WHAT’S BEHIND THE LUNACY OF TODAY?


Other than the obvious, the depravity of man, what is the answer?  Some will disagree but, the further society drifts from the principles taught in the Bible the more illogical and irrational it becomes.  I said some will disagree because not everyone believes the Bible or believes in the God of the Bible.  I do, and everything I believe in every sector of life is rooted in that conviction that the Bible is true, and the God of the Bible is the One True and Living God! 

If I have not lost my audience, let me continue in my quest to find the answer to my question regarding today’s political and societal lunacy.  You may find it offensive to call it lunacy, but I am at a loss for any other way to describe what is happening in America today.  There are times when the prevailing winds of idiocy are so powerful I want to withdraw and find seclusion in some remote area with my Bible and family.  If it were not for my deep conviction that that course of action is foreign to the directive of Scripture and other than that of a person who truly loves this Republic, I would do just that. 

Patricia McCarthy, an Assistant Director in the Commercial Litigation Branch of the United States Department of Justice Civil Division and a former nominee for Judge of the United States Court of Federal Claims.  She was a nominee of Barack Obama for that court position, so she has ties to the Democratic Party.  Why do I mention her?  She wrote an Article for the American Thinker entitled, “Man’s Inhumanity to Man.  Democrats Have Mastered it.”  She reminded us of Victor Hugo’s novel “Les Misérables” in 1862 and used it to reflect on human beings, incredible capacity for being barbaric. 

She referred to France’s revolution and the Reign of Terror by the Jacobins in 1793 and suggested that the American Left has driven itself into a type of Jacobin frenzy and would use the guillotine on President Trump if they could.  She argued that the Left truly believes that the votes and voices of those with countervailing views should be disregarded and silenced.  They truly believe that history should be rewritten and revised to reflect positively their positions and discredit anything of the opposing view.  They believe they are smart, entitled, and mandated by all that exists to rule over those of us who disagree for they deem us to be ignorant and incapable of governing ourselves. 

The Left and too many on the Right in Washington, are possessed with the desire for power they are driven to use any means possible to attain and maintain it.  The Left, in today’s America, appears to idolize and even worship power and their actions, as well as their words, indicate they prefer Power to Liberty for the individual.  They want Freedom for themselves and want us to “Do as they say, not as they do.”  Presidential hopeful, Bernie Sanders, publicly declared that he would not pay his fair share in taxes unless forced to.  I don’t disagree with paying only what you legally must pay so that is not my complaint with Bernie’s position. His insistence that others do what he refuses to do.

The hypocrisy seen in the Mayors of Sanctuary Cities and the Democratic Politicians who argue in favor of Sanctuary Cities for the illegals and demand open borders is unveiled today.  They are protesting loudly when faced with the possibility of thousands of those illegals being dumped on their streets.  Wait!  If Sanctuary Cities make people safer and are vital to making America the Land of the Free, why wouldn’t you welcome all that can come to your sanctuaries?  I won’t hold my breath waiting for their answer or an answer with any semblance of sanity.

There was a time when I possibly could have voted for a Democrat, but that ship has sailed.  I’m not sure what Democratic presidential candidate that would have been, but on other levels, I possibly could have.  I disagreed with many of their policies but believe that men like Harry Truman and John F. Kennedy loved America and wanted Americans to do well and prosper.  I became incredibly disgusted with the National Democratic Party with Lyndon B. Johnson who was president when I went to Vietnam.  He did so many things that were contrary to everything I believe and foreign to the Constitution yet was deemed a champion of Civil Rights.  Johnson’s declaration about guaranteed Blacks would vote Democrat for 200 years should be appalling to everyone and especially them.

Jimmy Carter was a disaster, not so much because he was diabolical in his agenda and anti-American but because he was incompetent and held misguided views on many fronts.  Barack Obama stealthily and overtly waged a war on the Constitution, our America of the Founders, Christianity, and crippled our economy.  He was and probably will always be a ‘race-baiter’ and fanned the flames of discord at every opportunity.  Michelle admitted her anger and disdain for America until He became the Democratic candidate and even then, she revealed her true feelings time and again. 

The Left has incited riots, allowed and encouraged those calling for a level of violence that is one a par with Islamic terror against anyone who holds other values than those they espouse to go unscathed by their actions.  We have seen America move toward violence that could erupt in a shooting war at any time, pitting those on the Right against those on the Left in bloodshed.  The Democratic Party is trying to determine if it will be defined by Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer or by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib.  Factions are being formed that are bent on the destruction of anything and anyone on the Right and some of their words indicate violence is an acceptable alternative to the ballot box. 

In today’s National Democratic Party, we see hate so powerful that reason has departed.  I fear that God is about to write “Ichabod” over the door of America.  It might serve us well to reread or read Victor Hugo’s book and realize that what the Left is doing is strangely like their pursuit of the destruction of Donald J. Trump.  America, we are headed for war if we do not return to and reclaim sanity.  That will not happen if the Democrats maintain control of the House of Representatives, reclaim the Senate and retake the White House. 

Now to finally state what I believe is behind the lunacy of today in America, I state the obvious.  It is first and foremost the depravity of the human heart.  It is also, the insatiable and corruptible thirst for Power and Control.  It is facilitated in the ‘brainwashing’ by Liberal Leftists Professors and Teachers seeking to shape the thinking of our youth.  It is the inherent greed of the human heart making the offer of freebies palatable and desirable with little consideration of the consequences or cost. 

How do we fix it?  It is my view that three pathways must be pursued if we are to see America salvaged and restored.  Those of us who pray must pray.  Those of us who hold valuable the Constitution, the Republic, and our Freedom must vote.  All of us must invest ourselves in awareness and uncover the truth and pursue the right.  The first step and third steps can and should begin immediately and the second must transpire in November 2020.

REDEFINING TERMS FOR POLITICAL PURPOSES…


Let me state at the outset, this is not a one-sided tendency but one that is so deeply ingrained in politics and politicians it emanates from both sides of the aisle and is pervasive in much of society.  Of course, I am speaking of something in particular so rather than any further attempts to stimulate your interest, let’s get to it.

This can be and must be applied to numerous situations, words, and events, but one that comes to the forefront of my thought consciousness is “Global Warming.”  The more I research the transition and development of this idea, as advanced by Al Gore and scores of others on the Left, I observe some interesting facts and factors.  No, I do not find evidence to support the theory of man-made global warming, but how Global Warming became Climate Change and why.  It was both the work of politics and an effort to package and sell an unsellable commodity to the public.

Those advancing this theory discovered that the public and most politicians were not buying the concept and were unwilling to advance the desired policies being requested. That prompted them to do something interesting.  Their think-tank or whatever consortium of like-minded advocates they had networked together came up with an ingenious idea.  They changed the theory from being called ‘Global Warming’ to ‘Climate Change.’  Seems a bit benign on the surface but it is far from benign.

That simple change enabled them to base all their research on computer models which are only as good as the information put in them and politicize the weather.  Al Gore became an incredibly wealthy man as he engaged in this hype.  Others have become incredibly wealthy and powerful and entire nations have been brought under the thumb of the proponents and human beings have suffered more than a little. 

Let me refer you to a published declaration that appeared in the Wall Street Journal in January 2012.  In that research and article, the reports from sixteen eminent scientists declaring, “No Need to Panic About Global Warming.”  That should have been the end of this hoax, but they were ignored, and the hype continued.  Let me give you a statement from those scientists and you then decide if you still believe that man is causing global warming or climate change to the degree the Al Gore’s of the world insist.

“Today’s CO2 concentrations worldwide average about 380 parts per million. This level of CO2 concentration is trivial compared with the concentrations during earlier geologic periods. For example, 460 million years ago, during the Ordovician Period, CO2 concentrations were 4,400 ppm, and temperatures then were about the same as they are today. With such high levels of CO2, the Earth should have been boiling.”

Based on those facts I must remain a doubter or denier of the theory and hold to my belief that God is in control of the weather.  I do not believe that God is an absentee landlord and that puny man is capable of causing the disruption of which we are accused.  Those scientists also stated something more that should bury this theory once and for all, but it hasn’t and will not.

“According to the Climate.gov website, the current global average temperature is roughly ‘shy of 60 degrees Fahrenheit. About 55 million years ago – just after the age of the Dinosaurs – the era known as the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum (PETM) saw average global temps as high as 73 degrees Fahrenheit.” 

I have read research from eminent scientists that suggest that rather than focusing on global warming we are moving in the direction of another global cooling.  They believe that a ‘cooling’ globally is possible and likely in this century rather than a ‘warming.’  I had someone challenge me saying, “If you don’t believe in ‘global warming’ your grand kids will.”  Seriously?  They might, they are being taught to be people who think.  However, I believe if they think and do actual research they will be like their grandpa and deny that this is the work of man. 

If the Global Warming or Climate Change advocates get their way, we will be plunged back into the pre-technological and pre-industrial eras and everyone and everything will suffer.  Transportation, manufacturing, energy, medicine, and even education will be hampered if not destroyed. 

A basic study of science reveals that the many arguments regarding CO2 emissions as being the greatest enemy of mankind and the planet is ludicrous.  The idea that CO2 emissions are the main driver of weather patterns is not an established scientific fact and there is much disagreement in the scientific community over its role and influence. 

To argue, as some politicians have that bovine flatulence must end to save the planet is based on imagination, not scientific data.  What if we went back to a time where there were millions of animals include the Bison or Buffalo that roamed freely across the planet.  Did they not pass gas?  How did the cow suddenly become the culprit?  Those four-legged creatures are simply a pawn in the scheme to gain control of everything through paranoia and fear-mongering.

Changing the name of something or redefining it has happened in many other things and the among the newest is the idea of Socialism being sold as Progressivism and Liberalism.  The redefining of genders and the expanding the basic factual DNA proven number from two to dozens is simply part of the scheme to package and sell an idea or agenda.  Free speech, if it is from a conservative, constitutional, or religious position is now Hate speech and not protected by the 1st Amendment. 

America, if we are to survive we must reject the presumptive postulations by the Left and return to following God’s moral law, using rational reason, and restoring the Constitution as the Law of the Land.  We have much to do, and it is imperative that each of us shoulders their own share of the load and gets to the business of reclaiming the Constitutional Government our Founders established and charged us to maintain.

THE WARNING SIGNS ARE EVERYWHERE, Why Can’t We See Them?


Each day as I pray, I sense the darkness of this world all around me and the sweet presence of the LORD assuring me that He is still in control.  Each day as I read my Bible I realize the depravity of man and the incredibleness of the Grace and Mercy of God toward us.  Each day as I read what is happening in our nation and what the political jockeys are doing, I weep because of the insanity of many of the political hopefuls.  I weep over the complicity of the mainstream media to spin the spin offered by the toxic agenda of the Socialist.  I find it impossible to fathom the failure of millions to recognize the warning signs and how many are embracing the liberal agenda. 

Each time I muse on what I have read regarding American politics I ask myself, “Why Can’t We See the Signs?”  Of course, many do, but there are multiplied millions who are blind to the dangers and the impending destruction of the agenda of the new breed of socialist in America.  As I attempt to answer that question in my own heart, I realize disturbingly that human greed and self-centeredness is a major culprit in the problem. 

The liberal leftists who are clearly socialist have discovered that they can use human greed and the self-centeredness to achieve their agenda.  When you add to the mix, distrust, envy, hatred, and the fanning the flames of phobic distortion you have the perfect storm for destruction. 

I brought my question to a conversation recently only to have those with whom I was talking to accuse me of thinking I was smarter than everyone else.  That is a million miles from the reality of my heart, but apparently, their perception based on my arguments and presentation of facts, as I know them.  I keep looking for ways to bring clarity to the issues of today and enable people to see the lurking dangers.  When I achieve that objective and am able to formulate my questions and guide the discussion into reason and logic I find that minds are changed, and eyes are opened.   Tragically that fails too frequently because of the perpetual spin presented by the only sources of news many have, The Liberal Main Stream Media.

It appears to me that too often we ask the wrong questions and arrive at wrong or irrelevant answers.  One person recently said, “I think our public discourse is one long non-sequitur.”  I said, “Yep, mostly hot-air and filled with balderdash.” It saddens me that when I try to talk to some, I find that when facts and verification enter the equation they resort to name calling, raised voices, and accusations and innuendos.  The blinders come down over the eyes, and reason departs the brain.  It is at that point that I usually just walk away because I have found that it is futile to try to talk to someone who has made up their minds and are not open to facts or reason.  My time is too valuable to waste in senseless arguments absent of reason.

Let me walk through some headlines I saw just a few days ago.  I will take one day, not a week or a month’s worth of headlines but one day.  I would like to discuss all of them but for the sake of time and appropriateness, I will refrain from that temptation.  Some headlines were in the form of a question and others where exposures of agendas, dangers, and problems.

In the American Spectator, one headline read, “Census and Citizenship: The Wrong Question.”  It was not an article defending the Democrats but changed the question to “Why in the name of sanity and reason should those of other countries who are not citizens be represented in Congress and be allowed to vote?”  It revealed what I have long said the Democrats and too many Republicans are all about power not what is constitutional or best for America.  Okay, now that I have failed in restraint in discussing each item, let’s move on to the next one.

The American Thinker had a headline that read, “Kamala Harris Calls for A Federal Ban on the Right-to-Work Laws.”  The article reveals the nefarious purposes of the powerful lobbyist of some of the incredibly strong left-leaning unions in America.  It also addressed Senator Harris’ thirst for power and her lack of understanding of how our economy works and the needs of working men and women everywhere.  She continues to suggest that she will rewrite existing laws via the Executive Fiat route and that makes her a Dictator in Waiting and Tyrannical. 

The Chicks on the Right had a headline that read, “Beto Bizarrely Compares Our Immigration Laws to Slavery.” Imagine that, an Irish guy from Texas who pretends to have Hispanic and Mexican roots via his adoption of a Hispanic nickname believes that national sovereignty is a problem and should be discarded.  He claims that the “illegals”, those who have ignored our laws and violated our national sovereignty as living in “modern-day bondage.”  He compares our immigration laws to slavery.  Wait, doesn’t he want to be President, and would he not be required to take an oath to “protect and defend the constitution”?  A document that is meaningless to him and most of the Democrats running for POTUS.

Then Fox News had a headline, “Steve Hilton: Joe Biden should be called ‘Joe China’ – and never be allowed near the White House Again.”  Old Joe says that he wants to make America “normal” again.  What is normal to him?  Back to the Obama policies and beyond marching headlong into corruption and destruction.  Thanks, but no thanks, Joe. His corruption and under the table dealings to secure financial rewards for his son and himself should be of concern.  After all, Trump’s business dealings have been a major issue for the Democrats, but Joe’s and Hillary’s and other prominent Democrats, not so much.

The former Senator and Vice President, Joe Biden has a long and sordid history of having his hands in the till and backing donors over Americans.  He could never combat China’s rise when the Chinese government has been funding the Biden family businesses for decades.  Based on the Democrat standards set for Donald Trump, Biden is so soiled and an irreparably compromised by a foreign power.  Disqualified!  No, the Democratic Party is selective in who they consider qualified and disqualified.  I won’t go into the Biden history, but it is readily available for anyone who desires to know the truth.

Those are just a few of the incredibly clear warning signs that millions are ignoring, not seeing, or missing.  Will we wake up enough people before the 2020 Elections to stem the tide of toxic liberalism and socialism in America?  That is reason enough for each of us to be on our knees and on our feet to prevent the Leftists from taking over.

WHERE HAS IT GONE – Sanity That Is…


Pete Seeger wrote a song that was considered an anti-war song which Peter, Paul, and Mary recorded in 1962 after the Kingston Trio had recorded in 1961.  Seeger penned the first verses of the song in 1955 while reading the novel, “And Quiet Flows the Don” which was about the Don River in Russia and the Cossacks who lived along it in the 19th century who joined the Czar’s army and sang as they marched. 

The lines “Where are the flowers? The girls plucked them.  Where are the girls? They’re all married.  Where are the men?  They’re all in the army.”  As he dreamed and thought he decided that the line “Where have all the flowers gone” would sing and began to write.  He said that his thought was, “When will we ever learn.”  In about twenty minutes the song came to life.  He sang it at Oberlin College in 1955 and one of the students took the song to his job at a summer camp and added two verses, “Where have all the soldiers gone?  Gone to the graveyards every one / Where have all the graveyards gone? / Covered with flowers every one.”  Seeger added his name to the authorship and gave him twenty-percent royalty.

Remembering that song has given rise to my question, “Where Has All the Sanity Gone?”  When it comes to modern politics, especially the ideological offerings of the Democratic hopefuls for POTUS in 2020 it seems to have vanished into thin air.  The illogic of the illogical is never more at the forefront than when watching the Leftists in the New Democratic Socialist Party defend Islam and promote Sharia Law but they target and attack Christianity and the Bible.  Let me predict that Sharia Law will spread like wildfire across America if the Democrats win the House, Senate, and White House in 2020.  You may disagree but that is my prediction and the question that comes to my mind in the immediate is, why would the Democrats support what will ultimately be their greatest nemesis?

Islam and Sharia Law opposes many things that the Left claim to be advocates for.  When I discovered that our federal government funded a national curriculum titled, “Access Islam” I cringed and wept.  That led to anger and sent me to my prayer closet in repentance and with a plea for God to restore sanity to America.  That program is an instruction on how to become a Muslim.  It teaches students how to pray as a Muslim.  It teaches how to perform Islamic “daily worship,” and how to perform the “core duties” of being a Muslim.  We funded that.  Where is the national curriculum on “Access Christianity” or “Access Judaism?”  It doesn’t exist.

When I discovered that a school in California banned all Christian-based books, I was horrified.  The claim was that the school could not and should not allow ‘sectarian materials’ on their state-funded and state-authorized shelves or classrooms.  Seriously? Then you allow the ‘sectarian materials about Islam” in?  How’s that for hypocrisy?  You allow materials that seek to normalize the LGBTQ agenda and lifestyle, but the Christian lifestyle is taboo?  You seek to mold kids as early as pre-k in the liberal leftist’s ideological mold but ban anything of the Bible or with a traditional family orientation.  But you claim that you are protecting against ‘sectarian views.”  So, my question resurfaces, “Where Has All the Sanity Gone?”

The Democrat-run state legislatures and city councils, as well as the national Democratic Party, have followed their leader Barack Hussein Obama in promoting Islam and attacking Christianity.  Do you remember the former Attorney General Loretta Lynch threatening to “jail” anyone caught speaking badly about Islam?  When did she say that about any speaking badly about Christianity or Judaism?  She didn’t!  She was following her marching orders of the Mr. Obama the man who had said, “If the political winds go sour I will side with the Muslims.”  The man that went on a world tour decrying American exceptionalism, praising Islam, and defaming Christianity.  The man that has insisted that he is not a Muslim but a Christian.  Wow!  With friends like that who would need an enemy? 

The followers of Islam and the proponents of Sharia Law have a mandate and track record of targeting homosexuals, abusing women, and calling for violence and even death to anyone not adhering to their religious and governmental edicts.  Those desiring Sharia Law to supplant the Constitution will, if they gain power, turn on the Democrats just as they will on everyone else not converting to their religion.  The violent religion that claims to be a religion of peace! 

The National Democratic Party is so thirsty for power and control they attempt to use blacks, women, homosexuals, and Muslims as their useful idiots to advance their ideological agenda.  Remember when the media insisted that anyone opposing the Obama agenda was a racist?  I do!  If Hillary Clinton had won the Presidency, any opposition to her policies and agenda would have been deemed sexist.  If the homosexual, Mayor Pete Buttigieg were to win the White House any opposition to his policies would be branded homophobic.

I suggest that people need to be very careful about what they wish for, they might just get it.  We need several revivals in America and one of them is a “Revival of Critical Thinking.”  People, too many people, tend to drink the Kool-Aid offered by the media and their political party without engaging the cognitive part of their brains.  The myriad of illogical offerings the current slate of Democratic candidates for POTUS are so mind-numbing I tremble when I think about them.  Their devastation would be so complete that we would likely never recover as the Free Constitutional Republic our Founders and the Framers gave us.

The quest for Socialism where everything is free, and nobody has to work is lunacy.  The idea of allowing the federal government to control everything is beyond insane.  The insistence that it is inhumane and immoral to have a border is beyond ignorant.  The view that it is the government’s right and mandate to tax, tax, tax to provide freebies for whomever they choose is beyond counter-productive it is destructive.  The desire to transform America from the Constitutional Republic into a Direct Democracy is a death wish even if those promoting it cannot see that eventuality. 

When a society reaches a place that it calls evil good and good evil that society is in grave danger of destruction.  A society that becomes a gathering of snowflake mentality where no one is allowed to be offended or offensive, unless of course, you are a Conservative or a Christian, is so rooted in senselessness it can be defended by no rational thinking person.  America, we are at a tipping point and if we fail to restore Sanity we will watch the systematic and complete destruction of our Republic.  I hope you can see that and join me in praying for America and voting No on this lunacy in 2020.

ARE WE REALLY FREE?


Before you rush in and insist, “Of course, we are!”  I suggest that you take a brief journey with me through the annals of history and take a cursory view of what is happening in today’s America.  We have as one of our treasured beliefs, and as is inscribed in our national anthem that we are the “land of the free”, but are we?  Lee Greenwood’s song has the line, “at least I know I’m free,” but are we truly free in 21st century America?  I am incredibly serious in my question.

I would argue that rather than living in a free society we live in a ‘relatively free’ society.  If you are one that asks, “What is the difference?” I will be glad to offer my definition in the following paragraphs, so bear with me.  Why do most Americans believe they are free?  What is it about our society that engenders that view.  I agree, that we are supposed to be free and that is what the Constitution sought to provide, protect, and preserve, but are we?  I suggest that we are ‘relatively or marginally free.’  We are free in some areas but not in all.  We are free in some sectors of our lives but not all, especially when it comes to governmental control and regulation. 

We live in an internet, technologically driven world with a microwave mindset where everything is instant or quick and easy.  We can subscribe to internet and television providers and enjoy more channels and options that we can truly use or enjoy.  Is that freedom? We can sit in the confines and comfort of our own homes and play video games or do whatever our hearts desire, but are we truly free? 

I would argue that the encroachments of the federal government and various governmental agencies make us only “marginally free” not FREE!  I have heard the term “free society” most all my life and the more I try to define that in modern terms, the more disappointed I become with both the mindset of people and the reality of the looseness of that term when applied to today. 

There are Constitutionalist and Libertarians who hold the view that a free society is one that is free from aggression and that the only role of violence is in defense of person and property.  I do not disagree and although I do not identify as a Libertarian but a Christian who is Conservative and a Constitutionalist and support Limited Government. 

My views, at least in my view, are rooted in the Bible and biblical principles as well as common sense and civility.  Every encroachment by the federal government into our freedoms, rights, and liberties is a violation of the spirit and intent of the Constitution.  We have so many government encroachments today that I find it impossible to declare that we are a free society but a marginally or relatively free society.

When we, Americans, approved and ratified the 16th Amendment authorizing the federal government to levy and collect an income tax from all Americas we surrendered a significant portion of our Freedom.  The federal income tax, unlike direct taxes, does not have to be shared with the states. 

The 16th Amendment legalized what had been done before such as the tax during the Civil War where anyone making more than $800 was levied a 3% tax.  That morphed into 3-5% on income over $600.  Does that sound familiar?  Any time the federal government finds a way to take our money it rarely goes down but increases because the insatiable appetite of politicians and bureaucrats to spend, spend, spend never diminishes.  Money is Power!  Income is Life and in taxing our income they are taking a portion of our lives.  Is that Freedom?

If we are guaranteed by the Constitution the Freedom of Speech, Religion and the Right to Property as well as Defense of ourselves and our property how are laws that regulate who we can or refuse to do business with Freedom?  According to the spirit of the Constitution, any business owner should be able to discriminate against anyone for any reason with no explanation. 

Before you call me a non-Christian over that statement let me clarify.  I believe that you have the right to say what you believe, and you have the right, as a private business to do business with whomever you please.  If your actions are racist, bigoted, and laced with a phobic attitude of some kind the public, those who engage in your services or buy your goods can also choose to not do business with you.  You have the right to be a bigot and they have the right to make you pay where it hurts, the pocketbook. 

Is it freedom when the federal government criminalizes speech and regulates who you can refuse service to regardless of your personal convictions or faith?  Some argue for Limited Government and less regulation will not agree with this but as much as I hate ‘price gouging’ that also should be the choice of the individual or business.  In a truly Free Society, you can charge whatever you choose, and I can decide if I want to purchase your product at your price or not.  If I don’t like your price I can either go somewhere else and if there is no other outlet for your goods or service, I can pursue alternatives or seek to provide those goods and services at a more reasonable price.  That is True Freedom!

I realize that what I’m saying will cause some to attempt to pigeon-hole me politically as something I am not.  I am not a proponent of No Government but a strong advocate for Limited Government.  The Founders placed in the Constitution a duty or responsibility of the Federal Government to “provide for the common defense.” 

In Article 1, Section 8 the federal government is mandated to pay the debts of the nation.  No, I did not say pay the people of the nation’s debts as seems to be the mindset of some disciples of Barack Obama and those embracing the entitlement mentality of the Socialist offerings of the Democrat Party today.  They were to pay the debts not continue to increase the national date and spend us into oblivion.  They were to regulate commerce between states and other nations.  They were to coin money, and a few, very few, other enumerated duties.  But today our federal government bears no resemblance to the Constitutional Government authorized by our Founders.

The Nobel-prize winning economist Friedrich Hayek wisely taught, “We shall never prevent the abuse of power if we are not prepared to limit power in a way which occasionally may prevent its use for desirable purposes.”  I believe that when we’re talking about matters that lie outside those few areas that constitutionally belong to the federal government, we should leave it to the states. It may take longer, but the outcomes will be more effective, longer lasting and more affordable.

Are we truly Free?  If you are talking about the freedom to choose the people you associate with socially, yes.  If you are talking about what television programs you can watch in your own home, yes.  If you are talking about what you believe, yes.  But, if you are talking about the full spectrum of life, including the invasion of your privacy and the encroachments by the government, NO! 

How do we return to being a free society?  In my view, there are only two pathways I can endorse.  One is by returning to our moral moorings and in that I mean return to God and once again become a Christian nation.  I believe that it is a need and requirement that those who pray become intercessors and intercede for the nation.    That may not be your cup of tea, but I believe it strongly.  The second pathway is at the ballot box and in maintaining a constant watch on the activities of our elected officials and when they violate our trust, help them find other employment.

SOME POLITICAL AND SOCIETAL DECLARATIONS BEG OTHER QUESTIONS BE ASKED…


One of those declarations concerns abortion.  I keep hearing that abortion is about women’s health and a woman’s right to choose.  That may sound plausible, logical, and even compassionate, but it demands other questions be asked.  I hope you will give me a moment to pose my questions and offer my conclusions.  You may agree or disagree, that is your right.  You may feel I’ve gone too far or not far enough, that is your right.  You may have no conflict between your Christian faith and abortion, even abortion on demand, but I do.  So, with that in mind, let’s proceed.

The resistance of those of us who are pro-life has been labeled a ‘war on women,’ by the pro-choice advocates and liberal leftists.  Recently the pro-life film, “Unplanned,” was released and has had some commercial success.  The Georgia legislature joined a growing number of states in passing bills that prohibit abortions after a fetal heartbeat can be detected.  The attempted actions of Virginia’s governor to legalize infanticide and the actions of the New York state legislature to legalize late-term and post-term abortions are more than a little troubling.  One question, a question, that was not part of my initial planned discussion is, “How depraved have we become as a society?” 

Planned Parenthood has trashed the film and the actions of Georgia and the other states that have taken steps to protect life in the womb claiming this is a ‘war on women.’  Planned Parenthood has a proven track record of being little more than an abortion mill and invests itself heavily in targeting minority communities, the poor, and the ill-informed.  Why is this push for euthanasia and infanticide being so devotedly advanced by the Left? 

I wonder if those in the pro-choice movement who are claiming that opposing abortion is somehow a ‘war on women’ have studied history.  I find it more than a little ironic that the champion of women’s rights and the first female to break the barrier of male dominance in medicine, Susan B. Anthony was an ardent opponent of abortion.  Those who were truly freedom fighters for women in our history opposed the position that feminism, liberalism, and leftism has taken us in America today. 

Susan B. Anthony believed that abortion was the exploitation of women. Imagine that!  She and other women in her army of freedom fighters, especially in the world of medicine and healthcare believed it was their obligation to humanity to protect women from the “gross perversion and destruction of motherhood by the abortionist.”  

Susan B. Anthony believed that women could be liberated from the laws of men by appealing to a higher tribunal, God.  She said: “She must feel herself accountable to God alone for every act, fearing and obeying no man, save where his will is in line with her own highest idea of divine law.… When the mother of Christ shall be made the true model of womanhood and motherhood, when the office of maternity shall be held sacred and the mother shall consecrate herself, as did Mary, to the one idea of bringing forth the Christ-child, then, and not till then, will this earth see a new order of men and women, prone to good rather than evil.”  Wow!

Those in Anthony’s army of suffragettes coined a term for abortion that would infuriate the liberal leftists of today and have Anthony and her co-laborers for women’s rights banned from their society.  They called it “foeticide,” and wrote articles and books on the subject of “Child Murder.”  They considered the terms, “abortion”, “murder,” and “infanticide” synonymous and that too would infuriate those following this ideology of ignoring that life in the womb and any perceivable rights of that unborn baby.

Today, every Democratic presidential hopeful, is a strong advocate of abortion, late-term abortion, and abortion on demand.  There is a view that is seldom discussed that is so reprehensible to me that I cringe when I think of it.  It is called “Evictionism”.  It is a misguided theory claiming to be a moral position advanced by Walter Brock and Roy Whitehead and advanced the political idea that abortion was basically ‘property rights.’  That’s right, “property rights.”  Does that get your attention?  It should and should make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up and send goosebumps down your arms and spine.  I feel a chill just thinking about it.

This theory was erected on the premise and belief advanced by philosopher Murray Rothbard who wrote, “no being has a right to live, unbidden, as a parasite within or upon some person’s body.”  What?  That baby in the womb is considered a parasite and unbidden.  No, it is not unbidden because the woman and some man engaged in coitus in a manner conducive to reproduce.  That is not Unbidden it is Invited! 

The theory was that since this parasite (baby) in the womb is unbidden the woman has the right to ‘evict’ or ‘eject’ the baby from her body any times she chooses.  They view the mother’s womb as her ‘property’ and the baby in the womb as a ‘trespasser or a parasite.’  Wow, what human compassion.  With that kind of mentality coming from those who demand that we must protect the lives of blacks, homosexuals, and a myriad of other groups I must ask, “Is selective protection what you believe in or do ALL LIVES MATTER?”

I don’t want to misrepresent their theory and belief because they do hold that life begins at conception but have also suggested that a woman has a right to evict the baby but can only legally abort on certain conditions.  If the fetus is not viable outside the womb, or…  The woman has publicly announced her abandonment of the right to custody of the fetus she can, in their view, abort at any time!

They suggest that if the woman does then, no one else has the right to ‘homestead’ that right by offering to care for the resulting baby.  I cringe when I hear that because the second part of that equation negates the first and makes it meaningless.  This view holds that the baby in the womb is to be treated like laboratory animals with no emotional attachment or concern for that innocent human life in the womb.  That, to me is diabolical!

I must ask, “How is the position of ‘Evictionism’ different from the abortionists who desire to give people the right to an abortion at any time during the pregnancy?”  You may believe me to be overly dramatic and claim that my convictions on this matter are misguided, that is your privilege. 

However, I must ask, “How is it a war on women to seek to protect innocent lives both male and female in the womb?”  There is an alternative to abortion and it is adoption!  Yes, the mother would still have to carry that child to term.  That is part of the problem, too many don’t want to be inconvenienced or experience any discomfort but want to do the dance without paying the fiddler.

This is another of the many reasons I cannot support the National Democratic ticket.  I am adamantly pro-life and believe that life is sacred, and the innocent must be protected.  I believe that our drift in this area leads to the euthanasia and selective genocide by the would-be gods of society.  I beg everyone to consider the life in the womb and if you don’t want a child please consider the thousands of couples that would love to have a baby but cannot.  They would gladly help defray or pay your expenses and love that child.

THE MOST EDUCATED BUT MORONIC SOCIETY IN HISTORY…


How’s that for an indictment on a generation or society?  But, what society and what generation am I talking about.  Yep, you guessed it, ours today!  There are so many things that cause me to think and say that so let me address a few of them and you decide if I am right or not.  After all, in matters of opinion, each of us is the final judge.  No, what we think does not make it right, but it is our opinion and we make the determination of what that will be.  So, I offer my opinion along with some pertinent facts of historical significance and you decide what you believe. 

One of the more recent things that made me laugh, grow angry, and then weep for our present world and America was in the actions by the New York Yankees baseball franchise to stop playing “God Bless America” by Kate Smith.  The Philadelphia Flyers hockey team has done the same thing.  In fact, in the city of Philadelphia, the statue of Kate Smith has been covered in black to hide her image because the Politically Correct world has deemed that she was a racist. 

What was the basis of this charge of racism?  You may find their charge palatable, accurate and appropriate or you may consider it overreaction and unjustified.  It may make you laugh, get angry, or cry but here it is.  Kate Smith’s 1939 recording of “God Bless America” has been used by the Yankees and Flyers for a very long time.  It was somewhat iconic, and the fans loved it.  Today they are using a different version because the report is that Smith ‘might have been a racist.’  Might have been?  Yep, that’s the assertion.  Not that she was but might have been and that’s enough for the Politically Correct world that we live in to try, condemn and execute anyone.  Sound familiar?

Kate Smith recorded a song prior to WW II, which has also been sung and recorded by blacks and whites.  The song which caused her to earn the brand racist was, “Pickaninny Heaven.”  Was it racism that caused her to record the song?  Could be, I don’t know.  She also recorded, “That’s Why Darkies Were Born.”  Others including black performers have sung that song.  Then, the final straw was the revelation that in 1939 she endorsed the “Mammy Doll.” 

The songs clearly have a racial overtones and are easily offensive to many and rightfully so.  But, to attempt to sanitize history and punish a previous generation for not thinking like we think today is ludicrous.  What bothers me is not the decrying of any racist actions of anyone past or present.  What bothers me with regard to today’s society is the tendency to judge the entirety of a person’s life by an action or two that we deem unacceptable. 

Kate Smith lived in a time dramatically different from our day.  She raised huge sums of money during WWII selling war bonds and was active in the fight to defeat fascism.  She traveled countless miles to cheer up our American Servicemen when they needed it desperately.  Does that excuse racism?  No, but if we are to be consistent should we not examine people like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and every Democrat in our history who has engaged in some unbecoming act?  I guess not.

My problem is that anytime the word “racist” or “racism” is hurled at anyone the racialist slobber like Pavlov’s dogs and march to the sound of the bell to destroy.  The attempt to sanitize our history and rewrite it so that there is no mention of the offensive is to invite disaster.  The snowflake society we are creating is hurling along a path of cataclysmic destruction and such emotional trauma that there will be few functional adults left in the world in just a generation or two. 

I decry racism regardless of where it comes from.  If we purge from our music everything every singer has performed because of something in their past, how many songs or singers will we have left?  If we disqualify from serving in any political office every candidate that has anything questionable in their past, what will we be left with? 

If we strip from our history books the true record of our American history, the good, the bad, and the ugly, how will we avoid previous mistakes when those taking the reins in the future will be unaware and uninformed?  We should learn from history and accept that fact that no human being is perfect.  No, I am not justifying racism, but I am asking that we stop being moronic in our attempt to sanitize our world and make it like we would like it to have been.  Let’s learn from our mistakes, admit our failures, and advance the cause of humanity as only we can if we are aware and informed.

We have many difficult and pressing needs in 2019 America and many of those needs and conditions are being ignored while we pursue an almost McCarthy like assault on anything our Politically Correct World believes to be offensive.  We are allowing our border to be erased and a literal invasion occurs endangering Americans and America on multiple fronts.  We are allowing the systematic dismantling of our electoral system, the corruption of our intelligence and federal law enforcement agencies, the weaponizing of various bureaucratic agencies and more.  Those things seem to not bother a large sector of our society, but Kate Smith must be removed as were the Civil War memorials. 

What’s next?  I suggest that if the Socialist on the Democratic side of the aisle wins many of our historical heroes including Jefferson, Franklin, Washington, Adams, and our Generals for WWI and WWII may become likely targets.  What kind of history will we have if even our Revolutionary leaders are purged from our history by this educated but often moronic society?

America, we need to awaken from our stupor and realize that no two of us are alike.  We do not think alike when we actually think.  We do not have the same preferences.  We are not touched emotionally, intellectually, morally, or spiritually by the same things.  We are individuals in a Republic built to allow that and designed to guarantee that we could continue that way.  It is Totalitarian to insist that everyone fit the mold prescribed by the government and no one is permitted to be different, think differently, or embrace different views. 

You may think, I am overreacting to the Kate Smith situation, but it is one of many events that have transpired in recent years and I suspect it is just the tip of the iceberg of destruction.  Our educational system has been more of a propaganda arm of liberalism than it is about expanding the mind and developing independent thinks who can engage in critical analysis, logic, and reason.  Yes, I stand by my statement that this generation is possibly, if not definitely, the most educated and the most moronic of any time in our history.  I fully expect a Salem style Witch Hunt to transpire as the PC Police search for offenders of their ideological preferences.  Watch out America this is not a fantasy it is real.

WHY THERE CANNOT BE PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE IN AMERICA…


How’s that for sounding like a ‘war-monger’? But, that is not my intent or my heart.  I desperately long for peace in America.  I want what seems to be an elusive dream and often seems a Utopian fantasy, a United America!  I was not alive during WWII but the spirit of survival and the spirit of patriotism that coursed through the veins of most Americans in that ear is something I long for.  I did not see it in Vietnam, a war of which I am a veteran.  I saw glimpses of it after 9/11 and saw what could be.

However, even in 9/11, there were naysayers and those who sought to divide America and prevent our focus on America and the perceived threat of our very existence.  There are some who are ‘Truthers’ who call this a heinous inside job by our American government.  Some of them are on my Facebook friends list and will take offense to what I’m saying.  If I were to adopt that view, and just because I see it on Google does not make it so, I would withdraw from society and become a hermit hiding in isolation and praying that no one finds me.  Our government has done some pretty bad things in our history and my argument that this was an attack by whoever is not a justification of the bad we have done in our history.

But, none of those things are my focus for this article. The disunity of America and the brewing and possibly impending civil war in America is.  The words of Rodney King are frequent thoughts in my mind and I hear calls from both sides of the aisle to “just get along.” 

Sadly, both sides seem to have drawn lines in the sand and refuse to budge.  Most of the calls for ‘civility’ and ‘unity’ put the burden and responsibility for the divide on one side or the other.  That almost guarantees there will be no coming together as a nation and no engaging in civil discourse that is void of violence.  Again, this is a heart and mind condition that is not a recent development.  This has been brewing and developing for decades but is almost to the point of eruption and that is deeply disappointing and concerning.

I, as a supporter of this President, am willing to say, there will be no getting along until the foundational issues of the millions who back President Trump are addressed with seriousness.  There were issues addressed in the 2016 Campaign that have not been facilitated or even considered by the Left and too many on the Right.  The typical response of Congress is to kick the can down the road and ignore the real issues.  They deal with the superficial and the easy but the difficult, complicated, and controversial they tend to sidestep.  Getting elected and reelected is their objective not fixing America’s problems. 

This may shock and even infuriate some, but I do not see Donald J. Trump as an extreme politician.  I can hear the gasps and some saying, “But, Roy, his rhetoric and constant tweeting is extreme.”  Really?  In 2020 America that is extreme?  If that is the case then virtually every member of Congress and every member of the Media, Hollywood, and most College Professors are extremist.  In fact, most of us are if that is the measure of extremism. 

The polarization in America and in American politics is not caused by Donald Trump, he is the result of that polarization.  Donald Trump’s election did not cause division in America it exposed it.  Millions of Americans in most States in this Republic had grown fed-up with politicians and politics and wanted America to be America again.  We had grown tired of the continued taxation, restrictions, political correctness, dismantling of our military, erasing our borders, and shredding our Constitution.  We wanted to get government out of our healthcare, our bedrooms, and relegate it to limited involvement in our daily lives.  In short, we wanted what our Founders and the Framers of the Constitution established and envisioned.  We still do!

At the risk of alienating some on both sides of the ideological aisle, the divide in America is not Republican vs Democrat it is Good vs Evil.  No, I am not saying if you are a Democrat you are evil and if you are a Republican you are good.  But, this is a heart and mind issue more than it is a political one.  The National Democratic Establishment has adopted Evil as their platform.  They have become, if they were not always, incredibly authoritarian.  They have moved to the Left of the Leftists FDR, Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, and in many ways even Barack Obama. 

The National Democratic Party that should include Socialist in their name has become visibly anti-Semitic.  Their leaders, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Elijah Cummings, and others have demonstrated a propensity to stoop to any level of dishonesty to achieve their objective.  There has been the direct and indirect encouragement for violence and some of their followers hear that as validation of their anger and open season on those who oppose their views. 

The rage against this president has been 100% manufactured and the refusal of the National and Congressional Democrats to move on and accept the acknowledgment of ‘no collusion’ in the 400+ page Mueller report is dangerous.  It is designed to keep Trump in the news, fake and real, and keep their base and followers in the dark and enraged.  They believe they must maintain that to have any hope of winning in 2020.  Are they right?  November of 2020 will be the answer.

As long as the angry bitter vitriol continues, we will have no peace.  As long as the fanning of the flames and the insistence continues, we will have no peace.  As long as the misuse and abuse of Law Enforcement and Intelligence Agencies continues, there will be no peace.  As long as various governmental agencies such as the IRS are used to target those of opposing views, there will be no peace. 

I am deeply concerned that there will be a blood-letting civil war in America!  There are extremist on both sides who are chomping at the bits to engage in war.  They are ticking time bombs with increasingly short fuses.  The ranting of politicians like Maxine Waters, Corey Booker, and others continues, there will be no peace.  As long as there is perceived or real ‘ballot harvesting’ in elections trying to steal them for either side, there will be no peace.  As long as there is the attempt to shred our Constitution and ‘fundamentally transform’ America into something other than what we were established to be Constitutionally, there will be no peace.

America if we want peace we must turn to the Prince of Peace!  I make no apologies in calling for America to Repent and Return to the LORD.  The directive in 2 Chronicles 7:14 is applicable today and is both a warning and a promise.  God says, “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”  We need healing and I pray, “Father, forgive me for my failures and help me be the man needed to bring about godly change in my world.”

BORDER SECURITY IS A NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUE…


I have grown frustratingly weary with the incessant diatribe and inane rhetoric of the Left and some Republicans that the border situation is a manufactured crisis and not worthy of our time to consider.  They are wrong!  Ronald Reagan said, “A country that cannot control its borders is not a country.” I keep hearing the argument that we are all citizens of the world and therefore borders are immoral.  I disagree on so many levels it would take a very thick journal of thousands of pages to enumerate my reasons.  I will exercise restraint and not make that attempt, for even if I did, I would miss some poignant points.

Our Border Patrol and ICE Agents continually sound the warning that our border situation is critical and dangerous.  The commissioner for the Border Patrol and U.S. Customs, Kevin K. McAleenan declared to an audience in El Paso, Texas that our immigration system has reached a ‘breaking point’ due to the ‘unprecedented humanitarian and border security crisis along our Southwest Border.’  Imagine that!  El Paso native and current Democrat hopeful to become President insists that there is no border crisis and especially not in El Paso.  The facts do not support Mr. Robert Francis ‘Beto’ O’Rourke, but he continues to flail his arms and make is fallacious claims. 

Most of the citizens of El Paso, Texas know that Mr. O’Rourke is terribly wrong and that Mr. McAleenan is disturbingly right.  At this juncture, the first quarter of the year 2019, more than 36,000 migrant families have arrived in the El Paso border region compared to 2,000 at the same time in 2018.  That is 18 times as many.  It is an increase of such epic proportions it should alarm everyone including those on the Left, but the media, politicians, and other activists dismiss it as inconsequential. 

The number of unaccompanied children (those under 18) has risen from approximately 1,300 last year to over 5,000 this year.  There were over 1,000 migrants taken into custody in El Paso in one day.  A large group simply walked across the border and turned themselves in.  Why?  If they were trying to sneak in, why would the surrender themselves voluntarily?  Why?  The answer is our ‘broken immigration system’, much of which can be attributed to the former President Barack Hussein Obama.  Please understand, I do not blame him totally because the George W. Bush and Bill Clinton administrations contributed to the problem too.

Border apprehensions were expected to exceed 100,000 in the month of March alone!  The April 9th report by the CBP is that we have seen an increase of 370% compared to 2018. That is not sustainable and could rightly be called an invasion.  The Border Patrol agents and the facilities are taxed to the limit.  The needed manpower and infrastructure including medical and detention facilities are inadequate.  The Democrats in Congress have no desire to alleviate the problems faced by our agents but contend that this is a minor issue.  They insist that all those people coming here illegally are simply looking for a better way of life and deserving of immediate and unrestrained entrance into our Republic. 

But back to the question of why they would voluntarily turn themselves in?  The answer lies in our ‘broken system’ and the standing policy advanced devotedly by the former president.  By law, those families who cross the border and declare they are seeking asylum are given a document with their court hearing date on it and released into our country.  That’s right, they simply walk across the border illegally, declare themselves to be seekers of asylum, and they gain free access to America!  Why not come illegally?  Why wait to go through the long and tedious process of legal immigration?  Why wait, when you can gain immediate entry by breaking our laws?  That is a preposterous policy and law, but it is where we are today in America.

What a wonderful world and situation for those seeking to gain free entry into the United States.  The migrants, the smugglers, the terrorist, and the cartels all know our legal vulnerability and are taking advantage of it.  The actual court appearance of those declaring for asylum will be years down the road, if ever.  They know it!  Even if their court date arrives there is a very large percentage that simply ignores the summons, and nothing is done.  They know this too!

Who do I blame for this situation?  Those coming here illegally?  Not entirely.  I don’t blame them for seeking to come to a country where they can be given government entitlements or find an avenue to achieve a better life.  I do blame them for breaking our laws. But, who do I blame?  I blame Congress!  I blame the politicians of all stripes!  I blame the liberal judges that have joined with Congress to cut legal holes in our border fence and effectively erase our Southern Border!  I blame the sanctuary cities and states that encourage illegals to come and give them protection and cover!  Sadly, many legal citizens become victims of crimes committed by those illegals in those sanctuaries, but to the liberals, those people are collateral damage and nothing to be overly concerned about.

The Left sees those illegals as a potential voting bloc for the Democrats and one of the reasons, if not the main reason, they support open borders.  The Left is using every tactic they can muster as they attempt to subvert our Constitution and gain inordinate power and control.  Power and Control are their real objectives and define their endgame. 

America, we either control the border or we pay the price of the destruction of our Republic.  If we continue the pathway of allowing illegals to gain legal entry, invite immigration without assimilation we will achieve the desired “fundamental transformation” advocated by Barack Obama and those of his ideological ilk.  I am in favor of legal and justifiable immigration, but not blanket amnesty and the current travesty revealed in our immigration laws.  We either need to demand Congress fix this or fix Congress by replacing those failing to do their jobs.

We must keep our eyes focused on the 2020 elections.  We must keep our eyes on the prize of the Free Constitutional Republic.  We must reject the snake-oil propaganda advancing the call for Socialism.  We must stand firm in our defense of America and fight for Faith, Family, and Freedom!

THE NEW REVOLUTION IN AMERICA, That is Not New At All…


What revolution are you talking about, Roy?  The Democrat Leninist-Marxist Revolution of the Fundamental Transformation of our American Republic into a Grecian-style Democracy or a Socialist Tyranny or both.  I have said it numerous times and had people respond with charges that I am nothing more than the little boy crying wolf and a conspiracist!  I believe that I am neither, but that is a judgment you must make for yourself. 

The oft-parodied slogan, “If You See Something Say Something” is woven into the fabric of my sensibilities.  I also believe in the biblical directive God gave Ezekiel to “warn the wicked” and “warn the people” of impending danger and wrong.  I believe that I have a duty, an obligation, and a moral mandate to do just that in life and that includes politics.

There is a discernable parallel between the New Democratic Socialist and the Bolshevik takeover in Russia that formed the USSR.  Those seeking power today in America and those in power within Russia differed very little in their ideology. The Democrats, presumed to be moderate and those on the far left differ very little.  Democrats, nationally, are Liberal Leftists Socialist Globalist and are chained together in a quest to wrest all power and control out of the hands of any opposition and Rule with their Iron Fist of Totalitarianism.  That may cause angst and even anger in the hearts of some but look at what is happening in America and tell me there is no concerted effort to alter who we are and transform us into what we were never intended to be.

Vladimir Lenin rose to power on the strength of an incredible lie and the fantasy of the collectivist.  He succeeded in forming and bringing to power the Communist Party dictatorship, which ruled with their Iron Fist for at least seven decades.  Lenin was a Karl Marx acolyte and his lie and that of the Bolsheviks is little different than the distortion of the New Democratic Socialist or Democrat Party today.  Those in power, like Lenin, do not believe in the Socialism and Collectivism they preach.  Lenin owned a Rolls-Royce and lived in luxury as do many of the purveyors of the Democratic Platform of today. 

The War that is being waged in America is a pincer movement in many ways and the complicity of the RINOs is dangerous and destructive.  That is another reason to purge from the ranks all the RINOs as well as those following the toxicity of the liberal agenda of the Democrats.  They are waging war on our American heritage, values, and freedoms.  One of their foremost battlefronts is ‘class warfare.’  

They learned in studying Lenin and other Communist tyrants that the most successful way to gain control is under the guise of fighting for “the people.”  That is the claim but what they are doing is ‘enslaving the people’ in their regulations and confiscation of rights and property.  Yet, millions are like the proverbial frog in the pan of water and are failing to realize that the temperature is being elevated to boiling and destruction.

The Democrats are selling an elixir which they insist will cure all the ills of society. They claim their ideological agenda will make the playing field level for everyone regardless of ability or effort, and provide endless freebies without out negative side-effects.  The image they seek to conjure in the minds of those not truly using the cognitive brain power and exercising rational reason is that there is an ‘endless supply of funds’ to facilitate their objectives and promises.  Any third-grader should know that is illogical, but those addicted to ‘government freebies’ and ‘entitlements’ do not think, they keep their hands out and their mouths open for more and more.  The idea and ideal of ‘earning’ what you have and ‘personal responsibility and accountability’ are anathema to their ideology.  God help us!

The assault on this president is unprecedented and something I have never witnessed in my life.  As bad as many on the Right thought the former administration’s policies were and the corruption of both the man and many of his associates, we did not take the current path.  I guess losing an election they thought impossible to lose and the impeding of their objective to complete the ‘fundamental transformation’ was too big and too bitter a pill to swallow.  Of course, there is more to it than that.  They are far less concerned about Donald Trump’s supposed collusion with a foreign government to steal an election than the loss of power.  Power is the opiate of Tyrants and Oligarchs and the New Democratic Party is filled with those who would be both.

The Democrats have shifted away from any semblance of moderation and compromise.  Their obstructionism has fueled riots, hate crimes, paranoia, phobias of numerous kinds, and created an impasse that could lead us to bloodshed in the streets of America.  That is disgusting, dangerous, and diabolical!  It is not done on a whim but has been a part of a planned and organized assault on the Republic and our Freedoms!  Doubt me if you please, but if you actually pay attention you will know there is validity in what I am saying, and the warnings are not to be taken lightly.

There is a War brewing within the ranks of the Democratic Party. Those who are called centrist are not dramatically different from those who are extreme leftists they struggle for power and control is ensuing.  Will that bode well for them in 2020?  Time will tell, but if the Republicans and President Trump are smart and they will use the ideological travesties of the Democrats and it will mean defeat for the Leftists.  However, if history is an indicator of the future, the Republican Establishment will fight Trump every step of the way and fail to fully get behind him and fail to focus on the Democrats failed policy offerings.  I pray that will not be the case!  America is too valuable a prize to allow infighting to destroy us. 

What could happen to the Democrats nationally if we work, pray, and encourage our elected officials to be smart and effective?  They could be soundly defeated. We must remember that political evil is readily apparent in today’s America and political evil comes in many forms.  However, the endgame is always the same: evil rulers rule the people while living lives of lavish luxury unaffected by the plight their policies inflict on the populace.  They promote Socialism while living lives of benefit from Capitalism.  They will not be affected by shortages, delays, or denials in healthcare nor suffer from the impossible burden of taxation and regulation.  They are Rulers and we are their Servants if they get what they want.  How America cannot see that is beyond my ability to comprehend.

I pray that the War within the factions of the Democratic Party will result in the irreparable fracturing of that Party.  If they lose, and I pray they do, they will cannibalize those not adhering to the Toxic Liberalism of the Leftists Socialist of the New Democratic Party.  If that happens they will be relegated to the ‘trash heap of history.’  Sadly, that will not solve America’s problem because a new entity will arise like the Phoenix from the ashes and the ugly head of the diabolical toxic liberalism, socialism, and globalism will win the hearts of the disenchanted. 

My conclusion is that there is a war within the ranks of both parties and there is a war by those on the Left against most of our foundational institutions including marriage, the right to life, the right of personal property, and all of our Liberties and Freedoms.  What can we do?  My approach is largely unchanging.  We Pray!  We Pray!  We Pray!  Then after we have Prayed we Work, Work, Work!  We become Involved!  The luxury of being a spectator in today’s world is no longer an option.  If we Spectate we Disintegrate as a Society!  How much is your Freedom worth to you?  That’s how involved you should be!
