THANK YOU is not enough to express my gratitude to all my fellow, veterans for your service and sacrifice. Today, November 11, 2020, is the specific day that we have, as a nation set aside to say, THANK YOU to those who served in our Armed Forces.
The term “armed forces” is appropriate because it expresses a force that has both the manpower and firepower to protect and defend this great nation from all enemies. Foreign enemies, such as ISIS and the Islamic jihadist are a real threat as are nations such as Iran, North Korea, and our perpetual adversaries Russian and China.
But also domestic threats and those petulant temper-tantrum throwing leftist taking to the streets, airwaves, social media, and calling for and actually doing damage to property and person are asking for a taste of what our Armed Forces are capable of. I do not want to see blood flowing in our streets but sadly it seems that is the objective of the Soros-led organization, BLM, New Black Panthers, SEIU, and many others. It is tragic that we may soon ask our men and women in uniform to place themselves in harm’s way against fellow citizens and non-citizens treated as citizens.
BUT that is not my desired focus for Veteran’s Day it is to say THANK YOU and show the RESPECT and APPRECIATION you deserve. I served in Vietnam and spent 1967 in that part of the world and came home to a nation that spit on me and my fellow, veterans calling us every derogatory name they could imagine.
I am so deeply moved by the realized real sacrifice those in 1776 and beyond made to secure a Free, Independent, and Sovereign United States of America. I am deeply appreciative of the sacrifices and service of those in our two World Wars as well as those in Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf Wars, and every other war and conflict our men and women have been thrust. Many may not have fired a shot in combat and they are no less to be respected and appreciated because they are part of this illustrious and needed body designed to PROTECT and DEFEND this nation.THANK YOU!
If I could exclude myself so that no one considers my remarks self-serving I suggest that our veterans “are the backbone of Freedom in this beloved nation.” They are those who are out front in the line of defense for the freedom that even those who hate them are afforded.
My love and appreciation for our Armed Forces only grow stronger each year and in each situation where they are required to defend this nation. I salute you and your service. Thank you to all my fellow, veterans the Marines, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, and Navy.

Proverbs 14:34 – “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” NASB
Some may be offended or take exception to my usage of Scripture and citing the moral decline of our republic as the most significant problem we have. If you do, that is your choice, but I believe that from America’s inception as a republic family, faith, freedom, fidelity, and morality have been key cogs in the wheel of our success and greatness.
John Adams addressed the military on October 11, 1798, and said, “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and a religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
The father of our nation and our 1st President, George Washington declared, “The foundations of our national policy will be laid in the pure and immutable principles of private morality, and the preeminence of free government be exemplified by the attitudes which can win the affections of its citizens, and command the respect of the world.” He also said, “Tis substantially true, that virtue or morality is a necessary spring of popular government. The rule indeed extends with more or less force to every species of free Government.”
Another signer, Charles Carroll said, “Without morals, a republic cannot subsist any length of time; they therefore who are decrying the Christian religion, whose morality is so subline and pure (and) which insures to the good eternal happiness, are undermining the solid foundation of morals, the best security for the duration of free governments.”
Thomas Jefferson an oft-maligned founder said, “I know but one code of morality for men, whether acting singly or collectively. He who says I will be a rogue when I act in company with a hundred others, but an honest man when I act alone, will be believed in the former assertion, but not the latter…if morality of one man produces a just line of conduct in him, acting individually, why should not the morality of one hundred men produce a just line of conduct in them, acting together?”
Politics has evolved into a nasty cut-throat nefarious and diabolical organism. It has a life of its own and exists to perpetuate itself elevating the professional politician and statist to a place of preeminence and power. It has become about control, manipulation, and promotion of ideologies, agendas, and sects desirous of dominance and control. American politics have lost the view of the value of morality and many have adopted a ‘cat mentality.’
What is a Cat Mentality? I call it that because people attempt to compartmentalize their lives and justify bad behavior in one area while claiming piousness in another. I had a man in a congregation that I led who was a very prosperous businessman. He had gone from being penniless to a multi-millionaire through his ability and the favor of God. He was a faithful member of our congregation and generous to a fault if there can be a fault in generosity. He believed, as do many that his business life, social life, family life, political life, and church life were different compartments and one did not impact the other.
The reason I know this is because I was sitting in his office and overheard a business deal, he was conducting. His deal was, in my view, questionable for a Christian and although not illegal or even immoral it did not advance the testimony of a believer exemplifying Jesus but focused on the bottom line and his benefit. When he concluded the phone conversation, I questioned him about some specific points. He said, “Preacher, that is just business and my business life is separate from my religious or church life. I do what has to be done to get the deal done and make money.” I sat there a few minutes not saying a word then looked at him and said, “You are not a cat. You do not have separate lives you have a Life! What you are in business, the social world, home, politics, or in church you are! You are the sum total of all those activities they are expressions of what is in your heart and who you are.”
America has ignored the basic teachings of the Bible and abandoned morality on many fronts. We justify abortion claiming it is about women’s health or a woman’s right to choose. What happened to the unborn baby’s right to choose and its health? Politicians get away with fabrications and people brush it off as ‘politics’ because we too are guilty of engaging in our own distortions, and questionable handling of the truth. We excuse in politicians what we are guilty of or deem acceptable in getting the deal done. That reveals a massive deterioration of our moral moorings and foundation as individuals, families, and a nation.
I do not justify moral failings in politicians. I accept the fact that they have them and the lacking a saint to guide our government we must deal with that reality. I believe that America had the favor of the Almighty in our beginning because we had a strong moral foundation as a nation. You may find that objectionable because of things like slavery, but the vast majority of our citizens believed in God, the teachings of the Bible, strong family, honesty, and basic morality.
I contend that we cannot call ourselves righteous when we allow the mass slaughter of the unborn and fail to love and tolerate others who are different. I would never suggest that anyone violate their core convictions and conscience and embrace religions deemed by the Bible to be false. I would not suggest that anyone abandon their convictions and embrace or call normal lifestyles that are anathema to the teachings of the Bible. However, just because a person does not see things as we do does justify our failure to love them as created beings of our heavenly Father.
In our Declaration of Independence, the moral position of the republic was declared and defined. “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” I would argue that today’s America no longer believes that principle base on the vitriol in politics and society.
The words of Proverbs 14:34 need to echo in our hearts and minds and we need to revisit our beginning history and examine the reality of the blessing of God’s providence through the years. When we were a more moral nation, we had the favor of God and advanced greatly, even amazingly. As we have become more depraved, we have lost favor in the world, watched the disintegration of strong families, and witnessed the increase of intolerance, hate, bitterness, crime, and corruption. We were great, and I would argue still are, but we can be greater still but only if we return to our moral moorings and reestablish our moral foundations as a people. This must be addressed individually, then collectively.
Our elected officials are not examples, of moral standing, but if we as a people return to our moral moorings, we can create an environment where those of moral fiber will step forward and become willing to participate in governance. Am I dreaming of a Utopia? I think not, but each must evaluate and address this in their own hearts. I stand firmly for Faith, Family, Freedom, Fidelity, and Morality.
A few days ago, the powers that operate the social media outlet of Facebook notified me that I had violated their community standards on both my personal and ministry pages. They issued a sentence of 30 days in the Facebook jail and they have refused to inform me of the specific violations or to allow me to face my accusers. They seemed to be a bit put off when I reminded them of my biblical and constitutional rights to both know the specific charges and face any accusers. An appeal is not an option with them, in my case so I write as an inmate of sorts.
Why do I include that in this blog that is not controlled by that social media outlet? I do it because I watch what is happening in the world and since I cannot reach out to the 5,000 on my friend’s list and the others who follow me on that medium, I cannot address anything. I was not allowed to inform anyone of my incarceration and ban and that seems a bit capricious and arbitrary but that is how the Leftists operate.
Another thing that Facebook has done is allow me to see what others are posting but block me from responding. That is, in a measure, cruel and unusual punishment. Not only have they prohibited me from my constitutional and biblical right of Free Speech but have further exasperated the situation by permitting me to see but not say anything.
That has produced a sense in my heart of what helplessness feels like. All of us have and do feel helpless from time to time and those of us who are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible know we are far from helpless. I truly did not know how much Facebook touched my life and have been addressing that in my heart and with the LORD. The sadness is that I would like to speak but am disallowed and feel robbed that I cannot offer any comfort or possible guidance to those crying out for sanity and direction.
I had the misfortune of hearing part of Joe Biden’s address upon being crowned “President-Elect” by the media. He may be the next president after all the litigation is complete. Has there been “Fraud in the Election”? In my mind, that is beyond question. Will it be exposed sufficiently that Biden is stripped of his title, “President-Elect”? I do not know. The larger issue is what it means in the elections to come. If this is allowed to stand and if there was sufficient fraud to shift an election that means we can never again have a legitimate election in America. That is a death sentence for Constitutional Government.
Biden spoke of a mandate and that caused me to continue listening when otherwise I would have moved on. I don’t need to hear the wind blow to know that it is blowing. I can see and feel the effects of the political lunacy without the need to subject myself to the needless anger that comes from listening. I have enough difficulty with my thoughts to willingly expose myself to issues that damage my faith and focus.
The mandate that Biden spoke of included numerous things, some I wish to address briefly if you will bear with me. He spoke of science regarding the pandemic and climate. Science? The theory of man-made climate change or global warming or whatever they are calling it will destroy our economy and will result in a direct assault on the fossil fuel industry and expand to every facet of society.
It will ultimately reach their attempt to control the type and location of housing, travel, and many other factors. It will ultimately require the government to tax us more and more attempting to pay for their flawed ideological pursuits. It ignores the God of Creation and makes man the god of his creation as it attempts to control what only God can control. The cost financially, morally, spiritually, and politically will be unsustainable.
Biden feels he has a mandate to force us into Obamacare on steroids, social justice that will kowtow to organizations such as BLM, Antifa, LGBTQ, and a myriad of other elements now embodying the Democratic Party. He will find that the Bernie Sanders and AOC radicals of the Party must be appeased. He will discover that the Gun Activists, the Censors of Freedom of Speech elements will demand their share of the political pie. The Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff, and those in the Establishment will demand a seat at the table. He will be nothing more than a vehicle through with America is fundamentally transformed, which will ultimately mean destroyed.
Biden made a most interesting statement and the media were fawning over it as though it were somehow a new revelation of how to heal America. The way the media touted his comments, I wondered if Biden had somehow become Jesus! He has not, but that’s how they reacted and want us to react.
He said, “If not cooperating was a decision, we could make the decision to cooperate.” That’s right, Joe but to insist that those of us who voted for Trump and the elected Republicans in Congress suddenly compromise and cooperate is a bit hypocritical isn’t it? NO, it is totally hypocritical or a revelation of a mind that is so deluded with lies that it is pathological.
Where was the cooperation during the past four years? Where was the willingness to work together and the compromise? It was and is non-existent. Now, you, as America’s great healer want everyone to become docile sheep and cooperative as you implement your plans to destroy much of this nation.
If this stands and Biden is sworn in on January 20, 2021, assuming he lasts the first year of his term, destruction will come. If the probable fraud that took place in Georgia and other parts of the nation is implemented in the Senatorial runoff elections, the Democrats will, with a Biden Presidency, control both houses of Congress.
That would guarantee an immediate rollback of the Trump Tax Cuts. It would mean an immediate effort to control and restrict our ‘Right to Keep and Bear Arms.’ It would mean the full imposition of Obamacare. It would mean that our Nation would have 2-4 new states guaranteeing the Democrats permanent control of the Senate. It would mean an increase and packing of the Supreme Court with liberal activist Jurist. It would mean that probable and likely irreversible destruction has come to America.
I have not touched on the assault on our religious liberties and the free expression of our faith. I have not addressed the pandemic, COVID-19, the virus. Will, it suddenly go away and become a non-issue, or will it be used to impose more Gestapo type restrictions on Americans? I truly wonder what those who frothed at the mouth over Trump and were willing to sell America’s soul to defeat him will say when the full brunt of destruction is realized? I suspect they will never admit their error or repent.
I speak now to the Christians and those who love Liberty and Freedom. It is not time to give up or grow silent. We may be silenced and persecuted for our views but if we willingly grow silent, we make their path to our destruction easy. I bow to no man only to God. It is time that we pray as we have never prayed. It is time we turn our hearts to God totally. It is time that we study the Constitution and political process so that we can intelligently and factually speak to our elected officials. It is time that we do what we neglected to do in the past and allowed this to transpire – Become Involved!
America, from my Facebook prison cell, I speak and urge you to “Look Up our Redemption is drawing near. Now is not the time to despair, now is the time to Trust God, and follow His directives. We must not quit and give up.” I say with Patrick Henry, “Give me liberty or…” Well, you know the rest of it. I don’t want that end, but Freedom is worth fighting for and dying for. I stand firmly for Faith, Family, and Freedom!
The voting is over and as the ongoing battle continues, I have to ask, “Now what, America? Now what?” Someone said, before the election, “It won’t matter who wins, America is up the proverbial creek without a paddle. Civil war is coming, either way, the Liberal Leftist will seek to impede all progress, revert us back to the dark times under Obama, and impose regulations beyond anyone’s imagination.” I wish I could say that I totally disagree, but I cannot. The evolution of the Democratic Party and the Leftist has brought us to the place that the promise or threat of Obama is their Prime Objective. They intend, by hook or crook, to ‘fundamentally transform America.’
Before anyone argues that America could use some transforming let me ask, “into what?” What is it about our founding principles, our guiding documents embodied in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence are so horrific that we need to experience a metamorphic reshaping and restructuring? What is it about the separation of powers in three branches of government that is bad? What is it about having constitutional restrictions upon all three branches that are bad? What makes anyone think that Socialism or Communism is a better path than the Free Market and a Representative System of Government?
For months I have watched with more than passing interest, the antics and actions of various sectors of our government as they have launched trial balloons of tyranny. I have watched the reaction or lack thereof of the American people and wondered. We have had pandemics break out in this nation before but never coupled with the immediate and totalitarian lockdowns we have endured. I am not suggesting that COVID-19 is not serious, dangerous, or deadly. I am suggesting that the overreach and incredible suppression of our liberties and rights getting virtually no pushback is stunning. What will that mean in the next few months or years?
As a Christian and a believer in the Bible, I believe the prophecies and warnings of the Bible about the Last Days. I believe the account and warning of the Book of Revelation and confess that there is much in it that I do not fully understand. I believe there is coming a ‘man of sin’, the Anti-Christ who will ascend in power and become a world dictator. I believe he will be fully possessed by the devil and operate with the power and force of that evil supernatural power. I believe that many will be deceived and become casualties. I weep when I think of how difficult and tragic it could be for families. Yet, I hold firmly to my confidence that God Never Changes and He is Victorious making us victorious in the end.
I have people tell me that I should not be concerned because the church will be gone when that happens. However, when I read the Bible, I see that multitudes will be affected and even if I am my fellow Christians are raptured before that event should I be unconcerned about those who will endure that tragic time? I do not desire to get into an eschatological debate but to say, “We are to work while it is yet day, because the night comes when no man can work.” There is freedom to be fought for and preserved and apathy or hiding awaiting God’s rescue is not what is needed. Our assignment is not to sit and wait but to work and pray!
Watching the devious and dangerous manipulation of people through fear and panic for political purposes is deeply troubling. The voting is over, but the forces and people who want to impose total control have not ceased. Those who believe in God and are Christians have a mandate to not only share the Gospel but to sound the alarm when danger is present. Those who love Freedom and are Patriots have an obligation to resist all forms of tyranny and be willing, if necessary, to take the words of Jefferson and our founders to heart. We may have to “water the tree of liberty with the blood of patriots.”
Please do not misquote me and charge that I am inciting a revolution. War is the last thing I am advocating. However, I believe that it is needful that the lovers of freedom be willing to do what is necessary to preserve our system of government and prevent us from becoming a Socialist, Marxist, Communist nation. I will continue to be vocal and warn against the menacing and perilous dangers of attempting to turn us into a direct democracy. We are a Republic, not a Direct Democracy and I pray that God will help us to remain so.
There are many, not all for the same reasons, that desire we become a direct democracy where a national majority vote determines the election of our president. That would guarantee that the pockets of toxic liberalism would determine the outcome of every future election. Smaller states and a vast portion of our nation would be ignored, and the wishes of individual states would be invalidated. The founders, with incredible wisdom, adopted the electoral college. That act has provided a guarantee that every state in the United States has a voice and counts.
It has been difficult for me to fully grasp the abject lunacy of allowing politicians, who have become nothing but self-serving political prostitutes, to determine what we can and cannot do as Americans. The absence of reason and logic is astounding. The abandonment of critical thinking and common sense has stunned me.
When the cure becomes worse than the disease it is time to reexamine the approach to treatment. When those in government who have, for decades, impeded our progress are allowed full control we are damning ourselves. The clamor about COVID-19 and the politicizing of the pandemic has revealed many things about those in government and precious few of those good.
Just days before the election we were warned that there would be a new surge in COVID-19 and fear was rekindled in millions of hearts and minds. Many of us asked, “Is this a surge in positive tests, cases, hospitalizations, or deaths?” We knew that a positive test alone is not a case, according to the CDC. They defined a ‘case’ as a positive test with symptoms. We have been performing over a million tests per day and the positive rates have been under 5 percent. In simple language that is 50,000 positive tests per day with most of them not being infectious or symptomatic. The surge in positive tests has been used to attack the Trump administration and caused fear to soar.
The ploy was to politicize the election and open the door to ‘mail-in ballots’ and stymie voting in person. In-person voting appeared to favor the Republicans, therefore, it had to be destroyed and stopped.
My question is, “Are we going to allow the politicians to fundamentally transform America, or will ‘we the people’ become energized post-election and hold the feet of the politicians to the fire and preserve our republic?” I guess another question would be, “Is that even possible?” Therefore, my title question is my daily question and as I pray and examine my heart, I ask, “America, What Now?”
The the voting is over and the counting continues. When the dust settles America must decide to abide in the Republic we were given in the 1700s or allow ourselves to become fundamentally transformed by the Leftist. The fight for freedom is never a one election or one-time event, but a perpetual effort. The fight for liberty is not a fight for yourself or this present generation but a fight for posterity. Our founding fathers understood this reality, expressed it, and took incredibly wise steps to provide a pathway to continued liberty through republicanism.
The founders and framers of our constitution and system of government understood the incredibly grave dangers of direct democracies and the incredible benefit and possibilities found in republics. They objected to oligarchies, monarchies, dictatorships, and sought to provide a government that could be of the people, by the people, and for the people.
Any time humans attain power and position the tendency is to gravitate toward rulership and a corrupt mentality. The insightful words of Lord Acton, the 19th-century British historian come to mind and should be remembered. He said, “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” I believe that although there is an element of truth in that statement there is a reality that extends beyond it and speaks more fully to the issue. That is, “Power does not corrupt; it heightens pre-existing ethical tendencies.” Abraham Lincoln seemed to understand that reality when he said, “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.”
The issue of freedom and its antagonist, power can be noted in the Bible in the Gospel of John. In John 11, the religious hierarchy was deeply disturbed by the miracles of Jesus and said, “If we let Him go on like this, all men will believe Him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation.” (v.48). They were concerned with the loss of power, position, and prominence not the benefit of the people or mankind. That is the same root that is prevalent in the world of politics, business, and virtually every segment of society. The quest for control and power and the willingness to do whatever is necessary to maintain must be guarded against.
In America, we were provided a Constitution that identified what the government was permitted to do and specified that all else was off-limits. The professional politicians, who make up the bureaucracy embodied in Congress, many of the Courts, and the various Agencies of government want power.
Our political system has evolved into a corrupt entity that focuses more on self-perpetuation than the benefit of the republic or the citizens. We are secondary and deemed uninformed as to what should transpire. We provide the votes and the money for them to fulfill their ambitions and if we receive a benefit in the process that is a bonus. They believe we should be groveling grateful for any tidbit they toss us and should never question or complain.
I rediscovered a document that was published on January 19, 1961, that caught my attention and reminded me of the requirement upon each of us in this fight for freedom. Regardless of the purpose of the article, it makes several statements that are perpetually germane in the discussion and pursuit of freedom. It was a statement by Earl W. Kintner, Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission in a meeting with the Better Business Bureau of Memphis, Tennessee. He said, “Freedom is difficult to define. Yet a society dedicated to individualism must somehow perform this difficult task of definition if it is to survive.”
I am convinced that if we are to maintain freedom and liberty in America, we must define what we desire to preserve. If we do not know what freedom is how will take the proper steps to preserve or achieve it? Mr. Kintner went on to say, “A working concept of freedom must somehow equate the rights of one and the rights of many, the rights of the individual and the rights of society. Too much deference to the rights of the individual produces anarchy; too much deference to the rights of the mass produces a faceless tyranny. Obviously, a balance must be struck.”
I hear people repeatedly say, “Well we are a democracy, and the majority rules.” I feel compelled to remind everyone, we are not a direct democracy but a republic. Our founders detailed with incredible accuracy the dangers of being a direct democracy and the benefits of a republican form of government.
That is why they provided the system of checks and balances in the three branches of government. A distinction that corruption has blurred to our hurt. They provided the electoral college system to ensure that each state has proper representation in the selection of the President. A direct majority rule policy would relegate that selection to the East and West Coasts with pockets of large liberal Urban centers in the midsection of the nation.
Our political and economic systems are seen at their best when they allow the individual the greatest opportunity for unfettered self-improvement. Strangling government regulations, exorbitant taxation, loss of liberties such as speech, religion, self-defense, and movement all diminish freedom and open the door to tyranny. Freedom is not without obstacles and only as we take the proper steps to prevent political corruption from stripping us of our liberties can we remain free. We must decide if we will take those actions. Our votes indicated our decision not our actions in the years to come will define our resolve.
Many of those who came to America, in the beginning, came in pursuit of religious liberty and to escape oligarchies and the tyranny of self-serving monarchs. They persevered through some daunting obstacles and difficulties with an unshakable conviction that a society could be built based on God’s Word and His Laws. For over 240 years America has enjoyed unprecedented freedom and liberty and over the past decade or so those liberties have become the target of the politically corrupt.
In our early years and even in my early years there was evidence of spiritual revivals that helped America maintain a strong moral and spiritual value system that promoted personal accountability and responsibility. There was a measure of self-reliance without viewing the self as omnipotent but in our respect for the moral values of the Bible, a strong work ethic, and recognizable value place on family we thrived. Since the Great Society of LBJ, we have been traveling at light speed toward the disruption of those values, and today we are at a significant crossroads. What road do we take? Freedom and Liberty or do we acquiesce and surrender to the political power mongers and become enslaved without chains?
I pray that we will discover or rediscover, before it is too late, that Freedom is not without a price and will unite in demanding that all politicians at all levels will honor the Constitution, respect our inalienable rights, and return to being a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. We have the power if we unite. We have no power if we remain divided!
America is in chaos and we are watching our nation crumble before our eyes. There are factions with support from various sectors of society and the world that seem hellbent on destroying anything they don’t like. There are paid protesters and rioters and there are those who are genuinely invested in the cause they believe they are fighting for. I do not want to trash those people but am aghast at the number of people who have made this presidential election about everything but policy, agenda, and platform.
I had a friend ask, “How can any rational person and especially one who is a Christian vote Democratic this year?” That will draw ire from many sectors. Some will take it as an affront to their integrity and faith. When I write on what I see I keep hoping that the information I present and the reasoning I use will resonate with someone not already persuaded. I do not write out of personal animus toward any candidate but out of concern for the Republic. I write our of a desire to turn hearts to God and return our nation back to a more moral stance that would give us hope of being what the Declaration and Pledge affirm as our objective.
Long ago, I decided that I could not afford to make any election about personality but for the sake of freedom had to make it about policy, platform, and agenda. I believe I have a solid biblical ground for that position and am convinced that it is the only reasonable method of determining who to vote for in any election.
I take the announced platforms of the parties involved and examine the historic data available to decide. If the history of the candidate or the party indicates they are faithless in what they promise, I consider that. If their agenda is anathema to what I believe, the Bible teaches, and the Constitution, I consider that. The personality of the candidate is a minuscule part of my decision.
In 2020, the line of demarcation is incredibly clear, and it is difficult for me as an American veteran, a patriot, a constitutionalist, a conservative, and a Christian to grasp how anyone who is thinking clearly could vote Democratic. I do not mean that to be as caustic as it will come across and defend everyone’s right to believe and express what they believe. I defend the 1st Amendment Rights of Freedom of Speech. There was a time when we could disagree without going to war and seeking to annihilate the other side. That seems to be absent in today’s mentality on many fronts. I am saddened by that reality and it expresses the dire condition of our Republic.
I have suggested in the past and will address it again today that the opposition to President Trump as a person has transformed rational people into people who are suffering from a type of emotional blindness. There are those on both sides that suffer from this condition and that troubles me. As a Christian, I would hope that all believers would seek to overcome hate with love and not succumb to factual blindness.
I grew up in rural East Texas. I knew many people who voted Democrat because that is how they always voted. I had a person tell me in more recent times, “My family has always voted Democrat and I will vote Democrat no matter who is on the ticket.” That is emotional and factual blindness that dismisses reason and makes the person an easily manipulated subject of the ruling powers of that party. I would say the same about Republicans. That is not a good condition. God gave us a brain and it is high time that we use it to ‘reason’ and ‘think.’
I readily acknowledge that Donald Trump’s personality is a deal-breaker for some. One person said, “Trump engenders such a strong emotional response that a segment of the voting populace will never support him, both because of his mercurial personality and his identification as a Republican.” That person said, “Even if Trump’s actual policies benefitted those people directly, they would not vote for him, ever!” That is illogical and please don’t feel compelled to explain why his personality is so terrible he must be defeated. What about policy, agenda, platform, and the good he has procured for America?
I am unable to relegate my vote to the choice between personal style and governing policy and platform. I want to know what the plan is not just who the man or woman is. I want to know what the agenda is not what they may or may not have done in their personal lives. I want to know what their policies will mean for the republic not their moral fiber on issues that are not directly related to America. In this election, both major candidates have kinks in their moral armor, so if you make it about morals, you must reject both. If you make it about policy, platform, and agenda, you must decide what you believe is best for America and the Constitution.
When I view the policies advanced by Donald Trump and the Republicans, I see them as beneficial and highly successful for America and Americans. He lowered personal income tax rates. That move benefitted ALL Taxpayers, not just the 1% and the super-rich. The lowering of the corporate tax rates and the removal or reduction of the incredibly punitive regulations imposed by previous administrations has benefitted the economy. Until the lockdown we had the most robust economy in our history and had it not been for that condition we would be in the deep throes of a cataclysmic depression now. That’s where Biden and the Democrats will take us.
President Trump has demonstrated strong support for domestic energy production and enabled us to become energy independent for the first time in a long time, if ever. Our military has been and is being rebuilt, unlike the agenda of Obama, the proposed agenda of Clinton, and the desire of Biden and Harris. Illegal immigration under the Democrats would go through the roof but under Trump, it has been dramatically curbed. We have had beneficial renegotiations of trade deals that placed America on a much stronger footing. Biden is so stained by his relations with China and other foreign entities he could never negotiate from a position of strength.
In the Coronavirus pandemic, the President stopped flights from China even with the howls of the Democrats including Biden that it was unnecessary and even xenophobic. Trump has taken definitive and strong stances on many issues. I read an article recently where the writer asked, “If you or a loved one were sick and needed a specialized operation that only the best surgeon could perform, would you want the gruff, world-renowned expert with a caustic bedside manner or the warm, loveable, agreeable, passive novice with limited experience?”
Additionally, what we are witnessing in the opposition to Trump and the support of Biden and the Democrats is a classic example of Historic and Issues Ignorance. Yes, I said it and even if it rubs you the wrong way, I believe it a fair assessment. The governing styles and philosophy of the Republicans and Democrats are impossible to miss if you are willing to look with an honest heart.
We either support Life or we do not. We either support Law and Order or we do not. We either support Inalienable Rights or we do not. We either support a sovereign nation or we do not. We either support energy independence or we do not. We either support the free market or we do not.
I ask that you consider the agendas, the platforms, and the policies as well as the history and then determine how you will vote. If you honestly consider the parties, the platforms, the agendas, the philosophies, and the facts, I believe you will join me and reject the Democratic ticket in November or whenever we vote. We voted early and voted FOR AMERICA! We voted NO on Biden and the Democrats. Love me or hate me, that is what I believe is best for America!
Tomorrow we will make the final determination regarding the 2020 Election regarding who will be the next president of these United States. I can envision two potential headlines. Neither will be seen in the media but will be the reality and written on the hearts of multiplied millions. Without attempting to tease you with the two headlines I will give them to you. I do not give them in order of expectation or desire.
Headline Number One: “Biden Wins Freedom Ends!” I am quite sure the media would never print that, but it will be the truth should he and the Leftist win in November. They have openly declared the opposition to many basic constitutional guarantees. They have openly expressed their intent to destroy many things in our economy. Biden has openly stated that he is more than willing to ‘lockdown’ the nation again. There is little doubt that the Democratic Governors, Mayors, County Judges, etc. that are running sectors of our nation would capitalize on Biden’s willingness to allow them to impose tyrannical rule. That, in my view, would clearly and openly valid my headline, “Biden Wins Freedom Ends!”
Headline Number Two: “Trump Wins Renewal Begins!” Renewal? Yes, renewal of the American Dream. Renewal of American Excellence. Renewal of our Economy propelling it back to where it was before the pandemonium paranoia of the pandemic. Renewal of our hope to have Constitutional Government and Draining the Swamp. No, I do not say that if Trump wins, we will immediately see restoration but there will be a resurgence of hope.
Should, a Trump victory also include keeping the Senate and miraculously reclaiming the House of Representatives we could see incredible progress in the next four years. We could take great strides in uncovering the incredibly deep and long-standing corruption of Washington. We could see some needed transformation in our Intelligence Community, various bureaucracies, and education. We could see our history preserved so that we can learn from our past mistakes and move forward positively in resolving our differences. We would see the protection of our 1st and 2nd Amendment Rights as well as a restoration of personal freedom and liberty.
Should Biden win we will see massive government controls reinstated. We will see taxes soar through the roof. We will see the disruption if not the destruction of the fossil fuel industry and thereby cripple our economy and make us dependent on foreign oil again. We will see our enemies thrive and our friends withdraw in uncertainty. We will see massive regulations by Big Tech and Social Media on Freedom of Speech for anyone not drinking at the altar of Liberalism and Political Correctness. Corruption will reign supreme and the Career Politicians will, once again, become the ruling kingpins in Washington with nothing to impede them.
When I consider matters that are directly connected to my faith and the Bible’s message, I am required to examine the platforms of the two major political parties and the two major candidates. I examine their history as well as the fruit of their time in their elected positions. I examine their stance on issues such as abortion (life). I examine their positions on religious freedoms and the free exercise of our faith. I examine their positions on family, education, national sovereignty, foreign relations, and self-defense. I examine their position regarding the government’s right to rule as opposed to having a Constitutionally limited government. I view the candidates, not based on personality but position, policy, and platform. I ask if they are keepers of their promises or are, the career politicians who are more interested in their bottom line than America.
You may argue that Biden is equal to or better than Trump on all those fronts. However, if you honestly consider Biden’s and the Democratic Party’s position on abortion, family, Freedom of Speech for everyone, the right to keep and bear arms, taxation, and limited government you realize their position is tyrannical, not limited. Conversely, if you consider Trump and the national Republican platform on those issues you discover they embrace the idea of limited government and are supporters of the Constitutional guidelines and guarantees. Therefore, for this American, there is only one choice and it is Yes on Trump and No on Biden.
The headline that I hold in my heart is “Jesus Wins!” I try to not look at what I see happening and become overly influenced negatively by the bad that is happening. I am not a denier of reality or a blind optimist. I follow the biblical directive to “Look to God my true source.” As I focus on God, His Word, and the American Spirit that I believe still lives in the hearts of millions I stand strong in the belief that America will awaken from slumber. I pray that the millions who voted without voicing an opinion in the polls and propelled Trump to victory over the disaster identified as Hillary Clinton will once again turn out and turn up on November 3, 2020.
But, on November 4, 2020, or whenever the final votes are counted and the massive voter fraud exposed and the ballot harvesting rejected, if it is, we will have one of those two headlines. Which will you fight to make a reality? Will the headline you help make be – “Biden Wins Freedom Ends” or “Trump Wins Renewal Begins”? We hours away from that reality and the decision is in our hands. I believe that it is in the hands of those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and are Christians. I believe that through prayer and voting our biblical conscience will produce the needed victory. Will I be proven right, or will I be proven wrong and my confidence validated or refuted? We will know soon.
The Headline I hope for is “Trump Wins Renewal Begins” and in the body of that story America will once again move toward being “One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” We will move toward the vision of the Declaration of Independence that we are a nation that “hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men (and women) are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.” That is my desire and that is my declaration! I pray that America remains the Free Constitutional Republic we are created to be!
God bless you and may the wisdom of God guide you in your decision on November 3, 2020. America survives and thrives or dies based on our decisions in this election. As for me and my house, we voted for Freedom and Liberty standing for Faith, Family, and Freedom!
Well, I don’t have a crystal ball, do not pursue astrology, soothsayers, mediums, or the like, but I do have a God-given moral compass that helps me navigate the troubled waters of life and politics. God and His Word helps me to see the dangers and hear the warnings, but my responses are determining factors in what happens in the world and me.
Someone said, “I cannot control anyone but myself.” I said, “I am not sure that we can even do that.” We need outside help to navigate the troubled waters of life and make life the abundant event Jesus said, He came to bring. Making God first enables us to tap into the river of God that flows from His Kingdom in Heaven and brings Heaven to the earth. We need His help today as much, if not more, than our Founders needed His guidance and help in winning our Freedom in the 1700s.
I have asked the question numerous times and received a wide array of responses regarding Biden and what the Democrats truly believe about this election. The question that I and others have asked is, “Do the Democrats truly believe that Biden is winning?” The polls indicate he is. The Rhinos tell us he is. The media and other entities tell us he is. However, they keep saying and doing things that cause me to ask again and again, “Do They Really Think He Is Winning?”
My second question is often, “If So, Why?” Why what? Why are they lawyering up, threatening to burn the country to the ground, totally destroy the constitution, and infringe upon our inalienable rights? Why? Why do they feel compelled to incite riots and discord? Why do they feel driven to drive more wedges between various sectors of our society? Why are they adopting the modus operandi or mantra of “Divide and Conquer”? Why? I have an opinion and you already know what it is, but I’ll hold it for the moment and continue.
Joseph Goebbels said, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic, and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” That is what is happening in the articulation of the position and cause of the Democrats.
We are told that the ‘riots’ are mostly peaceful demonstrations. We are told that Biden is not suffering from diminished mental acuity and that Trump will steal the election. It is, in many ways, a repeat of the 2016 rhetoric of the Democrats. They seem incapable of believing that we, the American voter, might actually think and oppose their agenda. How dare we? After all, don’t we understand that they are the rightful owners of the plantation and we are supposed to be the loyal subjects doing their bidding? How dare we?
I truly believe that if all Americans would honestly evaluate the current conditions and the positions and platforms of the two major parties and candidates, we would see a dramatic victory in November. Sadly, I do not think that most are willing to do that. We are capable, but our biases often prevent us from honest evaluation and introspection.
When have gone from what many have called the “big lie” to a myriad of “little lies” being advanced by the Democrats! The Bible reveals in the Song of Solomon 2:15 that it is the ‘little foxes’ that do the damage and spoil the vineyards. One ‘bb’ will not sink a boat, but if you put enough ‘bb’s’ in the boat it will eventually sink. The weight of the many lies does a two-fold work. It is destructive but it also clouds the ability to see the truth. The sheer number of lies and the frequency they are advanced causes those not carefully examining the facts to believe that “where there is smoke there is fire.”
I believe the agenda of the Left is clear and if we could move beyond our biases and personality preferences, we would see them for what they are and reject them summarily. When we consider the four years that Trump has been in politics and the 47 years that Biden has, we are afforded a stark contrast. Trump has accomplished whereas Biden has done little other than benefit himself and his family.
I urge you to recall the declaration of the former Secretary of Defense under Obama, Robert Gates. He said, “Biden has been wrong on every foreign policy issue facing the United States in the past 40 years.” Yet, we are being asked to allow him to be the head of state and commander in chief. I find that beyond amazing and alarming beyond words.
I hear about Trump’s moral failings and his business dealings and those same people insist that we overlook the same things in Biden. How can we ignore the serial corruption of the Biden family as they have openly traded political influence for personal gain and became wealthy? How do we ignore the gaffes and frequent plagiarisms of Uncle Joe? How do we ignore his longstanding association with politicians associated with organizations such as the Ku Klux Klan? How do we ignore his penchant for touching women and children and smelling hair?
What has Biden done that has been beneficial for America? In 1994 Biden’s only serious accomplishment in politics took place with the 1994 Crime Bill. A bill that harmed more black men than anyone else. Joe has now disavowed that bill and position publicly but has he in his heart? I don’t know. Biden is, as are the rest of the national Democrats, for higher taxes, destruction of the oil and gas industry, pro-abortion, pro-amnesty, pro-open borders, and pro-gun control.
I am convinced that a person of Biden’s ilk and ability would be destroyed in a fair and legitimate election free of fraud and corruption. Therefore, the Democrats are planning a coup should Trump win. They have laid their cards on the table and plan to escalate the destruction, tie up the election results for as long as possible in the courts, and harp that their own deviousness is Trump’s.
They are laying the groundwork to argue that the election was stolen from Biden. But if they truly believe that Biden is winning why would they need to do that? If they truly believe that Biden is solidly ahead why would they keep planting the seeds that Trump is stealing the election? If they truly believe that Biden is a lock for the White House, why are they amassing a team of lawyers beyond the scope of anything seen in modern history?
We do not have to allow them to succeed! We do not have to allow the riots to continue or the paranoia pandemic impositions and infringements to continue. We can organize and mobilize and confront the destroyers who will attempt to intimidate and suppress the Republican vote in November. We can end the lawlessness and preserve our Freedoms and Liberties. We can, but the question is “Will We?”
I keep hearing in my heart as I pray for America, “It is up to you!” I do not sense that that means it is up to Roy Beaird but all who are followers of Christ. I believe it is up to all lovers of freedom and liberty. I believe it is up to mainstream America to resist the destruction and threats and make our voice heard loudly in November. My only question is, “America, what are we willing to endure, and what is most important to us?” For me and my house, it is Faith, Family, and Freedom. Therefore, I say NO, to the agenda to remake America into something other than the Free Constitutional Republic we were founded to be.
At the outset of this presentation of my thoughts let me state, I am a Christian white male of European ancestry. I am a believer in the Constitution of the United States of America, the rule of Law and Order, and that everyone should earn their way whenever possible. I do not believe in unicorns or flying pigs therefore I do not believe in the rhetoric of things like ‘white privilege.’ I believe in everyone being treated for who they are not how they look. I believe in being promoted by merit, not due to ethnicity, gender, quotas, or any other ‘privilege’.
Now that I’ve cleared that up, if anyone is still reading let me explain my title and delve into something that will possibly place me in social media jail, produce an exodus from my followers on social media, and cause me to incur the ire of those who disagree. I believe that some if not many blacks have been mistreated in America. I also believe that other ethnicities including some whites (including Irish Immigrants) have been mistreated in this nation. Thus, I am going to tackle a subject that is not necessarily pleasant nor is it one that everyone can or will agree upon.
Before you make any assumptions, I am not a supporter of ANTIFA, BLM, or any other group that seeks to segregate and divide people. I am not a supporter of any group or organization that promotes or is driven by hate and prejudice. I cannot ignore the statistical fact that 92% of black homicides are perpetrated by other blacks in cities run by Democrats. I cannot ignore the 300,000 black babies slaughtered in the womb every year. Those are disturbing facts that should cause everyone regardless of skin pigmentation or political view to cringe and weep.
How many have heard of the “Critical Race Theory” (CRT) training that has been transpiring at the federal level? That ‘training’ was known to have forced white male employees to write letters of apology to ‘marginalized’ people labeling those white males as ‘racist.’ It was not based on fact, but an assumption based on the theory of ‘white privilege’ and could be described as ‘guilt by association.’
I applauded President Trump’s decision to order the end to this ‘mandatory’ practice or “training.” The CRT was blatantly biased against whites and the trainers at the Sandia National Laboratories insisted that “white males must work hard to understand their white privilege, male privilege, and heterosexual privilege.” WHAT?
Unfortunately, the issue is much larger than just subjecting the dastardly white men to accept their evil status and repent. It argued that things like rugged individualism, something that helped America become America was bad. They also suggested that possessing or manifesting a can-do attitude, working hard, and striving for success exemplified the ‘white male culture.’ To them, that was not benign but cancerous and produced a lowered quality of life at work and home, reduced the life expectancy of the men, resulted in unproductive relationships, and caused an increase in stress. WOW! Who knew?
I have some questions and hopefully, no one will feel compelled to answer. “Is being a slacker the goal that we should be striving for? Is being unable or unwilling to put food on the table and care for your family so appealing and stress-free that we should all strive to be wards of the state?” If that is the accepted view, then count me out, I want to follow a more biblical directive and provide for my own, earn my keep, and be productive.
This attitude is pervasive throughout the federal government, public schools, and has crept into sectors of society including the church. It is reflective of the problem and why I would argue that the Democratic Party is at war with ‘blacks’ and ‘white men’. They are at war with biblical faith, God, the home, and in many respects our republic and the American way of life and system of government. If that is deemed better than Trump, then please eliminate me from your discussions. I cannot support a view that is so adverse, to both biblical principles and republicanism.
I read that some teachers were told that hard work, planning, and punctuality are ‘white norms’ and to be avoided. Wow! I wonder what those of Asian ancestry who are apparently just like white men and possibly more so, think of that? Wow! That is the theory of the liberal leftist who makes up the majority of the Democratic Party of today.
A generation or two ago, black educators, ministers, and other civic leaders in the black community lamented and sought to change the culture and attitude of being a slacker. Today, the Left deems that the desired mindset of that community, and there can only be one reason they desire that view. It is to control and make them dependent upon the federal government for their sustenance. How is that different from slavery? How is that not deemed a war against their success?
There is the idea presented that the violence in today’s America is justified. I argue that lawlessness is not justifiable or defensible. I contend that demanding that anyone regardless of their ethnicity is due special consideration is racist and detrimental to society.
It is one thing to be victimized and another to become a victim. If I allow myself to adopt the mentality that I am a victim then I become controlled by my circumstances and perceptions. I tend to lose hope, withdraw, become angry, and believe that I am due special consideration for some injustice in the past even if I did not experience it. That prevents me from adopting the attitude that I can be more than I am and achieve more than I have. The American Dream becomes a nightmare and unreachable.
Someone said, “80 percent of success is just showing up.” Another suggested that “90 percent of that success is showing up on time and being punctual and consistent.” T.J. Holmes, a black writer said in 2014 that the failure to show up and show up on time characterized the black community. I do not believe that is all the black community any more than all the white community shows up on time, works hard, and plans. There are slackers in all ethnicities and there are go-getters as well.
As a follower of the Bible, I believe that everything begins at home. If we train our children in ethical practices, morals, the value of work and earning your own way, and instill in them a sense of self-worth we can stem the tide of destruction. When groups, filled with hate, such as the co-founder of Black Lives Matter advances the idea that, “we are all trained Marxists” we see the problem. How can anyone of any ethnicity forget the atrocities of the Marxists in history? There have been over 100 million souls murdered by Marxist governments. How in the world, could BLM claim to be Marxists with the historic genocide committed against people including blacks?
We do not have two systems of life or government. Well we, are advancing that theory including a national anthem for a particular race in addition to the one for America. We are producing a mentality that there is to be a different economic and moral collective for blacks and whites. That is worse than mere segregation it is diabolical and deadly.
I seek for my America to become “One Nation under God that is indivisible and provides liberty and justice for everyone equally and without partiality.” I reject and resist any organization, political party, or a person who seeks to divide us and turn us away from biblical moral standards and virtues. I want Americans to be people who exhibit moral values, demonstrate hope, not hopelessness, are honest, charitable, and demonstrate qualities that include a willingness to work. Those are not black or white values they are divine and work for all ethnicities.
I believe the National Democratic Party is destroying the framework and fabric of our republic and in that, they are engaging in a war with many segments of society including the black community. You have a right to your view, and I am expressing mine. Thus, I have rejected the Leftist Marxist agenda and voted Republican in early voting.
For those who are not Christians, my title and topic may not be of significant interest to you, but I hope you will read it. For those who are Christians, you may take offense to some of what I am going to say, but I hope you will read it. I love God and love America more than words can express. I am not claiming to love more than anyone reading, but desire to speak what I sense in my heart. I hope it will resonate and even challenge hearts. If it does, then I have succeeded. If it does not, then I have used up some of your time and I hope you will forgive me.
I believe that Jesus is coming back as the Bible says! I believe that He is in heaven preparing a place for those who have accepted God’s offer of mercy, grace, and salvation. I believe that perilous times are going to be the earmark of what the Bible calls the Last Days. I believe that there will come a time when Jesus will return, and we will leave this world behind. However, I do not believe God ever intended His people to cease working, cease impacting our world, and simply await that return. He is not coming like the Cavalry to Save the Day and Rescue us from the devil.
I say that because the Bible makes it clear that Jesus defeated the devil. It makes it clear that Jesus is building His Church and that Church is to reflect His Glory and do the works that Jesus did and even greater works through the Power of the Holy Spirit. We are to be salt and light in this earth and if we are, we will influence our world rather than it influencing us. Sadly, I observe churches and Christians who spend more time worrying about the devil than doing damage to his realm I am troubled. I believe the devil should be more concerned about what we are up to than we about what he is up to. He has been defeated!
I do not desire to make this a sermon or majorly a religious article but to challenge those who are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and members of the Body of Christ to WAKE UP! I would hope that All Americans awaken and realize the dangers facing our world today. I go back to the directive of 2 Chronicles 7:14 and remind everyone that directive was not to the world or the government but the Family of God. It is God’s People!
Forgive me for not citing every Bible reference for what I am contending. I can but it would reduce the amount of space that I have to attempt to articulate the cry of my heart. The Bible teaches that we are to be Watchmen on the Wall and if we see danger to Sound the Alarm. We are to live in this world, but not be of this world in the sense that it has total influence over our lives, thinking, and manner of living. We have a higher law than the American Constitution or any edicts enacted by any government, God’s Law. That Law supersedes all opinions or laws. It is the highest moral law possible and it brings life and liberty.
We are in a War today! But it is a weird war in the sense that the enemy we fight is not flesh and blood. The Democrats nor the Republicans are our enemies, evil is! However, since we live in this world, we are subject to the laws and position the government takes on all matters. If those laws violate God’s moral law, we are instructed to identify that issue and like the disciples in the Book of Acts, Daniel and the Three Hebrew Children in the Old Testament, and refuse. It may cost us our lives but not our souls and our souls are worth more than our physical lives.
Jesus said that if we deny Him before men, He would deny us before the Father. If someone were to attack our home and family, most of us would resist to the death if necessary, to protect our loved ones and even our property. If we saw a pedophile attacking a child, most of us would react with force to prevent that horrific violation from occurring. We have evil rampant around us and it exists in our government through laws that violate our conscience, and the constitution. That demands that any moral individual become involved. In my view, failing to take a stand would be to deny what Jesus died for and thereby deny Him before men.
If we adopt the idea that God is on a Rescue Mission and evil has become so vile that He and we can do nothing but escape that is troubling. In my view, it is an insult to the heart, character, power, and Word of God. Jesus said that He had been given All Authority in Heaven and on Earth and He authorized us to go in His name. If I hide waiting for Him to return, I am not complying with His directive to work while it is yet day. If I ignore the issues of this day and fail to impact my world for good through the power and presence of God I am not occupying until He comes, I am hiding. I am not becoming the enforcer of His victory on the Cross as He directed.
Numerous matters are so mountainous they cannot be overlooked. Abortion, Abortion on Demand, and Live Birth Abortion are among those. America has been complicit in the slaughter of over 61 million unborn babies. Today, there is the practice, though often denied, but exposed, of harvesting tissue and body parts for sale. That is no less evil than the practice of human sacrifice practices by any society in history. As a Christian, I cannot sit silent, hoping for Jesus to come and not become involved in an attempt to stop this genocide.
There are millions if not billions of souls that are unconverted and on their way to an eternal hell without God. You may not believe in hell, but I do, and the Bible teaches its reality. If we shelter in place waiting for Jesus to come on a Rescue Mission and cease our involvement and labor, we become complicity with the doom of those souls.
There are those in government who would not only limit or ban religious gatherings but would restrict what can be said, how many can attend, and deny the gospel witness to millions. As a Christian, I cannot sit silent, hoping for Jesus to come and not become involved in attempting to stop this insanity and infringement on our God-given Right to Worship.
I believe Jesus is coming back but I also believe that God intends that we stay occupied and involved up to that moment. We dare not shirk our Christian and Civic responsibility and duty. We are to warn when we see danger and violations of what is morally and biblically right. If Christ is in us and according to the Bible He is, then we are to influence and even infect the world rather than vice versa.
If we take our position, commission, and mission seriously we will realize that the world needs us to manifest Jesus every day in everything we do. I would argue that it is the duty of every American and lover of Freedom to impact your surroundings for what is Right and Good, constitutionally, and morally.
Let me place my head on the chopping block with this declaration. I believe that if we become more focused on what is wrong than God’s Person, Purpose, Power, and Promise we will be infected and affected by the world rather than affecting it and producing a change in our society. I also believe that if we focus more on the Return of Jesus than the Mission before us and fail to look at the World as a whitened harvest field, we will become more affected by the world than affecting it.
Well, I tried to make this something other than a sermon but appear to have failed. However, if we want to preserve our Liberty and Freedom in America and remain the Land of the Free it is imperative that the Believers, Preachers, and Patriots become involved. We must address what is wrong and reject the attempts of any politician or political party to infringe upon our Inalienable Rights and pursue agendas that do not value every life and respect our individual Rights that our Declaration and Constitution, as well as the Bible, identify.
I don’t care what political party you belong, to this election is not about personalities. None of the candidates are saints. This is about policy, agenda, and platform. This is about preserving Constitutional Liberty and Law and Order. This is about Living Free or Living in the Tyrannical Clutches of Politicians who want to be Dictators or form an Oligarchy that dictates every dimension of our lives.
Christians, you cannot ignore the reality of our condition nor remain on the fence or silent. Pastors, if you are a true shepherd you must warn when you see dangers and you must preach the Gospel as Jesus and the disciples taught it. Patriots, you cannot abandon your fight for Freedom. If we fail, we will pay a price far beyond that anyone expects or envisions.
