlich have suggested that there would be standing room only on the planet.  In the 1970’s they argued that in just 25 to 50 years the world population would be over 10 billion, but it is much nearer 7.5 billion.  Population growth has slowed over the past few decades and freedom has proven to be an incredible motivation for contraception.  As people prosper and enjoy freedom, they make the personal decision to have fewer children.  Even in China population is not the problem or a threat to the world. 

Let me open Pandora’s box regarding this theory.  If it is implemented, who decides who can and cannot marry or have children?  Who decides who lives and who dies?  Who decides if a person is too poor or ‘defective’ enough to warrant their extermination or prevention from enjoying a family of their own?  Who?  You guessed it, the politicians and their appointed bureaucrats.  That becomes the most despotic of all conditions and that is exactly what the Democrats are pushing for.  My question is, “Which of them will volunteer for extermination, to save the planet?’’  NONE!

The attempts of man to mandate the population’s size and reduction is to assume the position of being god.  I believe that their theory and agenda is diametrically opposite of the Judeo-Christian view.  I believe it opens the door for disastrous and diabolical results regarding human rights.  It will do nothing to resolve and potential environmental problems but will, in the end, make them worse.  Controlling the size of the population is not the answer, human ingenuity is.  Therefore, this is another of the myriad of reasons I reject the Left and will vote against them in this and every election.
