It really doesn’t matter what we are talking about but when differing worldviews collide there are always casualties and frequently that includes the truly innocent.  We are living in a world where opposing worldviews politically, religiously, economically and socially are on collision courses and the fallout will be massive.

In the realm of religious beliefs we have opposing views with Islam on one side and every other religion in the world on the other.  War makes strange bedfellows it would seem but the two specifically in the cross-hairs of the fundamental followers of Islam are Christianity and Judaism.  We are seeing an ever rising tide of violence and brutality by Islamic jihadist toward both and the slaughter is reigning havoc and destruction on a host of people who are other than direct participants.  It is causing a level of distrust and animosity toward all Muslims by many because of fear due to what the jihadist are doing and if allowed to continue will eventually plunge the worldwide shooting war.  This, I believe, is predicted in the Bible and we are living in the generation observing it being walked out in real time and reality.

In the social realm of society we have opposing views on any number of things including same sex marriage, racial relations, abortion and many others that is triggering an outburst by what appears to often be small groups of well-organized activist having a social and economic impact on innocent bystanders.  Jobs are being lost due, lives traumatized so severely that some are having experiences that can only be likened to PTSD of our military.  (I do not want to disparage our troops but the trauma is real in this).  The sentiments on both sides of these issues is often deeply rooted and not easily quieted and anytime worlds collide people are hurt.  Again, I personally believe this is described in the Bible as characteristics of the Last Days that we are watching unfold before our eyes.

In the economic realm the opposing worlds of Free Market Capitalism and Marxist- Socialism with its redistribution mindset, jealousy toward success and quest for power and control the collision has been large but will become more pronounced in the days to come.  Groups such as the SEIU, this administration and various leftist activist groups are driving businesses from this country and out of business because of the regulations, demands, and costs.  Some want to put the blame on corporations and mom and pop businesses for wanting to make a profit and rail against the rich but if there were no corporations or small business people willing to invest and risk what would that do to the jobs market?  People that have no real interest in either side of this argument but simply want to work and earn a living are being damaged by the collision of these two worlds.  It is happening in real time and reality and those who have lost a job or find one comparable are among those being injured.

In the realm of politics the war between the two major parties is often more about control than upholding the Constitution or in the interest of the American people and who gets hurt when those two worlds collide?  Not the politicians but Mr. and Mrs. Average Citizen.  That person who wants to live in a Free Society, earn a living, care for their own and basically be left alone are the ones who most frequently feel the pinch of the political wars.  Politicians are all about POWER and MONEY not about Public Service and People.  I can understand why some have become so turned off by the political jockeying of the differing political worlds and have checked out refusing to vote or participate in the discussion.  They consider both major parties and some lesser parties, just variations of each other and to a degree they are right. 

My concern is that if we check out on any of those fronts we are not exempted from the fallout of the collisions.  If we check out, our detachment can empower both sides of that collision leaving them with no real feedback from the public about what we see, feel, believe, desire and demand.  They will continue to pad their bank accounts, create their networks, entrench themselves in the power grid and the average citizen will pay the price.  If it only affected the generation in which it occurred I’d say, “Fine, you allowed it you pay the penalty.”  It does not and successive generations who were not part of the process and innocent will suffer the most and that is tragic.  That is one of the many reasons I cannot be SILENT and will pray earnestly and work diligently for a Restored Republic in America.

We could be talking about anything but I am specifically talking about the two previous presidential elections and the one upcoming.  A significant number of people told me in 2008 they were voting for Barack H. Obama because it would be HISTORIC.  They gushed over what that would say to the world about how America had evolved socially, racially and politically to have the first black president.  I asked some of those same people before the 2012 elections of they were going to vote for the first black president again and some of them were almost violent in their antagonism toward me while some acknowledged they would.  I had one person say, “The first time was historic the second time is lunacy.”  Yet, he was given two terms in the Oval Office.

The dismantling of our Healthcare or Health Insurance industry alone is tragic.  But when you factor in the dismantling, shredding, side-stepping of the constitution, the fundamental transformation of our nation, eradication of our borders, the purging of our military, the increase in government regulations, the scandals and Gestapo like tactics of various governmental agencies such as the IRS, EPA and others this HISTORIC event has been incredibly detrimental for America and our Republic.  It was Historic but just because something is historic does not make it good or even desirable.

Some of those same people who voted for Barack H. Obama in 2008 are now telling me they plan to vote for Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2016 presuming she is the Democrat nominee because it would be HISTORIC.  Frankly, I have given up trying to talk to, educate or debate them for when one is that willfully out of touch logical and rational discussion is impossible.  HISTORIC?  Anyone that casts a ballot simply on the basis of gender or race is either racist, sexist or cretinous or all the above.

It would be HISTORIC for an earthquake of such epic proportions that the entire state of California crumbled into the sea but would that be good?  It would be HISTORIC for a hurricane of such size and power that the entire East Coast were destroyed but would that be good?  It would be HISTORIC for an EMT to be detonated in our atmosphere rendering the entire nation paralyzed electronically but would that be good?  Just because something is HISTORIC does not mean it is good and often it is the opposite.  It could be argued that it was HISTORIC for Hitler and the Nazi’s to commit the acts of the Holocaust but that does not mean it was good!  NO, just being historic does not equal being beneficial.

Politically, a Hillary presidency might be HISTORIC but would be more than Obama Part 2 it would be to ‘fast forward’ his agenda and prove to be even more destructive and detrimental for the American Experiment given us by the Founding Fathers.  I would like to see something HISTORIC transpire in the 2016 elections but not a Hillary presidency.  I have no problem with electing the first woman as president nor did I have a problem with the idea of a black man being president.  It is not what that is problematic for me it is who or whom.  If we take the pathway of voting to be HISTORIC then what is next?  Is it then incumbent upon us to elect the FIRST openly ‘gay’ president?  How about the FIRST openly ‘Muslim’ president?  (I did say openly).  That mindset is one that I pray dies away before the next elections but fear it will not.

How about this novel idea:  “Elect a president who actually loves America, honors the Constitution, will follow the Rule of Law, and considers National Security, Border Security and National Sovereignty important.”   THAT WOULD BE HISTORIC in our day!  Character and commitment to country were requirements in our past but in our present PC World seem to be viewed as detriments rather than benefits.  HISTORIC? 

Someone told me recently, “I want to be part of history.”  I must have had a stunned or amused look on my face based on their reaction and then said, “You are part of history.”  You may not be a major player in the facets of it but you are part of it.  I want to vote HISTORIC in 2016 and cast my ballot to elect a truly Conservative, Constitutional American who loves this nation, honors the Constitution and believes in the American Republic.

I had a fellow Christian ask, “Why do you hate Barack Obama so much?”  They were serious and I did not immediately dismiss the question but carefully examined my heart and weighed my response.  It is a serious allegation and one that I do not take lightly.  I refused to allow myself to become offended by the charge or question but rather to honestly examine my heart and answer the question.

I can honestly say that I DO NOT HATE the man Barack Obama.  I detest his policies, actions, ideology, politics and destructive actions toward America, our Freedom and the Constitution.  That I readily confess but I do not hate the individual.  I suspect that the driving force behind his actions goes beyond ideology and is spiritual in nature although not Christian.

It has been my observation over my few decades of existence on planet earth that a bully can only push so long before those being pushed push back.  I am concerned that this is the objective to push until some push back and open the door for a far more extensive use of Executive Orders to quell any civil disturbance that might ensue.  Over the past six years while in the White House he has repeatedly fanned the flames of division, hatred, racial discord, and anti-American sentiment.  He has taken actions that are certainly extra-constitutional if not outright unconstitutional, ignored the courts, congress and the voters.  He has exhibited all the characteristics of a tyrannical dictator who truly believes it is his destiny and right to RULE not govern but rule.

He has recently taken steps to grant amnesty to millions of illegals and now the mandate to all government personnel under his administration to cease calling ILLEGALS illegal and call them “Americans in Waiting.”  WHAT?  Before anyone tries to chastise me and declare that those from the other side of both borders are Americans (North Americans) might I suggest that neither, the Canadians or Mexicans consider themselves Americans but Canadians or Mexicans!  No one saying, American is thinking the generic North American but United States citizens.  So please do not approach the argument from the technicality of North America including Mexico, Canada and the U.S.A.  These ILLEGALS are not “Americans in Waiting” they are ILLEGALS and should be treated as such.  Mr. Obama has decreed that there will be ‘consequences’ for any ICE or government enforcement person who does not carry out his ILLEGAL Executive Order and carefully protect those ILLEGALS.

He proposed Executive Order to enact back door ‘gun control’ by targeting .5.56 M885 (.223) ammunition used by more than the AR15 rifle. He and they are calling it ‘armor piercing’ ammunition allowing sweeping classification and justifications to eliminate the ammunition rendering the rifles that use it useless.  He knows he cannot get Congress or the Court to give him legislation to ‘ban guns’ but since he has issued illegal order after illegal order with impunity why not take the next step?  Will his actions and that of the ATF be effective?  Although they have backed of briefly does not mean they have vacated the idea or plan.  I do not know with Congress being so weak-willed but I do not think Mr. Obama believes that millions of Americans will passively submit to the confiscation of our firearms and knows that there will likely be some type of confrontation sooner or later.  Is he trying to drive us to a civil war or something akin to the American Revolution?  I hope not but suspect that is exactly what he wants.  He has lived as Emperor for six years and those throughout the world he most admires are tyrants, dictators, despots and iron fisted rulers. 

The FCC under his direction and influence have moved forward to allow and enable the federal government to control the internet which will destroy freedom of the press and speech via that medium.  The Treasury will not explain a decision to make $3 Billion in Obamacare payments to the House Ways and Means Committee.  Where is all this leading?  If the direction continues there will be a push back from Americans.  Will the black community wake up and realize that he does not have their backs or will the seeds of hatred and bias prevent millions for awakening?  Will the Hispanics wake up and realize that they are nothing more than pawns that he and the leftist are using to dominate, control and rule?  If they along with the millions of so-called moderates and independents realize the game being played and the stakes America will see another revolt against a government gone rogue.  I AM NOT CALLING FOR WAR OR VIOLENCE.  I DO NOT WANT IT.  I am concerned that the Executive bullying will push America into a place where our police and military have to make difficult choices with regard to our Republic and Citizens.

We are living in some incredibly perilous and dangerous times and I will continue to pray for the souls of the individuals.  I will also work to expose their tactics, strategies and plans.  I love my God, my family, my freedom and my country and pray that Congress do their jobs, the courts do their jobs, the police and military do the right thing and America awakens from out of slumber.  If the sleeping giant of the multitudes ever awaken we will see a restored America but if they do not we are witnessing the demise of America as described in our Constitution and Bill of Rights.

I have heard for almost seven years now that we should have elected a president with more experience.  I do not necessarily disagree but I must ask, “Would more experience have changed Barack Obama?”  He is what he is because of his mentoring, training, beliefs, ideology and political faith not because of lack of experience.  In fact I would argue that had he had more executive experience he might have been even more destructive and dangerous not less.  He would have learned more ways to subvert the constitution, by-pass Congress and the courts.  No experience is not his problem political ideology is.

That brings me to the 2016 elections and the theory of experience in the candidates.  I am less concerned about executive experience than I am character.  I am not discounting experience for I consider it a valuable tool in helping an individual hone their skills as an executive and leader but if there are bankrupt in character they will NEVER be a good leader.  They may be adept in getting their agenda enacted in to law and swaying public opinion but their heart will not be honoring the constitution and doing what is best for the American people. Character is not learned through experience it will be demonstrated and rise to the surface during experiences.  What we need is not someone with a long resume of executive experience but lacking in moral mooring and character.  It would be wonderful to have a candidate who has both experience and character and a demonstrated resolve to stand firm in their defense of the Constitution of this Republic, the United States of America.

I do believe that former governors have valuable executive experience but do not discount people from private industry or congress.  If the sole qualification is having been a governor of a state large or small then I am unimpressed.  If the sole argument against the candidate is they have not served a full term in congress or never held a political office then I am not dissuaded in possibly supporting them.  As I stated previously, the top requisites for me are:  character, conservativism, constitutionalism and commitment to America and the Constitution.  Without those we will get nothing more than politics as usual albeit the politician may be polished having honed their political skills extensively.

I heard a talk show host declare that Hillary would likely not run due to the email scandal and would decide it is just too much to overcome.  I called the show but could not hold long enough to actually get on the air to counter that hypothesis.  Hillary has observed the lack of being held accountable by the current president for going on seven years.  She came through Benghazi largely unscathed and Whitewater had little impact.  She observed her husband Teflon Bill dodge bullet after bullet politically with no real impact.  She has been schooled in the art of deception watching the IRS scandal being swept under the rug, the Veteran’s Administration issue fading into a distant memory and many other things.  She and the Democrats have invested too much into her for her to even consider stepping aside.  The media has been the Democrat lapdog and the polls (real or fictional) are indicating she would beat any of the Republicans by double digits.  If that is being sold to the American public would you step back?  Only if your character demanded you to do so and since I do not see the evidence of character in her I would expect her to run and probably be the Democrat nominee.

What experience has Hillary or any of the candidates had running a nation such as the United States of America?  She claims to have been co-president but the last time I checked we do not have such an animal in American politics or in the constitution.  So while she was first-lady or first-woman she WAS NOT PRESIDENT.

I would argue that it would serve us well to move toward making CHARACTER the top qualification not EXPERIENCE.  We do not need an experienced professional politician who will grow government, further subvert our rights and liberties and further transform this Republic in to an Oligarchy or Tyranny.  We need another Washington, Jefferson, Coolidge or Reagan.  We need a man or woman regardless of ethnicity or experience who is articulate, committed to the constitution of this nation and will advance the policies that made this America great.

Seriously I need to find some to enable me to see the world through a Utopian paradigm as so many seem to, especially those on the far left and the Republican establishment.  I sometimes think I’m back in the 60’s and they have found the stash of psychedelic drugs that were in prevalent use in that era.  Although I did not use them I knew some who did and they would describe the Kaleidoscope world they saw saying, “It’s, cool man.”  Yeah right! 

I saw a poll some time back which declared Mitt Romney as the top choice of Republicans for president followed by Jeb Bush and Chris Christie.  Mitt Romney has since dropped out of consideration and Jeb Bush announced that after discussing with his family the type of leadership needed in America he was launching his pre-campaign campaign.  It is not that I just don’t want another Bush in the White House it is that I don’t want this Bush in the White House.  I do not want another liberal RINO at the top of the ticket and I most assuredly do not want any Republican that the uber-liberal Alan Colmes thinks is great.  If Mr. Colmes thinks Jeb Bush will be the next president and is okay with that the alarm bells begin ringing within my heart and head and I have to ask, “What is it about Jeb Bush that Mr. Colmes likes?”  Well, Mr. Bush is pro-Amnesty, pro-spending, pro-big government, and pro so many things that I am opposed to I pray that none of the top three in the polls are the nominee.  That being said, the Establishment Republicans will get their script from the media and leftist and promote someone unacceptable from a Constitutional or Conservative viewpoint.  Nothing new in that but where are those Utopian Glasses when I need them?

The liberals and many on the Republican side truly believe that if we grow government big enough, spend enough and have enough regulations, entitlement programs, and kowtow enough to our enemies America and our world will become a literal utopia.  Mr. Bush’s father was pro-world government, his brother while strong in national defense and support of the military was weak on many other fronts.  People are not going to beat their swords into plow shears and the weapons of war into pruning hooks UNTIL Jesus returns.  It is not going to happen by growing government, throwing money problems or negotiating some type of superficial settlement.  It is not going to happen by banning firearms or trying to play nice with terrorist and refusing to identify who and what they are.  It is not going to happen by waging shooting wars against anyone who disagrees with us.  Wars may be necessary or unavoidable from time to time but will never produce UTOPIA.

What we need is a true constitutional conservative at the top of the ticket who is capable of articulating what we believe not just what we are opposed to.  We do not need another milquetoast politician who has virtually zero concern for the constitution or the will of the people.  We need someone who embraces the views upon which our nation was founded, respects the rights of the people, defends the constitution and secures the borders. We need someone who will strengthen our national defense, reduce spending, advance a plan to reduce the deficit and shrink the overall size and scope of the federal government taking steps to return us to a Constitutional Republic.  But since that is not likely to happen with the current figures in power within both parties I need someone to hook me up with some Utopian Glasses so I can begin to sing ‘kum ba yah’ and fantasize about the Utopian world we are creating.

In our most recent mid-term elections we sent a clear message to Congress and the White House that we wanted CHANGE but not that which Obama was selling.  We were tired of the Republican wimpishness and wanted a demonstration of political fortitude to take a stand against Obamacare, Amnesty and the abuse of power by the White House.  We wanted and want our borders secured, our national defense strong, our constitution honored and our laws enforced.  We want reduced spending, intervention in the addiction the federal government has to money and power and separation of powers in the federal government.  But, since that does not seem to be a possibility someone give me a lead on where I can purchase a pair of Utopian glasses so I won’t see the dangers looming on the horizon and can bury my head in the sand along with the millions who are oblivious to the impending destruction.

In case you failed to tune in to the sarcasm, some of what I am saying is with ‘tongue in cheek’.  However most of my friends are intelligent thinking patriots who caught it immediately.  We need a Moses, not a Christian Bale Moses but a Bible Moses to step forward and lead us out of bondage.

            God help us is my cry!  God wake us up is my plea!  God restore us is my desire!  God bless you and God bless America!

Today many are focused on the end of the eight year reign of Barack Obama as though once his term is over that is the end of the damage but IT IS NOT!  The destruction he has inflicted upon America and our system of government is so far reaching and long lasting he has literally achieved his goal of ‘fundamental transformation’ of America.  The sad reality is that there are still millions who would vote for him again if he were allowed to run for a third term and that speaks to the real condition in our Republic or what used to be a Republic.

EXECUTIVE AMNESTY is one area in which we will be impacted negatively for decades if not permanently.  Tragically, should it be allowed to stand will be the death knell in a Free Constitutional America.  Going beyond the obvious desire of liberalism to solidify their power and voting bases with these ready-made Democrat voters who will be beholding to the leftist and government there is another issue that will likely destroy Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid in the future.  I will completely sidestep the issue and cost of Medicare and Medicaid and address a report by Robert Rector, a senior fellow at the Heritage Institute.  In that report Rector stated, and it appears that he is being conservative in his estimates, that it will cost $1.3 TRILLION in lifetime Social Security benefits alone.  His calculations are based on only 3.97 million ILLEGALS applying for and receiving ‘legal status’ under the Deferred Action for Parents of U.S. citizens.  He further estimates that they would receive $7.8 BILLION annually in Earned Income Credit and Refundable Child Tax Credit and that it could escalate to as much as $23.5 BILLION.  Each DAPA eligible family already receives approximately $6,600 in welfare benefits and that will exponentially increase under Obama Amnesty.  Then you factor in Obamacare benefits and numerous other government entitlements and the figures continue to soar.  Simply, we CANNOT AFFORD Obama Amnesty!

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY is another agency that is being used to wage war on our rights and liberties as citizens.  There are so many things to cite time and space would not allow an exhaustive list but one new one is they moved forward with what they are calling “WaterSense H2Otel Challenge” in February 2014 designed to identify how much individual water guests of hotels use for showers and encourage hotels to insure that people do not use water excessively.  This is being done as a voluntary program but like all things government voluntary becomes mandatory and ultimately usurps the constitution and our unalienable rights as citizens.  I am opposed to wasting water but would never want the federal government to mandate how much you can use in a shower in a hotel.  In my neighborhood I watched a road construction and city work crew turn on 4″-6″ pipes and pump water through them for days on end while the public was on water restrictions.  Car washes were able to use whatever they desires for business but I could only water my lawn on certain days and certain hours.  The situation of driving farmers out of business in California in the interest of saving a fish still chaps me royally so don’t get me started.

THE ALCOHOL, TOBACCO AND FIREARMS AGENCY’s actions are so far reaching and overreaching that they have almost become a para-legislative entity operating outside any legitimate oversight and without accountability to anyone but the President.  Their most recent move and subsequent backing off the AR-15 ammunition ban which is not a dead issue is an example of their apparent view of themselves as a virtual S.S. agency of Barack Obama.

THERE ARE LITERALLY HUNDREDS of Agencies, Sub-Agencies, Departments, and Sub-Departments within the federal government trampling on the constitution and our liberties and rights that go unnoticed and live beyond administrations.  They have become autonomous and virtually untouchable shielded from and effective congressional oversight and out of sight of WE THE PEOPLE.  All this is foreign to the Republic that our founders envisioned but a condition the federal bureaucracy has created and we have allowed to become reality.  STOPPING it now is almost impossible without a TOTAL RECONSTRUCTION of the federal government and that is not possible without men and women in Congress, the Courts and the White House who honor the Constitution and have enough fortitude and integrity to do what they were elected or nominated to do – PROTECT AND DEFEND the Constitution of these United States. 

God help us if we do not regain control of this monster now known as the federal government.  May God bless you and may God bless America again!

I have a number of friends who are adamant in their argument that Mr. Obama is “The Anti-Christ” and I have stopped trying to convince them he is not, but he is not.  He, in my view, is clearly ‘anti’ many things that have to do with biblical Christianity, the America our founders sought to establish and things conservative or constitutional but from my study of the Bible I do not believe he is THE Anti-Christ.  You may disagree that and that is your prerogative.

I have some friends who are persuaded that Mr. Obama is THE American Problem but I contend that he is THE Symptom of the problem and a small cog in a very large wheel. I most assuredly believe that he and his ilk are quite problematic but are only visible evidences of the larger problem in America.  That being said, I am fully persuaded that if we do not address the root cause of the problem and stop trying to treat symptoms we will lose the nation forever that our founders envisioned and labored so tirelessly to establish and perpetuate.  Their resolve to deal with the root cause produced the American Revolution, Independence and a nation that has risen to worldwide greatness.  They understood that the “root cause” had to be dealt with and that the symptoms were only visible evidences of a cancerous condition that would ultimately destroy their lives and rob them of their labors.  We too must come to that conclusion and identify the problem while looking beyond the symptoms.

Our founders, even those who were proponents of a strong central government opposed a bloated bureaucratic entity that would engulf the lives of the masses and swallow up the autonomy and authority of State Governments.  Thus they hammered out the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in an effort to insure that we would have a means and method to prevent and combat the monster that we have allowed to exist today.  Although some seemed to realize that potential problem  on the scale we see it today I seriously doubt any of them, in their worst nightmare, believed the American people would allow it to become reality, but we have.

Our founders gave us a bicameral legislature with a Senate and House of Representatives and gave specific and detailed powers to each as a protection for WE THE PEOPLE, the individual States and as a ‘check’ and ‘balance’ against an overreaching Executive Branch or a court that attempted to become legislative in nature.  They gave specific powers and restrictions to the Executive and Judicial branches in an effort to provide sufficient balance in power as to insure the preservation of the Republic thereby insuring our ability to pursue in peace Life, Liberty and Happiness.

They envisioned no situation in which monies from the Public Trust would be taken to establish or provide ‘welfare’ for they all believed and understood that charity had to be voluntary and was the responsibility of family, church and community not government.  Today we have allowed the problem to produce a welfare state that has exceeded 50% of the populace drawing some type of subsistence from the Federal or State Government and that is an unsustainable condition.  We keep trying or calling for REFORM when ABOLITION is the solution.  I fully understand that with more than 50% of the population dependent upon government it would produce a literal war were we to go cold-turkey and ABOLISH the causes of the problem but we must move that direction if we are to survive and reclaim that which we were given.

They envisioned no situation where Big Brother would use the bloated multilayered bureaucracy of various governmental agencies and departments to control the lives of the citizens.  Yet, today we give up a little liberty for what we think is safety and in so doing as Mr. Franklin declared, give up both in the process.  We have a problem today that has its roots in a diabolical plan of an almost ageless ideology that wishes to reduce the masses to servitude of the few who rule.  It goes beyond religious beliefs although those are being used to achieve the objective.  It goes beyond race relations although those are being used to achieve the discord and bring into captivity to an ideology that destroys our unalienable rights as detailed in our Constitution and Bill of Rights.  The ROOT PROBLEM is an ideological one that has inspired a dependence and a willingness to take without risk or labor rather than give, invest and risk all to achieve.  It has been eroding the very core principles, values and beliefs that gave birth to the nation known as the United States of America.  If we are to preserve or reclaim that Republic we must, as citizens follow our forefathers examples and acknowledge the hand of providence in our existence, retain our independence and allow a spirit of personal pride arise within our hearts once again that seeks to carve out our own niche in life rather than be on the dole with no drive or pride.  If we are to reclaim and preserve our LIBERTY and FREEDOM we must take control of our lives and government.  It is my hope and desire that we do this systematically and doggedly through peaceful means and refuse to be deterred or dissuaded.

I am convinced that the presence of ideologues like Barack Obama, most of the leftist and many of those who identify as Republicans are a symptom of the real problem and if we are to become physicians of value we must accept responsibility of ownership of our government and labor in prayer and tirelessly devote ourselves to the Republic.  Can we regain control and restore the Republic?  I honestly do not know but I know we must try.  My heart breaks for the millions that are being plunged into a state of dark despair and hopelessness and thus my mission in life has become:  Presentation of Faith, Perpetuation of Family, Preservation of Freedom and Pursuit of Fidelity seeking a society and nation that has a moral mooring that is unshakable and can once again rise to that position that Divine Providence led us to.

The American people, the Republic, the Constitution and the Courts all suffer almost irreparable damage.  The current occupant of the White House has long demonstrated a propensity for vindictiveness, retribution and revenge.  He apparently has such thin skin and fragile ego that any criticism is deemed a mortal sin and therefore must be eradicated.  He has demonstrated a total disregard for the constitution, congress and the courts while claiming a mandate from the people but ignoring their actions both at the voting booths and in surveys indicating their disapproval.  It is inconsequential to him and another reason I am 100% certain that he is a pathological narcissist incapable of grasping any reality than that manufactured in his mind.

When a president becomes paranoid and views all opposition as a mortal enemy as Richard Nixon and now Barack Obama everything about and in our system suffers and the most suffering is by WE THE PEOPLE.  When the Executive Officer of the nation goes rogue dismantling the constitution and imposing his will and ideology upon the courts, congress and the populace it is rightly identified as tyranny.  This type of usurping of the separation of powers as established by the Constitution of these United States is not just a bad practice it is possibly more dangerous than foreign enemies.  The framers of the American constitution envisioned a Republic wherein this would not be allowed by the other branches of government.  They did not envision a congress so weak-willed and timid they would give only token opposition and cower in fear at the threats of the Executive Branch.  They never envisioned a court that would virtually rubber stamp or side-step the issue of overreach by the Executive Branch.  They truly believed that each division of the tripartite we call government would rigorously defend its powers and resist at all cost usurpation of those powers.  That is not happening with the current leadership in the House or Senate leaving the constitution in shambles and WE THE PEOPLE gasping to breathe the air of Liberty.

The dangerous, unconstitutional and illegal use of various agencies under the auspices of the Executive Branch contravenes everything the founders sought to guarantee.  The total partisanship exhibited by Congress on almost everything done by this administration renders Congress impotent and inept in its constitutional duties and responsibilities toward WE THE PEOPLE whom they are supposed to be representing and serving.  The reality is they do not envision or understand their responsibilities as being our representatives but rather our rulers.  They do not embrace the idea of being a public servant but an intelligentsia who know best and complete liberty to disregard our wishes.  It would seem that the White House, Congress and often the Courts deem us as ‘ignorant’ and ‘unlearned’ when it comes to politics and governance.  We have been told more than once that because we are not privy to the inside information they have we could not possibly know what is best for us or the nation.  I find that repugnant.

We are standing on the precipice between liberty and tyranny; freedom and bondage and MUST stand together or we fall separately.  We must ultimately realize that we have arrived a one of those places men such as Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine, James Madison, John Adams and others warned could come.  Madison said, “All men having power ought to be distrusted to a certain degree.”  John Adams declared, “Power always thinks…that it is doing God’s service when it is violating all His laws.”  Jefferson warned, “Experience has shown, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.”  George Washington astutely declared, “It will be found an unjust and unwise jealousy to deprive a man of his natural liberty upon the supposition he may abuse it.”  They understood what WE THE PEOPLE seem to have forgotten that we MUST be the true overseers of government rather than been overseen by it as pawns in a global or national chess match.

When a President becomes vindictive, retaliatory, and vengeful seeking retribution upon those he deems political and ideological enemies he has vacated all reasonable justification for being in that position.  Sadly, the populace has demonstrated a willingness to be sheep led to the slaughter and a blindness to the constitutional dangers bringing us to the position and condition we find ourselves in America.  I have concluded that while we dare not give up the fight that without divine intervention by Jehovah God Himself we have been silent and blind too long.  Therefore, my efforts will continue but become secondary to my desire and willingness to intercede for my nation.

I am hearing more and more the ideology that I can only term as ‘Fortress America’ mentality.  I have a number of friends and acquaintances who ascribe to the view that we should withdraw from everything outside our borders and simply ‘fortify’ America letting the rest of the world go their merry way without us.  I realize that I will likely ruffle a few feathers but may I point out my objections?

First, our borders are not and will not be secured in the foreseeable future either by this administration of the next.  If we were to engage in a policy today of having a totally secure border it would be a virtual impossibility to guarantee.  The borders are too vast, the means are too limited to guarantee that.  I fully support a  serious effort to secure our borders from ALL ILLEGALS regardless of their nationality or ideology.  That only addresses our land based borders.  What do we do about the thousands of miles of coastline that are impossible to monitor and guard.  The NOAA shoreline length calculation of 95,471 miles was determined by hand in 1939-40 with a recording instrument on the largest-scale charts and maps available at that time.  It would be relatively easy for a swimmer to come in from a submarine or small boat somewhere along those miles and bring things like suitcase nukes with them.  So trying to have a FORTRESS AMERICA is as much a pipe-dream as the Utopian ideology of this administration.  It is not accepting reality.

            Secondly, if we withdraw from all points outside the United States we place ourselves in a significant disadvantage if something threatens our national defense or threatens our friends around the globe.  I do not want America to engage in nation building or serve as the world’s police force but I also do not want us to give up our strategic position of being able to place boots on the ground or equipment anywhere in short order.  Could we scale back in some of our endeavors or bases?  Most likely but I do not want us to close them all for I believe that would negatively impact our ability to defend ourselves and take out the enemy before they were able to invade our shores en masse.

Thirdly, if we attempt to become FORTRESS AMERICA we convey to our friends and enemies that we are isolationist and not a nation to be relied on.  That position would endanger our friends and embolden our enemies.  I fully support having a foreign aid budget each year that begins at ZERO dollars and only give aid to those who are our friends and only in the amounts that can be justified with regard to national security.  I know that leaves a little wiggle room for politicians but totally cutting ourselves off from the rest of the world is not in our best interest, politically, morally, economically or nationally.  Our presence, the visibleness of our might, ability and willingness to take action will advance peace whereas isolationism will advance chaos globally.

            Islamic terrorist are becoming more sophisticated in their training, equipment, technology and strategy and if we isolate ourselves we allow them free-reign to advance their evil and ultimately bring the war to our shores.  If we can prevent that we must, in my view.  We need an administration and congress with the backbone to stand against evil and if it becomes necessary to fight we must FIGHT TO WIN.  Wars are not won with leaflets and appeasement.  Wars are won by eliminating enough of the enemy that they cease their struggle and concede.  If we refuse to acknowledge the enemy or the existence of declared war against us we are doomed for failure.  We cannot fight this as a political war.  If war is to be waged it must be done militarily.  We have not fought a war with the determination to win since World War II and are paying a high price for our failure.

I want a president and congress who first and foremost want to keep America free and safe.  I want leaders who are strong enough to face down the enemy, uphold the constitution and demonstrate a patriotic determination toward America and the American people.  We do not have that at this time and only by the grace of God and diligence of those working to keep us safe behind the scenes have we avoided another 9/11.  That will soon change if we continue on the current path or move dramatically toward FORTRESS AMERICA.
