WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?

I have some who seek to challenge my concerns that if Hillary Clinton and the liberal leftist continue in power as President and possibly reclaim the Senate and make inroads into the House of Representative that we could or will LOSE THE REPUBLIC.  Their view is that America has survived in the past and four years will make little difference.  To that assertion, I have to ask, “Have the past eight years been simply a ho-hum period or has it be incredibly detrimental to the condition, position, and future of our Republic?”  I would also ask, “Have we witnessed any erosions of our inalienable rights and constitutional liberties?”  I must ask, “Can you honestly say the past eight years are inconsequential and have not been incredibly detrimental to the Republic?”  If you can, then elect Hillary Clinton and we will all likely go down together and you can apologize later, but your apology won’t be of any value or comfort.

What difference does it make who is on the Supreme Court?  It is the difference between a rubber stamp court that enables, empowers, and expands the leftist agenda stripping us of various constitutional rights.  It is the difference in maintaining our freedom of speech, religion, and other rights or becoming subjected to an all-powerful overreaching federal government that forces political correctness upon us.  It is the difference in having a government of the people, for the people, and by the people or an oligarchy or tyranny that is dictatorial.  What difference does it make?  In my view, it makes all the difference in the world.

What difference does it make who is Commander in Chief?  It is the difference in a strong national defense, secure border, and a military capable of protecting and defending America.  It is the difference in a strong standing in the world where we are respected if not feared or both or adopting such a corrupt and inept foreign policy that our friends do not trust us and our enemies do not fear us.  It is the difference in remaining a free sovereign republic or simply a member of a world without borders where national sovereignty is a historic memory rather than a reality.  What difference does it make?  In my view, it makes all the difference in the world.

What difference does it make who controls the Senate and House of Representative?  It is the difference, or should be, in maintaining a valid and proper separation of powers in Washington and providing the constitutional ‘checks and balances.’  It makes a difference in whether our right to Freedom of Speech and Religion are maintained as inalienable rights or subjected to governmental decrees and edicts.  It makes a difference in our Right to Keep and Bear Arms and the right and ability for ‘self-defense.’  It makes a difference in the Right to Life and addressing the rights of the unborn.  It makes a difference in how we deal with the ever increasing push of Washington to become our lord and master.  What difference does it make?  In my view, it makes all the difference in the world.

If the Supreme Court were packed with liberal activist jurist the constitution would become meaningless and the leftist would have a free pathway to the “fundamental transformation” that Barack Obama has begun and Hillary Clinton has acknowledged she not only wants to continue but expand.  Can we lose the Republic because of this election?  NOT BECAUSE OF ONE ELECTION but as the result of a culmination of years of the leftist agenda to completely reinterpret and invalidate our Constitution.  YES, we can lose the Republic after this election and YES, we can lose it in four years.  Once this snowball begins rolling down the hill there will be nothing in its way to prevent it from happening short of a full blown 1776 type rebellion and resistance.  DO I WANT THAT?  No, I do not.  I want to see us restore the Republic to its constitutional status and fully believe with the history, stated policy and probable agenda and actions of Hillary Clinton and the Democrats we will see such destruction to our Republic it becomes unrepairable.  THEREFORE, call me whatever you please and accuse me of overstating my position and concerns but please at least consider the real problems faced in a Hillary Clinton presidency.

SANCTIMONIOUSNESS – What Are They Protecting?

I have hesitated for days to actually post these thoughts because I know they may be misunderstood or considered unforgivably offensive to some.  Yes, I am talking about the recent attacks on Donald Trump and the Republicans who are distancing themselves from him claiming the moral high ground.  I personally am having difficulty not viewing their actions and words as sanctimonious and wonder what is the motivation behind their actions.  Why this? Why now?

Congresswoman Kay Granger from Fort Worth said that the video of Donald Trump recently to surface was so offensive to women that she could only call for him to remove himself from the presidential race.  I carefully weighed her words and actions and wondered how she could find Donald Trump’s words more offensive than Hillary Clinton’s lies to Congress, the FBI, and the American people regarding Benghazi, her emails, Bill Clinton’s sexual escapades and Hillary’s attack on his accusers, and much more.  I wondered how Hillary Clinton’s position on partial birth abortions did not offend Ms. Granger’s moral sensibilities.  I wondered how the ongoing revelation of the dirty tricks of the Clinton camp and the Democrat Establishment to stack the deck on Bernie Sanders and the collusion with some of the debate moderators was not offensive.  I thought, Ms. Granger if you are so fragile that you would take the stance that the country was less important than some appearance of your moral stance message why don’t you resign from Congress and get out of the dirty business of politics.

NO, the language of Donald Trump is not defensible and I have never nor never will attempt to do so.  However, that is not the biggest issue in this election.  America is the biggest prize on the table.  How could anyone even remotely consider taking actions that would facilitate the ascension of Hillary Clinton to the White House and the presidency?  The stance of Congresswoman Granger, Congressman Paul Ryan, the Bushes, and countless other Republicans many declaring they will vote NO on Donald Trump or vote YES on Hillary Clinton smacks with Sanctimony for it places personal preference, egos, and grudges over the nation.  You may totally disagree and that is your God-given and Constitutional Right to do so.  But, please do not tell me that it is the only moral position you can take and somehow paint the Clinton’s as moral.  That would be offensive!  The Clinton’s are, in my opinion, beyond amoral and are immoral, unethical, diabolical, and dangerous to America and Americans.  Therefore, it is impossible for me to view any Republican who claims to be a Constitutionalist and/or conservative as taking a moral and principled stance to prevent Donald Trump from winning the election as justifiable.  There are no MORAL CANDIDATES in this presidential election and either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton will be the next president.  That leads to the question, “Is, it moral and principled to turn the republic over to a person who espouses views that are anathema to our Constitution and Founding Father’s America?”

I keep wondering, why there is so much hate toward Donald Trump that is not equally shared by Hillary Clinton by many Republicans?  What is it about a Donald Trump Presidency that makes Hillary Clinton palatable or desirable?  Why was there not a moral outrage by those Republicans, Democrats, Media, and Americans when Bill Clinton’s sexual escapades were revealed as there has been with regard to Mr. Trump?  Unfortunately, we heard, “It is his private life and therefore should not be considered.”  We also heard the argument, “Well, it’s only sex and not something significant enough to disqualify him for being president.”  Hillary lies about Benghazi and her emails and there is no outrage, on moral grounds, for her lack of ethical behavior and her character failure in those and other things.  NO, the Clinton’s are exempt, it would seem, and I cannot imagine any Republican truly believing that what Donald Trump said, as offensive as it was, is worse than the Clintons and the prospect of four more years of the destructiveness of the Obama policies.  Therefore, I can only conclude it is more than being Sanctimonious.  There is something the Establishment Politicians are hiding  and are attempting to protect and defend against.

When Republicans demonstrate a willingness to lose one or both Houses of Congress and the White House to keep Mr. Trump from becoming President, I ask why?   Is it their fear of the ‘ole boy system’ being dismantled?   Is it fear of losing the ability to operate in the shadows and build their empires and networks on the backs of the America people while claiming to be fighting for us?  Is it fear of losing control?  Is it fear of losing power?  Is it fear they might actually have to take a definitive stand that would enable the American people to rightly interpret their actions and intentions?  WHAT IS IT?  It is either misguidedly sanctimonious or it is diabolical and either way, America loses.  Republicans and all who love Freedom and the Constitutional Republic if you are willing to allow Hillary Clinton and the Democrats keep the White House and reclaim the Senate and possibly the House, for whatever reason, I fear you have abandoned your commitment to Conservative Principles, the people, and the Constitution.  Let me say it more nicely.  I believe you have overlooked the incredible danger and destructiveness of a Hillary Clinton Presidency!

Regardless of how disturbed I am over some of the things Mr. Trump has said and done, America is more important to me than personality.  Do I trust Donald Trump 100%?  Absolutely Not!  However, he is, in my view, our only option between the two because Hillary Clinton will pack the Supreme Court with liberal activist judges, destroy the economy, wage war on our constitutional rights, eliminate our border, weaken our military, and jeopardize our national security.  That is unacceptable to me on any level.  My moral principles are disturbed over the candidates but America’s survival and future have to take top priority to me.  Therefore, I am not voting for Donald Trump as a MORAL VOTE but a NECESSARY VOTE. 

My prayer is that America will cease allowing the media and leftist dictate how we should feel and what we should think.  My prayer is that America will cease allowing the manipulation by the leftist force us into such political correctness we ignore the real prize and objective.  I hope we have not come to the place where it is okay to sexually assault women, lie to the public, endanger national security and do harm to the republic is okay but if you use offensive words you are toast.  I am offended by Mr. Trump’s words and I am offended by the Republicans deserting the Party and I am offended by the Sanctimoniousness in this matter.  Now, I will get down off my soap box and take whatever heat comes to me for my rant.  But, know this, for me it is AMERICA FIRST and PERSONALITY LAST in the presidential election.  As always I stand for FAITH, FAMILY, and FREEDOM!

TOP TEN CONCERNS FOR AMERICANS IN 2016…

According to a poll released by USA Today, I am stunned that Hillary Clinton could still be in the race and even leading according to most polls.  If this poll is even remotely accurate, I can only conclude that millions are not voting based on their genuine fears and concerns but along emotional or political party lines.  They are not using reason, connecting the dots, and using any semblance of cognitive judgment in their voting.  If that is the case, we are way up the proverbial creek and the stuff is too thick to paddle in.  WE ARE IN DEEP TROUBLE!

Let me give you the poll and make a few comments and you can decide for yourself which candidate would best alleviate or address these fears.  I will take the list from the number one to the number ten concerns or fears.

  1. Corruption of Government Officials (Same top fear as 2015) – 60.6%.  Imagine that.  Corruption of government officials and yet Hillary Clinton one of the most corrupt politicians of modern times is still considered the frontrunner in this election.  You cannot attribute or connect Donald Trump to the corruption presently in government because he has not been there.  He has contributed to politicians but he has not been a part of the DC Corruption but Hillary has!
  2. Terrorist Attacks – 41%.  Now, I ask which candidate has a more definitive approach to dealing with terrorism?  Hillary Clinton was part of the Obama administration that largely created the vacuum from which ISIS originated.  They weak-willed and pussy footing around the issue of Islamic Terrorism not Donald Trump’s comments has facilitated, emboldened, and often empowered terrorist.  The Iran deal has funneled huge sums that are going directly to terrorist organizations.  So, again, how are people still considering Hillary?
  3. Not Having Enough Money for the Future – 39.9%.  Amazing, Hillary wants to continue the War on Fossil Fuels, continue and increase stifling government regulations, push forward with the TPP a bad trade agreement, continue Obamacare, and increase Taxes.  That would cripple the economy and push millions more into the unemployment lines.  Trump, on the other hand, has expressed a desire to lower taxes, reduce stifling regulations, repeal Obamacare, and redo the TPP and other bad trade deals.  Yet, Hillary is still being seriously considered for President.
  4. Being a Victim of Terror – 38.5%.  How can that be, since millions are going to vote for Hillary who, along with Barack Obama tell us that the massive influx of refugees largely unvetted, an open border, and an unwillingness to address the issue.  Can’t figure that one out either.
  5. Government Restrictions on Firearms and Ammunition – 38.5%.  This is a slam dunk.  Hillary is on the record wanting more and more gun control even though she claims to be strongly in favor of the 2nd Amendment.  Her record and rhetoric do not match.  How could anyone, wanting to preserve the 2nd Amendment cast a ballot for her?  Impossible to comprehend.
  6. People I Love Dying – 38.1%.  Other than Obamacare’s impact this is not something that either candidate can alleviate.
  7. Economic or Financial Collapse – 37.5%.  If you believe in the failed policies of the Democrats that involve higher taxes and more spending, then Hillary is your Huckleberry.  However, if you understand basic economics and factual history you know that by lowering taxes across the board the economy gains impetus and becomes stronger.  Only one choice in this category and it is not Hillary.
  8. Identity Theft – 37.1%.  Hello, Life Lock.  This is a genuine concern and with Obama’s giving our control of the Internet and Hillary’s agreement and complicity, how is this not a NEVER HILLARY issue?
  9. People I Love Becoming Seriously Ill – 35.9%.  Again, other than the impact of Obamacare this is not something that either politician can address.  It is part of life.
  10. The Affordable Health Care Act – Obamacare – 35.5%.  That alone should guarantee that Hillary Clinton never becomes President.  She will not only expand Obamacare but transform it into a Single Payer System.  She said as much in the 2nd debate when she alluded to Medicare as being Single Payer.  She said, “And it is working pretty good.”  Actually, it isn’t and with the expansion of Medicaid in conjunction to Obamacare, we are burying ourselves in red tape and a cost factor we can no longer calculate.  Yet, millions will pull the lever for Hillary Clinton in November.  The very person who will guaranteed your fears are realized.  HOW CAN THAT BE?

 

Therefore, I reiterate what I said in the beginning.  If these concerns are factual and this poll is even remotely accurate, people are voting with a blind loyalty that is illogical and irrational.  They are voting based on the rhetoric, spin, and manipulation by the Media, the Leftist, Liberals, Progressives, and finding willing partners in the Republican Establishment.  America is being sold down the river because politicians want power and have no concern for America.  God help us if we cannot somehow communicate these realities to the voters.  Mr. Trump, please focus on what you will do to CHANGE what is wrong and resist the tendency to get into Twitter Wars the left continually tries to bait you with.  ARTICULATE YOUR POSITION and you can win.  I am convinced if you would or could do that, you would see a Reagan type victory because AMERICANS ARE FED UP WITH POLITICS and POLITICIANS.   This is America we are fighting for!

IS SILENCE ALWAYS GOLDEN???

I continue to have Christians and Secularist tell me that I should BE SILENT on matters political as a Christian because it is unallowable Constitutionally and some even suggest morally or ethically.  As you well know, I adamantly disagree based on my interpretation of the teachings of the Bible, the wording of the American Constitution, and the many writings of our Founding Fathers.  I am 100% convinced their purpose was not to prevent Christians, Religion, or the Bible from having any influence or involvement in matters of civil government but to prevent the government from mandating a religion or forming a State Religion.  They sought Freedom of Speech and that included and includes the right of Christians to speak on matters of politics and vice versa.  NO, I do not believe the Church should control the government and mandate it follow any particular religious view nor do I believe the government should control the Church and dictate to it what it can teach and where it can speak.  I do believe there is a clear separation in function not an isolation or banishment of religion from matters political.

Let me ask, realizing that my questions are most basic.  If we see someone in grave danger and we could warn them should we warn them?  If we see a building on fire should we sound the alarm?  If we have a friend about to make a tragic mistake should we sit silent and allow them to do so without proper warning or caution?  If our children were doing things that endangered their lives and livelihood should we sit silently?  If someone says, “I’m going to kill that person” would our silence be construed as consent or should we point out the flaws and wrongness of their actions?  If you have a friend contemplating marital infidelity should you warn of the negatives of that decision?  Would or could your silence be construed as consent by your friend, their spouse, and others who discovered the situation and your action?  I have heard all my life, “Silence is Golden” and “If you cannot say something good, don’t say anything.”  Well, if I know an action is going to bring harm and possible destruction and I cannot say anything good about the plan to carry out the action am I mandated SIT SILENT?  Please don’t do that to me if you see me making that kind of mistake.  SPEAK UP, SPEAK LOUDLY, and SPEAK FORCEFULLY, Please!

Okay, with regard to America as the Constitutional Republic our Founding Father’s established and we have enjoyed for 240 years if we see danger and destruction how can we sit silent?  I do not want to see churches become nothing more than Political Action Committees for candidates but I do want pastors to speak the truth and expose danger while pointing to real solutions.  Is it wrong for pastors to speak about racial discord and point out the spiritual negatives of racism and improper interaction between people?  Is it wrong for pastors to speak about infidelity and warn of the dangers of succumbing to those actions or lifestyles?  Is it wrong for pastors to enumerate and speak against anti-biblical government policies that bring harm to the citizens, fight against the work of God, and bring harm to the entire nation?  Political Correctness and the weapon of the Internal Revenue Service threatening the ‘tax exempt status’ of churches because they dare voice a biblical view that decries a political agenda or policy are dangerous.

In our beginning, as a nation, the Pastors were loud, vocal, and persistent about many matters political because they understood that politics affects life and if we allow unscrupulous men, women, or political agendas to prevail we harm people.  As I see, I must speak, and as I speak, I must pray.  Therefore, I will speak without fear of what man may do to me and ‘warn of dangers’ and point to the only true and real solution, GOD.  In preserving the Republic and our Freedoms it often becomes necessary to speak out against a candidate, policy or political party and that I now do.  The Democrat Nominee for President, Hillary Rodham Clinton, is a danger to America and will do great damage if not destroy our Rights and Liberties the constitution recognizes and guarantees.  Therefore, I will VOTE AGAINST the Democratic Nominee in November and that means I will cast my ballot for the Republican.  WHY?  In my view, if I allow Hillary to become President and the Leftist to keep the Executive Branch America may be lost forever!

RELIGION, POLITICS, and FRIENDSHIPS…

I don’t know about you but I have found that some of the most volatile topics of conversation, even among friends are RELIGION and POLITICS.  Of course, I could add ‘sports’ to that list but that, in my experience, it is not nearly so caustic as the other two.  I have found that people who are normally reasonably even-keeled and even passive about many things can become aggressively hostile with either of those two topics are brought to the table.  People who claim to be ‘tolerant’ and ‘open-minded’ will, often, become so closed minded the light of day could not enter their minds.  I have found this to be incredibly true in this present political cycle where the choices are an extreme leftist, liberal, progressive, socialist Democrat and an often caustic Republican, third party or not voting at all.  The undecided segment seems to me to be decided even when they argue they are not!

I have been ‘unfriended’ more times on Facebook because of my political views this year than all previous years combined on this medium.  I have also been given the ‘left foot of fellowship’ over my religious views especially when I connect them to my political views.  There are some who have informed me that “Religion and Politics” are like ‘oil and water’ they cannot and should not be mixed.  They argue that one’s ‘religious or spiritual life’ should be totally separate from their ‘political life’.  The rub comes when I challenge or question that position for how can I divest myself of what I believe for it determines who I am.  My religion defines my worldview and shapes my politics and politics affects every area of life so both are incredibly important, in my view.

I have some current and former friends who have been and some still are, irate with me because I declare that I believe the most principled thing I can do in this election is STOP HILLARY CLINTON.  That flies in the face of their position that ‘voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil.’  When I attempt to bring to the table for consideration the stance of Hillary Clinton and the willingness and participation of the Leftist Democrats to wage war on Christianity they become angry.  We are witnessing a genuine War on Christianity and that can be documented in numerous ways with specific examples.

How about the irony of a black Christian named Kelvin Cochran that Barack Obama appointed to head the National Fire Administration?  The mayor of Atlanta requested that Mr. Cochran return to his hometown and rebuild the Fire Department.  Mr. Cochran accepted and when the city council reviewed his biblical view of marriage they fired him on the spot.  How about the Cal State intern being terminated and threatened with expulsion from the graduate program for discussing her faith PRIVATELY!  Then, who could forget the assault on businesses for standing by religious convictions regarding ‘same-sex marriages’ or the 5 Houston pastors who voiced, publicly, their views that were contrary to the PC crowd’s demands and the LGBT agenda?  The mayor of Houston had the city issued subpoenas demanding the sermons of pastors that dealt with homosexuality, gender identity and the like.  If they failed to comply they would be held in contempt of court.  Thankfully that failed but it was a ‘test case’ issue and had the leftist been successful what would have been next and what will be next?

If Hillary Clinton is at the helm of the Ship of State there is no question she will steer the course for a direct assault on Christianity, the Bible, and our Constitutional liberties and rights.  The danger in allowing her to become president extends beyond that issue but to every issue that is critical to our Constitutional Freedom.  Examine how the Republicans have cowered away for any serious confrontation with Barack Obama because they feared the outcry from the media and Democrats in opposing the ‘First Black President.’  Imagine what they would do with the “First Woman or Female President?”  She would, as Mr. Obama has, enjoy a virtual blank check to continue her assault on our religious liberties and constitutional guarantees of Freedom of Religion as well as other rights.

Our present government and bureaucracies, as well as some local governments, have taken serious steps to open the door to Sharia Law and protecting the religious as well as political rights of the followers of Islam.  They take no such pains regarding Christianity but when it comes to protecting and defending Muslims they are front and center with a vengeance.  It is a genuine and valid concern that if Hillary Clinton becomes the 45th President of the United States we will see the door that is now cracked open, flung wide for Sharia Law to become prevalent in this nation.  CAN YOU ACCEPT THAT?  Remember that Loretta Lynch the Attorney General has vowed to prosecute anyone speaking badly of Islam.  There is no such promise regarding anyone speaking badly of Christ or Christianity.  So you decide if my concerns have any validity.

My argument is that I or we must STOP HILLARY and the Leftist from winning in November and while some insist that voting for Donald Trump would be a violation of principle and they will refuse and some have even said they will vote for Hillary.  I do believe that the most principled thing I can do, in the interest of Freedom and Liberty is to VOTE AGAINST HILLARY CLINTON and the best way I see of stopping her is to VOTE FOR DONALD TRUMP.  Remember it was Hillary Clinton that declared that “it takes a village to raise a child.”  She has expressed and demonstrated a view that the government knows better than parents and churches how to properly train our children.  She is willing to see our children taken from us in order to properly (her view) train them so they will be better able to function in her envisioned society.

Yes, I am one of the 70% of Americans who have experienced the worst in people and the 7% who have lost friends because of my views.  I’m sorry if my willingness and sense of the need to discuss both ‘Religion and Politics’ is offensive to you.  Turn me off, ignore me, refuse to talk to me if you please but I plead with you to consider the real dangers in allowing Hillary Clinton to occupy the White House and Oval Office as Commander in Chief.  For the record, I am more concerned about honoring the King of Kings than who is President of the United States but I also believe that I have a directive from God to “warn of wickedness” and that if I know to do good and fail to do it I have sinned!  I seek God first and speak that which I see and hear to warn people to feel the destruction coming because not all acknowledge God and if this train of destruction reaches its destination they may not have the opportunity to hear the gospel.  Therefore I firmly stand for FAITH, FAMILY, and FREEDOM!

IS THE MODERN DEMOCRAT PARTY UNREDEEMABLE???

Immediately, I’m sure, that title cost me some friends on Facebook but is it a question that cannot be asked and discussed in a civil and reasoned tone?   If it cannot, then the answer is so painfully obvious further discussion would be meaningless.  Our American heritage has been that we are a nation where differences of opinion are not only allowable but welcome and hearty discussion desirable when kept civil.  We all know the result of debate or discussion that allows anger or hate to overrule reason and I hope none of us want that.  It is possible to disagree without being disagreeable, but sometimes in politics, I’m not sure.

There is a quote from the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia on September 17, 1787, when the debates, discussion, and compromises were completed and the delegates were signing the newly framed American Constitution that is worthy of note.  It came from an observation by Benjamin Franklin and as was often the case, he gave an impassioned and eloquent speech to the delegates and to posterity.  James Madison recorded Franklin’s comments in his notes in the following manner:

             Our founding fathers hammered out a system of government that had the necessary ‘checks and balances’ to survive as the Democratic Republic and conceivably could last into perpetuity.  That was provided those ‘checks and balances’ were observed, carefully guarded, and that those serving in elected offices were scrupulous people who were guided by a moral mooring and loved Liberty and Freedom more than Power and Position.  Those men could envision no other than ‘Citizen Representatives’ serving in Congress who would serve a short time and return to private life and live subject to the very laws and regulations they enacted.  Unfortunately, that ship has sailed and is one of the reasons for my title question.

Today, we have a Democrat Party, which, by and large, is dominated by a Socialist, Progressive, Authoritarian ideological view.  Their belief is that ‘government’ not ‘God’ is the source of rights, liberties, privileges, and benefits.  What began in the 1930’s in the Democrat Party began to clearly transform itself into the Party which sought an ever increasingly strong and powerful Central Government and a people that would accept government as their salvation and provider.  The words of John Adams now fall on deaf ears, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.  It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”  I wonder if the Democrat Party of 2016 has passed the line of demarcation never to return and has become incurably socialist.  You may find that palatable and even desirable, I do not!

Possibly the greater tragedy is that the Republican Establishment seems to be committed to facilitating much of the Leftist Ideological Agenda and is rapidly becoming if it has not already become, “Democrat-Lite” or “Socialist-Lite”.  Is the desire for Power, Position, and Purse so compelling they have abandoned the founding principles upon which this nation was birthed and has kept us Free for over Two-Centuries that overpowering?  The decline and fall of the Roman Empire are, in many ways being repeated in America.  We are becoming or have become a carbon copy of the failing European Policies and UNLESS we stop this train of destruction and reverse the course we will see America, the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave no more!  The absence of proper and definitive ‘checks and balances’ in Washington is destroying our system of government.  The eradication of our borders allowing uncontrolled and unchecked immigration, legal and illegal is destroying our National Sovereignty and a grave danger to our National Security.  Our unbridled appetite, in Washington, for spending and taxing is bankrupting our country and we are burdening future generations with a bill they can never pay while selling our national souls to foreign powers and deep-pocketed ideologues who want a Centralized World Oder to rule.  The never ceasing increase in entitlements where about 50% of our society is dependent on the federal government for some form of subsistence is destroying the very ethic and fabric that make America the America which has been a Hope for the world.  The assault on our 1st and 2nd Amendment Rights is resulting in a PC Police State where the only logical next step, in their minds, is not just control and censorship but “Thought Control.”  The Brainwashing of our youth is paying large dividends in their scheme.  We have or are becoming a totally ‘secular state’ and when we evict God from society decline is the only possible course and that nation will fall and people will no longer remain free.

I call on my friends, acquaintances, and anyone to whom I can get an audience, Please, Please, Please PRAY and give careful consideration to where we are and chart, in your mind, our ultimate end if we continue.  Our founders gave us a beautiful and workable system of government and yet millions are desirous to move from a system that maintains Freedom and Liberty to one that makes Government the god of the land and the all-powerful provider.  That is, in a nutshell, the choice we have in November – Freedom or Bondage!  Republican Democracy in a Constitutional Republic or a system of Socialism which makes Government the owner of everyone and everything.  I CHOOSE FREEDOM!

What I am referring to is one of the lies that Hillary uttered during the debate about the “Worst Recession since the 1930’s” and blaming it on the Republicans and Tax Reductions.  The Democrats are using ‘smoke and mirrors’ to cook the books, skew statistics, and present outright fabrications to suggest that what happened was failed tax policies of conservatives or Republicans.  She suggested that it was the astute political and economic savvy of her husband William Jefferson Clinton otherwise known as Slick Willy that gave us a wonderful world only to see it destroyed by the policies of George W. Bush and the dastardly Republicans.  Where is Newt when you need him?

Had it not been for Newt Gingrich and the Republican Congress Bill Clinton’s administration would have buried us in a financial morass.  With the help of the Republicans, spearheaded by Newt, they worked a balanced budget deal that gave some stability and produced a surplus.  Do I give any credit to Bill Clinton?  Yes, in that he had sense enough to listen to the Republicans on some issues and was politician enough that he adapted to his environment and changed directions, at least a little.  That is not in the DNA of Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton nor is it in the leftist wing of the Democrat Party.  The Tax and Spend Liberals know no other song but, “Spend, Spend, Spend, and Tax, Tax, Tax.”  In their leftist socialist view, it all belongs to the government and we should be grateful for what little they let us keep and never mention their failures.  How dare we, the lowly peons question the mighty?

The Recession of 2008 was not, as Hillary said, “…in large part caused because of the tax policies of the Bush administration…”  NO, it was largely because of the masterpiece of destruction that her husband William Jefferson Clinton and the Democrats devised and some Republicans bought into and complied namely the affordable housing legislation.  The Community Reinvestment Act and the legislation that forced banks to make risky and inadvisable loans to low-income families who could not afford the loans.  This was touted as helping them achieve the America Dream and claim the RIGHT to owning a home.  First, there is no RIGHT to own a home that is not a constitutional guarantee it is an objective that many strive for but it is not a RIGHT.  Second, when the Clinton administration assumed power the homeownership rate was lower than when Richard Nixon was president. The Clinton’s wanted to change that but failed to take note of key factors in why home ownership had declined.  In their leftist view, it had to be because of the systematic racism and unfairness of lending institutions, therefore they had to change that and make loans available to virtually everyone regardless of ability to repay.  A really wise business practice, right? 

The Clinton’s failed to consider the reality that the decline in two-parent families had dramatically increased, especially in black households.  I am not attacking blacks when I say that but citing a fact.  The push, that always seems to work, was to label the cause racism, and when politicians hear that charge they hide and consent to virtually whatever is being asked.  The took a 1991 Federal Reserve Study that reported that 61% of blacks and 77% of whites had their loans approved.  The only possible explanation, for them, was racism!  In 1995 the Clinton administration further strengthened the disastrous Jimmy Carter “Community Reinvestment Act” (CRA).  Rather than encouraging financial institutions to find ways to alleviate community credit issues the Clinton plan DEMANDED they do so and thus we had the subprime lending bubble created.  That is a short explanation of a complicated issue.  But suffice it to say, the situation created by the Clinton administration in the housing sector was a major factor in the RECESSION of 2008, not TAX REDUCTIONS.

ACORN “Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now” an activist leftist group took the reins and undertook to embarrass any lending institution not falling into line and making risky and disastrous loans.  But, even more, diabolical is the fact that the Clintons and the Democrats knew the danger in what they were doing but saw political advantage.  In June 2005, Barney Frank, seeking to shame those concerned about the housing bubble, said on the House floor, “You are not going to see the collapse that you see when people talk about a bubble.  So those on our committee, in particular, are going to push for homeownership.”  Sounds noble right?  Well, they pushed as did the Clinton administration and produced an untenable economic situation that did not collapse UNTIL Bill left office and George W. Bush inherited the disaster.  Perfect!  Now Hillary can claim that it was Bush’s fault and Lowering Taxes was to blame rather than being held accountable for failed leftist policies engineered under her husband’s watch.

NOW, she wants to take the reins of America’s economy and the bubble or crash that is about to happen due to the failed economic policies of Barack Obama will only be exacerbated if she becomes President.  You can only spend so much of other people’s money before there is no more money.  Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.  Failed liberal policies, the disaster caused by raising taxes and increased spending will never produce a positive result.  AMERICA WAKE UP!

God help us if we allow Hillary Clinton to become President of the United States of America.  God bless you and God bless America!

AMERICA, Are We Aware and Do We Care?

I have written about this before, the caring part, but the question keeps coming to mind as I watch and listen to the antics, diatribe, rhetoric, and ideological spin of the candidates and the reaction of the potential voters.  The mainstream media’s reaction is nothing more than an extension of the Political Party rhetoric so I don’t even bother with it.

The Monday Night awaited debate between Hillary Rodham Clinton and Donald J. Trump is now history.  I would say “much awaited” but I’m not sure that is the case but nevertheless we knew the debate was going to happen, barring something catastrophic and some may even consider it to have been.  As the candidates and media prepared for the debate in Charlotte, North Carolina the rioting, protests, demonstrations, and looting (pick your descriptor) continued under the tutelage of the Black Lives Matter movement largely funded by George Soros.  The media coverage was and is, at best, biased if not incendiary designed to incite violence and disruption and that seem to be a definite political agenda.  You have not and will not see the rioters accosting a black man who hugged the police or attacking an elderly homeless person or a man being beaten down in a parking garage where thy stripped his pants from him to further humiliate him.  No, you will not see the incredibly dark side of what is happening, you will see it is a peaceful righteous protest against the evils of our systematically racist police and judicial system and the evilness of being white.  I am white and I do not HATE people of other ethnicities although I do DETEST the wrongness of wrong and criminal actions of all skin colors regardless of who it is.  There is widespread looting and I must ask again, “Do we care?”  Do we care that the looting, violence, and pillage that transpires has nothing to do with any possible injustice it is CRIMINAL and should be called such and treated as such!  Not so, we are told by this administration, Hillary Clinton, or the Media.  The president and Hillary Clinton suggest that “if it is happening at all” it is rare.  NO, it is routine these days and if there is a police shooting, regardless of facts or ethnicity of the officer where a black person is shot there will be a riot.  Not if it happens IT HAPPENS!

The Attorney General, the FBI, and other Government Law Enforcement Agencies are sitting on their hands with regard to the lawlessness in Charlotte and elsewhere and ignoring the most recent revelations of Barack Obama’s blatant lie that he was unaware of Hillary’s unsecured server.  He used a pseudonym to communicate with her on that server.  If he thought the server was secure why the fictitious name?  He knew, she knew, the FBI knows, the DOJ knows, the State Department knew and knows, Congress knows and WE SHOULD KNOW. 

In the Charlotte demonstrations or riots, the fingerprints of George Soros are clearly present but “Do We Care?”  They have bussed in protesters, organizers, and rioters from all over the country and the police have stated that 70% of those arrested were from out of state!  IMAGINE THAT!  In the midst of all this, we had and have Hillary Clinton touting the idea that our police are the problem not bad behavior and criminal activity.  She is unconcerned about the truth only about how to garner votes.  I read an article that indicated that what was pressing her button was not the external situation in Charlotte but the height of her podium for the debate.  She wanted to have both candidates seated to keep her from having to stand and to hide her plan to sit on a stool.  She achieved the reduction in height of her podium to offset any visual of the height difference between her and Mr. Trump.  We knew before the debate that the Media planned to use the descriptor STRONG to characterize Hillary if she did not collapse on stage.  They were going to tout this as a ‘knockout victory’ for Hillary unless she became indefensibly incoherent.  Facts are and were of little consequence to them what can be spun is!  What is said by the Republicans and especially Donald Trump is of major importance when they can spin it the way they want it spun.

DO WE CARE?  If we do, then please join those of us who see the impending disaster and destruction if Hillary Clinton becomes President.  God bless you and God bless America!

IF THE ROOT IS WRONG, THE FRUIT WILL BE WRONG…

Today, we have more civil disharmony than we have witnessed in decades and I lay a large portion of the blame at the feet of this administration, the Democrats, the MSM, and activist groups that are feeding on people’s fears and plight. Wrong is wrong and if you begin with a wrong premise you reach a wrong conclusion. If the root is wrong or faulty the tree cannot produce the desired fruit or good fruit.

I am troubled by the actions of a growing chorus of people in disrespecting America and our National Symbol and Anthem. I understand that people have a right to protest and would never want to censor people’s right or restrict their ability to rightfully and peacefully protest.  However, I believe that the actions taken with regard to the playing of the National Anthem demonstrate a disrespect that is not conducive to finding a resolution to the real or perceived problem(s). I am not saying there are not problems only that this is the wrong forum and in many ways fans the flames of discord rather than offering an olive branch or a viable solution. There are right ways and right times to voice discontent, debate, and even protest and in my view, this is the wrong way. Disagree if you please but that is my view and I do believe that I have the right to form my own opinion as much as those protesting have the right to voice and from theirs.

The narrative that we have a ‘systemic racial problem’ in our justice system and in the police forces across America is both flawed and detrimental to finding solutions to the problems that exist. When we paint the Police with the broad brush of ‘systemic racism’ we detract from the overwhelming majority of Police Officers who truly want to serve and keep the peace and are not racist.  Many of them, and I do not know the percentages, are minorities, are they also racist?  The number of wrongful shootings of anyone by police is a very small number statistically as the evidence has repeatedly revealed.  When police shootings, justified or unjustified, are compared to the homicides in our major cities where the vast majority of black people shot are shot by other blacks the protests lose credibility.  The idea that the police and white people, in general, are on a hunting spree to find and murder blacks is so ludicrous it deserves no response.

It is our right to protest, express dissent, and debate the issues and that is as American as Apple Pie.  I not only defend that right but encourage it when done peacefully, at the right time, and in the right way and spirit.  But, I can never justify the ‘rioting, looting, burning, physically accosting, and anarchy’ that is being demonstrated and promoted by groups like “BLM”, the “New Black Panthers” and other groups.  In what way does burning businesses advance the cause of those who truly believe that the System is Rigged, Systematically Racist and that the police are racially targeting blacks with abandon. Even if you believe that, how is destroying the property of others, harming others, stealing, and inciting violence ever justified?  When leaders of various movements and in protests declare that whites are devils and encourage the murder of police and whites, in general, how is that not destructive and blatantly racist?  PLEASE DO NOT argue that it is in any way justified. IT IS NOT!

When any police officer wrongly shoots any person regardless of ethnicity that officer should be and must be held accountable. PERIOD!  When the facts reveal that the shooting was justified there is no basis of protest, demonstration, or attempting to fan the flames of hate and fear.  “Hands up don’t shoot” was based on a fabrication that has been disproven.  Racism is wrong regardless of which direction it comes.  I understand that there are people who lived through the 50’s and 60’s that were discriminated against and wrongfully treated. I can’t go back and cause that to not have happened.  I understand that those individuals learned to distrust and have a very difficult time respecting authority. In the past 8 years, there has been an almost incessant attempt to fan the flames of racial discord. WHY?  That would take a book to answer and then would be incomplete. One of the reasons is HATE but another is more sinister and diabolical, the POLITICAL and IDEOLOGICAL designed to divide and conquer this nation.

If you are offended that I declare that ALL LIVES MATTER I am sorry you are but I believe that to not embrace that truth is to state that some lives are more important than others and can justifiably be identified as RACIST. I detest everything that the Islamic Jihadist stand for but do not consider their lives worthless for they were created by God like you and I. They have a wrong belief and it is destructive. Should they be held accountable? ABSOLUTELY!  I disagree with various movements but consider their lives worth saving, if possible.  Being lawless and doing harm to other people and public or private property is WRONG and cannot be justified.  A person is not bad because they are black, brown, white or any other color. Skin pigmentation does not define the person, attitude does. So, can we stop the use of ‘broad brushes’ for political or ideological purposes and address specific situations in a civil and peaceful manner?  When we actually listen we virtually always find something worth hearing and when we accept that different perspectives produce different views we have a basis to work toward a solution. RIOTING, MAIMING, MURDER, LOOTING, BURNING, and DISRUPTING only produces more distrust and discord, so STOP IT PLEASE!

WILL THE REAL HILLARY CLINTON PLEASE STAND UP???

Maybe that is unfair, she may not be able to stand considering her recent health issues and episodes of fainting or whatever has been happening.  I say that partially in jest and partially in seriousness, for I truly wonder if she does not have some major health issue that is being hidden like most other things with regard to this individual and the Clinton’s in particular.

She claims there were no classified emails sent or received and that she did not lie.  We know both those assertions were fabrications otherwise known as lies.  If she truly thinks that both are the truth, then her medical condition is clearly neurological and possibly psychiatric or psychotic.  She claims that she never advanced the ‘birther’ issue regarding Barack Obama but we know that her campaign did as she sought to bring question as to his qualifications in her attempt to secure the nomination in 2008.  There again, if she believes her claim to be truth then she either has some incredible memory issues or is pathological in her pursuit of falsehood.  She claims that she stands for women’s rights but viciously attacked the women accusing Bill Clinton of sexual crimes or liaisons as bimbo’s and liars even after standing before the world and saying that if a woman claims ‘rape’ she should be heard and believed.  Again, not sure what is going on but have a deep seated suspicion that it is a willingness to do whatever it takes to become president and I do mean anything.  She seems to have an incredibly bad memory, highly selective memory or is pathological in her abuse of the truth.

Then we come to the Clinton Foundation and its direct connection to their personal financial windfall as well as her campaign coffers.  The Clinton’s claim there is nothing to see here because the Foundation is a wonderful organization doing unparalleled good around the world.  The “pay for play” is almost too obvious to ignore and although there may not be sufficient evidence uncovered at this point to make prosecution unavoidable, I’m not sure law enforcement has truly looked and the smell of the rat and rottenness is unavoidable.  But, let’s consider the Wonderful Philanthropic and Charitable Champions of Human Rights and meeting dire needs in the world through the Clinton Foundation.

It is well documented that 85 of the 154 people she met with as Secretary of State were people who donated to her Foundation, Campaign or promised to support one of the international programs associated with the Foundation.  The donations from foreign entities are questionable if not blatantly illegal but, alas, “What difference does it make now?” would seem to be the response.  “Move on nothing to see here, that is yesterday’s news!”  How about the revelation that 50% of the staffers paid under the GSA program also worked for the Clinton Foundation.  That is, at best, a conflict of interest, and at worst fraud and corruption or both.  Her former chief of staff at the State Department, Cheryl Mills, also worked for the Clinton Foundation simultaneously.  Now, if nothing was illegal in the emails or the unethical dual association by Ms. Mills why was she granted immunity by the FBI to cooperate?  The fact that Ms. Mills was connected to both the State Department and the Clinton Foundation is not acceptable but alas, excused in the same vein as the FBI’s response to Hillary’s emails.  But, let’s get to where the rubber meets the road regarding the actual monies that were spent on charitable causes unless you consider the Clinton’s personal well-being a charitable cause.  The amount is atrocious!

In 2013 the evidence reveals that only 10% of their budget went to charity!  The breakdown is as follows:  Other expenses 34%, Salaries/benefits 33%, IT 2%, Office supplies 6%, Rent 5%, Travel 10%, and Charitable Grants 10%.  Take in consideration that Hillary & Bill claim that 88% of their expenditures go directly to life-changing work.  WHOSE LIFE?  The Clintons?  Then in 2014 it gets even better or worse depending on your perspective.  In the reporting year of 2014, the amount spent for Charitable Causes dipped to 5.7%.  The IRS filings made by the Foundation indicate that they spent almost $91.5 million in 2014 of that $5.2 million went to charity and almost $35 million in salaries and benefits and a whopping $50.4 million was classified as OTHER EXPENSES.  I wonder what those other expenses were.  Someone suggested that it was “Bimbos for Bill” but who knows.  We do know they continue to grow wealthier and foreign entities continue to funnel money to them and their foundation but precious little of the funds reach those in need of charitable grants.  Did I mention that $851,000 was listed as ‘professional fundraising expenses”?  But alas, the Clinton’s are personally very charitable they gave $1 million to charity and no one noticed that the million went to their personal slush fund.

Ethics and Hillary are not synonymous and yet millions are still considering allowing her to become president of the United States either by direct vote or backdoor vote.  I cannot fathom that as a real possibility but it is.  America, if we do not WAKE UP and RETURN to our founding principles we are going to do more than pay the piper we are going to see the demise of the Republic we have loved and now hold dear!
